I love this place. It is very please inside. They got mint leaves inside their water jar. Their nasi goreng rice is amazing with chicken. Their stir fried veggies are awesome and so is the prawns. The chef is another level only. Don't die without trying all this.

Many of my friends had been to this place and recommend it multiple times. So I went there and ordered a couple of items. The place is small and the service is good. They serve mint water and it gives very nice flavor in the mouth.
Burned Coriander Noodles: A unique flavor and good quality noodles. This one reminded me of Hunan Noodles in Chinese Corner in Lower Parel near Dipak Cinema. 4/5 on taste. Recommended.
Triple Sichuan Rice: Typical dish and nothing great about it. The taste was good. 3/5 on taste.

Considering my office was in Dadar, so Matunga was like the pit stop for dinner for me before moving towards home. So, a friend of mine suggested to try this particular restaurant as we were in the mood for some good chinese food. T
The place is neat, very conveniently situated right on the main road. We tried the following dishes
1. Mongolian hot Paneer was amazing
2. The 'lemon coriander soup' is nicely prepared
3. For the main course we ordered the 'seven veg chilli garlic sauce' combined with the nasi goreng rice was awesome. The food portions were good and we were not able to wipe the complete food before the food wall was hit.
All in all, a good place to go if you are in mood for some chinese food.

Place is small joint with 4 to 5 tables at most . They have completed 7 years but today also they serve customers with same passion and love. Congratulations to them . Food is amazing . Best Thai curry I ever had 👍 .
Though the food is good and so is the staff... I can't stress enough on how long it takes for the food to reach the table. Also there's like 4 tables so. I could see that the college kids had no problem whatsoever because they were busy with their talks but the elder couples and families were genuinely annoyed by the delay.
So I'd suggest you try this place when you have time because the food is good.

Me and My family went to this hotel on Saturday.The place is small but very much maintained and was crowded thou.After 10 mins of waiting we got the menu card.The waiter on the floor was quiet confused because of the crowd.Later Manager came out and I called him so he took the order and even gave good suggestions of good.The food was very awesome and the Manager was also taking good control over their customers.
Courteous staff.One should always call the Manager if you visit this place.He is polite and treat customer in a pleasant manner.

Spring onion is probably one of the best eateries at King circle. Usually at weekends you may have to wait as the seating is very limited and the restaurant does not even have a washroom. But these sacrifices will seem puny when you take a sip of the delicious hot n sour soup or the creamy Thai curry. The restaurant boasts a no ajino-moto policy. I visited this on 17 march sunday.To start the place is too small so half star less for that.
The staff was good as he was the only one taking order and serving. There are 5 -7 tables in the restaurant.
Food: for starters we ordered prawns butter garlic. It was okiesh for taste but the prawns size was good. The second starter we had ordered was chicken Peri Peri which was very good i liked it. We also ordered a chicken manchow soup which was excellent.
Their policy is no Agi no moto in food which is great.
For main course i ordered chicken chopper rice good quality of rice and good quantity overall. Previously i had tried this Chicken chopper rice elsewhere and they had rice noodles chicken egg and schezwan gravy. Here it was different they had rice loads of veggies chicken gravy and that too manchow gravy which was different than what I had. It was nice.
Not to forget that the person who took the order was a generous person he also gave a kid meal complimentary for my daughter which was nice of him and my daughter liked the noodles in that which is good that kids can have as its not spicy.

A place located near King's Circle on one of the crowded streets making its mark for authentic Chineese food.I visited this place with family and I must say,I spent a good time there.I found their menu quite interesting with a few unique dishes, though they should add some beverages to the menu.The dishes I liked the most- 'Chicken Dumpling Delight Soup'.I am not much of soup person but I tried this innovative version of soup and I must say,it was worth the try.It is a thick soup with Chicken dumplings in it that help its flavours to stand out.I had 'Chicken N Prawns Wrap Dry'.It is an appetizer made from covering of sheets of sliced chicken.Guess what the chicken is stuffed with?Yes,Prawns!It is an unique combination and a treat for those chicken and seafood lovers.In maincourse,I tried 'Chicken Burnt Corriander Noodles'.This is a common dish in most authentic Chinese and Thai places ,but the unique part here is that these noodles are made from rice and are thin.Finally,I ended this amazing dinner with a tasty dessert-'Chocolate Rolls'.Again this is a common dessert in places serving the same cuisine but they gave it their own touch by stuffing it with brownie.This added to its flavours making it delectable.

Spring onion.
The small little restaurant located in one of the busiest streets of Mumbai. As the name implies this place is purely based on Chinese and Thai cuisine. I've noticed one thing here that they add spring onions in most of their dishes which gives it some unique flavor.
The ambience is quite good it is a little restaurant with accommodation for 20-25 people at a time. Color theme is bright. Only missing is washbasin which can bother some handful of people. Either way nice place to have delicious food. One more thing which I personally loved is they've 10 different varieties of sauces which are freshly made by themselves at the restaurant.
The service is good as rush hours like Saturdays and Sundays might affect it. But manager is very attentive and friendly and will suggest something you'll definitely love. The quality and quantity of the food is also very good. It is pocket friendly too. So college students can also have good food with their friends.

▪️Fresh Lemonade- This is a basic and fresh lime Lemonade with soda in it. Refreshing with tangy flavor.

▪️Dumpling delight soup- The base of the soup is same as the above soup. The main difference is dumplings that are very tasty and different from most other places I have tried.

▪️Chicken N prawns wrap dry- This appetizer is a must try for chicken as well as seafood lover. The prawns are wrapped in a thin chicken layer strip which is then fried and sauteed with their homemade sauces.
▪️Pan fried momos- This is a vegetarian appetizer.As I mentioned earlier,they've some delicious Momos which have a unique stuffing in it and can be topped with the sauce of our own choice.

▪️Veg burnt chilli rice- Spicy and hot rice which tastes good as well.Spices are well mixed with rice. Quantity is also very good as compared to price.
▪️Chicken burnt coriander noodles- These are noodles made from rice which are thin as compared to the other noodles we usually eat. I personally love this authentic thin noodles with coriander as base and a lot of small chicken pieces with chopped omelet.

▪️Hot chocolate roll- WOOW! This is the yummiest dessert I've ever had at pure Chinese and Thai restaurant. The hot and tasty fried chocolate roll is very delicious with stuffing of brownie and topped with chocolate syrup,all together is 5/5

Spring Onion is the perfect place for Chinese lovers. It has many outlets, we went to the one in Matunga. It's a small and pretty place with a minimalist yet elegant decor, with soft music in the background. The seating is comfortable and ambience is perfect.
Their food menu (both veg and non veg) is quite extensive.
We tried:
Veg Lemon and Coriander soup (Recommended!)
Chicken leg pops (Crispy on the outside and soft, well cooked on the inside)
Veg Noodles in Mustard sauce. (This was something new, do try!)
It is also not that expensive as compared to the quality and quantity they serve. The staff is polite and the service is quick. This place is a must try for all Chinese foodies. Shall visit again to try more.
Quiet little Chinese restaurant located on the busy road of matunga circle known for its variety of delicious Chinese delicacies. Tried their Manchurian gravy with fried chicken rice. Though ordered a basic dish, the taste was something I never had before. Quantity of ajinomoto was less too. Manchurian balls were soft and the flavour was in every bite of it. Gravy was thick and combination of spices was perfect. Must visit for Chinese cravings. Service was good. Portion size could be improved.

An interesting place to visit if you are a fan of Chinese cuisine. Located in matunga right near the circle, this place serves you some good quality Chinese food. The ambience of this place is interestingly nice and gives you a good vibe. As this place is quite small and has a capacity of only 20 people to sit, you might have to wait for a long time outside to get a seat/table. Service at this place is quite slow so it would be nice if you place all you 3 course meal order at once. You will have to wait for a bit till your food comes and at times may take a bit longer, but once the food is on your plate it wont take you time yo finish it because the food is toooo Yummyyyyy...!!!!!

Small and cute place with good food. The food is good. Have been here more than 15 times. This place is value for money.
Kung pao potato - It was something different.
Paneer peri peri - Quite spicy and juicy paneer.
Paneer burnt coriander - Juicy paneer with green chutney marination. Must try.
Manchow soup - Soup was best. Just amazing. One of the best manchow soup.
Burnt garlic rice - This is my all time favourite. Rice, veggies and mixture of garlic. Wow.
Veg fried rice - It was good in taste.
Thai curry - Curry was tasteless. The taste was like coconut milk but not Thai curry. They should improve the taste of thai curry.
Pot rice - This was simply wow. Aromatic rice, veggies with gravy. Must try.
I like ordering from this little joint. My favourite is Exotic vegetables in chilli basil sauce. Ingredients feel very fresh and the balance of the flavours is almost perfect. The food here feels healthier compared to other oriental joints in Matunga. Keep it up, Team Spring Onion.

Diwali holidays had started and my carnivore instincts had begun to show its true colours. So when my daughter mentioned her desire to have her favourite dumplings, I took out the Zomato app to check the nearest place serving that and viola...Spring Onion stood out.
With just 5 tables with 4 chairs each, this little place had a few certificates and articles hung up on the walls.
The following are the dishes we ordered:
1. Spring Onion special soup (with prawns): This was one of the best soups I had in a long time. The green base of the soup enriched with spinach and coriander gave it a tangy and appetising flavour. The variety of ingredients like egg, baby corn, broccoli, cucumber and zucchini turned this into riot. The little pieces of prawns complimented the soup perfectly.
2. Chicken dumplings: Though the thickness of the sheet and presentation was good, the whole dish was too salty. The meat filling could have been more moist as well.
3. American Chopsuey: This was fine but didn’t live up to the expectations set up by the amazing soup served upfront. The American Chopsuey had a good sweet and sour sauce with shreds of chicken and an egg on top but that was it. It would have been great if there were more elements (like a few more vegetables) in the sauce itself. The fried noodles were crispy.
4. Lime juice: The mandatory “fresh lime water” and “fresh lime soda” were refreshing.
This little oriental outlet is a good place to go if you are craving for “Indian Chinese food”.
A lovely, cozy place to hang out and have some good time. The food is damn delicious, clean and at such an affordable price it's crazy! Not all good things are shit expensive. Good service. Great place. Loved it.
Want to taste the authentic and culinary oriental chinese one must visit the #Springonion outlet. We visited the one of its branch at Matunga west. Not too big but well managed with simple ambience, dim lights and not so crowded.
One who love very spicy chinese will actually not love this place, because here the taste buds will get a tinge of authentic flavours in Oriental chinese, also being healthy alternative.

I usually never jump when someone says Chinese food. But this place changed that a bit for me.
I ve bene to this place 2 -3 times and have ended up trying new dishes and only been happy that I tried a new dish each time.
A must try is the Chengdu Chilly in Paneer or for meat lovers in meat option.
The person serving or taking your order will exactly explain what you should respect from a dish when you order, and it matches the description and experience bang on.
If you are for no frills , but value for money experience with great food, one must definitely try this place.
