One if the most chilled out place to hang out and read a comic book or any other .. Food is good too especially if u r a non veg.. Choices for vegetarians are limited .
One of the best places around Mumbai is Leaping Windows. This place is located in versova and has a very beautiful ambience. If you are a book lover this place is the best for you. They have many books to read and have damn tasty food around. Also the food here is nice and the service is fast as well as good.
I've tried Nachos here which were too yummy. Also the quantity is enough for two people. Prices are a bit high. Ambience is quiet good. They have indoor as well as outdoor sitting arrangements.
Must check out this place.
amazing place with an amazing ambience.. good food.. variety of menu.. the quantity is also nice.. there irish coffee is really nice.. must visit..
Went with few Friends A Nice cozy place.. Really Liked the Ambience.. The Food was quite good too.. Loved the irish Coffee. Good Place to visit.. The Price was Also not that much.. And they took Zomato gold too... :D
Everytime I go here, I promise myself that I won't just have the Nutella pancake, but before I know it, I have ordered it, eaten all of it, hate myself because of how much I ate, but love the effing pancake. Literally never tried anything else there because the pancake steals me everytime :D.
Ambiance and the comic book vibe is pretty awesome as well.

Good place where food meets colours
Fancy and attractive stuff.
Good place super crowd and very well menu planned.
Ig you are in a date take here to this place.
This is a gem hidden deep in Versova glad to find it, the book café which is legit the coziest and the most pretty i have visited till now, it is like a heaven for book readers.
Apart from the cute great place the food is also amazing the crispy onion rings, the pizza, the wedges, the cheese filled patty, the naughty nutella pancakes and the best sinful hot chocolate with marshmallow just sums up the soul.
The variety of books to read hot chocolate to sip and great munchies I don't need anything further.
Overall great food, positive vibes, and a whole lot bunch of books to read so yessss it is a must visit especially for those who love to read💫
Just wow. I love this place alot this place is soo good. I used to go out at this place alot. The food is awesome the ambience is just amazing and it's a huge place. It's near versova also near from andheri. Staff is also very good and service is also fast. They have very good food
So we ordered for,
1. Hot chocolate which I loved it totally.
2 . Onion rings they were so crispy gotta try them
3.pizza it was just amazing and yummy nd so cheesy cant wait to have it again
4. Nutella pancakes they were just wow, lipsmacking, so chocolatey and soft. Mist must must try this pancakes and hot chocolate
Overall this place is heaven for book readers. Love it. Food service everything's good. Must visit.
A nice place to chill with friends. Food is really tasty
In frame- potato wedges and nachos with a lot of toppings.
Loved the food highly recommend
If you are a comic book fan, Leaping Windows is a 'must visit' cafe for you!
The menu is a mix of continental, European and American.
My Favourite:
1) Salted Caramel Cappuccino - Rich creamy and deliciously flavoured cappuccino. A true delight for the sweet and salty cappuccino lovers!
2) Hot chocolate - Deep, rich, chocolaty, comforting and sinfully delicious.😍😇
3)Buffalo Soldier - grilled steak served with mushroom sauce, french beans and mashed potatoes. 🤤
4)Sweet Potato Fries🍟 - sweet & salty, perfectly fried, nicely seasoned and tastes absolutely DELICIOUS, served with mayo chilli dip.
Love it! Just love everything about this place. The food, the ambience, the crowd, everything. Its a very small place in the interiors of Versova which makes it really hard to find, but hey what ate google maps for. This being a small place, you might end up getting a seat outdoor which i personally did not like muchso try and make reservations. They have an awesome library downstairs in their basement where you can probably sit for hours reading through their awesome collection of books and comics, but you will have to pay a minimal amount on an hourly basis. All and all its an awesome place and a must go to
Just have no words to describe this place s just awesome the food is just wow had ordered chicken minced nachos and Franklin burger just loved it must try this palce highly recommended
An amazing place to eat and chill. What an ambience!!! I loved the ambience more than the food. So I went there for a Saturday brunch. I ordered a Chicken Full house for breakfast and in Mains I asked for Charles Chicken. I asked for Sunny side up eggs. Eggs were fabulous. The chicken sausages were delicious. Charles chicken=Sphagetti with Bolognese sauce chicken was something different. And I would recommend everyone to try it. It has tangy and spicy minced chicken in it. Also, if you are a comic lover or a reader for that matter. This place can surely become your reading den!! They charge only 50rs per hour for reading. Price is a bit on the expensive side. But it surely justifies with it's ambience, something different to offer than the normal cafes.
Leaping Windows is one of my favorite breakfast places in Mumbai. The ambience, vibe and locality everything is refreshing.
The food quality totally lives up to the hype. The best part is some of the food items on the menu are customizable. So, I tried Lay your own eggs and Rooting your sandwich, both customizable. And teamed with Classic Cappuccino, which was decent not too great.
But all in all, this place is a must-try. You can sit, chill and work. Nobody disturbs your vibe, as this place is usually quite peaceful.
There was too much of non vegetarian food served, which was unappetizing for me as I am a pure vegetarian.
Beautiful and a cosy place to hang around especially in their comic station where you have access to this amazing collection of comics and other books as well. Super fun to be here on a rainy day given its structure and ambience all together.
Coming to the more important part, i.e. food.
Had a killer deep fried chicken burger and chicken skewers and a lovely moonshine beer to gulp all of it down.
They have a lot of options to choose from for burgers so you might wanna have to come back here multiple times just to have all their options and everyone is unique to taste.
Food - 4/5
Beer - 4/5
Price - 3/5 ( it is a bit on the steeper side)
But over all a great place to be with your friends and hangout or even for a nice quality time with your partner/date 😉
If you like to read books, comics, etc this place is perfect for you.
You could stay there forever and read books to have some alone time. They take charges according to per hour in the library. You could bring ur coffee or anything to eat in the library. There are couch present for people to completely relax and read. At every place present where you can read there is a ample amount of light present.
While reading I ordered a coffee which they brought downstairs which make us not to get ourselves and getting disturbed.
The place is a good place to for a small get together with friends.
The only problem was that they don't notice what time you entered the library so It was difficult for us to give how much amount to give.

If you are in and around Versova, this is a must place to visit! It's a perfect breakfast place to go to where they also have a small library at the basement!
If you are book lover, you will love this place!
The Aztec cold coffee here is to die for. It is absolutely brilliant.
The Nutella pancake is also something you can try if you are a fan! Nice fluffy and warm pancakes is all you need.
The 'make your own omlette' is also good if you are an egg lover.
Do not miss out on this place! ❤
Blissful place! Went last Monday afternoon with a friend as I was in Bombay and living near by....my teen neice suggested this place and I rey have no regrets! We had tea coffee and some snacks! Food is good like any other cafe. But the ambiance and service is awesome
You can sit here for hours and chill!
Also if u are lucky you will be able to spot celebs as it is a famous place to hangout for them too!
What can I sah about this place? It takes you back to the hills! No literally, the feel of the place, the well mannered staff and the corner where it's located makes sure the place stays extremely windy all the time. Their menu is something, I'm sure, most of the people haven't tried so anything you order would be much of a surprise. Their coffees and shakes too, it's absolutely delicious. The main attraction however is a comic cellar they have which has an idiocyncratic collection of comics which is hard to find elsewhere! 50₹ for an hour and trust me you'd take a lot more to come out of it. They take all sorts of payments which makes it even easier foe one to just land there after an evening run or something. The crowd is always beautiful! They have a lot of sessions happening which includes stand up nights and acting workshops! I suggest everyone in a 10 kms radius should definitely visit them atleast once! The pictures are of their beautiful menu! Also they have a lot of books available just for 100 bucks and the money the earn is later sent to charity. Win win :D
This place is in Yari Road. They have lot of healthy food options to choose from. I ordered Happy Gilmore burger. It is quite a big and juicy burger. One needs to have an appetite to finish one burger by themselves.I love to go here all by myself, order a cup of coffee and just browse through some comics. There are lot of comics at the underground section to browse from. It’s a great comic themed cafe
1. The most perfectly fried, puffed up , seasoned and complimented with the absolutely delightful inhouse mayo chilli dip - were the gorgeously and crunchy crisp sweet potato fries.
2. This followed by their delish succulent Chicken Skewers with a cilantro marinade, garnished with crisp fried onion, and lime - lip-smacking delish !
They do not have a lot of mocktail options, the ice tea i had was very average.
The Signature Karage crispy chicken i had from their table menu turned out to be very crisp but sadly absorbed so much oil that its all i could taste.
Certainly look forward to visiting and chilling in their library section with a cup of coffee or maybe visit again for a good breakfast!
This is one of the coolest and innovative place in Versova, where you can sit ,read (manga comics )and have cool American style food.
The staff seemed happy and genuinely interested in making the customers visit a good one!!!
We ordered potato wedges, sweet potato fries and grilled chicken subs.(food was slightly greasy)
Also why did they stop serving their amazing french toast??😭
This comic interior cafe is so cool! Been here once only! Couldn’t get over the interiors. Can’t remember what I ate. But would have the pasta I guess!
Have never been to such a crazy cafe before. By crazy I mean the good crazy. The food over is here totally worth it especially the burgers and the ice tea. And the ambience is mind blowing. The cherry on the cake is the basement area. It has all those amazing comics which you can sit and read for hours.
Leaping windows is located in Versova . Different concept they have inside this cute place . Hazelnut cappuccino is really strong , nice and distressing .
Peri peri chicken wings had a nice spice on it and soft in texture.
We had ordered couple of other dishes which was tasty as well.
Ambience is cute here ,staff very friendly as well.
Leaping Windows located in Andheri is a cozy place for caffeine and book lovers. So if you are a person who can spend the entire day with coffee and books this is the place for you. Pancakes are a must try over anything else if you are visiting here for the first time
You definitely should not miss on Cajun Chicken Burger, Nutella Stuffed Pancake, and cinnamon
coffee. Also, the place has amazing service. So Leaping windows would be the perfect place for a comic lover looking for breakfast and coffee date place

Versova is a part of Bombay that holds a special place in my heart, and so I find myself trying out places there fairly often. Leaping Windows is one such example. The food is lovely, but even better is what lies beneath the premises. Down in the basement is this fabulous comic book library. And when I say comics, I mean proper graphic novels. They've got everything from more mainstream Asterix and Tintin; to more heavy material like Genshiken, Vampire Night, B.O.D.Y, Hana Kimi, Akira, Oshinbo, Bakuman...the list is endless! They even took me back down memory lane with Lucky Luke! It's ₹50 an hour, or you can subscribe long term, if you live in the area. Such a fun find, this was...
Leaping windows is one of the best cafe I have visited. I like the flavour of coffee more than any other dishes here. But also the burger, hot chocolate, nachos and waffles are awesome here.
Ambience and the place is cozy. And also the staff is friendly to the customers. And also prompt service is available. The order time is efficient and the behavior of the staff is well mannered
Must visit this place atleat once in a lifetime mostly for couples
Thank you🤗
For an avid reader and a super hero fan, I have found a treasure chest! Right from first edition comics and books, this place is equiped with lip smacking food. The chicken buffalo wings are my favorite. The watermelon juice is for sure refreshing and a great companion in the library! The 18% GST rate burried in small letters is the only complaint I might have.

Amazing place. It grows in you over two to three visits. The menu is very limited but extremely well crafted. The deserts are something to die for. Try their hand crafted beers... Especially the lavender and smoked... And if you are a fan of comics, hit their basement for a delightful experience. That's was the surprise!
Small little Cafe in Yari road, Versova. Very tastefully done up! You have a choice of outdoor or indoor seating.
Though the menu is not extensive but they serve excellent food, I have never been disopointed. I love one perticuller beer they serve here it's called Dark Matter, it's slightly on a sweeter side but I really enjoy the taste. The service is super as well.
You can even become a member and read books at the cafe. I think they charge a nominal fee per hour.
Parking can be a bit of problem around that area though!
If you’re looking to find a place to let the comic buff in you come out, THIS IS YOUR PLACE: Leaping Window, Andheri, Mumbai
@leapingwindows
What more can a comic book fan dream of? Food that takes you into another fantasy world with all your favourite Japanese mangas!
I love the concept of leaping windows which aims to combine the boundaries between a dining out experience and a place to just loose yourself from reality and read in peace.
This tiny place located in a quiet corner in Andheri is like a hidden gem.
Walk into the restaurant and instantly connect with the cool vibes coming from its funky ambience. Find a cozy spot for yourself and indulge in absolute food of the gods that literally melt in your mouth and make you happy high.
But that’s not all, walk into the basement and watch your absolute fantasy come true! Shelves and shelves of mangas and comic books (including special edition features) to read from!
They have a special membership that you can choose according to the time you have but be rest assured that this place will be pulling you back for more and more.
I wouldn’t just say recommended, it’s highly recommended!!
Go have fun!! 😀
Had been to this place for breakfast this morning.
Amazing place, delicious food, value for money, very friendly staff.
Ambience was very peaceful with touch of comic books all over the place.
Absolutely Recommended!!!
Coolest place for anime and art lovers. No time barrier sit till any time you want. They have manga/ comics section beneath which is 50₹/hr and they have a quite good collection. From Japanese mangas to Marvel/ DC all at one place.
There are plenty of dishes to try as they keep on changing their menu and come up with a new dish.
Good place to have meetings or relax or discuss something.
If u have ever heard Coffee + books= perfect combination. You can experience this combo at this place which is library cum cafe.So for all the bookworms its a must visit place which can help u read a book in a cozy atmosphere along with sipping coffee.
I visited a month ago and m a fan of this place now.
Comics I actually love them and this is the main reason I love Leaping Windows.
Location of this is just so good so good.
Menu is quite ok though.
If you are lucky you might jump in some celebrities too.
A great place to hang out with your friends or loved ones. It has a library in the basement for book lovers. Great favoured beers, desserts and burgers. A bit expensive but it’s worth it. You will find reference of many comic book heroes all around the place
The only place I know in Mumbai where you can read manga, they have all the famous ones. The beer collection is also amazing, tap collection is simply awesome.
Partly disappointed as their tap menu keeps changing, you try a beer, love it, come back again to taste it but it's no longer served.
The best place to have pancakes. They serve the most fluffiest, softest and of course, the most yummiest pancakes I've ever had. ❤️
My forever favorite place 😍❤️
2nd April 2019. I finally visited the place. I wanted to go here since the time of its opening few years ago, I think 5 or 6 years ago if am not wrong. But just couldn't make it. Had jackfruit nachos which was in their specials menu. Drank Pilsner & Apple Mead. Mead is brilliant. Tasted other 3 beers which were good too. Nachos was excellent, sauce too, generous quantity, super quality. Nice little library in basement. I sat outside. Can get noisy due to vehicles. Next time I'll sit inside. I love the ambience of the place too. Great staff & service. Please keep up the good work and please keep it consistent because I surely wanna frequent this gem whenever I can. Ended up buying a book for ₹50 out of which something'll go to children's donation. Positive vibes only here.
Nice place away from the busy part of the city, short and sweet menu. Well we ordered for a couple of drinks which they didn't have and then we ordered cold coffee which was fine. Nothing very extra ordinary about the place, except that you have a few books there to read
This is small place in Versova with such nice decor. A perfectly warm cosy atmosphere with amazing food. Tried the minced chicken nachos and the hot chocolate (which they make using dark chocolate) topped with marshmallows. Both the dishes were extremely delicious. Would definitely visit again.

ALL the stars to this place. Great food. Great books. Great ambience. A mustttt visit for all graphic novel lovers.
I went there for breakfast and ordered waffles, which was delicious. Lot's of variety on drinks and juices too which is always a plus with me.
This place is a wonderful quaint cafe where it feels like the time has slowed down. There were blues playing and lazy feel was in the air.
The food menu was very interesting and the food quantity was great.
We ordered a couple of refreshing juices and meals and all was delicious.
They have a den full of comic books and a few novels for sale outside the cafe which were both very interesting.
All in all, if you have a lazy afternoon to spend, this place is a must visit.
Loved the concept as well the decor. The place is named after an old comic company. The whole ambience is developed around that including the menu. All the dishes are named in the coolest way and are prepared in the most healthy way possible. We tried the Panic at the Disco and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Both were delicious, the latter one certainly a must order. They also have a comic library in the basement where you can pay and spend time, their collection mind blowing. The service is prompt and the staff friendly. They also have a good variety of fresh juices. Nice place for a weekend lunch.
Cosy little comics-themed place in Versova. Good for people who live in the area, a little remote otherwise. Nice casual vibe, euro cafe feel.
Food was good, though a little on the salty side. Tried the Onion Rings, Bangers with Mash, and Grilled Chicken. Washed down with Irish Stout beer that was also good. Prices are a little high.
They have a comics reading room downstairs. Small but quite a few books. ₹50/hr to use it. There's also outdoor seating which will be nice in the winters.
This place is the best chill place for a lazy afternoon. Go for the comic zone not the food. Grab a drink and chill in the basement while you enjoy your favourite anime, dc, marvel, calvin n Hobbes etc comics. Place charges you 50/- per hour at the library which is totally worth it. We ordered some coffees, hot and cold brews! Food was average and pricy
You feel at home . Amazing reading room and food . One of the best places to spend some time with your friends or alone . They have a variety of collection in their library for comic lovers . Loved it . ❤️
Cozy establishment off yari road versova. Great comfort food. Try the buffalo burger and parle g shake if you want comfort. Harvest bowl is love in case you want to attain Nirvana for the day and be healthy. You will spot a celebrity almost always. Go for this one!
I remember this place because of its name and ambience as it has an amazing world downstairs for the book lovers who like reading and exploring. It has quiet a good ambience and soulful environment. The staff here is quiet good. Food is amazing as there is so much of amazing taste in their food. Good taste good quantity. Everything at its best.
Awesome Cafe
great food
Nice service
Must try scrambled eggs and nachos
Cold coffee is to die for.
Gives you a homely feeling the moment you reach this cafe.
Would love to visit again
I had the gnocchi it had a lot of vinegar, the hot chocolate was good. The experience was overall good. Staff were friendly but not present when needed.
This was my go to place for a nice brunch on any day of the week. Loved the food and overall vibes of this place though i was pretty disappointed with the quality of food the last time around ( my english breakfast platter aas missing baked beans, sausages weren't up to the mark, service too was very slow). I hope it was just a one time miss ( hence the high rating of 4). Portion size is decent.
If you are here don't forget to pay their underground comic book library a visit. They have got a good collection. Also do look around to see who is sitting on the table next to you, it could be your fav TV soap actor ( i have seen quite a few). Post ur meal u could take a nice stroll on the quiet shady lane outside the cafe.
My order:
Jamaican grill ( your usual grilled chicken steak on a bed of mashed potatoes and grilled beans)
Chicken full house ( Recommended)
Bangers and mash ( Recommended)
Oreo shake ( recommended)
We had few drinks. Non alcoholic ones. Some mint coconut and probably the other one was hazelnut shake. Sadly, both were disappointing. There was no coconut and no hazelnut in the respective drinks. Didn't try the food though, so that's the reason still going ahead with 4 stars because ambience and the hangout vibes of it is worth it. And what more is you get to buy used books for merely Rs.50/- !!! Cheers for that!
When you are just counting hours to wake up and start yet another hectic week, scavenging for some me time ain't rare. And in a pursuit of hiding away from the world I found this quaint place in one of the lanes of Versova. A bookworms haven, this cafe-library can proudly boast about it's amazing food, ambience and great book collection. I ordered what they call on their menu "Lay your own eggs" and I don't exaggerate when I say it was the best I have had in a very long. The soft fluffy omelette perfectly complimented by the red cabbage and corn side made this solitary trip worth it. Will be dropping by again very soon for another very quick escapade!
#foodgasm #foodie #versova #mumbaidiaries #foodforlife
I was at this place for a comedy show. Both the show n the food were a pleasant surprise to my weekday .we ordered the steak medium rare n pesto sauce pasta along with frosted cream topped carrot cake. Everything was cooked to perfection
Definitely worth a revisit.
My friend and i were returning home from our evening walk and since the weather was chilly, we decided to hop in at Leaping Windows for chai and some quick bites. The masala chai was cooked right and served piping hot #perfect. Along with that we ordered some chicken skewers which were yum! The meat coated with sauce melted as i binged on and the taste of caramelized onions with it made the dish all the more tastier. My only issue is they served just 3 per serving :(. Leaping Windows as far as the ambiance is concerned is nice, airy and very inviting. The place has been a den for comic nerds and avid readers for years now. The moment you'll enter the restaurant has books and comics in every corner. Even their menu is comic-themed! Really interesting. Though i stay stone throw away from this place, it's the first time I visited and would love to go back there again. :)
Chilled place for conversations. Good concept of some outside space to sit and some inside.
Easy menu options and some collection of drinks. Alcoholic and alcoholic . Food didnt taste good or i would say not prepared well. Ordered couple different things like potato wedges which should be baked instead of fried or else it should mention fried potato wedges. The quinoa dish was watery. only the bruschetta was good in taste.
For me personally, food should be good to sit at a place and have long conversations with people so here i didnt get it. Even though people spent good amount of time sitting here. Maybe Its coz u can smoke in open space sitting on ur table .
I have seen better hang out places. Still good to go.Chota Chetan Milkshake and Caramel and vanilla milkshake are good choices to start you off.
Leaping windows is an elegant place. It has nice ambience. The section with the books and bean bags is the main attraction. The place is not much expensive.
🔷latte:It was made with espresso and steamed milk.
Price 💸:130
🔷Nut-yell-aaah:pancakes were really tasty.nutella was stuffed into it.sprinkled with sugar powder, served with whipped cream.
Price 💸:330
In love with this place.💖 .
One of the quirkiest menu cards ever seen.. This place has a very quirky theme going on. Also there are a lot of events that keep happening so you can plan your visit accordingly. Great food . We tried the chicken nachos and messy paneer sandwich and totally loved it
Had these Peri Peri Chicken Wings, Onion Rings, Hazelnut Cold Coffee and Aztec Cold Coffee at 📍 Leaping Windows, Versova. My favourite was Hazelnut Cold Coffee.
Also I really liked their ambience and library!!
This place is a must visit if you come to Andheri West!! 💯

Wanted to visit the place for the longest time and i must say it was definitely worth the wait. Lots of yummies on the menu, we tried the egg white omelette, salted caramel coffee, chickenator sandwitch and aztec cold coffee. Everything was delicious. We were attended by bob who helped us with the selections and was friendly and really helpful. Do try their seasonal special carrot cake too!
Great place for breakfast. Place is small and cute. A library in the basement which is really nicely maintained. Great place to catch-up with friends!
Came here with my 8 yr kid.. fell in love with the place immediately.. a place where u hav more then 5000 comics... Relived the childhood with the books and the food was mind blowing. Had the banoffee pie and I haven't had it better anywhere else.
I really loved the Cafe and Food and people here. One of best cafe in versova. Loved the ambience. Suppaaar location and place to chill and read some comics as well. There is a underground library loved it.
I am in love with the concept and location more than anything. 50 per hour and you can be between world of marvel and chacha choudhary ( comic i mean). Menu is well crafted keeping in mind about all taste buds but lacks little presentation
I absolutely loved the ambience of this place. The moment I entered the basement library, I thought about 'The Big Bang Theory.' This would have been the guys' favourite spot. The food is amazing here. The service was rather slow and we had to wait for about an hour or so for our food. However the ambience and the food quality adds up to a great experience. Must visit if you're a book lover and a foodie 😀
Leaping Windows on Yari Road is a charming haven for bookworms, coffee enthusiasts, and pet lovers alike. Whether you're seeking a quiet corner to read, a cozy spot to catch up with friends, or simply a pet-friendly café to spend quality time with your furry companion, this place has it all. Craft beer 🍺 with some pesto chicken sandwich or buffalo burger or crispy chicken all helped tantalise the palate and slowwwly soak in the weekend
What an amazing gem?! Margarita pizza was just okay (but the cherry tomatoes and roasted garlic helped made the pizza taste better) but the prawn and chilly oil pizza was amazing. I am Vietnamese and can say that the VN iced coffee isn't authentic but quite okay. The best aspect about this place is their comic books collection. Simply amazing!
Nice cosy place to hangout with your partner. They have a nice comic library theme and also provide books to read. Not suggested for a larger group. Ideal group size can be 3 to 4.
Recently they have started serving alcohol as well.
I was a big fan of their Cajun burgers but sadly that is out of the menu now.
Overall satisfied with the service provided as well.
Leaping Windows is a hidden gem that beautifully combines the love of books and great food in an unforgettable ambience.
Upon stepping into the basement library, I was instantly reminded of 'The Big Bang Theory,' and I couldn't help but imagine it as the guys' favorite hangout spot. The cozy, book-filled atmosphere creates a unique and inviting vibe.
While I wholeheartedly agree that the food is amazing at Leaping Windows, I must admit that the service was a bit slow during my visit, requiring us to patiently wait for about an hour for our meals. However, the exceptional ambience and food quality more than compensated for the wait.
This place is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the perfect pairing of good books and delicious cuisine. If you're a book lover and a foodie, Leaping Windows offers an experience that you'll cherish. 📚🍽️😀
As a book cafe it certainly manages to live up to the expectations of a one-off visitor, but for someone considering to visit regularly, there could be room for improvement. The collection of all kinds of books, comics, and manga is good, but its lacking in new and latest, especially for those interested in reading manga.
I didnt try the food but I have no reason to doubt the quality and taste based on my friends experience.
This is the most unique cafe i haven't seen before in Mumbai. It's just not like a same routine cafe. The owner is big time fan of comics and the cafe is designed with all the beautiful comics stars. The cafe has a beautiful library in the basement with ample of books 📚
Book lovers this is your place you can just come down take a coffee and enjoy your book reading.
Since 5 years they have also started serving alcohol.
I ordered one coffee ( Americano) it was good in taste.
There is also outdoor seating available.
Wheelchair accessible entrance ❌
Wheelchair accessible washroom ❌

For so many years now Leaping windows has not once let us down when it comes to comfort food or their insanely yummy burgers. The sweet potato fries are a must and so is everything else, and the bond they have with books and comics - aaah the icing on the cake. Keep up the great work guys, we love visiting you again and again.
Tucked away in a bylane of Yari road is this delightful cafe. Literally want to lead into their window every time I am there after the fabulous repast. Wonderful atmosphere, (the music is a bit garish and loud, but they lowered the volume at our request), a great patio to sit in and good inexpensive food. What more can one ask for? Had My Endu Kheema (Eggs and kheema) after years. Oh and their cold coffee was delicious too
Secret heaven for manga & comic lovers! They have an amazing library collection with super cozy settings. Had the hot chocolate and nachos which were great as well. Library floor closes at 10pm and you can't take food on that floor for precaution. Cafe aesthetics are also amazing. The staff was super friendly.
Very relaxed atmosphere. The outside section is pet friendly. They have a good variety of beer on tap. Couldn't stay long because there were too many flies but that was more to do with the rainy weather of the day. Tried the roasted aubergine on toast and a few different beers. Would definitely visit again to try out some more food and beer.
Had an amazing time. Cool ambience. Great mangas stored there. I'd appreciate if more updated mangas were available but the one's that are available are nice! Nice place to hangout with friends!!
I went to the place just to explore the basement library and trust me, it was exactly what i expected. Lots and lots of comic books (they have the rarest collection indeed), peaceful ambience, perfect lights.. Books are also available on rentals and for purchase also. Libraby is on chargeable basis and they have membership plans also if you are a regular visitor...A must place for book lovers.❤️❤️... Apart from that, food tastes okay, not justifying the charges they have put on. Sitting arrangement is both inside and outside which is fine.
This is the most unique cafe i haven't seen before in Mumbai. The food is quality and quantity is good.Very relaxed atmosphere.Would definitely visit again to try out some more food and beer.
If you're a lover of comic books, you'll notice the amount of detailing that's gone into the decors. From the wall art to to the menu card and even to the bill (it comes hidden INSIDE a real comic book) - the thought and effort gone into this place is amazing. The food is mostly tasty but they are notoriously quite oily. Expect slow service but don't think of it as a diner. Rather prepare to walk into a place where you want to sit for an hour or so and enjoy those lengthy conversations with friends. And since it's in Versova, watch out for that script reading going on at least one table :)
A nice cozy yet cheerful place, which btw is a lovely place to visit for an afternoon relaxation with a late lunch and one of the finest Hot Chocolate brews in the city. Also, you'll probably spot a celebrity here as it's located in the interiors of Versova, Andheri West and kind of a celebrity favourite. I have personally spotted Nawazuddin Siddique here and a couple of TV actor/actresses. The ambiance will remind you of your childhood as well due to an entire section of all your favourite comics with a warm seating arrangement. Good for food also, however offers a limited menu for Vegetarians. One thing's for sure the ambiance of this restaurant is to admire, adore and be amazed by. It's got that vibe which you can't feel or understand unless you have visited it, so I'd strongly recommend to go here at least once. It'll be worth it
One of the best places to relax with a book. They even sell second-hand books. A small cafe with both outdoor & indoor seating and some good old books. They also have another cozy space (a small one though) for book lovers to read their comic book collection.
