Been going to Silver Coin since 2003, it's the place we as a family go to when we make a last minute decision to eat out and it never disappoints. It's been helpful during the lockdown too via delivery and keeping our taste buds alive. Would definitely recommend.

Spicy chilies and Cheese loaded on bread.

Wontons are typical oriental starter served with sweet Onion & Garlic sauce.

This place is really nice because they have some genuine taste of selection for what to offer on the menu! This place can be your savior when you are bored or really confused about where to take your girl and how to spend time! I will suggest to here enjoy the amazing menu spend your time because people working here are really nice folks.
This place has always been my favorite for Chicken steak like the old rustic steak with pepper wine sauce,French fries, buttered veges. Love this place for food . They serve alcohol as well which is very reasonable along side chesselings and pop corn.

Recently visited this outlet silver coin which is in IC Colony. This restaurant has been in my lost but better late then never. I would specially recommend Banjara Kebab with mint Chutney. It's just delightful. Also ordered chicken manchow soup which was great.The staff was polite and The service was awesome. Highly recommend this restaurant for Non veg food.

The ambience was beautiful.
We ordered some Mocktails like strawberry delite and pinacolada.they were awesome.
In starters I liked the Ginger basil Chicken.
The taste was awesome.the spices were perfect.
In main course we had chicken peshawari.
The staff had recommended this dish.
The taste was ultimate.
In Desserts we had the sizzling brownie.
Overall a nice place to visit with family and friends.

We loved the Crab meat ball in Ginger Galic sauce. Amazing!! The madira kebab was well cooked and marinated. Good start as appetizers!
The chiken fried rice was simple, sufficient quantity and again tasty.
Lastly the desserts.. Caramel custard and chocolate mousse were perfect end to our lovely meal...

The lolipops were perfectly cooked and striked the right balance between the crispy outer layer and the inner soft meat.

•Butter chicken with Malabar paratha: Decent portion of Gravy, with an adequate quantity of chicken. The paratha were a bit extra oily but crispy.
Roasted chicken in firepot: Marinated Chicken bits, in a mild sauce along with noodles, a little less salty for my preference but were good with a bit of Soy.

Silver coin which is an outlet at IC Colony Borivali West. The place is totally amazing for a good fine to dine and nightlife experience. The ambiance is really amazing. The service was prompt and the crowd was fancy too. It had a good comfortable sitting area with soft music.

We went out with the sunrise mocktail. It was really amazing. We totally loved the taste.
Tried there man chow soup chicken which was really soul-satisfying. I totally loved it.
In the starters definitely go for the Banjara kabab. It's really wonderful to have. The perfect masala and the taste and juicy chicken is really great. Another we tried was the chicken basil ginger which was amazing too. I totally enjoyed it.!

In the main course, we had the Paneer Rara masala and the Special Chef Biryani. Both the items were amazing in taste. If you are going for nonveg do order this rice. The taste was really great.! In the desert, we had vanilla ice cream along with fruit salad. Fruits were apple, Banana, watermelon, orange. It was beautiful.

Staff: They are observant, they know their food and they understand the client requirements too. Loved the fact that they don't think twice before they suggest something, give their suggestions and help you make better choices.

The moment we entered tables were very well decorated with a candle light and cloth.
Talking about the staff, they really need some training.
Staff didn't knew much about the quantity and food preparation from their menu.
This place has small bar which gives old restaurant kind of vibe to this place as this restaurant is also very old one.

Recently visited this place. The place has decent seating space and ambience is quite good. They have an extensive menu ranging from starters to desserts. The restaurant mainly specialises in North Indian Chinese and Thai cuisines. The staff here is extremely friendly and helped us through the menu. The food here is amazing , well prepared and the presentation as well is quite good. All in all we had a really good experience here and it’s a good place to spend an evening with friends and family over some good food.
One of the oldest restaurants in the area, it has good non vegetarian food. Variety in veg is a bit less.
The taste is quite good but the presentation and portion size could be improved.
We tried dishes like Chicken Kebabs and Veg kebabs which were good in taste but less portion size. The vegetable gravy was quite good and we ordered garlic naan which was also well made.

The menu is vast and favourable for both vegetarians and Non-vegetarians.

The restaurant is expansive with two huge sections the seating is very comfortable and cozy with sofa and chairs. The tables are well decorated with the cloth.

Appetizers we ordered something very light so called for Fried wantons it's mixture of veggies stuffed and deep fried crispy served with sweet base garlic giving Chinese flavour descent option.
In mains Vegetable Oriental pot rice was my want and i felt it was light and perfect option white steamed rice along with Oriental gravy made in dark Brown sauce along with assorted veggies it was yumm the rice and gravy were going well togather it was juicy mouthwatering enjoyed it.
Desserts had alot of options to go with i choose Ebony Ivory suggested by staff too it was delightful and Chocolatey it was brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and dry fruits.

The refresher: Justifies its name. Long glass with a refreshing mocktail.
Banana coffee breathe: Recomended for those who love coffee. A great mocktail presented well with a banana cut in a bird shape and presented.
Banjara kebab: This was suggested by the staff and indeed a dish worth recommending. The boneless pieces nicely marinated n cooked.
Chicken red chilly dry: After having one indian dish opted for a oriental dish. Good preparation and quantity.
Chicken Afghani: All three appetizer I ordered were outstanding with different methods of preparation. This one in cashew sauce was different.
Triple Schezwan fried rice: This could be better. Great quantity though.
Caramel custard: The wobbly caramel custard got gobbled down in record time of 30 secs. It was so good

Typical family restaurant where you can also drink. Ambience type gave me a nostalgic feeling because during childhood we used to go this type of premium restaurant. Nowadays the ambience is pretty modern but this place has that 90's premium vibe. I love how cute the bar is.
Mostly all types of food items are served here. In food they are quite modern. Service was also excellent, food quality was also good certainly everything was value for money.
I usually don't eat lamb but my friend have suggested me to eat here so i ordered lamb chilly which was tasty. Paneer pasanda was good but it was too sweet, biryani was average as i had some high expectations for it.
Overall it's a perfect place for family get together something which your dad will definitely love it. Staff is professional also the food has the best quality.

They are masters in all the three cusines and sizzlers is to die for. Specially if you are seafood lover, you are up for a treat. The seafood and lamb options are Massive.

Silver coin Is literally a legendary place around this area and I remember visiting this place 20 years ago. Of course the place has changed a lot and it’s quite huge looking now but it still has the same friendly vibe it had always. The service and the team is probably as old as the restaurant as some of them have been around from the start. They are quick in service and friendly to talk to.
Coming to the food; we tried the following
1. Burnt garlic soup. This was a clear broth with loads of garlic and vegetables. I loved it as it was ideal for the slight chill in the evening weather. Had a great flavour.
2. Tandoori mushrooms. Were slightly spicy and harder than I expected. The marination could have been better.
3. Paneer hiltari. Big chunks of paneer with a layer of minced vegetables in the center. Had a good chargrilled taste.
4. Paneer lazeez with Roti. They use Malai paneer here which is excellent in quality and is literally a melt in the mouth texture. The red gravy was quite good.
5. Caramel custard. Was just perfect. Slightly sweet for my preference. But overall very good .
A great vfm place shd has a somewhat old world charm and will retain it forever I Believe.

One of the oldest Family Restaurant, Silver Coin has one of the Iconic Restaurant & Banquet across Mumbai.
Well, you won't be disappointed with the bar menu and the cocktail that they serve. The bar is well stocked with genuinely priced drinks.
Moreover, Food will definitely make you come back for more. Sizzlers are a specialty here and do try their Seafood sizzler. The menu consists of options in Indian food, Chinese as well as continental.. do Try the Prawns Butter Garlic, Drums of heaven, Tai Pai chicken from Chinese appetizers section. Tandoori Tikkas shouldn't be missed too - they have good option in Seafood to start from.
my suggestion for main course here is some curry with the crispy Tandoori Roti.

We visited the place last week for its Chinese and desi cuisine. It is a decent family restaurant you can visit anytime you want to dig in some comfort food especially if you are in Borivali.
We started off with a simple chicken crispy which is is a signature dish at the restaurant. Along with it. We also tried some chicken Pahadi kebabs. As the name suggests the chicken was spicy and crispy just the way I like and the kebabs was succulent. In the mains we ordered Chicken Rara Which is a thick red gravy containing Chunks of chicken along with some grated chicken added for texture. We also had a glass of lemon iced tea. Which was made to perfection. For some deserts we tried of your scoops of ice cream. would love to visit this place again whenever I Crave some comfort food.

For starters, we tried their: Crispy potatoes and Hara Bhara Kebab. Potatoes were properly fried and they were crisp from outside and soft from inside and were tossed in chilli with bell peppers. Loved it! Must try! Hara Bhara Kebab was so tender and just so so delicious! loved it too! They serve really amazing starters!
For mains, we tried Veg Kadhai with Roomali Roti and Laccha Paratha. Veg Kadhai was so so creamy and super delicious! Also the Laccha Paratha was so nicely cooked and topped with lot of butter and cashews.. love love loved it!
We also tried Jeera rice with Dal Fry.. Rice were appropriately cooked and Dal was a little more on the oilier side..but together they tasted so goood! Simple yet delicious!
For desserts, we sticked to the normal Malai Kulfi which was way too yumm! Chilled Kulfi in this chilled weather! Amazingg!

I visited silver coin cafe with my husband. If you ask me this is a really good place. Loved everything special the starters and the variety in the menu. Excellent for non vegetarians. Kebabs excellent.
Silver coin cafe is just amazing when it comes to service and taste.
The quantity is really good. Since I am vegetarian I tried a lot of vegetarian items from the starters main course and dessert.
I definitely recommend that you try the Paneer hiltari tikka which was so good.
Another one that I recommend you try is the Tandoori mushroom. Soft silky and such an earthy flavour and so well balanced.
In main course I hadthe Triple schezwan fried rice which was amazing in quantity. You can also try the delicious Flat Malaysian noodles. We enjoyed all this food with drinks like the strawberry delight and the green apple cooler.
Desert was amazing as well. I recommend that you try caramel custard

Silver Coin has been my family Lunch/Dinner place since my childhood. We first started to come here because of their tasteful sizzlers (which hasn't changed a bit till date). But now, we have had a lot more than just sizzlers at this place.
The staff is super sweet with us since they have been knowing us since years so I think my take on the behavior if the staff would be biased. The ambience is decent enough.
This place is loved by most of the people. I can say this because it is always crowded during the weekends and on holidays.
Stepping down to the food we have here most of the times -
Chicken Sweet Corn Soup - A family favorite. The soup is really thick with lots of corn and threaded chicken in it. The quantity is very generous.
Veg manchow soup - My personal favorite since ages. Again, no complains with the quantity and the taste of it.
Cashew Chicken/Dub Chicken - This dish is off the menu but if you ask the waiter, he might get you this dish. Boneless chicken chunks shallow fried and served dry with a sweet spicy sauce and cashew bits. A really good appetizer.
Chicken banjara kabab - This was something that I tried recently and had my mind blown. Boneless chicken pieces marinated in super spicy tandoori masala and slow grilled over charcoal. A new favorite.
Chicken/Lamb Sizzler - The main dish of this place. Probably the king of all dishes. The sizzlers here are simply the best of all. The magic of the sizzler lies in the sauce. The in-house sauce is so good. It hasn't changed a bit in all these years. The chicken/lamb pieces are very tender and juicy. The sizzler has a portion of meat, fries, veggies, rice/noodles.
Verdict - This place has been my favorite over the years and will stay as my favorite for more years coming. Tip: Try to eat more from the oriental, indian cuisine and avoid chinese here. You will fall in love with it.

Silver coin is a nice family restaurant that offers a lot of variety. So on the occasional of my in laws birthday we as family went out for dinner. The food was good. We ordered crab starters, mutton and paneer which were all good. For main course we ordered sizzlers in paneer and chicken. Overall it was good but the sauce used was same .

Chicken sizzler: Is served with fries, butter rice/ noodles, saute vegetables (beans, cauliflower, green peas, carrot). And the hero of the show, two big peices of chicken. This sizzler is fulfilling for two people.
The people who drink, get unlimited popcorns n cheesling with it.

It's a very old family restaurant in dahisar. About the Ambience ,Dim and cozy lights. The bar counter is fabulous properly decorated.

Virgin mojito - It was pretty good, Not that sweet. Properly blended with Pudina leaves.
Blue lagoon drink - Chilled and refreshing. The presentation of this drink was mind blowing.
For starter we had,
Chicken pepper paneer - Chicken marinated and coated and fried with pepper gravy. Was good but after sometimes the pepper taste irritates so must have only if your sharing this dish.
Spring roll - Vegetable stuffed spring roll it was, The taste was average. Not that great.
Paneer sizzler - Fried rice poured with paneer gravy which was sweet actually, served with paneer sticks and fries.
For dessert we had,

A few days back when again I happen to be in the area with a friend I decided that it's high time and I need to step into this place . An afternoon lunch brought me to this place and we were welcomed by a note on the gate - Dry Day. They were playing light instrumental music in the background.
We ordered - Baby Bellucini, Green Cooler, Virgin Mojito, Sunrise, Tai Chin Kin, Lamb Steak, Mutton Rogan Josh, Triple Schezwan Fried Rice, Sizzling Brownie and Honey Noodles with Ice Cream.
The Drinks were awesome and tasted well, they even went right with the food choices we made.
Baby Bellucini - Apple Flavored drink, sweet to taste. Topped with half an apple
Green cooler - Couldn't actually understand the flavor here, but it was sweet and tangy.
Virgin Mojito - One of my favorites, and they just aced at it.
Sunrise - This one had a bland flavor to it, but was a little bit bubbly.
Tai Chin Kin - Chinese Chicken preparation, somewaht similar to the Chicken Crispy.
Lamb Steak - Rare medium mutton pieces cut in small chunks. The sauce was tangy and sweet, the fried fresh and crisp.
Mutton Rogan Josh - Somewhat their own iteration of Rogan Josh, but it went well with the garlic naan.
Triple Schezwan Fried Rice - Schezwan Rice topped with Schezwan Gravy with fried Noodles.
Sizzling Brownie - Basic Brownie but softest brownie yet, I liked the sizzle. The hot plate was nicely heated.
The service was humble and quick, they informed us about the Dry Day and that no alcohol would be used in the food items prepared.

We went there after 25 years! The preparation and taste of the food is excellent. We tried, Prawns butter garlic, Chicken Lollipop (starters), Chicken Gassi and Neer dosa (main course). Given to understand the chef is also there since 25 years. Authentic Mangalorean spices, flavours and taste of Chicken Gassi made us to order one more (along with Chicken Kundalpur) for take away! With quiet surroundings, they have happy hours and candle light dinner as well. Staff (some old and new) are on their feet and give good suggestions to try. All is good. We are glad to have got another opportunity to visit Silver Coin. Wishing them all success.
Visited Silver Coin after a long time (more than a year or so perhaps). This time with my family circle of around 15 people including our kid gang. The atmosphere was good enough for all of us to enjoy our chit chat and kids' masti. The staff was supportive and accomadative although we were a bit noisey group. Thanks to the restaurant staff for that.
The food is quite alright. Some dishes were great, others could improve a bit more. But nothing was too bad to be mentioned here. Will surely visit the place again.

Typical family restaurant where you can also drink. Ambience type gave me a nostalgic feeling because during childhood we used to go this type of premium restaurant. Nowadays the ambience is pretty modern but this place has that 90's premium vibe. I love how cute the bar is.

The refresher: Justifies its name. Long glass with a refreshing mocktail.
Banana coffee breathe: Recomended for those who love coffee. A great mocktail presented well with a banana cut in a bird shape and presented.
Banjara kebab: This was suggested by the staff and indeed a dish worth recommending. The boneless pieces nicely marinated n cooked.
Chicken red chilly dry: After having one indian dish opted for a oriental dish. Good preparation and quantity.
Chicken Afghani: All three appetizer I ordered were outstanding with different methods of preparation. This one in cashew sauce was different.

A proper fine dine place for families, this place has a huge and decent seating, accompanied by a banquet hall as well. It looks deceptively small from outside, but the ambience inside is elegant. The menu is vast and favourable for both vegetarians and Non-vegetarians.
The ambience is amazing calm, relaxing and peaceful to spent quality time with your family and friends.
The restaurant is expansive with two huge sections the seating is very comfortable and cozy with sofa and chairs. The tables are well decorated with the cloth.

In front of the entrance there is small bar nicely made and appears attractive too.

In mains Vegetable Oriental pot rice was my want and i felt it was light and perfect option white steamed rice along with Oriental gravy made in dark Brown sauce along with assorted veggies it was yumm the rice and gravy were going well togather it was juicy mouthwatering enjoyed it.
Desserts had alot of options to go with i choose Ebony Ivory suggested by staff too it was delightful and Chocolatey it was brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and dry fruits.

First of all, had ordered Hara Bara Chicken. It tasted delicious. Next, had ordered Sizzlers. They all tasted really delicious. Lastly, had ordered a Silver Coin Special Ice-cream that tasted really good. The quantity was good. The ambience was good. The service was good. The prices were a little bit on a higher side. Overall, a good place for Indian and other cuisines.

Situated in the western suburbs of Mumbai i.e Borivali.One can easily reach the venue here by catching an auto from Borivali West Railway Station OR hop into BEST Route No.240 till Holy Cross.
As this restaurant was celebrating its 25th year today so i was invited to explore its variety of dishes.
Its family restaurant with Indo-Chinese cuisine with bar & grill.
Looking at the menu it has various types of veg,non-veg dishes including various types of chinese cuisines.
I ordered Mulgatwany Soup which is my favourite along with Spring Roll & Sunrise Mocktail as a starter dish.
Mulgatwany Soup : Rich flavoured soup spiced with curry leaves.
Spring Roll : Veg spring roll made using various types of vegetables,soya sauce,onions,noodles wrapped into a roll & deep fried to make it crispier.
Sunrise Mocktail : Mocktail made using fresh orange juice & strawberry syrup to give sunrise effect mixed with club soda & ice garnished with lime.
In the main course i ordered Kashmiri Pulav,Hiltari Pander Tikka & Pineapple Raita.
Kashmiri Pulav : This is an authentic Kashmiri dish made using basmati rice mixed with spices i.e cardamon,cinnamon sticks,pepper,tez patta,onions.To give a rich royal touch lots of dry fruits like almonds,pistachios,raisins are added.To give its original authentic aroma flavour saffron are added.
Hiltari Paneer Tikka : Tikka made using paneer wrapped in a stick with various vegetables roasted in grill by mixing various spices & tint of lime juice.
Pineapple Raita : Salad made using pineapple & curd.
As its chinese restaurant too i decided to try chinese dishes too like Gobi Manchurian & Schezwan Hakka Noodles.
Gobi Manchurian : Gobi means cauliflower.Manchurian balls made using cauliflower mixed with spring onion,ginger garlic paste,toasted into corn starch & vinegar to give it gravy effect. Silver Coin Restaurant & Bar
Schezwan Hakka Noodles : Hakka noodles is an authentic chinese dish made out of maida.Its made using variety of vegetables,spring onion,ginger garlic paste,chilly paste mixed with schezwan masala.
Last but not the least how can anyone leave without tasting d dessert.I tried d Royal Falooda Icecream.
Royal Falooda : Its an icecream made using milk,sugar,vermicelli or sev to give royal touch,sabja seeds,various dry fruits & various fruits.On top of it scoop of vanilla ice cream is added.
All the dishes are too good & tasty.Yummy!!!.
I recommend this restaurant to everyone coz of its ambience,food,servings etc.

This is very good place in suburbs it's in IC colony. It's since 30 years. A very good suggestive staff.
Manchow soup:- A very lip smacking hot soup a must try it.

Paneer haltari tikka:- This was truly amazing paneer was very much tempting and too fluffy in eating i really loved
Veg crispy:- Again this was too savoury and delicious.
Mocktails
Virgin pinnacolada :- It was really nice and perfect refreshment
Green cooler:- Very refreshing little sweet and tasty

Sabzji kadai:- Sabji was mind blogging with all type of veggies and balanced gravy.
Butter Naan/ kulchha:- Naan and kulchha was super tasty and mushy
Veg chinese pot rice:- Pot rice decent need little bit changes has there less of gravy and very much mild taste of chinese
Dessert
Gulab jamun:- It was too soft and serve super hot and fresh really like the taste of gulab jamun.
