The goan Sea Food Thali @houseoflloydmumbai
I don't even have to describe the food, Thali was as delicious as the picture looks.😋😋
It had Fried Pomfret, Bhindi, dried prawns, Prawns curry, Fish curry, Crab curry, clams, fresh and soft poi (Goan style bread), steam rice, Salad and papad.. You really need a huge tummy like mine to finish this all 😅
Ambience: 4.8/5 (Beautiful Interior)
Quality and taste: 4.9 / 5
Service: 5 / 5
Value for Money 4/5 👍
A must visit for Non Veg food lovers . Their Prawns curry and rice is a must try. Good Ambience and music to spend some quality time with your friends.
Crabs and cocktails are the highlights of this place! We enjoyed an evening of acoustics with some yummy baked crab and white plum cocktails! Highly recommended for sit down dinners with good music and chill ambience!
I had been to HOD undecided on last Saturday while meeting one friend and we had a nice evening watching live cricket. Though I had 2 + 2 drink availing beer and had wonderful time. Ambiance is lovely & Service good. Worth visiting spending time on the beach and hitting this place.
Brilliant Goan fare. Portuguese fare and kudos on authentic food and great quality. Have already been here a few times and will visit again. My favourite is the desert Serradura. I love sweet endings
Regional Goan Cuisine at its best in a very leisurely setting a la Goan way . The mutton was succulent and rightly done and tasted great with the poee , the red curry was full of flavours and paired perfectly with the Goan red rice . The xacauti with its spices in coconut gravy was also awesome. Overall a very excellent culinary experience.
Was looking for authentic Goan sea food when we stumbled upon House of Llyods ... had been there yesterday for dinner and it's a must visit place.
The food is just awesome , the ambience just transports one to Goa with the wall murals ,the music and the settings.
The service was exceptional as they were helpful and guided us through the menu suited to our taste.
For starters we had the Prawn Recheado masala that was just perfect for our taste . For the mains we went ahead with the succulent Goan Prawn curry with the Goan Pao and poie. The Goan Pao was freshly baked. For desserts we tried the Mango cheese cake .
Overall definitely recommened as its value for money. For a good time with family and friends House of Llyod is the place to be for its food , ambience and service.
Chef Llyod brings the best of specials of Goa to Bombay. You have the seafood delicacies and the meat specials.
You can have your Prawns or Calamari deep stored rawa style or tossed in butter garlic. For all you Goan curry lovers out there, Chef Llyod has got you covered.
They have an nice bar set up amidst their opened section. You can choose from an array of cocktails or mocktails designed keeping in mind some of the Goan Favourites.
I'd advise to keep extra room for desserts. We absolutely loved thier Mango Cheesecake and the Almond chocolate fudge.
Also thier hospitality is worth mentioning, didn't have to lift a finger. Coming by again for some more specials.
The place has more choice for sea food...not the best options for vegetarians. But loved the mango desert! Also sitting out is nicer...try and get a table outside!
House of Lloyd, Authenticity at its best is what is been served here this fine restaurant. The famous House of Lloyd from the streets of Goa has opened in our city and is all set to serve some amazing Goan food for our tantalizing tastebuds.
The location is just as fine as the place is, it's on the 1st floor of the Hotel Royal Garden with a compact entrance.
Divided into 2 sections, one can opt for the AC section or the NON AC section which comes up with a fine open bar, it's more beautiful if you visit during the day time.
If you have a close look at the menu, it's neatly crafted depicting the authenticity of Goa. If you are a seafood lover then you are in for a treat. Their barbeque section is something I loved.
Being a hardcore prawns lovers and also a Goan food lover. I could not help myself from ordering some prawns delicacies.
What I ordered,
"Prawns Rechado" Loved the masala and the preparation. Well executed.
"Kokum Prawns" Fine presentation and tastes much better when had with paav.
Also had a "Rawa Rawas Fry", which was again a winner for me. The fish meat was extremely fresh and also the size of the fish was good enough.
For our main course, had a portion of classic "Goan Fish Curry" accompanied by a bowl of steam rice.
Ended the entire meal with a portion of "Serradura", it's something which everyone needs to try. It was my first time and I loved every bit of it.
Now coming to the service, its totally live up to the expectations. Food is worth the money as well. Serving size is also decent and the key factor is the freshness of the fish. A place recommended for Goan and seafood lovers.

House of Lloyd.
Goa's popular restaurant opens in Bombay and is strongly reminiscent of a Portuguese Villa, the coveted Goan eatery has Lloyd and nerissa braganza at the helm, the duo who gave candolim house of llyod.
When you enter, this place gives you a happy and positive vibe, house of Lloyd has Goa splattered across. The place has a simple and beautiful ambiance.
The menu pays tribute to the dishes , flavours , ingredients and spirit of Goa. They serve Goan, seafood and barbecue delicacies and an array of drinks and spirit. The place is perfect to spend time with family of a romantic evening while enjoying good food and a beautiful view of Bombay.
The place has been divided into two sections, the outdoor and indoor section are completely different and both sections have their own charm and vibe. The inside section transports you to Goa immediately, Mario Miranda illustrations or black and white pictures from the era gone by , everything around you makes you connect visually.
So what all did I have ?
- BBQ lamb chops.
- BBQ chi Peri Peri.
- Bombay duck ravafry
- Seafood thali
- Mango cheesecake.
The staff is warm and helpful, they helped me decide what all I should have and all their recommendations were on point.
Insiders tip
- Do try the " Fish thali " here which is served for lunch only
- Missing Goa ? The vibe, the feel ? House of Lloyd is your place
To start with the ambience.. A really beautiful place. The outdoor arrangement is cute but too hot for the summers.. Would def give it a try in the winters.
The staff was very friendly and the service is prompt.
The butter garlic prawns were too good! Nice tangy butter garlic.. Not a very overpowering garlic taste.. The prawns were really fresh.
The pork roast was delicious... Nice and succulent.
The chicken cafreal was delicious.. Lovely marinate.
The pork vindaloo is a must have.. Lovely curry.
Overall a great place..a.bit heavy on the pocket. But Zomato gold makes it easier. The white plum cocktail was yummy too.
Do visit this place for the goan cuisine and vibe.
House of Lloyad is Fine Dinning Family Restuarant Which Serves Authentic Goan Cuisine Along With Signature Cocktails & Mocktails, Seafood Starters & Mains and BBQ in Traditional Goan Style.
House of Lloyad is Situated at 1st Floor, Hotel Royal Garden, Juhu Tara Road, Juhu. Easily Accessible From Juhu Tara Main Road. The Ambience Includes Indoor Seating, Outdoor Seating, Smoking Area and Bar Section.
Visited House Of Lloyad For Having Lunch With My Friend, Who Recently Came From Holiday at Goa, So Decided To Give Him A Goan Touch, So We Ordered Mapusa's Famous Chicken Pan Rolls, Buffad Mutton Samosa and Beach Style Prawns In recheado masala along with Red wine sangria & Watermelon Bliss in Signature Drinks
Then We had Baga Style Baked Crabs, In Mains We Had Chicken in Xacuti Curry Which Famous Goan Curry, Goan Fish Curry and Steamed Rice & Poi along with Tangy tamarind and Orange Mojito in Signature Cocktails & Mocktails.
Our Desserts Were Bebinca which is Basically a Pudding and Traditional Festive Goan Dessert, We Also Had Almond Chocolate Fudge Served With Condensed Milk. Both The Desserts Were Awesome. Highly Recommending House of Lloyad If You are Looking For Experiencing Goan Food.
This place is such a treat! If you love the chill vie cafes of Goa, you're gonna love House of Lloyd for sure. The food is closest to the authentic goan cuisine I've found in Mumbai, the decor is minimalist and comfortable enough to ensure you have a good time. The service is so prompt and the servers are so good. You can easily trust them with recommendations on food and drinks. This place has found a new fan now!
This place took us by a complete surprise. We actually went to dine at Grandmama's cafe but since that was full with a long waiting list, landed up in HOL. The entrance is a bit dimly lit and it was slightly gloomy with hardly any crowd for a Sunday night making me more skeptical. But the Food Chonak Fry, Prawn Balchao, Ras omelette, Mushroom xacuti and Poi were all finger licking good. Its difficult to please a Goan with Goan food and HOL totally managed it.
The food and drinks are well priced and with Zomato gold's 2+2 drinks offer we were more than sorted.
Surely coming back for some more food with some more people.
Starting with the vibe and colours of the place to the service to the food, everything was perfect! We enjoyed every dish we ordered. Highly recommend to anyone wanting authentic Goan food and a nice ambience!
Fab food and fab service.. highly recommend
Amazing staff
Any and every thing from the menu is worth a try
Love the outside terrace area....
A must visit
Good for especially for sea food lovers . However limited options for vegetarians . Must have - fish curry. And Poi of course . The vegetarian pancake roll is nice starter .
It is vibrant blue and white azulejo themed restaurant and bar located in juhu. The vacation home setup will never make you want to leave with goan vibes all around you, you can binge on some delish sorptel with warm poi while sipping on your fruity cocktail in this goan bar and grill. Make sure guys you make up to this restaurant once.
This place is just a minute away from Juhu Beach. Lovely ambience, indoor feels like a Fine-dine experience however outside has a cosy and relaxed vibe with live music who takes request for songs.
Great place to have conversations, date nights and family dinner. The staff was friendly.
ZOMATO GOLD is an advantage.
The food was really amazing, we just ordered one dish as it was just the two of us and were not that hungry as well, this dish was so Amazing that we licked our plates clean.
Food⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Staff⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ambience ⭐⭐⭐⭐
1st visit to this place and its bang on the main road with a cafe on the ground floor. The name itself is well known in Goa.
Went there on a Karoke night, but unfortunately a disappoint as there weren’t too many people there.
Never the less, the place is famous for its food, and surely that was not a disappointment. Great food as usual.
There isn’t too much to write as the brand name holds enough weightage.
Must try food especially the steaks !!!
Love the vibe of the place. As a vegetarian, I definitely felt like there weren't enough options in the menu. But everything we ordered was really good. Also, we didn't know too much about the cuisine they offer. The staff really helped us with figuring good combinations and ordering the right thing.
Loved the place...AWESOME FOOD..lovely ambience..the right kind n volume of music to go sit n chat n chill out with friends...
Will definitely recommend for people who want a nice experience with friends n loved ones, without over the top jing bang, flashy lights or jarring music..
Always a pleasure going to House of Lloyds. One of the best places i have been to yet! And the food is out of the world. Remember to order the pomphret in lemon butter and garlic sauce. Trust me you won’t regret it. Along with either a fresh watermelon juice or a medium spiced bloody merry! Love the place, love the ambience, simply awesome. Highly recommended
Feel like a meal in Goa without the hassle of travelling all the way there? Worry not! House of Lloyd is the place you need to head to. This place not only serves Goan food, but also has the free-spirited, chilled-out Goan vibe to it. They have both, an indoor as well as an outdoor sitting area. We opted for the indoor air-conditioned section as it was the end of March and the summers had set in. There was a singer belting out English songs in his lovely voice in the outdoor section. It's definitely more fun outside if the weather conditions are right.
We called for the Homestyle potato chops. The chops were delicious and this was only the beginning. For mains, we ordered Goan sausage Pulao ( I'm a big fan of these Goan sausages ), the Tenderloin Xacuti with Pao and Goan Veg Curry with rice. The food was delicious, but what we really went bonkers over was the pao -- super-soft and glossy and oh-so-delicious! We wrapped our meal with the decadent Almond Chocolate Fudge and just hung around for a bit in the outdoor section, listening to the songs and reminiscing some wonderful times.
Ever since our first ever visit to this place, it has actually been our default choice to take our guests here to give them "a dining experience" worth cherishing... We must have come atleast 7 - 8 times in totality and out of which 5 of our visits were with our guests...
Being a vegetarian can be very difficult while selecting a restaurant, but I am elated to state that it has never been a problem when it comes to House of Llyods !! We and our palette is always satiated with their vegetarian fare...
Do try their Baigan Bharat, Mushroom & Cashew Xacuti and also their Butter Garlic Poi irrespective of whether you are /aren't a vegetarian...
One of our recent guest who is a Keralite also loved Pork Vindaloo and A Biryani which had Pork in it...
Great ambience. The al fresco seating is fabulous, for those rare occasions, when the weather Gods give us a break from the heat and humidity. There was live music on, the food and drinks were great. The servers were competent. We didnt need much advice on ordering Goan food, so no comments on their food knowledge. We started with the prawn racheado and the kingfish. Both were fresh and cooked perfectly. The racheado marination was perfect. So many places serve this. So few get it right. The salted and roast tongue were both on point. We had the beef steak and pork chop for mains. The steak was a perfect medium rare, just how we like it. Mammoth portions, the meat was marinated so well, there was no need for a sauce. The pork vindalho was one of the best we have had outside of a Goan home. Serradurra has never been one of our favoirite desserts, until we had it here
To die for !!!!!!! Excellent excellent excellent ! Chorizo for the win . Would love to visit again . Great service . Feels like Goa with the susegaadness !!!
I can't get over how brilliant the service is - professional, friendly and so warm. That, along with the food and the ambience keeps me coming back to this place again and again and again..
Just like Goa! Amazing food with open air ambience. Live performances adorn this beautiful place. Must visit! Cost for two with alcohol - 2500/- it isn't that costly that you normally would assume with a place that doesn't show the rates.
Goa on the mind, this place takes you right into a well established shack right on the beach, sipping on some fresh cocktails and fresh seafood. House of Lloyd also has some brilliant BBQ! Pork chops! Oh man that pork chop! Huge enough for two people!
Followed by a serradura- perfection!
house of Lloyd’s has Great good ...the staff was courteous , knew the stuff well and u never had to wait a moment to be served ... great cocktails ... nice ambience ... a must try ...
Authentic Goan food and great staff who are well versed with the menu offerings! Must visit over the weekend for lunch! From prawns rechado, to poes, chicken xacuti and sausage chili fry, rawas fish fry and delicious caramel custard to end with!
Here you have a choice, outdoor seating with live music or the quieter indoors. A good variety of drinks. And the food here is out of this world. A must visit place for Goan food lovers. Just delicious.
We were a group of six and drinks and dinner cost us 7000 odd Rs
This restaurant is perched on the first floor and reached via a winding staircase
We sat outside in the open as the January weather was pleasant
For food :
Starters
Prawn Reachado : fried with semolina and butter garlic were tasty but the masala felt a little strong
Mapusa’s Famous Chicken Pan Rolls : chicken stuffed in a home made pancake and fried and simply divine
Fish Cutlet : found it a tad smelly
Sweet potato Gnocchi with Reachado butter : caramelised sweet potato dumplings which were quite tasty
Vegetable Pan Rolls : Goan pancakes stuffed with vegetable cheesy mince were a big hit as well
Main dish
Mutton Sukhem: dey succulent pieces of mutton and a must have! Eaten with Goan Poi , a husk bread which the owner assured was sourced from Goa itself
Mix Veg Calderon : Vegetable in coconut gravy and ordered with white rice : mild and gentle to the palate
Sweet Dish
Eggless Goan Pudding : Serradura or sawdust pudding is also recommended
Great foot tapping Music
Lovely relaxed ambience and great service
If you want to feel authentic Goan vibes, then House of Lloyd is the place. The Goan fish curry with rice is really delicious and is served in authentic utensils as well. Cashew and Mushroom Xacuti is also delicious for a vegetarian dish. Cheese Risolli is an amazing starter. There are also plethora of Barbeque dishes to devour. For desserts, try the Lemon Cheesecake and Chocolate Almond Fudge Cake with Vanilla ice cream. It's definitely a place to visit.
One of the best places in Juhu where you can enjoy drinks and food along with sound of airplanes and live music. One of the few places i liked to go second time . Here is my recommendation for this restaurant
Food & drinks 4.5-- You have plenty of options if you are a non vegetarian, but in case of Veg, options are though less but taste is good. Authentic goan food they serve
Price 4- Price for drinks is relatively high, but if you are a zomato gold manner, it becomes way less expensive
Ambience 5 -- One of the best roof top places in Juhu.
Service 5-- Really good and quick service.
Visited this place for Valentines . The ambience is 10/10 and the staff is very polite and helpful. Food is excellent . If you get an opportunity the outdoor seating i would recommend
Enjoyed every bit of moments with u guys.what to say mouth watering Goan food.amazing sea food experience.good ambience.specially many thanks to operations head cum chef MR.VIKRAM sir for his hospitality
What a lovely place. Takes you to Goa. The outdoor setting is pretty and peaceful and add to it present Mumbai weather it was perfect. Loved the food. I was advised to try the stuffed calamari and it lived up to the hype.
Overall good food, Lovely place and good service. Miss Goa... you know where to find it in Mumbai.
Outside sitting is good for drinking and to catch up with friends.
Food items are limited but whatever is there is slurrrrppcious.
Check food menu before heading to this amazing place
I love this place. The vibe int the outside area is great for getting drinks. All the food I've tried here is amazing. I particularly enjoyed the 150 year pork recipe and the sun-dried tomato gnocci appetizer, the chicken Xacuti (amazing if you like spicy food) with butter garlic poi, and the bread butter pudding and lemon cheesecake for dessert. The butter garlic prawns are really good too. I shall try out more seafood in my next few visits.
The only place in Mumbai that serves authentic Goan food, whenever I go to this place sadly I find it empty. Sometimes there’s no value for quality but just stupid trends. Must visit.
For all the goan food lovers - This is one place in Mumbai you just cannot miss out on!!
I had always bookmarked House of Lloyds, Candolim but for some reason or the other we never made it there. So when their outlet opened up at Juhu I jumped up with joy.
I have been here on 2 occasions. Loved their ambience - I prefer the outdoor area for dinner.. perfect lighting & live music.
We tried their Prawn Recheado, Xinanio rawa (Mussel rawa fry), Baga style baked crabs, Stuffed calamari, Beach style fish rawa (surmai rawa fry) for starters.
We also had Grandma Emina's Beef Roulade which was a bit too spicy for me. But the beef mince was so well prepared & stuffed with goan sausages - chorizo. Unfortunately there was no Poi (goan bread made with toddy) so we had to manage with pav.
You gotta try their Seafood thali - priced at Rs 800 this was worth every penny!! The thali consists of Fried fish - pomfret, Rice, Poi, Papad, Salad, Pickle, Crab curry, Prawn & okra curry, Kismoor (mix of dried prawns/javla with grated coconut), Tisreo (clams), kokum curry & Bebinca with vanilla ice cream for dessert.
Last but not the least - Serradura.. absolutely loved it!!
I'm definitely coming back to this place as I still have to try a whole lot of dishes on their menu.
P.S. This place is a bit pricey but it's definitely worth the price!!
Good Goan food, lovely ambience and had a live singer.
A nice place for a couple of drinks, music and conversation. Do not expect loud music or silence, the ambience is somewhere in the middle.
And yes, we do have some really good and amazing Goan food in Mumbai now! Quality, quantity, ambience, service.. everything was so good. We absolutely loved it to the core. The Thali we had was very thoughtfully made, everything it contained was succulent. Recommended for your Weekend lunch. In photos, Mackerel Cutlet, Seafood Thali, Mutton Thali and the very popular Goan dessert, warm Bebinca with Vanilla Ice cream. ❤️ #Bliss
Let’s start with the approach ... just climb a few stairs and there u see ... the place does have a Goan touch ... some stars hanging around the corner .. high table and chairs outside .. you have also a place to dine inside ...
smoking allowed outside on the terrace area... Barbeque is set outside ... and the aroma will tingle ur tongue ...
Goan delicacies taste as good .. must try fish tava fry and prawn tava fry . Try the authentic prawn curry rice .,, amazing ..
It’s like a chilled out place .. and on Friday’s there is live music ... have ur request sung by the lady singing for you..
staff is very friendly ... a must go
Won @foodofmumbai's giveaway to The House of Lloyd, Juhu.
House of Lloyd is a Goan-Portuguese restaurant, a hidden gem, around Juhu Tara road which is open all days, with a unique 'Evening only' timings on weekdays, and open full day on weekends.
It does justice to its theme, maintains Goan vibe.
How? - 1. Located near the sea.
2. Serves fresh caught fish, barbecues, etc
3. Ambient Outdoor seating with dim lighting.
4. Goan Music
5. Beautiful decor channeling goa
6. Goan recipes and menu card showcasing Goa's prominent features, eg - 'Bringing to you the taste of a breezy paradise with our magical concoctions - take a sip and find yourself on a vacation in Goa'
What we ordered - Goan Red Rice Arancini, Spring Vegetable Pan Rolls, Bebinca with Ice cream.
Goan Red Rice Arancini - Fried Rice Balls with crispy rice flavored with Bafad masala. It's a popular coastal recipe made using Ukada chawal. No regrets to the choice as this one doesn't disappoint and makes it a lively experience. The bafad masala was something new to our taste buds.
Spring Vegetable pan Roll - a thin pancake stuffed with minced vegetables with traces of cheese, deep fried. There was completeness to this and no traces of flaw. Loved it to Eternity.
Bebinca with ice cream - An indo-portuguese pudding also known as a layered cake, was the king! It is a festive goan dessert. The layers looked distinct. Picturesque! Each bite makes you groove to the goan music. Again a choice unregrettable and unforgettable.
Visit the House of Lloyd if you truly want a Goan end to your week, a Goan kick to your apetite, a Goan memory to reminesce and a Goan replica if you haven't been to goa and planning one.
To end with, thehungerhormone wouldn't mind making a mention of @thehouseoflloyd's own quote - 'To make you feel spoiled for choice, we' ve put together a bunch of hearty portions made with recipes from Goa, and garnished with whole lot of love '
Follow thehungerhormone on instagram for reviews, alerts and offers.
Flawless. The goan ambience with live music, the high chair around the outdoor bar with an Indoor fine dine seating and just amazing flavoured food which is rich in quality and quantity is what leads you name a place house of Lloyd.
The curry is, what the manager said, made by Mr Lloyds mother and God does it work!!. I had the chicken xacuti with mutton sukkem with steam rice and pav respectively. Both were flawless and distinct in its taste.
Gulped it down with sula chavignon red wine and it was a perfect evening.
All in all for 1800 bucks, it was worth the penny. Don't miss this place. Especially in the evening
I loved the interiors. And the mains, were absolutely scrumptious. Could use a little work on the starters and service. But I had a great time nonetheless!
Went for a very early dinner on a week day. So the place was quiet and there weren’t too many customers. Has a couple of gins, and just 2 dishes - the mutton samosas that’s we’re flaky and yummy, and the prawn pickle with garlic poi bread which was lip smacking my delicious, spicy and tangy.
Can’t wait to go back and try more stuff on their menu!
Celebrated our anniversary here last evening. Wasn't sure if it would be the authentic Goan stuff, being a Goan myself, I can be pretty critical if it's not done right. Boy, was I delighted with everything that came our way! The Rechead Squids were on point, though I believe it could be done a little more red! The Lobster in Butter Garlic was the highlight of the evening, we devoured it! Right from the presentation, to the succulence, it was a gastronomical crustacean waiting to be dug into! And if that wasn't enough, the Boiled Rice and Beef Green Curry just transported me to Goa! Salivating as I write this! Thank you House of Lloyd! Will certainly be back for more!
If ur a Sea Food lover this place should be on ur Bucket List.
U can call for most items on the menu and they won't disappoint you. The items like Prawns and Fish in rechardo masala are a must try and quite close to the kinds you find in Goa.
I would also recommend the Mapusa Chicken Rolls
Just amazing. Visited this place with the hubby for Christmas dinner and what a treat twas. This the reason for a review.
Goan themed menu....
Ordered
Prawns butter garlic : I usually avoid prawns outside unless it's cooked at home.
And boy did this surprise me. I so fresh and we'll cooked. I butter garlic in its perfection.
Assad tenderloin :beuatifully seared steak in goan spices.
Beef Steak made by the chef check out the pics cause I have no words to describe it.
And Caramel custard for dessert.
I am definitely going to be regular.
An awesome place and really good food! The best part is that the kids enjoyed the food too. We stuffed ourselves but we still had some space for bibinca and ice-cream 😉. The only thing that disappointed us was that they had poi on their menu and when we asked for it, they said they didn't have it....
The vibe is nice. The food was good. The service was good but too much we felt. The waiter came to us every 10 mins asking if we need anything. That was a little annoying as we were trying to have a conversation. Its a nice place for dinner if you wanna chill.
Place is Awesome Food , Ambiance , Service , Music , Space is A.c. Area or Open Air . it's One Place you need to visit if a Non Veg , You will Love it ... my Kinda Place Barbeque Night is just Awesome , Pork Spare Ribs , Steak , Prawns , King Fish , Chicken , Mash Potatoes and the Salads are Just Awesome ... I Loved the Beet Root Salad ..
Additions would like to see ... Lloyd take Note 😀 Barbeque Night .
Steamed Veggies
Fried Potatoes Wedges
Any Kind of Desert for the End.
All In the Barbeque Night Menu 😀
Back Soon Again ...
Really liked the ambiance of the restaurant.
Service was good, David was friendly and helpful with suggestions.
The cocum prawns were tasty - but the prawns were a bit over cooked (chewy).
We also ordered the Goan fish curry (fish was really fresh) the curry was good but the only draw back was, that the curry was way too spicy!
The baked crabs were really good and the barbecue pork chop was really well made and succulent.
We wrapped it all up with the lemon cheese cake, which was yum!
P.s- it would be great if they could offer some coffee (espresso) on their menu, to have with dessert.
Wow a very pleasant surprise. Lovely ambience, homely Goa chill-out vibe mixed with an elegant fine dining experience. The food is delicious, authentic flavours, great choices and decently priced. Excellent service and definitely one of the finer places to go to in Juhu for a relaxed night out with simply mouth watering dishes. A nice touch with good Live music, but will hope to see maybe full sized live bands perform too, that will sky rocket this spot into being THE place to be. One of my pics, is of empty plates, simply because we swiped clean all the delicious food.
The best place for sea food. The best Goan place in town. I keep going here all the time. The best Goan chilli fry sausage and amaze fish curry. The butter garlic calamari is also fab
This has been one of my favourite restaurants to visit in Goa from the time it was just Lloyd's.... I followed his journey to the House and just had to visit the newly opened Mumbai branch....
I was not disappointed.... the quality of both the food and service was excellent... we enjoyed Zomato Gold privilege on our drinks and had the Goan Sausage Pate and for main course the iconic pork chops....
Absolute satisfaction.
I was eyeing this place for a couple of months and then finally paid a visit. I must say, i wasnt disappointed one bit! Loved the decor, the nice stairway and the terrace seating (if only the view outside was not the juhu tara traffic). The staff was friendly and the menu mouth-watering. Startd off wth baga style baked crabs and a sula red with it (i knw white wine pairs well wth crabs, but since we ordered a bottle, we said, what the heck). Although the crabs were half baked and not exactly the way they do at brittos, they were yummy nevertheless. The sausages after tht were awesome too. If only we got poi, and not pao that day... there were pork chops and steak on the menu whch i decided to i leave for my next visit. And moved on to the lemon cheese cake, which was yummy too! All in all, a great experience. Lookng forward to the next time! Def worth a visit. And make it for dinner time. Kavita Acharekar
We had a 22 people group of family members yesterday and had a good experience. Niraj , the assistant manager was very good and helped us pre set the menu. He and another of his team mate , vinay, didn't let us over order. We being konkanis from karwar loved the authentic goan food. Non veg no doubt was good (as per all non vegetarians in the grp) But I being a vegetarian, wished there were more options for veg. However i loved the veg xacutti and the veg curry as well. I would suggest to also include some chapatis and dosas (like karwari konkanis prefer) in the menu as it just have pavs and pois as its a healthier option . A little like karwari konkani food inclusion will be great! The staff was very helpful and service was great! They helped us set up the balloons and table for cake cutting .i would definitely recommend this place for ppl craving goan food.
House of Lloyd , stumbled across this place when I was in the same area it's just above Grandmama's Cafe ahead of Sea Princess or bang opposite Estella.
Being a vegetarian Didn't go there with much expectations but this place is amazing 💖
They have 2 sections outdoor and indoor, we sat out as AC section was full with families even on a weekday .
We had a starter Goan Pan rolls- super soft and cheesy ,must try.
We had veg GOAN CURRY with pulao - it was super spicy and very flavourful .I was amazed when I had the first bite.
I'm taking away 1 star as my main course came 1st and then the starter and they had no explanation to it.
Another beautiful place we discovered... food is tasty, beautiful ambience, perfect for romantic date .
PS: purely non-veg though, it’s Goan cuisine
First things first, Food was tasty, portions perfect with no nonsense ambience and unbeatable service.
Now let’s talk...we ordered for seafood Thali, for all seafood lovers this is what you dream for in a Thali,
Pomfret fry(crispy on the out and meat that melts),
clams(perfectly cooked),
ravas curry(spiced to perfection),
prawn curry(juicy to the core),
crab masala(the best ever) and
kismoor(explosion of flavors)
Serra Dura(too tasty to be true)
This was along with Bread and rice.
To top it all the presentation was spot on with admirable detailing.
If you are a seafood lover then you should not miss this for the world.
A special mention to Gautam in the management who made sure that a perfect lunch is never out of fashion.
This place is located in juhu near sea princess. It has two seatings. It's famous for goan food. Zomato gold worked smoothly. Talking about food I ordered one main course and starter which was recommended by the staff as I was confused. But the goan curry was delicious. Quantity is less but ok for two person. Staff are very helpful and attentive.

Seafood always works for me... i came across a cool 'Seafood thali experience' deal at House of Lloyd in Juhu at just 1000 bucks per person and immediately had to book this for the FamJam.. a really cool place that teleports you to Goa with its vibe and food...read my experience in the pictures I've put up! The place is on the expensive side and I have friends who've not had a great experience when they went a la carte but we had a scrumptious meal and got to taste a bit of everything! The Pomfret and prawns were particularly fresh and tasty. I'd definitely go back! Chill Goan Vibes in Mumbai are promising enough for a lazy Sunday..
Dinned out with my family the other day.
And I must say, the food was absolutely scrumptious!
Took a few pictures of the thing's we had apart from the thing's we didn't (because we were hungry 😋)
Highly recommend the Tiger Prawns in Butter Garlic Sauce, Pork Chops, Fish Rachado and the World's best Sorpotel (accompanied with Sannas)
For a taste of unique taste of Goa in a Mumbai restaurant, I'd recommend this place.
The food was absolutely fabulous. The ambience made me feel like I'm abroad with a pinch of Goan vibes as well. Loved it througly. Do recommend this place to anybody who wants to indulge in gluttony.
House of Lloyd, Juhu, has a wonderful ambience, the staff & Chef on duty was customer-friendly & took special care of our preference of spice & flavour. The variety of Goan cuisine is great & the prawn curry was delicious. Also the sweet potato gnocchi & mutton mince samosas & the bread pudding with a dash of liqueur were excellent. Only the starters portions can be better. Would certainly visit again to try out their thali.
The most amazing place for a relaxed Sunday lunch. It’s a tiny slice of Goa right in the middle of a busy Mumbai. The sausage chilly fry and poi were yummiest.
Along with the amazing food, Gautam makes sure the service is impeccable and is a back bone to the house !
A relaxed ambience coupled with some good live music is something that will make you want to visit again.
We wished we had the appetite to order everything that was on the menu as it all sounded so yum. However we met Chef Llyod and asked him to order whatever he thinks is good as per our taste buds description.
His recommendations Started with: Mapusas Famous Chicken Pan Rolls , Nerissas Peri Peri Chicken, Llyods Homestyle Mutton Potato Chops, Butter Garlic Calamari.
Main course: Grandma Ermimas Beef Roulade with Poi and Sorpotel with Sannas.
Chef Llyod was kind enough to offer to prepare a Non Spicy grilled Chicken off the menu for my child.
Dessert: Cream Caramel Custard and Serradura
Food: 5/5
Ambience: 5/5
Price: Knowing how expensive Sea Food is and to import stuff from his Goa restaurant, his dishes are very well priced.
I would most definitely visit again to try all what I could not and Strongly recommend people to visit.
Thank you Chef Llyod.
Extremely impressed by the staff. They know their food right and offer the perfect suggestions.
As a vegetarian I avoid Goan places as mostly their food is not as impressive for the vegetarian. But this one is like a breeze of fresh air.
I can’t choose which to one dish I liked most as everything was beautiful including the cocktails.
I recommend this place to every vegetarian foodie, must try. And incase you have the manager serving you himself don’t doubt his confidence. They are actually that good.
This place is located above the Grandmama’s cafe in Juhu. Place is very happening, you’ll get good food plus good ambience and music there. Typical goan food is provided there which is amazing, but the only drawback is it’s not a pocket friendly place and the quantity is not that great, overall it’s a good place to visit.
Tried House of Lloyd's for the first time! I was very excited about this place coz it serves Goan cuisine and OMG, I was absolutely blown with the taste of the food and the level of service. As soon as you enter the place, the open roof top vibe, the welcoming bar area, the outside seating and the smell of fresh meat and sea food hitting the barbecue just creates the perfect ambience! We sat in and those illustrations and plates on the walls made us feel like we were in Goa!
Coming to the food, I promise you if ambience is 5/5 the food is a 10/5! I don't feel like I need to try any other place for authentic Goan food! The food was piping hot and tasted like heaven! I absolutely recommend this place whether you're going with your girlfriend or your family! This place is LEGIT and GOAN to its core! See you soon House of Lloyd!
Must Try: Lamb Chops, Pork Vindaloo, Tongue, Serra Dura
HOUSE OF LLOYD! Wow wow wow! Kudos to the amazing team that brings out some amazing and brilliant food that warms your soul! Must try are the awesome beef tongues, Croquettes and my personal favorite the Tamarind Prawn Curry (To die for). Located just above Grandmama's Cafe at Juhu, its a perfect location and the ambience and live music just adds to the perfect dinner! Guys must go here! You are an for an absolutely amazing taste of goa with some twists!!!
Excellent goan style food and good service and the best is that the place is kid friendly even on weekends.
We had the seafood dishes and they were really tasty and well marinated.
Food is fantastic. Takes a little time for the food to reach the table but its worth it.
I recommend the Peri Peri chicken as a starter and the sausage pulao. The pork sorpotel is really nice. Watch it, the food has a chilli kick to it.
Will definitely visit again
A must visit with friends... family.... a date perhaps 😉.. not that I went on one .. ahem!! Can visit them again. I was also at Lloyd's humble beginnings in Goa 2004. Don't know him personally, but enjoyed then and now. Great job and keep up the standard .. all the way and always 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Love the Ambience and the food! The taste was very authentic. Had the butter garlic poi, butter garlic prawns, chicken xacuti and almond chocolate fudge. Everything was perfect, only the prawns were a little hard. The Service was excellent as well! Will definitely go back.
Do- BBQ chicken & the fish cutlets. For the veggies - Muttabal and the Patato Chops.
Don’t- (the showstopper) lemon Butter fish - Undercooked. Weird taste
Hope they improve the taste of the fish curry and the overwhelming Thali.
Started of as a BBQ tent in candolim, and that makes BBQ’s just their thing.
food is a 3, but I gave it a 1 up for the veranda Bar, seating and live music.
It’s above Grandmama’s Cafe. I just landed up upstairs since Grandmama’s had waiting. I really wasn’t aware of this place. It’s a pretty good Sunday brunch place with live music and typical Goan vibes. I ordered Beach Style Recheado Fish and Chicken Cafreal. The Fish was extraordinarily good, soft, crisp, juicy. Perfect. Whereas, Chicken was difficult to cut but the taste was really good and juicy. I will definetly tell the readers to visit. You won’t be disappointed! People who love sea food will love the spread of crabs and prawns.
Food quality is really appreciable. I got to interact with one of the chefs who was very sweet and polite.
Pricing is a bit on the higher side. All the food had a different and good taste.
All in all a good fine dining experience. Could have been better if it was a bit less crowded.
The team at HOL take a bow. Excellent food and service, authentic tastes with a touch of difference, it's my new favourite go-to place in my part of town.
My compliments to David (not from Goa) and Chef Vikram.
The suggestions came in most useful and the food so good that the pav was used to wipe clean the serving dish of every drop of flavor.
Price point Rs 1250+ pp with a drink, dessert, service n taxes.
Open terrace venue with authentic Goan food & sea breeze, this place is definitely a visit once! Good service & comfy seating too...Had a lovely time!!
The green mussels rawa fry! And the seafood thali. Both very very good---but the mussels in particular are not to be missed. Sadly they are imported from somewhere (New Zealand maybe), but if you can forgive the food miles...get 'em.
House of Lloyd! You stunner restaurant!
I think it’s been years since I went to a restaurant and walked out with a complete wow-factor experience, a place that I’d actually want to go back to and tell people about!
Th service, food and ambience were all so perfect!
Stopped by with three of my friends last night.
We ordered
Peach Ice Teas to drink (they were so good by the way, we ended up ordering 6 of them between the 3 of us)
Stuffed Calamari
Baked Crabs
Calamari Rechado
Pork Chops
Tenderloin Beef Croquets
Kokum Prawns
Rawa Mussels
Serradura
Strawberry Cheesecake
The food was absolutely phenomenal, there wasn’t one dish that didn’t hit the spot. The Baked Crabs, Rechado, Pork Chops, Kokum Prawns were just mind blowing, everything else was super too but these dishes were just top!
Perfectly spiced, good portion sizes overall!
The Serradura stole my heart, and then turned it into mush, I’m in love.
Keep it up. I’m really looking forward to visiting again, soon! :)
Thank you for such an amazing evening.
The stairs to House of Llyod are very reminiscent of Goa and I love how it winds up to the terrace of the restaurant..the ambience is lovely and the live music really adds that special touch..If it wasn’t for traffic sounds I’d have felt like I was on an upscale beach shack in Goa. My only peeve was the high
chair bar stool vibe which I found to be incredibly uncomfortable and we asked to be moved to lower seating cause of that..
Moving on to the food:-
Tenderloin beef croquettes - Really beautifully spiced and ground..nothing that blew my mind..I wish it had been served with a dipping sauce to help combat the dryness.
Baga style baked crabs - Now this blew my mind, rich creamy melts in mouth feeling..so good..this ones definitely a must order.
Sungta solache (kokum prawns) - When you hear kokum you feel that the taste is inevitably going to be overpowering but man oh man was this one a fantastic surprise..lightly spiced the flavour explodes on your taste buds and the prawns were cooked to perfection.
Stuffed calamari - This was another hit on their menu, when you cut in all the juice and stuffing just slips out..so good..again the spice was just right.
Xinanio rawa (fried mussels) - Quite heavily spiced, in case you can’t deal with the spicy I suggest you give this a miss..that being said It was delicious and the taste is only elevated further with a generous squeeze of that lemon.
Calamari rechad - Always a favourite, where ever we go this ones a must order and this didn’t disappoint as usual!
Bbq Pork chops - This one was the best thing we ordered off the menu, juicy, succulent, the perfect spice rub, the perfect crust, the fat just melts in your mouth..never have I ever enjoyed a pork chop this much..
Desserts:-
Serradura - I wish I had the words to explain how amazing this dessert is..top class dessert and a must order for everyone
Strawberry cheesecake - Even this one was super tasty..absolutely loved this one..
We ordered peach ice tea which was super refreshing and tasty.
Special mention to their staff that was honest, competent, accommodating and on top of service.
However, there’s definitely a need for wet wipes on the table because of how tasty the food is you tend to dig in with your hands..
All in all, fantastic sensory experience overall.

Love this cafe.
Different cuisine, mostly Goan cuisine, good ambience, warm lights and very good staff.
The interiors are done well.
Service is also good and food is delicious.
If you haven’t try Goan cuisine then you must visit this.
If you had Goan cuisine then try this out.
Lovely place with beautiful outdoor seatings. If you are craving for some authentic Goan food, this is the place to be. A bit on the expensive side compared to other Goan restaurants I have visited, but once u have their food you will definitely think its worth the money. Must try:
Assad Pork
Vindaloo
Sorpotel with Poli/Sanna
We also did try Tongue Roast but there was a bit too much of Turmeric in its marination, hence didn't like it too much.

Waiters wear white shirts and beige pants.
Came here for date night, which turned out to be a babysitting gig because my eldest insisted that he wanted to eat goan food.
Live music, nice view of the street and a nice bar. It does have a hint of Goa about it.
Came here for poee (or poi ) which is a goan beard. Unfortunately, it wasn't available that day, so I should have given them a call before. Ate the mussels, which were were juice, fat and delicious but spicey . The sarpotel, was amazing and spicey. The BBQ cafreal chicken was great. A slab of protein with a little salad for the meat eaters.
Place attracts a good crowd too.
Alcohol, yay!
