Best place to eat snacks. I love everything about this place. Its quality, quantity, service, taste, everything is just too perfect. You have to visit this place.
Hill road in bandra is well known for its shopping and one of the places to have a quick snack amidst the shopping is amrut sagar.. this is a fast food restaurant which serves a variety of snacks and at reasonable prices..
Things i have tried over the past few visits:
1) butter dosa - one of my favorites is butter dosa.. this dosa is crispy and buttery as it can be.. simple yet delicious..
2) pav bhaji - one of the fast selling items of this place is the pav bhaji.. prepared nice and hot, this pav bhaji is mild spicy with a good amount of butter and the breads are well buttered too.. this is available in jain too for the jain people..
3) chaat - when it comes to chaat there are a few selected places only that i eat from and this is one of them.. the sev Puri and the pani puri both nice and spicy.. dahi puri too is made very tasty..
4) chilly paneer - since i am a Chinese lover o thought of trying this dish at amrut sagar.. i was a little hesitant while ordering but when the dish came it was not at all bad!
This restaurant provides good quality snacks at reasonable prices..

Noodles dosa is all time favourite
Visited this one a few months ago - enjoyed the dosa and pav bhaji .. but it was too noisy and crowded .. also, the lighting and decor could be a little better as it's too bright and noisy .. apart from that, food was good and service was prompt!!
Quick service, tasty food. keep it up
Buzzing on a Saturday evening ! Not much of an ambience. But the food is fab ! Kudos for that. We tried the pani puri , idli and vada dipped in sambar, pizza and pav bhaji. What I loved abt the pav bhaji was it was yummm no doubt , and they don’t add color to it, unlike other places where you get served red pav bhaji ! Everything except the pizza was great. Looking forward to coming back for more . Pro’s - this place is open till 1am through out the week!
We went to Hill Road for shopping
And we saw this restaurant decided to try food over here
This place is quite crowded everytime
We ordered
1. Masala Dosa
2. Manchurian Noodles
Unique dish we saw was triple noodles / rice
We ll order next time we go
If you are going Hill Road for shopping do visit this place.
It's been more than 10 years i have been visiting this place ... The taste of masala pav and pav bhaji is still the same. I have been shopping from hill road and also used to go clubbing at pulse or rude. Everytime I'm hungry would visit this place for a masala pav or pav bhaji. The rates are economical and affordable. I love the ambience and aura of this place. After shopping this is the best place to have masala pav .. do visit this place and share ur views
Ambience:- one of the most comfortable places with good exhaust system and great ventilation. A perfect seating for couples, families and singles like us.
Food:- The places serves the best pav bhaji in bandra and top class masala pav. Also, masala dosa is nice ... I have been eating it for more than 10 years ... The taste is still the same and it's mesmerizing. The butter pav bhaji deserves a 10 with a perfect blend of all ingredients.
Conclusion:- waiting to try more of this place... Would visit here when I'm in bandra
Roaming around the streets of bandra, looking out for some pure vegetarian fast food restaurant, we came across this place, situated at the main road of Hill road, bandra.

Amrut Sagar is a pure vegetarian restaurant located right opposite Marks and Spencer in Hill road. Being in the prominent area it is always bust and it would take a little while for you to get a seat. After you are done with your shopping spree this is the perfect and affordable place for you to hog in to your food.
We ordered
*Veg Triple Fried rice- Can never go wrong with this dish. A bowl of rice and noodles along with Manchurian balls and gravy. Perfect taste
*Mysore Masala Dosa- Amrut sagar serves rrally amazing south Indian food. Mysore masala is one of them.
*Onion Tomato Uttapam- soft and yummy. It was served with sambhar and chutney.
Cheese pav bhaji is the best of all here....don't miss out pav bhaji here....heaven it is!
It's one of those places where you get more or less everything.. you know...chat, south Indian, pav bhaji, falooda, sandwiches, even desi pizza.
The restaurants fairly new yet was packed with patrons, mostly Hill Road shoppers but the tables are nicely placed so one gets that sense of space.
I like desi pizza so ordered one. It was really nice, crisp base, crisp cheese.. if you've had that before, you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't you could try it here.! Also ordered rava dosa. It stayed crispy right till the last bite. Chai and filter coffee were okay.
Service was surprisingly quick considering that the restaurant was full. Our server was polite and attentive.
Hill road does have many restaurants but this is one of those few restaurants you can just go to for a not very hurried yet not very leisurely meal, not rasta-sasta but not bank breaking either.
PS : It's a vegetarian restaurant.
First of all its very nice restuarant. We ordered batata dahi puri it was for 100rs i found it quite expensive but when it was worth because it is so heavy and tasty which is sufficient for 2 people atmost.
The place was very nice And clean . Everything was very tasty over there especially dahi batata puri. Though it was quite expensive bt was too heavy so it is worth putting money.

Also the kulfi and South Indian here is really amazing!

During my office hours,
Ordered triple schewan rice from this outlet for my lunch , delivery was on time.
Pacakging was good but could have been better.
This place is purely a standard indian food joint serving various cuisines.
The prices here are on vfm side, the rice was pretty good for the price but not the best.
However i had kept minimal expectations from it.
Liked it somehow.
It's a 4/5 sort of dish.

Though this a vegetarian restaurant but it has this unique essence and the india feel to it. Running since decades it hasn't compromised its taste even a bit.
Oh WOW. These Dragon Noodles are my new favorite quick fix! They only take about 15 minutes to make, they’re totally rich, flavorful, and SUPER SPICY. Like, “burn a hole through your stomach” spicy. Call me crazy, but sometimes I want that. No, I crave that.
So, this one goes out to all of you heat seekers!

Very well managed and great ambiance. Friendly environment and amazing service. Very fulfilling food and amazing dish. All around I love it and would like to visit again.
Very visibly located in the market area of hill road, this place offers multi cuisine dishes at very reasonable rates. After a couple of visits, I can say that each dish over here is good.
Specially liked the Chinese spread - manchow soup, spring roll, crispy veg, chilly paneer and also pav bhaji and pizza. Also liked the falood over here. Sandwiches can be given a miss though.
Amrut Sagar is the best fast food restaurant at Hill Road Bandra West near elco.
They only serve fast food and it attracts a lot of crowd every day.
Be it their South indian food or pav bhaji or pizza, everything is really very well prepared and tasty. The best is their Chinese food which is amazing. Then there is chaat, juices and ice cream.
The hotel is only non-ac, but is very nicely done and comfortable and the service is quick.

Amrut veg restaurant is an ideal place to dine in in midst of street shopping at hill road. This place is normally packed and busy.
South Indian food served here is our favourite of all, especially the ‘Masala dosa’. We also tried ‘Pav bhaji’ which was equally tasty. The pav is buttered and tastes so good with the buttery pav bhaji. The service is quick and the ambience is lovely too. 🍽
Amazing place to visit the staffs r very mannered and polite amazing food and also in a reasonable rate .Hope to visit the place soon but the place should be well maintained there r mosquito a lot in this place do make the changes as soon as possible if this problem is solved then the place is a 5 star place .I would love to suggest people this place .Hope to visit the place soon
One of my last meals in Mumbai. A typical restaurant serving great food. We ordered Masala Dosa, Paneer Chilly Dry, Pav Bhaji and Bombay Veg Sandwich.
-Masala Dosa- the dosa was perfect. It was thin and crispy just as a dosa should be. The accompanying coconut chutney was delicious.
- Paneer Chilly Dry- this was a winner. It was perfect for a starter with just the right amount of tangyness and masala topped by crispy capsicum and thin onion slices.
-Pav Bhaji and Bombay Veg Sandwich was good as well. No Complaints there.
All in all, great vegetarian food.
Its a good and reasonably priced restaurant located on hill road Bandra!
Not a fancy dinner place but has a good ambience and good service,
Loved the steam idli and filter coffee♥️

One of the oldest restaurant on Hill Road. It has gone many changes in its location, ambiance, but food and service are the same as always.
A lot of people enjoy the food here after their shopping on hill road. It is always crowded, but they have also maintained their speed of service.
Inexpensive and perfect for quick lunch/dinner or afternoon cravings.
I had been to this fast food restaurant on a weekend and even though all the tables were full the staff made it a point to not ignore any customers and the service was excellent. We had ordered onion uttappa, idli wada sambar and masala dosa. The taste was superb and the staff also offered us extra sambar and chutney which made us really happy. The staff was really polite and happy to serve their customers which all restaurants must follow. I would definitely recommend all my family & friends to visit this restaurant.

Amrut Sagar is a very old restaurant at Hill road and has changed alot over the years. I was a kid when I lasted visited it, this time lucky got a chance to visit it on Christmas Eve.
As usual the restaurant was flooded with people. But the staff was equally attentive and quick in service. Got a place really soon and order came even more quickly.
Ordered -
1) Pav Bhaji
A perfect pav Bhaji with lots of butter and a perfect balance of taste in Bhaji
2) Manchurian Rice
Fried rice with Manchurian. The quantity was really good, the Manchurian balls were fresh. A really good combo for 2 people
3) Basket Sev Puri
The name of the dish made me order it. But the emotion after eating and seeing it were mixed, happy about the taste but disappointing because of the quantity.
Found it to be comparatively high priced then usually sev Puri
Overall a good experience, I personally recommend Manchurian Rice

Love this restaurant. It never let's me down. Pani puri here is the best I have tasted. Try their pav sandwich - it's a little heavy with the butter but very tasty.
It was great being there. This resto is really very nice and famous. It is crowded everytime.
You should try the royal falooda and the combination rice.
Overall the environment and the service is good

The vegetables are amazing and pav bhaji is delicious with butter pav. And the end the strawberry falooda ice-cream and watermelon juice is best to end the meal. Hence i suggest people to visit this place.
The staff is very cooperative. They allowed us to celebrate the birthday and to bring in the cake from outside, they provided us knife & matchbox. We ordered kulfi and idli sambhar and it was awesome. The place is cool and fab!
On a tight budget but really want top notch Chaat and dosas whilst being able to reminisce the specials from school? Look no further as amrut Sagar is here with a rather godly Chinese bhel that is bound to blow your mind no matter what your expectations may be.

Amrut sagar is a good family restaurant for yummy South Indian food. Restaurant is open on all days and that makes advantage for weekend visitors to Bandra area.
Shopping streets are also nearby so anybody plan to have a day trip and shopping near/ around bandra can surely visit amrut sagar for breakfast/ lunch..
It was Sunday early morning we went for breakfast after our Safari meetup drive and majority of other restaurants were closed but Amrut sagar was the right choice we got..
Car Parking is a concern on that area during rush hours. Since we went early morning we got enough space on opposite side of restaurant for Parking. If you going for brunch/ lunch then parking would be critical concer as they don't have any Valet parking.
Good and crowded restaurant in Alcho market Bandra west! Its always crowded! Relish pav bhaji, idli Wada, dosa etc and juices here! Tasty food and clean an hygienic ambience with cooperative staff! Must try once!
This is my favourite restaurant at hill road since my college days. And taste is same throuout years.

Food is tasty. The quantity and quality of food is really good. Service is bit late. It takes time for the food to arrive. Getting a seat could be difficult during rush hours. I had pav bhaji and paneer tawa pulav. Both were tasty and good quantity. Their chinese and south indian items also look good. Overall a really good experience.
A fantastic restaurant to satisfy your taste buds. The panipuri was yum and Dahi batata poori was super duper good.
