I have been ordering from Gold Coins for a long time now and the quality and preparation is always spot on.. My favourite dishes are Chicken Tandoori, Cream of Chicken Soup and Handi Chicken.. In fact the Handi Chicken is the best one I have had in a long time.. The packaging is always great and unlike other restaurants, Gold Coins sends in adequate quantity of onions, lemons and chutney. Totally Recommended!!

Been travelling India for 3 weeks and our final leg found us in Mumbai. Found this restaurant on Google. By far the most amazing food to date in India. The service was amazing, many free accompaniments and the food was out of this world. Both curries were the best we had in India, garlic naan was next level and the prawn chilli garlic noodles were amazing. Would highly, highly recommend. Well worth travelling to if not located near. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Sir!

We went for an afternoon lunch party at the Banquet Hall. Excellent service and food. The banquet manager Natarajan was very helpful and friendly. The entire team of Bahadur and his team of Vinod Ajay Rajesh and Virender were extremely professional and good at their job. Well done! Highly recommend.

Friendly staff and absolutely lovely place to visit for Indian and Chinese food. Food is always fresh and good quantity as well as quality. Free wifi is also available. I love love love the Basa manchurian dry and their sukka chicken is to die for.

This is a great place in Tardeo. Checks 2 boxes - tasty food and a reasonable price factor across the menu. Paneer chilly dry and Chicken Quesso are a must try. They recently started a continental menu that has an incredible spread. Gotta go guys!
Well I went to gold coin for the first time with my family on my birthday. The general implications you'd derive about the restaurant after reading the reviews is that gold coin is overall a good family restaurant, but let me tell you, It was much much more than I thought it could be.

This restaurant is in the same commercial complex as of mine so we are frequent visitor there. The food quality is great and is not too heavy on pockets. The ambience is nice and pleasant, they have separate space for large groups and parties.

I have been coming to this Restaurant since 2013. Food quality was great throughout the years.
I have tried almost all the dishes of Mansahari Dawat and Subji Ki Khasiyat as well as some dishes from Shaan E Tandoor, they serve a great variety of dishes 😀👌🏻.
Recently I visited this restaurant on a Saturday.
There is the usual rush on weekends at this restaurant (which is evident everywhere on a Saturday😅 in Mumbai).
Unfortunately the food quality was not upto the mark.(Maybe because it was a Saturday?? 🤔)
So I decided to go on a weekday (Tuesday) after this not so good experience on a "Saturday". I was satisfied that the food was good.
(Unlike that Saturday😒).
Just to test my curiosity😏 I visited this restaurant again on a Friday,only to find the food was worse than that Saturday🙄🤦♂️. From this, I concluded that I will henceforth only visit this restaurant on a Weekday no matter whatever happens😅😌🤷♂️.
Weekends can be bad, depending on the rush.😔

In weekends there's a lot of rush even if you book a table Online. You have to wait for 20-30 mins. But they compensate it with they quality and quantity of the food. They give us complimentary peanut and kids favorite cheeselings. Each and every dish over here is tempting in their own.

Amazing. Be it from the quality of the food to the service provided. Hot and sour soup was just delish. If you are a seafood lover you shouldn't miss out the Basa fish. Waiters were quiet sweet. Enough parking space. A delightful experience.

Its serves a lot of cuisines and also has banquet. But North Indian/Mughlai food is the best that they serve here. Lot of variety for non-vegetarian food is also available. Velet parking available so you can come in car. The ambience of the restaurant is nice and service is good.

This is a must visit place for everyone. It has got the best food(plus drinks to enjoy too) with very pleasant ambience and polite staff. I have digged into the Punjabi Cuisine and oh boy the chicken biryani here was exceptional!

We order from here on a weekly basis! Have tried practically every dish on the menu ! Their Punjabi and Chinese dishes are exceptional!
My personally favorite is the Thai pot rice ! Definitely a must try !

My favorite restaurant to order food from. It's a pretty decent watering hole near A/c market. The place is usually crowded in the evenings with families and children. The food here is outstanding. The Punjabi fare is to die for. I am simply in love with the Sholay Murg- big chicken pieces kept in a tandoori and then prepared in a mouthwatering gravy. Must try - The Chicken Rahara, Chicken Peshawari, Paneer Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, Veg Kanali, Machli Man Pasand, Bhatwar Da Murg, Reshmi Kabab, Sabzi Tiranga, Paneer Pasanda Nawabi, Garlic Naan, Roomali Roti. The drinks here are moderately priced but not cheap and the chakna quite good. It's a family restaurant that will leave a legacy behind in Tardeo area for sure.

Been here over a million times and probably eaten everything non vegetarian on the menu. I don't remember a single time I was unhappy. The ambience is good, nothing spectacular. It's mainly famous for it's Indian dishes although it does have Chinese which isnt worth boasting. The alcohol is priced fairly, service is quick and it doesn't leave a hole in your pocket.
The malai kebab(chicken) is great, as is the biriyani, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, prawns koliwada, mutton sagwala, patiala chicken et all.
Beautiful Ambience and a mind blowing place to go on a date. Chicken in the most awesome thing u will find here. They should compensate some prices though. Otherwise it's a good place.
My first visit at Gold Coins was a peaceful and satisfying experience.. The ambience here is very calm and the service was quick too. Though we did not try many dishes, but the Chicken lollypop and the Mutton kheema kabab made my day being a hardcore non vegie.

Well Well. it is the last review as a big foodie and turning to Super Foodie on Zomato. And I am glad that I went to this place to complete the potli of review.
Awesome. Fantastic. Mind Blastic. No words to describe it at all. One of the finest restaurants I've been to. For me the most important thing which has always been there is the quality of food. Along with it I also look how courteous the staff is. And yes, gold coin didn't just satisfy me, rather it delighted me on both the aspects.
After a lot of discussion and confusion of choosing a place, we finally decided that we would go to gold coin. And definitely this place turned out to be a gold coin for us.
I guess they take ultimate care of their guest all the time or were we given some special treatment.
Right from the complimentary dishes till the end of the meal, they just delighted us.
As a complimentary they gave us peanuts, papad with 2 chutneys, and last but not the least Carrot and Cucumber slices with Chaat Masala. Can it be any better? No I don't think so.
Then starts our starters, which included Dum Aloo Cheese kebab and Murg Hazarvi Kebabs. To just give it a twist we used to sprinkle Chaat Masala on it. The aloo perfectly cooked and coated. Murg Hazarvi Kebabs were perfectly tender. After that we ordered Mutton Kolhapuri and Paneer Peshawar which was beautifully served. Mutton Kolhapuri perfectly tender. And Paneer was on a very different race of its own.
Overall a very good experience.

Decent amabience and delicious food.One of the rare restaurants which has both Veg and No-veg delicacies equally tasty. One of their special dishes are Paneer Chilly Dry,Butter Chicken,Veg Pulav,Lemon Coriander Soup. An appropriate choice for birthday parties and dinner parties.
On a Sunday evening ,settled in this restaurant with a warm welcome where we could walk in and table for 11 available comfortably at 8pm..it was our first visit to this restaurant.. It had good ambience and was well lit with proper lightings. The staff was very friendly and the food served had good items for jain crowd with variety of cuisines available and good taste.. the service was quick to the order placed..
Service was quick and food was also delicious. The hospitality was at its best. We had punjabi & chinese food. Ambience was good. Will come again for some other variety.

Gold coins was rather a surprise just next door.
It's next to my office building but never went there, but finally tried it on a hungry afternoon. The hospitality was quite warm and comforting. Ambience is very decent as per other compared restaurants serving multi cuisine.

All were good with decent quantity which can serve for three people.

It has warm ambiance and comfortable seating arrangement. The staff here is friendly. Coming to the food we had ordered chef special MURGH BHATTI along with CHICKEN SPRING ROLL, CHICKEN 65 and in the dessert CARAMEL CUSTARD.
Everything was good in taste and upto the mark. Just the service here was little being saturady night and place being crowded. Overall a good place to visit with friends & family

They also have a party/function hall. They have velet parking available. The restaurant is spacious and ample of seating is available. Walk in is fine and if you opt for home delivery it will take approximately 40 minutes for your order to be delivered. The ambience of the restaurant is nice and service is good. Their Menu has a wide range of options to select from.
What we ordered: Masala Chaas, Corn Soup, Coriander Lemon Soup, Dum Aaloo Cheese Kebab, Palak Cheese Tikki, Veg. Mix Platter, Paneer Tikka Masala, Veg. Hungama, Gold Coin Special Subzi, Roti Ki Tokri, Cheese Chilli Garlic Naan, Triple Sezwan Rice
We started with soups: corn soup – the clear corn soup with corn broth was tasty while Coriander Lemon Soup was little spicy. For appetizers we ordered Palak Cheese Tikki where crisp fried chatpat patties were layered with cheese and tomato which were served hot and once you take the bite the melting cheese is just irresistible as well as Dum Aaloo Cheese Kebab which was stuffed potatoes with capsicum and cheese grilled in tandoor and it was brilliantly made by the chef so both the appetizers are recommended. We also ordered one Veg. Mix Platter where you get many platters in one – a combination of assorted paneer, gobi, mushroom, babycorn and potatoes flavoured with spicy herbs – this is something recommended for people who wants to try grilled vegetables in one plate. For the mains we ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, Veg. Hungama, and Gold Coin Speial Subzi along with Butter Naan and Cheese Chilli Garlic Naan. Paneer tikka Masala had roasted paneer cooked in a red rich tomato gravy which tasted delicious. Veg Hungagma comprised of chopped farm veggies infused with spices and fresh herbs, tossed in thick tomato grav and garnished with yummy paneer bhurjee – a unique combination which was tasty. Next we also ordered their special called Gold Coin Special Subzi which had mixed vegetables cooked in rich tomato gravy and creamy cashew-nut gravy which were served together which had sweet and tangy taste combined. We opted for Small Roti Ki Tokri which comprised of Butter Naan, Butter Roomali Roti, Butter Paratha, Butter Kulcha, Tandoori Roti but most of them had became hard and were chewy whereas Cheese Chilli Garlic Naan was better and was tasty with perfect cheese and garlic combination topped with some chillies. We also opted for Masala Chaas which is a must have appetizer. Lastly we though to try Veg. Triple Sezwan Rice which we thought would be good but were disappointed as the dish lacked sezwan flavours and the rice was dry too.
Overall, the appetizers and main course were good but the triple sezwan rice failed to make its mark. The quality of the food can be improved while the quantity is good. Service was nice. The dishes are priced slightly on the higher size but goo VFM for appetizers and main courses. We would recommend to stick to North Indian Cuisines.

Serving North Indian, Chinese, Mughlai, Italian & Mexican, Gold Coins Restaurant is mostly packed on weekends due to its high demand for delicious food at not a very high rates.
We have savoured North Indian, Mughlai & Chinese cuisines here. Our experience with North Indian & Mughlai food was absolutely satisfying but Chinese did not do the same justice.
We ordered for:
Crispy Chicken – To be precise, the chicken pieces were hard & lacked the tenderness. Although, the sauce tasted good.
Triple Schezwan Rice – Lacked the flavour of the schezwan sauce. This rice was cooked too dry.
Egg Hakka Noodles – The only thing which we liked from the food that we ordered was this Egg Hakka Noodles. Egg was put with kind and noodles were cooked to perfection.
Would highly recommend to choose/ stick to their North Indian & Mughlai cuisine.

I have been going to this place since I was a child, hunger meant Gold coin, though being opp my office it was also a place to meet clients and entertain them, from a small local joint has come up well as a semi fine dine & a party hall to go on the side. All in all in a quick view if don't want too fancy to too local then get GOLD COINed
Never been disappointed when I visited the restaurant or ordered food at home. The food is great and the service is at the same level. Recommended for everyone.

Gold coin Tardeo is located in the very popular area of south Mumbai. They got bright and positive vibes. Loved the bright lighting of the dining area. They got beautiful walls with a big chandelier in between. Seating has mainly couches so yes it is super comfortable.
The menu got excellent classic dishes. The bar has a few of the best cocktails and mocktails. The food menu got good variety available. Being an old and classical restaurant, their dishes were flavorful.
Cosmopolitan (Cocktail) – a classic cocktail made with vodka, sweet n sour, cranberry juice and orange liquor, served in a martini glass. (5/5)
Orange Mix Fizz (Mocktail) - A touch of basil and lime leaves, a fizzy drink made with orange bitters. Loved the balancing of flavors. (5/5)
Chakori Kebab – Chicken chunks marinated in green herbs, especially in fenugreek, then cooked well in tandoor. Loved the margination it was flavorful. (5/5)
Peri Peri Prawns – Prawns batter fried and tossed in peri peri sauce along with a few cubes of mix peppers. Loved the crunchiness of the prawns and the sauce was coated so well. (5/5)
Mutton Rogan josh – A classical dish made in the most authentic way. Boneless mutton cubes cooked so well in thin traditional rogan josh gravy. The Doneness of the mutton was too good. I had garlic butter naan with it, which was just perfect. (5/5)
Caramel custard- The best and my favorite dessert to try in a classic restaurant like this. It was superb.

We ordered veg platter, chicken platter and chickem manchow soup, all tasted yummm, in maincourse we ordered one gravy dish, it was good but quantity was less.
