The Restaurant welcomes you with a traditional like door with Lion faced Handle . Thereās massive wall entering on the left side which represents the look of Haveli .They have a wheel chair accessibility too .
We tried TBH ki khasiyat and Veg sizzling Toffani along with parathas . The veg sizzling toffani comes with chopped vegetable on sizzling try.
We also tried Beiruti Hummus with zatar Pita ,Papad Churi,Cheese Tukdi, and many more dishesļæ½ .
For desserts we tried Moon Dal Sheera & Motichoor Gulab Jamun Parfait ļæ½The food and ambiance is very Good.

And for two ppl dey insisted on sitting at d ground floor set up as mezzanine is meant for big groups... on insisting dey did allow us for d mezzanine and we r glad as d ambience der is comparatively better... and has that typical small colourful wooden chairs wid Indian art work.. D typical Rajasthani touch...

From food to staff to ambience, this place deserves praise. Completely veg, their food is a must try if you want good Indian food. Their staff also has differently abled wait staff and servers and must say they are the most warm and willing hosts I've come across, full points to them for being so warm and always willing to help. Try their tomato basil, chole and dal makhni with some kulchas and chapati, simple but tasty. While they are value for money being on gold just adds to it.
The food was good , worth spending money here . For all the Jain foodie people ,you guys can visit this place and enjoy your food . I would give 4.5 for the food , 4 for the ambience and 3.5 for the for the service
Very good experience..staff was very friendly esp mohit who is very hard working and warm...we had ordered papad churi which is a must have dish...paneer lifafa; yumm.. Daal batti churma which was very rich in taste..sev tomato sabzi..but the best dish was ola with bajra roti..very authentic..overall a good place with polite staff and comfortable ambience..

The Bombay Havelli! - the name sounded really funky when my friend told me about the hotel which he runs.Ā
He hadĀ givenĀ me a rough idea about the menu prior to my visit and I was damn excited to try out their dishes. I went there on a Saturday afternoon.Ā
Ambience:-
The first thing that caught my attention is the humongous mural on the wall on the left. It adds a charismatic vibe to the entire place!Ā
Then I noticed a strange device located right next to the stairs. It was an electronic chair to assist the disabled /elderly/pregnant women to reach theĀ Mezzanine floor. Turns out that this is one of the very few restaurants in MumbaiĀ that have such a facility.Ā
Although the restaurant is capable of hosting 90 people, it is certainly not one of those places which will make you scream on top of your voice to talk to your buddies sitting right across theĀ table. So the music volume is just about perfect.Ā
Service:-
The service was extremely quick in the afternoon. The staff really know their dishes and can help you not only decide which dish to order butĀ also suggestĀ customizations specific to your order. But what really touched my heart is the fact that they have employed a couple of differently abled staff members. At first it is almost impossible to figure it out as they would do their tasks swiftly & serve youĀ with a smile.Ā
Food:-
The food is totally 'hatke'. It's a refreshing break from the regular food that we can expect from restaurants.Ā
We ordered the following:
Chhaas: Plain and simple
Farsan platter: It had a bunch of mouth watering items, but I particularly likedĀ the cheese tukdi.Ā
Paneer lifafa: This is a must have item. Your visit will be incomplete without it.Ā
Khichiya papad:Ā This was the Baap of masala papads. It is served in a bhel form so you can have it with a spoon thereby eliminating the need to get your handy messy. Watch out for the huge quantity though.Ā
I underestimated the size of theĀ starters and so I went a little easy on the main course. A good point to note is that you get to order the main course items in either Large or Regular quantities. I went with the regular ones:
Veg Tawa Masala: This was similar to the oneĀ we get at marriage ceremonies. You can't go wrong with this!Ā
Chapatis: FreshlyĀ made chapatis oozing with ghee added a homely feel to the food
Veg biryani: They use extra long grain rice and it makes a lot of difference to the overall taste of the biryani. Needless to say it was generous with vegetables
Desserts:-Ā (Why else did you think we went with regular plates in the main course :P)Ā
Motichoor Gulab Jamun Parfait:Ā It had a Gulab jamun at it's base, covered with motichoor and at the very top was a layer of Rabdi.Ā
It was served in a mini glass. Best part is thatĀ you get 3 such glasses in one order :D
Last words....Ā
To sum it up, I felt that the management have put a lot of thought in not just the food that they serveĀ but also the manner in which they deliver their service. As I knew the co-owner, I got a chance to sneak peak into the kitchen. It was nice andĀ clean. I was told that they ensure thatĀ there is no food wastage. They happily donate their leftover food everyday to an NGO that caters to the underprivileged.Ā The staff seemed like a happy lot and according to me, this is the mainĀ reason why they are able to bring a smile on their customers.Ā

1. Dal Baati Churma - The dal was less in quantity which makes this dish somewhat dry if you are sharing with another person. Not quite the best one I had so I'd not recommend this one.
2. Lasagna - Good to serve 2 people. I would recommend this one.
3. Cheese Pizza - Good to serve 2 people, would again recommend this.
4. Dal Khichdi - Good to serve 2-3 people, again would recommend this one.

This place is one of the most ethnic restaurants Iāve seen in Mumbai. Quite reflecting of our culture. The same goes for their very diverse menu. Theyāve employed specially abled people as well in their staff which was heart melting. The quality and taste of the food was homelike. The cherry on the cake was their 3 in 1 desert (Rabdi, Moti choor laddoo and Gulab Jamun). Worth every penny āØšš¼

They have special Jain food too. Now added to this Bombay Haveli has staff of disabled people which makes it more special to see how efficiently they work. Great thing to appreciate "Bombay Haveli".

However They have multiple cuisines as well which taste great.
The papad churi is really amazing and should not be missed.

All this for 2 people in lunch was pretty good.

The Bombay Haveli, I think itās more like a hidden gem because itās difficult to spot it if you are new to the area.
But itās a nice place, simple yet good. The food is also simple and traditional, youāll get traditional gujrati and rajhastani and if you want to have super authentic you must try this place.
We went here yesterday and the Undhiyo festival is going on, I was excited about it. I was a little disappointed on it.
But then we ordered khichdi and kadi and bbq paneer pizza which were pretty decent.
Itās not super expensive either, so if you are in the locality and you are in a mood for some traditional food you must check it out.

This is not the reason why i am giving them 5 stars but its for the food that was amazing.

š½ Rajwaadi Dhokli : loved the textures and the softness when you cut through the crisp layer at the top and same goes with the taste.Something tender and tasted awesome with the cutneys.
š½ Kolokitchi ( we did get complimentary zatar pita ) : This is the first time i liked hummus. By just the name never ordered it nywhere but boy i had a twist here..totally loved the dish and star of this dish were the zucchini chips which were fried in conflour batter and they were really amazing and we ordered extra chips later as we loved it so much.
š½ Gulkand Rabri with Jalebis : Perfect Rabri and fresh and perfect jalebi made it a perfect dessert for us. Loved it.
Next Time will be trying ringan no olo and udhiyu for sure here..

One of the most amazing place to eat, especially for vegetarians. We found this place out of nowhere on our way to chowpatty ganesh visarjen. We tried booking a table online but weren't successful. So we decided to hop in directly. We got a table in a giffy. Food was amazing, out of the world. And the most amazing feature is that they have a chair for old people, specially abled and pregnant women.

I understand that traditional rajasthani food is your speciality but apart from that its my suggestion that you keep one more regular section in your Menu. Regular section means i was searching for panjabi food in your Menu, i found panjabi sabjis in Menu but i didnt find Naan or Kulcha due to which i drop to order punjabi food. So apart from your speciality if you add something regular items in your Menu such as Idli, Wada, Dosa, Pav Bhaji and Proper Punjabi food items than it will leads your customers to visit again and again to your reaturant as we will have a multiple choice to order. In today's trend people loves to eat food in restaurant and you have a nice restaurant, but people always dont eat traditional or rajasthani food. They want multiple choice. Even a regular food option will do which will leads us to visit again.

The nachos was the best dish Iāve ordered, it tastes so good shuld definitely visit for nachos so cheesy and the salsa sauce was so yumm.....
This zomato gold partner and one of the newest eateries in the locality surely knows how to match up with the expectations in terms of ambience and taste. Had a plate of sizzling vegetables and palak paneer, and the taste was just brilliant. The rotis here are non tandoori and is full on "ghar ka khana" types. We enjoyed our meal here and would definitely be back for trying few more dishes.

The first thing that catches your eye is the beautiful wall painting depicting the traditional village scenary . The seating arrangement has a royal touch to it. We ordered the global platter which was yum. It's a must when you order it. Other dishes we ordered were gatte ki sabzi with roti, Alfredo pasta and jalebi rabari. The jalebi rabari was too delicious. Overall we were highly satisfied with our visit.

Small place.. ambience may not be quite like a haveli. But service was pretty quick and food fresh. Portions were just right for two. Mostly employs differently abled. There is a unique chair lift for differently abled to get to the first floor where there are bigger tables and small rest room. The rest room has a water closet with 'safe seat' too. Thali is not in the menu.

Food is damn tasty but the quantity will make you think twice before revisiting.
According to the quantity of food the price is too much, but still its in South Bombay so justified.
Me being a hard core Non vegetarian rarely goes to a pure veg restaurant. But at Bombay havelli I was in for a surprise.
What stood out the most was the quality and taste of the food.

In main course we had ordered lasagne and paneer pulaav.
I am pretty sure u order any dish here and your taste buds are going to love it.
I have cut 1 star only bcoz of the maintainance of the restaurant. it's just been a year and you can see cracks in the wall, paint come off , not pleasing to the eye.
But as long as veg food goes this is a place to visit
Located In Opera House , Charni Road which is walkable distance from charni road Station. All staff members are so supportive here. Very good authentic Gujarati dishes are served here along with punjabi and italian dishes. I have tried chole puri and panner lababdar and both were so yummy and delicious. Various options to try in dessert also. Overall Very Good place to dinein. All Gujjus must visit this place.
Ambience is good and so is the food. Staff is very polite and helpful. Seated elevator available for old/handicapped. Appetisers/Coolers are worth trying.
