Lovely concept Resturant, huge setup with and island bar and stylish layout overall.
Service is excellent and staff is courteous. SpecIal thanks to the chef who visits and pay attention to details as needed/requested.
I will prefer evenings for such a place and spend your time at leisure.
Food is yummy and tasty, few amazing experiments over food and bar setup is huge!

We really don't understand why this place isn't getting enough footfalls or doesn't have over 4 star ratings on zomato! But let us tell you, we have had an amazing dining experience at The Spare Kitchen.
What we ordered:
Paneer Bhurji Quesadilla - Such a simple concept, Paneer Bhurji sandwiched between two parathas! Wonder why haven't all the restaurants not made this a permanent item on their menu! Not only was the bhurji lipsmacking but the entire concept, well presented what with the tomato salsa and everything was just awesome!Dilli Wale Chhole Kulche - Mini slider style baked kulchas topped with dilli wale chhole. Again, a simple item presented with finesse and elegance! This simple item looked fancy for the sheer presentation! Not to mentioned, it tasted amazing too.
Paneer Bhurji Quesadilla - Because one portion was not enough. Hence, repeat!
Chipotle Paneer and Mexican Khichdi - And now for the finale, our desi khichdi given a jaw dropping twist! We still have the taste of this khichdi in our minds! YUM YUM YUM!!!
The Spare Kitchen deserves people to go and try out its menu! We gonna visit the place again for sure.P.S - We walked in for a genuine lunch date, this is not a blogger's table review!

We went over here on Friday Night for a family dinner. This place is fit for a family get together or parties, located at the 4th Floor of Atria Mall. The good thing is they take reservations for Friday Nights also and although situated in Mall they have Vallet Parking. The major disappointment of this place is only the portion size they serve. Some dishes were like why this much also, better don’t list in Menu?! My detailed ratings goes as below:
Ambiance: 5/5--- I personally loved the Ambiance. As soon as you enter at the entrance desk, there is beautifully lighten vas, followed by a huge book shelf having some wonderful books. There is an empty fish tank (the reason unknown). On the other side there is a huge painting. The place is not very brighten up, but appropriately lighten! There is Music playing in back ground but not loud enough that you can’t have a conversation.
Service: 5/5 The staff is well trained, mannered and very friendly. The service is decent too.
Cost: 2/5. Cost wise the place is decently priced. Not a pocket friendly placed but wont empty ur pockets too! Some dishes are expensive as per the portion size. My rating cost wise is 2 because of their portion size.
Food: 4/5. The food is good but the major drawback of this place is the portion size. The Portion size is very very small as per the price! Like who serves just 2 Garlic bread? I am highly disappointed by the Portion size. Rest the taste and quality of the food is decent. Let me go through the dishes we ordered:
Smoked Tomato and Bell Pepper Soup: They don’t serve 1 by 2 types.. Each one has to take One full portion of the soup. The soup is on little spicy side because of the black pepper quantity they use.
Burnt Garlic Malai Panner Tikka: This was nice dish..saute Malai Paneer Cubes topped with Garlic Tadka. The panner was amazing.
Hummus with Pitta: Hummus was very well made served with Pitta..amongst the other places I have ever tried Hummus, this one was good till now.
In mains, we ordered Panner- Pepper corn kadhai which was suggested by them along with Black dal… the sabzi was good in taste not on spicy side, however the dal was little disappointing…black dal going wrong is rarest. The tandoori roti was fresh, very soft and good in taste.
Then was Penne pasta in white sauce for kid… the pasty was really well made with good amount of sauce.. The kid enjoyed it.
Garlic Bread--- The platter just had 2 garlic bread.. First I thought they are giving it complimentary, then I realised it what I ordered! The tasty was good to compensate the annoyance!
Pizza—We ordered The Indian Classic PTP and their speciality Nizza. The first one was mind blowing and best amongst everything we ordered. Whereas Nizza , our expectations weren’t met.. it was highly okish.
They have some amazing Mocktails, we happened to order Tropical Elderflower ice tea and Pink Paradise, trust me both of them was excellent.
Overall Nice place, they shud work on their portion size.

Was very happy with the cheese/potato/leek soup and garlic bread. Pizzas were very nice and so also the pasta and lasagna, both of which were adapted slightly as per our request by the friendly staff. Tiramisu wasn't available so had the kulfi which was quite good too served in their own style.
Maybe wouldn't merit a long distance trip to dine here but if you're in the neighborhood, you'll come out well satisfied. Pretty reasonable, too.

Waiting to go back! Loved the ambience...tall ceilings...books....abundant place and well laid out tables. Food...while fusion, very innovatively curated menu. Abundant jain options too. Had a herbed soup which was very nice. Amritsari choley starter was quite exciting. An awesome desserts menu too. Pls make the nazzas jain...it seemed to be quite interesting. The service was exceptional. Very cordial and very willing to attempt a change to satisfy a consumer. Well, need to go back as couldnt do justice to the elaborate menu.

Spare kitchen, Atria Mall offers spacious place for large group of friends, with beautiful ambience, overlooking the Arabian Sea, good food and non pushy servers to finish the meal fast.
A bibliomaniac would enjoy this place as it has a of variety of books on display that anybody could pick up and enjoy reading.
We ordered quite a few appetitzers, pizzas and mocktails and were so full that we didn't opt for the main course. So there is no chance you can try all that's there on the brunch menu, even if you just have a bite of all. We enjoyed the desserts too, the chef special strawberry rasmalai cheesecake and gooey choco cake with ice cream.
We suggest going for the Sunday brunch (Rs.1200 per person (inclusive of taxes) & Rs.1600 per person (inclusive of taxes and unlimited cocktails) as it offers a chance to try the unlimited options from their elaborate brunch menu. Since its not a buffet, they make order as per your requirement and we assure you that the food they served were freshly prepared and nothing sort of pre-prepared. The dishes ordered took good 15-20 mins to come on the table. The portion size is really small, would suffice just 2 people.

surprisingly this place has seats available, even on a friday evening. we ordered few mocktails, which were average, the margarita with strawberry falvor was like a cough syrup, but the one with lemon was better. Veg starters were yummy, especially Dabeli, Aloo Chaat & Paneer Tikka with burnt garlic. malai kulfi with caramel was average, so was strawberry cheese cake, but the hot brownie with icecream was too good.
We went on a sunday afternoon with my 6 yo along with us. To my surprise this place was not crowded, had great ambience and the best thing was that it was full of books, even for kids. My son got busy reading and I had a quiet lazy lunch with my husband sitting by the window. The staff was very hospitable and the food was not so bad either. Food is indian fusion and dal makhani risotto is something that we liked the most.
Had gone here for office party. Ambiance and music was good. Pizza and Pasta are good to try. Paneer starter are also good to start with. Orange mojito mocktail must try. Overall good experience.

Its a spacious and quiet restaurant, perfect to catch up with friends or to spend quality time with family. The food was good and fairly priced. First we ordered mushroom soup. The texture and taste was very good and was accompanied by mini masala pavs which added an extra oomph to it. Based on the suggestions in previous reviews we ordered tandoori mushroom, delhiwale kulche along with mojito and Margherita mocktail. The tandoori mushrooms were moderately spicy and soft. However the delhiwale kulches were strictly ok while the mocktails were good. Lastly we tried out the tandoori prawn which was perfectly cooked and uniformly flavored.
The staff was courteous and very accommodating. I would like to visit the place again to taste the unique collection of desserts here.
I visited this place on a weekday for dinner. They offered us a special candle light dinner with ' all u you can eat' option. Food was very delicious 😋. Portion size is moderately small. Staff is very courteous. Ambience is great too.

My review stands somewhere between 3.5 to 4. Overall the food is really good but that extra star from my side is definitely for the Gorgeous decor and ambiance of the restaurant. A decor which incorporates books cannot fail to capture my heart.❤
What you MUST order: The Tandoori Stuffed Mushroom with Orange Cheddar Cheese - it was definitely the highlight of the night for me.
What you can avoid:
1. Aloo Chaat - it was extremely basic and honestly cannot hold in a city like Mumbai that thrives on packs-of-flavour aloo chaat street food.
2. The Pizza had an extremely pungent sauce on top of the ingredients (I'm not even sure what it was) @so please request them not to add anything on top. It was awful.
We had booked a reservation via Eazydiner which entitled us to free mocktails. The Wok Tossed Paneer Chilly was YUM and great to order as a second appetizer. We went for an Indian main course. The garlic naan is extremely soft and YUM and I recommend ordering the Paneer Bhurji to complement it!
There variety in the menu even for vegetarians, which I am grateful for!

Chances upon this place while searching for lunch option in Mumbai. We were in a bit of a hurry and the restaurant did a commendable job with serving us quickly. Soup, starters and main course all very very tasty. They also accommodated our request for some non spicy and less oily daal for my daughter and still it tasted good.
Wished v could have spent a little more time soaking in the place and checking out their book collection. A nice place to spend some time with your friends.

Had been to the Place for Brunch with My wife for our Anniversary celebration. Had checked out the reviews on Zomato and it did seem good.
It is situated in the Atria Mall at Worli. Thought expecting the place empty as the Mall was, this place was packed. We had reservations already done.
Even though it was packed the seating were good enough for everyone to have their own privacy. The seating was good with different section for Family, Couples, Gangs and kids.
They also had some good collection of Books. We preferred reading the Brunch Menu instead of the Books. Just to Mention it's a Table Served Brunch. You can order what you would want from the menu and it's served on the Table from Starters to Main course, Sides & Dessert.
The Menu was Good. Infact Great. It had something for everyone. Appetizers was good enough for Vegetarian as well as people who like Chicken or Fish.
The only thing that was of concern was the Quantity served. There were so many options in appetizers and if one wants to try 2-3 it could be a task as the portion served was a lot. Since it's a Brunch and there is no limit, the team should decrease some quantity on few dishes specially the Mushrooms and Fish in order to Avoid wastage. Since some dishes might not be as tasty as they sound on the menu and if it's quantity is excess it would be wasted. Also the pizza could be served in Half and Full so people could opt for Half just to satisfy the taste buds.
We ordered a 4 Meat 4 Cheese pizza and it was awesome. Thin crispy crust with perfect taste of the cheese it is a must try.
The important thing that went missing in the Brunch was the Bakery product. There were no Bakery items on the Menu which would be expected specially in the Brunch. Also, just a single option for Mocktail dint go well. You could at least have 2 different drink probably one with effervescence just to make the Brunch more perfect.
We skipped the Mains and Tried the Biryani. We did skip pasta and sides just to try the Biryani and it dint disappoint us. Again the portion served was on the higher side but the taste was totally worth it.
Desert option were very less just 3. A cheese cake. Malaise kulfi and Chocolate Brownie.
Since I had requested a special Pastry since it was our Anniversary they did serve it us a Strawberry Cheese Cake with a perfect moment to make it special.
The Staff was extraordinarily good and fast. Service was great and speedy. I'm missing out on the name of guys who made the brunch special. But overall team was great from beginning till the end.
Come to the most important part the BILL. Some might feel it on the higher side where as some might find it Fair enough. I think it was a great Brunch and a fair amount of Money spent. Just addition of some. BAKERY PRODUCTS would. Make it the perfect brunch. Some chocolate donuts and cheese croissant can do the Work.
We were a group of 35 including a bunch of super hungry teenage boys. We booked the place and pre-ordered the Pav Bhaji tostadas and Dabeli Pita pockets to start with, Pizzas and Pastas for the main course. Bsides the fact that the portions could have been slightly bigger, we loved the food. Rajesh, the manager there was super helpful in setting up the lunch. We ended the meal with yummy Biryani, and a brownie for a sweet ending. Really good experience!

But because of some confusion that table was given to some1 else, and we were given some other table which was fine with us. However the staff, 1 person in perticular pointed out to us more than couple of times that our new table was a prepaid table. Being a mistake on their end found it extremely weird...

The place definitely lives up to its reputation. Classy ambience, great service, unbelievable food and an altogether fantastic experience. For starters the smoked chili potatoes are a 3.5/5 however the spiked Mexican chicken for the main made me relish each and every bite to the max. It is a great great fusion of different tastes and binds together to come out as a near perfect dish. A must . The sangria was heavenly and went along very well with the meat. For deserts look for none other than the strawberry rasmalai cheesecake. Repeat strawberry rasmalai cheesecake. Mind blowing. Disha Nagarkar

Food quality n flavours are good. We tried herb soup with chicken, tomato basil soup, cuscus with cucumber salad, Malabari lamb with gunpowder uttapam, paneer burji stuffed paratha, dal makhani.
Only downside is service is very slow for a comparatively half empty restaurant and portion size is very small for starters..

The mutton kali mirch came in a thick, creamy, cashew-based gravy but with just four pieces in them. Can't these people spare a few more pieces? So, while it tasted nice - it was on the non-spicy side despite pepper being added to it - it didn't feel like enough was available. Consider ordering two portions of this, if you are a mutton lover. The pepper was used merely as garnish, I think, since it didn't add to the flavour of the masala. The 'harra macchi' was great. Overall, the spinach-coriander based gravy was yum and the pieces of fish were definitely more than the mutton. Didn't feel so ripped-off with this dish.
I really like the Juhu outlet, visited here a couple of days ago, everything else was fine, just the fish tikka was super terrible. The fish had gone brown and wasn't good at all. Bad quality produce. Rest all was okay
Had our diwali party at TSK !!! Great food great ambience!!! Loved they're kaaali daal after long had sucha lovely daal makhani.. service i guess can be improved but guessing diwali time was the reason of lack of staff. But the management took lot of care that our arrangements were in place!! Overall great experience 😊

The Spare kitchen is One of the most versatile restaurants in South Mumbai ! From the diverse flavours, the upmarket presentation and playing, fun interiors to the start attentiveness and VFM aspect TSK scores bit time in all aspects. First up was the Chk ikka with beetroot emlusion and lamb and water chest nut seekh kebab ! Clean flavours and not a single minus point to the dish ! Next up we're some veggie dishes like, idli 65, a vegetarian pizza and a potato cripy chill kinda dish ! The idli and potato had tonnes of taste and we're nice balance between falvour and spice. We also had the streetstlye Chk khepsa rice which did not disappoint one bit. Lastly we had the chocolate gooey dessert and gulab jamun, both extremely heavy and extremely satiating ! A must visit restaurant for food lovers who expect magic on a plate and a lot of surprise elements when the food actually arrives on the table. Kudos to the very attentive from staff and the bartenders. Keep it up !
I ate at The Spare Kitchen when I was in Mumbai about 4 weeks ago. The restaurant is very conveniently located in Worli, right across from Poonam Chambers. It has a muted, mid-century modern ambience, blended in with the comfort of a library...
The food was delicately flavored. It offered an interesting twist on contemporary favorites. It was plated beautifully and the condiments were also perfect, offering tangy and spicy pairings with each dish. The service was courteous, and prompt. I would highly recommend this as a amazing restaurant!
The Spare Kitchen is our go to place when we want to george on some delicious pasta or risotto. The service is good and the staff is friendly too who are always prompt. The ambience is awesome and the best part is their Library, which was the most unusual I found.
Coming to food, we've eaten the Assorted Veg Platter here. Pavbhaji Tostadas, Dabeli Pockets, Coriander Pesto Hummus is a good start to your meals.
We then ate the Ninzaa - Indianised pizza on a naan which was definitely one of the best ever eaten.
Dhabewali Dal Khichdi was just amazing. Jalapeno Cheese Poppers was so so yummy.
We then decided to finish our meal with Chocolate Brownie and Cheese cake which was pleasurable to eat.

Well lit (dim but classy) and well decorated, they have a good set of books you can choose from while you await your order.
They also have quite a few dishes that are available in jain.
We called for the hummus and pita - the pita was really soft and nice and the hummus tasted a bit different than the usual but really good - must try.
We also called for a Veg Burger - it was huge and very filling and was served with fries - also tasted good.
We then called for the pink sauce fusilli pasta topped with black olives - the pasta sauce was thick and consistent - really delicious - must try!
For drinks we had the Orange mojito - good in taste.
However, the elderflower ice tea was not good at all.
For desserts we had the Gooey Chocolate brownie that came with a scoop of ice cream and chocolate sauce - worth every calorie - the brownie melts in the mouth.
Overall a good place to visit though it may be a bit expensive :)

Maintaining their standard, this one also like the Juhu one has great interiors.
Their spagetti pesto was my favourite along with their innovative bites like their chowpatty platter.
Basically along with variation wthere was also innovation and taste offcourse. Must Try!

We tried the staff recommended Wok Tossed Chilli Chicken 😍🙆❤️ and the online reviewed Khakra Nachos (very different and very nice)!
As for main course, the staff member serving us, Rafiq (I think) recommended Methi Laccha Parantha, Water Chestnut Naan and 3 Cheese Kulcha. Along with Kali Mirch Mutton and Coorgi Murgh. They were all Amazing! Especially, the Kali Mirch Mutton!
We also tried their Biriyani. It was pretty decent.

Was absolutely surprised to see this beautiful library 📚 like racking in this restaurant in Atria Mall. The decor is absolute classic with a good view and decent lighting.
The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and guides you well through the menu for food and drink options.
I enjoyed the evening here with my family for a birthday 🎉 celebration.
They made it special with a cheese cake 🎂 and happy birthday music in the background and everyone there singing for us.
The food is just amazing. We were happy with the Indian black Dal ( makhani) and paneer subzi with a variety of breads to choose from.
Tried the mushroom Cappuccino soup which was good with the masala PAv.
The Dabeli was well made - its bread just melts in your mouth.
The nachos (khakahra) were different but nice. Six khakharas with light melted cheese with beans on top. Served with melted cheese separately and red chutney were tasty and seemed healthy than the regular Nachos.
The cheese cake was delicious 😋. Not too sweet and just perfectly soft.
I recommend this place with friends and family.

Went there for Sunday brunch on a rainy day and had an amazing time with my friends. The staff is great and so is the chef Somil Shah. The spread of starters was never ending and it was great with a different twist to every dish. It's either given a modern twist to Indian dishes or its deconstructed. After the starters we had very little scope to eat anything more as we had to leave some space for dessert :) but the super chef insisted we try something out from the main course so we called for biryani and jeera rice with dal makhani. Again it was just fab ! To end with the desserts, nothing to fault !
The ambience is great with the concept of a library. They have a wide range of books that you can pick from. The also have high tea in the evenings which is next on my list. Kudos to the great chef Somil Shah
Landed on a weekday for lunch. The place was practically empty. Loved the style of seating with different sections giving a greater sense of privacy. Book lovers can also pick up books to read while they wait for food. We liked the exotic veg khichdi and the basa in lemon garlic butter sauce. The paneer quesadilla and peri peri chicken were not great. The sauce in chicken was quite tasty, but the pieces were not great... So finally the dish didn't sit well in our tummies.
Have been here for couple of times. Generally it is not very crowded during the afternoons. The service is quick and prompt. The food looks good and taste even better. You may observe their peculiarities about food presentation and styling. They make the regular old food look good. Overall a good place to spend time with family and friends.

5 of us wanted to try out a new place for get together. Located at Atri mall, its a very cozy place. Its huge and can accommodate large groups as well. First thing to notice is that you will see books on walls, really nice.
5 of us could sit very comfortably and have good conversation, there was large group next to us but the acoustics of the place are very nice and it was not bothering us.
Food in general was nice popcorn chicken was our favorite and so was the cheese pizza. Kheema naan was another thing to try out here.
My only disappointment was that they don't have Miller on the menu, same old boring beers. Must visit place
A place which can be rated good on all aspects...Good ambience, quality food, friendly staff, good music and would definitely recommend the place to friends. The staff was helpful in deciding the food, the food that we ordered was delicious. We started with some masala fries, wok tossed paneer chilli, paneer quesadillas n hummus. Hummus was different than other places but it was good. Then we moved in to main course where we ordered dal makhani n corgi paneer. The paneer was yummy with different masalas n spices than our regular paneer kadai or paneer tikka masala. N then came the time for dessert but by now we were full. So we ordered just 1 dessert that was vanilla panna cota n it just melted in the mouth leaving behind mild taste of vanilla n fennel seeds...Our tummies were full but yeh dil mange more....We would want to visit the place again for sure. Just that we felt that the portions were small but overall feeling was amazing.
Beautiful Ambience, you do not feel like leaving the restaurant, got great cocktails and awesome food. Service was timely too. Waiting to go back.
A beautiful done place with classy ambience situated in the deserted Atria Mall in Worli. I love the presentation and the unique Menu combinations that this place offers will take you by surprise.

2. Khakra Nachos with Mexican Beans and Cheese Sauce
3. Batata Wada Paratha
They also serve mouthwatering Thin crust Pizzas
Even their Global cuisine is worth a mention right from Steaks to Sri Lankan Fish Curry

Now known as the South Bombay Bar, this place is the perfect blend for the south and the suburban crowd. The Bar is designed a class apart. Some great changes in the made in the menu, the food is yummylicious and good value for money. You get Italian to streetside to punjabi... the only restuarant to offer some natural, fresh made mocktails (no syrup and no sugar)... a must go
I visited this place on a weekday for dinner. They offered us a special candle light dinner with ' all u you can eat' option. Food was very delicious 😋. Portion size is moderately small. Staff is very courteous. Ambience is great too.

Loved the interiors , especially the ceiling and the entire concept . Menu was different , food was good but little taste was missing ya but not bad . Definitely good for ppl who want to sit n have a relax dinner with less crowd.
Great ambience for those who like loud music. Spacious place, nice lighting. Food quality and taste are good. Don’t forget to order as many starters as possible, which is their specialty. Indian, continental, Mumbai snacks like Mini Vada Pav in starters, and many other varieties available. Can be frequently visited. In tune with their Juhu joint by the same name. Tip: Parking charges will be borne by them. :P
