When the order was placed I had placed a special request that the garlic chicken and chicken pot rice should be spicy but it turned out to be sweet. I call the restaurant to inform them about my request and they confirmed that the will take care of my request but it was really disappointing that the food was to sweet, I always prefer dine in but due to this lockdown people aren't able to step out to have their favorite food hence the order food online but the foods taste is not up to the mark, it Din't fell that the food was worth paying😠

Now that i have dined over here so many times with my family i can tell you everything in detail . They have amazing starters and few months back this restaurant introduced a new starter called albaik chicken . Guys this starter sells like hot cakes because its a must try crunchy chicken served with a mayo dip. The staff is well trained to give you the best advice about which dish to order as per your preferences. Sheekh kabab tastes nice but they serve only two sheekh kababs thats a bit disappointing. Chicken nargesi and chicken patiala tastes really good . They serve the best naan . Its really soft and i must say your view point about naan will completely change. All restaurant chefs should come to jafferbhai's and observe how authentic naan is supposed to be prepared . Order naan it goes really well with gravy dishes . For biryani i wasnt satisfied with the quality of rice they use . Its not long grain basmati rice. Basmati rice gives biryani dishes an amazing flavour and texture . Chicken biryani was fine but do try the egg biryani it wont disappoint you. One might underestimate it but it tastes better than chicken biryani .

This is a must visit for all food enthusiasts. It has multiple outlets spread throughout the city, so it won't be much of a problem to drop into any outlet and savour a steaming hot plate of biryani and chicken tandoori. Their Mughlai Dishes are to die for. Especially the Chicken Tandoori!
Well this is a place known for its biryani.
But I will like to mention there starters are too great and I found the biryani OK and nothing great in its taste.

This place is hyped because of Biryani it offered. I have tried its egg biryani..must say the masala is delicious, with each Rice separated They porviide Half Biryani/few starters, so one can avoid food wastage.
They dont provide Curd raita as an accomplishment with Biryani, it needs to be ordered separately.
Dont forget to have their Caramel Custard, its heavenly delightful with each bite. It just mels in to the mouth.

This place is the famous for the Mumbai's best Chicken Biryani. The place is located exactly opposite to the Gol masjid. I am visiting here since I was small. The chicken biryani is one of my favourite and their raita is literally awesome. The taste is super awesome. Their tandoori chicken is also good. The spices they use are really too good. Jaffer Bhai's is the Biryani king of Mumbai. His biryani is famous in mumbai.

This place is just amazing everytime you go there, never disappoints in the taste and the quality of food. If you plan for some flavourful non- veg food outings then it is a place surely worth visiting.
Some things i would recommend are Nalli Nihari, Paya, Mutton Biryani, Kheema you name it just authectic and true to its flavors. Although the dishes we ordered were Chicken Reshmi Kebab and Chicken Tikka Biryani.

Jaffer Bhai's food have always been fantastic and upto the mark.
They specialize in serving finger-licking Biryani at any and every outlet across Mumbai. Delhi Darbar undoubtedly has always been a brand that sums up perfection and uniformity in whatever they serve.
The marine lines outlet is a little small comparatively. There is vallet parking available but hardly for 2 or 3 cars.

🔶 Tandoori prawns- something that i relish the most out here. Perfectly cooked prawns on tandoor ..crispy yet soft and tender inside. A delicacy not to be missed.
🔶Apple chicken-another classic dish.
🔶 Chicken burra- chicken tandoori with creamy gravy
In main course-
🔶Dabba gosht ..mutton in white gravy with mild spices .. extremely good.
🔶⭐Mutton dum biryani- one of their signature dishes. A typical mughlai biryani with mutton masala at the bottom topped with colourful aromatic rice. The mutton served is really good, fresh, well cleaned and cooked properly.
There are hardly few places that serve such great mutton biryani and Jaffer Bhai is definitely one of them.
They not only specialise in North and mughlai dishes but also nail Chinese dishes as well you can definitely try few of them like-

This place is the one if you want to have authentic North Indian or Mughlai dish. I visited this place recently and ordered Mutton Seekh Kebabs, Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. All of them were delicious specially the Butter Chicken was made perfectly and tasted like heaven. I would recommend the Garlic Naan because this place makes authentic Garlic Naan. It makes your dining experience more amazing. The prices of the dishes are very reasonable. You will have a fulfilling meal.
This place is already hyped so much but inspite of staying just 2kms away never got a chance to try it.

I heard a lot about this place from my wife. So finally visited here on Sunday for lunch.
We had full butter chicken , Tandoori Roti, half chicken Biryani and coke.
Butter chicken was so delicious. Lots of chicken pieces were added in it. Taste of the gravy was up-to the mark. Chicken was fresh. I just loved the taste.
As per my wife's recomondation we had tandoori Roti. It was really good & soft.
Chicken Biryani was really good in taste. Lots of perfectly cooked chicken pieces were added in it. It was delicious too.
Whenever I will be in Mumbai I will definitely try to visit here to tase different dishes.

Happened to b here on Friday night. This place needs no introduction as it serves lip smacking dishes to try. We tried some of them
Tangdi kebab:- 6 chicken leg pieces marinated and tandoor. A lovely smokey flavour gives it a 5 star.
Chicken tikka masala :- A very popular dish but unique taste. Loved the taste.
Chicken dil biryani :- A star dish of the day. Loved how it was cooked perfectly and given dum.
Best place to have authentic Biriyani and traditional preparation of mughlai. One of the Very few places where you get Khamiri Roti. All time favourite.
Been to this place last weekend for Lunch. Restaurant was empty and I lost the hopes of good food but place surprised me. Food was amazing and the service was good. Price was very reasonable and costs us around 900 for two people....

Hands down the best garlic naan I have ever had. I went there not as hungry but the sort of slow service made me hungry.
We ordered for garlic naan, chicken tikka masala and a mutton kheema biryani as we weren't very hungry. We ended our meal with a firni which was sweet creamy and dreamy.
The food quantity is good but it can be slightly expensive. Nonetheless, the North Indian food is not something to miss out on.
Absolutely loved the food and will go back to eat everything we ordered.

After a shopping spree at crawford, this is the best place to munch on some mouthwatering mughlai. This place is the perfect definition of #foodgasm.
What we ordered:
Chicken tikka: 5/5
It consists of six pieces of chicken. The pieces were really small but we loved each and every bite of it. The marination was not too dry or undercooked, with a perfect mixture of spices, chili and garlic. In short- YUM !!
Chicken lazeez boti:5/5
Again, 6 pieces but as compared to chicken tikka, this dish has bigger chicken pieces with no compromise with taste. This place is literally run by aliens as the taste just gets better with every bite.
Both the starters were served without chutney, which we thought would've gone really well with it.

The major reason why we visited this place is the hype that was created about the biryani served. The great expectations that we went in with were more than fulfilled. The rice was perfectly cooked, the proportion of gravy and chicken pieces was great. They don't serve raita along with it. So we ordered dahi kachumbar. The spicy biryani with the sweetness of raita made the dish an overall delight!
Apart from food, the ambience is good enough as well. The service was a bit slow.

Lovely food.. As always.. We tried kheema n rumali roti this time as we were already full ..and trust me it was yumm... Just loved it will surely visit again. We also had the caramel custard.. Loved that too.
Amazing North Indian Cuisine in heart of marine street (Mumbai) tried most of the restaurants in the area but this one stands out in terms of service,taste and choices offered.

"Delhi Darbar" is one of oldest and famous restaurants chain in the town. This place is very popular for it Mughlai and North Indian food. It often crowded with people especially in the evening and especially on weekends.
Biryani was okayish... But really liked the chicken mughlai.. and one of the rarest place where you can get those big fluffy tandoori rotis.. 👌

Jaffer Bhai's Delhi Darbar is one of the finest restaurant in Mumbai when it comes to mughlai.
To start with I had Chicken tandoori,Chicken lazeezi, which was good in taste.In gravy we had Chicken tikka masala, Saali booti, Nali nihari,which was also great in taste.
Biryani is something they are pioneer at...Mutton biryani and chicken biryani both were delicious and made according to the expectation.
Overall I would say a good hotel to have mughlai foodb but a bit expensive too

Ambience is good & very close to Marine Lines station which is a plus point for people who visit Marine Drive & want to eat non veg food in budget.
A good space for fine dining in Marine Lines area, considering how close it's to the Marine Lines station.
And about food, I didn't have any biriyani items for which they're famous for. I had Rumali Roti and the Bheja masala which I found to be good. Bheja masala could've been made less oily though. The service was quick and I'm certainly going back to try their Biriyani dishes.
Enjoyed my lunch at jaffer bhai. Food was excellent. We tried chicken lazeez boti it was mouth watering. Ambiance was good. It seemed crowded because of less space. Good for dine out.
A big fan of this place. While the food is a bit on the heavier side but that's what jaffer Bhai is all about. This time we ordered the Mutton Chap with rotis. The mutton was so well cooked and so soft. The masala was yum and not too spicy.... But the winner was the desserts - caramel custard and phirni.... We just could not get enough of it... A must try there...
The staff also are quite helpful and prompt... When in the mood to eat and then go for a nice heavenly sleep, Jaffer Bhai is the place...

Well I have been visiting Delhi Darbar since like the past 15 years (The first Delhi Darbar at Mumbai was at Dongri, the place where it was first launched) and the quality has never been deteriorated. The food quality is just too good at times they do tend to make it oily but that's okay, you can't eat Mughlai food without oil (😝). I have tried all the dishes except for those Arabic Menu (Served specifically at Colaba One).The Metro One is more sophisticated and tastier than other outlets of JBDD's overall outlets..
You can try tons of dishes here like Murg Masallam, Raan Sikandari, Chicken Patiala, Murg E Nargis, Chicken Korma, Dum Gosht etc etc.
Just visit it once you will come to know what I am trying to say..

Great tasty Biriyani and non veg dishes available. One of the oldest restaurant at Mumbai and it will be always crowded. They have dining areas both in the ground and first floor. Parking is an issue and worth for money. Definitely a place to have food when you are in Mumbai.

This was the first time I visited this place even that was not planned, we actually wanted to go to some other restaurant but by the time we reach there it was closed so owner of that restaurant only suggested we go to Jaffer Bhai's place as it was very close to this place. We haven't heard about this place before as we were a visitor in the city but my partner was glad that we ended up there as he got to eat tasty Biryani. Me being vegetarian I opted for just hot and sour soup which was okay in taste but this place seemed very famous in Mumbai as people kept coming with group of friends, family and they have 4 more outlets in other areas of Mumbai. Ambiance is decent and clean. Service was very nice.

It is nice place for Non-Veg Lovers but has very limited options for Veg. I would recommend to eat only Arabic cuisine and don't try any other options. We order Veg Paneer Acchari but it was not available and only other option was Panner tikka so we had to order Panner chilly dry from there chinese options but it was not worth it. It more like a Arabic dish trying to be a Wannabe Chinese Dish, it was that bad. Next we order Panner Tikka Biriyani it was good but the accompanying raita was too sweet. My Non-vegetarian friends had ordered Chicken Tikka & Chiken Biriyani & they said it tasted good. For desert we order Caramel Custard 🍮 but that too was ok. Overall I would say if you have never visited this place you should try once but will not go there again, atleast for Veg foods.

Taste was Good, but can't call it too exciting. The full plate was more than sufficient for 1 person, even on an empty stomach.
Was informed that Mughlai Mutton is their speciality wasn't able to order, as I went alone. Hopefully next time.

We were in the mood for Kebabs .. and Delhi Darbar did not disappoint. We ordered the mix grill platter and then a lucknow kebab.. all marinated and grilled to perfection. Dessert was a decadent Shahi Tukda. Perfect 🤩 will surely be back.
Visited this place a couple of weeks ago, we had ordered dahi butter chicken, roomali roti, chicken patiala, and paneer kurchan. Out of which dahi butter chicken was amazing. Rest all were average, chicken was not at all fresh in chicken patiala nor were the roomali roti (they were half cooked and cold). Paneer was also an average dish.. If you happen to visit you must order dahi butter chicken.. It was delicious and light too..!!
Good but not great. We had gone with high expectations and had a few disappointments. The chicken peices were burnt and dry due to over-heating. The rice had flavour of oil but the masala seemed to be insufficient to the rice quantity. Although the savoury was tasty, but did not match the Delhi Darbar experience.
The kebab ordered was good and well cooked, we enjoyed. Maybe if the biryani was equally great, then the food experience would have been fantastic
