This is opposite to Regal on the backside of the Sahakari Bhandar. A well know place to eat in the area, it also is inexpensive considering the locality of the restaurant and the quality as well as quantity of the food. Service: We went in a group of ten so they quickly arranged a table even though we didn't reserve one. Their services are quick. What I ate: We ordered Idli Chilly, Veg Cutlet and Sev Puri as Starters to try everything out and it was tasty In main course, we went with Paneer Makhanwala, Hara Bhara Kabab Masala and Veg Rangeela with Naan. All were good except Paneer Makhanwala didn't feel upto the mark. In rice, Hyderabadi biryani was also tasty. I have also tried Combination rice here and its yum. If you want just simple meal you couldn't go wrong with Veg Rangeela ( All veggies like beans, mushrooms, babycorns, carrots etc) with rotis and Fried Jeera Rice. The quantity is more than enough for two people. Overall a budget friendly place in Colaba with quick service and delicious food to grab a quick bite.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner everything is available. Not so costly place. Plus, pure veg so vegetarians would love this place. South Indian food is good. One can also get snacks at side counter ( juice, pav bhahi, other mumbaiya snacks )

Safe , Hygenic, and quick service. This is this Sahakari Bhandar Restaurant location right next to the Sahakari Bhandar shopping store making it the most convenient place to show and then grab something to eat. Its a no frills location with tasty food, you could try out all the classic Bombay street food here if you don't want to stand on the street and eat. Show up, order a Pav Bhajji with a Sweet Lime juice or dig in to a massive Masala Dosa. This is the best place for Breakfast, lunch, evening tea, and even a quick dinner. Massively affordable is another perk of the place making it a favourite for the locals as well as the tourists looking for an immersive Indian food cultural experience.

Foodies paradise and pure vegetarian. You name it and they have it( mostly Indian, aamchi Mumbai types and indo Chinese😁) Small and mostly crowded with quick service. We had dry fruits pav bhaji( melt in mouth pav), baby corn Manchuria and sweet lassi. Bill came around 400 with tip.

The place is cosy. Rates of the food are very pocket friendly. The service given is superb. They treat you as their own family. I am a regular customer here. Since 25 years now. Please go here, if you're in Colaba, with your group. You can even go alone 😉. It's clean n hygienic. Food is fresh, and you can get a lot of variety here.

This is one place which is a supermarket and is super convenient! You will find multiple options here of what you are looking for. Caution: Not all brands are available here but other options for it are. Along with other products that all super markets commonly provide, you get vegetables and grains here. There is also a huge variety of dairy products and tea leaves. You also get cutlery and few kitchen utensils. Some fibre or plastic items are also available. There is also a small scale medical store inside here, with limited products though. For a person with a mid-budget brands (non luxury or non super costly) this is a superb place. I recommend it whole heartedly!

Really good place to go have any meal with family or friends, especially when you're on a budget tour. You'd be going in not expecting any fancy stuff here, of course. It's a clean looking place close to the Gateway of India. And serves a variety of cuisines. We had ordered regular brunch food- dosas, idli, vada. The food was quite good, the service was fairly quick. The best part is how budget friendly this place is! It's an ideal place to go have meals with family.
