Visit for tasty chole pattice and hot kala jamun and sev puri.
Very few places in Mumbai provide aloo pattice with chana chole.
It is located under versova metro station. Along with sweets it also has a chat corner. It is more hygienic as compared other roadside chat stalls.

Love everything about this place! Just wish they had a delivery system too! It would have been a big plus! Nothing taste better than their mithai!!
Looking for yummy and hygienic place to eat chat try this place.
Pani Puri, Sev Puri and Masala Puri authentic taste and neat.
Small joint under Versova metro station. Famous for chaats, Paani puri, samosas and patties. Known for it's loyal customers. Recommended for an evening snack. You can sit and treat your taste buds to some authentic grastonomical burst.
Our go to place for sweets during every festival! The service is great and the sweets are fresh and delicious.
One of best places in Versova to have flavorful and hygiene chaat. Sev ki barfi and chole chaap is something which I would recommend to taste.
Recently visited this place as this place is known for its sweets. I had ordered for Sev barfi and Bengali Mithai. And to be honest it was beyond my expectations. It was simply delicious. The service was also pretty good and the staff was also pretty decent. And a great experience visiting this place.
If you go on a Sunday to have the famous Dal pakhwan at 10 am you will not get it as it is sold out by then.. Still somehow got it and taste of that was soo yum that we can go and have it 8 in morning on a sunday.. They should have more till late :(
Me and my family is been having Sweets and Chat from thies place for more then 2 decades and the taste is still the same.. The best is Kaju barfi, Singer ki mithai, Pani puri and Somaso chola!!
Fantastic place if you are a chaat fan, some lipsmackin ragda pattice and paani puri. Also the gulab jamun is amazing. The sweets are made of pure ghee and have a typical Sindhi flavour.
You should try their Samosas served with generous amount of chole and their delicious chutneys. A word of caution for health conscious folks that their food items are heavily laced with ghee. Their chaats are a must try too. It’s a hole in a wall place so mostly attracts take away folks.
Located near the entrance of the 7 Bungalows market, Chandru’s is a familiar name for Sindhi sweets and snacks. This place is recommended for its range of rich dry-fruit halwas.
The Sew Barfi available here is a must have.
During festival times like Holi Chandru’s makes specialties like Gheeher and mawa samosas. Probably no Sindhi household would give these items miss.
Chandru’s also has other typical Sindhi sweets like Mohanthal, however I would encourage non Sindhis’s to buy & try a box of Toshas.
Toshas are subtly sweet bakes and make your ordinary tea time truly special.
While you are waiting for you order to be packed and billed, treat your-self to a Chole-Pattice combo.
Must try their chats which are very tasty but a bit expensive. You must definitely try their :
Bhel Puri ₹50
Sev Puri ₹50
Gulab Jamun
Those items are the ones which I tried and I liked them.
amazing chat and sweets. my most loved dish is the pattice chole and dahi puri. their food is mouth watering I love this place a must visit place
These are the snack joints you grow up with and feel it's unfair to rate them. They have been iconic for years. Chandru sweets continues to maintain the taste though not so much the ambience.
On my recent trip we we're craving for bhel Puri and ordered few plates of it. It's good quantity , freshly made, can tell them customise the amount of chutney if you don't want it too gooey and wet.
We also had the chhole Patty which was cispy friend in ghee and melting in the mouth yummy !
Chandru's claim to fame is making everything in ghee which makes it more fatty but a tad healthier compared to used and reused oil which these restaurants usually make in.
I do recommend stopping by here if you happen to be anywhere around.
Have been a regular to this place since i was a kid, here the chat and chole pattice is awesome n moth watering, the sweets which are available here are fresh n mouth watering
I use to visit this place at least once in a month.. I like dahi puri and chaat here.., pani puri is just ok.. Bt they r best in laddoo and sew barfi.. These two sweets are just awesome.. And sunday specials are also good.
Mostly I would eat there pani puri, ragda pattice ,sev puri and the Best is gulab jamun and swets . There pani puri is in top ten place in Mumbai
This place serves the best Pani puris hands down.
The puris are coated with ghee or butter, (I think ghee) making it sinfully crispy . The theeka and meetha Pani/chutney goes well with the sprout mix. This place also serves good sev and bhel puri.
You can also buy farsaan from here , ( never tried any of them though) The special barfi is actually special , loaded with assorted nuts making it really rich.
But the star of this place is undoubtedly the gulab jamun , I've had gulab jamuns at so many different places (marriages parties ) but none as remotely good as chandrus.
Happy eating :)
I recently made a visit to Chandrus for a quick panipuri session with my friend. The moment i tasted it, I can't express my ultimate liking for it. Perfectly flavoured water added to my satisfaction. The panipuris were so crunchy till the last bite. I just wanted to continue eating it. Ultimate panipuris. Post pani puri we ordered for ragda patis n that added up. Perfect in taste.
Would love to revisit soon n will definitely refer to my friends.
A must visit if you're in 7 bungalows . You may even plan to just visit this place.
Chandru's is the Sindhi special sweet shop of Andheri West. The shop is located in the same line as the 7 Bungalows Pop Tate's. They are really famous for serving some pure ghee Indian sweets. We picked up a few different types of Barfis (Pista/Sev/Malai). Everyone in the house has their favorites, hence we bought a little bit of everything. As for the Barfi I like, my love for Indian sweets is so great, that I liked all of them. Along with the sweets they also sell all kinds of Namkeen (snacks) and have a seating area outside where serve Chats and Ragda Pattis as well.
The most awesome Jalebis for a Sunday morning are available here. The chaat is also incredible. This is a good centre for sweets, chaat and everything related and is a very popular spot in 7 Bungalows.
Craving Pani Puri so much right now. 😩 Chandru's is the only Pani Puri place in Mumbai I have come to trust as they use only purified water to make the flavorful Pani (if you know any hygienic Pani Puri places in South Bombay, please let me know). Of course, it is uber delicious too. They chill their Pani so these treats offer refuge from the harsh Mumbai heat. Oh and yes, they're unintentionally vegan too. 🕵🏽🌿 I prefer my Pani Puri less teekha, jyaadaa meetha, as I am a sucker for sweet and savory. 😻 What about you?
Price: Rs. 45 (6 + 1 sukhi: a bit pricey but totally worth it once in a while)

the sweet shop is iconic place for seven bunglows.best sweetshop the taste has not changed .but be careful of some cockroaches in their display units.but I guess this how much of hygiene you get at any other sweetshop.best place for chaat especially ragda Pattice.
For the best chaat in all of andheri .. got to go Chandrus.
It is basically a mithai shop that started a pani puri stall cause they had a lot of space to spare and it soon turned into a full fledged chaat shop with seating and all.
The cleanliness factor is of utmost importance when eating pani puri and to add to it great taste.
A pure treat. I visit this place for their amazing chaat. The best golgappas of all time. Their sev Barfi is to die for and their Sunday special dal pakwan is the best way to start a Sunday. The only thing they need to improve is their seating arrangement.
Chandrus is always a good option for sweets and chaat❤️

A brand who's chaats I grew up on.
Who's chaats my parents enjoyed in their college years.
(Yes it's been around that lonngg!)
Used to be a fan of their dahi puris, ragda pattice and ofcourse the classic pani puris. Didn't fancy the sev puris as much though.
I remember a time they used to even serve daal pakwan on Sundays only as a special breakfast item. Don't know if they still do that, but it used to be brilliant! Their sweets are also pretty good.
You may find the chaats a tad bit overpriced than the rest but it used to be worth it.
Haven't eaten at this humble little chaat corner for quite a while, hence the past-tense reviews.
But if it hasn't lost it's charm even today, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in Andheri West and craving for chaat.
I have been visiting this place since childhood specially for their golgappas.
I love everything here from the chats to sweet.
Personal fav: pani puri, shevpuri, ragda pattice, kaju katli, shev barfi, motichur ladoos.
The only con is its ambience, its been the same since years. They need to improve on that though.
But great VFM😋
Dis plce is easy to locate as it is nxt to versova metro station... their sev barfi is yummilicious...Dduring festive seasons u hv to wait fr long hours for d sweets bt its worth waitn... If u r nt calorie concious den desi ghee made motichoor ladoos n ghevar r must try n also mawa pedas. Ragda pattice ... pani puri n den ghevar wil gv u instnt foodgasm.... its a mst mst mst try plc if u r in or arnd seven bunglows metro...
PANI PURI is 5/5 the other food like ragda pattice, sev puri and samosa chat are 3.5/5 the place had 4-5 tables and has tasty and hygienic chaat.
Chandru's one of the best sweets shop and snacks joint in Versova.
Sweets:4.8999/5
Ambiance:2.7/5
Staff :4/5
Value for money:4/5
Chandru's is good for snacks especially pattice & sevpuris
It gets irritating to buy sweets during festive season so I buy sweets during non festive season , buying sweets from here since a decade
Overall experience:3.5/5
Delicious Indian chaat and sweets... barfis kaju kartris and motichoor ladoos satisfy my forever sweet cravings..... thinking pani Puri chandru is a synonym for... perfect blend of sweet and spicy.... value for money too.... consistent taste ever since... one of the places I can blindly trust... ragda patis is 2nd on my hot favorite list... 1st being pani Puri ofcrs... just love this place ... only ambiance could have been improved...
Have been eating from here since childhood now ... n it's simply awesome ... good quality has made exist for so many years ... they r a bit expensive but then taste is good specially the dal pakwan on Sundays are awesome !!!
If there is panipuri on your mind this is the place to be.. although the ragda Pattice is not too far behind ..if u have a sweet tooth do try the motichur ladoo or gulab jamun
Have been visiting this place ever since I was a little kid for their pani puri and ragda patice. Absolute delight. A nice small family place which you can visit in the evenings. Their pani puri is wonderful. Ragda patice is the best. But the only problem is if you got a little late after 7 8 on a weekend it gets over. Even their other chaat items are good. A little expensive for the infrastructure. But they make up for it with amazing taste and quality.
And their sweets are a must for every festival.
A great place with great memories !!
Would be recommend :)
Celebrating Holi with freshly made 'Gear' at Chandrus! Made out of pure ghee miced with the richness of saffron and dry fruits, these gigantic jalebis are extrememly mouth watering. Holi is incomplete without biting into one of these rich sweets with ghee drooling out of it! Chandrus Sweets is an old treasure in the suburbs of Mumbai. It is known for its pure ghee Sindhi style sweets and also its amazing mouth watering Mumbai Chaat especially their Paani Puri that's finger licking good. We wish you a very Happy Holi foodies! Not just a place which serves some of the best sweets in mumbai but also some amazing chaats, all the types of chaats you can think of are served here(well most) and they are all amazing, in the sweets section I haven't really explored much but my favorite sev barfi and trust me it is out of the world.
Don't let the name fool you !
Not just sweets, but this place offers amazing Chaat !
The best Pani Puri, Sev Puri and Dahi Puri ever. The pani puri is tangy and cold and really yumm . Must come for a tasty evening snack with your friends.
Among the sweets ...CHOCOLATE BARFI is my all time fav.
The best paanipuri in Andheri...paper thin puris with an awesome filling.
Also, the sev ki barfi is out of the world. I ensure getting it or calling for it all the time. Don't have a sweet tooth but still i love having it.
Have been eating the Dal Pakwan since childhood. It is available only on Sundays. The quality and quantity is the best, do try their aloo tikko chaat and Pani Puri as well. Despite of being a sweet place, I have never tried anything from their sweet menu.
The Pani Puri at Chandru's is just out of the world! The other chat items are a must try too... The Dahi puri and Chole Tikki are crazy taste as welll!
It is difficult to find and has got hidden between the million eateries on this road but once you hunt for it- you wont be disappointed...
I have not tried the sweets so cannot say much on the same but the chat one must visit for the chat itself!
The Best Chat... Love the Pani Puri, Dhai Puri...you even get some awesome sindhi curry and dal pakwan on sunday mornings... So you must try all these...
Chandru's has always been my favorite for the sweets they offer. Their Kaju Katri n Kesar Pedha are to die for!
It has a small chaat counter which offer some mouth watering dishes...I often go there to grab a plate of ragda pattice!!
Mostly take aways. ..Small place to eat. ..In the open. ..
Daal pakwaan is the best. ... and some Sindhifood as well..... To try more next time
Not a single week goes by, when I don't go to this place for its Pani puri! I sometimes dream about it too!! It's that good! As a Pani puri fanatic, I can tell you that this is one of the best Pani puri outlets in town. The sweets are delicious too.. The Kaju Katli and the famed Sev Barfi are some things I grew up having on festivals and occasions. The gulab jamuns are awesome too. Their Dal Pakwan, a Sunday special item has been evading me so far, but I shall succeed. Soon. The taste hasn't changed a bit for all these years. I hope it stays the same forever!
N8ce panic puri and sweets must go....bit pricey but worth it ^_^ feel free to thank me later okay? On yes they have some awesome lassie must try
The pani-puri here is heaven! Though its sandwiched between many shops near the Versova metro station, it stands out for its chaat and sweet prowess. The chaat items are lip-smacking and you can be rest assured of the quality. Also, try laying your hands on their dal-pakwaan. It's a craze on sunday mornings.
One cant miss this small joint near Bon Bon. It was once rated among top tens for the best chaat in Mumbai. Paani Puri and Dahi Puri one should definitely try, You cant miss.
Yummmyyyyy! I've a sweet tooth. . And my craze for sweets are fulfilled here... Best things here in sweets , Kaju Katri, Mawa Barfi and Pista Barfi.
This place has been a regular jaunt Forbes long as I can remember, serving perfect chaat and a killer selection of sweets. Highly recommend the malai barfi.
'The Gol-Gappa Connect'
Pain Puri of this outlet is favourite. Indians at large have an emotional hitch with the eternal "Gol-Gappa".....

Chatpata chat be it samosa or the kachori chat both are yummy..the pani puri is chilled and very flavourfull..and not to forget its gulab jamuns are to die for..really liked it
The place does some excellent Pani-Puris. The puris are different from the typical dark-brown puris served at the local vendors. Also, they take extra care of hygiene when making the chat here. Never will you see the man serving pani-puri without gloves on his hand or without a cap on his head.
Infact the place does more than just delicious chaat. They have some amazing sweets too. Their gulab jamuns are to die for. Also they serve some of the most authentic sindhi sweets during festivals - like the sev barfi and the pista barfi during Diwali. During Holi, they sell their much-famed Gheeyar, which is out of stock even before it can come into the sweet-shop.
To start with, they serve the best Chaat In Andheri. Their Sev Burfi is simply delicious without which may be I just cant survive... Including many other sweets. The list can be endless.
If you want to have chaat ,in suburbs this is the place to be. Being a Sindhi i love the sweets and other food items served here. If you can do away with ambience, this is hygienic and finger licking good food.
To start with their mithaai is better than other sweet shops in the area .. Esp love their milk cake . their chat section is also nice esp their dahi puri ... However the seating is OK and staff is also a bit rude .. Their dal pakwan on a Sunday is a must try .. A nice place for chaats with a gud quality
An old favourite sweet shop since the time self and my friends were staying close..taste and quality of sweets are too much..decent chat joint where you can get best pani puri..
Best chaat in all of versova. Acceptable level of hygiene+ super fast service.
Must try
Chandru's - Favourite Chaat eatery since childhood. Lucky to live in vicinity when sudden "Pani-puri" cravings get catered to at ease. Would've reviewed this place long ago, but couldn't find it on Zomato. Anyway, this place hasn't changed since years. Same old taste of Pani Puri, Sev Puri, Bhel and Dahi Batata Puri - all are super faves and super yummy! Have tried the samosa & ragda pattice which are delicious too! Coming to Mithai- Sev Barfi is a must try for those who don't know of it and for those who have a sweet tooth and it's taste is impeccable since years just like the chaat here! The staff has been the same, friendly and welcoming. So yes, 5 stars it is because Chaat is a personal favourite and it has to be at Chandru's!
The taste and quality of sweets and chaat makes up for anything that you may not like about this place like the ambience and prices. And if you are a Sindhi then you have to agree that some of our favorite sweets are not even available at other sweet shops.
Perfect Mithaiwala shop in town.
The only reason I am reviewing this place is because I believe they serve the best pani puri in the world. I am a huge pani puri fan and have tried it at lots of places but this one's my best. They have awesome chaat and their sweets are amazing. But why most people swear by this place is only for their pani puri. I would request everyone to try it. You'll miss out on this experience otherwise. Please do give it a shot.
Has been a favorite since a very long time. Hygenic chaat joint, excellent sweets available, and seating available.
I had pani puri, sev puri, black gulab jamun and jalebi.
Offers Great snacks for evening...
Really Yummyyyyy.....
It is a decent Chat joint, which seems to be an extended version of a sweet shop. They have 5-6 tables outside where 15-20 people can be accommodated. A decent joint and more like any other chat joints. The only annoying thing is the metro line and busy road which makes the place very noisy and dull.
A friend of mine insisted me to go here for Chole Pattice which they serve with Chuney, Onions and Pav (Sindhi Style). But unfortunately by the time we made it to this place, the stock was over. We could see the last order of Chole Pattice being served on the table next to us at around 8 PM. The options on the menu are limited as they have restricted themselves to chat and not extended to claiming it as a fast-food corner.
What next? We ordered for Chole Samosa (single) which was also served with chuney and onions. The somosa was fresh and they overall combination of chole, samosa, onions and chutney was well blended and tasted great. They place looked hygienic as well compared to other such places. After downing the samosa, we called for Dahi Bhel. I have had dahi puri and dahi papdi zillions of time but never thought that bhel would blend well with curd as well. I thought the bhel would get soggy, which wasn’t the case. They Bhel was amazing and extremely spicy. People who can’t handle spicy food ensure you mention it while placing your order itself.
They also have Sunday Special menu, where they serve Dal Pakwan, Curry and Halwa (Sindhi specialties)
The service is prompt and the staff is very well versed with all the dishes. The prices are a little high as compared to any other chat corner, but it isn’t extreme. Quite worth it! Dahi Bhel was for Rs. 60/- and Single samosa for Rs. 15/-
Looking forward to try the Chole Pattice and Dal Pakwan!
Overall:
Great Food! Good Service! Average Ambiance! (Open road-side) Decently priced!
Chandru's is a sweet shop which also serves chaat. It has the best pani puri . It's priced at Rs. 30 per plate Their chaats are very popular . Must try their sev barfi. It's a sindhi mithai made out of sev . One of my favourites is dal pakwan which is made only on Sunday mornings . If you don't make it here on time in the morning there are chances you won't get it . They also sindhi curry and halwa.
An old favourite since the time we were staying close by.
Besides the sweets which are outstanding, they also have Paani Puri one of the early ones to serve with chilled bisleri water and boondi ala Elco style.
The Dahi Puri and Dahi wada are second and are made with generous dose of Dahi and sprinkling of masala. Tastes just yummy.
The Sev Puri and Bhel are the sanitised version and don't work for me.
The Ragda Pattice Sindhi version is always limited stock but very good. A must have with Pav.
The Samosa is okayish, better had alone with chutney if you must. But another good try is a mirchi bhaji which is very good. However these are limited and at time refried stuff which does not work for me.
THE DAL PAKWAN IS MIND- BLOWING AND SO IS THE SEV BURFI......
Located at Seven Bungalows near Versova, Andheri, this place is one of the oldest and most renowned places for chaats.
We tried their pani puri and it was an amazing experience. Though it's slightly expensive at 70 bucks, it's also hygienic and fun. Their dahi puri was absolutely tasty as well. The overall atmosphere and the service is really good.
Also eaten daal pakwan, kala jamun and Sev Barfis in the past which is quite famous. While I'm not a sweet loving person anymore, will recommend anyone with a sugar tooth to experience it.
There's a good chance you may end up spotting a TV celebrity here who might be relishing the chaats here. The time we went, there was Rahul Vaidya of Indian Idol fame along with his family.
Do let us know what you think about this eatery. We have found our new favourite chaat eating place and will keep adding further updates.
While Chandru’s is primarily a sweet shop with yummy sweets, they also have chaat stalls that are set up outside the shop. The Kaju Katri and Sev Barfi are personal favourites especially when they are fresh. The chaat options include Paani Puri, Sev Piri, Bhel and Dhai Batata Puri which according to me is one of the best in the city. They also have Ragda pattice which is yum. The seating area is less and generally full especially in the evenings. Parking is at your own risk as your vehicle may get towed unless you park your vehicle at a designated public parking space 500m away.
I tried their DAL PAKWAN which was awesome and also the responsible price this place is situated below versova metro station parking here is bit a problem but u can park in any lanes
One of the oldest and the best Chaat joints on Andheri West versova area. Food is fresh, hygienic, tastes great, good service. They also have specials around festivals like Holi, Diwali and on Sundays. Would definitely recommend this to anyone that loves chaat
Located below Versova Metro station next to Pop Tates. As per my friend, It's an old famous shop in this area for chat and sweets.
Had their famous Aloo Tiki. It was scrumptious. Also had their Sev Barfi.
Very very tasty and yummy food , fast service , hygienic, good quality , I will visit again and again enjoy chat very much.
One of the best Sweets and Snacks for me, their Sev Mawa Barfi is my favourite and you should definitely try.
Chole Pattice - 5/5
The chole is super fresh and the pattice is made in pure ghee. Super amazing, absolutely loved the taste!
Pani Puri - 3.5/5
They put in soaked bundi mixture in their Pani puri and not your regular moong or aloo or ragda, nonetheless, the Paani is really refreshing.
The Panipuri experience won’t make leave you feel satisfied enough.
Would visit here again for other chaats and varieties for sure!
The place is thronged by sweet and chaat lovers. Specialist for Sindhi delicacies. Awesome Sev Barfi. You also get dal pakwan and Sindhi kadi on Sunday mornings. The specials get over within a few hours so be early on Sunday to avoid disappointment.
Very good quality sweets especially Sindhi sweets. Sev bharfi, Cashew sweet is a must try.

An offshoot of famous 'Tharu' pure ghee sweets, a traditionally established shop. Famous for Pure ghee sweets, Dal Pakwan, Snacks. Favourite hang out for Pani puri, Sev Puri, Chole-Patis etc. that are prepared with care to retain traditional tastes and purity. Sweets are prepared with utmost care and attracts customers on all days. Some special items are available on weekends and Sundays and for them there is usually a wait but customers prefer to wait and enjoy. Despite some limitations shop can boost of dedicated and loyal customers coming regularly since decades.
Sindhi mithaiwala...there are 2 famous Sindhi mithaiwalas in Mumbai west...Tharu sweets at Khar West & Chandru Pure ghee sweets at 7 bungalows, under DN nagar Metro. Both are good. We bought pragri & gheere - classic Sindhi sweetmeats eaten during Holi. Tasty
Amazing place for Indian Snacks and Sweets! Must visit!
