Tomato Soup: It was not too thick like most of the restaurants and was topped with some butter. It was extremely rich in taste was one of the best that I have had. The croutons were served separately in a small bowl and the quantity was also excellent. #Highlyrecommended
Butter Chicken: We opted for butter chicken, this was a very different preparation than what I have had at many places. It had char grilled chicken tandoori pieces in thick masala, there was no gravy or any traces of cream in it. I would definitely not call this as a butter chicken Or May be i have never eaten butter chicken prepared with this style however the preparation was excellent in taste. The quantity of this dish is sufficient for 2-3 people
We tried Garlic naan and roti along with the butter chicken both were also nicely done.
Overall: Service was prompt and restaurant was hygienic. The staff was extremely polite, well trained and friendly. Special mention to the service part. They serve various pickles along with the main course which were superb in taste. Food quality was excellent. We paid around 810 for the above meal which was slightly higher.(Bill attached)

This is one of my fav places at vashi for a perfect family dinner spot.
The biryanis are really good, do try. Also the chicken starters like chicken satay, dilkhush kabab and chicken kalimirch tikka are really worth trying.
Overall a really good place to visit.
I had crispy vegetable and chicken in barbecue sauce as starter and everything tasted excellent. Had goan fish curry with roti as main course. Taste was good,not bad for a punjabi restaurant. Friendly staff and great ambiance. 4 โญ๏ธ๐

This place was on my must-visit list for a long time and I must admit that the wait was worth it. We went here for my husband's birthday lunch.
We ordered a cocktail, Urban Atheist (vodka, kaafir lime leaves and orange juice) and a mocktail Strawberry Lemonade, both of this were good. For starter we got Paneer jallandar kabab which came garnished in cute kullads.
Dum alu Punjabi and tandoori roti was our main course. We had heard that this place serves awesome Biryani and we weren't going to miss it. Veg Biryani had subtle but perfect taste. We had other plans for dessert so skipped it here.
The prices are slightly high but the food warrants it. Lovely place to visit with family!

Overall the experience was amazing. The food was upto the mark especially the dessert. One must try this place. If you are a typical non vegetarian then this restaurant should be there on their visit list.

the ambience of the place is not that great and seems like an average restaurant but the food is worth it...
Although its a bit on the expensive side but the food does the justification... makke ki roti and sarso da saag is winter's favourite and we too had it... it was amazing and seemed like we r eating the food in punjab itself... we had dal, butter naan and sizzling brownie but the star was makke ki roti and sarso da saag...

Have been to this restaurant a few times over the years but my mother orders for us from here very often. It's a spacious two-levelled space. Has grown over the years. Many locals like it, others not so much since there have been cribs that the quality has deteriorated over the years.
For me, the gripe is not so much quality, as are the price points. Way higher compared to several other cheaper options which are just as good.
The restaurant itself is pleasant, the ambience is nice. Some of the staff is knowledgeable, the others not so much. It's located in a prime area of Vashi since many years now and still holds it's own against the competition.
The food I do still like. My family too. Be it their Chinese or Indian ones. Of course, there are many other better options you'd find in Vashi. But Golden Punjab is still decent.
The dishes we order often are khichdi, different biryanis, boondi raita, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, alu paratha, butter naan, chicken and mutton seekh kababs, chicken lollypop, cream of chicken soup (which my neighbour's kids love). And me too ๐
We have also tried their crunchy chicken which is nice, their chicken spring rolls are comfort food, the fish fingers are crunchy. They have lovely golden fried prawns and a robust prawns hot garlic.
I also like their American and Chinese chop suey dishes. I am not sure if it's authentic but I enjoy it. My mother cringes seeing me enjoy it ๐Yes, some people find chop suey bland but I like bland stuff too.
Have tried their fish salt n pepper which I did not care for much. The taste wasn't what I was expecting. It was off. So it was a one-time order.
Ordered in the mushroom platter once. 6 different kinds of mushrooms in various sauces and various levels of spice. I love mushrooms but this platter didn't do it for me. It was ho-hum.
In mains, you'd find a whole range of foods in a sauce of your choice. 11, to be precise. Butter garlic and oyster are popular among these.
Good selection of fried rice, noodles, biryanis and kababs. Try the achari kabab. You would like it. I also liked their mutton chops, the one time that I tried it.
Their portions are always good and filling and they offer a 10% off on home delivery which works out well. We usually get good service. We are regulars and they know us.
It's a decent albeit pricey restaurant for locals or anyone else whose in the area, to sample. Doesn't deserve a trip across the city to eat here though.
This restaurant has been around forever and I've been eating here for ages. Their service and quality of food has never deteriorated. The kebabs here are to die for. I always order the chicken cripsy here and it is absolutely delicious everytime!

It is one of my favourite restaurant whenever i feel to eat non-veg. All the items in menu is good, let it be starters, main course, dessert. You can munch on peanuts they provide๐. Ambience is quite good. Pomfret tawa fry, chicken satay, chicken masala is recommended. ๐ Serving quantity is also good and is in budget. Veg menu also seems delicious and mouth watering. This is one of those places I never thought I would like but I ended up falling in loveโค๏ธ Had the best Butter Naan and Mutton Keema of my entire life at this place! My parents also swore by their Chicken Handi. We also had some Chinese like the Chilli Garlic Noodles and Fish in Oyster Sauce which were delicious and extremely spicy as well. But of course, since it's a Punjabi restaurant, I would love to try more of the North Indian cuisine even though the Chinese was so good.
The ambience is decent enough and the service is great. The costs are a bit steep but definitely worth the money!

The food is tasty and gives u the authentic flavour.main course we had methiMatarMALAI and butter Roti. The rotis could have been better(too stiff). Ur safest bet if u r considering this place, is starters. Main course can be better. Ambience is good, staff courteous. But on busy days they may run u late. Is TOO PRICEY compared to other restaurants of the same club,other places offer same ambience taste and service at a better price point,

This a go to place for a quite ambience with a family type atmosphere around. My most favourite thing here is the mutton keema which is always cooked to perfection and it's always juicy, the reshmi kabab is always a delite to your pallet cooked to perfection and just melts in your mouth. It stays true to its states ethnicity cause the butter chicken is the dish I always end up eating!. Overall a must go to joint the -1 is only because it's not a place that is light on your pockets!.

Food is tasty, ambience is quiet simple and good. Service levels are high. Food is priced on a higher side but its worth the experience. The taste lingers on your tongue for a while. Makki Roti with home made ghee and gud is heavenly. Must try. Jalandhar paneer kabab is also a must try. Fruit punch is good for me but some may find it a bit sweeter.
It is a good place for North Indian food lovers in Vashi. Though not a new restaurant, it gives perfect vibes of a proper family restaurant with drinks. We tried minestrone soup and paneer kofta. Really nice taste and the quantity is also good.

We visited this place for the first time after COVID restrictions lifted. While they were always a preferred choice for our family for more than a decade, the post COVID experience was all the more better. Mr. Malik and Mr. Sadanand served us with a smile on their faces even when we were their last customer. We thoroughly enjoyed the suggestions given by them. It's said that the service guys should be so aptly present that the guests feel comfortable yet not too close allow the guests privacy - Mr. Sadanand did just that and we were thrilled with his service. This hotel has the most eye-catching and tastiest variety of pickles I have ever had in all over India. Paneer Jalandhar was another surprise suggested by Mr. Malik and we are glad we tried it The quantity and quality of main course justifies the cost.
Overall, I will definitely revisit this place as and when I get a chance.

Yummy North Indian cuisine and very good staff. They do have other cuisine like Chinese, but I prefer their North Indian dishes. The staff are really good that you can blindly trust them for recommendations, if you are not sure what to order. One Mr. Tandon was very helpful for me. They also serve liquor.
