Hey I would really like to appreciate the staff working in blue tokai bandra as I visited for the first time on a friend recommendation.they were very helpful in making me understand which coffee I should have. Very happy with the staff response and coffee..!!
Their peppermint mocha was so amazing!!šworth it!
Blue Tokai Coffee Roaster is one of the coffee house who know the product and the ingredients well. I love the fact it is not mainstream and located in the bylanes of Bandra. They are well versed with the coffee and make sure they deliver up to the mark. The crowd is chill where someone has come with a friend, some work by crunching keys on the laptop , others sit in solitude sipping coffee and keep to themselves. The flat White is a drop of milk from the cloudy foam . It has the perfect bitterness and correct ratio of the powder to the milk and what better to have a bit of a Sea Salt chocolate cookie. Impeccable and a blissful experience
The croissants, bagels and gruyere they serve here taste better than what you will find in most of the city. The coffee here is perfect for the roast you prefer. The background scores they play are curated with taste. If they can figure out a way to manage the space better as it can get a little tight, BT is easily the best spot in town for coffee lovers.
Extremely nice servers. No pressure to order even if you are sitting for hours! Kind and animal-friendly place. Perfect for freelancers like me!
Had gone there to try the bagel about which I had heard a lot ! The bagel was actually every tasty . The doughnut was average and the coffee was nice. There is not much sitting place there in this branch l! The crowd is mostly student crowd ! Overall is a nice coffee place to go to. Do buy the dark chocolates from there, they are actually the best chocolates.
Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters are the first ones to bring the third wave of coffee to India. The interiors of the cafe are soft-toned. The peacock blue and white walls give you a sense of tranquillity in the air. How is this place different from any other coffee house? They have their roastery where they roast and pack coffee. Probably why this best for its authentic and organic taste. Try the coppery coloured and bubbly Espresso Tonic which is fruity in flavour or the cold brew, for the ones who want a coffee sans the bitter taste. Although the place is known for the unmatched taste of its coffees, you can also try their croissants, and energy bars, which go along well with your cup of joe.
Blue Tokai's ambience has a soothing aura which makes you want to sit here for longer. Tried the savouries which I would say is 4/5 - mushroom gruyere and sesame bagels. The Iced Cappuccino was definitely a plus point. Looking forward to try more coffees here.
Amazing coffee , loved the custard cruffin , the almond croissant is a must try . Welll located place , with friendly staff
One of the best places in town for coffee. Their in-house freshly ground varieties are unique and amazing! Nice and simple food menu as well
One of the nicest coffee place in town, not like those big coffee houses where you are being charged for the place instead of the coffee. The small place must have 8-9 tables and can accommodate around 20 - 25 people. the place does justice to its name and the product it sells, Coffee they have a wide range of coffees to offer from. For all the coffee lovers, a must-visit. The prices of the coffee are comparatively good as compared to the product they sell.
I have been to Blue Tokai in Bangalore. And I loved their outlet in Mumbai as well. It's a small, quiet cafe. The mocha was good, with the right flavour. The almond corrisant is a must-have (not on the pic). Also if you are a vegan lover, do try their Raw Cacao and Espresso Brownie š
Superb coffee and a tiny but cutely done place. The custard cruffin is to die for! Loved the Americano and the hot chocolate. The cold brew was delicious as well!
Beautifully ground brew, best served chilled. Yes! The cold brew is the perfect dosage for a coffee addict. Do it my way, add 3 teaspoons of sugar, and a couple of drops of lime, loaded with ice. Trust.
I love Blue tokai. I always have the pour over with almond milk. A light roast is what I prefer. Itās consistent and aromatic. Also most coffees give me anxiety, this has less acidity and lighter on the stomach. The kallevederpura estate blend is what I use everyday at home. Totally recommend
This place has some magic... whether itās a lazy morning where you just want to recharge with a cup of coffee, or a chill rainy day where you can accompany your favourite book with a cup of coffee, or a special date.... this place exists to satisfy you and make you happy, leaving a lasting impression.
Tried the sea salt mocha and the peppermint mocha. It was coffee that was one of a kind. Iām not a coffee connoisseur, but to me, it tasted DIFFERENT. (Nice different)
Definitely going back here again!
I really enjoy the selection of coffees here - hot and cold both.
Favorite in cold - Nitro
Favorite in hot - the capuccino with a side of Mason&Co chocolate
The cookies here are really nice too š
I bought a few packets of the beans to enjoy the roast at home!
Friendly, neighborhood coffee shop with good ambience and good service. I come here every weekend to sit and read for some time. Limited seating. Waiting for them to open a bigger place. Special commendation for Nick (he works here) - very professional, proactive and friendly - a rare combination to find.
Not a sucker for coffee but really enjoyed this one! Tried their coffee tonic, ice latte and chocolate croissant. A must visit place for those who are powered by caffeine.
Even though they have a limited menu , I love some of their items.
Cafe mocha
Iced coffee are my fav coffees.
Almond croissant is unlike any other place.
It's a refreshing change from the usual coffee places.
Was waiting to try this place since the time it arrived in Bandra.
Their coffee is freshly grounded here and they have their own mix of coffee beans. So the flavour is completely different from your usual coffee.
I tried their affogato and it was delish. They have this sea salt choco chip cookie which is AMAZING.
Must visit place for a coffee lover.
Good fresh coffee goes without saying. Itās a given ! Everytime weāve placed an order for coffee, itās been brilliant. Besides that, they have great accompaniments like the cinnamon roll & avocado toast. Cute cafe with Scandinavian interiors.
The place have a limited option for drinks and food . Donāt rely on Zomato for the menu. I end up visiting this place after seeing the menu from zomato and had a very disappointing experience.
But anyways as this place is famous for coffee and I m telling please do try there coffee .... you will love it .
Good coffee! Nothing to eat. Could have better seating. Gets a lil congested so i would recommend a take away for ur coffee needs. Good service and a pet friendly place which is why id rate them a 5 stars
Toast to the roast. Love their coffee . It's a small place ( bandra west outlet) , good for a read / work and candid conversations. Love going there .
Must try - Affagato.
Simply the best coffee in town. I go there everyday. U can catch me there every morning. It's a cult. No one come close. Epic! Pour over is legendary.
Stumbled upon this very cute place in Bandra. They have some amazing varieties of coffee. The chilli seasalt coffee was quite yummy. Over all a very good place and quite reasonably priced!
Great little location to get a quick cup of coffee. The brownies are pretty cool as well and service is attentive . It can get loud at rush times and the cafe is pretty small so plan accordingly
Very pretty place to get coffee and catch up with friends, on this visit only had their mocha but will be back to try some of their food too.
The staff are attentive and the aroma of the coffee as soon as you walk in the door is intoxicating.
Ninoshka loves the ambience and how pretty the place is done up. The seating is a bit cramped up especially if itās full but otherwise this place is really good to grab a cup of coffee.
Blue Tokai is a cute and small cafe to visit if you want to spend some alone time with a delicious cup of coffee.
This cafe has a nice vibe to it and the service is quick, making me want to visit it again!
I would rate the outlet 3.5/5 but I will add 0.5 to it mostly because of the aroma of fresh coffee beans that hits you and pleases your mind as soon as you enter the cafe!
āāāā
One more to the list of good Cafe's in bandra . Pretty much the place for a good and healthy breakfast. Mexican poached eggs w/ flat white was the perfect fit for me.
Blue Tokai gets an extra point from me (so, 3 + 1) only because of the wonderful coffee aroma that I sensed when I entered the place. This outlet is a cosy one with outstanding service.
The food and beverages are definitely expensive but once in a while it's fine. I had their cappuchino, which was just like any other regular cappuchino, and Avo Toast, which was "healthy" and just about made it for me.
In conclusion, Blue Tokai is a good, one-time visit.
The beverages here are really good, we ended up having a latte and a flat white, the order arrived really quickly, attentive and fast working staff.
Blue Tokai one of the best place to have amazing coffee!!! Sunday morning with cup of joe here is one of the best things. The banana loaf we tried was fresh and delectable.
Taste-o-Meter:4/5
Hospitality:4/5
I have been meaning to go to one of their cafes for a while. I had visited their website and was hooked on to their concept immediately.
We ordered a small cappuccino, Mocha and Avo Toast.
The taste of coffee was extremely rich and felt really different from any other coffee I have ever tasted. It reminded me of the coffee I had in Europe.
The Avo toast was extremely healthy and tasty.
The staff was well informed and were really helpful.
I liked the ambience which was lively and the place infused an atmosphere which will good for work and get together with friends and loved ones.
Food: 4/5
Coffee: 10/5 āŗļø
Service: 5/5
Ambience: 5/5
The smell of coffee lures you inside! The cinnamon roll with cream cheese is a total heart stealer. Just couldnt get over the amazing coffee!
Visited here and ordered custard and it was truly yummmm...I couldn't resist myself from ordering the second one... Would love to visit again
For the love of coffee! Cozy place with small sitting area but heaven for true coffee lovers.
Take a book or a friend and enjoy your each sip at this fabulous place.
Flat white start to the day, that's amazing. But more than that Sumita was kind and patient, had a nice chat. Thank you for the wonderful coffee. Love coffee love blue Tokai.
The coffee bean aroma welcomes you from outside its doors. The place is small but cosy yet bright.
We had a hot and a cold coffee. Both were done well. The hot beverage was peppermint flavoured with sweet nibs and is recommended. I didnāt find the coffee bitter but pristine. We ordered a cruffin too. The vanilla custard inside was cool and hence a welcome surprise.
The Bandra outlet of Blue Tokai is the quintessential hole in the wall cafe. Small and cozy and really simple.
The coffee here is great as usual.
We also love their croissants and cruffin!
This is a quaint little place but totally gives the feel of an international level coffee shop. Simple but classy. They actually know their business really well and brew some exquisite coffees that I'm sure you wont find everywhere.I am mostly a black coffee person and I had the following 2 variants :>> Hot Brew :SEA SALT MOCHAĀ : This had the base of coconutty flavored milk mixed with their own brewed coffee. Very different, need to develop a taste for unique coffees to break through our regular ones.>>Ā Cold Brew :ICED POUROVER : This is made by slowly pouring hot water over brewed coffee beans and ice cubes added to it (no milk at all). It was very very nice since I like black coffees way too much!10/10 for me
Nice and cozy place.. had just a coffee and a brownie here.. it was average.. nothing special.. would be a nice place to come and work for a while on laptop.. they also have a smoke bin outside..
A beautiful hole in a wall cafe that you might completely miss if you don't look around. Blue Tokai has this comfortable work plus casual feeling where you can just walk in with your laptop and set up your mini work desk or just catch up with friends to enjoy a nice cup of coffee brewed from some of the best coffee beans I have experienced. The staff is super friendly but if its rush hour then you might have to wait for them to get you some space. It's a good experience for a good cup of coffee
Fell in love with their custard cruffin! It's an amazing custard filled muffin like croissant! It was really fresh and just wow! Liked the flat white too..
These guys make a mean coffee - capa/latte. Also very impressed with their delivery skills, coffee arrives hot and jhakass! This probably is more a case of credit being due to zomato delivery but either way delivering a coffee is never easy so good going. Service is also very good, they follow instructions well like sugar quantity etc etc. Thanks
This cafe is a hidden treasure in Pali Hill. Blue Tokai is my fav beans amongst all, but having a cup of cappuccino itself at their cafe was a great experience. Decent decor and good staff. Surely gonna visit regularly
Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters is one of a kind chain outlets across India serving Indian Arabic roasted Coffee
Set afoot in Pali Hills (lies on the west coast of Mumbai, running closely parallel to Carter Road),
Bandra this is a one stop destination for weekend Breakfast with instrumental music and a little chat with Firangis
Although their bakery products are being outsourced by Magazine Street Kitchen, this is a one stop destination for coffee lovers
Food :- 4.0/5
Ordered Almond Croissant, Caramelised Onion & Feta Cheese Danish. Alongside Orange Marmalade Jam, both breakfast dishes were delicious
Drinks :- 4.0/5
Ordered Cold Brew Coffee and LattƩ. Cold brew coffee is a definitely try on item in their A la carte. If you are a true coffee lover, enjoying the blend of it without adding sugar then this place is a mecca
Ambiance :- 4.0/5
Its a tiny outlet well furnished and a few paintings tangled in the wall. There is a section for tables with 3-5 people and also single chairs with platforms to work on laptops with sockets provided
Service :- 4.0/5
Service is efficient. Didnāt wait too long for any of the dishes and the waiters are specific while explaining the dishes and the different types of coffee they have to offer
A not so Bombay experience in Bombay a must-go place for having an abroad style breakfast alongside firangis
Actually 4.5/5
I wouldāve loved a bigger food menu, but their coffee is just perfect. A medium roast Americano, some quirky takes on the usual coffee offerings (the espresso tonic has become a spritz Campari equivalent of a refreshing drink for me) all rate 5/5 for me.
Loved the Coffee āļø it was really good and enjoyed the ambiance and the rains outside. Hope you all can open a cafe in South Mumbai. Also just wanted to say if you could add some more food items. Cheers!
Blue tokai being one of the success startups... itās hard to be amongst the most profitable, this can at least be given a try if volumes hit our target... now that happens when customers are repeated and new customers introduced to new offerings .. one of the pointers I have is add new range of flour to the offerings like almond flour ... Mr Ranjeet Pisal staff is very humble and warm just like itās products
Good place to get your cup of Joe in the morning. The coffee is perfect, and the cafe is usually full of Macbook yielding yuppies, working away at something. You could try the fancier options such as the nitro coffee, cold brew et al, if it is your first time here.
One of the best tasting coffee in town. The coffee has the right strength and the acidic flavor.
Flat White is my favourite. Their sea salt mocha is a great option too.
Had Americano light smokey flavour. Liked it very much. Along with sesame bagle with cream cheese. Good ambience and service. Will come again.
Great place for people who take their coffee seriously.. They offer fresh brewed coffee and also have roasted beans for purchase, ask for aakash great guy for help
Blue Tokai came out of urge of having coffee. This was an accidental find for a true lover and I am glad that it did not disappoint.
This isn't a big space, but a cute one. Ideal for a casual evening / morning cup of finely roasted coffee to set your mood straight. Munching options can be worked on though, not much of a choice there.
Pure love for coffee? Do visit this place with your date perhaps, she/he will like this. Chill, talk and sip some genuine roasts.
Quiet and low-key place with excellent coffee. I usually get the Pourover or the Flat white. Food is ok. I would recommend it to everyone but Iām feeling a bit possessive.
It's a nice cozy coffee place in Bandra. Menu options are limited but we loved what we ordered. Service is pretty quick and staff is responsive. It's a good change from other branded coffee outlets like Starbucks - more relaxed laid back setting, less crowded. I would definitely want to go again to try other coffees plus food options.
This place is one of the best coffee places in Mumbai. The brew is strong & rich.
Must visit for all coffee lovers.
They serve small bites which very well compliment your coffee.
Not a lengthy menu to select from, which I personally love in any joint.
#Sigh. The only thing that can make us walk out of our home on weekends and drive more than an hour is the prospect of this coffee. This place doesn't even need a review. Hey, you guys. You are our Favorite.
We stock up their roasted coffee for home brewing , too. And, the bakes are perfect. I am so glad it is a true blue coffee stop without thousand other things on the menu.
Love coffee? This one rules the town. Walk down, read a book over some crumbling crusty croissant or just sit back and watch life milling around.
Ambience 4/5
Food 4/5
Service 4/5
Itās a very small place serving really really nice coffee.. will surely go back again to try some more coffee & food.
Nice cafe with some good coffee. We had the cafe latte and soft bagels with sesame seeds. Coffee was freshly brewed and the bagels were well toated. Would surely go again for a nice cup of hot coffee :)
Quantity of coffee was less. Not expecting it to be filled to the brim but still...
Went here for a quick coffee one fine Saturday evening. It was jam packed!
We managed to get a table and were quickly told that the brownies are flying off. We ordered a brownie, and an Affogato (my new addiction!!). The best part about the Affogato was the double scoop of ice cream. The satisfaction one gets on pouring espresso slowly over the ice cream!
Love the place and service.
Follow me on Instagram : once_upon_a_plate
I have never been a fan of these big coffee chains (you know which one im talking about).
And once you discover these wonderful little places which are slowly becoming super popular and rightly so, you will never be able to down another cup from the branded places.
i reached Blue Tokai Bandra in continuation of my new found love for cold brew. i just cant have enough of it.
The location : It is a lane in Bandra West. Very easily located by google maps.
The Ambience : It is a cute little place, with very little seating. We were lucky to find a table as soon as we walked in.
True to its name, blue is of course the predominant theme here. Quite soothing.
The order :
I went for the cold brew coffee. it was really good. The flavour of the coffee really comes out in a cold brew.
At least, thats what i have felt. On an especially hot and humid day, this is a perfect guilt free yummy drink to have
The mrs went for a cold brew as well, albeit with almond milk. A friend on mine had a flat white.
The surprising element was the almond croissant. It was absoultely smashing. It was so good that on finishing one, we went to order another, but they were out!
Service : No issues at all with the service.
VFM : Pretty good vfm for the quality you are getting.
Verdict : Really good coffee. Totally worth a visit. im going with a 4/5 for Blue Tokai, Bandra.
Just found out that they have opened an outlet very close to my office. Win-Win.
My order has not been delivered! I've waited patiently. The rider doesn't even have my address! Please refund my money. I'm not waiting for a cold and sad coffee. The no sign of him YET! I spoke to him 15 minutes ago! The order shows delivered.
The staff is very courteous and friendly. I had the butter croissant which tasted fresh and light, and the expresso. overall the experience is a an amazing one.
It's a small place in a corner of Pali Hill. Simple yet warm and cozy decor. I ordered a flat white which was the best coffee I've had in a long time. We also ordered a savoury Danish with caramelised onions and crumbled feta which was good as well. Good place for a leisurely chat with friends.
Heaven for a coffee lover, very unique variety of coffee options are available here. You can just go and sit with your friends or maybe just read a book. Their coffees are freshly brewed and are perfect in taste. Their flat white is my personal favourite. You can even buy their coffee mix.
A cool chlller place with good coffee, ambience, crowd and mainly bread delicacies (my favourite)
Since am not much of a coffee drinker I have always stayed away from the regular cafes. What I like about Blue Tokai is their iced latte and pain au chocolat, reminds me of a Parisien cafe :)Ā
The desserts that are from Magazine street kitchen are delicious!!! the almond bread and butter croissant are made to perfection.
For coffee lovers the place is a haven especially if you get your coffee packets ordered here as per your preferences. Your name printed on the coffee bag is so cute. :)
Blue. Tokai. Coffee. Is. Amazing. (Understatement)
Americanos, Caps, Mocha's (especially the sea salt), Nitro, Tonic. Everything!
Try the Tonic and Sea Salt Mocha, super unique.
Almond croissant to die for. Cruffins brilliant!
Being a follower for chef Pooja Dhin I read about this cafe . Was on road chilling with my friend decided to give it a try.
I love it when the staff is well versed with what they are serving. With different lovely coffee there we decided to keep it simple with #Seasaltmocha and it was an absolute delight. It had chocolate of #mason&co which gave it the richness to the optimum. We felt flavourful but not heavy at all. Loved it! Will try something new next time when they did the basic right the new different stuff should be mind blowing tooš
Blue Tokai Coffee Support
Cozy breakfast cafe nestled in tiny Bandra by lane!
A much cozier Blue Tokai franchise serving the usual BT cafe menu. Dropped by on a long bicycle ride for breakfast. Had a cortado, croissant and an everything bagel with cream cheese. Everything was just perfect! Even the bagel could give a NY bagel a run for itās money!
Staff is polite and courteous which Iāve observed at every BT franchise that Iāve been.
Definitely worth a visit if your with a friend! Enjoy some coffee and conversation in a cozy setting!
Last night we were craving for some cold coffee and some cozy place to chill so we ended up at blue tokai. We weāre little hungry too so we had ordered their must try pistachio raspberry croissant which was damn delicious.Atmosphere is nice and service is pretty quick.A must visit place to chill and enjoy some lip smacking foodš
We visited here on a Sunday Morning. The location is great, away from the main street and feels quaint and cozy. The iced latte I had was pretty good even after I was still sipping on it after 2 hours. I would come back here if I was in the area to try many other things.
Excellent little coffee house and brunch place. The coffee is exceptional, the food comes from the nearby restaurant so it can take a moment for your order to arrive. They accept Visa payments.
A cute small coffee shop on the street of bandra. They make the best coffee in the town. Lots of varieties in coffee and bakery items.
We ordered Triocino, Cappucino, Vietnamese Iced coffee(one of their premium coffee), Iced Mocha.
Do try their Carrot cake with cream cheese.
The coffee grain selected is really smooth and creates refreshing aroma and taste. For coffee lovers, I highly recommend.
Been getting my coffee from them since I moved to India. Perfect roast! I ended up collecting their packaging for the art they put on the back.
Also their double cocoa bar is one of my favorite sweets on the go.
It was a real shame the greeting young lady who showed us to our table was curt, unwelcoming and sour faced. Food was excellent. Wouldn't visit again unless she changes her attitude
I came here after a recommendation from a friend. Great coffee! I tried a sandwich as well and it was nice. Also the atmosphere is very quiet, you can bring a book and chill for a bit. They also do takeaway of course.
Love the Ambiance and the different kind of products they sell.
I like how they offer you the type of grind you need for your coffee!!
Must try: Vietnamese Style Iced Mocha
A cute small coffee shop on bandra Street.they make the best speciality coffee an they have a lots of varieties in bakery items.
An their staff are also friendly an kind to the customer.
Triocino is my fav..
A great place to have brunch with family or friends. Although the place is small and caters to a few seats during the pandemic, the food's great!.. what could actually oomph the place is a few chairs outside the store in the open air.
Must try!
Blue tokai is one of the few places that does a coffee tonic and its simply lovely. I would usually give a good chain a 4 star but had to bump this outlet up for the CAT!! The cutie chills outside the place all the time :)
Blue Tokai coffee is small but cozy place. Aroma and taste of coffee is perfect. However coffee and food is little bit costly. Staff is friendly, co-operative.

A quaint little cafe in Bandra that one must visit! Loved their decor, the smell of coffee, the porcelain cups, and the overall ambience and welcoming attitude of the people at the cafe. If you wanna spend sometime writing or sketching while sipping on a cup of coffee, this is the perfect haven. Reasonable prices, amazing quality. Had a beautiful evening with two of my old buddies! ā”
Nestled in the bylanes of Bandra, this small coffee shop is brewing some good coffee. I was introduced to the place a few months ago and it has been my go-to place for some good coffee.
MUST HAVE - Affogato
