A well known restaurant situated at Thakur Village, kandivali east. Saturday was spent well just because our family ordered delicious food from Konark Veg. Diet. The owner of the restaurant is a true gentleman.. coz he helped us order the best dishes from the menu. The portion provided is real good and also it was value for money. I recommend everyone to try at this restaurant if anywhere around.

It is suitable for youngsters as well as a family outing. Their menu encompasses a wide range of food options that is sure to tempt any of the aforementioned age groups.
Staff is polite and their service is pretty quick as well. One can rest assured and have a great time over here while having some delicious food, as we have had over the past few years.
We had the following from here :
▪️Paneer do Pyaza - The quantity was decent of this medium spicy gravy dish with soft chunks of paneer and layers of onion. Sliced onions were pan fried and complemented the soft and creamy taste of paneer. We loved it..😍
▪️Cheese Garlic Naan - Cheesy and topped with garlic pieces, this naan was too good on its own. It went well with the gravy and we recommend this combination from our side..😋
▪️Kulfi Falooda - Served in a bowl, instead of the more common way of it being served in a glass, it looked mouthwatering. Malai kulfi was yummy and went well with the other elements. Vanilla ice cream was excellent too. All in all it was a great way to end our meal..🤤

Konark is One of better veg dining restaurants located in Thakur village. This is place has a very good ambience with ample seating space . The place when we visited was hustling with people. They have an extensive menu ranging from
Light snacks , starters , main courses and desserts.
Here we tried their pav bhaji , veg spring roll , and fruit salad jelly with ice cream. The pav bhaji was extremely delicious very nicely prepared with pavs tossed in some masala and butter highly recommended when visiting here , the spring roll was nice and crispy with an amazing vegetable filling inside , the dessert too was delicious and was the perfect way to end a perfect evening. This place is highly recommended when looking for a dining place in Thakur village.
The ice cream fruit salad of this place is one of the best desserts I ever had. It’s healthy too.
In my foodie career or say in my life it's best hotel for veg hotel. I love paneer dish from this hotel. There are different varieties of paneer dish.i would like to suggest when you come this hotel you must try paneer dish. Whenever I come my fix dish is paneer and tandoori roti. Everything I like service, food etc.

Konark is a pure veg restaurant which is newly renovated. It is located near to Thakur college.
I've been visiting Konark from past 6 years now and frankly I've no complains.
It has AC as well as regular sitting.
The food tastes sooo good here. The staff is friendly and order service is quick. It is pocket friendly as well. The portion size is also sufficient.
I've tried almost all the dishes from the menu.
They have a good variety of north Indian sabzi's which is very tasty and quantity suffices 3 to 4 ppl.
The pizza taste takes me to my childhood when I had the first bite of pizza, here it tastes the same.
The desert choices are also very good.
There are many restaurants nearby, but I guess Konark is the first priority when in confusion.
They give home delivery as well.

Was wandering in kandivali East and stumbled upon this place. Konark veg diet located near thakur college. It has two sections..ac and non AC. Me and my friends sat in the ac section. The service was prompt. Ordered cheese pav Bhai . It was delightful. We also ordered triple Sichuan rice . The taste was emphatic. All in all a really good place for lunch with friends and family.

If you are in area like Borivali / kandivali you will find veg restaurant more than non veg restaurant. So for a non-vegetarian person it is difficult to select a veg restaurant among all. I have seen this hotel many a times but never thought of visiting it, but that day i was so hungry that i had no option left.
I was surprised by the ambience of the AC part, which is so clean and classy. Food was also tasty, Paneer chilli which was so damn fabulous, the quality of Paneer was brilliant. Hotel is pricy according to its quantity but it's ok because the locality it situated in and the taste & quality of the food.
Basically a decent veg restaurant nothing extraordinary just the quality of the food which they serve is awesome. Must visit if you are in thakkur Village.

Review: Since I'm on Vegetarian diet for time being, just happened to be at this place. This place was like a savior in Thakur village since there were no restaurants to be seen around. Getting back to food, we ordered veg biryani and paneer tikka masala (waiter suggestion since we wanted something spicy). Both were fantastic. The paneer was so soft, it just melted in the mouth. Very rare to find freshly made paneer in restaurant dishes. And the food was spicy but yet tasty. The quantity was good and we had the entire meal for Rs. 300, which I feel is good value for money. The service could have been better, but no major complaints. Definitely a thumbs up from me and vegetarians will love it for sure.

Food is great. This place gets busy very quickly but is big enough to accommodate plenty of people. But when it's busy the service gets slower.
We had ordered Mysore masala dosa and Masala dosa, it tasted just as south Indian it should. Mysore masala dosa was too buttery (some might like that) but at the end it was like too much. Sada masala dosa was great. The sambhar was sweet and chutney was tender.
