Brilliant food, the menu is very interesting. Ambience is pretty unique. Staff is kind and polite and the service is quick. One of the dishes came in a vintage Indian metal tiffin box. Would certainly recommend it!!

A nice pleasant ambience of this place. The fast food served here is really tasty. The day I went the service was too lathargic. Hardly 2 staff serving the entire full restaurant. The care of management needs to be taken. The staff is courteous n polite otherwise. The bawa food tastes really good. The name of the dishes are typically parsi created. They have many other outlets throught the city. All are good.
Parasi Cafe as name suggest's. Food Quality and Taste is great here. Nice ambiance as well but bit expensive as compare to quantity they offer. Very limited menu all with the pav. But they server very delicious dishes though. Extra Service tax. Over all Good Experience.
Ambiance is really good along with food. Service was good and staff was helpful since we went with a kid. Locating it wasn’t an issue since it is on the corner of the main road plus Valet parking is available.
Food and Ambience too good! Table booking recommended for dinners , specially weekends. The staff are good and would help you with good food suggestions as per your taste. Try the typical parsi food delicacies.
Decent place. Music on certain days. TV to watch shows. Moderately higher price. Good Parsi delicacies. A variety of types of tea. A different variety of sweet dishes. Mocktails, cocktails, fresh fruit juice, liquor and the list goes on....
Typical Parsi joint, good ambiance and service. Food is good and tasty, you should try the favorite dish of Parsi's "Dhanshak" served in an old style tiffin.
You have a good choice of alcohol. The laws are strict and are displayed prominently (photo attached) so that you behave as Parsis behave. Usually the wait time is about 15 minutes at rush hour.
They charge 10% service charge, a bit expensive but overall a good experience.
A recently opened outlet of the famous soda bottle opener walla in powai. It's easy to locate just opposite of powai plaza. Valet parking available
Ambience:
Uber cool place to hangout. Super duper cool art work. With parsi words embossed on the wall, rustic railings and typical painted walls and pink chequered table cloth.
Food.:
It's a place to eat of you are a non vegetarian.they don't have many veg options but u can try the berry pulao. In veg just Order from appetizers. They need to improve their veg section. But from fish to chicken and lamb it's finger licking good. Also don't the pie. It's a complete DISAPPOINTMENT
Service:
Cool and quick service. Everything is on point. The place is slightly expensive. Great place for a date or a group hangout.
1 star less for less veg option. 😊
Great place with trendy ambience. The food is good too. I went with a friend and was treated to a wonderful karaoke night. A definite go-to place for a dinner.
Best food. Egg Kejriwal is must try. You will get various types of coolers. Limited food items . But each dish is tasty. Interior is super classic modern Irani restaurant.
Powai soda bottle openerwala is on the main road. Walkable distance from Powai lake.
It was a good experience at this parsi themed restaurant. I definately should say that they have improved alot over the years. I loved the way they have done their interiors. It’s no wonder that restaurants have become outlets for some of the most creative interiors in the world. Appreciate the efforts taken in designing such a beautiful place, also you should check out the small nursery they have placed outside the restaurant. It was commendable.
We tried below items for the evening we visited, I guess it was a weekend.
Food:
1) Persian Mutton Bowl (Highly Recommended): Bowl full of happiness and nutritious food. The haleem was incredible, the paste was full of consistency blending the flavours of meat, spices, barley and wheat. This spread includes Black lime faloured mutton shank, fava bean rice, mutton cutlet, Haleem, sautéd vegetables in olive oil and garlic flakes, potato sticks. They missed serving the dips I guess.
2) Persian Chicken Bowl (Highly Recommended): Inclusions were Chicken Jujeh kebab, chicken in tomato sauce and berries, chicken in crispy pastry, sautéd vegetables in olive oil, celery salad, pomegranate, barley, cucumber, fava rice, tomato, carrot. The pomegranate were too less in this however I loved the way the chicken was cooked. The celery salad was delicious.
Drinks:
1) Raspberry Soda (Highly Recommended): They use frozen raspberry and not the syrup. Mixed with mint and ginger. Loved every bit of it.
2) Sekan-ji-bin (Recommended): Topped with Lemonade and mint leaves, a must try.
3) Irani Falooda: This drink was not up to the mark what I expected. Hope they will improvise in this one.
4) Chocolate Shake: A decent one.
Overall it is a happening place.
Happy Eating :)

' SodaBottleOpnerwala ' ... How Literally Illustrative and Utterly Lyrical .... since childhood I had a fascinating curiosity about Parsi names, Parsi fire temples - Agiaries, Parsi colonies , Parsi people their noses , self deprecating humour and last but not the least ... actually the most important feature of Parsis is their Philanthropy , their gigantic contribution to Mumbai's holistic development .
The first look of ' Sodabottleopenerwala welcomes you to Diwali ambiance with wonderfully lit patio and what follows is Celebration of delicious Parsi cuisine in the typical Irani cafe. The diners and staff both are joyus in each others warm company.
Guess what I ordered first , yess Tea , but not any plane Jane tea. It's called Staff Tea here ( Homemade Masala Tea : Rs 85 only ) served in a stylish tall glass. It tasted Tea..licious but I could not share it with any1 as per Rules 'No One by Two.'
Reall ... Truly ... SodaBottleOpenerWala, is an exclusive concept in India.
An Old World charm of legendary, wonderful, vibrant , quirky, and classic world of an Irani café.
Irani Café culture came to Mumbai, India with the Persians in the early 50s and today Mumbai boasts of the most number of Irani cafes. Gradually the tradition of such cafes died down due to the fast food chains.
SodaBottleOpenerWala is a concept restaurant with a bar. The familiarity of an Irani café is key to the experience. Architect Clement and Sabina brought that to life.
Irani Cafes are famous for their inexpensive food, eccentric owners and distinctive menus.
Eclectic bar and restaurant with a fun and funky ambiance. Food and drinks are varied and there is a lot of fusion (goat cheese pav). Quantities are on the small side. Staff very attentive and helpful.
I just tried these and they are yum! A must visit place. Firstly the Mrs. Sodabottleoperwala Special Coldcoffee then the Baida Roti Chicken, Berry Pulao, Bhuna Chicken Sandwich Then Last but not the least is Patrani Machhi ( a preparation of Pomfret fish)
Superb place...super ambience...staff was super helpful...had tawa paneer masala, dhansak pulao and raspberry soda...all were amazing...loved it and will recommend people to go...for all ages..
Quirky interiors, friendly staff, fulfilling food.
This place offers a new memory on every visit.
Must try the amazing drinks menu and the famous berry pulav.
Excitement starts once you get treated with kismi bars, melody and poppins in the end.
For dancing on the table visit friday night.
Located at Powai near Powai Plaza. I like this restaurant , the ambience is good along with the staff. Music is not so loud..you could have good conversation
