Panchavati Gaurav restaurant is located at Marine Lines, Girgaon Area in Mumbai. I have tried Paneer Pakoda here which was really nice and Paneer was very soft. Mendu vada and
Masala Dosa were up to the mark. Also I recommend to try other South Indian dishes here as this restaurant is famous for South Indian cuisine. You can also try North Indian cuisine.

I had ordered a takeaway meal box which contained 1 gujarati dal, 5 chapatis , 2 sabjis ( paneer mutter and aloo ) , salad and 1 small rice . 2 farsans ( dhokla and wada ) , 1 sweet ( gulab jamun) and pickle. The quantity was good enough for a single person. However, i did not like the aloo sabji and it was very oily. The other items were good .
This place is very close to bombay hospital and Marine lines station. Been there since years serving great gujrati / rajasthani thali. They serve unlimited food and they have great tasting food with lot of variety. Darsan vegetables dal kadi rice khichdi papad sweet chutneys and butter milk. Service is goos and ambiance very welcoming. Must try
Having many thali options all over Mumbai, yet Panchvati Gaurav which is located in Marine lines gives you a meal which satisfies your tummy. They have many branches now in Mumbai too. They serve Gujarati and Marwadi cuisine in their Thali with lot of varieties. Service is really nice and they will not stop serving you with a smile until you say stop. Price is affordable too.

Very delicious Gujarati thali restaurant chain, mouthwatering delicious food little costly but good option for Gujaratis and Gujarati food lovers
This is one of our go to places for a thali. They do have a mini tiffin box which we usually have but this time we went for the full thali and it didn’t disappoint us.
When you enter this place you see giant thalis and small bowls in it , good rajsthani and pure gujarati food served , everything is served here starting from starters to dal roti gravy butter milk to sweets , when we went we got to try Aam Raas . On rotis you see Ghee and pure ghee applied, service is bit slow but worth a eat , parcel is not recommended.
One of the oldest thali joints in Mumbai. U can get good Marwari or Fuji thali at this Panchesti. Once can have unlimited thali for lunch or dinner in a jiffy.
Very good ambience, very good crowd and most of all very good food. The thali is amazing and you got to skip a meal before to have this thali. Unlimited serving and it's worth it !
Was in south Mumbai few days back and we decided to have thali experience. What better place it can be other then Panchwati Gaurav

1. Quality was really good all veg n items which they were serving was instantly cooked and it was hot.
2. Quantity as it's unlimited thalli so you can eat till your stomach is full.
3. I went on Tuesday so they were having special prices Rs.300 per thalli.
4. They serve daal batti, chapati, puri, 3-4 veg dal kadi 2 sweets salad papad chanch jaljeera was too good khichdi rice.
Must visit its far much better than RAJDHANI. Rajdhani was so pathetic in taste.
For all those food lovers this is an awesome place that serves Thali Food. The service is too good. The food tastes just awesome. Hygine is also good. Value for money.

I had ordered a parcel thali for rs. 150. To be frank I wasn't expecting much from it, but it had enough quantity and for that price the quality was also really good. 5 roti, 2 bhaji including a paneer one, one starter, one sweet, etc. Food - 3.5/5 Value for money - 4.5/5
Pure Gujarati and rajasthani food is the speciality of this place. Panchvati Gaurav has food to die for... The rotis are outstanding. If you are a fan of Gujarati food, this is a must go place for you. You will definitely love the kadhi and dessert...
This place is to have perfect meal box for 1 person I have order a special meal box which contains 5 roti , 2 types of bhaji , 1 dal fry , 1 sweet , 2 starter , 1 plate rice . Having good quality and good quantity the price of 130 rs is justify for the meal box
Overall taste: 4/5
We had been to the hospital and came out to find this place. Luckily it turned to be great. They have a full size thali in place at each table that gives you an idea how pretty amazing your meal is gonna be. They serve the Gujarati cuisine which is not particularly to everyone's taste but they serve you enough options to choose from - that it doesn't matter; especially at the price. Certainly a place not to be missed.
You enter, you see plate. You see precisely a big plate (thali with katoris). And you agree to start eating. It's an experience. They come with so many items from sabzi, dal to rotis and rice. Not to forget the sweets and buttermilk. The day we went there was aam ras.
Yummy food and good place to eat.
Absolutely value for money.Quality food,Good quantity and super fast service.Overall and excellent experience.Worth a visit with family and friends
From packing to the taste- 5/5. Only concern was a extra Oil in Mix Paneer curry, other than that everything was good.
delivery as per expected
thanks
Excellent place for vegetarians. With pocket friendly and quick Service we get variety of veg eatables which can satisfy your hunger . And it is unlimited too.!
Yummy food. Great spread..went with my cousin Ishita Punjani for dinner. Perfect thali with blend of flavors. Healthy and tasty options. Best was pure ghee put on food to our hearts content. We got tired eating. But staff kept filling our thali with food and staff was welcoming and extremely courteous.. great experience .

I am not a huge thali fan - thats why I wasn't as happy as some of my elders
It was a feast for them.
The service was super fast due to no rush - anything that I wanted was served immediately
That was a huge plus point
Recommend this place for Thali lovers who want to eat at an economical price

A must try for foodies. The food is just amazingly delicious.
One more addition to my favourite restaurants list!
Recommended for times when one is really hungry!
Just add fried papad and the rating goes to full 5 star.
Delicious food - awesome service. You are greeted with a Namaste which makes you feel like a royalty for a moment. Then it is followed by army of waiters eager to serve you. The food is tastiest at its best. The menu changes daily.
Pro Tip - Go there on a Tuesday for reduced price.
A must try for veg food lovers.
Enjoyed At fully way to Gujarati thali, Just go with empty Stomach # You need Good Capacity to have food there. Loved Undhiyu , Fruit Salad. Worth Visit
Excellent food!
Definitely try if you want to go for thalis.
Food quality and quantity both won't disappoint anyone.
Food options are plenty in a thali.
Food: Typical Gujju food that is sweet and spicy at the same time. The variety was good, 3 types of subzee, a meethi daal, a teekhi daal. The savories and chutneys were really good. While the food was decent, somehow it failed to pack a punch. I've tasted some really great authentic Gujju food before so this thaali was decent at best.
Ambience: The restaurant itself is like this huge wedding-y hall with lots of table settings. There is this ongoing buzzing sound what with all the people talking at the same time. Since there was no proper separation between the tables, it was kinda off putting.
Service: The servers were all nice and offered to replenish the thaali every few seconds.
I'd been toh their Andheri West outlet, which was a franchisee outlet, and was terribly disappointed by the quality of food offered. I've had few thalis and I know what the food tastes like but the Andheri one tasted nothing like what I had expected.
However, I chanced upon this outlet and was pleasantly surprised by their food and their hosts. The hosts here are really warm and welcomed us respectfully. We were seated immediately and the servers began serving us the meal, every food item one after the other. Three types of chutneys, batata wadas, dhokla, dal bhaati churma, dal and kadi - both sweet (Gujarati), a chickpeas dish, rice, plain dal, khichdi, puris, rotis, and so much more - all served with a generous spoonful of ghee. Honestly, everything tastes ten times better if it's served with ghee. For desserts, we had churma, seviya, and gulab jamuns. Yum yum and more yum! I particularly loved the gulab jamun. It was amazing!
Along with the very wholesome and hearty meal, we had a minty drink, more on the lines of jaljeera, and chhaas. We were full halfway through the meal. But the food was great so we continued to gorge on.
While I was unsure what to expect after my prior disappointing first visit, I am glad I visited the outlet run by the owners because it was totally worth.
Their menu changes everyday. So you may want to know the menu before visiting, having said that I don't think they will disappoint with their food at all.

Quite a decent thali for a decent price. It has four sabzi, 2 sweet curries, sweet, chatnis, chat, roti, rice and much more. The food was warm and I like my food hot, but it was fine. Service is top quality. Would go there again.
Went here with a friend for dinner and absolutely loved it. If you have dined in Rajdhani then do keep in mind that this is a not so dashy version of it but at more or less the same rate. But what is most heartening about this place is it's service. When they serve you one after another with a line of waiters carrying every course, you do feel special. But their hospitality does not serve there, if you are reluctant to try one of the dishes, every waiter is politely going to ask you to try it even in small quantity. When my friend refused to have papad she was asked thrice at intervals during dinner if she would like it.
Coming to the food, the peas kachori served was soft and the tangy yet sweet tamarind sauce complimented it to the fullest. I was a little dejected when no dhokla appeared but the fafra made @up for it. The paneer, beans and potato curry served had no distinct taste but it sure was fun dipping my 10/10 ghee coated phulka roti in the sweet Dal. A thicker curd based Dal was also served to balance the sweetness.
Hot jalebi which a nominally sweetened kheer with sliced almonds ended the course. The waiters again will nudge you to take another helping of kheer and frankly I gave in twice after putting down my napkin.
Overall an over-eating experience.
Good place to have proper Thali food in Town area of Mumbai.
Just need good appetite to relish the taste.
Not so pocket friendly for college students treat but a good place to eat occasionally
Food Joint was a bit difficult to find as its located a bit inside from the main road. But once we were inside and got a place to sit it was worth the efforts to travel from so long and put efforts to reach this place. Food was amazing and delicious especially the appetizer, small potato wadas, corn pattice and dhokla as well as kheer and gulabjamuns. Service is fast with courteous and attentive staff and good ambience. Taste was good and is worth a try atleast once.
This place is amazing....
Awesome food... Specially kachori and shrikhand...
Service is very nice...
Food is quality and taste both are superb...
Small outlet, and super friendly staff. Food- maa ke haath ka khana, it's the best place to go when your a home sick, or maybe for a family gathering. Worth the money
Panchavati Gaurav, as the name suggests is a specialty restaurant that serves a wide variety of delicious Gujarati and Rajasthani dishes. The specialty dish that is mostly in demand here is the Thali. The amazing artwork of this place combined with an affordable menu give its diners a wholesome experience. It is an ideal place for people who have a vegetarian inclination. Panchavati Gaurav is located in South Mumbai and the nearest landmark is Bombay Hospital.
A Best Thali to try.

After a very long time on the occasion of the Birthday of Lady partner of Connoiseur Couple we decided to visit this place for lunch and it was her first time. This place is not changed at all even though after visiting it after such a long time. The quality of food is still very good. They specialise in authentic gujarati Thali and as expected had a very tasty experience.
The cost of Thali is 410 per person as we had gone on a Friday. They do have a Tuesday offer when the Thali cost is 270 only.
Let's brief you all about the Thali we had that day.
Mango Ras and puri : very delicious.
Roti phulka was served on request and went really great with sweet dal, Aloo sabji and mix moong dal curry.
Paneer gravy sabji was also served for a slight punjabi touch however was okish.
Farsaan :
Samosa the filling of which of tasty but could have been better
Gobi wadi was Amazing and super tasty.
Sweet :
Jalebi which was disappointing to see as we expected a better sweet dish. However the taste was decent.
Rice with their trade mark lachko daal : This one was really nostalgic and took me to the golden childhood days as this is one dish I use to savour a lot out here and touchwood the taste is still awesome as ever. Loved it......
The best part is that every thing is served hot on table so you will enjoy your meal a lot.
Thanks for reading our review of this favourite place of ours.
For more food time stories keep following us on Zomato and Instagram.
Happy fooding until next time........
Pure vegetarian restaurant with good quality of food. Their Ambience is neat and clean. Like the concept of thali .Perfect place for family. Service was little slow which need to improve rest every things was perfect will love to come here again.
What a great place to have the authentic Gujarati thali.
The staff literally forces you to eat more. (Which I don't feel offensive in any way :P)
I loved how the staff treats you like a family there.
Do visit. Highly recommended. It won't only satisfy your taste buds but also make your stomach increase by 10 inch may be?
Amazing gujarati thali. Good taste of authentic gujarati food. Service is also good as compared to other thali restaurant. Best place for a family gathering.
Located in Marine lines..This one is my favourite outlet amongst many Thalis outlet in Mumbai.. it's one of the old and authentic Thali restaurant. Food is amazing with lots of Gujrati and marwadi combos.. Ambiance is royal , Staff is courteous.. 😀
Another classic joint serving unlimited thali, Panchvati Gaurav welcomes you with refreshing Jaljeera. This was followed by snacks, four sweets including gulab jamun, puranpoli, til laddoo and fruit salad, four variety of vegetables including undhiyo, a paneer gravy, a raw banana veggie and a pulse, dal, dahi kadhi, methi puri, chapati, rotlo, plain rice and pulao, papad, chaas, salad and pickle. I best loved the sabji made with raw bananas, the gulab jamun that was rightly soft and sweet and the puranpoli that was draped in ghee. I couldn't finish everything which is always the case with any kind of buffet or unlimited thali so have small portions of each and then take more of what you really like.
There was instrumental Bollywood music playing in the background that was a bit loud and thus toned down on request. lf you're around Bombay Hospital and craving some Gujrati/Rajasthani cuisine then you can give PG a try.
Sooooo many thali restaurants all over mumbai but Panchvati Gaurav remains one of the oldest and in the topmost categories. They have opened up their branches in many malls n other places now but nothing beats this particular one. Of course the distance for a suburban is quite a lot to travel each time right upto marine lines for the thali so sometimes we do opt for the mall branch.
The food served here is basically gujurati n a little touch of marwadi cuisine. Lots of varieties like farsan mithai, bateta nu shaak, one green shaak, kathol, sweet dal n kadhi or spicy dal n kadhi, pickles, chutneys, kuchumbar, etc etc.....and even the rotis, puris etc come in varieties. Rice n khichdi too are offered as a choice. If u like gujju food u will like everything here.
Service is excellent. We were served with a lot of love and each item was forced into our plate till we had to request to stop.....as we were stuffed. So definitely i could not find any fault there. Price wise, most of the thali places these days cost the same. So well worth it. One cuisine where all ur taste buds get pampered ....sweet, spicy, sour etc.
This place is amazing to have a Gujarati marwadi combo Thali! ( They dont serve "undio"- the most loved Gujarati dish).
Price is 500 per Thali - and unlimited service- let me tell you that's the way they advertise- no one will have that much amount of food in one go! Plus once they see your food getting over they try serving you sooner possible making you feel heavy. I mean having a Thali is like a hurting your tummy! I would rather prefer a decent south Indian thali
Tried this place for the second time. Awesome Thali! They served us like home. Tuesday thalis are provided with slashed rates. Food lovers should try this place!! All dishes served in Thali was good :) The food servers were quick and served everybody equally.
Amazing Gujarati thali ofcourse our vegetarian
Yum yum yum
And the servers and managers feed you like your their own babies
They stuff you , literally !
They have a deal on Tuesdays it's almost half price per person and yet they do not compromise on the quality or the quantity
Make sure u don't have breakfast 🍳 before u head to gobble this size of food !!
Rating 4.5 as there is always scope for improvement
A Sunday lunch with school friends..
A Mega Thali and more than welcoming hotel staff makes the food go down your mouth quite easily.
After an hour of food hospitality you literally yearn and wonder only if they could give a comfortable cot to sleep!!
Amazing traditional indian food.
Must Visit!!
Visited this place couple of weeks back, A thali served with yummy and delicious gujarati and rajasthani cuisines was really tempting, The prices are affordable, Their service is prompt and staff is very humble and polite.
Visit this place if you are in mood to binge on Proper Veg Thali.
Authentic Indian thali that u just can't resist. We reached at 4 pm and were d last customers. Nonetheless, the food was served hot and the stewards were cordial. There were just so many dishes and all had a unique taste. The masala and oil was just perfect. The starters and desserts were mouth watering. Will recommend to ppl who like simple indian meal. Slightly expensive for a thali but should be tried once.
I got a complimentary coupon for this restaurant . Thier special thali is what I ordered. They serve really good, puries are my favourite here .Even thier south Indian thali is worth try .
Naresh and I ate here and we couldn't get up. We were stuffed like pigs and let me tell you all:
We had no regrets. We loosened our belts and sat for a few minutes...
This is a you must go place.
A proper Gujarati food experience. We went for lunch. For lunch they have the thali system. The size of the thali made it look like we were in for something heavy. So many varieties of vegetables and sweets. I totally loved it. The staff was very energetic. They kept asking us if we wanted anything else.
A perfect destination to get traditional and delicious Gujarati thali. Farsan items are good as well as the vegetables and khichadi. You'll be lucky if you get to taste Fruit salad in sweets. It is a must have (in enormous quantity) item here. Ambience is good too.
I have visited this place once was superb experience we were all very hugry and waiting for food to have we had thali there very nycc they serve rotis hot which is a thing that makes u eat more there u have to make up ur mind of wat u want to eat bcz variety in thali is that much good experience must go!!

Took me a while to get over the overeating to write this .... Simple and sumptuous food... Good variety. Outstanding Moong daal halwa gets a special mention. Ambience average. Service was lethargic, considering it's a thaali joint, this should have been better. All in all a vey good meal on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Highly recommended
We went to this restaurant at closing time (around 11.30pm). We called restaurant and they kept it open for few more minutes. The service was quick. As they were closing there were omly few people at place. Food was good and heavy too!!
Finally, we were satisfied when we came out happily at around 12am ready to roam around marine drive! :-)
Speechless!!!!
The only thing that will come to your mind once you finish your meal. Truly a Gujarati style of serving where you will get tired eating but the hosts will not get tired serving you the most amazing and delicious dishes.
Summers being one of the best season to be at the restaurant, when you can test your taste buds to all the variety of stuff made from Mangoes.
A pleasant welcome is what you get when you enter this place for a meal. Had scrumptious and hearty thali during the lunch hour at Panchavati Gaurav. From the time you sit at the table, the service starts with every server eager to fill your plate with lots of food and making sure the you are absolutely full and with the ongoing mango season they will make sure that you binge on the season special Aamras and further more every time they see that the bowl is even half empty they full it up to brim. The food is really good with so many small serving you will be full in one serving itself. The food gives a feeling of home cooked food with lots of goodness added to it. The experience leaves you overwhelmed and the thali is highly recommended for lunch as you want to relax after eating so much.
Panchavati is not a restaurant for Thali, it's a Brand of Thali. Awesome presentation with delicious vegetarian dishes with welcome drink, buttermilk and sweets. Thali also have Rajasthani Dal-Bati and Gujarati Snacks....
All unlimited but with some what higher prices. Weekdays Thali in Mumbai is for ₹450 and on Sunday for ₹500.

Come here with your stomach empty cos you will be pampered to a level you can't imagine, best thali experience. Make sure you don't waste food, take enough that you can eat.
Great food...hygienic ambience...down to earth staff...and more than welcoming owner. The thali comes with great varieties at decent price. Great place for a family lunch.
A flurry of waiters came to us immediately served us the most delicious thali! An experience and tastes to remember well!
Great Rajasthani Thali Place.
Excellent Staff & Service.
Always look forward to the next visit.
Good health food but the service was little slow.. and costly if u having thali for 450 u cant have enough..
Liked the authentic taste. The one I tried was Gujarati thali.
Good food especially Gujarati thali
Now all over only few hotels serve Unlimited veg thali. But it's surprising that in Mumbai near Bombay hospital it's available. The verity and taste of food is excellent. But it's time consuming, one has to go when free time to enjoy such food.
Food:
The Sunday thali that my family ordered was good. Especially the sweet's were definitely a must try. Would recommend this place for any foodie out there.
Ambience:
It was a family friendly place with very good service. The staff was interactive and helpful.
