This outlet is the best one for any seafoods lovers... You can go for any varity of seafoods you want to and they are super fresh and tasty... Lobsters were really worth having..its been so long visiting this place still i crave for the food here..i can give it 5/5 in terms of sea foods
In these times of social distancing and isolation, how do you satiate your craving for some delicious seafood that you have been hankering for, for days? Since it was next to impossible to dine at my favourite restaurant, the next best option was to order online and have them deliver home. No fuss. No drama. The delivery was on time. Each item well packed. And best of all, the food tasted just as delicious - exactly what I expected each time I had previously dined at the restaurant. Thank you so much Ferry Wharf.
Hi , we were really missing eating out at our fav sea food joint , the quarantine didn’t really help , so we did the next best thing we ordered . A whole lot of food .. sea food . It was well packed, and food tasted just like it did at the restaurant . Thank you ferry wharf . We had a good lunch .
Ferry Wharf has been a saviour in these covid times delivering the same superior quality food consistently!!
The most fascinating thing is they started delivering till Vile Parle(where i stay) ever since the lockdown has begun! Totally helps a foodie like me curtail the sea food craving! 😅
Do try ordering the ghee roasts!! The mutton is amazingly tasty too!
Needless to say, the hygiene is taken care off as well. The food is perfectly sealed and packed. Additionally, Every order has a list of names of the staff and their temperature details.
I am ordered parcel from ferry wharf surmai curry , surmai fry , pomfret tandoori , bombil fry and Rawas Tandoori its very fresh and tasty . on louckdown period we getting fresh seafood . i love it. Thanks For ferry wharf team
Ordered bombil fry which came with some yummy mustard chutney, butter garlic prawns and surmai fry for starters. For main course I ordered prawns thali and loved it.
One of the best seafood outlets in town , what we are looking for - Delicious Food, Peaceful Ambience, Soft Music and especially when comes to Sea Good , Restaurants have to be clean.
Then Guesses FERRY WHARF located at Bandra wesy has it all.
Serving some really delicious food the service is prompt and the staff is polite and respectful, a wide options in the menu they even have seafood thali, having said so they make the best ghee roast masala may it be crab or prawns the taste is just heavenly.
Branch- They also have a Branch at MALAD WEST.
Food - Food is good, especially loved the way of showing Dummy before ordering on how the food looks of CRAB and Different types of Fishes. Then came Tandoori Tiger CRABS and they were awesome too. By this time we were already quite full. Bombil fry would be my next favorite, fresh fish and crispy, a CAN TRY dish.
Service- The waiters were pro active.. made sure you were served every minute and the plates taken away asap that you were finished even thought we were the only people there.
All in all a recommended place for sea food.

So, if you are Hard core Non Vegeterian , and a sea food lover- Then must try Tiger Prawns at Ferry Wharf.

The best place for sea food. Love this place. Amazing ambiance and staff. Pomfret and prawns is a must try dish...!!!!!
Ferry wharf, a nice cosy place located in the by lanes of Bandra(W). situated amidst some really good restaurants like Candies(Reclamation), Door No 1 and Toffee Coffee Roasters, a easy find using google maps. Coming to the place, it has indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. Place is big enough, can easily accommodate a large family of 7-8 ppl as well. Decor reflects the cuisine of the restaurant, really attractive designs and very catchy!!! The staff is co-operative and kind, were always helpful in food suggestions. Coming to the food, huge number of options to try from. I majorly their sea food items, since that was what I was craving for ;-) From the appetizers section, my favorite would be Squid ghee roast. A MUST TRY dish, fragrance of ghee in a red semi solid gravy and round shaped squid pieces. Bombil fry would be my next favorite, fresh fish and crispy, a CAN TRY dish. Same for their Mandeli fry as well. No complaints but nothing extraordinary. Also tried their mutton green chop, prepared with green marination, not that great. In main course, thalis are really something that you should try. My favorite would be their Baby lobster thali, lobster cooked perfectly and served along with gravy, roti and rice. In terms of cost as well, prices were pretty reasonable. Overall, a 4 star place for me.
As a crab lover, I was in seventh heaven after having the delectable crab curry and clams sukka..loved the food and the service. Only good food and great people.
The thalis here are superb... very friendly staff..
Wholesome food served here especially for sea food lovers as the name suggests.
Courteous staff and prompt service.
Peaceful ambience!
Thali is recommended to have a fulfilling food.
Recommendations include:
Prawns thali
Fish thali (surmai)
The prices justifies the quality of food served.

Good location and ambience with soft mellow music in the background and fascinating sailor/ferry paraphernalia decor. Fish thaali and ghee roast seemed like their most popular dishes which seemed to be present on every table.
We ordered the bombil fry which was a crispy deboned, butterfly fillet served with an interesting chutney. The taste increased exponentially to lip smacking levels with the addition of lemon. Recommended!
The Surmai fish thali was standard thaali. The combination of all elements was much better than the individual components alone. That does justice to the thaali and balances all the flavours. Neer dosas were soft and the Solkadi was thick, flavourful albiet a little hot for some palates.
All in all a recommended place for sea food.
The service is really good and the food was awesome.
Loved the chicken ghee roast 😍
The original taste with the marinated chicken was just awesome .
Loved it
One of the best seafood outlets in town serving some really delicious food the service is prompt and the staff is polite and respectful, a wide options in the menu they even have seafood thali, having said so they make the best ghee roast masala may it be crab or prawns the taste is just heavenly. The ambiance is decent acquiring a theme of a Hawaiian shack.
The dishes we tried were
Ghee roast prawns ( favorite thing)
Butter garlic prawns
Tandoori ravas
Prawns Ghassi with neer dosa
Bombil rawa fry
Truly a hidden gem in Bandra. This is a small bright cozy place with a very nice ambience. The decor is sweet and simple pretty decent. It gives you the feels that you have actually come to seafood restaurant. And when they say that it’s a mangalorian seafood restaurant. With every bite of their food they mean it.
Not only in seafood but with meat dishes they are just amazing and finger licking. Once you sit in this restaurant to eat they will give samples small portions of the dishes to try out and make the further order. If I start there is no end I guess to their best dishes sol kadi, the fish and chicken thali, fish fingers, pomfret Tandoori, crab butter garlic, ghee roast biryani, bamboo biryani and many more. And dont you worry about the freshness, size, quality of the fish you can always ask them to show the raw fish and they will make according to your choice. While serving the crab they give the bib and crab tools which is the best part. The taste just can’t be describe in words to experience it you need to visit and have it yourself.
The owner the staff are really very humble. They are very cooperative help you with the choices. A must visit for the seafood lovers.
They definitely take their crabs seriously. Anyone who provides you with bibs and crab tools does!
The server came out with two massive live crabs and we actually thought that they were too big. So we asked for a size smaller but even this one was huge. We got it made in butter garlic sauce and paired it with neer dosa. The crab was delicious and meaty. We also had boondi raita .. jlt :)
The ambience is good with both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside. A better choice, I'd say, on a pleasant Nov evening.
Staff is good.
Of course, the crab clawed big holes in our pockets. But I'm not complaining. Totally worth it.
This is a go to place for all ghee roast lovers..
Pomfret fry was really good. We also tried the fish thali. Which was surmai with neer dosa.how can we mis the solkadi😍😍😍
One of the best seafood restaurants in the city. Their chicken ghee roast biryani is one of my favourite dishes
Ferry Wharf is one of the best sea food restaurants in the city and I cannot get over the Tandoori crab and chicken ghee roast biryani! The food is wholesome, prepared with high quality produce and it always makes me come back for more. I have visited ferry wharf on several occasions and my family and I love the variety of thaalis served by restaurant. Kudos to the team!
Seafood lovers Pardise.... what a hidden gem this place is. Located in Bandra reclamation in the famous candies lane. As we enter we were welcomed and seated in the ac section. The person who took our order informed us well about the fresh catches ( very imp for a fish place ) and as per his help we called for our food. The Bombil Fry is a must try and the Chicken bamboo Biryani too is sure not to miss. If you looking for a simple meal they have thali options too. Do end your meal with a refreshing Solkadi. Staff is very attentive and very helpfull. KUDOS TO TEAM FERRY WHARF. MUST VISIT FOR SEA FOOD
It was an amazing experience with these guys , All what we ordered was chicken thali and prawns thali which was amazing as a thali and portion was decent. Malai kabab and bomb ki fry were the amazing starters and butter chicken with cheese garlic naan was yummmm.
Also at the end we had the payasam and guava kulfi for the dessert which was a perfect ending
Overall it was an amazing experience to be here
Loved this place.... Nice Ambience... Food is very luscious
Solkadi taste is very different...bit spicy...a must try one.....
Surmai... Mutton Masala....prawans....all were good in taste.
Do try the Bamboo Biryani....very delicious.
Overall a very good restaurant. Do try it.
This place has always been my favorite whenever I want to try costal and sea food.
They have curated their whole menu so amazingly no doubt its one of the best place in town.
Its located both in bandra and malad. The ambiance of both place is really beautiful.
Do try the biryani here, I don't remember the name of biryani exactly but it had amazing flavour of chicken and ghee in it and its surely the best chicken biryani I had.
Must try this place.
After a long time, it was time for guys day out. Came to Ferry Wharf on a recommendation and man it did not disappoint.
The ambience is simple, nice and cozy. It was empty being a weekday and Navratri.
The captain and the staff were courteous and helpful.
It’s an experience to choose ur sea food before being prepared.
We sipped on Sol Kadhi while our food was being prepared. The Crab Butter Garlic was delicious. This was first experience of eating a non deboned crab. We were dressed up with an apron for the feat. Enjoyed the crab.
Then came Tandoori Tiger Prawns and they were awesome too. By this time we were already quite full.
And then came the show stopper - the Sea Food Bamboo Biryani. Yummy it was. It was one of the few Biryanis which I loved.
Overall a lovely experience.
P. S. The price is on the higher side. This place is not for people who are on a budget.
I have a suspicion about this place, ill elaborate:
Bombil
- these bombils are exactly like the ones you get in Gajalee, get this
Chutney
- this is exactly like what you get in Gajalee, fantastic
Oyster fry
- this was good, and decent quantity
Ghee roast prawn
- fantastic, good sized prawns, just like Gajalee
Crab soup
- okayish, hardly any crab meat
Mutton potato chop
- massive size and good quantity of mutton
Caramel custard
- standard stuff
Packaging: good
Pricing: expensive even with discount
My suspicion? that this place is run by ex-Gajalee staff!!
Ferry Wharf – Seafood Paradise
Few weeks ago I had been to Ferry wharf which is at 10 – 15 mins drive from Bandra Location with my bestie to celebrate my post birthday lunch treat. As we had booked the tables in advance through eazydiner app which offer 10% discount on Food Bill. Quite surprising to see entire place was vacant as if I had booked the entire place for two of us….Slowly and gradually people stepped in but we had our own good time. Ferry wharf menu offers seafood and north Indian cuisines. If you are a seafood lovers then it is one of the best restaurants in Mumbai to catch your fish. Once you go through the menu staff is well acknowledged so they bring a tray of fish which has different types of raw fish. My very first reaction was I want them all….lol Also they bought a live crab which was a bit scary at that moment. We stuck to our plan to only go for seafood no chicken this time.
Food:
1> Bombil Fry – One of our favourite when it comes to Bombay duck. Four pieces were served along with mustard chutney. She managed to complete two of her within minutes meanwhile I was finishing the first one. They were served hot and fresh. Properly Deep fried in semolina batter.
2> Bangda Fry – Well I’m fond of Pomfret but based on her recommendation we went for Bangda this time. There are other cooking options as well (tandoori/hyderabadi/Ghee Roast). It was delish. Full of flavours and tender while chewing.
3> Prawns Green Chilly Sauce – Dazzled by the flavour of spices in the sauce. Along with mid-sized prawns were cooked for perfection.
4> Tarli Pulimunchi – Well the name sounds a bit confusing to me but if you ask any Manglorean/Konkani Person they will have a smile on their face hearing it. So Tarli here stands for Sardine which has great health benefits. Puli means ‘tamarind/ sour’ and munchi means ‘chilli’ so to sum it up it is a hot and sour fish curry. Went well with Bhakri.
Ambience – Ambience is neat and clean with walls painted by sea based theme. Seating is comfortable.
Service – Our attendant was quick with suggestions and service.
Food – 4.5/5
Ambience – 5/5
Service – 5/5
Thank you Ferry Wharf for a scrumptious afternoon….
Superb food abd and very quick service considering it was saturday evening
Good Sea Food Fresh and Amazing Taste , Great Ambience, Good Courteous staff, and Great Table Service
If you are a seafood lover this is the place for you. Went their on a lot of recommendations from frnz and family. Was a bit sceptical looking at the prices but let me tell you every morsel you take you will praise the cook and feel its all worth it.
Ordered a tandoori pomphret which was as fresh as it could get, moist, well cooked, hot from the tandoor and amazingly marinated. Then ordered a mutton ghee roast with neer dosa and it was lip smacking. Lastly ordered a chicken bamboo biryani which was both aromatic and tasty.
Most importantly the staff was welcoming and courteous. Special mention for Deb and Chakra whom we never felt the need to call for anything as they were absolutely on their toes to assist us with our needs with a smiling face.
In all loved the experience and not a single point to be cut here or there. Would be definitely revisiting and recommending. Cheers!!! Omkar072 MalwaniVarde
Came here on a Sunday late morning to find this place empty. Ordered butter garlic lobster and a chicken bamboo biriyani.
The lobster was served in its shell. They'll bring you a tray of raw fish which you can choose from and the cost will be according to the weight. The losbster dish had some chewy bits to it but other than that tasted really good. The biriyani had really good masala even though the chicken was a bit chewy.
The waiters were pro active.. made sure you were served every minute and the plates taken away asap that you were finished even thought we were the only people there.
So if you come to a seafood specialty restaurant , my opinion is to have seafood rather than try other cuisines.
Courteous staff, family ambience and good crockery makes you feel you have come to an elegant place.
Portions are average and the cost is 1000/- pp which I felt was more expensive than other seafood specialty restaurants serving similar food. Seafood served is fresh , well cooked and delicious.
We tried the following :
BOMBIL FRY: other restaurants serve the whole BOMBIL but here they cut it into three pieces and then batter- fry it. This way it is more delicious and tasty to have along with their garlic- ginger chutney served with the BOMBIL. Very good
TANDOORI POMFRET : fresh , well marinated , well cooked and tasty. Very good.
CRAB BLACK PEPPER : crab was fresh but I would prefer it to be cooked in butter garlic.
PRAWNS GHEE ROAST : aromatic pure ghee fragrant fresh prawns. Very good and slightly spicy.
PRAWNS GREEN CHILIES: a different taste than other restaurants and NOT too spicy as the name goes. Go ahead and try it for a variation.
We had all the above with hot , soft and delicious neer dosas.
Recommended for the freshness of the seafood.
Great sea food place. Courteous staff and good hygiene maintained. The Bombil fry was good but on the oily side. The gravy’s were excellent. Disappointment was the prawn ghee roast Biryani. It was more like a basic pulao. Overall a good place to have sea food.
An amazing spot for seafood lovers and to tr fresh catches of the day. It's located opposite the ONGC colony gate in Bandra Reclamation. Very easy to spot and has a very quaint and comfortable seaside resto kind of feel to it. The food is delicious and you can have the fresh catches of the day with your choice of preparation. Do note that some of their preparations can get super spicy, so don't forget to mention the spice level. Try the crabs, specially in monsoon. The service is very good, attentive and could be more prompt.
A must visit place , I loved potato ghee roast as I'm vegetarian but my family loved butter-garlic prawns, Mutton ghee roast, neer dosa, bomil fry. My son keeps visiting with friends.
To eat here is am absolute delight .. I always have the bombil fry or the fish fingers .. they serve some really fresh calamari ..but I'm not a fan of their thalis as much as I love the rest of then food ..
I visit this place often and it is no doubt one of my favourites.
The food and service are both extremely good.
I almost always forget to click pictures of the food, because I can't wait to eat it.But I managed to click a picture of the mix seafood bamboo biryani, which is a must try!
Amazing seafood place !!
Very very tasty and fresh food!!
Crabs butter garlic just yummm 😍
The fish Thali is the best 👌🏻
Very nice manager very good recommendations 👍🏻
Fresh Fish - Fabulous
The golden rule for good seafood is FRESHNESS
And this was evident in the fish served here
Fish fingers was awesome
Fish Ghee roast absolutely must try
Prawns Gassi - Prawns were a little too hard but the gravy was appreciable
Neer Dosa perfect accompaniment
Ambience was welcoming and comfortable
Staff also not too Intrusive but would help if they take some time to recommend dishes to try to first timers
I am a big seafood lover. I recently visited this place and I ordered Tarli fried fish and prawns biryani that was simply amazing..
If you are a seafood lover you should not miss visiting this place.
Few places which actually focus on the quality of food. Seafood here is super fresh and tasty. Order fish fry , rawas starter, surmai fry and every item was super fresh and juicy. It was prepared also to the optimum level. One of the best seafood places to visit in Bandra. For the quality they are serving its perfectly priced.Once ordered home delivery so they sealed the packet and sent it-with a slip with said return if seal is broken. I have hardly seen restaurants caring about the quality & customer satisfaction so much. Definitely worth visiting.

Bandra West offers a wide choice of restaurants and it was difficult to choose one, but we zeroed in on this one as we were in the mood for some sea food and chicken ghee roast.
We aren't voracious eaters, but we over ate that day! The food was that good! Chicken ghee roast, prawns curry (I guess we chose their yellow curry), butter garlic prawns and loads of neer dosas! Our server was amazing and extremely hospitable. It's a shame I forgot to ask his name. But he made our experience even more pleasant.
They have a system wherein they introduce a small tray with their various curries and gravies and you can taste them and decide which fish you would like with a specific curry. It was a tough choice for us, but would love to visit again to try something else!
Delectable coastal cuisine, particularly mangalorean food. Every dish had a distinctive flavour without any masala being overpowering or hot.
It serves good Manglorean food. Very nice sol kadi & fish. The ambience is decent nothing fancy but overall good food, recommend it to everyone
Nice peaceful ambience with a simple decor. The Ghee roast prawn with the chapati in my opinion was the tastiest of all that we had ordered. It was a bright red thick creamy gravy. The look almost got us scared. However it wasnt as spicy as it looked. Had a rich but balanced tangy taste to it which we really relished. The bombil fry and rawa coated prawn fry were tasty but a little too greasy than the usual. Tried the tandoori lady fish for the first time too. found the solkari slightly dfferent from the regular but very refreshing!
A very nice ..warm and cosy place⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ .... can get a little noisy during the weekends ... a must visit for all sea food lovers ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ...quick service and courteous staff ... !! Overall a good experience!
An amazing place for the food it serves as compared to its competitors nearby. The staff is polite and food is tasty. Good experience overall.
Ferry wharf is a casual dining place located near Lilavati and MET.The place is nicely decked with soothing interiors and a casual spic to enhance the overall virtues .
Menu is constrained and a bit confusing as well .Starters are a mix with mains and there has to be someone to explain and take down how we want the dish to be .
Coming to the food
Baby Lobster Butter Garlic : Heavenly delicious and damn mesmerizing .The dish was amazing with perfect blend of butter and garlic .Lobster cooked well and nicely assimilated with the overall preparation .A must try
Prawns Pepper Fry : Juicy , well cooked and perfect as expected .The taste was upto the mark and seems value for money
Rawas Tawa Fry : Cooked well , good chunky piece well marinated and deep fried . disappointed with price to quantity ratio
Prawns Biryani : Good preparation , amazing quantity , a but dry but can be ignored .Must try
Prawns Gassi : A bit disappointed with this one .Too liquidy. Could have been a bit more concentrated .Taste was good and quantity is justified basis the price .Tastes good with neer dosa.
Service is nice and perfect .Staff is courteous and food arrived quick .
Disclaimer : The charge an upfront 5% service charge .So be ready to pay it.
Prices are justified basis the quantity for most of the dishes .
Overall Verdict : Good place to have a quiet and peaceful dinner .The place truly stands on your expectations .
It is best one in Bandra if u want to eat fish.. there butter garlic prawns and ghee roast chicken with bhakri is out of the world.. mutton is too tender n juicy
Good , neat place. Moderate on budget. Very quick service. Food is good. Solkadhi was great. Quantity is optimum. Waiters are well trained. Must try in Mumbai for seafood lovers.
What a amazing experience lovely sea food and some excellent quick service. Do book a table this place will be full ... we had the prawn ghee roast n pomfret tikkas ... yummy food
This place is a very cosy place located in the by lanes opposite Lilavati hospital. As per recommendation I booked a table and found it was worth it as within half an hour the place was full.
The menu has good options. They make you taste 4 sauces and you can ask your dishes to be prepared as per your taste.
Bombil fry was real crispy and Rawas was delicious. Prawns were fresh and perfectly cooked. Sol kadhi also was good.

I have visited this restaurant quiet a few times and it gets better every visit. The first time I visited was for a review but the other times was just for the love for the taste that they provide.
The ambiance is really beautiful, spacious and lovely.
The restaurant is completely designed with sea vibe interior. If you visit this place do meet their owner Mr.Prakash, he is a gentleman and a sweet soul.
The food is amazing, amazing amazing, do try the chicken biryani here, they have a different way of cooking and you won't find that taste anywhere all around.
Must visit, highly recommend!
Newly opened place. Outdoor & indoor seating. Not cramped at all.
Ordered -
Sol kadi
Bombil fry
Lobster in white pepper sauce
Prawns ghee roast
Neer dosa
Rice bhakri
Caramel custard.
Will give it a 4/5 . Food was good. They give you a sauce tasting platter. U can choose your seafood in any of the sauces presented.
The ghee roast was very different compared to what iv had at other places. Be warned! It's spicy as hell!
All in all a good exp. But it's expensive. Above order cost is almost 3k!
This restaurant is damm amazing. The food is extremely best. The ambience is too good but the food quality is extremely best. The service of the hotel is also nice. The quantity of the food is also good.
Excellent seafood especially Kane Masala fry and Tandoori Crab is must try !! you can find here Best mangalorian cuisine ...Superb hospitality and Special thanks to Mr.Joseph Carvalho
Its a paradise for seafood lovers. I really enjoyed the butter garlic crab with appam...just delicious!
I will definately come back for more of it.

Overall had a good meal with the family
We ordered crab sukka , neer dosa and surmai masala fry. The staff is very polite and Dennis the manager let us place the order and walk into the neighbourhood bar to grab a beer because they don’t serve alcohol while the food was prepared. Crab was outstanding and surmai was very fresh. One thing that surprised me is that inspite of ordering a whole crab by the kg ( 3000 per kg) between two of us , they charged me extra Rs 200 for a bowl of plain curry. Overall great food and will surely go back.
The location was pretty good not a crowded noisy place so you can eat in peace without too much noise around .secondly the quantity on the food is pretty good too I.e we ordered a mutton and a clams thali it wasn’t over filled like you have in most restaurants were u eat may 3-4 items and waste the rest so this was a good thing ... we had some good starters too and crab soup should not be missed ... overall good place good food !!
Ministry of Crab can learn a thing or three from this place. Food was incredibly tasty.
The Ghee Masala Tiger prawn with the beer dosa and Clams was amazing. Definitely a place to visit for authentic sea food.
Not overly done in terms of decor.. Anyways its the food that matters!!
Seafood is what is best here but this place is paradise for not only seafood lovers but Non veg lovers as well. What we had :
1. Butter garlic prawns -4.5/5
2. Bombil fry - 4/5
3. Prawns Ghee roast - 5/5😍
4. Mutton green curry - 3.5/5
5. Chicken tikka masala - 5/5 😍
They have a unique system where they offer you to taste the gravy before you order and I really appreciated that. The ghee roast was a heavenly gravy with prawns and made to perfection. Hands down the best dish. Butter garlic prawns were also amazing the dish did complete Justice to it's name and Chicken Tikka masala was made how actually a Tikka masala should be made so full points to that.
The staff was helpful and cordial and service was quick!
PS : Gulab jamuns are awesome for desserts
Ferry Wharf Seafood Restaurant is the ultimate destination for seafood lovers It offers a wide variety to choose from some of the maharashtrian delicacies in veg and non veg dishes. It also offers dishes in chicken and mutton. Taste and freshness is well maintained. Furthermore, the staff are prompt and courteous and make you feel like home. It is also pocket friendly. It is a great seafood joint in Bandra west area.
Ferry Wharf is a good seafood restaurant. Bombil fry is amazing here. We took bamboo biryani too.. it was amazing in taste.
These people show you the raw fish, prawns, crab, lobster which one you want to have it.
We had tandoori prompfret. But here I felt cost was high for prompfret.
This is a Bandra Reclamation, Mumbai based Branch Out of the Popular Malvani & Seafood 🌊 Gajalee Restaurant Chain of Mumbai. It however outperforms Gajalee in almost every aspect and is now one of our Most Preferred Restaurants for all types of Authentic Malvani Cuisine, Seafood 🐟 🐠 🎣, Goat Mutton 🐐 and all other Speciality Dishes as well.
Absolutely Fresh Seafood 🐟 and Meats, Superbly Prepared with their Trademark Spices, Sumptuous Quantities, combined with a Great Ambience, Comfortable Air-conditioning, Clean Washroom, Good Service, Reasonable Rates and Adequate Street Parking with a Valet in attendance too. Can't really ask for more. The only thing missing is a Bar, as they don't serve any Alcoholic Drinks here, not even Beer🍺.
They do however have an outlet in Malad which has a Full Fledged Bar and I hope that they will have this in the Bandra Outlet as well soon.
An Absolute Must Visit Restaurant for all Malvani Cuisine & Seafood Lovers and Highly Recommended too.
One of the best sea food joints I have visited in Mumbai. Everything I tried was amazing but my personal favorites are clams masala and tandoori crabs, just brilliant
If you are a sea food lover then don’t miss out on this place. The fishes are really fresh and cooked to perfection.
The tandoori whole crab was excellent
They shoe u the live catch before they prepare it
They are sometimes out of the lobster and prawns so call ahead
The place has a significant smell of fish, hence the 4 in ambience
Overall, good place if u like fresh seafood.
A fantastic experience each time we have been there....Ferry Wharf is such a gem! We have been regulars here since the last 4 years, and we swear by the seafood they cook up. A family run restaurant, mainly mother and daughter, one can sense the care they have taken to curate a lovely menu, full of flavour and taste. We highly recommend starting the meals with their signature sol kadhi, which is packed with a garlic punch, along with coconut milk and kokum...great way to get you set for the rest of the meal. We were told that they have introduced a lot of new items on the menu, mainly Maharashtrian, malwani, etc, along with their previous Mangalorean specialities, we went ahead a tried a few. The stuffed bombil was excellent. quite unlike the ones we hve tried at other places, this one is more 'cigar' like, and the stuffing is prawns and mince. To follow that up was the Prawns ambat tikhat, which probably was the best prawn curry we have tried off late. Went well with the neer dosas. The spice was well balanced with the tang of raw mango pieces along with big sized prawns. A definite must have. And out of sheer temptation we went for the Mutton nalli...which again was pure meaty bliss. The curry was not overpowering in its taste, allowing the fall-off-the-bone mutton to shine through. This was paired with bhakris. And to end this wonderful meal, we went for the caramel custard, which is made in-house, we are told. Fabulous stuff! I always say good food compliments good conversations and that's proven right if you have Mr. Prakash Rai of Ferry Wharf to start a nice conversation with you, explaining a bit about the food and flavours on offer, right to travel and adventures. Ferry Wharf is a def two thumbs up!
Hey my dear viewers, today I ventured out for lunch. Yes, lunch in this simmering summer heat. We were 4 friends, although we were supposed to be 8 of us. One was down with fever and cough and the other 3 had family commitments.
To start with, it’s a nice place. Nothing very grandeur, but a charm of its own. There’s an air conditioned dining room and there’s an exterior seating area also. Of course we were sitting in the air conditioned dining room!
The manager was suggesting food of high values, as is generally the norm. But a friend who was recently there, had the menu ready in her mind. So that was a bit easy going for us.
We ordered fried bombay ducks, which was sliced very thin, coated with rice flour and bare spices, and deep fried. It would have been good if some more lemon juice and some chilies was added in the marinade or the coating.
Reshmi Chicken Tikka was very ordinary as us served elsewhere. Little bland. That zest was missing.
Prawns in ghee roasted red chilies was SPICY AND DELICIOUS. It was more like a red chilies Chutney. I had to alternate every bite if this prawns ghee roast with the chicken coconut based gravy that we had ordered. These 2 dishes were served with neer dosa, something like rice flour chapati or thin dosa batter.
And then the prawns Pulao, which was served in a bamboo log. Yummy. That flavour! And it was served with a raita. Which was not yogurt based, but finely diced onions and tomatoes in coconut chutney. This was something really different.
Instead of any soft beverages, we ordered sol curry to go with our food. This is made of Kokam, done chilies and coconut milk. Cold. Good. In fact we added a couple of ice cubes to the cold drink to make it more chilled.
A friend who has a sweet tooth, wanted some dessert at the end of the meal. So we ordered a Matka Rabdi. Not much of a choice here. Chocolate Brownie with ice cream (sic) and caramel custard.
The portions of the food were good, not small but not too bad either. Towards the end, all 4 of us were well satiated and contented.
Do visit them. I’ve been told many celebrities visit here. It’s an affordable place. Staff is amicable. Enjoy.

This review captures the essence of a positive experience at a seafood restaurant in a short and sweet
Not many restaurants serve good sea food in Mumbai. If you are a sea food lover then hit this place. They have all kinds of sea food . Squid lovers, here it is.
Very good food but service is bit slow. Manager was very polite and helpful. Had ordered Ravas fry, stuffed Bombil fry and Prawns Bamboo Biryani. One should definitely try Bamboo Biryani. Place to visit again.
Ferry wharf seafood restaurant is a seafood lover's paradise! Their butter garlic crab is to die for. The flavors are simply out of this world, and the service is top-notch. It's a bit on the pricey side, but the quality of the food is worth every penny.
The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about seafood. They provided excellent recommendations, answered all my questions, and ensured my dining experience was flawless. It's rare to find such a high level of service these days, and it truly enhanced my meal.

Great place for seafood prepared in Konkani style. Coconut gravy lovers can have a great time here. Bombil thali was awesome with green coconut based gravy. Tarli fish fry was simply fantastic, tastes like bangda.
This is hidden seafood jewel in Bandra. We had spicy Crab soup, Green chili Shrimp and Tandoori Pomfret. Every thing was excellent. Manager was very friendly and helped us guide through menu. We will definitely come back. Only thing missing was Wine.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hear and it was truly a delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant's ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a memorable meal.
