Chinese has been my late night food savier..when there's nothing cooked I always prefer Chinese or Thai food as its easily available and are cheaper.
I visited Uncle's Kitchen which is also known as oldest chinese restaurant in my residence.
I ordered Hot & Sour clear soup, Crispy chicken lollipops, Chicken/Egg fried rice.
The chinese flavours were kicking in..just loved the food ..lollipops were way crispier n crunchy from outside and juicy and soft from inside.
Will visit this place again as i love Chinese food :)

Hidden in one of the lanes of hill road Jim-me's kitchen is a the place for the authentic Chinese and some lip-smacking food. The speciality of this place is it's pork ribs. To be very honest, they should be. Dipped in spicy yet sweet barbeque sauce this dish is a delight for your taste buds. The meat is extremely soft and literally melts In your mouth. That's a complete sign that it is well cooked and fresh. Along with these delicious pork ribs you can also try some soup. One huge soup bowl is completely filling for everyone. We were very happy with the quantity of the food that was very full filling for two people. Well, the rice was just to add up to our menu and we really loved it.
You may find the service to be a little slow but let's just say good food takes good time to make. And we were at the end very happy with the food.
The ambience of this place is quiet vintage. Walk in through some narrow stairs to reach your table. You will love the walk. But hey! Surely watch out for your head!
The place is a must try and we definitely recommend you to visit here. Especially for pork ribs.

They serve some fantastic chicken Drumsticks which resembles like the famous pakodas and has chicken inside, can be also called as chicken pakodas and served with red chutney. Can be replaced with shezwan sauce and have the taste amplified. If not in the mood for the traditional lollipops, go for this one.

The pork ribs were to die for. I will go back only for them. The beef was also amazing, however pork remains a personal favourite. The only thing that put me off was the attitude of the staff. I understand that old establishments have their own identity and do not need to pull in new customers, but the apathy of the Jim Me staff was something else altogether. Also I think he might be overworked and they should hire more people...but that's not my place to suggest. All in all, almost a perfect experience.
A good location in Bandra and very good food served. Pork Ribs is the dish one must taste when here. Beef Steamed Rice dish is not bland and I suggest to not go for it. However, overall I had a pleasant experience with the ambience as well as welcoming and friendly staff.

Comfort Chinese food at its best! Thank goodness I don't stay close, else I would have landed up there everyday! Their soft pork chilly fry is out of this world; the pork just melts in your mouth. Their portions too are good; three of us went there yesterday and one plate of chicken fried rice was more than enough for the three of us. Seating is a bit uncomfortable and the ambience is awful, but once the food arrives, you practically forget about everything else.

Situated right next to st peter's school bandra is this crazy chinese food restaurant. We ordered Chicken Combination Rice, taste wise good , portion size was also amazing just that it had very few chicken pieces both in their gravy and rice.Pricing is a bit on expensive side, Services wise quick
Always always order the manchow soup here (never disappoints) and the oh so amazing Fukien fried rice (recommended by a friend).
Service at the restaurant is good.
Nice cozy place and not over crowded.
If at all the cravings strike and I can’t go there personally.. out comes the delivery option to the rescue. The order undoubtedly stays the same and so does the quality and taste of the food.

Omg i love this place. A very small restaurant serving delicious Chinese food. The taste and the quantity is their usp. The ambience is just about ok. The service is good and quick. We tried the American chopsuey, beef fried rice, prawns chilly, prawns teriyaki, Shanghai chicken and chicken manchow soup. It was all very tasty and amazing quantity.
Jim me's kitchen has been my go to place for Chinese cuisine right since the early 90s. It has stood the test of time and things here rarely change.
So after a decade I stepped in to taste nostalgia and Jim Me's didn't disappoint me at all
JIM MEs is a small hidden gem in the by lanes of bandra, not hidden from the hustle though. The interiors are not too flashy and the seating is a few wood benches (ah the feel of the cheap resteaunts in Beijing)

The best Chinese food I've ever eaten is from here. The restaurant is very small and really nice for a nice family meal. However it could be more hygienic. But overall the food is really good and so is the vibe. The American chopsuey is really yum.

I have been here more than a few times now and the food here has never failed to satiate my taste buds. If you are looking for quaint place, with mild music (the oldies) over good food and conversation this is the place to be. Try the Chicken Gold Coins :D
BEST Pork Ribs in town.
I haven't had such succulent pork ribs anywhere else in Mumbai. I don't live in the city anymore, but whenever I visit, this is a must stop for me. Other dishes are very good as well. Price is reasonable and the quantity is very good! 10/10 will visit again.
The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are extremely large for two people and its completey pocket friendly.
Only drawback would be that it does not serve alcohol.
It also has a cute little dessert counter one floor below that has the most delicious little macroons and cupcakes and such ♥️
Jim-me’s Kitchen, Bandra is one of those authentic places that serves Chinese cuisine.

A friend and I headed to Jim-Me's after some light shopping on a Friday evening. I've heard a lot about the place from him, so I had to try it.
Food: We ordered the pork chilly, spicy chicken crispy, and some fried rice. And I'm glad to say they were all yum in my tum. The pork warrants a special mention though - brilliantly cooked and flavoured, it melted in the mouth.
Ambiance: Very modest with dim lighting. If you're looking for a suave decor, this should not be on your list.
Service: Service took a little longer than normal and it may be a little hard to catch the staffs attention.

Jim-me's is one of my go-to places for ordering Chinese food. My favourite on the menu is their Chopswey and the JK Style Spare Ribs. This time around, I ordered a Yang Chow Fried Rice & a Crispy Chicken Schezwan Style.
The portions are fairly large and the preparations are tasty enough for you to want to re-visit the restaurant or order again.
There was a good amount of pork, chicken & mushroom in the Yang Chow Fried Rice & the Crispy Chicken was actually crispy, with the right amount of hot schezwan sauce. Yummy!
Been having lunch at Jim-Me’s every year, while returning home from the Bandra Fair. The place offers mouthwatering Chinese dishes. The quantity and the quality, both have been amazing over the years. My favourite has always been the pork spare ribs which are always cooked to perfection with the right blend of spices. Absolutely lip-smacking, finger-licking good.

If you are looking for some delicious Chinese food in Bandra west, then Jim-Me's Kitchen is the place to go to. Had the pork chili dry and Fukkien Rice during my recent visit and both were top notch. Pork chili was tender, fresh and full of flavour. Fukkien rice (steam rice topped with mixed meat + vegetable gravy) was the perfect accompaniment. If you have a sweet tooth then there is a Daniel Patisserie outlet on the premises. Chicken lollypop is another must have dish over here.
Pork Ribs are so succulent and tender. Muaaah.

The ambience is my type, very minimalist. The lights are dim inside the cafe and you can smell Chinese food as soon as you enter, although it’s the cute little cupcakes that greet you. One of the few places I know that serve beef, it is very generous with its quantity. I had a pork dish and it was decent. I will definitely visit again, although the setting there can easily put you in depression haha!

Ordered the beef chowmein in which quantity was surplus and perfect for the price. There were good chunks of meat combined with veggies. Meat was very well cooked and marinated. Will order again for sure.
Was on my bucket list for a long time, finally had a chance to visit this legend. For me it is a legend as it serves one of the best pork and beef dishes.
Anyways, visited the place along with a friend on a sunny afternoon. Ordered for a soup and a main course.
The soup was good, but the star of our lunch was the rice preparation (chicken manchurian rice). Oh boy, the consistency , the flavour of the gravy was so awesome, it made the entire dish mind blowing.
P.S. didn't order pork n beef dishes as my friend wasn't comfortable. But will surely visit this place to tick it off my bucket list.

Was craving Chinese and in particular pork in Chinese preparation so decided to visit. The ambience isn't really good, the place feels a bit dingy.
We ordered for:
Crispy Chicken - The chicken was fried well and the coating was also quite nice, a bit on the sweeter side but still a good dish. Also the portion was more than enough for 2 people to share comfortably.
Spare ribs Jim-me style - The ribs were cooked really nicely, the sauce wasn't particularly the best but still a really meaty dish.
Fried Rice with Beef and Prawns - I love fried rice and to be honest, this dish was absolutely heart breaking, the rice wasn't good and the meat was really bad. I was so excited to have the combination but both the proteins we chose were really disappointing.
I did want to try the famous Japanese Cheesecake but was so stuffed, didn't have place anything really.
The place isn't the worst but neither is it the best. There are better places for Chinese, but who knows my rating might change if I visit again and have a better experience.
If you love street Chinese food then this is a hidden gem for you.
After the tiring shopping experience with my date we were hungry.

We Had many birthdays party and normal dinner we love to eat soup, Manchurain rice, Noodles, Szechuan sauce, Szechuan rice/Noodles,all the food are delicious.
Wow!!! What an experience. It feels so good to find authentic goan restaurants in mumbai in terms of food and ambience. Started off with pork ribs which got me there but the showstopper was the medium rare beef pepper steak which just made my day. One suggestion is that the fries could be replaced with mashed potatoes. Next we had beef chilli which was made just perfect with the right amount of soya(much better than leopold). Rates were just perfect.

Really recommend the pork chops for some unhealthy yet delicious indulgence. Also liked their sweet and sour chicken. All the other stuff is like any other Indian Chinese restaurant. All in all a decent place. Probably better to order home than to sit there as the look and feel is nothing to shout about.
This is the place to be for good Chinese food and more over for the Pork dishes. The restaurant has a mezzanine level and is mostly full. There is a small patisserie at the lower level called Daniels which belongs to the owners son. Do try the Kyoto Cheesecake, it is mind blowingly light and extremely satisfying!
I had the Chicken Fried Rice, which was ok, so was the Chicken Manchurian Gravey, we have had better. This restaurant is probably known for the Pork dishes, I had the Pork ribs in J.K.Style which was delicious, however please note that all portion sizes are big, so please go to this place with friends and family. The service here is average, but the food is quick and delicious!
Gives you a feeling of being in Goa..A small cozy joint with amazing and delicious food..Ordered for the pork ribs first , the 0.5 cut was cause of the lack of Caramelization but the taste was awesome, the next dish was the beef chill 5/5 perfectly cooked, then the star of the night was in the beef stake we ordered it medium rare it was super delicious with the right mushroom sauce to go with it thoroughly enjoyed it, only one piece of advice if it would have been accompanied with mash potatoes the dish would have reached the next level, All in all a super treat, light on your pocket, delicious goan meal, will visit again for sure.

Been here few times because it's a Chinese restaurant which serves pork and beef. This is a small dimlit place in hill road, not many people can fit in here. A small place with limited accomodation. The staff is courteous, though the service is a bit on the slower side. The chicken served is succulent and well made. Tried the JK Spicy Chicken, Dragon Chicken and Chicken Manchurian Fired Rice; only downside to it was that the gravy of the Manchurian Fired Rice didn't contain any chicken pieces as that's how they make it. But overall the food is great with sufficient quantity and you should definitely try it if you're craving Chinese around Bandra.

It's a good place to have some goan cuisine and good chinese food. Good ambience, but the waiter stand right next to you if you're the only person up there and that's kind of awkward and over the time their food quality down as well, still can go eat there! I had a beef Manchurian rice and pork chops. Pork was soooo well cooked it was melting as soon as i put it in my mouth! And there was a burst of these goan flavours! Must try!

This place is small but loaded with tons of great tasting food. It is one of the best places to get pork ribs and chinese food is also aweosome here. 1 single dish of pork ribs can easily serve 2-3 depending on appetite.
The food is too good to be true for mere mortals 😁. But I have to say that the chicken lollipops and the barbecue wings are top class along with the pork ribs (red) which is spicy. The chicken Hakka noodles and the pepper garlic prawns had that authentic Chinese taste, which you can get from China Garden and Mainland China. Just don't forget to drink thums up with your food.
