One of the best food experiences we have had in long time. Excellent food, excellent presentation. The Banoffee pie at the end was to die for. Thanked the chef for the excellent food as well.
This place is a must Go if u ever visit mumbai.. Great food plus a warn n cosy Ambience.. There Cocktails , Wine N Hummus werr stand out too.. Just There deserts were Okie dokie.. Surely it’s one of the best Places in Mumbai:)
Pointer - Don’t be afraid If you see lots of paparazzi outside If you visit late night :-P
Have been to this place a couple of times and in both cases the experience was excellent. The Azteca. Salad was really good and cottage chees wrapped in zucchini was excellent. The Lava cake with the ice cream is a must try for the dessert. The service is excellent. Hope they restart live band singing on saturdays , those guys were really good.
I go with different groups of friends/ family quite often to The Korner House. Love the ambience... Enjoy the yummy food... very good staff , great service, courteous and helpful... love the place... Chef Vicky Ratnani please take a bow...
The place is a true gem. Chef Vicky Ratnani makes every guest feel special. The food is honest and outstanding.
Go with their recommendations and you will become a regular.
Vicky Ratnani is as good a conversationalist as he is a master chef. At the Korner House he presents such a dynamic array of tastes and combinations that both satiate the palate as well challenge it. While all that I tasted last night was from good to superb the outstanding creations were the Pork Belly, the Lentil, pulses & Tofu cakes served with a molasses type beetroot ketchup & the Roots & Tubers first slow baked and then flash fried drizzled with a Peruvian Aji sauce. Thank you Nachiket Shetty for suggesting such a fine dining spot.

Great atmosphere and very good food. Really enjoyed the meal there. Looking forward to going back.
Located literally on the corner in Khar, The Korner House has a relaxed cosy feel to it, nice ambience and great food. What else would one want at a fine dine.
one of the best places i ever went. with celebrity chef vicky ratnani
Everything was perfect, amazing food music, ambience, loved it
The food was excellent, that's the most important. Ambience, location, staff, Great !!!!
Good service and great ambience... can improve quite a lot on their food...
They offer the complete fine dining experience , you may choose to sit outdoors or indoors, either way their ambience is great for a peaceful evening or night . We had the Korean chicken skewers , prawns saganaki , mushroom skewers , sweet potato and mushroom burger ,crisp lemon spinach and charred corn cigars , each of these was delicious . They do not have a lot of options in the main course but the appetisers definitely compensate for that shortcoming , overall my experience was amazing
The food was really good but their service is wayyy too slow. The can work on that! We ordered pasta, burgers and 3-4 starters.

Korner House is a very good option for a romantic dinner. The place and its food are both nicely crafted. We had tenderloin with port pepper sauce and mashed potato, a portion of cottage cheese tournedos and aglio olio pasta. The tenderloin was well made as requested and the sauce was neither too sweet nor too stringy- a mistake that most Indian restaurants often make. The Tournedos were definitely a visual treat. Aglio Olio was perfectly seasoned and the oil was also well-balanced.
The ambience was definitely something that stood out. The place was not cluttered and there was enough room around each table. The staff was good though there is nothing in particular that stood out about them.
A romantic and elite place to visit with pleasing interiors. Staff is polite amd helpful with their suggestion. Less option for vegetarians. Though food is lip smacking . It is true to it's name as it is right in the corner.
It’s a very romantic and elite place to visit . Being a vegetarian I really enjoyed starters Cajun potatoe , paneer tornadoes and spinach n corn crisp . All of them had individual taste also so authentic . Coming to main course pizza vedura was maxing had to order again, Thai curry is yum to taste and finally all time favourite pasta penne pink sauce . Must try place !!
Not a very big place. However, staff is not attentive. They don’t serve the dishes, nor take care of table crockery and are always talking amongst themselves.
The Salmon starter was good.
Inspite of ordering non spicy food, a chicken starter was serviced with spices.
Overall decent experience. Can try once
A surprisingly well kept secret of Khar, its good to see that Korner House has maintained the standard of service and dining. We dropped in on a Sunday evening and were able to get a table immediately. Having personally visited the venue once prior for a private gathering, we decided to go for familiar dishes, such as the mushroom pate and spaghetti with onions and chillies. In my opinion, the pasta dish is a must try. Our dessert, the banoffee pie, was exquisite in terms of looks and taste!
The food and the ambience is amazing. And the pork ribs especially, oh my god that's some good stuff. The staff is also extremely polite and ensure you have a great meal.
One of the nicer restaurants in the area. Definitely worth a try!
:) = Love the ambiance here, absolutely brilliant. Interiors are very well done. The staff is super friendly and extremely well trained. The place is really clean and very well maintained. The food is great. Taste wise pretty decent. Overall experience is lovely.
:( = Definitely one of the pricier restaurants in the area. I say this because the portions of food you get does not add up to the price you pay. I get that it's a Fine Dining Restaurant but when you describe the 'Double Beef Burger - The Boss' as a Double Beef Patty Burger but actually join both the patties together and fill the center with Cheese creating a hole inside the patty that is basically 30-40% of the burger, you do feel a little cheated. Would really appreciate if the management looked into this and gave this dish a revamp.
On the whole, great place, definitely recommend.
Brilliant service , lovely
ambiance and excellent food . Cozy place and Pranay ensures you get your share of good experience. Would definitely be coming back
Visited The Korner House for the first time this weekend and I’m in love with this place! The food is absolutely delicious! The pork ribs, shellfish soup, Harissa Chicken and penne pasta are highly recommended! The only thing I managed getting a pic of is this dessert - chocolate lava! It was worth every calorie!
Excellent food excellent service excellent interiors perfect atmosphere for a luxury fine dinning , for all the diet freaks also this place is divine for options and lastly the person who attended us Bryan thanks a ton had a wonderful Saturday night dinner with friends
The Korner House, I like it when a restaurant name intrigues me and makes me want to visit the place, the Korner house did not disappoint. Its belongs to the endangered species of restaurants with candles on tables and a lack of loud blaring music which elevates the dining experience altogether combined with the French home like Art Deco.
Food was impressive, especially the flatbreads which are wood fired and still do not lack a crust..the arabiatta spaghetti, the notes of flavour on the tomato were a right balance of spicy and tangy and the house specialty desert tres leches was every bit tasty as it were good to look at.
The serving staff was very polite!
Overalls this is a house which I hope is not put in the Korner..it deserves notice 🍽
Their polenta is grilled to perfection and the best that’s available in Mumbai. And there’s this caramel smoothie you just cannot miss. Overall great ambiance and food.
Hidden gem is Bandra with exceptional food and pleasing interiors. The staff is polite and very helpful with their suggestions.
Food: 4.5/5
Ambience: 5/5
Staff: 5/5
Must visit. Dont forget to tell the staff about what you like and they will definitely suggest something to match your taste
Such a beautifully made place at the corner on Carter Road. Places like this make you want to sit there for hours, sipping on a drink, making conversations.
The staff is warm and friendly, food is good and the ambience is rustic. It's not too loud, people are well behaved, music is good and the place is spacious. While vegetarian choices are less, you'll like whatever there is to offer.
I had been meaning to go to this place for a while based on really good reviews. I was surprised to see the rating under 4 today when we were planning to head out for dinner.
the two of us had the most amazing mushroom soup. the breads and tapanade table serves were excellent as well.
I tried the prawn kasundi, which was perfectly cooked and packed full of flavor.
for the mains, I had the John Dory. Couldn't have picked a better main. beautifully cooked and served with an excellent sauce.
easy 5 star for me. look forward to going back to the Korner house.
A place to surely make visit, expensive though!
They place is good for non- vegetarian peoples, not good for vegetarians peoples. They less option for vegetarians. They serve one of the best desserts.
Located in Carter Road, sandwiched between Olive and Out of the Blue.
Good quiet place.
Very good food.
Place is very clean, nicely done, and has a very accommodating staff.
Definite recommend.
One word on my experience here - Awesome.
Tried out the Wow menu 6 course meal offer and loved each and every dish.
To start off with - the vibes were very welcoming and cozy.
Started off with Amuse Bouche - This tasted nice and tangy
Settled for the Mushroom soup which was nicely plated and tasted good.
The Grilled Iceberg Chicken salad was the highlight for the evening. A must try
The smoked Lamb Flat bread was decent, should have actually tried the chicken instead.
Pounded Chicken Breast was nice with chicken cooked to perfection, the butter rice along blended well with the dish.
For dessert tried the Tres Leches - This was overtly sweet for me, should have actually gone in for the Banoffee pie instead.
A point to nite though - Initially they offered an option of cocktail/Wine - 2 glasses. But have now reduced it to a glass of wine only.
All in all an awesome experience - Def heading back to try more.
A great place to relax and enjoy the food. Great food great attentive service. The lava cake was just out of the world. Keep it up guys. Will come again.
Very impressive ambiance and excellent service. Quality of food is impressive but the quantity is still less comparatively. Pork ribs were smaller than expected . Thai curry and rice was good. Starters were amazing . The place has a very refreshing and positive vibe which was relaxing and perfect for the meal that I was expecting.
The food, the ambience everything is on point. The service is also at par. It’s a must try. The best thing about my dinner was the banoffee pie. It was amazing!
A total "romantic date" vibe is what you get as soon as you enter through the doors of the restaurant with secluded seating, candles lit, sitting under the open sky. But in case you're a big group/ family then fret not as these guys have quite a cosy closed section as well.
Went for a set menu (with options) 6 course meal through WowTables. They had 2 drinks per person listed on their menu but we were told later by the server that it's only 1 now (awkward). Drinks were, to be frank, simply average / decent. But what followed after the drinks was something that got us licking our plates off! Full disclosure: I'd researched this place before going and by looking at the past reviews we quiet weren't sure of it, but decided to go for it anyway as it has been sitting on our wish list for some time now. And the verdict: The food is delicious and satisfying!
The Amuse Bouche was great, followed by the Chicken Chowder soup which was creamy with a tinge of spice. We were then serves the Grilled Iceberg Chicken Salad which was quite refreshing. Next came the drool worthy Smoked Lamb Chipotle flat bread (do try!) For mains we had the Pounded Chickens Breast with Stir fried veggies and Basil Sauce which was creamy AF and flavourful at the same time. To the end meal we called for the Banoffee Pie - 'heavenly' is all I will say.
I recommend this place for when you're in the mood to sit back, relax, have yummy food and be at peace. Also, my rating is totally for the ambience and the quality of food minus the drinks.
PS: hoping to visit soon!
Beautifully done up, The Korner House is a must visit. The food is absolutely lip smacking and the staff is ever so courteous. My Sunday dinner was Half Roast Chicken with Apple Cider Sauce and Parmesan fries (9/10) and Local Tenderloin with Pot Pepper Sauce and Baked Sweet Potatoes (9/10). The Casablanca Tea felt like a warm hug and I felt short of words when I had a sip of my Hot Chocolate.
To make things even better, we availed the Zomato Gold option.

Went for lunch over this place. Ambience is amazing. I love the couch and the chairs. They have sitting area outside too. Food was amazing. I had salad and prawns. They were pretty good. I definitely recommend my friends to come over this place.
This place is no longer operated by chef Vicky Ratnani, but still hasn’t lost its charm. The ambience has definitely gotten better. The service is pretty slow. I tried the Ahana prawns, we loved it so much we called for it twice. The feta lamb sliders were amazing, the meat was juicy packed with a goodness of various flavours. The Korean chicken skewers are highly recommended too. The menu is limited and the pricing is just right. What disappointed me was that there weren’t many desserts available and two of them were just choco lava and chocolate brownie.

The high marks are for the lovely ambience and extremely warm service. The menu lacks much choices in vegetarian food.. the taste is average ...felt the flavours are downplayed mostly. The ingredients used are fresh and tasteful however the overall assembling is not very great...
The flat bread was slightly undercooked...crust was not as crispy as you would expect. However the staff is open to suggestions and would accomodate your requests
The green apple slurpie was quite a let down...loved the Nutella cinnamon donut shake...will recommend you to try for sure. But you'll def give desserts a skip if you have this :)
It is true to its name...it is right on the 'K'orner. The place is quiet and if you like a conversation over candlelight and an expensive dinner then this is a good option.
Its not unfortunately a must-visit place on any count.
We ordered:
1) Lamb and Feta Sliders
2) Duck Breast in Port Pepper Sauce with Paremsan Rosemary fries
We also ordered a beer and a Vodka based cocktail.
The sliders were excellent. Succulent meat and right sized portion. The bread was also well done, crispy on the outside but not too hard.
This is a high end place which is why we wanted to try tye duck. One doesn't usually find it on menus and we thought they may do it well. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The fat wasn't rendered well and the duck meat more chewy than it should be. The sauce (which was recommended) was the right accompaniment. But it wasn't memorable.
The service was good. Wish they suggested a better side for duck. The fries weren't complementing the dish at all.
Given the price range the meal wasn't satisfying. But the ambience is indeed nice. Even on a Saturday night it wasn't too loud.
Food: 3/5
Ambience: 4/5
Service: 4.5/5
Value for money: 2.5
Overall: 3.5
I wouldn't go there again. But I don't think my evening was totally ruined. Will recommend for date night if you are looking for a quiet drink with light eats.
I went there for new year’s lunch and I’m so glad I chose this place. Ambience is nice and comfortable ..service is great, the guy who was serving us had been working nonstop since 24 hrs without sleep (because of new year eve party) and still was so pleasant and courteous. And The food is one of best I’ve tried. Everything from our 6 course meal was delicious plus the cocktails .
Everything was par excellence. Must Visit!!
P.S. just a suggestion if you guys could stop using plastic straws and opt for paper ones instead.
Tried the Ahana prawns and the Pork ribs. The prawns had just the right tinge of the kasundi flavour and were well cooked and the Ribs accompanied with spinach and mash super good.
Tucked into the lane transcending the curves at Carter Road is this restaurant aptly called which is actually the Corner house. With seating that's spread far and wide and a warm comfortable environment like sitting in your living room that's got a right sense of decor and ambient lighting
The food on the house is a bit American, yer French, serves some good European flat breads and still has the traditional spaghetti and penne too!
We got started with a large broth of soup which is a very healthy portion and the starters like the cigar rolls make good company with your drink
Getting a taste of the flat bread is a must of the place
Mainly popular for a lot of meats, they give you some good cottage cheese steak and pasta too
And yes for the sweet tooth the banofie pie is the strongest recommendation that comes with a tad nice looking burnt sugar finery at the top!
Great service, prompt to take to your requests and an ambience you'll love to go readily with friends and family like we did!
No longer a Vicky Ratnani operated eatery, it still holds good the effort he must have put in. Ambience much better than its previous avatar the food is what really is a winner. Menu and pricing just right. It's not for those who looking for fast service and quick food but the ones who want a fairly chilled pace evening.
The lamb fetta sliders and mustard prawns stole the show. The V8 chicken was alright and flat bad pizza in between nice and good. Ended the evening with a side portion of fries. Satisfying. Bill with a drink per person and shared dessert should cost around 1500 p.p. with 5%GST hopefully.
1. #JohnDoryInALime&SpicySauce
The foodie in me loved every morsel of this. Continental food just got better!😍
The John Dory was a complete melt in the mouth with no overcooking. That Lime and Spicy sauce was brilliant combination and complimented it extremely well! Loved it!
2. #V8SpicedChicken with a #MushroomVeloute sauce.
I loved the sauce, best from the mushrooms I've ever had. However, the chicken was quite dry and lacked moisture. The entire dish put together resulted into a tasty treat. That heart shape though. 😍
3. #LambAndFetaSlidersl.
It was Ah-mazing! There was nothing wrong about this dish and that made me very happy. Juicy meat packed with flavour. Totally recommending!
Well cooked prawns! Great place for good food and wine. Enjoyed De Bortoli Pinot Grigio
Ambience of the restaurant is relaxing. Definitely a restaurant I want to go again! I
Excellent food. Good cocktails. Shame they sometimes do not have some of the meats available (i think almost every time I have been something hasn’t been available) and some of the wines are often missing.
It’s not every day that you are invited to Oktoberfest. It’s also not every day that you have German food with such passion and love for everything culinary. We sat down at The Korner House By Chef Vicky Ratnani, situated aptly on an intersection.
Located quite literally on the corner in Khar's Union Park, The Korner House has a relaxed contemporary feel to it, beautiful floor tiles, tall panes and an elegant bar. Plant-filled alfresco section (great in this dicey weather), too.
What we were served: Green Apple and Red Carrot Slaw, Quinoa and Vegetable Salad, Arugula and Feta Salad, Assorted Olives, Mini Cheese Skewers with Creamy Mango, Remoulade and Jalapeno dips, Cottage Cheese Cigar Rolls, Baked Dish, Chargrilled Cottage Cheese Cake, Pan fried Polenta and Fruit Affair
Green Apple and Red Carrot Slaw - Carrot and Apple Slaw is a bright and flavorful dish to serve with your appetizers. This apple carrot salad recipe is a quick and colorful side dish perfect for a crisp bite.
Quinoa and Vegetable Salad - Quinoa is a fine, protein-packed grain that helps to keep you satisfied until your next meal, making this veggie salad a great tummy filler.
Arugula and Feta Salad - Jazz up the arugula salad and give it a slightly Greek twist with Feta Cheese. This simple salad features a few marvelously complementary flavors: earthy taste, bitter arugula, salty feta, savory and tangy salad dressing.
Mini Cheese Skewers - Party-ready appetizers don't have to be a pain to pull together. These adorable Mini Cheese Skewers look absolutely charming besides your drink. The perfect party day food in the perfect appetizer form!
Cottage Cheese Cigar Rolls - Awesome Cuisine gives you a simple and tasty Cheese Paneer Roll. Try this Cheese Paneer Roll along with delectable Remoulade dip and go mad this October!
Baked Dish - Give up the usual pasta because having Classic Baked Penne and Cheese is tastier than you think. Take your penne and cheese weekend dinner to a whole new level with this veggie-kissed casserole.
Chargrilled Cottage Cheese Cake - A hearty serving of Cottage Cheese marinated in Chef special spices and char-grilled is all you need with your drink.
Pan fried Polenta - Polenta is nothing more than coarsely ground cornmeal. A vegetarian take on an earthy braise over polenta, this Pan Fried Polenta is the perfect way to welcome fall. And welcome it, we do. This show-stopping vegetarian main will dazzle dinner party goers and it's special enough for your tummy too.
Fruit Affair - A unique arrangement of edible fruits that is a picture to look at and a dream to taste. Mulberries, Dragon fruit, Kiwi, Watermelon scoops, Musk Melon and Pineapple – A delightful and eye-candy platter!
We’ll revisit this place to cover the regular menu except the special menu curated for Oktoberfest.
In short, The Korner House is already the talk of the town for its Oktoberfest that frequent its charming outdoor section and swear by its dining experience – one we are sure will leave you with great awe every time you visit.
Good food 'good service' good ambience 'i love the please
my fevreat lamb shank' and Duck flat bread
Pasta and rissoto' and healthy salads sandwich
Another one for our guys day out.
Had a recommendation from a friend.
The place is nicely done with a little loud music playing.
Food was good but I wouldn't call it extraordinary.
The Prawns Saganaka was tangy and good.
The NZ Tenderloin tips is an interesting way to eat beef. Meat rolled in small pieces of rumali roti. Nicely flavoured and yum.
The Double Beef burger (which was recommended) did not actually live up to expectations. It was interesting no doubt with liquid cheese in the centre of the burger patty but the bread just crumpled and it was all very messy.
The local tenderloin steak was also strictly okay.
Lastly the dessert we ordered Tres Leches for which I have to say I have added 1/2 a point to the overall rating. This is truly an amazing dish. Enjoyed it so much that we ordered another one.
Great restaurant and amazing food quality ,it is good to see that staff is well manner .
The banoffee pie was spot on and it's among the few eggless dessert on the menu .
Will surely visit this place again .😊
A place to surely visit, expensive though!
Our purpose was a page 3 party. The drinks served were fine. Food was royal.
In case you visiting late night, beware of the media guys! You can get captured :p
I love this place, the food, ambience and cocktails. Everything about this is simply amazing. The flavours are another level and you will never find any of them at any other place in the city. Must visit.
This place iz jst amazing the ambience iz lively evenings st this place iz peacefull the staffs are amazing and on a toe to help u always the food iz up to the mark. The chicken the salads jst amazing one can have a lovely evening with family or loved ones with a glass of vine here highly recommend a place mst to visit amazing experience highly recommend 👍
Went to The Korner House for a date night , and quite loved the ambience. The lighting is spot on, the music soft and non interfering. The food is slightly on the pricy side, but is good.
We tried the following:
1. Prawn flatbread - Would reorder
2. Pumpkin Rissoto - Was nice
3. Forest Mushroom Bisque ( Soup) - Would reorder
Total damage was 2000₹ without alcohol
A holiday weekday, a baby friendly place and an odd lunch hour worked exactly as anticipated in our favour, as we got nestled in the quietness of the restaurant. It's been years since we visited the place, and while they have maintained the ambience, they have completely redesigned the menu. My wife started with an average Chicken and Celery Chowder, and later resorted to a great tasting Asian Sea Bass with a Lime and Spicy Sauce and a side of Spice Roasted Pumpkin Planks. And I feasted on the mouthwatering Double Bacon Chop with a "to die for" Port Pepper Sauce with a generous portion of Spinach and Roasted Bell Peppers on the side. Even though we had to wait longer than expected because of a slight mix up in the preparation, the grills made up for that, with it's taste. The only grudge that I hold is the "misleading" Grill section of the menu, where it is mentioned to pick a protein, add a sauce and take a side as per mood, which by the first impression looks like a combo of sorts, ends up as separately and steeply priced sauce and sides items. However, while the sauce is complementary, I don't understand the reason behind separately charging the sides, which in my opinion is unfair.
Great restaurant and amazing food quality, it is good to see that staff is well knowledge and moreover are of good nature.
Loved the decor and music.
The new Ass.Restaurant manager Mr.Gautam was very polite and made us very comfortable.
A well acclaimed restaurant frequented by bollywood biggies.
I visited only for desserts and I'm sure I'll head back for their entrées too. I ordered the tres leches which is basically a three milk cake. It was heavenly and as good as the Sanchos (now shut down) one. The banoffee pie was spot on and its among the few eggless desserts on the menu. The plating of both these was fantastic. Vicky Ratnani, take a bow!
Food: 5/5
Ambience: 5/5
Service: 5/5
Value for money: 5/5 (pricey but worth it)
Final verdict: Definitely worth a visit.
Visited The Korner House today for lunch.. Its pretty up to the mark.. Though it had limited vegetarian options but quite tasteful.. Cottage cheese tournedos and Jambalaya is a must try.. Very good ambiance and music !!
These days The Korner House has become my favorite place in Bandra . Their food is awesome . The spicy chicken I was served yesterday was fantastic and we called for 3 servings . Staff is well knowledgeable and very courteous.
Main thing i love is the ambience. It's just so Romantic & Cosy & Beautiful .
Thank you for the lovely evening and
See you soon again.
This was my second visit to The Korner House, and the food was excellent both times. I called for a vegetarian mixed sauce penne pasta and 5 mushroom risotto, both were perfect. My friends who called for non-vegetarian food loved their order as well. The desserts too were amazing and were finished within a minute. The staff were courteous and quick. The ambience is beautiful. Overall we loved the experience, and I shall keep going back for the yummy food

Very expensive food but I loved the taste. The starters were good. Woodfired flat bread was very delicious. Spinach shakshuka first time I had. Delicious.saw that it was s choice of a lot of people from Bollywood too. Hospitality was very good.
One of the best ambience to sit eat drink and also have conversation. Music is perfectly controlled.
Will surely visit again and again.. strongly recommend !!!

Super ambience. Good food. Great time!
The jambalaya , tagine, and flat breads were fabulous. The hummus was nice and smooth. The service was great as well. Would be lovely to get an outside sitting during the cooler times
My go to place for lunch with my girlfriends. The food is always delicious though the service is a tad slow . The Buckwheat crepes are a must try as is the John Dory with lemony chilli sauce. The Tres Leches & the Banofee pie are beyond superlative
Great food, good ambience and lovely live music on a Sunday afternoon. The menu has something different to offer in both veg and non veg categories. The summer coolers and granitas were intelligently done.Service was quick. Extra points to the gentleman who played the saxophone. Some beautiful soothing compositions were belted out.
Excellent food
Immaculate niche way of presentation
Too good for the taste buds
Must try the cottage cheese starter and the variety of flat bread pizzas 🍕
Very nice interiors and English style ambience
A Must visit corner around mumbai
Korner house 😊👌🏻
Please ask for their warm assorted breads with butter and olive dip
Loved it
Very courteous staff
Very well greeted
Read and heard a lot about it. Not exactly what I expected with all the hype over it. Limited menu, though the dishes were well presented. Dessert was good - the choco hazelnut creme brûlée yummm... does not live up to its repute ..
I had ordered corn and spinach in pastry along with spaghetti.
the former was great. the spaghetti sauce was requested and it was delicious. very happy with the food
downer - extremely smiling valet ( why - it was borderline creepy)
bill was of 1460 and the staff didn't return the change of 1500 . ( I don't tip if service charge is included).
verdict : eat repeat
I had had a long journey! I wasn't tired, but I definitely was hungry! Right beside the hotel I was staying in, I discovered this restaurant, which looked fancy but who cares in hunger! I ordered,
1) Sunshine - It was fresh, not that sweet. Although I didn't find the mint it was supposed to have.
2) V8 Spiced Chicken w/Port Pepper Sauce and Chive Scallion Mash on the side - One of the best grilled chickens I've had till date. Perfectly cooked. The mash was surprisngly tasty. The port pepper sauce had a very different flavour to it, a good one though. I even complimented the chef for this dish.
3) Green Tea Mint - Imported specially from Darjeeling, this tea was super refreshing! A must have, post food.
Beautiful ambience and very friendly servers!
Loved the aura of the place. The servers were full with eagerness and at fraction of seconds were ready to fulfill your demands. The bar menu had all sorts of drinks in it..had the best Sangria ever. Starters were great but limited vegetarian option. Deserts were out of the world and their presentation blew my mind.
GREAT atmosphere and super delish food! Vicky Ratnani has done a phenomenal job on the menu! Brunch is delightful with interesting cocktails. YUM
I fail to understand why have I never eaten food over here.. May because their cocktails never let me get there.. Today I walked in for the 1st time to eat lunch..
The Sangria almost took me to the edge of not eating again but thanks to my wife, I had the most amazing meal I have had in ages...
Being a vegetarian never expected to be soo delicious and versatile..
Thank you Kroner House for a perfect lunch...
Am soo happy...

Extremely pretty place with a very contemporary and chic feel to it. And the best part is that they serve a wide variety of drinks, when I saw mulled wine on their menu instantly ordered it. For the uninitiated, Mulled wine is a beverage of European origins usually made with red wine along with various mulling spices and raisins. My accompanying friends had not heard of mulled wine and upon trying left their sangria and ordered some for themselves. Overall, a fabulous place!
--A drop of ink may make a million think.
@AyaashPaw
Very expensive but very very delicious food. Great cocktails and spirits. Overpriced. Food is top class.
Started with PORK BELLY SKEWERS and CARPACCIO OF NZ BEEF. Simply yumm. I was flattered. Next DOUBLE BACON CHOPS and BLACK COD GRILL. Yumm again. Very very yummy food.
Ambience - very good
Service - good
Food - very good
Pricing - bad
Value for money - good
Chef Vicky Ratnani - take a Bow. This place was on my wishlist since a long time. Always booked. At last got a chance to visit this place last week.
It does make a difference when a celebrity master chef has created the Menu and takes a personal interest , recommends dishes and attends to each and every table to get the feedback.
This Place serves some amazing European/Bar Food/BBQ and the dishes from the newly added wood fire oven are a must try.
Frankly thought this place would be Pricey. The quality and the ingredients used i guess its perfect.
Some of the dishes tried :
Korean BBQ Chicken - Soft/Juicy chicken. It's all about getting the marination correct. (Soy/White sugar/Ginger/Hot chilli paste/Lemon Juice) + Scallion Puree (Olive oil & Onion mix, a dash of salt and pepper) gave the Glaze. Served with Home Style Khimchi which gave that sweet tangy feel. Loved it.
Pork belly Skewers - Pork Strips soaked in bamboo skewers marinated perfectly, charcoaled. Loved the Espresso BBQ glaze - got the Sweet/Lemony taste of honey and cider vinegar, bold flavours of Garlic/fresh ground pepper. Nailing the glaze is all about getting the demitasse cup espresso with the other elements simmered perfectly. Loved the dish.
Tuna Tartare - Loved the presentation. Chopped Tuna marinated in Olive oil. Served in a shape of a cake (Tartare) Correct balance of Sriracha Spring onions. Avocado gave that freshness. Topped with Quail Egg. Simple yet elegant. Do try this.
Caprese salad - This is all about freshness. Burrata being the eye element (could have been softer) Cherry tomatoes, Pine Nuts and Rocket leaves. Simple but refreshing. Balance of Olive Oil and dressing perfect.
Azteca - This is a must order. Healthy option. Picture perfect. All about getting the balance perfect. Loved the Simple yet classy Dressing made of Jalapeno & Cilantro (which just gave that punch and lifted the flavour) Crunchiness from the charred corn, sweetness from the orange, Quinoa, Black eyed peas (Chawli) Beetroot sliced. Set Yogurt. Garnished with Mountain greens. Killer of a dish.
Gampas A la Plancha (Prawns) lemony/Tangy sauce. Basically Char grilled Lime with Jus of Olive oil and Chillies. Prawns (medium Size) done well. Overall the dish had bold and balanced flavours. If you like something lemony - have this dish. Korner House serves some good homemade bread as they have their own bakery as well as a wood fire oven. Breads dipped with the Jus - lovely taste. Loved this dish.
Lamb Chops - New Zealand lamb grilled just about medium rare. Seasoning with sea salt and black pepper along with garlic some rose marry and lemon zest. Perfect dish to have. Served with homemade salad and sauce (frankly can't remember) Overall a lovely dish. Do Order.
Home Made Whole Wheat Spaghetti - another healthy dish. Spicy/Tangy with good balance of herbs. Spicy tomato sauce was just correct. Spaghetti cooked perfectly (Not under / Not Over) Hit of pepper. Burrata added the texture and gave a balance to the dish. Again a must have a delight for the vegetarians.
Wood fire Flat Breads - BIANCO - Nailed it. It's all about getting the correct fermentation. Have been having flat breads / Pizzas but this was something different. So light. Texture was amazing. It's all about Balancing and baking the mascarpone/Cream cheese and the topping of Onions gave that sweetness. Wow. Loved it.
Mushroom Croquets - wow, fried to perfection, golden. Minced mushroom with herbs/spices. Romesco Sauce (nut and red pepper) went well with the Croquets, fried parsley as a garnish made the dish look picture perfect.
DESSERTS:
=========
Tiramisu - Korner House version. Not explaining. Need to try to believe it. YUM.
Had a couple of cocktails which were Whiskey based. Bar tender has done a good job.
Smoked Whiskey sour - Hickory smoked Bourbon/Sweet and sour, homemade orange bitters.
Overall - A fantastic place to visit anytime of the day. Vicky Ratnani being a master chef/Celebrity - No attitude. Hallmark of a great chef. Service was fantastic.
Would love to go there again -
Do try - Highly Recommended.
Good food. Good ambience. The restraunt is made very well. And so is the bathroom.
Flatbreads are excelent. Courtieous staff.
Keep it going.
Hope ull can pull a lil more crowd. Evrytime i have come by its empty bt what is comendable is the food is still fresh and yummy.
The food here is incredible. Lots of innovative dishes. I'm vegetarian and I didn't think veg fusion would be so well brought out. I tried the corn and salsa soup which was amazing. The hummus platter was incredible, there was an innovation of lemon and coriander hummus which was delicious! I also tried the spaghetti which was mouth watering. The cottage cheese steak was extremely flavourful. The steak was perfectly grilled and the flavours were OMG! For dessert I had the bitter chocolate tart! Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely go back again!
One of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. Korner house is tucked away in union park a little off carter road. The flatbreads are amazing especially the ham and swiss cheese one. I also thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and celery chowder but the hero of the meal was the perfectly cooked steak I enjoyed which I can say, hand on heart is the best steak I have had in this country.
The food is as per international standards. Always delighted to sit here on a quite evening, not just for food but for the exquisite cocktails. The flatbreads and the soups are a must try. Its one of the hustling bustling location of Union Park. The interior by Mr. Ashiesh is on point. Overall great ambience. A must visit for the people who admire taste over quantity.

I have always loved European cuisine and the good news is Mumbai has upped the game when it comes to being home to some of the best European restaurants in the country. The Korner House is one of them.
The interiors are beautiful, olive colored couches and chairs, quirky chandeliers, candle lit tables and a nice bar.
Here’s what we ordered:
Bread Basket: Every European restaurant treats you with one. Theirs is amazing! Slices of focaccia, a couple of others served with tapenade and butter. Love!
Chicken and Celery Chowder: A thick soup made with celery mash and cream, some chicken and topped with pico de gallo. Though the chowder was tasty, didn’t really appreciate tomato floating in my soup.
Wild Mushroom Brie: Flat bread pizza with sliced wild mushrooms and cheese. Yummy!
Korean Barbecue Chicken: Absolutely loved the marinade, nice and smoky! Drizzled with what I think was kewpie.
5 Mushroom Risotto: Words can’t describe how much I love risottos. This was yummy with various kinds of mushrooms, not sure if I could spot all five. There was a hint of truffle oil but not enough for my taste.
Charcoal Grilled V8 Spiced Chicken: Nicely grilled chicken breast with some lovely sauce which I couldn’t identify. Grilled veggies served on side.
Banoffee Pie: What a good-looking dessert! The base was of crumbled biscuit, the first layer was toffee followed by cream and slices of banana, topped with oh so good looking spun sugar! Yummy!
Bitter Chocolate Tart: Creamy chocolate dessert which wasn’t as bitter, a sure winner!
What good food and what an amazing evening!

We had gone to The Korner House for brunch. Their brunch menu had plenty of options for vegetarians. The Bloody Mary Soup was brilliant ( Just Wow!! ) The mushroom brie flatbread and pumpkin & almond ravioli was delicious. Chef Vicky Ratnani was warm and gracious.Thank you Chef. Will visit again with some place for dessert. Highly Recommended!!
Excellent Spread of Food .A must visit with good ambience but spirits are too steep. Full marks to the chef and the crooning star who values adds with some good retro collection.
Good place, good food. Being a vegetarian, options are pretty limited plus only one egg less dessert so that was a turn off. The milkshakes are good, pasta was properly cooked had customized the pasta according to our taste.
Overall the experience was. 50-50 chance of visiting again due to limited number of veg dish.
Chef Vicky Ratnani hosted me and a few friends for brunch at The Korner House this Sunday. I found the restaurant as well as the menu very upbeat, feel-good and wholesome. Just like the sunshine and leafy hues of the interiors, with some beautiful paned glass. In keeping with the cheery look, Raymond George performed several sets of all my favourite easy-listening songs, adding to the peaceful easy Sunday feeling.
Like other brunches that are now moving from groaning messy tables laden with an all-you-can-eat buffet, this one too does an a la carte menu that guarantees you quality, fresh fine-dining. The emphasis on healthy and wholesome is not just via a cleverly worded menu, but a superbly crafted one.
For me, the must have again and again dish here was the Art House Salad. Layered and complex, this all-veg salad is just popping with flavour and Chef was actually waiting to see how we reacted to our first mouthful!!! Our amazed expression didn't disappoint.
Other must-tries: The Fresh Cheese and Vegetable Market salad which has some nicely textured burrata, the Gambas a la Plancha (prawns in garlic and Thai chilli), the scrambled eggs with truffle oil, and the pork spare ribs with a shot of Espresso in the sauce! Chef Vicky's forte is using technique and fusing flavours in an intelligent, surprising and authentic way, never resorting to anything gimmicky.
The cocktails are refreshing and I loved my Umeshu Sling, made with a Japanese plum liqueur, cherry brandy and Tanqueray Gin. A nice thirst quencher on a Sunday is the Korner House Mule, which mixes in lager and fresh ginger.
All in all, delightful dining that actually feels like a relaxed and rejuvenating brunch 😊
Heard a lot about this place and was looking forward to visiting The korner house. Finally did end up here with a bunch of buddies. If im not mistakened chef Vicky Ratnani is the in charge of the reins here and that attracted me more to try it out. Its got stiff competition from the neighbors like olives and ootb but im sure it will manage to make a mark of its own. The food was good and delectable. Ambience is very pretty. Quite classy and meant for special occasions to celebrate. Will surely cm bk again.
Nothing short of a visual bliss. The tastefully done interiors coupled with appealing options on the menu will stimulate your appetite even when hunger was absent. The place was aptly lit and we chose to sit indoor. We had called for classic baked cannelloni, honey dew iced tea and tiramisu for the finale. Overall, my experience was satisfying and I would come over here again.
The Korner House (TKH) is a classy restaurant located in the interior lanes of Khar and Bandra facing Out of the Blue. Trust me, I do not toss around the word "classy" without good reason. The restaurant is helmed by renowned Chef Vicky Ratnani and it brings to the table the very definition of the term "fine dine". When you enter the restaurant, you pass a rain shaded al-fresco with a singer and live music. Good place to be during cooler weather and if you are in for the music. If however, you are the

A nice place to hangout, chill with friends over weekends, for brunch. I liked the ambiance as it's open during the day time so natural sunlight. And during evening the indoor vibe is great. Good food, variety of options to eat in veg and non veg.
The bar menu is also huge with lots of options.
Do try their flatbreads and grilled items.
