An unique theme based multi-cuisine always vibrant with top notch service, the place was well managed with the staff periodically checking on what we wanted (Kudos to management).
I was truly impressed during my last visit while I was in India with the variety of dishes offered and swift service inspite of no gas facility.
Superlative presentation! happy dining! Keep up the good work!
Its a wonderful family experience of fine food .Everyone can get lovely yummy dishes of ones own choice...Make mindboggling juices, iced tea and cold coffee....Just go n enjoy...
Its amazing place..delicious food..& good service! Must visit
Food, presentation, ambiance was wonderful and so inexpensive :) Will be coming again soon :)
Happened to visit this place by chance but it was the best decision we made, i wasn’t keen due to the reviews I read but this place changed my belief. I truly suggest do not visit any place based on reviews or you may miss out on a good one! We had been to a neighbouring joint in the vicinity which was a complete turn-off since for a veg order they served a dish which had a piece of non-veg, I do not wish to defame any restaurant so I am not mentioning the name of the neighbouring joint. However, The Boat Cafe experience is totally a worth mention! We enjoyed the delicious Thai Curry with rice, Chilli Garlic Fondue, Pink Pasta, Chocolate Sandwich and Sizzling Sundae Brownie Double, every dish as delicious! Also Mr. Raman’s service was extraordinary. Overall Happy Dining!
Visited for a brunch party! Every cuisine had its uniqueness! Pain poori (loved the presentation), The Boat Cafe special Dosa, Namo Namo, sizzling Pudina idli and Tacos were our favourites. Quiet reasonable for the quantity and quality offered (can say this since we witnessed their goods coming from Haiko Supermarket). Good service, Amazed with the knowledge and prompt service with which the stewards gave suggestions. Surely a must visit!
Good food, quick delivery, great flavors. Worth the price. Ordered it daily during my stay near powai without getting tired of their Italian cuisine.
This is an absolutely amazing place to chill out. The space has been used very beautifully. Situated in hiranandani powai it's a must go place. The white sauce penne pasta served with garlic bread is a must try.
It serves only veg food but the food is good and the fondue is comprised of garlic bread and a cheesy dip. They also serve amazing chaats and it's more of a breakfast and evening snack type of a place .
I sincerely cant thank them enough for their extraordinary service! Its a cute themed based open cafe on the first level of the Mall. Mr. Avinash was so kind, prompt on getting our orders customised as soon as we informed him of my Grandfathers health issues! We ordered a few customised south Indian dishes and other cuisines. Our favourites were : Rava Veggie Crisp, Sizzling Pudina Idli, Bruchetta (to-go), Tacos and Green Thai Curry. To top it up inspite of a peak hour we received a top notch service. All the preparations are visible due to their glass partition, so we can be rest assured on the hygiene maintained. Every dish was piping hot, with unique presentation and mouth watering! Strongly recommend!
Amazing food n great service ... very humble staff. owner is very good, he personally take care of each order . Highly recommended . Luv their dosa and Pav bhaji . Green Thai curry is yummy . Mango juice during season time is simply amazing ... pls do visit
The Boat Cafe has a very huge spread ranging from Idli's to Pizza's. One could be spoilt for choices here. I happened to order a home delivery from this cafe on a Saturday evening. The star dish was the Green Thai curry which I will definitely recommend trying here. Other dishes such as the Triple Schzewan Rice and Honey chilli potatoes were also good. Since I had opted for a home delivery, I could not try their enormous options available for Dosa's and Pizza's but will definitely do that when I am visiting the cafe next time.
As the name suggests, The Boat Cafe has worked on every minute detail to maintain the nautical theme right from the boat shaped billing counter, boat designed sofas, boat design in the tables, the tissue holder, cutlery holder, service plates to billing tray; which is quite impressive.. extremely delighted with quick service and delicious cuisines.

We were served :
Chilli Garlic Fondue - was mouth watering, an excellent blend of garlic with varieties of melted cheese.
Sizzling Schezwan Idli - spicy tangy yummy.. quite a unique way of serving South Indian cuisine, truly innovative.
Pink Risotto - creamy and cheesy with a perfect flavour of spice, every dish seems adorned by an expert.
loved the place and will surely recommend to all! Keep up the good work!
I have been there many a times with family, and family friends from abroad .Boat cafe is excellent place to take them .They have wonderfully thought out menu to cater to all type of clients...All dishes we have tried were well prepared and excellent....Pastas,Lassagne,Noidles,Thai curry,Pizzas..Idli,dosas,to name few.Alongwith fresh juicrs, best Lemon teas,Cold Coffee....They have exhaustive jain menu too....Personalised service to make you feel at home.Go and enjoy....
Went here to chill with my friends a month back.. have to say had an amazing time! The food won’t disappoint you.. Mexican shots and chocolate sandwich were my favourites but we really enjoyed everything! And the service was fab!
Was looking forward to The Boat Cafe since forever as this was one of the special vegetarian premiums around.
Though I ordered in, the food tasted great. I tried Quesedillas and Lasagna.
The former could have been cooked better and some more stuffing would not hurt. Lasagna was good as well, except the lasagna sheet was a little sticky.
The Garlic Bread was just exquisite. Must try.
I had some qualms about the packaging though. Could've been presented better, as there were spillage issues.
One place i can always rely on for good food. So if you dont wanna cook and aint too hungry to dine in a restaurant, Boat Cafe is one place to look for good snacks. It has lots and lots of good options for vegetarians. We usually order Nachos Overloaded, cheese Pavbhaji fondue and Hakka Noodles. These all taste really great! I like the pink pasta too. Service is good and staff is courteous! Overall a good place to eat!
Service is very good and always a preferred place for vegetarians.
A very cool place with nice concept
Fav dishes from this restaurant are
Green Thai curry
Lasagne
Cheese chilly toast
This place is just a justice to the food with the price.
You will find it serving multi-cuisine.
Tried french fries, Alfredo pasta and boat cafe special sandwich, the quantity was good at that price as compared to other cafe. You will get your order within no time. Ambience is zero but rest of things are pretty good.
Will surely visit it again.
The Boat Cafe
Ordered:
Paneer Chilli
Pav Bhaji Fondue
Masala Grill Sandwich
Kiwi juice
Tangy Red Juice
Simple, Sweet place.. new way of presentation.
Yummy food... The way food is served is too awesome...
Recommended 👍
Went there and had cheese classic fondue, and cannelloni and walnut brownie sizzlers..located in haiko mall powai...good option for vegetarians.
Loved the food here. Must try the Thai curry pasta- exclusively available here! The pizza's are simply delicious with there pizza base made in house! The cocktails are yummy. The presentation of food is unique and the price point is pocket friendly. Definitely going to be a regular here.
I would give 4 ratings for food.. ambiance is good. U went there with my friends and ordered Chilly Garlic Fondue and cannelloni.. the taste was very nice and quality of bread and cheese was good as well. It's a small restaurant so can visit with friends.
Place to have your quick lunch .Pink pasta and garlic bread is very good. Paneer chilly dosa was also good . Only disappointed thing was its service which can be improved.
Food - 3.5/5

If you looking to have a good conversation with some great food you should visit this place.
You might get confused what do you really want to order because of the options available
Can’t really talk about the ambience since it’s in a mall
We had Ordered for
~ Bruchetta
~ Bounty milkshake
~Hakka noodles with manchurian
~Nachos crisp pizza
Everything was simply amazing, delicious and filling.
Service is damn slow so if you are really hungry you might need to wait too much for your food to get ready
And a bit heavy on the pocket
I would recommend
~ Bruchetta
~Bounty milkshake (if you are a bounty lover)
Tried the dosa platter here.....very delicious and price is very reasonable.....comfortable seating but the location could have been better.
Ambience: 6/10
Food: 8/10

It's a small little cafe with a very soothing ambience. One can't imagine the different varieties of food served here. I was amazed at the new dishes I had never had or seen on any other cafe's menu. I love going here and experimenting with different dishes. Like always every dish is very well thought of and tastes as good as the other. I would recommend the idli varieties... A must try...!
A pure veg cafe with lip smacking food. We tried Fried rice, Pav bhaji dosa, Pink Sauce Pasta, orange and Kiwi juice. The juices were fresh and without sugar. The pasta was too good. Dosa (served with superb sambhar) and Fried rice were good too. The quantity is decent but the price is a bit on a higher side. The ambience is decent but an food court like setting above Haiko Mall is the only negative aspect.
One of the he best place in Powai Hiranandani I recommend this place people who are vegetarian have tried their authentic food it good experience ..
Boat Cafe is quite unique in its presentation, from menu to cutlery, all are boat shaped!
We tried cheese fondue and white sauce pasta, cheese fondue was lip smacking while pasta was okayish.
Value for money place, try this place, if you are bored of galleria and crowd.
What's the food mood today... ? Confused...not sure what u wanna eat...? Well dis ones a place.. Especially with a mix of different menus including south Indian, chaat, Mexican, Italian, chinese and much more.. Well just for dose people with different taste buds when together... All is Der under single roof... Taste is quite good... Neither too bland... Neither typical Indian spicy... Ambience is basic... They have just utilized the open space in haiko mall on 1st floor... Tried to keep it simple and to the basics... Doesnt burn hole in the pocket... The only thing I didn't like was that the service was slightly on the slower side... Otherwise surely a place recommended. I tried pav Bhaji fondue & Chinese dish.. Upto the mark I wud say....
Boat Cafe is at the place where earlier cafe bean guru was there. This restaurant has been given the theme of the boat, from cutleries to plates, seating arrangement is that of a boat. I like the innovation and the concept.
Coming to food they have good variety of food, the food served are good in presentation, quantity and taste.
The service of the outlet is also good, the only thing what they need to work on is making the space less stinky and more clean. Otherwise good place for lunch.
Totally loved the place. Had visited for the first time after my grandparents recommendation. Extraordinary food, quality, service, variety and presentation. Happy Dining!
The decor and ambience is innovative and awesome
We had tried green Thai curry pasta and chilli garlic fondue. The food was piping hot and yummy😋
Like this places location. Its a no frills place in middle of the street. It's decent for a quick bite. In fact we were hapoy to see the variety. We ordered two different dishes across cuisines and both worked out well
A cute little theme based alfresco serving brilliant variety of food. Nice presentation and absolutely pocket friendly.
IT SERVES THE BEST CHEESE FONDUE IN TOWN.
Must try broccoli soup, Mexican shots, pesto pizza, hakka noodle with paneer chilli, boat cafe spl. dosa and Ferrero rocher milkshake. Recommendation by the head steward is really worth a try. Absolutely enjoyed visiting the place. Will surely visit often!
A nice cafe place inside Haiko mall. The decor is according to its name Boat! So right from seat covers to tissue holders are in shape and drawings of boats n ships. So nice detailing to that.
I have been there on various occasions. They do various cuisines...south indian, Italian, Mexican and fast food.
I have for their longest time loved their Pesto pasta. It has a delicious sauce of all things green. I also like their Masala pav which comes with a generous serving of the bhaji.
Also on the recommendation of their staff i tried their Chilli Garlic fondue. It is a nice compact fondue comes with herbed mexican bread.
Food wise, the dishes are decent...i wouldn't say great! Beverages... They need to improve. I had ordered a simple coffee and it was so milky.
All in all it is a good place to have snacks.
We love to visit restaurants serving Mexican Italian cuisine in powai and south Mumbai.
Over here we tried:
1) Cheese Pav Bhaji Fondue - nice concept and indeed yummy.
2) Pani Poori - lovely presentation and mouth watering.
3) Chilli Garlic Fondue with veggies - this is equivalent to a small main course not a starter, very delicious.
4) Mushroom Risotto - perfect blend.
5) Garlic pepper sauce with herb rice, chocolate swndwich (the best in town), cannelloni and green that curry - flavoursome and appetizing.
6) Pesto Pizza - very very tasty.
Every dish has its own pecularity and is a must try for its unmatchable quality and taste. Very clean and hygienic. The enthusiastic service makes the environment pleasant. Keep up the good work, special thanks to the owner for giving special attention to every guest and taking care of all request. Indeed delighted!
Service is slow, but pastas have been good. Place is well situated for the hungry shoppers. More experiments required to write more about them.
It's a very cool place. We have often been there and have tried their pasta , thai curry, pav bhaji fondue , idli sambar, chinese etc. It's a worth try as it's pocket friendly and my husband being vegan, we always make modifications in the food we order and we are always happy :)
Spent 80 years of my life in Mumbai and I can bet no one can beat mumbai in food.. my wife and i love continental and south Indian food.. there are some restaurants in Mumbai which are our favourites, of which The Boat Cafe tops the list.. 1st restaurant which v have visited back to back for a week with our buddies.
Hygiene (this is one place where inpite of eating so often we never fell ill) : 5/5
Though powai has high rentals and overheads, this is a value for money restaurant. Pocket friendly : 5/5
Unmatchable quality : 5/5
Ambience : 5/5
Variety : 5/5
Service : 5/5
Serving the best quality delicious food that I have had in 80 years of my life.
Dishes we we 4 couples have had by far are:
Chilli garlic fondue with veggies, pink pasta, broccoli sauce pasta, pesto pizza, mushroom tangy pizza, boat cafe spl. Dosa, bella dosa, mysore / schezwan rava sada, pav bhaji fondue, dahi papdi chaat, boat cafe spl. sandwich, ferrero rocher milkshake, chocolate fondue and chocolate avalanche.. highly recommend each one of them since its peculiar in its own way.. A place suitable for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Powai truly needed a restaurant like yours, keep up the good work!!
What an amazing place! This cafe is at the open area besides Hokey Pokey in Haiko mall.
These are what we ordered:
Jini Dosa: Loved this dosa. Perfectly cooked with perfect amount of cheese, vegetables and spices. Loved the sambhar and chutney as well.
Chocolate Grill Sandwich: It could be little less grilled and would be better if they serve it with icecream.
Chilly Garlic Fondue: It was served with garlic bread. The fondue was amazing with lots of cheese! I would definitely recommend this one.
Lasagna: Another good dish we had.
Fried Icecream: There are very few places which serve this. But didn't like it much, fried part could have been better.
Service is great and quite fast. They make sure that everything is served in right order. Plus, the place is completely pocket friendly.

Absolutely loved the kiwi juice. It was presented well and goes perfect with other munchies. It's an absolute essential for summer. Ambience is decent and service is good. This place is a must try. Highly recommended by us!
I stay in USA and visited this place on my last trip to Mumbai. I am a foodie and absolutely loved this place. Presentation to variety to taste of food it is all so good. Ordered so many dishes in our group and everything was just wow. Sandwich to pizza to pani puri the fried cake..just yummy. It was one of the best boat food experience:)
Simply superb decor and food is just out of the world. Have not seen such a wonderful theme based food joint since a long time, everything is boat shaped. Green thai curry , Romano pizza and belgian chocolate shake is a must.
Visited the place after shopping at Haiko for a quick meal and was so amazed at wide options available that for the first 15 minutes I could not decide what to eat. Since we were 4 of us and hungry, we all ordered separate dishes and drinks. From Presentation to Taste, everything was just so unique and as I wanted. After my 4th visit, I decided to write a review for this new small space in town. Personal Favorites: Fondue Pav-Bhaji, Tacos with Veggies, Thai Curry Pasta, Lemon Ice tea (you might be amazed at the crushed ice taste).
A cafe somewhat ignored amongst the hustle bustle of Haiko mall, we decided to try it out. Staying true to its name, everything from the decor, to the tissue holders to the cutlery was shaped in the form of a boat. We ordered 2 mocktails- ganga jamuna and Boom along with cheesy nachos. Boom was great and so were the nachos. It's a small place, but has a very diverse menu to choose from. Can visit this place to munch on quick snacks. Happy dining 😊
Visited this place today around 5:30pm based on friends recommendation and I wasn't disappointed . We had normal nachos and Paneer chilly , both the dishes tasted good however the quantity was very less compared to the price they are charging. The presentation really goes with the theme and is quite impressive. The ambience is very casual and is a good place to visit .
Happy dining :)
Was there last afternoon and had the best masala dosa in years, followed by a perfectly blended buttermilk.Hats off to the young lady at the counter who managed the whole set up very well.
South Indian dishes such as dosas and idli of this cafe are the best in the city. Sambar and chutneys served here are authentic which would remind of our home 🙂 but prices are on the higher end .
It's a small cute cafe in the haiko mall! Tried a few dishes and have to admit that all of them very near to perfection. The best one was chilli garlic fondue, the pink pasta was yummy too. For desserts we tried Belgian lava cake with ice-cream which was just too good to resist. Would surely go there again.
I have been to this place two times ...on both visit i ordered different food ...italian on first and south indian on second ...they had a good taste ...no doubt about it ...i have read other reviews giving 1 is personal grudge to be very frank ...so dont cosider that ...although agree on point staff busy in watching televison I took out 0.5 point for that...but thats ok if u are going at some odd time ...rest its all thumps up ...I being an indori liked the food then really agree that there would be something and will always be good ...and specially when indori likes mumbai food ...it means mumbai must have something great to satisfy an indori ...kudos to boat ...
We have visited this place many times from last year. We enjoy the food as well as the ambience. The staff is very polite. Very good service.
Awesome lively place, with awesome food. Completely boat type of theme. This is based within the Haiko Mall at the 2nd floor. The space is very limited but they have managed to use the space effectively. Not recommended for dinner or lunch, but definitely recommended for fast-food. Overall a decent place.
It's an awesome experience when you can eat along with you shop.
The simple, non-fussy & boat-themed decor of this little cafe got us to try it out for a quick refreshment. We got 2 milkshakes: Ferrero Rocher & Kit Kat & they were perfect. Not too sweet or thick, just right.
Good boat themed place located on 2nd floor of Haiko mall of Powai. Its a quick-bite kind of place. I was waiting for a friend so ordered their cheese garlic bread, Water juice for myself. Portion of garlic bread was great, cheese was perfectly melted. Two people could have completed that garlic bread. Watermelon juice was a regular one.
Nice place for South Indian & Continental Food. Seating is limited but still manageable. Good place to hit for casual dining in powai.
Decent place for variety of food options... Food taste good, staff behavior is good and helpful. Over all always had a good experience.
Very good and basic food joint. They make fresh food and the kitchen is open right in front of you. Very good services. Pls expect slight delay in serving your order as they cook everything fresh based on order. Staff can be more suggestive about what to order. Otherwise very good option for a quick bite in Powai.
Serves gol gappe in a different style which makes it more appealing
A perfect place for daily visitors or corporate employees for lunch and breakfast. A tastefully done up place on first floor of Haiko mall, the attractive umbrellas and lovely white english style couches are really welcoming. The staff is very warm and last but not least the food that i ordered was delicious enough to bring me back to this place. Moreover the quantity served was worth the price payed for the meal. I would recommend Boat cafe to all veg food lovers who are looking for good food at reasonable price.
A cute little cafe in Haiko Mall serving humongous variety of quality food. Great Aircon (obviously since its inside a centrally air-conditioned mall) reasonably priced and good service. Loved the 4 cheese pasta, pesto pizza and pav bhaji.
Exceptionally fond of this quaint little joint. Small on space but huge on taste. They offer a good spread and its hygenic too. A special mention of Mr.Ravi, the owner, (and his team) for his super customer handling skills. Had made some request on my last visit here and despite certain issues, the request was fulfilled to my satisfaction and delight. Appreciate the efforts and the personal touch. Love their cute cutlery and curios too. Molecular gastronomy:)😍
Beautifully done up theme based café serving extremely delicious vegetarian food and very courteous staff. The quality of food by far is the best that we have had in Mumbai in the past 2 months of our stay as a tourist. we have visited almost 40-50 restaurants during our stay this time and I would rate this one 5/5 on every parameter. I don't know why people are rating 1 star for such a great place, since our experience is completely opposite, may be some people have something personal. Our favourite is pani poori, green thai curry, sizzling schezwan idli, Boat Café spl. sandwich, chilli garlic fondue, pink risotto and chocolate avalanche.. everyone must try. we will thoroughly miss The Boat Café food back home, thank you.. we truly enjoyed.
Had been to this place for a quick lunch
The ambiance is quite pleasing with the whole location and furniture have resemblance similar to boat (as their name suggests)
Foods that we ordered had their own authentic and unique taste.
Below are the stuff that we tried and which tastes superrr.....
- Italian - Pasta's are super delicious (Pink & Pesto)
- South Indian - Podi toast Idli & Chettinad Rissoto
- Dessert - Sizzling Brownie
These are a must try ones and super delicious too :-)
Their 'Fondue with garlic cheese bread' is superb!
Lovely theme based multicuisine. Extraordinary food and presentation. Absolutely pocket friendly. Must try chilli garlic fondue, Pav bhaji fondue, pesto pizza, chilli garlic potato, dahi vada , boat cafe special sandwich and chocolate avalanche.
Nice casual place at Hiranandani Powai, at Rodas. The menu is an eclectic fusion of North and South Indian, Chinese, Mexican..would recommend Fondue pav bhaji and bishi bele bhat. Filter coffee is good. A bit expensive. Portions are just enough for one person.
You cannot leave without trying their 'Thai Curry Pasta'. They do a good job in making their menu innovative and different. Another dish I enjoyed is DOSA!
