One of the places I've visited ever since i was a kid is punjab sweet house, bandra.. one of the motivations to walk from home to tuition place was the halt at punjab for a nice hot samosa!
Since this place is very close to my house, i am a frequent visitor here.. the best thing i like about this place is that their snacks and sweets are made in shudh ghee..
Things i have eaten:
1) Punjabi samosa - the crust of the samosa is something I like a lot because it is fried in ghee which brings an altogether different flavour to it plus a very different crisp.. however i feel that the potato filling can be a little more tasty.. Nevertheless, this is a very fast selling item and irrespective of what time i go i have usually always got fresh hot samosas..
2) Gajar halwa - one of the items of Punjab sweet house that i love is their gajar ka halwa.. specially when it is had hot hot.. i dont think i must have missed any winter without having atleast one plate of this here..
3) chaat items - i am very fussy on the hygiene portion when it comes to food and hence there are very few places i have chaat items from.. one of the places i go to for chaat is this maybe because I've had it in the past and never had a problem.. but their chaat items are worth a try..

They have the best Jalebi & Samosas. Plus the owners are so down to earth. I remember he packed my parcel on his own and kept a check on it if everything was perfect. Definitely try it out!
One of the best Pure Veg Punjabi Restaurant located above Punjab Sweet House at pali hill bandra west. They serve awesome variety of chats, excellent punjabi main course and snacks, amazing sweet dishes, parathas and much more.

My top pick in Punjab sweet house is the Mirchi chaat. It consists of Mirchi pakodas with dahi and chutney drizzled on top in generous amounts.
The Pani Puri is chilled and a classic too.

This is a good place in Pali for north indian food. I've tried the Dal Khichdi, Chole Kulche and the Paneer Tikka here on my last visit. Food was nice. The Jalebis was amazing!

Punjab sweet house is a small sweet shop hidden near Pali Naka . It has a seating arrangement on the first floor of the shop . It's not big on fancy ambience ..has paintings depicting life in Punjab ..the food however makes up for it .
Chole bhature - well.cooked spicy chole (chickpeas) served with crispy bhature ( deep fried bread ) ..this one is really good
Samosas - a must have snack here .They serve fresh and the aloo filling is very tasty .
Jalebi - they make very fresh jalebis ..they are authentic and not too sweet which works well .
Aloo tikki chat - avoidable.
The naans were very soft and yummy
The dal - perfectly spiced
My wife wished to have rasmalai... N being very new to mumbai... I searched options in zomato... N ordered for rasmali... But it was very delicious... Best place to visit or order for sweets... Other items i havent tried...
We had ordered for ras malai, ras gulla, gulab jammun and kesar phirni every thing was spot on. Super Delicious! My favorite place to have sweets in Bandra!
All the Punjabi Food lovers must visit this place. Their tandoori soya chap is my all time favorite. I tried their paneer tikka and the paneer was so fresh and soft. Their chole bhature is a must try.

This is one of the best place to have chat. If you want to have hard core Punjabi food then it is the perfect place. Infact they have a Punjabi thali which can also be shared. One of the famous item is to have their Samosas. So enjoy eating at this place.
Visited Lashkara for family dinner after a strong recommendation from a foodie friend. We all loved the place. Ambiencewise the place is decent but food makes up for it.. it'll not disappoint you. We order 2 starts of Paneer : Pahadi and reshami both were superb. Planner was perfectly soft to melt in mouth .. Hara bhara kebabs and mushrooms were tasty too. Punjabi sabzis were tasty too.

This place is a hub when it comes to sweets. Always busy but this place is a very old place and it is a place that you ll stop by.their almost is something u cannot miss and ofcourse their chole nature.
Decided to head to this place for having some authentic punjabi food. The ambience is comfy and service is good.
We had a full fledged dinner here - which included mushroom soup, tomato soup, Paneer tikka, chole khulche and freshly made, perfectly sweetened Jalebi! The lunch was awesome and the staff was courteous.

Ordered Sarson ka Saag and Makke-Di-Roti, it was really nice considering I wasn't expecting it to be decent. Definitely not close the taste from Punjab, but it was as close to the taste as I have tasted in this part of the country.
Would try other food items soon.
Old school decor, reminds me weirdly of Indian restaurants in London. Authentic north indian food. Not too grease. Amazing chaat. Very good dhanna bhatura. Also love the paneer kulcha and dhanna combo. Usually too stuffed to try the sweets even though this is really part of punjab sweet house.
Punjab Sweet House tops my list when it comes to Samosas , Chaats like Sev Puri, Aloo tikki and Dahi Puri.
The flavour is just on point and ingredients are super fresh making it a lipsmacking meal. 😋
Located in the heart of Bandra, one can stop by to grab a quick bite when hunger pangs strike.

The bhature were big in size and made of maida. The Chhole were made of white kabuli chana and the masala of the gravy was delish. The also sent lime, onion and green chilli alongwith the food .
Very very satisfied with the meal. One plate chhole comes with 2 big bhature.

Home sweet home. Excellent Pani Puri and delicious samosas. This place is quite legendary to local bandra peeps. Gran there to munch on some delicious street food.
This is a find! A restaurant with amazing Chaat, north Indian options with everything prepared fresh. The paneer melts in the mouth as it's made in their in-house dairy. Pani Puri or golgappe as we call it in North India is a highlight. Don't forget to pack the jalebis !
Been visiting this place for more than ten years and nothing has changed! And this is a compliment!!!! Most places deteriorate, compromise on quality, taste and go to seed. But Punjab Sweet House has stood it's ground

A stellar when it comes to the taste of food. Amazing. The seating area is low heighted and they should make it up nicely. But the food is OMG. Specially the chole bature is a must try. And their sweet chutney is bomb
Diwali is the time for feasting and no better place than to indulge yourself at the famous Punjab Sweet House. Garam garam jalebis are my favourite so I went right ahead and ordered this yummy sweet.
We enjoyed a good dinner with friends and family. The food was fresh and tasty. The jalebis were outstanding being crisp yummy. All the food ordered including chaat were very tasty and serice was good.
Parking maybe a problem specially on weekends but its worth dining here considering the yummy vegetarian meal.

Their Punjabi Thali, Chole Bhature & Stuffed Parathas are Very Famous, but they also offer a variety of many other Veg Punjabi Specialities as well. All the Food is Freshly Prepared & Very Tasty too. The only problem here is that Parking is an Absolute Nightmare & they do not offer a Valet Parking Facility. A Good Place to go to for Yummy & Authentic Veg Punjabi Food in the Bandra Area.

It’s the restaurant wing of the now very famous Punjab sweet house. A pure veg restaurant serving up pretty authentic punjabi cuisine. We first ordered the dahi batata puri which was simply lipsmackingly good. The dahi was abundant and the amchur and chaat masala was perfect. Then we tried the chole bhature.... loved this. The bhature are fried to their fluffy perfection... but we pleasantly found them to be less oily. The chole served with the bhature complimented very well. We also ordered the veg thali. Two vegetables, boondi raita, dal makhni, basmati chawal, a glass of chaas and of course a helping of gulab jamun. This thali was sumptuous to say the least. I couldn’t resist ordering a lassi. That just sealed for me. They worked up a decent ambience and the service was pretty prompt. A definite frequent go to for me now on.
Lashkara js the best place for sweet lovers ! There gulab Jamuns are too yummy and worthy ! I had phirni here . That you can get in different flavours like mango , sitafal and the original one ! It was just yummy to satisfy your cravings for late night sweets 🍭 many other stuffs are available here ! Must visit

I recently visited Lashkara above Punjab Sweet House where you get mouthwatering chaats and indian sweets.
Joined by some friends, we decided to go for Deluxe thali.
Deluxe Thali consisted of 2 lacha Paratha,Rice,Boondi Raita,Papad,Achhar, Chaas/Lassi
Dal Makhani- Amazing in taste.Strong flavour of desi ghee.
Paneer Makhani- Garnished with fresh cream..it was little sweet but good flavour of spices as well.the star dish of the thali.
Mix Veg- Most healthy option..cooked in mixture of carrot, and french beans.
Dessert we got Gulab Jamun.
Overall The thali was good and deluxe how it should be.
Filled me up completely but i feel its a bit expensive. 550rs for a Limited thali is too much on budget.Still its worth trying.
Although there's a lot on the menu, whenever I go to Punjab Sweet House it's only to get my chaat cravings sorted...
I crave for Bombay ki Pani Puri and Sev Puri in Bangalore.
Hence, when in Bombay I need to visit this place at least once. It's always super crowded.
Rather than sitting inside, I'd recommend standing out and indulging in their Pani Puri for sure!
Again went here on recommendation about the chaats being great here. Unfortunately, we were late and couldn't try the chaat but we tried Paneer Paratha along with Masala Papad and sweet lassi. The flavours were good which definitely suggests that good ingredients were used. Overall a good place.
A wow place for Punjabis, sindhis and foodies who love North Indian cuisine. Especially those who are starving for Cholle bhature, puris, kulchas, samosa, jalebi, daal - pakwaan. Sarson ka saag and makki roti in winters. Nice cosy place for families
The best place to get good hygienic tasty food in short time home delivery through apps, especially if you crave Indian sweets ,panic puri golgappa and other lovely fresh Indian snacks to satisfy your hungry tummy. recommend by me I'm a fan off the sweets they make as they are the real thing.
Ambience- Spacious bakery with a small sitting option on the first floor which is well lit.
Pocket friendly- Expensive for the quantity and quality served.
Food- Pani puri was very average with the green chilly water being too spicy. Tamarind water was very diluted and the filling consisted only of peas which was dissapointing.
Dahi puri was creamy, rich and mouthful. Spices were well balanced and filling of peas, potato, peanut and dal sprinkled with sev.
Gulab jamun was served hot and was yummy. It was soft on the inside with the right amount of sweetness. Rasgulla was soft and not too sweet and tasty.
Jalebi was crispy and served hot with right amount of sweetness.
Service- Quick and prompt.
Rating- 4 as the menu can be revisited in terms of pricing.
The best pani puri and chaat in Mumbai. If someone says otherwise he needs to get his head checked. Only problem is Zomato ordering starts at 7pm and for direct orders min order value is 500. Please change min order value to 250 and open orders for Zomato from 4pm, you will get a lot more orders.
I am a loyalist. I visit Lashkara often and I'm never disappointed. They have yummy chat varieties,their thalis,rajma chawal,chole tikki,dal khichdi,masala papad are to die for. They also have yummy biryani options and they serve really good portions. They also have amazing seasonal dishes which are really good.
Typical punjabi place which I love! Amazing people out there who love to cook and serve making the food even more tasty. A place which I visit once a month as its down the lane. Keep up the good work!

Lashkara which is on the floor above serves starters, mains and desserts. The staff is polite and cordial. There isn't ample place to sit so ensure that you go well in time.

Punjab Sweet house is one of the best chaat places located in Pali hill, Bandra West. Being a #bandraite I have loved eating here since childhood. It serves amazing mouth watering Chaat items. Snacks and even the restuarant food known for its North Indian cuisine is really good.
This place serves samosas, Dahi puri, tikki, Chole, kachori, papdi chaat, paneer dishes etc... are all of superb quality. I would like do a separate special mention of the Pani Puri served here because I just love them, most of the time I even land up getting parcel of the pani puri as the spices are just perfect and delicious.
The crowd and ambience is also good. The street outside is always busy so better to park your cars and walk it up. The Prices are high but some items are inexpensive and moderately priced. The service and the staff is also good and helpful. Overall nice experience.

Another legendary and evergreen classic in Bandra. Pani puri, chaats, dahi puri, chole, kulfi, ice-creams, sweets, etc. name it and this place has it.
My favorite is the only tikha pani, pani puri and a regular for some really fresh and tasty snacks, sweets and kulfis and fresh gulab Jamuns too.
So if you can surely treat it as a one of places in Bandra for chaats!

So this place is actually quite a hidden gem within the Pali Hill area of bandra. You actually might have to ask to find the place. Located above a sweets shop between the Irish house and five spice as Pali Hill, you actually climb a narrow ladder to go here.
A vegetarians delight and paradise for all the true punjabi food lovers. Though being a fully vegetarian diner, Lashkara serves the best veg. Punjabi food within it's vicinity. You would be actually surprised as to the vast menu it have to offer and might want to have a bite of all.

Brilliant all veg dining room above my favourite sweet, pan puri shop. I have visited many times but for ref today I had a plate of pain puri, masala chaas, dhal khichri, and a phulka for good measure.

This place is good for genuine North Indian flavours. And by genuine I mean Delhi style North Indian food. They really do a good job. Their chole bhature seems to be a popular dish (please have it as a dine-in and not delivery).
We had Afghani paneer tikka and cholle kulche. The paneer tikka was delicious and fresh. The paneer was absolutely melt in the mouth. The Cholle and stuffed kulchaa were good too.
The staff is polite and non-intrusive. The ambience is old school restaurant style.

The best go to go place for vegetarian punjabi food lovers. It’s a small cozy restaurant with authentic taste of punjabi cuisines, makke de roti sarso da saag, soya chaap, it’s too good. Must try. And yes after a heavy meal, Gulaab Jammu is a must. Highly recommended place. Must try.
My place to have chole bhature - best in Mumbai. Did not like sarso ka saag, Pratap da Dhaba is better. Their food is awesome. Complete it with rabri and jalebi
Nice but small place on the first floor. Staff is courteous, service is decent and food tastes good. I found the space a little low on ceiling height and the presence of staff right next to us made it even more claustrophobic. This is just my personal opinion and doesn't reflect badly on the food or service as such.
Excellent and pure punjabi food, with homemade white butter, gur and all the different authentic punjabi accompaniments. The sweets are also top notch, made from pure ingredients. A must visit. Excellent experience.
Full on Punjabi taste...Pani puri was fabulous and cold water was too good. They also have a small restaurant up which has wholesome Punjabi food. We tried their makke di roti and saron da saag, too good. Soft make di rotiyan with butter and sarson da saag was fresh. Their pahadi paneer was ok. Their aachars are just awesome. A little on the expensive side though however the taste is relishing.
Lashkara is all about good food. Lacks ambience and little claustrophobic, since restaurant is on mezzanine. But the food makes up for all of that. Whatever you order, will be amazing.
Superb chats and amazing desserts. The Pani puri is unbeatable! You must also try the Kulfi rabdi falooda bowl.
A nice sweet shop. Kaju rolls were fresh and delicious but Jalebi and Jagar ka halwa were not up to the mark on taste.The concerning part is that the staff is not wearing the face mask properly.
