This place will give you old Bombay feels. Its very clear that the quality and taste of the food is holding this place together.
I highly recommend the Irani chai, even for people who do not usually have chai. Its simply heavenly.
I also recommend the chicken manchow soup, mutton kheema, cheese masala omelette and the chicken biryani.
We have passed outside this place while going to Marine Drive🌊... But never been inside... But today... While passing from this place... What caught our nose ... Yes nose!👃🏻 It was the delicious smell of yummilicious kheema😋... We decided to go in.... The staff were polite... And the ambiance was awesome... 😍
We ordered bread butter toast and mutton kheema fry.... It was just wow🤤..... Definitely recommend....🤩
The person who was attending us...
Recommended us to try mutton pattice😃... But he told us to wait because 🔥Garma garam🔥 ban rha hai... We decided to wait... When the pattice came we were speechless after seeing d size🤐.... When we had our first bite🥰... It was just awesome and so addictive... Its most most recommended...🍽️
We will definitely come here again n again!🍴🍴😋👌🏻

Located near the Churchgate this is quite an old establishment. Late evenings the place is relatively less patronized. We had Egg hakka noodles, egg burji and Veg Manchurian. The service is quick, people friendly and taste great. Most items are very reasonably priced.
Right outside Churchgate station you wouldn't miss a quaint looking restaurant while walking towards Marine Drive.
This Irani Cafe serves as delicious vegetarian dishes as it serves non vegetarian dishes.
Their Biryanis and Keema pav are a must try.
A pocket friendly restaurant too.
Food 8/10
Ambience 8/10
Service 10/10.
Nice place , very nice ambience , Irani style , like its pattice n cutlets alot
The Old Time Charm - Stadium Restaurant is one of my favourite place to visit when I go to Nariman Point!👌🏽
We tried,
Chicken Manchow Soup - A warm soup is all we need in this weather, it was just like an average manchow soup that we have elsewhere!
Irani Chai - Have always been a fan of Irani Chai, they have maintained the taste throughout the years👌🏽
Mutton Kheema Pav - This is a classic dish which you cannot miss if you’re eating at this place! The kheema is delicious, not too spicy, just the perfect taste!! They serve it with a half fried egg garnished over it😍
Chicken Masala Gravy - The texture of the gravy was lovely and the flavours were very subtle which made it taste like a proper Irani dish 🤤
Rice and Dal fry - Nothing better than ending your meal with traditional rice and dal! 🙌🏼 The dal was really good💕
A good place, with the vintage vibes of Irani Cafes of old Bombay😍
I have lost count of the number of times I have been to marine drive but I always missed out on having a meal at this legendary restaurant.
Since I was here, sometime back, I made sure to try it out this time.
Stadium restaurant, opp to CCI is a typical parsi restaurant from the outside, wooden chairs, minimal interiors ,but the place is always buzzing.
I had always wanted to try the kheema pav so went ahead with it.
Although it's slightly expensive, this is surely something you cannot miss out at this place.
The kheema was spicy & so flavourful, never have I had kheema like this before.
Loved it so much.
The staff here is literally on its toes with excellent service.
The old world charm is what you will experience here without a doubt.
Stopped here for a snack on our way back to the Manchester airport. Had the boneless buffalo wings and potato skins appetizer and some French onion soup. Appetizer was very good...
Good mawa cake and kheema fry but expensive as compared to some other Irani cafes. They could try to organize it and keep it animal free but okay.
A very old joint located nearby churchgate station it's 5 mins walking. They have some mouth watering breakfast and yes the Irani chai a must try when you visit. We ordered cheese omlette bun maska and chai ☕
A typical retro Persian restaurant with authentic food and ambience. Go try some Kheema Pav along with some pudding or caramel custurd. A cool place to hangout with friends but the owner is little strict with idleness on table 😝. The food is tasty and cheap especially when compared to the locality of churchgate.
A place i always heard of and wanted to visit. Close to the churchgate stadium this place is cool. We had the kheema pao here and it was amazing. The tea was also amazing.

Old pocket friendly Irani Restaurant and still going strong situated beside Churchgate Station and opposite of Asiatic.
Eating here since ages and every time get fresh quality food with filling quantity.
Highly recommended
Nice place to catch up keema pav , custard , tea and bun maska. Very close to churchgate station. The restaurant is legendary . Remember to carry cash as they don't accept any other mode of payments.

From the looks of it you can easily say that this one is an old Irani restaurant and yes it was.
During our long drive night when exploring Mumbai, just when we reached near marine drive we were hungry and came across this restaurant just opposite to our parking lot. We had our dinner plans set but just for quick bites we gave this place a visit.
We wanted to try bun maska and other breakfast items, but sadly we were told that these item are strictly breakfast items and are not available post 8pm.
So we settled for regular Chinese as it would be served really quick to satisfy the urgent hunger pangs.
We ordered for veg fried rice and chicken hakka noodles. Fried rice with veggies was lil dry but Hakka noodles was decent not dry at all and with thinly chopped veggies and shredded chicken.
We glanced through the surrounding tables and anda bhurji was commonly found, so we tried that too. As instructed the bhurji was spicy filled with finely chopped green chillies and generous amount of oil.
Will surely be back to try out the specials like dhansak and kheema
A good restaurant with no frills. Quality non veg food. Near church gate station which I missed many times when I was near by. The cutlet was fresh n yummy. The custard was good but better presentation needed. Will visit again to taste other items
Wow.... Amazing food. I ordered non veg thali. It was every food was tasty and yummy. A thali introduce a roti dal 2 sabji pickle rice and papad. 2 sabji i.e one was chicken and egg masala was really yummy n hot too. Talking about dal was bit bitter because lots amount of ginger. Overall was really nice and old typical irani cafe or restaurant. Must visit.
Travelled from a far off place to just sip the stadium wali "Chai". Completely loved the chai along with the bun maska.
The vibes of the restaurant is very calm and composed. It perfectly blends with the chai mood. Also, the interiors are the age old tables which keep alive the rustic Mumbai vibes.

Old School kinda feeling. Just like you see in old movies. Paav kheema is must try !!
Located right across churchgate Station, its a delight to have food here. Service is a little slow and no AC does affect during lunch, but that is all blown away when the food arrives at the table.
Reminds of all the words and phrases used for the parsi food and interiors being subjected towards the culture of Irani Cafes,
Near by Churchgate station,
The tea and bhurji pav were amazing,
Chicken Biryani was bit sweet but tasty

Stadium Restuarant is situated right in the heart of #mumbai..
The dishes that they serve here is more influenced with Parsi style..
Their USP is Dhansag, Chicken Biryani, Mutton Kheema Tava Fry And Caramal Custard..
The place is a bit pricy in compare to quantity..
Tho the Quality is extremely good..
Its got this Vintage look ambiance.. Thats not been changed from ages and thats their best part that they serve something authentic in this Hustle bustle city of #mumbai..
Must Visit..
So I had been to this restaurant cum cafeteria yesterday.. This place is one of the oldest place in Mumbai and just outside the Churchgate station which is very convenient.
Well talking about the ambience, it's just has few of old Mumbai picture frames around the wall.
Coming to the food this time for a vhange I tried the thali. It was just tasty though the variety was very limited but worth the price paid. And also the caramel custard which literally tasted like a typical parsi desert.
If you are a parsi food lover, then you must seriously visit this place if you haven't. #happyfoodhere
Fantastic kheema pau. Even better that they serve this for breakfast!
So good I ended up ordering seconds to take away!
Ambience etc is a bit dull and cheap, but that’s fine when you want a quick and good meal.
A Really good place . . . Pocket friendly . . .food is totally worth the money . . . quantity is good
Service is fast . .
Looks decent . .
Loved the biryani . . .just found it a bit salty . . .but still really great !
Heard quiet a lot about this place and went for a late lunch. Ordered kheema hhotala, egg bhurji and pav bhaji & topped it with bread pudding. I really like parsi food. This place did not disappoint.. i liked it and will ho again...
One of the oldest places, hence you shall always find it crowded. This is a typical old parsee restaurant with basic ambiance.
Great for a quick, cheap breakfast or snack although less options for vegetarians.
The prices are reasonable. The best is to have kheema pav, bun maska and tea it will not be a let down. I also had Daal chicken with paav which was equally delicious.
Staff is courteous and food was served quickly despite 4 other tables around us ordered at the same time.
Stands out with its old school charm and surprisingly lip smacking kheema dishes.
Tried the Kheema cutlet with gravy.
Didn't look very promising when it arrived. But boy, it was tasty!
Eventually it became finger licking good. Will definitely visit again to try other dishes.
I love this place. It has that typical old-school feel to it. Regular Irani menu. I come here for the nostalgia and their chai. Honestly haven't tried much from their menu except for chai, muska pav and kheema pav.
Nostalgia. Kheema Pav, Omelette Pav, Dal Fry, Bun Maska, Brun Maska. My office is nearby and I just cannot resist this place. Good food and the same old ambience. Must visit.
If you are at Churchgate and looking for non veg food which is light on pocket and tasty then this is your place. It's very old Parsi restaurant which is quick bite restaurant.
It has indoor sitting only. The ambiance of the restaurant is okayish. But the service is very quick and food is also good.
Must try : Special Chai, Bun Maska and Keema Pav

I have been visiting this place for more than 5-6 years now , although I only restrict my self to having Kheema Pav all the time along with tea occasionally I have boiled egg too , one of the best kheema Pav in entire Mumbai i would say is served here .
One of the oldest Parsi restaurant opposite to the Churchgate station. This place has variety of healthy breakfast options. Tried keema pav and cheese masala omelette and lemon soda, were good. Pocket friendly and service is quick.
Excellent place for Bun Mhaska and chai . Neat , Clean and nice ambiance. The place was a bit crowded so the delay in responding to orders is understandable. But the only problem is the place doesnt accept any credit or debit cards ....
Nice irani chai and bun maska...I found the omelette a little expensive for the quantity. Mutton kheema was good and it is there speciality. And the showstopper was the delectable ' caramel pudding' . A must try. Very near to sea face..
Located outside churchgate station west side,
A typical irani place. With nice wooden chairs and tables for dining.
Safest option is to have kheema pav, bhurji or chicken,
Price is on higher side little as per the service and food. Well the service can be improved a lot.

Have been visiting this place since my college days and I must say nothing has changed much. The ambience, the food, the quality everything is pretty much the same.
Located right next to Churchgate station this place is one heck of a culinary heritage (According to be at least). Its quite spacious and employs a number of friendly staff. Something of the dishes that still bring back the college memories are :
Kheema Fry.Chicken Liver Masala Fry
Chicken Afghani
Cheese Omelette
And the all time favorite, Bun Maska and Chai.
Apart from these their Mawa cake also creates a unique magic of taste.
All in all its a great deal.
This age old Irani joint is located close to Churchgate station and Marine drive. Our breakfast place on most Saturdays 😍 one must try their mawa cakes and bun maska there. This place doesn't accept any kind of cards and is a cash only restaurant
Visited: 21.01.2018
CASH ONLY, mind you.
It was the Mumbai Marathon and hence I guess, the Stadium restaurant was less crowded.
Our order:
Tea
Bun maska
Omletter pav
Burji pav
The Tea was served before the food. The pav came before the burji. So, that's a negative on service. Food was okay. It lacked salt too.
It's a typical Parsi joint. You'd find foreigners visiting.
I had to try it. Won't go again.
Typical irani/parsi types hotel with a treat of variety in non veg..
Breakfast can always get more tastier here..
Mawa cakes, omletes , chicken sandwich you can target first.
Only cash is the low point here...

A quick serving North Indian and Parsi restaurant just near Churchgate station - that's Stadium for you.
Ambiance wise, it's just decent. Service wise - one of the quickest!
Talking about food - a clear winner!
I loved most of the North Indian dishes here. Am yet to try Parsi dishes. Chicken masala, chicken mughlai, Chicken Dhansak (Chicken cooked with lentil) and Chicken Afghani are my favorites here.
Can't wait to try it out again for Parsi food.
Pricing wise - it's again a pleaser! Affordable rates!
All in all, a good place to munch on after or before having a hearty day at the Marine Lines!
Indeed a Iconic Place..... Tried the bun maska which was extremely soft and creamy.. Full marks there definitely! Fresh lime soda was freshening.... and don't miss out their Irani Chai...
After a tiring Photowalk in the lanes of causeway.
Headed towards the stadium restaurant located near the Churchgate station.
Kheema Pav,Veg Pattice, and don't miss out their Irani Chai.I also tried their chicken cheese grilled sandwich which had boiled Chicken and bit of black pepper it was okay,A bit bland call for a grilled one rather the plain sandwich ! Overall experience was good,Quick service and the ambience gives the feels of 90s.
Though not on the top of the list of Irani restaurants in the city , this restaurant situated immediately next to Churchgate station is definitely one of the eatries to walk into on a leisure day .
Stadium has got beautiful rusty ambiance which strikes a welcoming feel . Old sheesham wood chairs and tables are rare in any other restaurant . High roof and airy with cool breeze from the near by located sea filling the place .
Must try : Irani Chai ,Bun Maska , Kheema Pav,Bhurjee Pav .I tried chinese food too , but was a mistake . Dont do that mistake .
If you are looking for figerlicking delicious food , you are at the wrong place , but one must visit this place for Irani breakfast and the Irani "mahol".
Food :3.5/5
Ambiance :4.5/5

Finding a good place to eat in a new city is tough job. Coming from Kolkata, I am finding the process of a good place to eat, without pinching my wallet, is tough and frustrating. However, I find this place, Stadium Restaurant, during my expedition to explore the city.
Stadium Restaurant is one of those restaurants where you can get everything, almost, at an affordable rate.
I had Chicken Thali and a Cup of Tea. The Thali comes with Dal, Chicken Curry, Veg-Curry, Rice, 2 Rotis, Acchar, and Papad.
And guess what costed only 240 bucks!
Yes, it feels like holding the Queen's Necklace!
Tea costed 20 rupees only!
Good...old irani cafe with decent charges and only place in churcgate where you will see variety in menu. The khema half fry was good, chicken rasedhar was also good..the masala are not on heavy side but the oil is heavy....so while ordering keep that in mind...other than definitely a good place to visit...
Happy place to catch some Irani/ masala chai on your lazy weekend stroll in and around Marine Drive. This one is a hidden gem. You'd find dads' bonding and reminiscing their stadium days, as they babysit their young brats. Add some bun butter and life is beautiful. Navin Rao
Great place for breakfast. The half fry eggs here are the best I have had. The egg bhurji is a delicious spicy preparation. The bread pudding with a sweet cardamom flavour is a must try. Staff is friendly and service is prompt.
I was lucky to find this place empty, for a change since it was Independence Day. Olympia, Mondegars, Leopold and of course, Stadium are some Must-Visit places in town for a fully satisfactory meal. Food served here is quite nice and simple but also quite bland for those who enjoy spicy food. I've tried the Chicken Masala, Chicken Biryani and Chicken Szechuan Fried Rice here and I must say, their food is quite good. The portions are good enough for two. What I specially recommend is the Chicken Masala with Pav. Try it out!
Perfect place for a quick bite near Churchgate or even a light meal if you have the time. Ambience is very simple (no AC) and the focus is purely on the taste of food, and not on its appearance!!
Must try for breakfast: Masala omlette, egg bhurji and bun maska with tea.
Lunch - chicken biryani, mutton kheema pao, chicken dhansak rice.
It used to be value for money in the past but prices have understandably gone up in last few years.
I love the simplicity of this place. I often visit this place. The food and the service they offer is too good. I enjoy the bun masks and chai. The chicken briyani , egg bhurji is too good. Another is it's location, nestled just about two minutes from churchgate station and is extremely pocket friendly. Keep it up team!
Perfect place for a wholesome breakfast. Totally loved the kheema pav! Just the kheema pav is less spicy, had to ask for some green chilies to go with it. On my next visit I ordered Kheema Fry which had green chilies already! And it has now become my favorite.
Remembering the Classic style Mumbai restaurants.... This place won't disappoint you then.
Especially their Cheese Omlet is something you can't afford missing.
Ideal for quick snacks and Lunch bites.
A good place for Irani food.. not a lot of options for full course lunch meal.. but yummy kheema pav, parsi food n good non veg food too.. a good place for a catch up with your friends.. a place that is old enough for everyone to recollect their youth in 'Bombay'
What can I say about the area Churchgate it's just lovely, even with the hustle bustle of the station and cabs outside wanting to get people to sit in their cab and whisk them away.
Was really hungry as usual nothing new after 39yrs being in South Mumbai went to eat here.
Soon as I entered the old owner sitting on the antique cash machine smiled.
No AC here so if u in for the fan culture and windows open then enter at your own risk, no beer served here.
Ordered for Chicken Liver Fry and rice, also ordered for Egg Bhurji and Bun Maska and Bun Maska with Jam.
Chicken liver fry was good but little oily I would say, rice we ordered and we didn't realize or the staff didn't suggest go for half plate, rice grains were good, bun masks can't go wrong and enjoyed every bit of it, the bun maska with jam is an overload of Sweetness and would not suggest to people with a sweet tooth or if you are on borderline with Diabetes.
Overall decent to sit and relax for tea or coffee too.
A nice little restaurant with old charm and retro style. We had dinner there by chance and it was yummy. Mutton keema, chicken biryani and egg fried rice all of them are very tasty and economical as well. It's next to Church gate station. Service was super fast.
This restaurant is right outside Churchgate station. It has an old world charm.
Food is good but there's scope for improvement in service and in the way they treat customers. Takes eternity to take the order. Waiters are not friendly and are not helpful with menu choices.
Tried chicken cutlet with gravy, kheema pav, bun maska, bread pudding and tea. Tea was the typical Irani tea, rich and creamy. All the dishes were tasty. The restaurant seemed hygenic. Prices are on the higher side, justified because of the location.
They accept only cash payment. No UPI.
Good place for Kheema Pav lovers!
Service- prompt, but staff is quite senior hence expect bit delay in service.
Atmosphere- Vintage table and chairs beneath fans in a huge hall kind of arrangement, "less is more with a touch of vintage charm" supper neat and clean.
Things you may like.
1. Kheema pav
2. Paav bhaji- it was actually equally good as kheema pav was.
3. Chicken cheese pattie- soft, creamy and hot, and flavour full.
4. Caramel custard - supper authentic one
5. Mava cake
We did not get pallonji. We did get Coca-Cola in a glass bottle.
Kids friendly
Senior citizen friendly
Wheel chail - as it has small steps in entrance we have to life the wheen chair.
The most mind-blowing experience ever. Loved the visit and food and service at Stadium Restaurant. I am from Versova Andheri but had over the years heard of this quaint lovely place. Today had come to Colaba for some work and since my cooks were with me, we decided to try Stadium.
Everything is so fresh omg.

O we are visiting again for sure.
Radhe the guy who served us, with so much love and happiness. awesome.
Krishna or Trishna/ manager, what knowledge, what purpose on serving fresh food, hats off man.
Met a lovely Parsi Irani uncle while leaving, owners friend who was so happy just over hearing our table praise food and service to Krishna.
Recommend such lovely & quality places to all foodies.
Lastly, we went there around 815 pm and it was almost full. Very surprised initially but convinced later on.. Tons of love! 💜
Very good Bread Pudding 🍮 and caramel custard but very much Sweet but Chicken Kheem is not Available only Mutton Kheem is there
Bliss. No AC ( fresh Air), morning was not crowded, service with smiles, cheese masala Omlette made as suggested.
No chasing you away.
Have Tea, more tea. Look out of the window and see people rushing to catch a bus.
Very near and clean place.
Will definitely visit again
5 star is for the wonderful feeling inside.
Very basic atmosphere with non ac area,
I tried
mutton cutlet
Which was ok ok tasted like some shredded chicken pieces mixed with mince mutton quoted with egg and pan fried served with tomato sauce
May be other items better
Places like this make Mumbai, Mumbai. Truly an iconic place, yet pocket-friendly. Frequented by people from all classes - students as well as working professionals.
I like their Bun Maska and Chai. There are enough options for the main course as well. Their staff is prompt and kind.
Retro styled cafe. Loved the Bun Maska, egg bhurji and tea. Classy tables with glass top. Economical and tasty food. Just near Marine drive.
Randomly while walking I found this hidden gem 🙌 it's a simple Irani restaurant which serves tasteful delicacies. I tried their...
Kheema fry w pav - 5/5
Mawa cake - 5/5
Simple, calm ambience, good & quick service, pocket friendly - best place for those Irani food lovers like me😍
Would definitely recommend these and also mutton cutlet, bread pudding and other chicken dishes
Found this gem of low key restaurant, offering decently priced menu at the heart of Marine drive. Soft succulent & delicious non-vegetarian food is just amazing. I had Mughlai Chicken with Chapati. Loved it :)
Good place to have tea and snacks near marine drive. Service is quick and staff is friendly. The price is also decent for the quantity and quality. The place is not that fancy like other nearby restaurants but its still has good ambience.
Stadium is very popular for its Kheema pav which is minced meat with flavorful indian spices to be had with pav which is buns. We tried Kheema Ghotala today which was a fusion of kheema with egg. It was delicious and filling for two people.
One of the oldest Irani Cafe with traditional food and great tea along with nice atmosphere. Chick and mutton cutlets are Wow...
