We visited this place with your friends to taste this amazing place.Totally as per the expectations. Taste is just superb & everything delicacy is as per the name very tasty. The pricing of all the dishes is also very cost friendly. All the chicken & mutton delicacies were perfect on taste. Trued King Prawns too but i felt the price too high & taste not upto the mark. Anyone whose a fan of Arab delicacies should surely visit once

Savoury restaurant is in fort near benazeer house. Ambience was quite good and awesome. Food we ordered was yummy and tasty. Soup was amazing I loved it.

Tried hummus and pita bread which was something simple but yet authentic in taste. The staff is also polite and courteous and they also help you in suggesting some food items as some of their names in menu is quite confusing 😁

A nice place to hangout with family and friends. Must visit this place for it's good food and humble staff. Must try some Arabic food. We ordered Bbq chicken and chicken Lawabdar with some butter naan and roti. Everything was excellent. 5 on 5 for food, quality, quantity and ambiance. It also serves complimentary soup which was equally tasty.

Staff is courteous to get you through the menu as it is really difficult to guess the dish upon its Arabic name.

It contains around 18 pieces of kebab (chicken and mutton )
Platter have mutton seekh,malai tikka ,tandoori chicken and chicken wings and mutton chaap .

Really dont have any idea what was it with ice cream on the top and covered with sweet sewai .

Great service and outstanding food. We were a huge group of 11 so we ordered a lot of things and all of them were flavourful and upto the mark. The complimentary soup in the beginning is the highlight and I absolutely loved it.
Also loved their cheese Zartar naan and hummus.

Masaledar Murgh ki Chaap is must here. Alfaham is great and chops are luscious. Ambience is amazing and great for both couple and family. I think it's amazing and even better than Taj and Oberoi. You get taste here with justified rate

We were intending to eat at a popular Sizzler joint just across and happened to notice this restaurant. So we looked up on Zomato for reviews and they sounded interesting, so we walked in. It was 10.45pm on a Monday and the place was buzzing with people. The interiors are pleasant and welcoming, and the staff was courteous. The gentleman taking the orders was fairly decent and guided us very well about different dishes. We had a fair idea about mandi and a few Arab dishes, but this place has a good variety on its menu. The complimentary soup/bone broth given before the meal which is customary in restaurants in Dubai, was quite comforting. We ordered for some Arabian mutton seekh. It was quite flavourful, considering Arab food is generally non spicy for Indian taste buds. We wanted to try the lamb ribs and on the recommendation of the captain, we decided for Reyash. It was perfectly made, very succulent and tender meat with a nice flavor. Would highly recommend this dish. Both the meat dishes were served with hummus and garlic mayonnaise on the side. Finally our order for laham mandi arrived. The captain recommended that we order just a quarter portion of the mandi as we had already eaten two mutton dishes earlier. So he downsized our half portion to a quarter which was really nice of him. He could have easily ignored and let us pay for a larger portion. The mandi rice was mildly spiced but quite flavourful and the meat pieces cooked to perfection. This is a very light kind of arabian biryani and Indians may find it a bit light and bland in comparison to Indian Biryani. We were quite full after eating the mandi rice and declined the desserts. Overall our experience was pretty good. If you are a hard core non vegetarian and fond of mutton and arab cuisine in particular, then this is a great place for you. We were happy with our experience and will definitely visit again to explore the other dishes there.
The only negative of this restaurant is that it is slightly higher priced. A meal of three dishes for two persons set us back by Rs. 1500. So don't go by the pricing Zomato has given. Overall, a good experience.
Very rare to find authentic Arabian food in Mumbai and Savoury totally pleases your taste budz , also there is a variety of options available for vegetarians too and if your not fond of Arabian food there are other options too like Seafood , North Indian , Chinese.

Started having the sharwmas when I learnt about this place tried them all , loved the Mexican shawarma. Tried the biryani, chicken paaya soup is given complimentary. Then switched to the combo meals during the lunch hour. I loved the ambience , the staff is courteous and the captain recommended things to try. Would love to try more .
Food was awesome giving a different taste for your tongue. The soup in the start and fish barbeque was awesome. Finally the mandi with lamb ribs and rice was definitely up to the mark. But the hotel is bit too expensive.
Genuinely Arabic in nature! The ambience, service and menu well and truly make you feel youre in for something authentic. Went here for dinner last nite. We were greeted with a complimentary mutton stock soup which was great! In starters we tried the open shawarama, keema roll, fried chicken, lamb ribs and afghani grilled chicken. Fried chicken and lamb ribs were good, the rest frankly nothing great but not the restaurants fault, its the taste which does not suit our palate. For mains we had the mutton mandhi - flavoured rice with meat and it was amazzzzzing! So much that we called for a repeat! Also called for butter chicken with garlic naan, thanks to a friend who wanted something Indian - this was a good option too. Service was quick and polite! Prices are steep- Recommended if you want to try something new!

Absolute delight! A must try for meat lovers. This place has a good ambiance, courteous staff and good food. You cannot go wrong and could not ask for more. Would recommend trying the Arabic food as it is the speciality. A wholesome experience and highly recommended. There is so much more we wanted to try. Definitely going to visit again.

This is my third visit to this place. They will always start of your meal by giving you a complimentary paya soup which is a treat for your senses. It's their way of saying Hello. They had me at Hello.
Moving on if you're a group of 4 or more go in for the platter.
There are three basic types of rice concotions served with meat to choose from. None will disappoint you.
The ambience is great for Family and Friends and the Hospitality is certainly unparalleled.

A newly opened joint in the by lanes of fort(Colaba) serving some authentic Arabian food.
We tried this beautifully made dish and when it comes to Arabian we had to try their shawarma’s.
Arabian special is shawarma cut into tiny pieces layered with creamy mayonnaise sauce and topped with sweet date chutney sprinkled with some pomegranate served along with salad and french fries.
A good dish serving atleast 4 people at the cost for ₹400/-

The extra star is for the staff. The food wasn't that great. Not saying it is bad but if you call it Savoury, then I expect some more taste. We had the Chicken Tikka Roll and Hyderabadi Dum Biryani. It was quite good but we were expecting better.
What I really liked is the staff. They were very welcoming and courteous. Surprisingly, the food was served within a very less time of ordering. The waiters serve you your food elegantly and make sure that every other helping is served by them only. Small things but they do matter!

Arabian speciality if this restaurant is the best. Their USP is Arabian . I think one if the best restaurant for Arabian food alost nearing the taste of what we get in dubai . Mandi was perfect n mind blowing a must try I shud say mutton mandhi laham ,mutton chops which is called riyesh barbeque perfect ingredients of spices n medium rare done, mushakkal salad again a added flour to the food, iffa dajaj with khubus was also gud , hamus was freshly made with olives on top .. altogether enjoyed the food n very polite manager Mr Asif did his best to satisfy the customers.

October 2018: My first visit to this place wasn't very great. I was pretty sceptical about the recent visit. But I was definitely in for a surprise.
Service-Inadequate staff. But quick and friendly service.
Food-Limited options in the vegetarian section. The hummus platter was great as always. The dal soup tasted like Maharashtrian varan. The hummus was amazing. The sizzler was sweet.
Non veg food was amazing- The meat platter had tenderly cooled meat from chicken to red meat. The mutton soup was amazing. The Mandi rice with dates was delicious. The beverage Arabian pulpy drink was amazing. Overall a better experience than last time.

Ambience: Classy, spacious with a pleasing sitting arrangement. When we went the place was empty.
Service: Quick and friendly.
Food: We ordered the following dishes:
-Mushakkal salad- It was a mix of salad hummus, vegetable salad, greens etc. It was beautifully plated and served with pita breads and dips. It was nice and refreshing
Iffa dajaj & Thourm dajaj - Some of the pieces of meat were extra cooked. Some were cooked perfect while some were charred. The fish was stale though.
Kunaffa- The dessert was good.
Just too good. Best hummus in town! Jacob was the sweetest attendant, ask for him there and he'll suggest the best dishes. Certainly going back for more again!

Newly renovated with a decent bt elegant interiors and very attentive and friendly staff. Had ifaf dajaj and mandhi laham. Very exquisite arabian dishes. Similar taste i had having arabic cuisine in dubai. Missed on having Kunafa, so will be going again.

First of all, don't be distracted if you find the waiters here non-arabian or something. They're all knowledgeable.

The best item was the biryani, but only when eaten with the funky orange sauce they provide. Kunafa is special here, probably more because of the ice-cream. The restaurant is spacious. Enquire about seats before heading there.
Been waiting to try this place for a long time for its authentic Arabic food. My wife and I have both spent a significant amount of time in the middle East and every now and then crave the food from there. Savoury didn't disappoint. Everything we ordered was just great. We were a bit disappointed when they informed us that Kapsa wasn't available but the waiter suggested to try the Majboos which we found to be similar and delicious. The Al Faham chicken although less meaty, had a very familiar taste from the middle east and the muttabal salad was fresh and tasty. The khunafa wasn't the best though.
Want to try middle eastern food. Then this is the place. Excellent management. Excellent staff and waiter, they know their menu very well. Must try here are the Arabic biryani like majbooj, Mandi and many more. Starter are also so so good. Khunafa is my all time favorite. Milkshakes are also good.
All the food was great. The grill chicken is served with 2 glass mojito & salad that was very nicely decorated and presented. Mutton Soup was also worth trying. Ambience is good and you will also get parking in this area easily if you go for dinner.

Very good place. This is a very good place and different taste specially If you want to try something different than moglai, punjabi etc. If gives you taste of Irani or Arabian foods. Services is also very good. Staff is also humble and well trained.

Good arabic food in south mumbai. Best is available at horizon in navi mumbai. Price is too high for the proportion. Deserts are ok. Must try clop meshwi. All mutton items have less meat and more bone. Try fish and mandi rice. Embience is ok. Late service. Complimentary paya soup is ok.

Authentic and delicious Arabic Food. We are not well versed with Arabic Food names, but the guy who took order was very helpful in suggesting good veg and non veg items as per our specific needs... also the food photos was mentioned on tv too, so it was easier for us to decide what we want... the course was started with complimentary non veg soup... i think it was stew... we ordered some salad.. I don't remember the exact name but it was maroosh or something similar... it was variety of all salads including 2 pita breads... so it was good to try variety in 1 dish.... next we ordered 1 non veg starter and 1 french fries... non veg starter was something like chicken strips... it was delicious and French fries were good too... we followed it by rice... it was ok... we ordered for caramel custard but it was not available, no desserts were available except ice cream... it was bad though.. but food was very yum... recommended place...
