I visited the place first time but i really liked the food ambience service and the best part was the live orchestra with bollywood songs i wud definately visit again and wud really recommed all that place is really nice.
I went there for the first time and I simply loved it.... Just loved the ambience and the way everything is been made, ryt from the chairs to the facts that are been put up to the way the menu cards r hung... everything seemed just perfect. Enjoyed the live music there. The person sang wonderful bollywood as well as Hollywood songs.
Coming to food, everything that we ordered satisfied our taste buds especially the vegetable suggested by the chef.
Enjoyed the spicy guava juice.
Overall a lively as well as lovely experience.

There is an interesting story of mine with cafe haqq se. I am a food lover and so I always check the menu of the place and plan a visit. The menu of haqq se always kept me skeptical as I felt they don't have good options or any dishes which will be filling enough. And so I always used to avoid coming here. But finally I visited here couple of days back, we were a big group of 13 people and ideally we wanted to enjoy the live music. And my overall experience which comes to the satisfaction over food , services, the enviornment created due to the music was all up to the Mark. Not to miss even the mocktails in their list were really enjoyed by everyone there and our celebration ended with amazing tracks sung by these 2 asrtists Akshay ( vocals ) and Kunal ( guitar ). With the perfect blend of scrumptious dishes and sound soothing artists , one's evening ends with a blissful time.
The ambience has a fusion feel to it with the Indian graffiti on one wall and cogs & wheels on another. And so does the menu with interestingly named food options. Tried out the veg pan’naan pockets and the biryani bake - both the dishes were fairly innovative but none of them stood out for me. The service was good and so were the inbetweeners (mini papad accompaniments, a brilliant mango chuski to clear the palate before main course, and a paan dish to end food with). What did stand out though, was the live performance by Akshay Karnik (team Sound & Soul), who made the culinary experience mellifluous. Will return for the performance if not anything else.
Have visited this place sometime back. Quiet liked the place and the music. A singer called rafi with his band were playing, had a great time. Food also is decent.

We actually spent more than 3 hours and still thought it’s just been half an hour or so we have settled in ... Doesn’t it say it all :-) :-) !! Lovely place, Kudos to the live band all credit goes to them they really played well and mixed the songs just right ... if you like Bollywood music and just want to enjoy unplugged.. Just don’t think and go with your loved ones..

A beautifully decorated place specially the bar counter though didnt drank any since it was too hot on saturday noon. This place Serves food in a very unique manner. I ordered farsan satey to all gujju’s it is very tasty dish which includes khaman dhokla, white dhokla and khandvi. The peanut chutney along with it tasted yum. (Increase the quantity of peanut chutney). The next dish was “TEH” biryani bake. The very first time i tried biryani with cheese which was so nicely baked in layers. It is one of the best thing to try and it is one of the signature creation of CAFE HAQQ SE..!!
We had a wonderful experience there. For the people waiting out there to try something so traditional and ethnic this is the right place. For all those pretty things you served on our table. We thank you. 💕

Visited this cafe for the very first time last Saturday. Went there with a colleague. It was just the two of us and we weren’t quite sure what to expect of the night as we’d both never been to this place.
It was easy to locate, as its in Kamala mills itself.
The welcoming staff at the entrance was warm.
We had booked a table, so we were escorted immediately to our table. The seating was low, and I was in heels, so not very comfortable.
We placed our order- veg. tandoori momos, potato wedges, a mocktail and few rounds of whiskey.
The whiskey was genuine and served in a fancy whiskey glass. Tandoori momos were yum. The mocktail and potato wedges however were a disappointment.
The beauty of the place was the live music. Rafi Khan and band were fabulous. Their connect with the crowd and choice of songs was fabulous.
We had a great time here. The crowd seemed to be enjoying to the fullest.
The crockery was all fancy and going with the decor of the place. Washrooms were clean at all times. The place is decently priced. It was a great Saturday night.
I would definitely recommend this place. :)

A very happening place with a lot to order. The quantity is not so generous but the taste is good. Ambiance, live music, everything checks out perfectly for a good dine out.
I entered cafe haqq se after checking nearly entire Kamla Mill compounds and it turned it to be a decent experience. The place has nice seating arrangement with interesting decors!
Coming to food, I did not find the food outstanding. It was kinda okay, however, there were surprise elements which are worth mentioning.
After starters, to taste the change they gave a small version of chuski, this was a new concept to me. Once, we were done with main course they gave jellys which were quite nice as well.
Cafe has arrangement for live music, which I totally recommend. All in all, do visit the place, if you want to sit and talk while enjoying the live music. However, do not have high expectations from food.

Had an Amazing time here last night. Went for a dinner date. Was perfect! - the food, the staff, the ambience. There was live music and the artists' performance added to the romantic mood. I'd like to tell the singer that you have an amazing voice. The staff was humble and courteous.

Went for A Sunday Brunch/ Lunch.. The live musician Mr. Sigfred Dias was just awesome!! He played a mix of really nice Hindi and English songs ( sang and played the guitar himself).
The ambience and decor was really nice too and the staff was very friendly.

Have not given a full 5 as I felt the portion of some of the starters was a little small and they didn’t have a particular beverage mentioned on the menu.
Overall had a wonderful experience- and most of it was attributed to the wonderful musician!

It’s a baked gulab jamun with a layer of sweet and smooth Rabri anglaise (French word for English Cream) paired up with salted Toffee ice- Cream. The ice cream perfectly balances the sweet & salty quotients.

Lip smacking food. Amazing ambiance. Superb Live Band. We all ate till we couldn't eat anymore absolutely yummy food and danced the night away while the band rocked the dance floor. Definitely one of the best places for dinner in South Mumbai.
For food and drinks, would have rated this place 3.5, but the live singing there is the winner. Love the vibe here. Its difficult to get a table, booking a table is highly recommended.

Traditional Indian dishes cooked in a unique manner
after checking a few places among the thousands in kamla mills, we went to this restaurant on a Friday evening. initially it was empty but soon became packed and slowly we realized why. the food was absolutely delicious that too served in style. innovative drinks but not a single one disappointed us. we absolutely loved the live music where two fellows sang a variety of all time favorite songs. even the desert was awesome. would love to go again and suggest all to give it a try if not given already.
Visited this place with office colleagues.. It was an amazing experience...their Butter chicken a la Kiev is a must try for butter chicken lovers... It was really an inside out experience as the curry was dripping out of the chicken breast and overall it was a really buttery juicy affair... Limited options for deserts but nonetheless the Gooey Chocolate brownie and the pista jam pie were outstanding!!!

Other than the service at this place, everything else here cannot be flawed. It will be extremely difficult to find any mistakes at this place. The food is extremely delicious and innovative & a food lovers delight. The ambience is rustic and beautiful and paired with their live music it will keep your legs tapping. This places would deserve a 5/5 however the service is extremely slow for both drinks and food even when the place wasn't busy.

I absolutely love the vibe here, it's so family oriented yet you can have an amazing Friday night here with friends. Their live singing with such delectable indian food is literally a dream come true for me. It's so lively and energetic, the singers are so so talented and they manage to grasp the audience every time that I've been here.
Coming to the food
1. Khaas chicken kebabs - they're taste like mutton but they're actually delicious minced chicken kebab, my absolute favourite
2. Bamboo Chicken - really yummy, perfectly cooked
3. Butter chicken - their concept is quite different, it's chicken with a fried coating and butter inside with separate gravy to drizzle on the chicken. It is yummy crunchy very different. Worth trying
4. dal makhani - besides Pali Bhavan and ITC bukhara, Haqq Se's Dal does justice to black dal for me personally.
I've tried the desserts, do not remember either of the names. It's pocket friendly with such delicious food and really efficient friendly service.
Lovely huge place with so good music. It's the guitar this person plays and sings here that uplifts the aura of the place making people feel happy. And that is combined with good food which is well presented and cooked in various ways.

Will 1st start with reasons why Cafe Haqq Se is a must visit - The Live Performances.
Music is generally a mix of Bollywood & Sufi. Rafi / Rafique & Siddhanth are outstanding. The place usually comes alive after 10:30-11:00pm. During the last one hour music often switches to hits of 80's & 90's and has people singing along and dancing besides the tables itself. Service & ambience is nice as well
Reason to not visit: The Food
The dishes by name are quite experimental & enticing, but didn't really live up to the image I made up in my head. Portions were fine but it terms of taste, most dishes seemed to be lacking on some aspect or the order.
What we did like were Prawns Brandee Malai & Hot Cheese Fondue Batasha - unique ingredients & flavors put together to create a novel dish.
Prices were a bit on the higher side - Veg starters would cost about Rs 450 & Non-veg starters around Rs 550; mocktails - Rs 250; Long Island Iced Tea - Rs 650 (with service charge & taxes)
MUST TRY: If you enjoy live performances - especially Bollywood

Appetizers - Koyley ke Jhinge
The size and tenderness of the prawns was better than i expected. They were opened and grilled but very easy to de-shell. Although the highlight of the dish is the Himalayan Red Chilli Sauce! It tastes simply superb
Second Appetizer - Tandoori Momos-Chicken
Again, it was an absolute delight to eat. The idea just works, this is another dish that caught me by surprise since I didn't expect so much out of it.
Mains - Wild Mushroom Kerala Fricassee
A really refreshing preparation to have for anyone who loves the flavour of coconut in their food (like me ;)). Not very strong in flavour, this grazy, but with the wild mushrooms and onions, it just hits the spot!
The Sheer Paratha was average, there was no surprise element here but that's not to say it was bad. All I can say is that I've had an authentic Lucknowi Sheermaal and this was different
For Deserts - Pista Jaam Pe
Again, a very nice take on Indian deserts! I absolutely loves it. Wasn't too sweet, very balanced taste.
Delivery - The Wild Mushroom Fricassee box was opened when I received it but there wasn't much spill so that was fine. Apart from that, the dishes were well packed and easy to eat from.
In conclusion, I would love to try more dishes at Cafe Haqq Se, this is one of those places with a good take on "Modern Indian Cuisine".
We had been to this place on couple of days back. Someone recommended it to us. The place was buzzing and the staff carried a smile . We went with our server alams suggestion and really enjoyed the food. He offered us lamb chops and brandie prawns . Both the starters were superb. The experience got even better with the music, surprisingly best cocktails. One shud try the cocktails there which are not a part of the menu anywhere else in Mumbai . delicacies in the mains category are mouth watering too.
Overall a wonderful place to be .
Great place to visit with good music and a Live band performing on a Saturday evening. Make sure get your reservations in advance else you would not get a seating space. Service is a bit slow and calling the staff becomes difficult given the crowd gathered during the peak evening party hours. The place has got a vintage ambiance. On my recent visit to Cafe Haqq Se, I tried out this very lip-smacking desert. It is a modified form of Gulab Jamun. The Gulab jamun is well baked and stuffed with loads of pistas. Accompanied by Rabdi and a scoop of Salted toffee icecream, every bite of it was delicious and just melted in the mouth.💯😋
Altogether, I fell in love with the superbly done ambience of this place and you should definitely visit it if you prefer having desi food with a modern twist.😍🥙

It's a white sauce based very liquidy vegetable dish with a sour after taste. It's not very eatable with a Pan naan that they provide since the gravy is runny.
2. Pan naan for those who love cheese naan is a good option with some other vegetable dish since all the tastes as suggested were very mild for a Punjabi dish.
Overall nice ambience for a night off and live music .

I have been here twice now. I love the overall feel of the place. Food is really lip-smacking. The cuisine is an eclectic mix of various Indian states. You can go ahead and order anything, experiment all you like, I assure you, it will be worth it.

Why I have not given a higher rating, you say?
Well this place is a bit on the expensive side, the service staff though polite and nice, doesn't need to hover so much to ask you after every dish how it was.
Also they offer small plates of most dishes at a little more than half the price, which is great really if you want to try more dishes, my problem is that the quantity offered (at least in starters) is less than half.
Otherwise a great place to go to if you want an assured good meal, but then so are many others in Lower Parel and Worli.

Visited this place on a Saturday night. It was relatively empty. The ambiance is great and the live music was amazing. Although it's really loud to be able to converse, the music was good. The food on the whole was decent. Some dishes were particularly good while the others not so good. Jain food is particularly good and for a change has many options. They have a signature dish where the chef comes and prepares it for you. That's a must try.
All in all, a good place to go if you don't wish to have a quiet and conversational night.

Situated at the left corner besides Grandmama's Cafe @Kamala Mills. We went over here on a weekday and were surprised to find out that live music was going on that too with soothing songs. Though they have less menu items but they still taste the best. Very photogenic place and highly approachable Staff are some of the features of this restaurant.
We visited this cafe on saturday evening and ambience is just perfect. They have live bollywood music which very few places in Mumbai offer and seating arrangement is also good,tables are not close to each other. Awesome music !! food is kinda standard but still super fun. Must do for a fun nite with friends or even family. Esp band alok is one of the best.
If you want a relaxed night with some acoustic Bollywood music and an ambience that's truly unique - go to cafe haqq se. You might get flustered by too many good choices but I don't think you can really go wrong with much. The starters however are notches above the main course offerings.

A great place to savour some good old Indian food with a touch of innovation and a dash of creativity!
The ambience, decor, furnishings all add up to create a mood of relaxation and the music sets the tone for the good things ahead. The staff is courtious and readily makes recommendations.
In our previous visits, we have tried the Bamboo Chicken and Tandoori Chicken Momos and both ate not to be missed. This time we tried the following and loved every bit :-
Kokum Imli Margarita - The coastal favourite kukum served in both frozen and liquid version.
Peru Chatpata - A sweet and spicy guava flavoured drink...very refreshing
First Course
Bhune Tawa Chops - succulemt Mutton chops, mildly spiced . Slowroasted in a traditional pot and finished on an heavy iron Tava for a smokey flavour.
Mains
Waza Chicken - Inspired by the Kashmiri Wazwaan, these soft, boneless chicken pieces are cooked in a red masala gravy flavoured with Kashmiri red chillies and finished with mint.
Accompaniments
Keema Paan Naan - Perfected by Haq Se, this version of Naan is light and thin and is yeast free. It is cooked at 400 degree in a oven and is lightly buttered and served. We had the version that had a lamb filling.
Atte Ki Roomali Roti - A thin-layered Whole wheat flatbread , lightly brushed with butter
Desserts
Pista Jam Pie - A dessert unlike any other...the Indian favourite Gulam Jamuns are baked with a layer of Rabdi and anglaise and served with toffee salted caramel icecream and a generous drizzle of pista flakes. A must try

Awesome place to be on weekend with your gang...... Live band is the Highlight of this place...the list of songs is a mix of old , retro and new... will surely make you feel nostalgic of college days.

Great place to visit with good music and a Live band performing on a Saturday evening. Make sure get your reservations in advance else you would not get a seating space. The place have got a vintage ambiance. Overall the place is lively and makes you groove to the music.

A very nice ambience and an Indian Fine Dining Restuarant. The real plus remains - the interiors and over and above lovely and melodious live music played. The singer was very good and made our time memorable.
On the food front - it's good, but nothing too exceptional as well.

I visited this place a year back. Found the menu options extremely innovative. They have a touch of desiness in their drinks menu and that's a welcome change. The ambience is nice with good music. The desserts are extremely delicious and again come with a touch of innovation which adds to the overall experience. The drinks also get you high, unlike many other fancy places
Good music, pleasant service and decent food! Great for a group fun dinner ( not the ones where you want to talk and catch up). Weekend bands are really good, on weekends you might end up testing your luck :)

Its famous for live band only one guitarist who also vocal and drummer, they have 2hr of session like 8 to 10 n so on. Its good if u pre book your table so tht u will get good table near band. Amazing musci n song they play, Awesome ambience and chilled Air condition, helpful staff, food awesome and drinks too. I love virgin mohito drink, but yes quite expensive but worth of Money. One should must visit.

Great food, and ambiance; must try the litti, a lesser known dish from Bihar, and their desserts. The live band set up is a revival of a long gone culture that absolutely needs to make a comeback. Great vibes with the Bollywood numbers ranging from Kishore Kumar to Arijit Singh. Beautiful place to come with family or friends or just a loved one.
Experience was amaze.... i went on sat n it ws for first time i hv emjoyed live music so lovingly. Thrisul band that petforms on sat on bollywood songs was superb. Non stop Live singing as if someone is playing CD. Truely heart loving n happy making experience. For food have very limited choice in veg. But overall it ws good.
