I have been earlier at the Palladium one. This place at BKC the Ambience was Super, Food was awesome. The staff were polite and courteous but the service needs to be better. For e.g Food has arrived on the table but the plates, cutlery and napkins were missing. In such Fine dining restaurants, attention needs to be paid to these things... Overall a very good experience...
Loved the ambience. The staff was also superb. I was seated at my table with my wife and kid and immediately they saw my kid was uncomfortable and they walked up to me asked if I would like to be seated on a sofa. And they also arranged for a table with sofa for me. Coming to the food it was just too good. I had veg sushi rolls and dumplings to begin with. Then followed by pad thai. Everything was superb. Would definately again soon.
Loved the ambience, fantastic service, polite and well trained staff and best part was a separate menu for Jain's !!!
Anniversary date night well spent !!!
Great food, fantastic service, very pleasant and knowledgable staff, good bar, cool ambience, good location!
PaPaYa- Awesome place to hang out with friends and family. Must Visit:)
Love the ambience of the place. This place serves one of the best Asian Cuisine I've ever tried. The service is quite good. Would recommend y'all to visit this place.
The place here is full of Experience.
My first Sushi Experience here and I can't stress much I was wonderful.
Best for date nights and birthday anniversaries.
Staff is very courteous and the food is impeccable.
Highly Recommended for Asian Food.
Pa pa ya was a delight as we dined there with the best of our buddies and digged in some really yum food. The lotus stem crispies and sushi were my favourite.
Tried out some really good dishes. Only was disappointed with the desert, it wasn’t to out liking. Crispy lotus stem was really nice. The salad and tacos also were crunchy and delicious.
One of the best place for lunch buffet... They have lot many different varieties in non veg... I visit the place on my birthday and it was super amazing... Must try der sushi and the best part is chocolate ball... It's so yummy and very attractive.... If u rin Mumbai do visit thi place
So I had heard a lot about pa pa ya so finally decided to go .. just as I heard the ambiance is beautiful it’s sophisticated and classy.. it’s good for a family lunch or dinners as well specially if you wish to try Japanese / Asian food ..
Coming to the Food they serve both veg n non veg ..
Being a pure vegetarian it’s a bit un-comforting to have people eat non veg around you..
But coming to the taste for the vegetarian dishes here it’s just beautiful.. portion size is something they can work on but the taste is too good .. we had smoked avocado, Sizzling fried rice and valentine rolls ... each of this was just delicious ... definitely recommend specially if you wish to have Sushi / Dumplings this place is best in town for it..
Love the Asian food! One of the bests spots for Asian food in Mumbai!
One of the best place in town for high-end oriental meal. The quantity and the portions are sufficient. Gastronomical journey everyone will love.
This is a very blissful place with great ambience. Food is just delicious. Everything from the menu is just wow. Must try the chocolate ball in the dessert.
This place is located in BKC. It has a unique name, Pa Pa Ya, I really liked that. A very high class place with fancy crowd visiting more, Packed on Weekends.
Courteous Staff, great service, perfect menu, I really got impressed by looking at the interior designing, good quality food served.
There were great varieties of dishes in the menu and most of them were international dishes. Food tastes delicious and flavourful too. Some dishes which aren't served or known in any other place are served here.
Bar Counter is very attractive. Varieties of drinks and beverages are also available.
Collectively a high budget place but trust me it's worth. I swear I'll visit this place again and again.
Food: I think it’s a great place for Chinese lover.
I loved fried rice though it was little spicy but too tasty n the hot Chocolate ball was simply amazing .
I loved their presentation of dimsim though I didn’t tried sushi my friend tried it was good on her point.
Ambience:great n plesent, hygiene is maintained
Staff:little slow in service I thought .
The service is outstanding , been there n number of time but the service and food has it's standard maintained or improved
Papaya has been One of the Best and Happening Place in Bkc to spend some Good Times over a Sushi, Asian, Thai cuisine and varities of Cocktails/Mocktails to accompany with it!!. I visited here to have lunch with my friends.
So at the Earliest Moment we Begin with Cocktails such as:-
1) Love Portion:- It was an Best to begin with a Vodka Infused along with Berries and Litches presented along with the Rose on the Top was very Classy and Good To Have it!!
2) Dil Licious:- As it was their Staff suggestions ro try this Cocktails! Gin Based cocktails infused with Elder Flower , cordial , Tonic Water & Citrus was just Mind-blowing to have it along with Following Appetizers
To Accomplish Signature Cocktails, We had tried some of their following Sushi's, Dimsums, Tacos and other Cuisine:-
1) Sushi's:-
In Sushi we ordered for Prawn Tempura, that was 5-6 pcs rice coated crispy prawns sushi. It's taste was very good and presentation of same was brilliant. Spicy Tuna was our next sushi was 4 pcs tuna sushi. Tuna lovers will definitely loved it. Next was something special I felt which was Layered Sushi Pizza. You will find it quite crispy base, rice combination woth in-house sauces. I guarantee that you will definitely have a good time here with sushi at Papaya.
2) Dimsums:-
Course No 2, for us was trying Papaya's exclusive Dimsums, I had Chicken based Dimsum that was called Chicken Gyoza which was made very nicely and pan fried perfectly. Next we had Prawns and Chillies Chueng Fun. The crispy prawns wrapped inside was fabulous.
3) Tapas:-
From Tapas, I choose to go with Tacos, which I wanted to have from long time. Which I could manage to have here. Thanks to my colleagues to fullfiling same. Grilled Chicken and Avocado Tacos was our order. Trust me the three pcs tacos which was served on our table was excellent. Prefect Crispy from outside and grilled soft chicken from inside. And yes In-house sauces helped the tacos to taste way better.
4) Mains Course:-
After having Sushi, Dimsums & Tacos! It's time to moved on for some Maincourse. Following are the items which we had in our Mains Course for lunch.
1) Lamb Rendang Curry serves with Paratha
2) Braised Sliced Chicken
3) Yaki Udon Noodles Vegetables
4) Wasabi Pickled Fried Rice.
According to me Lamb Rendang Curry deserves full marks. Everyone appreciated about same. Next Having Braised Sliced Chicken with Wasabi Pickled Fried Rice and Yaki Udon Noodles was fabulous.
5) Desserts:-
Final Stage of our successful lunch was Desserts. Here we had awesome items like Vanilla PannaCota serves with Lemon Genoise and Morden Vanilla Ice-creams. Next Desserts was Aerated Chocolate, Matcha Creme Anglaise which is basically for bitter lovers and consist good amount of alcohol in it which makes this Desserts to have taste more interesting.
Overall I must say I had wonderful experience here at Papaya. My post Holi lunch here at Papaya was mind-blowing, infact my Collugue also love alot. He was like next festive lunch we need to definitely go for same at Palladium Outlet
Papaya has always been one good treat to Eye! Been a favourite destination for Pan Indian Cuisine, we got ourselves a full-fledged meal a few days back! Love how they revamp their menu every time! The place gets quite moody pst evenings! Lights are fairly dim and would remind you of tiny noodles serving stores. The ambience is soothing and there are tables for all sizes of groups! Seeing the otherwise moving roof was a slight disappointment!
What we had!
1) Amuse Bouche: The Chef's signature dish to begin with often holds an introduction to chef's culinary mastery! We were served a compressed watermelon with infused mint and a red chilli spicy foam on seashells. The palate cleanser got flavours of minty splash and fruity punch! The chilli foam spiked up the flavour.
2)Chueng Fun Rolls: A sping roll distant relative, Chueng Fun comes as a surprise to your brain! The baked to crisp rolls filled with finely diced veggies and mushrooms was topped over with soy and chilli vinaigrette, giving a soft and smooth outer surface and a crunchy texture on inside! Enjoyed every bit
3) Spicy avocado Roll: The avocado sushi rolls at Papaya have got sliced avocado in them marinated with spices. The cheesiness comes from the avocado's texture
4) Crispy Vegetable Maki Rolls: A dash of dehydrated spinach spiced with chillies and a bit of garlic is what adds a twist to the regular maki rolls!
5) Water chestnut and leeks Dimsums: water chestnut and leeks finely diced and marinated are wounded in a beetroot infused sheet made with potato starch! A wonderful dish again!
6) Bao Truffle and Mushrooms: Baos are a personal favourite and what brings bao a fantastic experience is a fact that it uses lotus flour in it. The mushrooms have a rusty taste and are slightly cheesy to give a smooth mixture! These melt amazingly
7) Shitake and Burrata Croquettes: Shitake mushrooms are scraped and filled with mashed peas and Burrata cheese. These are then bound in panko flour and then fried with tempura! The mashed peas and mushroom bring a new fusion of tastes and give their contributions to the appetizer!
8) Layered Sushi Pizza Carpaccio with zucchini: corn tarts are filled with rice and have a thinly sliced zucchini placed overtopped with sriracha mayo. This one went on to be a little too sticky. The amount of mayo can be reduced
9) Exotic Mushroom Thai chilli with Basil: With a mix of 6 species of mushroom in a gravy that is mostly sweet and has a strong after spicy taste goes well with chilli garlic fried rice! Recommended!
10) Liquid Hazelnut Fondant cake with blueberry ice cream is a lovely dessert! The matcha flavours come out strong to give a leafy taste and the liquid hazelnut pops out and swoons and completes your meal!
Papaya is the place to visit if you are around! Looking forward to their mango festival😋
1) •AERATED CHOCOLATE, MATCHA CRÈME ANGLAISE•
..
Jack Daniels & Callebaut
flavoured chocolate mousse served with crumbled chocolate on top of sweetened milk. .
Callebaut is a kind of Belgian chocolate used by gourmet and professional chefs giving it a very rich and dense flavour.
The slight bitterness of the chocolate mousse goes perfectly with the sweetness of the crumbled chocolate. 🍫
This was heavenly 😍 must try!!
-Cost: Rs. 755
.
.
2) •EBI TEMPURA•
.
Your classic prawn tempura sushi drizzled with spicy mayo and served with ginger and wasabi! 🍣🍣
Cost- Rs 715.
..

Very good suberb outstanding fantastic experience enjoyable very good sophisticated service delicious and scrumptious food
Even a wooden surface is pretty reflective if it’s polished well.... #philosophical 😱
If someone tells you that you haven’t framed a picture well enough, but it tells the story that you want to tell.... Just stick to your ideas. A story matters more than some technicality.

@papaya_asian is among the places with the best ambience, no matter which branch you visit. And the food, of course... 😍😍

Incredibly good food, and ambiance. Very happy to have found this gem. Would highly recommend the pork belly starter, baos and peanut crusted fish!
Props to Rishab for the great service. Some of the other staff could have been more friendly however.
Lovely ambience and amazing food 👍🏻
Papaya Mumbai is a fine dining place with great tasting food, nice ambience and cordial staff. Overall a nice way to spend an evening.
Awesome choices in Sushi! We never made it to the main course since there were so many choices to choose from! The ambience and the service is on point.

A great delight for all those who like Asian cuisine. The service is commendable
Excellent food with great service
Amazing spread with authentic Chinese food. Lovely ambience and ever penny is worth the food they serve. In love with their desserts menu coz you just can't get over with the taste that melts in your mouth. I am going to visit again!!!
Shout out to this resto! The lotus stem chips glazed sweet chilli sauce is ultimate! Love their different variation in momos and dimsums. Nice place to enjoy Asian and oriental food.
A good place to dine .... A separate Jain Menu which makes it a Must Go for Jain Foodies.... A very knowledgeable Staff... Kudos to Mr. Kumar who was well aware and well versed with the perfect know how of the ingredients and the usage.... Presentation of the Food was as good as the taste.... The Mochi ice cream was worth the try...

A Place which can surely be Recommended....
For Saturday dinner we planned to visit Pa Pa Ya. Talking about the Location of the restaurant is placed in commercial area and compound, its a good place. We entered the restaurant requested the staff to give us sofa sitting, very humble and welcoming staff.
Talking about food:
Welcoming shot was presented, with Chinese taste and a piece of water melon, we liked it the way it was presented.
Ordered for vegetarian meal:
Sushi: crispy vegetable maki, dehydrated spinach
Tapas: Crispy Lotus Stem
Main course: Phad Noddles
Quantity, quality, taste of the food was delicious. We loved and enjoyed our meal.
Most importantly, the sever helped me selecting me options and suggested me by good choice.
I would definitely visit next time again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pa Pa Ya, an upscale Asian fusion restaurant located in the heart of the city. Known for its inventive dishes and modern take on traditional Asian cuisine, Pa Pa Ya promised a unique dining experience. I went in with high expectations, and for the most part, I was not disappointed.
Ambiance
The restaurant's interior design is truly remarkable. With its contemporary and chic decor, Pa Pa Ya creates an upscale yet relaxed atmosphere. The dimly lit dining area and the subtle use of Asian-themed art and artifacts set the perfect mood for an enjoyable evening.
.
Sushi
We started with the sushi, and it was an absolute delight. The presentation was exquisite, and the flavors were a unique blend of traditional and modern. The freshness of the fish was evident, and the rolls were beautifully crafted
Gyoza
The gyoza was great with very good stuffing . They were well-cooked and had a crispy bottom.
Nasi Goreng
The Nasi Goreng was a delicious representation of Indonesian fried rice. It had a well-balanced blend of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors. The accompanying prawns were perfectly cooked, and the dish was generously portioned. If you enjoy Indonesian cuisine, this is a must-try.
Overall, Pa Pa Ya offers a memorable dining experience with its innovative take on Asian cuisine. The sushi and Nasi Goreng were definite highlights, and I would recommend trying those dishes. While the service had its minor flaws, the ambiance and the quality of the food more than made up for it. If you're looking for a fusion of Asian flavors in a stylish setting, Pa Pa Ya is worth a visit.
I visited this restaurant, The service was quick. The food was good. The ambience was really nice. Slightly overpriced but food was tasty.
I tried Veg Dumpling over here, they were soft & juicy. Pineapple passion drink was just like canned juice nothing special about it. The tacos were really nice. Sushi was good. The banana stem starter was too sweet.
For the main course we ordered Thai curry & rice, & noodles with chicken gravy.
For dessert we ordered chocolate fire ball & biscoff cheesecake. The chocolate fire ball was too sweet with very little brownie in it & the ice cream was flaky, so not worth the price. Cheesecake was also not great.
1st visit in Apr'22.. Not enough stars to rate the place. Its an outstanding restaurant, sure its pricey, maybe that's the only reason for docking the stars, giving it an average rating of 4.3. Anything less than 4.9 is incomprehensible, as their service is super fast, the quantity of food for any dish is more than sufficient and the best part that I liked about this place is how much they value the visual appeal of the food. The food art is off the charts. The taste, quality, ambience everything was superawesome. Must must go.
Edit: Visited here a 2nd time in Sep'23, found a bit of a lag in serving food. Waiting time after order was really long this time. But the food was fantastic as expected.
Pa Pa Ya is an unmissable spot for Asian food!
Serves not just delectable Uramakis and Udon, but also amazing Tapas.
I frequent this establishment for their amazing sushis! 10/10 recommended
A great fine dine Asian restaurant with luscious food, calm and composed interiors, a little pricey but worth the experience.
The food was awesome. We enjoyed the seafood soup, prawn dimsum, chicken sushi, fried lotus stems, thai green chicken curry and sticky rice. The dessert selection was delicious with variety of ice creams, sizzling chocolate lava and cheese cake.
The quality of the food was very good and justifies the price. The service of the place is also very good and the staff are really friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.
Visited this place on 7th March 23 for lunch. Place was quite empty when I reached.
Ambiance is very decent and nicely made. Bar was made very beutiful.they play good music too which make things much better !!!
Food was amazing so do service & presentation for food drink.
Anytime I will highly recommend this place to go for lunch or dinner or just for drinks in the evening anytime worth it.
I have order
Laksa Veg soup
Crispy veg maki dehydrated spinach
Truffle mushroom crem cheese dimsim
Edamame & Asparagus dimsim
Liquid hazelnut fondant cake
Exotica & Thirsty Ride drinks
Eveything was great in taste.
The flavors of the dishes were simply divine and each dish was a novel experience.
The ambiance of the restaurant was also very charming and added to the overall experience.
The friendly staff and fast service only further cemented my positive experience.
All in all, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable culinary journey.
Food was pretty decent considering the price. The Dragon Roll which is their take on Prawn Tempura sushi with avocado is a must try. The grilled salmon was pretty good and so was 'Exotic' the mocktail we ordered. But the Nasi Goreng was just average especially considering the cost. The service could have been better, had to wait for a table even with reservation which was disappointing and even after ordering before being seated it took a lot of time for the food to be served but the restaurant was packed so I can't complain much about it. It's a pretty decent experience if you are looking for good Asian food but if you are going for the whole Asian restaurant experience then I would avoid it since there are many better in town.
You need to book a table before you go.
Enjoyed sushi a lot.. even kids enjoyed soup and noodles. We had ordered vegetarian food. Sushi and Momos was just too good. We loved them and even enjoyed rice with veg gravy.
After hearing a lot about Pa Pa Ya, my wife and I decided to try it for our anniversary dinner. The cocktails were amazing and perfectly mixed. The sushi, laksa and pork belly were delicious. Most of all we would like to share that it was because of their amazing staff (Prahlad in particular), who took the time to talk to us and understand our tastes and then recommend dishes to order, that lead us to have an overall amazing experience at Pa Pa Ya. Would definitely be coming here again and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone reading this review.
A fusion restaurant with energetic Ambience. Amicable, accommodating and warm hospitality from the crew. The team cares to ensure that it’s a dining experience to cherish. +1.
Amazing food! Portion size might seem less but taste was exquisite. We ordered the Chicken Gyoza dimsums, Cantonese soup and Hor Fun noodles with shrimp and squid. Service was great especially by Mahipal. He was very polite. Ambience is also great. Overall fantastic experience.
