In the month of February it was my birthday
and I decided to treat myself. Took myself on a birthday date and loved this place. It's little pricey but the service was good and so the pizza. Would like to get my partner here post the Lockdown for sure.
A Pizza lover? And never been to Gustoso?
1 Meter long is their signature dish, and you get to chose 4 different pizzas of your choice. Make sure you have some really hungry friends with you when you are thinking to order this dish.
And as it is Gustoso's pizza, I was sure to expect something different and it was. Very different kind of pizza. Few pizzas were too bland for the spices loving buds of mine. The Indian one was really good ( for obvious reasons that it was perfectly spicy) and special mention to the service, very courteous staff.

Best Authentic Italian food in Mumbai. They really live up to their tag line 'We bring soul of Italy to the heart of Mumbai'. The newly updated drinks menu had great wines from Barolo to Chianti Classico, but we were attracted to the cocktails which the server said were made with homemade ingredients.
We had ordered 3 cocktails, Mediterrano /Framboise Valley / Something very Special, All the cocktails were perfectly mixed, bursting with flavor. The Mediterrano had homemade Chamomile, Grapefruit, Vodka and Aperol, it was pure pleasure to keep sipping this drink.
They served complimentary Sourdough breads with olive and Chilli oil while we waited for our food. They serve different styles of pizza's from Naples(thick corners) to Roman(thin crust), we had Giulio's Montanara which is lightly fried then baked in wood fired oven, 'Scrumptious' we enjoyed every bite. We had Mushroom Risotto and Angel hair Aglio alio for our mains.
A wonderful Experience would definitely go back.
The place was pleasant with comfortable lighting and seating. The drinks were a bit expensive but the food is decently priced. The "Stella" pizza is a must try and ours turned out to be pretty filling.
This was the most awaited place to be visited.
Didn't disappoint at all. Every bite of their specialty made me say "I loved it"

It is well said that “Life is a combination of magic & pasta”. This place justifies it totally. The authenticity in the taste and elegance in the ambiance was just mesmerising.
On a Saturday night, It was my 2nd visit to Gustoso. We were 6 friends with no prior reservation but the manager managed to give us a table in no time. I have tried a lot of dishes at Gustoso but what makes my heart melt & mouth water is the “TAGLIOLINI BOMBAY” dish.
~ The chef of Gustoso comes with a huge wheel of Parmesan cheese, flames it with brandy in the the center of the wheel. Once the Parmesan cheese melts, adds the homemade pasta to the cheese wheel. The chef mixes the tagliolini very well with the cheese and makes it very creamy. The Parmesan cheese flavour makes the dish delicious along with little chilli flakes, oregano & black pepper.

Good pizza but small portions of pastas
The most authentic Italian food I have had, barring Italy :D
In general, it was probably the BEST MEAL I had in 2019, and honestly 2019 was a year of stellar food experiences, so kudos to the Gustoso team!
We got:
1. Mushroom and truffle oil risotto that we loved so much we ordered a second plate
2. Fried calamari which was to die for
3. Star shaped pizza with ricotta cheese stuffed in the crust (featured in picture)
4. Choco lava cake that we devoured because it was so frickin' good even though we were absolutely stuffed!
I have no words to describe how phenomenal and legit Italian the food is here. If you haven't been, PLEASE head there immediately.
PS: The complimentary bread and chilli oil that they serve is super delish too. Don't give it a pass.
Excellent service, great food ...especially the oven fried pizza made in front of your eyes. Not a very huge place, great interiors and not very brightly lit up adds to the lovely cozy atmosphere. Great Italian food choices... wines was a let down... much on the expensive side the imported ones... Indian were cheap.. dont forget to try the Tiramisu... great ending to a lovely meal. Reservations are a must as this place can fill up quite fast.
The mushroom risotto was extremely creamy and the ambience is to die for. Great date location and the best part is it’s not too crowded. The pizza was good but wasn’t really worth the price

My first time being here so did not expect it to be a great Italian restaurant but it actually was. The ravioli, gnocchi, pizza, arancini, bruschetta... I could go on and on but all the dishes we ordered absolutely splendid. To me, it was one of the most authentic Italian food I have had in the city. Their tiramisu and Vanilla Panna cotta is to die for so if you visit here, it's a must.
Even their drinks were pretty good and paired well with the food
The staff was courteous and had fair amount of knowledge about the menu which is not found that easily elsewhere so I was highly impressed with that.
It definitely is an expensive treat so if you're looking for a quiet anniversary night filled with delicious food and sophisticated ambience, Gustoso is the place to be.
Food was absolutely delicious!! Wine list was even better!! Loved the great service!! Staff was very accommodative with small requests for a special occasion!!
Heard so much about Gustoso and finally visited it last week. Haven't stopped dreaming about their absolutely divine pizza with the softest dough ever. The prawn appetizer was fab, cheese and rice fried truffle balls were great. Choose a good Italian wine, they have an authentic range. The service was very courteous and the best part of course was the tiramisu. Heavenly!
Simple and neat ambience, with good service and pretty great food! The mushroom soup was spot on. As was the spinach ricotta ravioli. Some pretty interesting drinks, though priced at higher end. Pizza was very well done, light crust.
Heavy on the pocket. Recommended visit!

Gustaso- Awesome service with very close to authentic Italian food experience
Cravings for authentic Neapolitan style pizza landed us here… Wanted to visit for real long and we finally went last night. We did not have table booked but we got lucky n got one immediately.
Ambiance:
The place is done more with fine dine style with darker light settings. Has a classy feeling to it but not totally Italian for sure. They have tried to add small small elements depicting bits and pieces about Italian eating scenes/cafes/trattorias.
Service:
The staff here was just awesome throughout. They surely know the menu well, are well mannered and courteous. My friend had a doubt about syrups being used in mocktails and the person serving us not only happily explained the contents and difference, later he got the bottle of syrup from bar counter to show us how it looks and what it has. That was really going extra mile and it was awesome!
Food:
Now when it comes to food, they have all Italian style menu which looks really good and versatile.
As per the Italian tradition we were given breads to eat first. We ordered arancini and caprese salad to start with. We also called for pineapple based mocktail. Arancini arrived with truffle aioli and it was delicious with bits of mozzarella. The mocktail was tad bit sour for our tastebuds.
The tomatoes in salad were super firm n crunchy the reduction was good in taste, but the mozzarella was bit hard and not as fresh as it should be in authentic salad.
We then ordered the mains for which we had actually visited. The Pizze! We had the traditional margarita and quatro formaggi. Both came piping hot n looked very nice. Taste wise they were very very near to the authentic experience which was lovely! Loved the tomato sauce. Only thing was the crust I have had in naples in bit moister as compared to this. The size of pizza is smaller than a traditional Neapolitan. But its good experience for getting it right in Mumbai.
We ended our meal with tiramisu and vanilla gelato.
The tiramisu was light and had good coffee flavor, but it was too moist for our liking. Tasted more like mushy cake to us. Loved the gelato though. Nice natural vanilla flavor and quite smooth texture.
Cost wise they are bit pricy but can be good for once in while experiences or special occasions for the Italian food fiesta.

After being spoiled for choices me and my friend decided to visit gustoso for a quaint brunch. The thing that I like the most is the quaint bucolic exterior which gives rise to a very modern high renaissance almost interior.
The place was really quite and perfect and the food was brilliant , albeit a bit overpriced. The ravioli was just cooked to perfection , I ahve had raviolis all around the world but even the Romans could not beat you at it.
The fruit tart was slightly disappointing sicne it's just berries and not a array of fruits, but the tangy berry were perfectly neutralised by the sugary doughn.
Overall I would recommend all to do visit this place for its incredible hospitality , it's sophisticated ambience and ofcourse an excellent wine selection

Brandy infused pasta cooked in a cheese brick - this was the highlight of our authentic Italian food experience at Gustoso. It was such a delight watching the chef cook this 💯 cheesy pasta at our table. He was also kind enough to add some salami to their infamous Indianapoli veg pizza to satisfy C’s veg needs and my love for meat.
The freshly made Italian coffee based #tiramisu was the perfect ending to our meal. Totally recommend this place.
This place has been on our agenda for the longest time. I was with family and had only vegetarian.
I do not have anything to complain about this place. The service, right from the hostess to the serving staff.... everyone is very courteous. The ambience is awesome.....the food...I have never tasted mushroom risotto (FUNGI E TARTUFO) better than this 1 ever.
The AFFOGATO also was pretty exciting.
It was a treat to see the chef come out and prepare something with cheese (it looked awesome and I'm coming back to have that)

Albeit small, the ambience is absolutely adorable. Tried their 'Cappuccino' which was cold and bland, too milky for my taste. The 'Chicken Involtini' was great, perfectly cooked. The 'Homemade Tagliatelle' in a creamy walnut sauce was something unique and well made. The best dish was their 'Classic Margherita' pizza, which had the perfect base and crust and the freshest tomato sauce 👌. For dessert tried the 'Pannacotta with Amaretto crumb' which was the perfect end to the meal. Would definitely recommend 👍.
Want to eat authentic Italian food n ended up here.. decor is nice.. staff is polite .. ordered chicken minced pizza fennel salad.. both the dishes were made to perfection.. pizza crust was perfect and fennel flavour was just amazing in the salad.. but the best of all was tiramisu!! Its a must try!! Overall it was a good treat !

Gustoso has been one of the finest Italian places we have been to recently. The ambience and the feel of the place is so classy and upmarket. We loved the location too. In the prime Pali Hill area of bandra. It’s a dimly lit quiet cosy place which serves the most delectable Italian fare.
We tried the food and drinks as follows
1. Italian lemonade. Was refreshing and had a burst of flavours.
2. Pineapple cooler. A refreshing drink which was perfectly sweet and sour.
3. Crostini burrata. A great appetiser to start with. Loved the flavour of the burrata cheese. Just too perfect for words. A mix of soft gooey cheese on a crispy toasted base.
4. Truffle fries. A must have if you are a truffle fan. It’s an acquired taste and we love it.
5. Then came our mains. We tried the quattro formaggi. Made with the thinnest and crispiest crust and topped with a mix of 4 cheeses. Gorgonzola, mozzarella, scamorza and Parmesan. Was simply out of the world. A must try here.
6. Tagliolini Bombay. A pasta made from homemade taglioni and in a brandy flambé. Was good.
7. An arabiatta sauce based pizza with toppings like garlic, jalapeños, olives, mozzarella etc. was excellent.
I was too stuffed by the end of this order that I had no place for desserts but my friend did order some tiramisu and he loved it. The taste of the pizzas just lingers onto the taste buds for a long time cos they are so good. We also loved the service as they were extremely quick and helped us decide the order overall. Overall a great meal and I can say it was worth the trip all the way to try the food here. I would surely be back for more.

Funghi-e-tartufo:There is nothing quite like creamy and savoury rice as this one.This one is seemingly a gourmet-dish.If this has u weak in the knees,dont tell me i didnt warn you.A meal by itself.The grana padano cheese with white wine and the delicate funghi cook this stunner to perfection.
Capelle d'angelo:Aglioolio-e-pepperconcino:The roman staple is full-bodied flavour with perfectly crisp thin slivers of garlic.A la-dente on point.U do have a choice of angel hair or spaghetti for this one.

We came here sometime ago for dinner - 4 adults and 1 toddler.
Service is really nice and friendly. Price wise is ok, not too crazy expensive. The interior is not very italian and a bit stiff/fancy type and you can tell it is attracting that type of crowd as well. Not really my type of scene when it comes to italian food and i prefer more tratoria style restaurants and a more relaxed ambiance.
Food wise though it was allright definitely nothing exceptional as italian food. We ordered two pizzas - pepperoni and basil - both were good but the pizza dough felt more like a tandoori indian bread than Napoletan based. The burrata salad was ok, not super fresh.
The desserts were delicious on the other hand - great tiramisu and tortino were really yummy!
Would love to be back and try some pasta dishes though.

Dimly lit, chic and elegant in it's decor, Gustoso has a warm inviting ambiance.
It's food menu is a mix of traditional Italian classics, it includes soup, salads, appetizers, pizza, pasta, risotto, mains and desserts.
It also has a elaborate bar menu with a extensive wine collection.

SOUP :-
ZUPPA DI PORCINI -
Porcini mushroom soup flavoured with onions, leek, garlic, thyme and truffle oil.
Warm and comforting, loved the aroma of truffle oil coming through !
SALADS :-
INSALATA DI BURRATA -
Burrata salad made with arugula leaves, cherry tomatoes and avocados. Dressed in a mustard vinaigrette dressing and garnished with balsamic glaze and hazelnuts.
The burrata was soft and creamy, the roasted cherry tomatoes beautifully cut through its richness, arugula added a nice freshness !
APPETIZERS :-
GAMBERONI ALL' AGLIO -
Tiger prawns reduced in white wine then tossed in tomato garlic sauce.
The prawns were succulent, the spicy tomato garlic sauce flavoured them aptly.
PASTA :-
RAVIOLI BURRO E SALVIA -
Homemade ravioli pasta stuffed with ricotta and spinach. Tossed in butter sage sauce.
Ricotta cheese and spinach work like magic together, The butter sage sauce was mild so one could rightly enjoy the homemade pasta, Nice !
PIZZA :-
INDIANAPOLI -
Hand stretched pizza layered with san morzano tomato sauce, topped with sauteed onions, olives, mushrooms, and jalapenos, garnished with bell pepper reduction and baked in a wood fired oven.
Gustoso is known for its pizza and it delivers, The pizza had a perfect crispy moist crust, bell pepper reduction added a nice spice !
MAINS :-
CAPESANTE SCOTTATE -
Pan seared scallops served with pea puree and roasted cauliflower.
The scallops were seared to perfection, it had its own natural sweetness, pea puree acted as it's perfect accompaniment. Loved it !
DESSERTS :-
TIRAMISU -
Savoiardi biscuits drenched in expresso coffee, layered with mascarpone cream and garnished with cocoa powder.
EXPRESSO CROQUANT -
Coffee ice cream made with almond and buttercrunch.
Both the desserts were outstanding, tiramisu was light airy and perfect, coffee ice cream was creamy nutty and crunchy !!
If Coffee is your favourite then you can try both the options at Gustoso !
Overall, I had a fantastic time.
Gustoso is a perfect option if one wants to enjoy an authentic Italian meal.
Service is very polite and courteous.

Gustoso is back after renovation. They have changed the whole look and feel of the property. Right from the beautiful entrance, comfortable seating, open dough area with the ever so tempting aroma of pizza bread, music, soothing fine-dine vibes, everything has changed.
They have upscale with the new look and menu. Visited for lunch and it was one of the best Italian meal I ever had. The new menu at Gustoso is unique, when you compare it with other Italian restaurants in Mumbai. They have focused more towards southern part (Napoleon) of Italy. .
Hospitality is top notch. Pricing a bit heavy on pocket but justified as it is a high end restaurant at a posh location serving quality food. I tried many dishes like lamb, pumpkin soup, calamari, chicken, red snapper, pasta, dessert Tiramisu and Panna cotta. All the dishes are super delectable.
At an Italian place, one can't miss ordering pizza. I had very unique wood fried pizza and it was surprisingly heavenly.
I had an scrumptious meal at Gustoso and can't wait to visit them again. Go Italian!!

What stands out - The authentic Italian dishes.
Came here with a friend on a weeknight after work. The place is extremely well made with superb interiors. The staff is very polite and courteous right from the valet guy to servers and manager. There are different types of seating too. They have some premium whiskeys and wines on offer in their pretty grand bar.
The service has been excellent. Our server was more than happy to help us select what to call for and we loved her suggestions. The mushroom soup was something I have never had before. Was simply out of this world. They are known for their pizzas and for good reason. I am a more purist kind of a pizza lover and we really enjoyed their four cheese pizza. Panna Cotta was another gem on a dessert.

I love this place... was a regular at kemp’s corner. The decor is nice... however I liked the one at kemp’s corner better! The food is excellent...! I love the baked aubergine and mozerrala! The pizzas a great too! I love their home made garlic bread.. which is more like a pizza than the usual garlic bread. So try their tiramisu and the pannacotta... both are awesome!

Gustoso, is an Italian restaurant nestled in Khar. I visited this beautiful place last week for a lunch and completely mesmerized by the overall aspects of this place.
Talking about the ambience, exclusively elegant interiors will set you on an Italian short journey.
The interiors designer helps us see through his vision, be the lovely or the well planned comfortable seating area. The live pizza counter adds to the overall appeal.
Wiri, from the crew looked after our table. This guy was really impressive with service, well trained and polite. We relied on his recommendations for most of the dishes.
Let's begin with some drinks, tried Omerta and Monte Carlo among the cocktails. Monte Carlo is a rum based cocktail with egg white and basil giving out mild fragrance, and zesty flavours coming from Chandon brut.
On the other hand, Omerta is a whiskey based cocktail with jack Daniel's coming in as ultimate flavour enhancer.
If you wish to go for something refreshing try their Cucumber Mocktail. Treat yourself with this refresher with coolness of cucumber, lemon and thyme.
Coming to the food, we ahad Gamberoni All' Aglio. This were King Prawns tossed in white wine and tomato sauce had evenly adapted to the flavours. This is a must try for prawns lovers.
Friturra Di Calamari was another appetizer we tried here, this was crisp fried Calamari rings in a spicy marinara sauce.
For the mains, tried Pollo Piccante pizza. Wanna try something really spicy??? Go for this pizza which has spicy minced chicken and more spiciness coming ouf from chilli infused olive oil. With all this spicyness too, this one had complete balance of flavours.
Tagliolini Bombay, now this pasta is prepared at your table on Grana Padano Cheese wheel, the delightful preparation will keep you drooling.
Desserts now, Tortino is basically chocolave cake. But what adds to it is the Vanilla ice cream along with Berry compote.
But Tiramisu was the clear favourite here, this creamy delight with rich coffee flavours is a must try.
Overall, a delightful dining experience at this place. I shall surely recommend this place for some authentic Italian food.

Gustoso Mark Two.
Let's be honest, it's a lot more palatable for punters to pay 1k INR (about 15$) for a pizza, not a modest sum by any means in Bombay, and get a more sophisticated ambience to go along with it. The old Pizza Metro terracotta floor and a Vespa floating in full view were perhaps not what one might have expected in the pricier city establishments. In come the new designers with the soft fabrics, the dark wallpapers and the copper accessories and out go any traces of an Italian restaurant.
The pizza is, however, a tribute to tradition. Yes, you've got the oven hot enough, I see the characteristic black speckle marks on the cornicone (crust for the layman) and no ingredient is misplaced on the Margherita. This is better than I ever remembered it.
Unfortunately I have had to slay a few dragons to get to Princess Margherita. The gamut of pastas are second fiddle to Cin Cin in BKC (now the authority on good pasta in Mumbai) Ok, great you've got a parmesan wheel the size of a tuk-tuk wheel and you're flambéing up pasta table-side with a bit of cheap brandy. Am I bothered? No.
The small portion size is not fit for one savage, Neanderthalic connoisseur even as a starter let alone a main dish. Trying to split it? Not a chance.
The Quinoa and Kale salad is fresh, crisp and lightly dressed. The only complaint would be at 850 INR for what is effectively a side salad, there's little economy to be had here. The complimentary bread will be of comfort for those who lament the disappearance of the bread basket from many a continental restaurant.
We had some desserts too - one scoop of Gelato? Really, I'm a two scoops kinda guy. That's maybe the one and only thing I share in common with our Twittertastic POTUS. Gotta be two, not one. I forget the other dish but as I've said before if Italian desserts are memorable, something's gone wrong in the courses before.
That pizza is still in mind, for sure.

Located in the posh vicinity of Pali Hill Bandra, Gustoso is a fine dine serving the best Neapolitan Pizza in Mumbai. This was my first visit to this outlet, I'd been to the one at Kemp's corner earlier and decided to try this one since that one is under renovation. The ambience of this outlet is exceptional and it gives a great vibe to chill with friends while enjoying some wine and great food.
Being a Monday morning, this place was empty when we walked in, but was soon filled with a group of foreigners. The servers here are trained and are too polite and look into every single detail to make your dining experience worth it.
Our meal began with a complementary basket of fresh inhouse bread which were just baked and still warm. No flavour in it but the taste of fresh bread is just amazing. They should try putting some herbs and olives in it though.
We then went with the ARANCINI. The truffle aioli served with it was out of the world. The arancini itself had a great flavour of mushrooms and saffron in it along with slight mozeralla cheese for the pull. Tasted great.
For the pizza we went with STELLA. This was a star shaped pizza, somewhat like a calzone pizza, the crust being filled with ricotta and olives. The size of it is small but it's heavy due to the cheese. The crust is amazing and the sauce is just perfect. I would have loved it if they had included a topping on it as well and made it slightly bigger so that one could enjoy the pizza factor of it as well.
The star of the show was ofcourse the TAGLIOLINI BOMBAY. The chef himself comes with a wheel of parmesan cheese, flambés it with brandy and tosses the handmade pasta which are already cooked in cream inside it. The cheese flavour that comes out is phenomenal. A little bit of pepper, chilli flakes and chilli oil does wonders to this dish.
I'll definitely be back.

A tiny let down was the panna cotta. It was a bit heavy as opposed to light and refreshing.
So last evening we were at carters and searching for good Italian place to dine. Gustoso popped up at the top spot. I wasn’t surprised as having been to their south mumbai outlet multiple times and experienced great hospitality.
For a change this time we stared with pumpkin soup and chicken pate crostini. The soup was divine. Texture, flavours and presentation was prefect. My son tried their stuffed rolled chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The house made stuffed ravioli and Prosciutto pizza was the highlight of the meal. The spinach and ricotta stuffing was delicious. The pizza crust and the toppings tasted great.
We finished with lava cake and expresso ice- cream. The berry compote served with cake was absolutely delicious.
The servers didn’t rush for each course and gave us enough time to relish our food.
By the way, do not miss the orange Mojito!

Gustoso- an authentic Italian restaurant serving contemporary as well as classic italian dishes. The bar menu showcases a beautiful variety of classic aswell as signature cocktails that one must definitely try. The ambience is simple yet elegant. Shout out to Surpiya for fantastic service.

Thick Porcini mushroom soup with onions, leek, garlic, thyme and a hint of Italian truffle oil. The texture was smooth and consistency was perfect. The portion size is fantastic for the price. Highly recommended!
ANTIPASTI-
House baked fresh crostini with sauteed oyster mushrooms, garnished with goat cheese.
The texture of the mushroom was nice and crispy. The flavours of mushroom and goat cheese was epic.
Gamberoni All' Aglio-
My friend was really Keen on trying the prawns here at Gustoso so we decided to call for this dish.
The prawns were king sized and were sauteed in white wine, tomato and garlic sauce. Looked and tasted delicious. Big thumbsup from my friend.
PASTE-
Tagliolini Bombay-
Home made tagliolini tossed in grana padano cheese wheel with rum flambe. The dish is tossed right in front of your which definitely a delightful experience. Undoubtedly the best I've had so far.
PIZZE-

Hand tossed, thincrust woodfire pizza with Basil pesto, san marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella and italian truffle oil. Must must try at Gustoso. They legit do the best pizza in town.
DOLCI-
Tortino-
Fresh chocolate lava cake with berry compote and vanilla icecream. Perfect way to end the italian affair.
Our overall experience was beyond amazing and we highly recommend our readers to try this place.
I visited the one at Khar because I’d heard such good stuff about it.
Tried the pumpkin almond soup and it was the perfect sweet and creamy and buttery soup but so light on the stomach.
The Arancini balls were just the right cheesy, ricey and mushroomy combination. (Personal favourite)
The margherita pizza (I’m still excited about the perfection of it all) wood fire oven pizzas always win. The crust was crunch and the sauce was perfect and the cheese was fresh and yummy.
You know the perfect pizzas we see on tv or YouTube videos this ticks all those boxes.
The food is incredible, however, the portions are very sparse. I would suggest the taglioni, Mellanzane Parmigiana, Gnocchi. The Pizzas are great here!

So - I’ve been a regular patron of the Gustoso at Kemp’s Corner, and this was my first visit to the Bandra branch. Why does this matter?
Because there are a few items in the updated menu that had not made it to the Kemp’s Corner section before it had shut for renovations.
And it so happens - that my new personal favourite is from among those “updated” menu items.
It’s called the Giuluo’s “Montanara”. And I’m reasonably certain I’ve messed that spelling up. Thing is - this pizza is almost like my previous favourite pizza - the margarita, but with a twist of fate that makes it better in every way. It’s lightly fried (yeah you heard that right- FRIED) and then baked, with all the goodness of Parmesan and the ingredient that makes Gustoso’s pizza’s untouchable at the top spot - the San Marzano signature sauce. And while I was skeptical - since I’m not a huge fan of the “crunchy paper thin crust” kind of pizza’s - this pizza gives itself a crust that’s almost magically unique. I know it sounds like I’m over-selling this - but it was genuinely brilliant - and re-affirmed for me why Gustoso still holds the “best pizza in town spot” with a relatively substantial margin above the rest.
I’d visited with a friend - who’s not particularly a fan of pizza’s, and even after force feeding him a slice on the pretext of a single bite - even he couldn’t help but remark at how brilliant it was. (I didn’t offer him another slice though - convincing myself that greed could be seen as a virtue. sometimes.)
We’d started the meal with the bruschetta - supremely simple, and delicious as always. The subtle joys of an uncomplicated dish always manifests itself in this dish.
All in all - Gustoso’s more than worth a visit even if you’re just mildly fond of Italian food - and if you’re a genuine pizza person - I’m afraid I don’t believe you. Cause no one who’s not eaten at this place could ever make that claim.
Enough said.

Italy on a Mumbai plate, that’s the best way to describe Gustoso. In the midst of the hustle bustle of Bandra lies this amazing Italian eatery with authentic Italian flavours. It’s interiors are well thought out with wine racks and a wood fired oven giving it a cozy feel, perfect for a date or to hang out with friends. Great food with traditional Italian ingredients, each bite will take you back to Italy. Great selection of cheese, wines and cocktails. The sauces are bursting with flavour and freshness, perfectly cooked meat, wood fired pizzas, pillowy soft gnocchi and sinful dessert. So if you in the mood for a delicious Italian fiesta Gustoso is the right place for you.

Positano
Absolut with Aperol, Fresh Orange Juice & Grape fruit, Build in High Ball Glass.
Vecchio Toto
Jack Daniels, Campari and Dry Vermouth add all into a mixing glass with Ice Cube and pour on ice in rock glass.
Omerta
Jack Daniels, Lime juice Sugar Syrup Egg White Amaretto and Dash of Islay malt in a shaker and strain in Rock Glass.
Gamberoni All’Aglio
King prawns sautéed in white wine, tomato and garlic sauce.
Pollo alla Cacciatore
Chichen in tomato and bell pepper sauce on a bed of mashed potatoes, topped with crispy capers.
Pane Pizza with Mozzarella
Mini pizza with garlic, olive oil, herbs and mozzarella.
Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina
Homemade gnocchi with san marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella and parmesan.
Diavola
Spicy ‘Napoli’ salami, jalapenos and mozzarella with san marzano tomato sauce.

Overall a delightful experience, we are definitely going again to try out thier other dishes and would highly recommend this place to everyone.
We went as a group for lunch. After a trip to Italy we have all been raving about how amazing the food was and how Italian here is not authentic. The pizza alone at Gustaso made us eat our words. Mind blown by the simplicity yet depth of flavor. The fresh smoky crust and dripping cheese... Yum!
We also went ballistic with desserts. Ordered four. The mango sorbet is a must have. Fresh and creamy. Tiramisu was a touch over soaked but the coffee hot was great. The Pannacotta was again good. And the Nutella pizza was a sugar hit we did not need :)
Overall. This is a must visit for hearty wholesome Italian.
Went here for lunch. Seems posh and is posh. Quick and polite service, yellowish lighting, nice cutlery, and incidentally no reception for people to really talk. Consequently, it's a bit noisy.
The prawn antipasti stands out and so does all of their Pizza (keep it simple with classic margarita). They seemed to be serving really fancy cocktails as well. The menu has italian names and english description, may take some time to order food :P
I am italian and food was absolutely amazing. Fresh and tasty, like the real italian one.
The price is a bit high but it is ok if I consider the quality of the products used.
Atmosphere is nice and classy. Everyone there is very professional.
Absolutely loved their classic margherita.
If there is ever a place to experiment with italian - this is it.

Crowded place, so make sure you have a reservation. Went there on a Friday night. The place was packed but the service was prompt n we were guided to our table immediately.
We started off with a whiskey sour and Bellini (Ruby peach puree n chandon brut - worth trying, was refreshing, I went for seconds)
The bruschetta was fresh - the cherry tomatoes with the balsamic was the right balance of flavors. The bread was soft n fresh. The portions are reasonably big so we didn't go for another appetizer.
For the mains, we ordered a pizza, their arabbiata with customized toppings. The base was just right with regards to the thickness n we thoroughly enjoyed it. Do try their chilli oil with the pizza.
The best part for me was their turamisu- I've always found them either too soggy or too sweet. This had an overload of coffee but it was amazing.. n was not very sweet. Totally made my day. I'd probably go back just for the desserts :)

As far as Italian eateries in Mumbai are concerned, Gustoso is top notch.
The pizza is outstanding along with the bruschetta. We ended up ordering 2 of each.
The seafood options (namely the fried prawn appetizer) and pasta options are also delicious.

The experience of a restaurant is enhanced further if we get to see how the chefs are preparing our food (the highlight being the pizza). Gustoso delivered just that and in style. Great ambience and the food is certainly full of flavours. Definitely a must-visit fir all food lovers.

So my husband is a pizza fiend and we order home from Gustoso every week, but take my advice and visit their restaurant! Absolutely fantastic forward spirit cocktails that packed a punch - we had the Kaffir Gimlet and El Jimador (Mezcal, guava juice, lemon and yummy)! Paired these with their Neopolitan crust pizzas, steaming and hot out of their wood fired oven, so delicious fresh! Their tiramisu is decadent! Just go!
Best Italian pizza in Mumbai. Authentic ingredients. Wood fired over. Only complaint the size of pizzas is quite small. It costs nothing to increase the diameter of a couple of centimeters! I guess they do this to keep you hungry so you order more! Which I never do. I leave still hungry. And that is why I only seldom go there, when I'm really missing the taste of pizza like at home. Please don't be so stingy!!

Yes the pizza was very good! The dough was very light and fluffy, no bloated feelings afterwards. If your looking for authentic pizza, this be the place to stop. Pasta was also very nice. Not a very big restaurant. Has cozy seating. Tiramisu was very light and very taste.

The bruschetta was good. Had two different veg pizzas, 12 inch is the thin crust pizza. Extremely fresh and delicious pizzas and some nice non alcoholic drinks. Tiramisu dessert was a perfect way to end the meal, it couldn't get any more tastier.
Overall experience good, pricing is slightly high but then it's worth once in a while.

Definitely enjoyed our Birthday dinner here. The food is delicious, from the Anti Pasti menu to the Pizza selection, everything is lip-smacking. The service is very prompt and the food is served within 10 mins of the order.
A world class multi cuisine restaurant that’s absolutely not possible to fathom from the nonchalant look outside. But as we stepped inside it we were welcome by a packed restaurant.
Thankfully without much wait the host showed us our seat. As we sat back and browsed through the order we realised that each and every menu can be tried. Unfortunately a stomach has a limit.
Thus we had a thin crust Indian masala pizza that was filled with vegetables and mushroom balls. Mindblowing would be an understatement.
A must visit place if you are in Mumbai
I really enjoyed my experience at Gustoso. The service staff could be a little more proactive, though they were always paying attention and would come quickly when called. The beetroot salad was really good and hit the spot. The pasta looked overcooked, but wasn't. The Sangria was not the best, but still worth it. Best part was that they were super kid friendly, even late into the evening!
The food was good. The service was quick and the staff was kind. The ambiance is pretty decent. Really liked the overall experience. Please do try their Tiramisu, it's one of the best this city has to offer.
No other pizza places can beat gustoso. The best in Mumbai.
