The Culture House
This place is made of Gujarati and Rajasthani Food Culture which is quite an authentic family restaurant and one of the best in the town. The menu is large with full of mouthwatering dishes like Dahi vada and other typical gujuarati\ Rajasthani food like kachori dhokla handva etc.
The interiors are so cool that they give you a taste of you being in a Rajasthani vintage restaurant.
amazing place surely will visit again after lockdown
Awesome food, service and ambience. Really authentic taste and every dish was tasteful. My new favourite restaurant.
Good interior, nice place, decent food, needs to improve on some areas like for dahi kachori, the kachori was still hard, menu is limited it can expand but must try place

DO VIST ONCE.
More than happy with my choice of this restaurant. Visited for the first time as I was in a mood for a Veg Binge . Started nervously with a Never heard before Bajra Soup and it was OMG fantastic!!
For Starters Had Bhutte ka Kees which is herbed grated roasted sweet corn which they serve with a huge fried rice papad - Was on equal par with how its originally served in Indore... in fact a touch better if you consider the papad as an accompaniment.
For the Main course it was a simple affair of Gujrati Style Pitlo with Hot jawar Bhakris. Finally for dessert Enjoyed a moong dal sheera. Overall a very nice place. And not very steep priced too.. Burped my way happily home!! Plan on going soon again with Family!!
Ambience - 3.5/5
Food - 4.5/5
Staff - 3.5/5 - very attentive to detail

Perfect place for a Sunday Family Dinner if you wanna have some on point Desi Food. Surti Lochu, their special Dhokla (I don't remember the name though but it's their special dishπ) and the Litchi Kofta sabzi and not to forget their special Daal Bati Churna were on point. A place must visit for people who love to have Desi Food.
Generous portions of food
Worth your money, pleasant ambience and polite staff

Great food with very good ambiance !!!
So many delicacies in jain food as well .
Good service by Dilavar singh
Awesome food and very different menu..authentic taste..n served very well by zameer..must visit place..
The place has some insane Gujarati food. Loved the fact that they serve authentic Surat coco and Locho. Their basic things like Khichu papad and chaas was something that I loved. Do visit this place if you want to have good Gujarati food.
Tried their mirchi jalebi chaat, special tch kofta, Bajra soup.
Everything was good.
Bajra soup felt warm and soothing. Some might prefer more toppings etc., Since it might be too plain for their taste.
The kofta was really tasty, like one would have at a good north Indian restaurant. They also gave a small bowl of dal makhani with that. The mirch achaar was Punjabi style. (5/5)
The jalebi chaat was like a nice, tangy Sev puri, with jalebi as the base. (4/5)
The service was hospitable. Good place to visit with family.
Nice food and polite service. A bit high on price but worth it. Good ambience as well. Good alternate to Soam since located close to it.Try it once.
The most delicious delicacies tasted recently. Very innovative menu. Friendly staff, amazing service and the vintage ambience just adds on to the mood of eating with pure joy. Jay Prakash provided us with perfect service and guidance through the menu as it was our first time. Definitely a place to be recommended to more people. A must visit for modern cuisine with our cultural essence!

The food was excellent .. so very tasty & delicious. Ambience is classic and the service By Mr. Jayparakash was excellent. All in all a very wonderful experience eating here.
Located in the lane adjacent to Wilson College, The Culture House was a great experiment to begin with. I had my reservations about trying fusion Gujarati food but I'm glad I tried it. The place is huge with a lot of seating area and the interiors are well made. It's a perfect ambience for a family gathering and the hospitality is great. The cuisine is typical Gujarati fusion food majorly and I loved whatever was ordered based on the table attendants recommendation.
-Tam Tam Khaman: Khaman dhokla covered with garlic and red chutney served with corriander chutney was a great starter.
-Jowar Bajari Falafel: The pita was made of Jowar and the falafel bullets were delicious. Served with a green-looking hummus, pickled beetroot and salad.
Overall, loved the hospitality and the ambience, the food was lovely as well.
Order:
1. Ice Dabeli - tasteless
2. Tam tam khaman - tasty
3. Jawar Bajri Desi Falafel - tasty
4. Kachori Dal Dhokli - yum
5. Bhakri Pizza - average
6. Farali Kand Samosa - supertasty
7. Farali Puran Poli - unique and delicious
8. Multigrain Paneer Methi Chilla- average
9. Jalebi Mirchi chaat - delicious
10. Chakri ni sev puri - can be missed
The ambience is nice. Service is good. But the place is not at all value for money! Somethings on the menu such as ice dabeli is literally tasteless. They can do much better at it.
I was expecting something better!!
Shout out to Mukesh for the amazing service!
Ambience π& Service by Dilawar & Mukesh was courteous π
Lovely place....but avoid rush hour on sundays. Food was very nice. Especially Tam tam khaman, handvo, jawar bajra falafel, ras ranjan aloo, shrikhand was yum and kolkatta pan biryani was amazing. Also the buttermilk (kutchi beer they call it) was tasty and filling. Overall good place, good food and not to mention...good service. We got table after 45 min wait but once we sat, food came real quick. Special mention for Mr. Dilaawar Singh (our server) who took good care of us. Thanx.
Jai who was serving us had great recommendation and was very sweet

7 star service by Mukesh. Amazing hospitality, mind boggling recommendations, lip smacking delicacies and authentic gujarati food! Must visit with Family! Highly recommended!
For those who like the gujrati food only. The servers Mukesh and dilawar are really nice.
Service was very good! The food was excellent - just that it could have been less spicy! But all in all great taste, good portions and well priced!
Shrikhand found stained, Alu subzi test was also not proper.
They're nice. Polite and kind
Great service from Mr dhiravat and excellent quality food. Sumptuous feel and a soothing ambiance. Culture is embedded in every dish.
We had visited on a Saturday afternoon,as we were a big group, the private dining was very comfortable and warm. Mr.Dilewar Singh, was very diligent and efficient. All in all it was a great experience.
Dilawar singh given good service n polite.
Ambience 5/5
Food 5/5
Service 5/5
One of the few places that gets every aspect of a dining experience right. One of the best desi fusion restaurants we've gone to. Had several items from their farali menu as well as regular menu and all were close to perfect. Tamtam khaman, locho, saamo with purple Thai curry, jalebi chaat were all lip smacking. Jaggery iced tea was unique. Service was prompt and efficient. Would love to visit again
Very friendly and pleasant staff to start with. Ambience is vintage kingdom. Food has a unique mix of authentic flavor with modern tadka. Must try
We tried jalebi mirchi chat and it was mind blowing.
All other dishes sujjested by staff was finger licking good.
I must say its amazing
This place, The Culture house can truly give you a cultural revisit. With such a royal look of the ambience, pristine wall decors, great team who serves each & every customer with utmost politeness & gratitude. So you'd ask us why did we visit this restaurant? It has that pure vegetarian feel on display with delectable taste of dishes which justifies our selection of the restaurant.
They the most beautiful ambience! It has a very royal decor. The outlet is like a smaller version of a Royal Palace. The service provided by them is astonishing! We really really loved the food!β€π
The all Indian delicacies we tried out:
1. Choka Khichu.
2. Pyaaz Kachori Chaat.
3. Ras Ranjan Aloo Puri with Shrikhand.
4. KitKat Frankie.
5. Kesariya Doodh Rabdi.
1. Choka Khichu:
For people who do not know what Khichu is, it is simply love for us! It is a simple yet very delicious breakfast! It's a Gujrati dish that is made of the dough that is used to make khichiya papad and it a mild spicy and a delicious breakfast to have!
2. Pyaaz Kachori Chaat:
Being a resident of Mumbai you definitely have a different kind of love for Pyaaz Kachori. This is a fusion of Pyaaz Kachori and dahi Kachori!π
3. Ras Ranjan Aloo Puri with Shrikhand:
This is like a Thali filled with so much love! It has hot served puris, aloo along with shrikhand!π
4. KitKat Frankie:
This is like a dessert for an adult and a meal for the kid inside you!π
5. Kesariya Doodh Rabdi:
The Kesariya Doodh Rabdi is a delicacy from Rajasthan and being from Rajasthan we absolutely loved it!β€π
Ambiance is royal. Awesome staff. Awesome food ice orange coffee, tam tam khaman, jalebi mirchi chaat, bhakri pizza, rinna no olo with bajri rotlo, achari khichdi and at the end desert yummy madhur milan
The Culture House can give you a culture revisit. Pristine wall decors, an excellent team dealing with customers with utmost politeness and respect, The Culture House gives you an experience that goes beyonds the realms of gastronomy. Pure vegetarian food on display with the delectable taste is what justified our selection of the restaurant for the Sunday dinner. We were a group of 10 people and being Sunday evening, it took us 30-45 mins to get seating but the wait was well worth it.
Items ordered:
1) Chakri Sevpuri - unique twist to Sevpuri with the base comprising of a Chakri instead of the normal Puri. Worth a try!
2) Bhakri Pizza - change of bases but good in taste!
3) Kurkure Dabeli Shots - Small buns with dabeli masala filled in between and Kurkure scrambled on the sides
4) Pyaaz Kachori Chaat - pure heaven!π
5) Bhutte ki Kees - Looks can be deceptive. Will look bland as such but packs a punch of flavour in it
6) Sasuma no Handvo - well cooked but found it lacking the spices
7) Khichu Khowsuey - avoidable.. not necessarily a good combination
8) Kolkata Pan Biryani - just go for this dish! Unique taste with an even more unique raita to accompany
9) Papad Chura
Sweets ordered:
1) Rabdi - good consistency, great taste and thankfully low on sugar
2) Kalakand - If nothing else, visit TCH only for this! πππππ
3) Moong dal halwa - Nothing I speak about this wonderous creation can describe the taste
Drinks ordered:
1) Thandai - great taste, nothing to complain!
2) Shikanji - ordered it at the wrong moment but taste was decent
3) Surti Coco - good taste but found it diluted with the presence of ice in it
4) Lime soda - standard item, can't go wrong
Overall Rating:
Ambience - 4.5/5
Food - 4.5/5
Hospitality - 5/5
Overall - 5/5
Keep it up and will surely visit to try the other items on the menu! - with Kevin Shah, Dhaval Vashi, Nisha Vashi, Sangita Parmar and 5 others.
Coming from a gujarati household, I rarely choose to eat Gujarati inspired food outside. Today at TCH we chose to eat some. It's probably the best I've ever eaten. Dilawar Singh was the person attending my table and he suggested food that we should eat. It really was a nice taste pallete across the board and loved the food we ate. It's a must visit.
Good food good ambience good services special service given by dilavat sing, nizam & Mukesh we had sasumaa handhwa that was ok ok and we had panner 1 vegetable that was good
Totally different type of experience and ambience. Mr. dilawar Singh was very humble and confident in his work. Must visit this place atleast once
Awesome service, ambiance and music...... served by Mr.Dilwar singh... with Unique Dishes we had..... bhakari pizza....kichu..... jalebi sev puri.....damrru paan.... kala ..... many moreπππ
Great twist on traditional Gujju and Rajasthani food. Server Dilawar Singh was very courteous and his suggestions were mouth watering. Damru paan was the best.
Coming back soon.
Beautiful ambiance and nice food. Good and warm service too. Dilawar who served us food was prompt and helped us choosing menu. Must visit place.
10/10 for this place. This place is too good !! This place have rajasthani attire and the interiors are so amazing... They dont have variety of food you may want but they do have many things... The cost is also okaish as it gives you the best service.. This place is unique... Instead of finger bowl you may expect something unique.. Very unique... Instead of finger bowl they have a vas in which they pour water on our hands.. Not a normal vas.. Go for it and then see... If you want a place with good taste and best interiors then this is the one... GO FOR IT !
Excellent food. Had such good khichdi and Dal bhati churma after a long time. Fantastic service by Shri.Dilawar Singhji was icing on the top.
Wonderful experience and amazing interiors. The ambience was very nice and the we loved the food. Also our attendant Mr. Dilawar was a great host. Well done!!!!
Delicious food and amazing ambience. Great service by Mr.Dilawat Singh.
Recommend: Surti Coco
Jalebi mirchi chaat, tam tam khaman and Mexican bhel.
Authentic Indian cuisine restaurant. Nice Indian cultural ambience. Service are good. We order bhakti pizza ( more taste of bhakti then pizza stuffing they can improve) , Mac and cheese burger and kand and sabudana handvo for fasting food items. There are lot more items to explore in meal section.
Being a hardcore non vegetarian, really savored this delightful food. Everything from the decor, to the food to the service was impeccable. Our server Dilawar was such a heartwarming soul. Loved everything m. Iβm definately coming back with friends and family again.
They have variety of Desi Food with twist..Got Amazing jain food with promt service by Mr.Dilawar.. must come place for great food with soothing ambience.
excellent place with excellent service even the ambience is good. Don not forget to try the "Tam tam khaman" and "madhur milan".The only thing, little expensive
The look and feel of the place is royal... really had seen it on the way once and went to try it...ambience is really nice...coming to the food lil disappointed with Surat Coco and pyaaz kachori chat...in terms of taste if you have eaten the items before you know the authentic taste....so I didn't like them as they weren't like the original one...pyaaz kachori had no pyaaz...while Coco was like a normal Chocolate milkshake and lacked thickness consistency...while what won my heart was kand sabudana handvo...this dish made my day...must try if you like kand...the extra π is just for this dish...would love to try other dishes and visit the place again
What a best place to visit even on weekends. Although they asked us to wait for a good 45mins, we got a table before that. Every minute waited was worth the food we had.Right from Kurkure Dabeli shots, Bengali Dahi wada, Jalebi Chaat, Puri and Aloo sabji with Srikhand and last one pan biryani served with pan raita everything tasted just amazing. The portion was enough for a group of 4. The staff was polite and was very quick with their service. A kid friendly restaurant too which had so much variety for them too. There were also good options for people looking out to have yummy food while fasting. The desserts also seemed good.
I'm going to definitely recommend this place a must visit and I'm going to visit this again to try out the other stuff that we missed ordering today. All in all a 5/5 for taste, presentation, hygiene, ambience and comfortable seating.
Great food and options! Lichi kofta and khousey khichu is our if the world. Our server, dilawar singh, was very courteous and delightful. Super service!
Visited yesterday. Good Place to dine. The ambience is good. Good twist in some traditional cusine. Pittadu ki Sabzi and Takkar Roti , Kolkata Pan Biryani are not to be missed. Mr. Milind and Zameer were very helpful and took good care of us.
This is a really nice place, I came here with my father for lunch. The staff is very courteous and the food is also very hygienic. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, who wants to try simple Gujarati and Rajasthani food.
The desserts are also super yummy. Mr. Santosh was our server and was really helpful, he explained us everything soo well.
Excellent ambience. A very very feel good decor. Menu also here, is very interesting. They have tried to include many cuisines.... and also there is traditional as well as continental cuisine.
Portions are big enough.
I wish them all the best
Superb food and excellent service. The perfect combo. We were a group of 12 people ( old and young) and the consensus was that the food was delicious. We ordered a variety of starters and everything we ordered was mouthwatering. I ordered the ringna no olo (baigan bharta) for the main course and it was to die for. All other meals were equal good. Will be visiting again as I want to try other things on the menu. After very long I found a place where the food is the main draw. They have fusionised the gujju snacks in their starters but itβs very nice. Go ahead and give this one a try!
The place was great more than i imagined. It had beautiful ambience and the food in here wass too good to satisfy our tastebuds. It turned out into a beautiful experience. The staff in here was courteous enough to take care of their customersβ taste and choices. Would definitely recommend this place for friends and family.

We had a group of 20 dining in today for my parents anniversary and we had an absolutely wonderful time..a special mention to Ishwar and Santosh who took all care to ensure we had a great evening ....I highly recommend this place and suggest that you go with a big group so that you can sample their extensive menu...the summer platter with its Alu dum is a bomb dish and an absolute must have
Amazing food n ambience n service .. loved it
Traditional food great taste ... great place to be in south mumbai ... jalebi mirchi chaat ... pardad paneer was just awesome
The interior of the restaurant is too good to give a good feeling. Plus the staff is very polite. Food is something just amazed me with fusion of Gujarati and western world. Loved the Fusion Khowsuey, Surti locho and Bhakhri Pizza. Noticed that large part of the food is healthy and hence can eat without guilt. And all that with reasonably priced menu. It's surely a visit, atleast once.
Polite staff.. amazing food with good taste. Also, Hanif and Santosh from the staff were very helpful. Though more jain options need to be added to menu but it was still fun.
