Been a big fan of the food of Sheetal Bhukara. The kebabs, curry, garlic nan has been delicious over the years.
The price might be a bit high but the portions are good enough along with the wonderful taste.
Sheetal bukhara has some delicious food. I literally went there once in 3 weeks continuously. The Indian food is highly recommended. The staff are very warm and always ready to serve you. The atmosphere is like a typical Indian restaurant of the 90's which is what I love about the place. The paneer kadhai Is a must. The location is in the hear of linking road.

I've been to this restaurant a couple of times. They serve Indian, mughlai and Chinese cusines. For some reason, I just love their paneer dishes, the paneer is so fresh and you just can't stop relishing it. The staff is very helpful and they give suggestions as to what to order. I had a really good time here. Pay a visit here.

A place which i call where i can get home like food and service. Food has such lovely taste and very comforting food and taste . Every dish i tried veg and non veg i had no complaints .each dish tasted very good. Love the kebabs and most starters here . Dal khichdi is the best i ever had . Do try the variety of soups and starters ..absolutely delish. And paneer bukara masala is unbeatable taste. If looking for mughlai cuisine in bandra this is the ultimate choice.

“Sheetal Bukhara” one of the popular multi-cuisine casual dining place amongst local residents of Bandra and Khar.
We visited this place couple of weeks back on Saturday night as we were bored to party and just wanted to hog on some lip-smacking Indian food.
Ambience:- It’s a typical dining place with nearly done interiors and comfortable seating options.
Menu:- This place offers a Multi-cuisine options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarians. We tried out following from the menu:-
👉 Paneer Bukhara Masala:- My Favourite out of the two veg gravy which we tried. It’s signature dish from the menu. Panner cooked with in-house masala and it went well with Roomali Roti.
👉 Veg Hariyali Masala:- Along with Paneer Bukhara we tried out this gravy since it was in green masala. Tasty and surely must try one from the menu.
👉 Dal Tadka:- Simply awesome.

We had masala papad,murg gunjali,cheese corn croquette, butter chicken, rumali roti, veg bukhara biryani, caramel custard and gulab jamun. Murg gunjali is boneless chicken stuffed with mutton kheema. Caramel custard was also good. Recommended for non veg lovers.

Sheetal Bukhara name is enough for Bandra west residents. From 9 to 90 all age people love this place. I visited this place 3years back. And now after three years I came back. Surprisingly the taste of food was amazing as before 3years. Friendly staff. Prompt service. Overall great experience.
The tandoori fish is excellent. That’s my go to dish every time. The dal makhni is another one of the dishes to look out for. That’s my standard order at Sheetal Bukhara.

This is one place someone should go when they want to have some nice spicy north indian cusine! Their must try is their butter chicken and chicken biryani. Their place is always has a waiting which is a negative point for them but their food is worth the wait. As in olden days people used to say “sabar ka fal meetha hota hain, waise hi sheetal ke line mein khade rehne ka fal naseebdar hota hain”
Loved the food & ambience of this place, with good service, their tandoori item are not just yummy but juicy & tender. For dessert I had kulfi falooda with rabdi which was delicious. A must try for tandoori lovers.

We went here for farewell of my senior colleague and she was treating us there. We ordered alot of things veg and non veg.. me being vegetarian I'll be just writing for veg food and I must say it was very nice. Food was tasty and they serve generous amount of quantity too.. there were various sabjis we ordered but the one I liked it most was Bukhara paneer and it was yum.. on our special requirement they made it even spicy for us.. staff is friendly and they were very quick at our service.. you must be wondering if everything was so good and why one star less ? Actually that's because I did not like the part they putting raw green chillies in my buttermilk actually that kind of pissed me but apart from that everything was nice and yum..😋 also one more thing when you go there do order the big papad i.e. this basket papad its amazing I am attaching the pic of that papad coz for everything else we were so hungry we did not click a picture for it😅

We have been visiting Sheetal Bukhara for as long as I remember (at least 25 years) and it remains consistent as ever in food preparation and service. Malali kebab, Reshmi kabab, Butter chicken, methi malai Matar - our family order without looking at the menu.
Consistently great food - spicy starters and large variety for your main course. Staff polite and helpful, and don’t hover too much. Go for the Indian food, havnt really tried their Chinese.
It's one of the oldest places in Khar. No frills, simple and comfortable.

Chicken chilli mili kababs were well done. Soft and moist, and flavourful. The veg keema too had the right flavours and bite. Moderately priced, its value for money. Worth a second visit to try other dishes on the menu. Hope they live up to expectations.
The only setback here is the very filthy restroom.

Sheetal Bukhara is located opposite Khar Telephone Exchange. This restaurant has been there for years and still does very well. It is no doubt one of the best dining places if you're looking for Indian cuisine. They also serve Chinese and Continental Food. This is owned by a Sardar Family. Soni, the owner is an excellent person to talk to or deal with in case you want to host a family dinner or any other social get together.
Coming to the most important bit, the food. Anything you order there will be delicious, undoubtedly. They serve really good non-veg and veg too. It is priced appropriately. The food and the service is completely worth the money you pay.

I was welcomed by the staff of the restaurant extremely polite and courteous..
My table was attended by the captain in The food and beverage section. Mr. Arun. Who was exceptional with his recommendation and seem to be an expert at recommending me and guiding me through a lavish menu which was organised and well planned. I must mention Mr. Arun did a good job at understanding my taste as per my choice of. As we had an early flight to catch we rushed to Sheetal Bukhara awesome dinner before rushing to the airport.
Initially I was his assistant and scared as I thought the food would be so late but to my surprise are forced to great pains and initiated and make sure that the food was served hot and sooner than we could expect.
Sheetal Bukhara has maintained its quality of over sometimes as long as I know maybe 20 years since I’ve been residing in Mumbai and it is very famous for ordering food when most of the restaurants are closed in the night.

Sheetal Bukhara has been one of my favourite fine dines and continues to do justice. On my this visit to Mumbai, I just had to go here. Following summaries my experience-:
Ambiance- Wow! It gives you a lovely eye treat with lovely chairs, tables and chandeliers all around. I have seen better but this is good. They have seating on an upper floor and a lower one having a difference of just 5 stairs. 4.5/5
Service- The waiters are super polite, friendly and all the food is served hot and on time. They are smartly dressed and well trained 5/5

Sweet corn soup- More on the blander side and not for you if you swear by spicy food. Simple and nice with good presentation. 3.5/5

Visited last nite after some years as last this place had their quality and service go down but last nite was a very pleasant experience again. Had chicken chilly Mily kebab , tangdi kabab , fish koliwada all were excellent. Their black daal was always amazing but seems sometimes they just add some cream and serve but last time nite it was outstanding with the lacha paratha seems to be straight from Amritsar . All in all amazing food hope we get the same next time.

We were a large group of 18 and our reservation and table setting was handled very well by MR. Savio Dsouza the Captain. We sat in the basement since that was the longest unhindered table in the restaurant and were totally given our privacy.
We started off with this amazing Rumali Papad. Yum and tasty huge hit with the kiddos as well. Soups had heard the man chow chicken was good and yum it was.
We then moved on to appetizers Chicken tikka was Good and proper, soft succulent pieces of chicken however nothing over the top. Fish tikka again was overall decent but the fish texture was really good. Chinese appetizers were fab crispy chicken fantastic and chilli chicken fab.
Butter chicken as per tons of reviews was pretty good, but I’ve eaten better as I’m sure a lot of people have. That DAL KHICHDI was to die for absolutely Yum. Chicken fried rice too was spot on perfect.
Ambience was great however service with Mr D’souza and his team of Aslam and Rizwan was par excellent. Despite quite a few reviews that experienced bad service we were glad to have received such fantastic service. Definitely recommend to try this place for good, proper Mughlai food 🙂
Late night Paneer chili / Paneer Tikka rolls from Sheetal are the best. The roti is soft and well cooked. One roll is massive and equals two rolls for most people. The tandoori baby corn with the green chutney is really tasty and spicy as well. The quality is consistent and the rolls are always well made.
Been here many times, been going there since childhood with my family. The amazing part is the taste hasnt changed a bit! The pricing remains almost constant and ambiance is outstanding as usual. Cozy family joint that one just visit in Mumbai.

Place is cool to go with your crew there are hard drinks and really good Indian food price is okay ambiance is really rich looking and is jam packed most of the time things to try there are the butter chicken and the murg Mussalam

Sheetal Bukhara has been around for as long as I can remember. This is an old-school restaurant which is a perfect place for a cozy family meal. I have visited this place numerous times in the past now but over the years my visits have reduced. I was here recently for a family get together and the place hasn’t changed one bit.
In the past my meals here sometimes were an absolute hit or sometimes very average.
AMBIANCE
The ambiance is decent, with clean and classy interiors. There is a soft music that plays in the background which makes it perfect for easy conversations.
They have many seating options, the sofa seats and also the chairs and tables.
They have a seating downstairs and upstairs.
On weekends usually this place runs full so it is necessary to get a reservation to avoid waiting for long.
SERVICE
The service on this particular day was great. The place wasn’t overly crowded and servers were quick and attentive.
One particular server made some excellent food suggestions which turned out to be bang on and extremely delicious. All in all I was impressed.

Sweet Corn Chicken Soup- One of my favourite ways to start a meal here, basic hot soup with a thick consistency and good amount of chicken pieces.

These were boneless chicken pieces, marinated in some delicious masala and grilled to perfection.

I paired this with the green chutney they had served. This is must try.

The base of this gravy was soya sauce and black bean sauce and was absolutely delicious and lip smacking.

The pricing is decent, not too high. All the dishes are averagely marked ranging between Rs 300/- to Rs 350/-.
The quality of the food is good, the quantity of some dishes could have been better.
The restaurant charges a 5% GST. My bill for all the dishes I tried was about Rs 3385/-.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Overall I had a good meal here, most of the dishes were a hit for me. If looking for a place for a family meal with good food which is not too fancy this can be surely considered.
Prior booking is needed as there is waiting. Food is good. Service is very nice. Overall just loved it.

With a simple, neat and sophisticated ambience, there’s nothing that can distract you from your food!
Their chicken tikkas, tandoori chicken, butter chicken & chicken tikka gravy are like comfort food! Their vegetarian options are equally delicious with simple dishes like dal, aloo jeera, aloo gobi, bhindi & mix veg standing out!
Their Bukhara biryani is full of flavour and spices!
Don’t expect much from their desserts (honestly I haven’t tried many)!
All in all, order in if you can, especially in this rainy season, sitting at home and having some crazy piping hot tikkas is what heaven feels like no! :)

Have had the Bukhara chicken(their specialty),jumbo prawns,butter chicken.The taste was up to expectations.personal favourite dine in place
Consistently good comfort food. We recently discovered this Khar landmark recently thanks to friends who've lived close by all their lives, and we've been hooked on since. While most of our meals have been takeouts, we have dined in a couple of times. The garlic palak, the khichada and the butter chicken are delicious, but most of the food is consistently good. This is not a fine dining restaurant, but is definitely our default for comfort food.
Good food and for a change this restaurant still maintains age old restaurant norms like table with properly arranged cutleries , napkins and nicely illuminated ambience unlikely the new age dim lighted funky resto cafes.

Sheetal bhukara is a great place. It’s been here for ages. The decor and lighting would make you feel you have gone back to the 90’s. it’s a classic place.

Sheetal Bukhara is my most favourite place place when it comes to family dinner. Had gone yesterday night to celebrate my dad's birthday.
The service is fast & the food is of the best quality. All the dishes were prepared with excellence & our most favourite is their Chicken Crispy. We also tried Paneer Hariyali Tikka, Paneer Tit Bit & Chicken Lollipop. Loved them all.. In main course we had Butter Chicken, Mutton Rogan Josh & Indian Breads. The butter chicken was perfectly sweet & tasty & the mutton rogan josh was the best with mutton pieces so soft which melt in your mouth.
So if you ever go here, don't miss the Chicken Crispy & Mutton Rogan Josh
We have stayed in their hotel(Royal Inn) on our recent trip to Mumbai. Have heard a lot about their restaurant and their special Bukhara Chicken. We almost had our meals from there itself and the food was great. On the last day, we went to the restaurant for lunch and had Bukhara Chicken alongwith a few more items. Everything was tasty and the staff was also well mannered and well experienced. Nice place for dine in it Khar.
Sheetal Bukhara has the best butter chicken in town! Try chicken bharta if you want it spicy! Been a regular customer since ages! Never disappoints

Loved our lunch here. Real throwback place and atmosphere. From the chicken kebabs & fish kebabs (super moist) to the rumali rotis (super soft), was delighted by the meal. Thank you. Will be back when in Mumbai!

Ordered Chinese, it didn't come out good. It had an average taste and a little saltier side.

I felt like I travelled into a time capsule - loved the old feel of the place. Friends had a Malaysian Chicken which was great and paneer bhukhara and the dal Bukhara hit the spot in vegetarian

Quality of food was very good, place and ambience was very good, lot of effort is put into maintaining a good mood and low decible while you dine.
Although I was taken aback with the portions served, seemed a little less when you order 2 portions of one dish, they serve it in one bowl which look like it would accommodate 1 1/2 maybe.

When you need your drinks and have a meal, be it Indian, Mughlai or semi continental, they seem to have it covered. All the cuisines they serve are good in their way. Their butter chicken, and Dal makhani is famous. Great for big groups, open decently late too.
As a tourist i recieved excellent service and hospitality from the start, opening the door for me to serving me portions of food. Had the paneer Masada, roti and malai kulfi for dessert. Would highly recommend !
This used to be a better place. Now it is just run down. Food is not up to the mark anymore. Got stale fish and gulab jamun. Which is really not expected by the place like this

Butter chicken- yes I visit this place especially for butter chicken along with butter tandoori roti is just fantastic 😊😻
