Renowned for its lip-smacking vegetarian food at affordable prices, B Bhagat Tarachand is a must visit place whenever you happen to be in/around the Inorbit Mall.
I had ordered the Fresh Combo C, which was awesome both in terms of quantity and quality. The sweetness of Paneer Makhanwala and Moong Dal Halwa was the highlight for me. The service was pretty quick too; received my order in about 5 minutes. And priced at Rs 340, it is surely a great deal a hardcore foodie can have.

Bhagat Tarachand being an oldest brand still has managed to survive at the Top when it comes to Indian Food. Probably this is one of the few good restaurants who's matched up good quality with standards.
We had special thali which included
Paneer masala, bhindi, butter chapati, papad chura,dal-rice,rabdi and chaas. Even the veg platter was good which included achari aloo,paneer tikka, hara-bhara kebab and veg seekh kebab.
The seating area at Vashi Inorbit is super spacious. Service is quick.
Good food. Aloo paratha was good, hot, stuffing just right with raita and pickle. Food meal option 4 paneer, jeera rice roti chaas papad just right for one person.
Prompt delivery with a buzzer given to you for your order.
Go to place when we are in the mall and in a mood to have Desi pocket friendly food. Recently went into mall and ordered Hyderabadi Biryani. Decent quantity and good taste.
Tarachand bhagat is one of my favorite hotels in mumbai because it has the best food menu and with amazing taste

1) Fresh Combo - A
This combo was perfect for 2.... The food items included in this combo : Dal Fry, 2 chapatis, rice, papad, Chaas, aloo-fry, sev tomato bhaji, Gulab jamun....
It will definitely please your tastebud and full your stomach....
2) Dal Pakwan
This is must try delicacy.... A sindhi food item... Made of Dal served with hard bread type called Pakwan...
So if you want to try some authentic food delicacies, do visit this place...
When I came to Navi Mumbai 12 years ago, Bhagat Tarachand was THE place to have awesome daal roti sabzi outside of your own home. Once the branches multiplied in this part of town, the quality dipped a bit.
Even then, whenever we are at Inorbit for a shopping spree and need a quick bite in between, it’s Bhagat Tarachand that we go to! I can never have enough of their ‘special’ ghee laden chapati, and the finger-licking-good special tadka dal! Just the thought makes my mouth water!
The other two must haves here are their masala chhaas and their rabdi. However, they could do with making their sabzis a bit better though. Last time I had makki roti and sarson saag there, and the saag tasted more like regular palak and less sarson.
Still, there’s always the daal roti... YUMMM!
Located in the Inorbit Mall in Vashi, I found the chaat pricing here far more affordable than Kailash Parbat. The chat tastes pretty good, although I do have a valid question- can one ever go wrong with chaat?

Ragda Pattice is a tongue tickling dish, made in combination of two things - Ragda which is cooked white peas in a delicious & spicy gravy of tamarind mixed with jaggery & Pattice which nothing but mashed potatoes made hot & crispy on tawa topped up with mix of desi spices.

Recently had this beauty @kbhagattarachand outlet @inorbitmall Vashi food court. The Ragda was tangy, spicy & delicious. Pattice was hot & crispy. This dish was good enough for me & sorted my dinner.

‘B Bhagat Tarachand’ - located at the 2nd floor of Inorbit Mall, Vashi at a distance of around 200 metres from the Vashi Railway Station.
As it is situated inside a mall, there is no specific space allotted to this outlet. So one has to struggle to find a place to sit and enjoy the meal.
We tried Aloo Paratha which was served with Chhole, Boondi Raita and Pickle.
Bhagat Tarachand is very much famous for it’s taste, so as usual it was delicious.😋

The best place to have Amras Puri.. all natural and pure. If you are a Mango lover don't miss out on this, do have this dish if you happen to visit Inorbit and how can you forget Pani Puri being a Mumbai lover... wow... just amazing...
Had food here since a long time now.... very similar to the original which I have reviewed much earlier.... this one happens to be in a food court... but still super food... good speed of delivery.... I guess they pioneered the small square blob which lights up when your delivery is ready.... worth a visit
The outlet is situated on the second floor which is a food court of the mall...the best place to have Punjabi cuisine...they hv the best combos, lassi n butter milk..they also have chaat counter, which serves delicious chaat..the lassi and butter milk they serve is lip smacking..
This food joint is located at the second floor of the popular inorbit mall. The seating space is commonly shared with other food joints. Coming to the food, I had ordered Food combo - A. Food in the combo was sufficient for meal for one person. Their special roti was soft and good. Rice and daal fry were good in taste. Overall good place to have food with friends. Not very pocket friendly but we can drop this point for the quality of food and location.

Alu fry is an successful attempt of indian version of french fries.
Also tried paneer tikka biryani which was tad oily and had huge chunks of capsicum and onions but the taste was great.
Dahi wadas are light soft and one should try sweet salty mix to get the best of both worlds 😍
Went on weekend with family. Wanted to have light dinner. The place didn't disappoint. Food was good. Variety wasnt much though. Ordered roti, sabji, paneer bhurji, chaas. Everything seemed fresh. The price again is reasonable and will cost 500 bucks for 2 people.
BCTC stays true to its name and fame and offers almost similar tasting food what it offers at their main restaurant. Their USP has always been the Special Ghee Chapati along with their Shev Bhaji and the buttermilk to boot with it. No one can math their taste. It is close to what ur wife or mother will prepare. Their service is also fast with courteous staff. Although the portion size has reduced. Less value for money.

A chip of the old block and more of a serving place this one....they dont offer all thats available in the regular Bhagat TC as they dont make it here...if you want to enjoy the BTC food, goto the original place which is a stones throw from the mall and enjoy...if you want to still live in the memory of the original and dont have time then this one is as good as it gets....They dont have Karela though let me warn you...the rest is fine
Bhagat Tarachand is famous for its vegetarian food, especially for the dal tadka and their chaas. Also unlike other restaurants they serve chapati which i can say is their USP. Not only it is about menu, it is about preparation and taste. They prepare it so well that it tastes as it is meant to be. Whenever i visit the place i always order dal tadka.
As this is outlet is located in the food court, nothing else could be said about the service and the ambience.
Just like their many other outlets this has amazing punjabi food but the speciality about this outlet is their chaat items. The Pani Puri is one of the top 5 we have had we never miss to have one round whenever we are at Inorbit Mall. Their other chaat times like the Tikki chole, Samosa Chaat,Bhel and Sev Puri are also very nice. A must try for the chaat times.

Theirs is an established name when it comes to pure veg Indian food and I suggest one sticks to that only. I have had their Dal-Chapati-Pulav-Veg Kolhapuri-Gulab Jamun combo meal quite some time back and it was lip smacking PLUS so value for money. But this time, I was with my office colleagues, and just wanted some nice snack, so I ordered for a veg cheese sandwich which was HUGE in terms of quantity but so overly salty :( Had to make it normal tasting by adding loads of ketchup. It was still huge and perfect snack item for 3 light eaters (not including me since I stopped eating after 1st morsel but they liked it after adding loads of ketchup!)
Except for the salt issue, the sandwich was good, they had put in slices of cucumbers and tomatoes plus a generous sprinkling of cheese on top that made it look appealing and a good enough mashed potatoes filling. Plus they have a wonderful pudina-dhaniya chutney that they serve alongside, just the way our moms make at home :) But I think I would be sticking to their veg meal combos the next time I am in the area!
I tried panner tikaa biryani here... taste was good even quantity was well enough... nice 1 one should try this when no other option bounces on ur mind while roaming in inorbit
Great place to have very economical veg food. Bhindi masala here is amazing, really. Daal, sabji all r great. Fell in love with their simple still very tasty food. Strongly recommended.
What's to distinguish one Indian food restaurant from the other, specially in a mall food court? Well, bhagat tara hand has plenty starting with its fantastic dal and its ghee laden paper thin rotis. Also famous is their bottled chaas and my personal favourite - papad churi. It's crisp papad crushed and mixed with caramelised onions, coriander and spices, a fitting companion to the aforesaid dal and roti. If you still have space, make way to the counter again and get yourself one of their gulab jamuns or excellent rabdi.

It is the best place to have veg food.They have a quick service and have token system in which the light flashes in token once the order is ready.This actually saves time and effort to track ones order.

went here with family, the food is amazing the service is quick. food is served ref hot. variety in food, they have a proper system to serve where they do not disturb the customers. ambiance is very much family like. the chaas is as always yummy. i had the opportunity to taste the pani puri which was yum. and then they have dhoklas,moongdaal halwa, papad churma, rasgullas , gulab jamun and what not to take you to disneyland.
Recently had a lunch over here. We ordered paneer palak with chapathi, paneer biryani and a veg pulav. The taste was really good, felt like a homemade food, worth an eat. Service is really good.
This place is full paisa vasool! I am a big fan of their thali. You will generally have to wait before you could get a table but it will be worth a wait!
Love his pani puri sooo much...usually I am fan of his food..loved his chass as usual...would not mind trying out some more items although looking forward to visit one of his restaurants..

If you are in Inorbit mall & want to have quality North Indian food without putting much dent on our pocket then BTC is the best option available as it provides quality and taste food and that too in good quantity.

If you are looking to have delicious Indian cuisine which won't put a dent on ur pocket then this is the place...thali combos are nice...chaas and mung dal halwa are very good..food is packed with calories though and is obviously oily but trust me it's totally worth it...you can make this ur cheat meal for the week..
I have been to all Bhagat Tarachand outlets..however, I feel that this one is the best. Awesome food for vegetarians. While I have tried some ala carte dishes, the thali is the best dish here. The food is amazingly fresh and tasty...the only downer is that you cannot relax and enjoy the food as the outlet is in a food court !!
It's the best food among the inorbit mall food court in vashi... If you feeling hungry just go and grab something!!!

A good thali with delicious sev tomato, bhindi and special rotis dipped in pure ghee. Its heaven for people living in hostels and eating messing food!
The meal starts with papad churri followed by sev tomato, bheendi or paneer. The Rotis are dipped in desi ghee and are very tasty. Daal is also very good and feels so home made. Rice is okayish and can be skipped. The meal ends with mung daal ka sheera or rabdi, which is again delicious!

I have been a regular at Bhagat Tarachand since the time it started in inorbit..... It was one of the restaurants which was opened when the mall opened.....
During the initial days, the person at the counter would call and invite people people to try their food. We hesitated at first but since the first time I tried their food, I have become a big fan. Since then, I am a regular at any of the branches of BT. If its BT, the food would definitely be good without any doubt.
I have tried their tandoori platter which is yummyyyy. The phulkas are super soft and laden with ghee(even if you order a plain phulka,its very soft and good). Their combo meals are too good and comprise a wholesome meal with dal,3 phulkas,rice,sabzi,sweet,salad and chaas. The combo meals are sufficient for 2,just order extra phulkas. Moong dal halwa is a must have.Everything I had until now was damn tasty - dal,paneer bhurji, fried bhindi,fried aloo,tandoori platter,paneer makhanwala, lasooni palak, papad churi,etc. etc.
Being in a food court,its difficult to find a place to sit especially in evenings and on weekends.
The staff is good and helps you in selecting items according to your taste.
The service is quick even when there is a lot of crowd.
BT has been my favorite since the time I tried it, so much that I gave them the order to do catering on my wedding(zaveri bazaar branch)
The prices are average considering the quantity and taste of food
I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for tasty homely food and definitely not heavy on the pocket.

If you are on veg diet, then this is one of the best place to be to satisfy your taste buds. People on diet beware coz the food here is high on calories but yummily irresistible.. The must try is the mind blowing "moong daal ka halwa" (drooling) and "masala chaas" (I can gulp the entire bottle). As for your pocket, it does not make a big hole.
Amazing tasty food. Always went there or took a take away after a long day at work. Just like homemade. People there almost familiar. Thali is awesome n my regular take away was bhindi fry. Malai kofta is the best I ever had. Only wish they would home deliver Vashi n elsewhere.

For veggies this place Is a Devine. Excellent food. Correct spices added for the food to taste excellent. I have been going there from 13 years and trust me you can't get bored of this place. The Paneer tikka masala is something you should try if you are planning to go there. Great place to go with family. Thank you!!!!!
Everything here is good, fresh and tasty food, the oil can decrease a bit in some places. The Khichdi with a special onion tadka is a notable dish if you specifically order for it, the rotis and vegetables are the real heroes. A must for all vegetarians.

I think wherever i have eaten Indian food till its been looking delicious but i get full immediately after i start eating but here in Bhagat Tarachand you keep eating and stomach gets full gradually which proportional to the amount you've eaten. Same way is with the home cooked food so this shows the food is very freshly and perfectly cooked.
Chaas is their top takeaways i guess. It seems they have made chaas as their brand ambassador so do hit on that (highly recommended). Palak Paneer didnt taste that good to me comparatively with their other veggies on the menu.
Speed of preparing the order is remarkable considering the items which they offer and their quality.
Bottom line is - if you want to have lunch or dinner outside and not in a restaurant then its the best place to have it and moreover with such affordable rates in comparison to a restaurant.
Overall a good experience and value for money!!
Whenever I go to Inorbit Mall and I am in some mood for Indian Food or some Ghar Ka Khana...This is the place. They have an amazing thali which is very reasonable in price and very filling. The food is great and prepared fast. The service may get a little slow sometimes, but the great food more than compensates or it. There is no ambiance as you have to eat in the food court only, but the food court is good and has a nice seating arrangement and its very clean too!!

Acclaimed for years for its super quick service and delicious vegetarian fare, Bhagat Tarachand is recommended by a lot of foodies. The ambiance is nothing fancy and the place is primarily known for its Thalis.
I found their service very very explicit and organised among all the other outlets in the food court.. they have invented this unique device which u carry along with u to ur table and wait for the other to arrive with ur companions and u get a signal in this device saying ur order is ready when the ligts turn on in the device. Extremely delightful to see this...
coming to the food, very good menu of combos, first i thought of the 129/- combo then though 149/- and then 159/- finally went with the 159/- as there was jus a matter of 10/- . the food tasted decent probly thats the only parameter where i would rate it less than others, less waiting time , good quantity and good value.. so ya bhagat tarachand lives up to the name..

If u look at menu, u would find it as one among many...but the look and taste of these items are quite different......Yellow Chilli( hiranandani powai) and BT is a must visit resturants.
