Sai Palace,Andheri buffet: great variety of starters where you can be full 80% you can leave the 20% for the main course. Main course has kinda limited options but trust me starters makes up for it. Have tried the A la carte* too.
Quantity: Good I would surely 9/10
Quality: Great, I doubt if I ever had any complains with it 10/10
Ambience: it’s surely beautiful.
It’s a wonderful thing to have Sai palace in three parts of Mumbai so people surely won’t miss the experience.❤️Surely recommend this place.
Perfect place for a family outing, a bit expensive but totally worth it . Decor, staff, service and the most important food everything so very excellent.
Make sure you try their biryani , it's just next to heaven. Their sundae is also pretty good , the pan flavoured ice cream they serve with their sundae is love.
The first very two things that I loved...
1.Interior and 2,.Food
It's interior doesn't disappoint on it's name!
Whereas u get a good quantity and quality of food.
Non vegetarian food was obviously more better to be honest. the paneer, fish and chicken were perfectly cooked !
I was quite disappointed about the naan and roti though.. Should've improved over there... They turned into rubber in just 5 minutes
Overall the service was good..
Good Ambience. Food is also great. Just starter item/varieties can be worked on. Its same chicken Tikka Kawab you get every where. Else its a cool dining place.
The food is very nice, and the a coconut vanilla drink is must try.The asthetics are soothing and the service is satisfactory ,except a few dishes others are very good.
Good place to be there
I guess had been visiting since my college days
Just because of tasty food, great place to spend time with fly n close one's
Quick Service
Nice staff
Great place for food drinks as well
Sai Palace is one of the places I've been visiting since I was a kid. I've had so many memories with this place even before the place was renovated. Sai palace is one of those places where you know you'll get amazing food for sure, any day of the year.
Recently we went here for a family dinner. We opted for the buffet. It included 4 veg and 4 non veg starters, main course and a vast spread of deserts. All the starters were really good but my favorites were the cottage cheese in vegetarian fare and the prawn starter in non vegetarian fare.
We were so full after the starters (as usual) that we dint have too much of main course. Whatever we did have was good, but the one dish that stood out the most was the paneer biryani! Honestly, being a non vegetarian, "veg biryanis" are usually too 'meh' for us but this biryani was amazing! Full of flavor! It would probably give chicken biryani a run for its money.
All the deserts were really good too. Chocolate cake was delicious. The ice creams were very unique and yummy. We couldn't help ourselves and had all of the flavors and our favorite was the Pan ice cream and the quava sprinkled with a little paprika. YUM!
Also brownie points to the service provided by the team at image. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Definitely going back!
Good Ambience , good food
Nice service , only issues is to take left and if your luck.is bad Traffic Cops not going to spare you to get down of ur 4 wheeler
Otherwise one of the good palace to be with someone special to have good decent food in silence
Worth every penny
Good... The food tastes nice. But the quantity differs every time you go. Sometimes you feel it's too less and sometimes it's too much. The service is nice no issues.
You look for ala-carte options (and menu card for rates) and also have option of looking through buffet spread, what will be your choice?
If you are clear on your diet routine and discipline, you will opt for ala-carte. It was not the case with us (at least today)☺
Decision was perfect. We enjoyed every course of buffet, starting from welcome drinks to ending with repeats of desserts.
Whatever you can wish for, you will find here.👌
Ambience is lively open glass facet overlooking metro movements, colourful paintings. Seating is specious and can be adjusted for big group of requested in advance. Service is personalized and live counter for mumbai chat was refreshing.
Starters were well made and desserts were of various types including sugar free.
If you want to enjoy without worrying about your diet regime and have fun with friends, Image is well located option. Try lunch or dinner buffet!
Cool ambiance and nice service at this resturant located at Sai palace hotel ... North Indian , Chinese and continental food is served here ..more of non veg options then veg and very few for Jains ....Neat quality and quantity served here ...presentations are ok ..loved their service ...
Nice place and good ambience. As always good is nice. We ordered chatpata jhinga, murgh dhaba and yakhni soup. They were nicely cooked and made to perfect. Staff is courteous and service was fast and good. Do try prawns biriyani and vepudu chicken.
Paneer Seekh Kabab at Image, Sai Palace hotel, Chakala.
Melt-in mouth paneer and spices coated with a crisp thin layer! Tasty as it sounds, this place has finger-licking north indian food!
Classy ambience, cordial service, mind-blowing food, what all do you need? You have to try their signature Bara banki kofta and Paneer Bikaneri.
This side of andheri really is as the name suggests the "dark side" when it comes to good restaurants. Apologies if this offended anyone, but it's true... Wrt to date night...
Sai Palace - has always been that one place you think you should try... The only bright spot in andheri east...
The place is a fine dine where they follow all the hi-tech protocols to Co-ordinate with the two levels of restaurants... The guy at the lower level will communicate on a walkie-talkie... And since it was only two of us... As in the case the couples never get the best of the seats.. So we were bang in the entrance.. The secondary welcoming party... Not complaining just sharing the experience... As the restaurant was to its full capacity on a Wednesday.. Says a lot of what I said and what I am about to.....
The portions are really large and generous, had ordered a #muttonyakhani soup with #dahitikki to begin with... Now the soup wasn't what we thought it should've been.. Yakhani is more like a broth with meat and curd and butter.. This was more like an onion soup with well cooked meat... The soup kinda eventually worked for us.. Barring the differences of expectations and reality...
The tikkis were nice, but for the poorly keep chutney and achar sides ( 1. They looked stale and 2. They were kept tilted in a smaller plate.. So the presentation wasn't appealing) we ended up eating the tikkis by itself.. Which after 2 per head.. Was a little dry for the palate..
The mains was mutually decided mutton biryani... For we would have not finished the curry and rotis... The portions are really for 4 ppl easily.....
The biryani was only one type with variations in mutton, chicken and veg- We ordered the mutton biryani but it wasn't up to the expectations... More like a mutton curry and rice... Overall it was satisfying experience.... The ambience and service was good...
But the lack of imagination when it comes to desserts is something they should address immediately.....
Epic ambience hospitality n supremely grt food..!!
Best place for a family or company get together .!!
Chicken jahangiri kebab is a must try if ur a kebab person..!!!!
Situated at the 1st floor of the Sai Palace Hotel, is this posh and warm looking place. The ambience is charming - the music sets the mood, and the plants and the view of the window is quite beautiful. The furniture gels with the place, and they have a beautiful little bar and wine collection.
We had Hummus salad (olives and chickpea paste, with hints of garlic) which was light and a bit quirky. We then directly ordered a main course - Chicken Pathani (spicy boneless chicken in brownish gravy) which was slightly undercooked but definitely tasty. Along with it we had Parantha (quite good) and plain roti, and steamed rice - the serving sizes are delightful. The bill summed up to ~1300.
The service is quite responsive and seating is nice. I would surely wish to come here again and try a larger menu, though I might need a little heavier wallet. Slightly costly, but definitely beautiful.
Had my 5th birthday celebrated here.. And I must say that this place has come a really long way in terms of its standard. Revamped to a swanky building with valet parking, a cozy & homely ambience, Prompt service, Variety of cuisines & a definitely good palate experience!
Loved the palak shorba, the paneer & chicken kababs. However, the chicken gravy was wasn't the best.
Ordered continental just to experiment.. And thankfully I dint regret my decision.. Boston vegetable bake was creamy & delicious..Ratatouille turned out to be nice too!
For me, this is one of those restaurants that keeps calling you back to it! Keep up the good job! :)
Quite a classy place in this part of Andheri. Really spacious and beautiful ambience. Its a part of courtyard and sai palace hotels so we have been visiting all their restaurants from almost 15 yrs now. The food is almost the same in all their restaurants with a few additions n changes in the items but the taste is excellent in all. Love the private fly tables on the mezzanine ....they r really cute and offer more privacy. Overall each and every part of this restaurant exuberates class. And to top it the food is par excellence. Love everything here. Nothing tastes wrong here. Superb service too. We have had umpteen get togethers here and always its been a hit with all. Almost everything on the menu is fantastic. Just order what suits u best. Cos I have tried a lot of dishes here l n loved most of them. In mocktails I recommend the Black widow.....a sangria kind of drink.....its my absolute favourite here. They have an option of buffet too which is really good too.
The Food,Staff and most importantly staff is very very good, very decent place with good interior...valet parking is a plus point here...A very good place for business people...
I love the food at Sai Palace!
I mostly visit this place with my family. Variety of delicious cuisines to choose from in the Buffet! Leaves you thinking what to eat and what not! Buffet is rightly priced @ Rs 850! Buffet has a good spread for starters, main course, live counter and desserts including a complimentary drink too. The place has great ambiance! Good food Good taste & Quick Service!!
Most commonly known as Sai Palace Hotel, the fact that their fine dining restaurant had a different name was unbeknownst to me until I visited it for a family dinner on a special occasion.
Ambience is quite good, with neat abstract paintings adorning the walls, which go well with the dimly lit dining area. Although the menu has lot to choose from, as they serve more than one cuisine, we went for a mix of Indian and Chinese.
For the Starters, ordered the Chicken Platter; an assortment of char-grilled kebabs, Tikka, Reshmi, Pahadi and Shole. The succulent kebabs tasted good, with each having a distinct taste, although the Tikka and Pahadi kebabs had a somewhat similar taste.
Next was the Chicken Crispy, an all-time favourite. Even though a tad more oily than it should have been, it lived up to its name, as the crunch and crisp was perfect in each bite.
Also ordered the Chicken Manchow soup (another favourite), the portions of which were disappointing.
Tried the 'Murg Dhaba' for the main course, since its description in the menu "spicy gravy with black pepper, spices and herbs", was quite tempting. It proved to be an excellent order eventually. The gravy was exceptionally tasty and the Chicken pieces in it cooked to perfection, as they were so nearly melt-in-the-mouth soft. Top marks for this one, which was easily the highlight of the night. The Rotis to go with the gravy were equally top-notch.
Service was more or less good, as the Starters and soup came fairly quickly but the Main course took a while longer. Staff is nice and friendly, they greet you very well.
To sum it up, the food is good quality-wise. Quantity-wise, the servings are not as generous. Pricing is a bit over the top, considering they cater to International guests that visit their hotel. Certainly not in the 'Value for Money' category for me. They also have a buffet system, but it wasn't that appealing as compared to other great buffet places nearby.
A pleasing experience, overall. Good food, good ambience, decent service. They have valet parking available as well. Since we went on a week day, we got a table without any wait. If you're planning to visit on a weekend or public holiday, unpredictable waiting times await.

This restaurant is inside Sai Palace Hotel located in Mahakali Caves Road, Chakala, Andheri East. They have a buffet served at an excellent price of Rs.834/- inclusive of taxes per person everyday (Weekday/Weekend). They have ample parking space too. This restaurant which serves buffet is on the 1st floor with nice decor and full glass windows facing the Metro Bridge. The Buffet Lunch time is from 12 Noon to 3:30 PM.
The best thing in Buffet lunch is the starters & the dessert (At least for me) which this restaurant fulfills very well.
The buffet includes one complementary drink (Wine/beer). They were surprisingly serving on dry day too (2nd October). Since I don't drink either of them, I opted for a mix fruit juice instead.

Absolute value for money: 5/5
The hotel is situated on the 1st floor. The ambience of the place is good. The food is good. The service is very very slow moving at a snail's speed. We went at venue at 7:30pm and came out at 9:00pm.We ordered some soups, and then at the main course. It literally took half and hour for the main course to be served.Main course was not at all ordered at bulk,it was 2 sabzi and the rotis.
After the dinner we asked for the cheque it also took too long I think half an hour for it to come.
I my view the tables were many but the staff was limited not to cater all at one time.

I am always fond of this place. It is one of the best places for North Indian or Chinese food.
1. Veg crispy
2. Shezwan Fried Rice
North Indian :
1. Paneer Spinach Kurkure
2. Paneer Bara Banki- though it is onion gravy it is sweet. So avoid this if you dont like swt sabzi.
3. Masala Chaas
4. Masala Papad
Others are worth trying. Its very tasty.
Life in Mumbai has its own pace and none other than a mumbaikar can understand this statement. Although people claim that other cities in India have started following suite but Mumbai beats its own records in every way, every single day of its life. Andheri is one of the busiest and centrally located suburbs of western Mumbai, which is host to a colossal population of residing as well as travelling people. Image is a restaurant located in the interiors of a hotel called Sai Palace in Andheri East.
This restaurant is located in sai palace hotel..
The service, the ambience, the food, the quality, the quantity... everything is pretty good.
Though the place can be a bit noisy.. But we tried to ignore that.. Fragrance is nice..
So final sheet review..

The ambiance is good. I have tried a plethora of dishes there. The sizzling brownie is to die for! For home delivery, I always prefer the Chinese cuisine. All in all, amazing place!
Superb food...both ala-carte as well as the buffet. They serve variety of cuisines like chinese, north indian, continental etc. The ambience is awesome. A perfect place to enjoy a nice meal.
So, after a lot of intense searching we finally decided to visit Image for a Sunday night dinner. As expected, it was packed and table reservation is a must.
The minute you enter the restaurant, which is just steps away from Sai Palace's entrance, you are mesmerised by the ambience which compliments the amazing hotel that is Sai palace. The lighting is perfect for a cozy dinner. The ambience sure is top notch.
The food is good, not great though. But, the quantity, BOY! (Especially the starters). I can assure you, if one orders two portions of starters, you'll be done.
The service... Ah, takes ages to be honest. Well, it was a Sunday night and place was packed, so I might just excuse them for that.
Ratings:-
Ambience: 4/5

Love the food here. Large portions, especially when ordered at home. A regular here. Highly recommended.
Their must have in Indian would be the Chicken Jalandari, Mutton Rogan Josh, Dal Maharani with assorted rotis.
In Chinese, love the Malaysian noodles, Hoisin Sauce Chicken and Chicken Teriyaki. The Shanghai rice is also a must. try.
Have been to this place few times for a non vegetarian meal but today for some reason Visited this place for a quick VEGETARIAN MEAL and I must mention that the vegetarian food is awesome. Do make sure you try the clear soup with vegetables and the Angoori Mushroom. 👌 will surely tickle your taste buds. Service, ambience, decor, staff, food is very good and will surely make you feel good and happy. Must visit must try.
Great food, great service, great staff & great ambience. This is one of the best restaurant in the locality.
Why is it called "Image"!!!???
Please fix this, it's really weird and confusing.
From the age of 5 and now 25 the food is all ways great and best place to hang out with friends and family
Amazing food and ambience
Best servers
No delay in order
Always served with a smile
Give a try
Worthy place
Best Place for date night i'll say!!! Also take some extra cash ;) (you never know what your queen expects)! Ok i'll rate the ambience here to 4.5. Service to 4.5. Food hers is nice i'll give a 4 star rating. U'll be debited upto 2200 for 2 ppl for a four course meal. Need not to motion alcohol is not included. Ask captain for suggestion on signature dishes.... Not so pocket friendly that is the reason for 4 stars.
After long weekdays , my family and cousins planned for some dinner. So after a long drive we came thru this place called Sai Palace.
But the name in zomato that I got is Image after seeing the starting of the menu card.
Food: we started with cheese balls(cheesy) and paneer badami kebab(soft and fresh paneer), mutton seekh kebab, masala papad.
Later for dinner aloo mutter (so tasty that I purposely left some more in bowl itself so I could pack and take it for lunch to the ofc the next day) , tandoori roti , murg pathani.
The main part the dessert was caramel custard and malai kulfi , wasn't so keen with dessert coz I already had a yummy Nutella pancakes n chocolate waffles , so was done for a day..
The service was good. Ambience was really very lovely with paintings around and also statue with a diva just at the entrance of the restaurant and small yellow dim lights inside the restaurant. Would visit again for sure if I come till andheri .
This restaurant is the to go place if your in Andheri East. You can never go wing with this place. The food is delicious and the ambience and service is impeccable. One should try their buffet as well as they are great value for money.
The food here is good. Don't know how to survive without their delivery service. Whether it is Indian/ Chinese/ Continental, the standard is pretty great. Quite hygienic and clean, in fact. Highly recommended. :)
Went by the reviews posted on Zomato by other people and realised the resaon for this restaurant to be rated high in everyone's ratings.Absolutely loved everything about the restaurant that includes the ambience, service and the food.
So we had been to this restaurant for a dinner buffet on a weekend and there was a waiting list. The waiting area is itself decorated with small oil lamps and is also surrounded by plants and trees. It looks especially well in the evenings. There is a valet service available for parking. There are two sections to the restauarant, one only for the ala carte and the other one for the buffet (which I realised after a wait of 20 mins).
1) Ambience: 4/5...Nice decor, nice view especially if you are in the buffet section which is on the first floor. The glass window faces the Metro bridge.
2) Food: 4/5.....Superb....Right from soup, starters (the best was the chicken kebabs) to the main course and desserts (were not that great)
3) Service: 4/5.....Great
4) VFM: 4/5....Rs 834 with taxes per person.....Value for money..Good spread
P.S: In case of opting for buffet, please inform at the booking counter, else they may consider you'll for ala carte and would make you wait if there is a crowd
I just visited this restaurant in peak hours. But, it didn't seem like peak hours. The staff was very quick and managed the crowd really well. The management was extremely good and service was quick enough as well. Coming to the ambience, it was quite pretty. Coming to the food, we started with soup followed by starters and main course. From first bite till my last, I enjoyed every bit of food. Overall I liked it alot and can recommend you to visit for dining as suitable for you.
I echo an IMPORTANT point mentioned in other reviews, please update the restaurant to Sai Palace.
A really great place & good variety of dishes. Right from the salads to desserts, all dishes in the buffet menu can be thoroughly enjoyed by veggies and non veggies. If you luck you could treat your self to the chaat counter which are unlimited and well prepared. The dessert menu is huge including and majority are egg-less. Something unique about this place is they offer a drink along with the buffet which can also be a Beer. All this for a price under 1000 is worth the buck. Ambiance and service is good supporting chit chats and easier access to dishes.
Zomato : the name of the hotel is SAI Palace, pls update!!!
Coming to the review, Ambience & service since they go hand in hand, I rank it as 4.5 / 5. The place in is beautiful & spacious. Staff are courteous & helpful. The food is good in taste, quality & quantity.
In what seemed to be the last visit eons ago, the team finally managed a weekday lunch on Wednesday, May 28th. Sai Palace Hotel in Andheri is your quintessential business hotel amidst business hotels. Located in close proximity to the international airport, Sai Palace sees a lot of foreign expats flocking its shining granite and sober ambiance. Image, is the solitary restaurant within the hotel complex and sees a score of walk-in patrons apart from the in-house guests.
The hotel has a commanding location in terms of accessibility and reputation in the form of hospitality. Image has a great fan following amongst the gourmand crowd and you might be left out without a reservation. We were glad to reach the place on time, as we almost had the entire place just for us during the first course. The wait list extended post 13:30 hours until the time we left the restaurant at 14:30 hours. The management has cleverly separated the buffet and the a-la-carte section, avoiding any sort of confusion for them and for the patrons.
The buffet spread is not all that extensive from what I read in the umpteen reviews. It’s probably because of the space constraint that they have in the buffet section. If I do have to guestimate then I think around 50-60 covers can occupy the floor space at a time, with a slight elbow nudging. However, the quality of the food is top notch and the flavors are not compromised. The welcome drink includes wines/beer/mocktails which are a part of the buffet. Our mocktail for the day was termed “Fun on the beach”, which basically a concoction of all the summer fruits. The sweetness and flat taste none of us bothered to order another one.
Chicken rainbow soup (there wasn’t anything rainbow about it) was simple, flavorsome and with loads of chicken; an ideal way to start your meal. The accompanying bread, whose name I fail to recollect complimented and balanced the flavors superbly. The starters made their way to the tables by themselves and had no intentions to cease. The appetite was almost on the brink of satiation, when we realized the mains were waiting. After lustfully smacking the proteins in the form of prawns, chickens, paneers and kebabs, we headed for the mains. The mains section at the far end of the buffet section is limited in terms of choices. But, they are all packed with a lot of flavors and each dish stood out individually. Among the few note worthy mentions, Neer Dosa went well with almost everything (dried or gravied). Grilled fish, fish in pudina sauce, chicken in oyster sauce, mutton ghost and chicken dry put the taste buds in over drive. I was disheartened when I realized that I didn’t feast on some biryani.
The dessert section was small, but with plenty of options. There was nothing much to my liking apart from the usual chocolate delights and few cake options. The peru (guava) halwa was the interesting find of the day for us. A never before tried dish, it gave us something new to crave about. The caramel custard was a big let down though, as it tasted all eggy to be honest. Mango cheesecake missed a lot on taste with its cream and the mango pieces on top felt more like amba-vadi (a sweet made of mango across Maharashtra). The Bengali mithai didn’t lift the spirits and finally (with a heavy heart) we gave up on the desserts.
The service at Image was amazing, with the attendants flowing in with starters and other ordered dishes efficiently. Even with the crowd surging every passing minute the attendants had a head as cool as a cucumber. The all inclusive cost of the meal was Rs.834/-. They can surely elevate the dessert section, which will make the cost a value for money fare. The team had a pleasant lunch time thanks to all the flavorful food and great service. Image at Sai Palace is a highly recommended option for business, family or office team meals.
Went for a business dinner, ambiance amazing, food awesome, service up to the mark...... The buffet spread(Starters/main course) was totally delicious with ample options in veg/non veg..
Visited this place second time and there was not a single negative thing about the whole experience.
The dessert spread was the best, tried a new dessert "peru halwa", something different but came out well and worth a try...
Last but not the least, price??? Its worth every penny of yours...
Excellent !!! Royal !!! Superb !!!There is a certain aura about this place. The feeling is pleasnt from the moment you step out in the drive in and the experience is only enhanced on entering the place. Excellent land scaping and royal interiors. Have visited the place more than 3 times (each time for lunch) and the food has never disappointed. Infact it has been superb. The service is warm and polite.Overall a very enriching dining experience.5/5 in all aspects.
Nice restaurant with good ambience. Almost unbelievable how spacious this place is, which is mot common in Delhi. The staff is welcoming and the food is good, especially the non veg section.
I was introduced to this place by couple of college friends. Have been there 4-5 times and always went for the buffet. The spread is very good. Even the main course. All the other buffet places I have visited have very good starters and desserts but their main is usually boring. But not Sai palace. You may find the cost a bit high but the food is worth it!! I hope they keep up their high standards!
The food was good.. Bt please update your menu on zomato coz its way more expensive then the rates on the actual rate card.. Well no problem with my experience...
This place is bang opposite to our residence! I simply love this place for its food & their service ! We recently ordered for a Chicken Biryani, Chicken Manchurian , Dal Khichdi & Paneer chilly! The food was amazing, the paneer was tender, perfectly cooked, so yumm! A must try place, and my favourite ❤️
Overall rating: :
Food : 4.5/5
Service : 4.5/5
I went with my colleagues for official dinner here. Food was amazing with very well spread woth combinations of chinese and south indian main course. Starter were enough in quantity and was served hot on plate.Deserts were the best part of buffet. Thoroughly Enjoyed
Skeptical of the name as always; I got the lesson of not judging a book by its cover. We went on a friend's recommendation and we were completely satisfied with our choice for dinner.
It is definitely located on a busy road and as much the outsides are chaotic and noisy, the insides are calm and sophisticated.
We chose to order a la carte starting with a soup(that wasn't as palatable frankly), the paneer starter was delicious and the mains was all the more exotic( we ordered a kofta bara banki and its my personal recommendation-a must try).We ended with a caramel custard as our dessert(which was okish) .Overall dining experience was exemplary based on the ambiance, service, and pricing.
One could have done by giving 4.5 rating. But for the service time. Perhaps a leader amongst fine dining in this area . Been here since more than two decades . Ideal for Family Meal, Business Dining.
They have separate areas for Buffet Lunch and Dinner.
Ideal for a Lazy Sunday Brunch too.
I have always been to Sai Palace for their excellent buffet spread. When Sai Palace mentions its a fish festival you know for sure you will get at least three to four kinds of fish preparation in their starters and in the main course. At times they might take a while to get you the starters but that s because its so fresh and piping hot. Their starters are to die for. Ditto their desserts. The Choice of dessert is vast and I have had the best Chikku and Guava halwa out here.
In the main course their biriyanis simply mouth watering and their Fish Biriyani just takes the cake.
From the quality of food that they serve I think its fairly priced.
They do not take bookings on weekends post 1 o'clock so its better to reach a little early .
Awesome food. Prefer the Chinese, continental and punjabi, not a great fan of the Thai food here. The service is a bit slow, but the food is good
I love being here !
I visit this place mostly on family parties such as anniversary or birthday parties.
Ample of parking space!
Choose table of ur choice! Dim lights!
Variety of delicious cuisines in the menu! Confuses what to eat and what not!
A bit expensive!
Great ambience!
Good for family lunch or dinner!
Perfect for a romantic date !
Recently went here for the new year dinner.
Prawns koliwada is to die for 😍
Must try Hyderabadi biryani cooked and served in handi!
Dessert 😍😍
Highly recommended!
This place is kind of a hit and miss for me. Sometimes the food amazes my taste buds while other times it' s rather forgettable. The new renovation of this place has resulted in better flavours and on an average it does well to cater to your hunger.Price is on the upper side so it's best reserved for occasions and celebrations
You may not enjoy all preparations, some have more oil, some are dry so ask before ordering if unsure how the dish is prepared.
Mumbai offers alluring hotels and restaurants and Sai palace is of course one of themWe were there for a team dinner party.
Ambiance is good and food is delicious. Some problem with the service though and hence 4 stars.
I would highly recommend this place to visit once if budget is not a constraint.
I visited restaurant yesterday for dinner buffet.
The food is great and ambience is good. Service was good, however as the restaurant grew crowded, service got affected.
The spread of buffet is good and for desert lovers, this is simply heaven and the good news for vegetarians is that, all desserts are eggless. Also I loved the appams
Drinks come after long waiting time and we experienced a waiting time of almost 45 mins so for two rounds of drinks the total waiting time was almost 90 mins. This is something, restaurant should definitely plan to improve.
Great place to have a have weekend dinner with colleagues, freely njoying after a long working hours which is needed by everyone working
Time to pay another visit ?
The food and the ambience both stand upto what I herd from friends about this place ,
Had ordered for a take away , once I reached there for a pickup I was tempted by the offer they had an Seafood buffet , need for more awareness.
The take away food was awesome,
Food was less oil as we had requested for ,
Portion of starter was more than expected .

What used to be a restaurant named 'sai palace' has now developed into a 3 start facility. Image is the restaurant offering ala carte on the ground floor. The place offers nice ambience, good food and must say great service.
Their buffet offering on the first floor isnt a good choice though! Service at buffet is very slow almost as if they don't want to serve. Staff at the buffet acts dumb. Ala carte is highly recommended considering there are many great buffet places in the area.
A great experience! It would have been almost a decade since I last visited this place..used to have khichdi then. The ambience is refreshingly new now and so is the menu. We ordered pasta and kofta bani with Roti's. The staff is very courteous and attentive without being intrusive. As soon as the roti in my plate was over they were ready with another without having ordered for one. The portion was good enough for the two of us. Hope to be back soon to try other signature dishes.
It was an awesome place with great ambience..food was finger smacking.do try there own special food marked as *.you can even see some known faces of daily soaps aired on tv..overall it was great and the price was reasonable..
Aswm place and ambiance!!
Had visited this place on Saturday for lunch with few friends....too good starters (actually thy serve lot of starters that our plate will b full and cant say which is good...everything was amazing)
Being a non-vegetarian i loved the way they cooked Prawns.. it was amazing (beautifully cooked keeping intact the taste of prawns and butter)
Main course was not bad....
But best part was the dessert.....lots of sweets :D (chocolate cake to mousse to Bengali sweets)....it was one of the best buffet i had till now :)
Nice food, starters are better. Nice ambience and courteous staff. Little bit a higher side on pocket but it can be tried out once in a while.
Absolute value for money, great buffet, superb spread, perfect place to host a private party or take your team / friends out for lunch / dinner. A la carte options are also good in the ground floor restaurant.
Fabulous Food!!
Had a great evening dinner with friends here. The place has a very nice and peaceful ambience which allows you to have a conversation without having to yell across the table. ????
Ordered the assorted non veg platter and it came with a decent variety of chicken, lamb and fish items. Felt that the Seekh was a bit too spicy for my liking, but apart from that, all was great.
Since we were a bit too full we jumped directly to deserts. The Sizzling Chocolate brownie was awesomely made and the chocolate sauce was perfect!
Conveniently located near the Andheri Western Express Metro station.
Service was super!
What an excellent experience. Excellent food, excellent service.
The rates are just a bit steep & one would frequent it far more often if they were lower, but then it would not be so special.
The taste of Honey chicken has changed over the years. It used to be far more tangy with lots more of honey & masala blends tingling the taste buds, earlier, but it just ok now.
The soup quality was excellent & quantity very decent, particularly the crab soup had a lots of crab meat.
The smiling face of Shiva, who has been there for years, helps old customers continue our association with the restaurant.
Went here for lunch on a very sunny noon :) the day of landing in Mumbai
We had to hog on straight into a main course
Straight ordered a super awesome Veg Biryani.. handi cooked.. The raitha with it was fantastic
had all the right masalas... the paneer... tasty to the highest degree...
Loved it.. the pic says it all..
Excellent service, food, decors... What more can you ask for... My team mates tried the chicken biryani..
we all were left with our tummies full.... and taste lingered on for the whole day
Office part it was thrown by our client and we had decided to go near by andheri as we worked in seepz and have to back in office by 3 pm.
So this was one of the closest option we had very near to the chakala junction Petrol Pump.
People know this place as the Sai Palace hotels; Image is the name of the restaurant in there.
Sai Palace is the hotel has high class staying and conference and wedding hall. And couples of floors dedicated to the resaturant section two of them are al e carte and part of it for buffet
Buffet has capacity of 50+ and 100+ for the restaurant.
We opt for buffet as we had fixed budget and we don’t want to exceed that.
Reservations is recommended in case if you are going here for buffet
For restaurant you will get the place but not in pickup time or on evening time
Buffet starts at 12.30 last till 3.00 in afternoon.
Very good seating arrangements very well managed space doesn’t fill crowded at all
One of the most lavish buffet that i had been till date. The desert section has around 10+ items 3 pastries 3 mousse 1 halwa 2 cakes and assorted fruits and cheese cakes with chocolates.
Desert section is the my fav from the entire buffetBuffet starts with 2 Soups each Veg & Non Veg asides with soups you will have soup sticks and fried noodles.
There will be an Indian snack also like kahndvi dokhla or spice bread
Then come around 6 types of salads all of them veg and might be one of them will be egg.
Salads are different than usual mostly there will be seasonal fruit salads and italian or Mexican salads.all the startes will be serve on your table
there were 5 veg and 5 nonveg starters in the menu
Veg has mixed combination of vegis panner and aloo tikki. and in non veg it will be same three chicken started and two fish starters.
Main course was very nice different cuisines with combination of mutton fish and chicken.
There will be noodles in veg with some gravy and panner dish with Dal makhani and steam rice
if you are lucky you will get parsley rice also,
In non veg there will be three different gravies each of mutton chicken and fish ends with one more Chinese or Thai gravy at the end.
end is the Biryani or fried rice.
And yes the live counter of pasta you can customize your pasta how ever you want
Assorted roties will be served on the table some times they appams also.
Ends with Dessert which i have covered above. my fav from the buffet
so buffet has2 soups (Veg & Non Veg)6 salads
10 starters (5 Veg & 5 non Veg)
Main course with around 5 dishes both veg and non veg
Fresh made pasta
10+ desserts

I have been to Images (Sai Palace) a few times with friends and i always liked this place. So i decided to take my family for a treat here and we all loved it very much. We planned for ala-carta option on 15th August but on reaching we requested to see the menu for buffet. They offered us to take a look at the buffet menu and then decide. We were amazed at the menu and decided to go for lunch buffet.
Soup (1 Veg (Tangy Veg soup)and 1 Cream of chicken and asparagus)
4 Veg Straters
4 Non Veg Starters (Fish Fingers Fish Koliwada, Chicken Pahadi Kabab and one more chicken started)
Many Variety of Salads and bread
array of veg and non veg main course and rice preparation.
Roti, Neer Dosa and Appam were served hot on out tables. Neer Dosa and Appams were out of this world.
They also had a chat counter which was really amazing. Pani Puri, Sev puri, Dahi Puri all chat items were delicious.
After hogging on the food we moved to the dessert counter. Huge spread of dessert including Indian desserts, cakes, Pastries, Moose. Kheer and chikoo halwa were very interesting and some bengali sweets were delicious too.
We were also offered ice cream Vanilla and chocolate. The waiter informed us that all the desserts and icecreams are made in house by the chefs and nothing is ordered from out side.
Over all a great experience. I will definitely visit again
Ambiance - 4.5/5
Food - 4.5/5

Don’t judge the book by its cover” is probably the best statement that sums up the experience of Sai Palace Hotel at Chakala. A 1* hotel near the busy Chakala crossing can best summarized as a low cost hotel for corporates around the area - but their restaurant is a whole different story. Ask locals and they will vouch for the amazing food at this joint and we hav never been disappointed. Right across Solitatire Corp park, it’s a quick stop for drinks and good food when one does’nt want to go to far.
The service is good with waiters attentive. The décor is ordinary and does not impress but the food does. We ordered Chicken Platters, Andhra Style Chicken, Chilly Chicken & Prawn starters and every item was excellent. Succulent, juicy and perfectly good. I have had probably the best paneer tikka here and the softness and taste can beat any 5*. Drinks are reasonably priced though a limited variety.
They serve continental & Chinese as well, the former not yet explored. We had Mixed fried rice and it was very nice as well. Colleagues have had Dal Khichdi and vouch for the same. The Chicken curry and dal are excellent alongwith rice or the rotis.
Overall a surprisingly good experience for a place like that … its full even on weekdays (mainly families late night) and that’s a testament to its popularity and quality. Try it out – you won’t be disappointed.
Easily one of my favorite places for food in Mumbai..nobody knows this restaurant as image but purely as Sai Palace, the name of the hotel..the name does sound shady like a gaziliion small bars in Mumbai, but the place is huge and will surprise you with its ambience... Have been there a lot of times so lot of recommendations.. The surmai tawa fry is amazing.. So is murgh Haryali tikka and murgh malai tikka..the 2 chicken platters are enough for 3-4 people..the main course recommend will be dhaba murgh, dal makhani, pindi chana and mutton kheema..it's has excellent burnt garlic fried rice if you in the mood for Chinese.. The best part is that it is extremely economical with dinner for 2 never crossing 12-1300.. Definitely a must try!
I had gone to Image on a Saturday with a group of friends . The ambience was really good and so was the food. We chose ala carte over buffet (745 pp). We ordered a veg platter and chicken platter. Also had paneer tikka masala and chicken jalandari. I ate only veg dishes as am vegetarian and found the taste really good. Service was also decent. Its just a little costly.
I hav once gone to Image for dinner and once for lunch.
It is a nice, peaceful and brilliant family restaurant.
We had the Panner kati roll for starters and it was really superb with the paneer mashed and filled in rumali rotis.
For the main course we had ordered the Paneer Bikaneri and veg chatpata. The paneer served here is really soft and that makes the subjis really tasty.
The portions here are quite healthy and you wont be left feeling that you have overpaid.
The staff is courteous and friendly, however the service is quite slow.
In a jist, its a really nice restaurant for north indian food in the andheri east area for the people who like quality food, be it veg or non-veg.
This place lies besides the holy family church...andheri east...it is v famous for corporate meetings...they serve a variety of dishes from north Indian cuisines to continental....to start wid ...paneer tikka...paneer methi seekh kebab...r good...fr main course veg tikki masala....panner tikka masala...lasooni palak...malai kofta...subziyon ka milan...a must try...their butter garlic naan is soft n has a perfect crisp to it...in rice varieties... Jeera rice n handi biryani is the best....in continental i've only tried veg augratin...whc was just too good...overall this place serves good dishes...don't b afraid to try new dishes...I bet all of them will b good...the ambience is pleasant n the staff is friendly...this place is little expensive BT worth it...go n try today :p ...Avoid going on weekends...cuz its quite crowded...n u might nt get the best service n taste...enjoy!!! :)))
I visited Image last Sunday at around 6.30 since we were planning an early dinner! I wanted to go in for the buffet which was obviously not available at 6.30. It was High Tea time, or whatever that means. But they refused to take orders before 7, which was weird. Well, I am not going to complain a lot because the place is good, food is also good. But the staff seems judgmental and not very polite. Not the kind of attitude you are looking for when you know you are paying highly for the service!
We ordered cheese balls and paneer tikka as starters, both were good. The pizza was WOW! loved it! Daal khichdi was very dry! Dessert was sizzling brownie: GOOD and caramel custard: Not at all impressive!
Great great great!
Wonnnnnnderful ambience. Welcoming staff. Silent background music made me feel relaxed.
It is located at a busy traffic joint but the wonderful ambience makes me forget about my whereabouts.
Was trying Hunan noodles for the first time. The name seemed interesting.
The restaurant has a BIG menu. You will have a lot to choose from. Chinese, continental, Thai, Indian, Etc.
You will be delighted to see the menu. I ordered a dish and the staff said it would be enough for one person. :-).
You can see the Mumbai Metro passing while you have your food. :-)
Hunan noodles were tasty, except I would have preferred if the gravy would have been lesser. It was very interesting to find some portion of the noodles fried and crispy. The other part was immersed in a spinach gravy.
It was a nice experience. But yes, it comes at a price.
Excellent spread of buffet, 944 for veg buffet, you might overeat at this place,
Wide range of desserts and salad bar,
Starters served on table were good hot and fresh. Overall great Experience.
We tried Sai palace twice this month, and always good, food delicious and they have many options for vegetarians as well

Food is just amazing here😍 everything was upto the mark right from north indian, continental, manglorean dishes we have got some good suggestions to try out
A must visit place with your family for birthdays, parties & get togethers
Were seated on the first floor, overlooking the road but it was quite.
Food was great, nice family ambience and courteous waiters.
Price per dish was 500+ ,all the dishes we had were upto the mark.
No complaints whatsoever.
I recommend going for a buffet, as there are more options as compared to à la carte, and also the price becomes more reasonable.
There are wider options in this system as well. There r around 5-6 different types of appetizers, 4 types of starters both veg and non-veg each, chaat corner for chaat lovers, main course having tastes and flavours of Indian/mughlai cuisine, and last but not the least, desserts!
Good place for team lunch, dinner dates, formal meetings, parties, etc.
The staff is kind. They respond to calls very quickly.
It's an awesome restaurant with a huge variety of dishes to choose. Loved their friendly and helpful service. The dishes are delicious and the yogurt drink is yummy too. It's a very busy restaurant but the service great.
Prime location in Andheri.
Fabulous ambience. Decent brand value. It gives the vibes that the place is for sophisticated people. Hence you go in with a preconceived notion and mindset.
I am a Suburban Borivali chap, I don't know how to rate it,
1) Food is not as bland as you expect in a high class hotel, but is not that great also that it hits your taste buds. Because, after being to a couple of places across India, I know that taste is subjective and sometimes you get bad service and food. But here nothing stands out in the food department it's neither extremely bad nor good.
2) The ambience and the service is good. We went on a busy Saturday evening, but still the staff did their best to match the expectations of the full house and were constantly on the run to do their best and serve the needs of all the tables. Showing some empathy and giving them the benefits of doubt despite a long wait time for our briyani.
3) The overall experience was decent we had a good time. The wait time gave us more leisure time to spend so we had a win win situation.
The bill which came up was decent and did not leave a big hole in our pocket. We opted for the non buffet and still it was great.
I would recommend you to go there for a decent family outing or a date where you want to have a good conversation without the fear of annoying, loud people.
Minus 1 start as we were said that there was no sizzling brownie on the day we visited.
Best place to enjoy buffet, All items in buffet menu are good and tasty. Simply if you love food you my try dis buffet
Very good ambience and sitting arrangement. Food quality is top class for all the items thru out the range of meal course. Very good service. Valet parking is available. Be prepared to wait to get your seat as this place is always thronged by visitors. Nice waiting area with Newspaper rack beside.
Excellent and one of the most popular resturant in suburban Mumbai.
Very pleasant ambience, comfortable and stylish. Has decent place on mezzanine for groups.
The kitchen has never disappointed me. All dishes are very well done, good portions, right taste as per the cuisine, nicely plated and served.
Overall a star performing place. Not to be missed.
