Went there to attend a live music gig. Amazing performance and experience. It was the best. I also liked the food very much. Pizza and naan bombs filled with chiken gravy. Little messy to eat but yummy.
This place has a retro vibe. When we went, there was a Jazz Karaok Night going on. The place was crowded and vibrant. We had a great time.

Being a regular restaurant reviewer, it often falls upon me to find and fix a place for meetups, and this time it was no different. Door No. 1 was on my list for a while, and that's where I reserved our table, the booking process being hiccup free. We arrived to what is a tiny place, dimly lit, and a group of performers belting out loud music. I was not aware of live performances being held here, else I would've chosen some other eatery, not being a fan of loud places. However, if you are the kind of person who enjoys live music, then this place will rock for you. We could barely hold any conversation, the singing overpowering any words we spoke, so our ordering and eating was quite quick. For drinks we had White Mischief, which was easy on the pocket thanks to the happy hours, and Virgin Mojito. The mocktail was standard, a little less mint would've been nicer. For starters we had French Fries, Beer Batter Fish Fingers and Caesar's Salad. The fries were the first to be served, turning out to be good, like any other fries. The fish and the salad were up next, and both were quite good. The fish did not smell, though was a touch too oily, while the salad had a nice dressing so didn't feel dry at all. Our next orders were Lahori Paneer Tikka, Cheese Corn Balls and Sauted Vegetables. The paneer was delicious, the veggies didn't disappoint either, but what truly stood out were the balls. Super cheesy, yummy corn, crispy crust, I highly recommend them. For mains we opted for Italian, a pasta and a pizza. Penne Alfredo arrived first, and was the only real letdown of the night, being quite bland and not cheesy/saucy enough. Margherita pizza was much better, the bread wasn't too thick or stiff, had loads of cheese so our taste buds had a good time. With that we wrapped up our meal and stepped out, our eardrums thanking us for the relief at last. To sum up then, Door No. 1 is truly a place to be at if you enjoy your music, karaoke and so forth. Food wise it gets most things right, the service is also is good, no complaints there. For people like me who like to have a quieter, relaxed chat, coming here during lunch hours is perhaps a better proposition.
Nice place in Bandra with retro songs. The place is full of life with the locals jiving. The cocktails are nice. However, very difficult to get a table here. Love the vibe of this place though.
Ask for shakib for some great service. Also- one of the best espresso martinis in the city.

The ambience is great. We went on a Monday night, they had this Karoke night. They asked audience for their request and played songs accordingly.
Food is good. we had ordered for pita bread with Hummus, Paneer Tikka Masala Messy Naan, cheese corn balls, Peanut Masala and Chana Jor Garam. Every thing was tasty.
Its a must visit place and will surly visit again. This place is not very expensive and they have really good offers on drinks as well.
Perfect cozy place with good music and dim lights , excellent service and awesome management. Good use of technology too , easy to call our for waiters. Thumbs up 😊

Had an amazing evening at door no.1 which has a courteous staff who are at your service when needed and with amazing music while you enjoy your drinks and also have a screening of sports. Let's directly jump onto the food ,we ordered the fries with a glass of red wine and one of white wine,the fries were crisp without being too oily and enjoyable to have with drinks. The wines were worth trying if a wine lover but it's not the best wine obviously as it was provided in happy hour but still worth trying. Then came the chilly Chicken and it let me tell you,it's recommended that you try it as it contains soft pieces of chicken with the perfect blend of spices and sauces and Amazing to have. Also worth trying is the pasta ,we had the penne arrabbiata with Chicken.

Visited this place on a weekday for dinner and it was pretty crowded and even though it was crowded their service was so quick was quite impressed by that.
Also talking about food they have this amazing offer of Rs. 99/- Happy Hours on food and drinks and I am fan of it. We had wines, french fries, Chilly Chicken, Chicken penne arrabiata pasta. It all taste good also the quality of the food was nice.
This place is very small so the seats are closed to each other but it looked decent with the live screening and amazing music playing around it's beautiful.
I was happy with my experience here and will definitely visit again!

I’m big fan of the ambiance and I really like this place, very comfortable and lovely aura.
I like going to such places, I really had nice date, vibes were so good. I really like the food as well.
Visited Door No. 1 after work to catch up with a set of friends on a Friday evening. We were treated with some good retro music which was unlike the regular Bollywood music that is played on a Friday evening. Ambience was nice as well for a small place.
We tried Paneer Sholay Kebab which was good to taste. The crispness of Paneer and proportion of masala was perfect. Paneer steak with mushroom sauce was a typical European style dish which was served with mashed potatoes and some veggies. The taste was good (You will like if you like a little bland food), Farm Fresh pizza and paneer tikka pizza were delicious as well. Garlic bread with cheese and Fried corn flake chicken were the other add-ons that we ordered. The food quality was nice overall. A few dishes were a little overpriced. Like to mention our server Sahu who was very prompt with the service.
Recommend this place if you want to have a good time with your friends or if you want to enjoy a musical evening with your partners.

Went here with a bunch of friends on a Saturday night. We tried the mushroom chili & chicken chili - both pretty good Chinese flavors with crunchy onion, capsicum & chillies. We then ordered the Chicken Tikka square pizza. This one was pretty good.. packed with flavor.
Ambience wise, I felt it looked much fancier from outside than inside. There was ample seating, a tad bit too dark but good vibe. Not too crowded inspite of being a Saturday, which was a pleasant relief. The service could have been a bit better - we really had to struggle to get our server's attention, asked multiple times for cutlery or water.
One of my favourite hang out place with my friends and colleagues. It’s very cosy and service is prompt too. If you are a Bollywood person, drop by Thursday and your day will be lighted up with all soothing songs of Bollywood. Happy hour needs to include Beer too and guys please include some desert in your menu. I am not a pasta person but pasta with pesto sauce is my favourite only here. It’s recommended to have a prior reservation as the place is always crowded( even on weekdays). Manager including the staff is really helpful and prompt. Thank you guys and keep rocking !!!

The food’s good and they have offers that can work well for some. It’s a little den with a variety of crowd, great music and good food!
I went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. Luckily it was a Tuesday and they have a live music every tuesday. I called up the team a week prior and booked my table. I asked if they can decorate my table, they refused but allowed me to decorate it myself which I really liked.
By the time I with my wife reached, my table was well decorated as I asked my parents to reach 15 mins prior and decorate it for us.
The live music started at sharp 9.30, I asked the singer to dedicate a song to my wife and he sweetly dedicated a song to her which she loved. The singer was very nice and was singing melodious. Rather to say the whole band was very professional.
We orderd pizza, pasta, a few starters and mocktails.
The food was very nice and tasty.
Overall I rate this restaurant 5* as they allow you to customise the things according to you, they help you to make your day special, plus a yummy food and a lively environment on a working day.
What an absolutely lovely place! We went here on a Sunday evening. And at 6 pm, the place had already started filling up for open mic and we were treated to some lovely live music, great food and awesome cocktails.
The energy of the place is fabulous! It's warm and full of life.
But what took the cake was the service. Even though the place was packed, the staff never faltered. They were friendly, well informed and efficient. It's a must visit. So go for it!

After hearing so much about this place, I decided to give it a try. The place is totally lit with a Free Wifi, Games, and great music. They have a series of events almost all week long like thursday, a Retro Bollywood Night in Mumbai, Friday and Saturday, a Retro English Night. They apparently have an all day happy hour on Sunday and even a jam fest and a kareoke. The vibe and feel of the place is amazing and the best part is it's super cheap.

Went for the first time and didn't disappoint at all. Great food, drinks, ambience though serving can be but slow on very busy weekends but the dance floor with DJ playing mainly 80s 90s songs is so nostalgic. Totally worth every penny.

I did not know this when I dropped by for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The and started playing around 9 and I had an early dinner but ended up staying there listening to the music.
The food there was mildly spiced and the flavor of the meat came through in every bite.
I had the Mahim mutton curry with rice. The curry had an interesting flavor profile and the flavoured rice helped carry all the subtle flavors onto my palate.
This was washed down with fresh lime soda.
I think that they get different artists everyday. Overall an interesting space and definitely worth a visit (or 2 or 3...)
It's an amazing place. Especially their starters and bucket offers they are superb, One should go and visit on weekend. Their staff is well maintained you can book the table earlier if you are going in a group.
Approx cost of 10 people is nearly around 4-5k depending what you order.

(3)vishesh's faux pas : name of this dish may be different but this dish is our favorite chicken mancurian with tandoori rooti😋 , the taste was really good and gravy was just amazing.
(4) prawns koliwada: it's a fried prawns marinate in masala , the taste was very simple and one bite food , it's taste more good when you eat with drinks

(5) chicken masala messy naan: one of the best dish of this restaurant 😉 I highly recommend this dish to everyone, it's a tandoori roti stuff with chicken masala and not only that it has a cheese twist , you will definitely like it.

Chicken curry and steam rice , chicken curry was really good I just can stop myself eating it.
The gravy of this curry was delicious not very spicy and perfect in taste ❤️

Door No1 is a pretty place in bkc. We had a great time chillig there.
The ambience is chic and nice .
The staff is average. They are not that welcoming.
Cost would be around Rs1400 for two
They do have music and also host events occasionally.
Food was decent too.
I would have given it a 3.5 rating had there been an option but since there was'nt, we are rounding it up
So lets get to what we tried.
Chilly cheese toast - It was great . I loved the molten cheese and spices. It was toasted well.
Next up, we had wild mushroom pizza. It was roasted well. However we would have liked had there been more mushrooms and they would have been charred. But we still liked it.
Lets go to the cocktails!
This is the place that you would go usually when you are in the mood to chill or just catch up after a day of work on beer and drinks.
We called for : orange door : This one had a very citrus feeling to it. I liked the elements in this drink.
Then we called for inner peace. This one is a bit strong and preferred for those who like that taste.
Guava Spice was a mocktail. It is a mocktail that I have had various places and like it due to its tanginess.
