Have been a regular visitor here and much has been said about this restaurant already and I am only going to re-iterate some of the points:-
Ambience: No other establishment in the city can beat the ambience here. It only goes to show how much joy nature can give us when we are with our loved ones and why we should keep our beloved city green.
*HOWEVER - They have started to screen IPL matches on projector and relay the commentary on loudspeakers. In my opinion with a USP of being right in between the city's only wilderness why should they aspire to be a loud sports bar? People would (and should) appreciate the total electronic disconnect (at least I do)
The above was the only reason for us to choose the A/C seating (instead of outdoor) where it was much quieter this time
Service: Slightly slow but no one in their right mind should demand their orders to be served quickly in such a place
Maintenance: This is another point where the place fails. The age has started to show if one knows where to look (especially the wash-rooms which are akin to those at a truck stop). Management should pay more attention in this area including the tables and upholstery in the A/C seating area

Went to AAREY GARDEN RESTAURANT on a weekday for dinner.
FOOOOD FIRSTTT!!!!!
We had
1. CHINESE MOONG SALAD- Talking about the quantity first, it was great for 4 people. The slightly crisp moong sprouts with a Chinese based mix was something I never imagined to taste this good. A bit on spicier side, a great dish to start with.
2. CHICKEN MANCHOW SOUP- served at the right temperature and with crisp fried noodles. It had adequate seasoning of garlic and chillies and minced chicken. Again, good.
3. PANEER CHUTNIWALA- I now realize that the quantity served here is quite good. This had 8 good pieces of chunky fresh paneer with tomato and capsicum pieces to add to the quantity. Served with green mint chutney, this one is a delicacy.
4. CHICKEN CRISPY- this was a bit of a disappointment for me. The chicken pieces as compared to other places was quite less considering it to be a crispy dish. also, if u ignore the quantity, the chicken was too oily, also the taste was ok ok. But the oil and cornstarch cover dominated the taste.
5. BUTTER CHICKEN- for main course we had this evergreen butter chicken. Just the way I like it, with a hint of sweetness and spices balanced, this dish was great with KULCHA Or ROOMALI ROTI.
6. MIX VEG PARATHA- average dish, filled with veggies but it did not bind with the stuffings. The filling was bland and u needed some gravy to dip it which otherwise is considered to be a meal itself. Also I would recommend them to serve with curd.
7. EGG BIRYANI- served with raita. We asked them to serve the biryani bit more with gravy and that was exactly the way we wanted. So quite happy that they customize a bit according to our taste and preference.
8. SIZZLING BROWNIE WITH ICECREAM- for dessert we had brownie.

The place is located in the outskirts of Goregaon it is difficult to find the place but as u reach there u will find greenery and many such flower over there the taste of the food was amazing . Enjoying good food in a good atmosphere and greenery is a place in heaven for the mumbaiker

Great place with good ambience. Not so easy to reach but its worth trying. Ordered chicken sandwich which took almost 30 mins to serve but it was worth waiting.
The place is really cool and its surrounded by nature which makes the mind really calm.

A very simple place, they have a huge dining open air dining area and a relatively smaller AC section. Went on a Sunday afternoon and surprisingly the restaurant was completely empty. The food is strictly above average, nothing great but nothing from what we ordered was bad as such. The quantity is pretty decent too. Service is quick, you can carry your own booze to this place, they charge a very nominal corkage fee of 200rs per bottle / 100rs for half and 50 for quarter.

This place is right in the middle of Aarey, getting to this place and traveling back is an issue if Uber/Ola not available. Overall a very good ambiance, they have a huge property and you have lots of different types of seating area available. The drop in temperature and the silence makes the atmosphere of the place perfect to sit with your friends and chat. The best part of this restaurant is you can carry your own liquor bottle and enjoy their services by paying a minimal corkage. So if you have a good bottle and want to enjoy it with your friends then this place is perfect and the atmosphere of this place is an added advantage.
The service here is good too, the waiters and the head waiters always available when needed and friendly. The food tastes good however its charged a little higher. But considering the whole place and the fact that you can carry your liquor its not so bad.

At first, we didn't believe there could be a resto amidst the jungle. But then, once we reached there we were like 'whoaa.' The place has an indoor as well as outdoor seating arrangement. It's a beautiful space nestled with greenery that actually serves the best starters menu. Do try their cheese-garlic naan and chicken tandoori. And guess what? The ambience doesn't get any better. Right in the heart of Aarey Milk Colony, in lush green surroundings. Beautiful setting- although a little extra direction signages would've helped.
Food is fantastic. I tried the safer bet of Indian non veg food instead of Chinese. They give you an option of desi murgi as well and the food was simply fresh and yummy. Definitely a hidden gem worth exploring.

I'd been hearing about this place for a long time for at least 5-6 yrs but had never got an oppty to go there. It's in between the Aarey colony on a hill surrounded by greenery. They have an AC section n outside open section. If goin all the way to this place why sit in the AC. Even outside they have a family n a bachelors section. This is more of bachelors drinking place. They don't sere liquor but the best part is you can get your own booze.
The food was really nice. We ordered the Desi Chicken Masala dry n had asked him 2 make it spicy, it was super hot but yum. Also the mutton masala sukha was nice. Other tit bits ordered also were well prepared like boiled Chana masala, Cheese cherry pineapple, masala papad.
Overall nice food, I'll definitely visit again.
If ur drinking don't drive to this place you'll definitely be caught. Ola: Uber is avail from the place to return. Ricks might not be easily available.

The setup of Aarey Garden is like a Dhaba in middle of the jungle of Aarey colony. Locating this place at night can be a challenge and come here in your own vehicle bcz you won't get an auto at night from here. Has both a/c and non-a/c sections though nothing much to talk about the ambience.
Now comes the best part!! You can get your own alcohol:) so drink as much as you can. The food here is good especially non-veg. There's live ghazal performances at night that let you enjoy your drink. I prefer to go there in winters and take a table in the open air section.
Want to drink like a tank with amazing food to support your system , this is the place.
Difficult to locate but worth the effort..
Note: do not attempt drinking even a drop of alcohol if you plan to drive out from here... The security check is really bad

A lovely place located in the only greeny place of Mumbai ( The Arrey Colony ). The place is some what like the dhaba filing with hot & mouth watering food deliciously prepared. Place good place who loves to drink , here you can carry in your own bottle of your choice order for ice bucket with some nominal charge along with the great food. This make your evening great with no comprise on drink selection with the awesome food in nice pleasant atmosphere of greenery with jungle effect of bird making noise. To start with...It’s little difficult to find the place. We came to know about this place through a friend and so we decided to try it out of course with little hesitation since its zomato page does not give you much info and proper idea of this place. But once we reached the place we were amazed… as we enter we heard classic ghazal and were wondering whose playing and the waiter said they often have ghazal mehfils ain’t that amazing?
There are three sections one for family one for people who are drinking and an AC section, all nicely placed.
We got comfortable in a while and then it comes down to the food. They have good variety in Indian food especially Non-Veg. We ordered some veg & Non veg dishes and they all were great, delicious... We ordered Non Veg platter and that was one of the nicest one I have had then a veg starter oriental roll and I recommend this to you all as my friend who doesn’t like veg food said that this is the most amazing veg starter he has had... then we moved on to mains with gravy and rotis and they weren’t disappointing either also ordered for a refreshment drink Kiwi Cooler and it was refreshing for sure… friendly staff and service is notably quick. AND Reasonable prices, for 5 us the bill was 2500 and that's value for money...
Really loved the place... Would definitely recommend trying it out once... The whole ambience is really different from the usual restaurants in Mumbai.

Highly recommended place for guys who are looking out for a evening with drinks in a garden restaurant. Place is quite big and its an open air restaurant and the ambience is simply superb a chilly evening. You have to carry your own drinks here as they don't keep drinks. Food is really good especially the starters we had chicken platter, mandeli fry, avoid chinese dish such as chicken crispy. Dal khicdi is also good. Prices are ok as you cannot get the open air experience which you will get here. We really had a good time here, will definitely visit again. Difficult to get an auto so we booked an uber ride.

Quite impressed with the ambiance. Open lawn different cubic arranged greenery everywhere beautiful lightning and a singer to give all those alcoholic a kick with his old songs. He does sing well when it comes to songs from jagjit Singh but pls avoid singing new songs in the same tone.

If you don't have a place to finish your booze Aarey Garden Restaurant works perfectly well for you. It more than welcomes you with your own hard drinks.
Its a little difficult to find at first, but one visit is enough for you to know the way. Its in the midst of a jungle of sorts (Aarey colony), so when they say its a garden restaurant they mean serious business. Food is good enough if you are concentrating more on what you're carrying but not so much for those who are there specifically to satiate hunger.
The restaurant takes orders till 11 and is open till beyond that time. Awesome for groups and get together. Cheers ;)
P.S - Its a little notorious as far as billing is concerned. Best be wary of it.

Visited this place yesterday with my friends.The location was breathtaking,the staff were courteous and the most important thing i.e food was delicious! Me and my wife went to this place with another couple friend. It was quite shocking that staying in goregaon for ten years I had not heard of this place before. This is like an oasis in desert , having dinner on a garden surrounded by forests without the hustle bustle of restaurant is bliss. Food was ok not great , had couple of Chinese starters and north Indian main course. I would recommend sticking to north Indian main course. Desert is avoidable .
The added attraction is getting your own drinks . Of course it becomes an issue as you have to drive after dinner as there is no public transport here!!

Aarey garden rest is a sort of place which is very rare to find in Mumbai. Though you will get many restaurants when you filter with outdoor seating, it is very rare to find one amongst jungle. The way to here is through pitch dark forest and if you are alone drivbg on the road you could skip a beat or two. It has both AC and outdoor seating arrangement. The good is of very good quality. It does not have a bar but you cab get liquor from outside and have your food here. And they don't charge you for it. The non veg starters were good and tasty as were the veg starters. The soup was served hot and was made as per my instructions. The ambience is excellent. Irrespective of you are in a large group or you are with your partner. You can have a good time either ways. Food is served quickly and Captain has good knowledge of the dishes. The only problem was they tool exceptionally long time to get the bill. Definitely worth visiting and trying out their food.
Visited mumbai to meet a friend. He took me to this restaurant. What an awesome ambience!!! Rare to find a place like this in Mumbai without traffic noise, lots of greenery, plenty of old trees, outdoor seating without dust, etc, etc. I was super impressed.
Food service was a little slow to come. However, everything we ordered after the main course had arrived came superfast. That's stuff like water, roti, Naan, etc. I loved that.

This was a surprise find. Good for one of those over the top drinks get togethers. For us , its a irregular office gang hangout . The highlight of this place is the ambience and obviously, get your own booze. Works so much better on the wallet.
Its a great open air place to sit down for a drink. Food is good. Most of the stuff is a malvani type prep...heavily spiced...the bright red dishes.
On weekends , you would often find a guy with a guitar who goes around singing at the tables on request. Good part, he is a decent entertainment. Bad part...he refuses to sing anything else than Kishor kumar. So often you would find large groups joining him ...so ends up being pretty noisy and chaotic at times.
Overall...go there if you have a few bottles of booze to knock off with friends.

This place took me by surprise. I have lived in its vicinity for 4 years now but never once considered eating there. Not until a bunch of colleagues came over to my place and recommended we eat there.
To begin with its got a lot of open air seating space. You are also encouraged to carry your own liquor. A BYOB restaurant if you please. It gets better. The food is quite decent fare. You get eastern cuisine as well as the usual Chinese and Mughlai food. The experience is the best when there's a slight drizzle and it's nice and pleasant.
The staff can seem a bit disorganised but they get the order right. Also, there's this guitarist who will come up to your table and perform Bollywood songs for a tip.
Worthy of a meal, more so because it takes you away from the chaos of Mumbai city. Almost like a mini get away.
This is THE place to visit during the monsoons - a rare occurrence in Mumbai: an open-air garden restaurant. Driving past the green fields of buffalo-grass makes for an excellent appetizer. Once there, do unpack your own wines/beers/liquor openly - BYOB is encouraged here. The cuisine is malvani. The rawa-fried bombay duck is recommended, as is the desi chicken sukha, with wadas. A terrific prawn-rice tops it off and hot gulab jamuns or kulfi is the perfect wrap-up. The attendants are very obliging and helpful, though there may be some bit of chaos during high-traffic times. Oh, and do take your dog along as well, they're pet-friendly. A must-visit if you haven't been there already.
Perfect place to spend your day amidst nature. They serve lip smacking food with refreshing mocktails too. Both outdoor and indoor seating is available. The price is reasonable too. Definitely worth a try!!!

🔸Black Mojito - Different than the classic one and way more tastier and refreshing than it, this was black mojito with some basil, mint leaves😍
🔸Kulukki Sarbat - Transparent refreshing beverage with sabja seeds, mint leaves and green chilli was very tasty👍
🔷 Starters-
🔸Bombil Rawa Fry- Fried in crispy rawa marinated bombils were tucked in big toothpick. They were cooked well and tasted good😋. The spice was perfect✓
🔸Veg Sesame Toast- Rectangular bread toasts were damn crispy and covered with white sesame seeds. The filling in it was of veggies. It tasted best with Schezwan sauce❤️
🔸Assorted NonVeg Platter- Three types of chicken tandoored to tikka were of unusual taste. 1 was lasuni with lots of garlic flavour, one was malai tikka with lots of cheese grated on top😍and the other was the classic red coloured with achaari taste👍 With mint chutney, these well went.
🔸Kurkure Paneer- Between plenty fried noodles, paneer was hidden tasting amazing 🤤 With Schezwan sauce it was one of the good chinese starters.

🔸Cheese Butter Chicken with roti & naan- The classic delicious butter chicken gravy had a lot of cheese grated to make it taste great💯 Quantity was sufficient too✓. Plenty tomato slices were used in presentation.😋
We had it with soft naan and fresh roti.

🔸Pineapple Kulfi Roll - Very very delighting icecream roll with pineapple pieces and minced nuts 🤤. It was very smooth and delicious✓

Very very beautiful place. Breathtaking nature's veiw. Only the roads were poorly built to come up here but this place gave me the best day of my life. Excellent. The food is quite over priced which can be looked into. The catering staff members are very friendly. Evening to night tym are best to visit there coz the lighting and ambience hits different. When we saw the board of Aarey Garden Restuarant while exploring Aarey colony we headed to the place.
From outside it was looking like a normal restaurant and there's no availability of parking in the front side.
When we went inside the main hall, it was AC and had 6 dining tables of different capacity.
I saw that the demand of a table was more than the space, if that's a constant thing then I advise them to think about something to scale up.
Washrooms were clean and good, Food variety was good ranging from Chinese, North Indian, Italian, and few more. Rates were around 50% higher than a normal family restaurant.
But the food that we received took its time for preparation, was really good in taste.
Cottage Cheese, And Vanilla Shakes were fresh which gave us the impression that the milk was bought from near Aarey Diary.
Even the Capsicum and the tomatoes used in the food was juicy.
I will rate the staff: 4/5 a bit lacking in training.
And one more major problem was that people were drinking alcohols on their table and were talking so loud which was equivalent to like you're in a fish market.
I recommend trying Roti Basket if you're going for North Indian food.
Had a good satisfaction with the quality of food, so I'll go there again with the right environment.
Nice place for Parties and family get together. One must take care if traveling alone as it is too far and very little public or bo public on the road, especially girls should take care. Can get alcohol from outside and eat food in the restaurant. Good food. Good natural ambience and good service. A good place for nonveg lovers. Can spend quality time here.
I would name it Close to nature restaurant ! in Mumbai ,this is one of the unnoticed place by many. The main highlight of the restaurant is the dining in the garden itself as the name suggests.i would give 8/10 for the ambience. Service 7/10. And last for the food, it was delicious although I could find quantity a bit less. I would like to suggest them to change the plate in which they serve,it seems plastic. Overall very happy with the restaurant, would definitely love to go back !!

Best times to visit is during rainy season or winter.... It's a crusine is typical dhaba style..... I have visited this place many times....... They have Wonderful outside sitting..... I had visited Aarey Garden Restaurant for on of my friend's bachelor's party. The place is too good for a perfect couple 👫 dinner or any friends group celebration. I had both veg and non-veg starters & main course which was also fabulous & one of the reason to visit this place.
You can carry your own liquor as well and pay Rs. 200/- charge (750 ml) per bottle and order food.
For partying, it has approx capacity of 200 standing and 150 sitting crowd with ample of space to dance and play your fav song on dj system. No worries about localite complaining for high sound volume.
All and all its food is excellent (quality & taste) and place is worth visiting for its open, calm & cool ambience & service between the green lungs of Mumbai. #AareyGardenRestaurant #WorthVisiting
A place with good food and good ambience. Its located in a very green area and gives feel of a forest picnic spot. Service quality of this restaurant is exceptionally good and staff is very humble. Alcohol is not sold here but you can carry your stuff with you nand staff will help in the serving.

Its a cool place yo visit in Aaray. They serve good food. They have indoor seating but you would enjoy it more if you sit outside area. They font serve liquor however they allows you to carry your own they chrage a little service charge for that. In the evening its more fun. You have live gazal. Just relax there in lap of the nature enjoying your drink. Good connectivity from west as well as from Powai side.

Wonderful and tasty food. Just a small hiccup is that it is located in an extreme corner of aarey and probably for sure you'll not be able to find it without the help of Google maps.
