The ambience of this restaurant is very nice and simple. You have seating options as 2/3/4/6/8 that can be doubled as per requirement. Food is delivered to the table in a span of 15 minutes from the time of order. Their menu is has so many options, that I couldn't decide at first. Ended up taking chicken lollipop, garlic butter naan and chicken kadai. The chicken lollipop was authentic,hot and fresh with 8 pieces served. The garlic butter naan had literal garlic pieces and a light coating of butter, not too greasy, not too little. The chicken kadai was spicy but the flavours are very well balanced with the naan. Try them out the next time you're here.
We were a total of 14 people for lunch and thus we decided to call from Golden wave as they are known for value for money and good taste. What a good decision it was.We called for lasooni kebabs and chicken tandoori for our office party and it was spectacular. The lasooni was nice and tender and had tons of garlic. it was a yellow colored kebab. The chicken tandoori was nice and succulent and we thoroughly enjoyed it too.as some of yus were vegetarians, we called for paneer Golconda and it was really tasty. The paneer was in a red masala -dry gravy. You guys should try this out. Especially recommend the food.Next time will try the Chinese and Italian from the menu. nice!

A restaurant which has this class and elegance. Though the restaurant is not so huge, the seatings are well placed and the ambience is decent. I went here with my colleague. The place is near to highway. The staff is attentive and has the knowledge of all it’s food. So when i went here the place was packed. We got our seatings. Mixed veggies kebabs with some great texture and taste. The Kebabs were soft and were tasty.
Veg Eclair-
These were fried veggies rolls with cheese stuffings inside, absolutely crispy and lip smacking taste. Enjoyed this one very much.
Paneer Galkonda-
A spicy appetizer which has paneer cubes minced with red gravy. Served with chopped veggies.
Mocktails-
Green Cooler-
A marvellous mocktail which had khus sharbat, sabja and sprite. Totally fabulous. It was very much relaxing.
Alphonso Sizzle-
Alphonso pulp with vanilla ice cream and rose syrup, in three layered presentation. I wished it was more chilled. The taste was supreme.
Main course-
Veg Falguni-
This sabzi was having all the veggies with red gravy and cheese and garlic toppings on it. I wouldn’t recommend this one. Average dish.
Paneer Maharaja-
Now this was the real deal. Cottage cheese with thick and spicy gravy.

Kulcha was better than butter naan, the kulcha is worth trying.

Phirni-
Disappointed with the dessert, was expecting more from dessert, specially from Phirni. They should improve there dessert.
The Appetisers and mocktails were amazing, main course too was satisfying. They need to work on there Desserts. Also they should also maintain some hygiene on the table which food is served. Service and staff is good. You can visit here with your family or friends to have spend some good time.
Service is excruciatingly slow, though food is great. Always busy during lunch hours as office is nearby. Chapatis can be improved while curries are best

There are places which are there in Mumbai since a long time and are still going strong, all thanks to their amazing hospitality, and service and the loyalty of their customers towards them! I recently came across one such place located in Santacruz East, Golden Wave! It is located on the main road, so during afternoon, parking should not be a problem! During peak hours, during evening time, may be, parking can be an issue.
Being in the vicinity since 25 years, Golden Wave has created and crafted a niche for itself in the area which they are located! They are currently serving Indian, Continental, and Chinese delicacies and the portion sizes are quite good as per the price for which they are offered! The ambiance and the interiors gives a rustic feel to it!
I was invited by the kind people at Golden Wave to try out some of their delicacies and while I was quite excited to try out their amazing stuff, as I was very fascinated by the variety of dishes on offer, but I was also a bit sceptical as to whether my travel till Santracruz will be worth it or not?! But, boy, was I proved wrong! I visited on a Wednesday Afternoon for Lunch and the restaurant was bustling and was jampacked with people! We managed to find a seat and were greeted by Mr. Vijay, whose service was top notch and the hospitality was amazing! He recommended us some of the best dishes from their Oh So Vast Menu! The owner, Mr. Saniddhya himself came over and asked for the feedback, and asked for inputs as to how to improvise in different areas, that was the best part!
As it was a tasting, and I wanted to try a bunch of different dishes, I had called for small portions to make sure there was no wastage of Food! The actual portion sizes will be more than that as shown!
Coming down to what all I sampled!
In the Appetizers, I would highly recommend you all to try out their Butter Garlic Prawns! The Prawns were perfectly cooked and had the perfect balance of Butter and Garlic, very subtle flavours, this was one of the best dishes of the day! 😍 The Tandoori Prawns were perfectly grilled and had the perfect char on them! 😍 The Murg Banjaara Kebab was delicious too!
The only thing which I think they need to work on is their Mocktails section! They need to introduce some varieties in their Mocktails!
In the Main Course, I tried two of their Rice Dishes, the Chicken Peking Rice, which was really different and was quite flavourful! The Prawns Dum Biryani was covered with Roti, and was quite different! The Rice and the Prawns were perfectly cooked and there was a perfect balance of a flavours in the Biryani! 😍
The Desserts section was one of the best parts and they have a variety of Desserts in their Menu! They also have two Chef's special creations as well! I tried their Kesar Pista Phirni, which was thick, and rich in flavour! The Honeymoon Special, a dessert plate which has luscious scoops of Icecreams, on a bed of Sponge Cake topped with Dryfruits and Raisins was amazingly flavourful! 😍 The only thing which they really need to improvise here is to use a little less Rose Syrup, in the Sponge Cake, to reduce the sweetness a little!

This is a complete go to place place when you are with your family. It has a very nice Ambience and the food is absolutely lovely. This is a very old and a popular place in Santacruz East and is here since about 10 years.
Along with amazing food they have a nice range of cocktails and mocktails which we highly recommend highly recommend. And the staff is also amazing also the service is also quite good.

We got to try veg Galouti kebass, some organic and sugar free Mango juice. Also we had a dish named : ' Fish Florentine ' for mains which was the highlight of our meal.
Fish Florentine - diced peices of Basa fish amidst a semi gravy of spinach and cheese, served with fresh toasted bread.
We really enjoyed our meal and a lot of the items were very pocket friendly and did justice in terms of portion size and taste.

This place has been in Santacruz for over 10 years. I must say that you can tell why it is a favourite for all.
Golden wave has been serving excellent food to all. So whether it's a birthday and anniversary we often order from this place. You must try the Mughlai and punjabi food specially the dal makhani. They also make great indian Chinese. Try the chicken shezwan fried rice.
They have excellent deals for Reliance employees as well.
This has been my favorite spot to hang out with friends for 3 years now. The food here is really good specially the kebabs. Along with their food they even have soem mocktails which are wonderful and quiet refreshing. This would be a great spot to hang out at and would be surely of a great choice

Golden Wave is a restaurant in Santacruz that has been nearly for a decade and has been at the same location with out any change. It is one of the best restaurants in the neighborhood and probably the best in Santacruz East.
This place is located in Santacruz East, Prabhat Colony which is one of the well known places in Santacruz. Its very much close to the station, about a walking distance of 300 meters. The commutation is quiet easy here.
The place is quiet peaceful and has a wide seating arrangement for customers. They even have cafe in their compound for the teenage crowd to enjoy. The seating arrangement in the restaurant here would be about 25-30 people. Since bar and a restaurant both some people might not find it comfortable but otherwise the place is really comforting with a good staff and has good decor around. The place looks small but is really good.
The food that is served here is Continental, Indian and Oriental dishes too but they specialize in Indian dishes. I would suggest a person to try out their Indian dishes here as they are cooked really well and are really flavourful. These Indian dishes are authentically cooked with the perfect spice. This would probably be the first restaurant in the entire Santacruz East to be serving such unique and authentic dishes.
I started off my dinner with some coolers and drinks...
The varieties in their mocktails was pretty simple
GREEN COOLER - This drink took my eye as it looked quiet different from the others. This was drink made of khus syrup mixed with sprite. The khus syrup was particularly quiet sweet and gave the drink a good touch with the fuzziness of sprite making perfectly refreshing.
COUNTRY LEMONADE - This was a drink suggested by the staff. It seemed to be pretty simple on the menu as it was just made of lemonade and orange juice but the taste of this was awesome. The mix of orange and lemonade was perfect for it to taste that good.
After the mocktails I proceeded to their starters. On their starters they had a wide range right from Indian, Continental, Chinese etc.
CHICKEN TIBBETI TIKKA - These are chicken. You tikkas that are roasted with herbs and then cooked with schezwan sauce giving it a Chinese touch, likewise this dish has mix taste of tikka and schezwan which is really good the chicken here is quiet tender and juicy. It's good dish to start with.
CHICKEN GOLCONDA - These were the chicken pieces tossed in a spicy gravy which has a nice sour taste of mustard to it. This was the best starter that I have had here and was really the coating on the chicken is like those of the tikka but then they are cooked with mustard seeds and tastes extremely good. Other than mustard it's tossed with chilli which gives it a sharp spicy tastes. The mix of the sourish and spicy taste in this is worth having.
FISH CHILLY - This is another savouring food item at this place. This is supposed to be a simple fish and Chilly dish but the fish in this was marinated well and had chilly flavours deep within, this made the fish pieces quiet juicy and when it was cooked with the vegetables it became soft. It was really savoury dish and served really good as starter. I would recommend this for a person visit here.
SQUID KOLIWADA - This wouldn't really be a dish that'd be famous here since many people don't have it but it is a dish worth having. It was my first time with squids and the experience was really good. These squids were covered with koliwada batter and then fried making the outer portion crispy while the inner is rubbery like it should be. It's a great dish to have here and is worth the price.
After the starters I moved on to the main courses. Their main courses were particularly much better. They had huge variety in Indian And Continental food here, the Indian specially was really good and much better than the others.
VEG FALGUNI - Being a non veg food lover I loved this dish a lot. It is a mixed vegetable dish in where the vegetables are cooked in an appetizing tangy gravy, the gravy is then topped with melted cheese and the top layers of the gravy are fused in well with the cheese giving this dish a great flavour. I would recommend this dish to a vegetarian lover are they would surely love this.

CHICKEN PATIALA - Wonderful would be a word to define this. This dish had 2 gravys mainly, the Spinach gravys in the the chicken was chopped and cooked, the chicken was simmered in the gravy for quiet some time making the dish juicy enough with the flavours of spinach. This is then topped with a spicy tangy gravy which tasted really delectable with the Spinach. This would be a perfect main course to be had with cheese naan or a butter garlic naan.
DUM BIRYANI - The dum biryani here is quiet famous for its taste, I had the Chicken Dum Biryani. The rice was quiet fine and cooked with perfection, couldn't really get the taste of how it is made but it was damn good to taste. A biryani lover would surely love this.
Finishing a long line starters and main courses I finally arrived to the desserts. Their desserts were pretty simple with a decent presentation.
The ones that I had over here was THE GOLDEN WAVE SPECIAL which was sundae with ice creams of your choice and spread with jellies and canner fruits.
AMERICAN CHOCO NUT was quiet a delightful dessert here. These had scoops of chocolate and vanilla topped with cashew nuts and almonds, the taste was good and this was made the best out of simple things.
The staff here is really good just that the service is a bit slow else everything is damn good here. It was made sure by the waiters that I got everything that I wanted and helped me really well with the orders. Had a really good time here

*Oreo cookie shake - good Consistancy , great Taste. Not the best one I've had but still good enough.
*Strawberry shake 🍓 - didn't like it. Made of essence and not fresh strawberries hence wouldn't recommend this one.
*Rumless Ricky -🍸 damn refreshing and good. You can't absolutely guess that it's without alcohol. Amazing taste.

*Veg Golconda - a very different masala is used in its preparation. Personally loved the taste and the dish.
*Veg dragon roll - something nice , unique and crisp.
*Veg gold coin -more like a sesame toast on a crisp bread. Tastes great.
*Fish tikka - basa never goes wrong and the tender fish wins hearts. Loved it.
*Prawns chilli - prawns well cooked and cleaned. No complaints .

*Chicken dum biryani - A good chicken biryani with adequate masala and spice after sooo long. Its been ages that I've had that good a Biryani. Recommended.

A hidden gem in Santacruz (E) ; Golden Wave is beautiful fine dine restaurant. It's easily accessible from the western express highway as well as Santacruz Station. The place has been running since decades now and the quality is reflected in everything.
The owner Mr Sanidhya was very kind and took time to give us a brief overview of the restaurant and the best dishes to try from their vast menu.
It's a multicuisine resto with interiors apt for a fine dine; they've kept it simple and minimal. Soft music and in backdrop and small tv screens which showcase news/matches. They have a bar counter. Also a cute outdoor cafe which is currently closed due to BMC rules and regulations ; but the good part is they serve the cafe menu inside the fine dine area.
Service is pretty quick and staff is attentive.
The place is apt for family dinners and small get together.
🔹 Mocktails and Shakes
⚫Rumless Riki - the drink is as catchy as the name 😉 It's a pepsi/thumps up based drink with added spices. The result is fantastic; a good blend of tangy, spicy and sweet. Recommend.
⚪Country Lemonade - Another beautiful combination of lemonade and orange juice, tangy and amazing to sip along with food.
⚫Strawberry Milkshake - Made with strawberry crush (syrup), tasted okish, can be avoided.
⚪Oreo Cookie Shake - This one was ohhh sooo goood, the shake was perfect in every sense. Consistency, taste quality everything was too good. A must have.
🔹 Appetizers
⚫Cream of Mushroom Soup - Guys believe me this was the best cream of mushroom I've had till date 😍 The soup looked very ordinary, but the moment i tasted it i was in love ; what great taste and flavor 👌 thick, creamy with chunks of mushroom. Do not miss this here 💞
⚪Veg Golconda - Paneer with a twist 🔀 Made with hung curd and indian spices ; a very distinct taste; it had curry leaves which gave a beautiful aroma. Should try this if you love experimenting with your taste.
⚫Veg Gold Coin - a mixture of spiced veggies stuffed in bread, deep fried and topped with a lot if sesame seeds. Tasted good, i personally don't like sesame much, but otherwise the dish was a total hit.
⚪Veg Dragon Rolls - very similar to spring rolls, taste wise okish.
Appetizers were served with Green Chutney, Coconut chutney and Schezwan Sauce.

⚫Diced Veggies In Garlic Sauce with Schezwan Fried Rice - Really liked the quality of both the preparations, the dishes were perfectly flavored and adequately spicy. Relished every bite of it 😇
My friends had tried various non vegetarian delicacies and they equally loved it.
Overall a warm and cozy atmosphere and would definitely love to revisit 🙂

There are few places that end up becoming your family restaurant and golden wave is one of them. We order from here quite often and even end up here for birthdays and anniversaries. One of my favourite order at golden wave is dal makhni with aloo paratha and chicken tikka. While all the kebabs are good, the tandoori items are outstanding . I definitely am in love with the place.

Sometimes you just need to chill out and just enjoy the warm food in Mumbai cold (an oxymoron in itself..but yes lately it's a little cold..Delhi ppl don't murder me now). When it comes to food Santacruz West (owing to its proximity to Juhu) has a lot of eateries but east hardly any places for food are known and here i was near a location near the railway station on the insistence of Fredrick Goon to try out the place.
The place is located very close to railway station in and around residential places and hotels (owing to the proximity of the Airport being very close). A very discreet place which may be missed if you are not too vigilant (Google Maps has this place spot on!). The place is located in the premises of a hotel with a banquet, a cafe and this place (being operated by the same folks!).
The place has the two seating areas (which intermingle the open air cafe corner area (available as a separate eatery on Zomato) and the closed air-conditioned bar area). The closed section is a typical bar like setup and I preferred the seating are of cafe more due to the ambience created in the area (images attached). The Cafe corner place is still doing renovations due to the new norms by BMC for safety after the 1Above and Mojo fire (sadly I had been to theses places when they opened).
Coming to the food & Beverages they have a range of items available on the menu in terms of food & mocktails but quite the run of the mill when it comes to cocktails.
Mocktails:
Rumless Riki: First mocktail I tried it had a kick of its own (sans Rum!), it had ginger in it which gave it a zing with Pepsi, it had a slight sweet connotation to it. A perfect start to a meal here. I recommend this for non drinkers to experience a zing.
Country Lemonade: My favourite drink of the day (Even though it wasn't alcoholic) a really refreshing drink containing orange juice on top and lemonade at the bottom. A very perfect drink to lift up spirits for sure. Another recommended drink.
Cocktail: As said above the place has run of the mill menu for cocktail but except Sangria's (which wasn't served) rest weren't something different except:
Mia Tai : A combination of White Rum, orange juice and lemon juice this was something you would order if you needed that extra kick as white rum have that punch with sweet and sourness of the fruit juices. This one is very subjective to likes of the drinkers.
The appetizers served (Quantities are huge!) were:
Veg Koliwada: A dish NOT on the menu but is a really tasty preparation of potato's (yes this is veg as opposed to Koliwada dishes being fish oriented) tossed in same masalas almost make you forget its vegetarian. P.s. order this one if you visit.
Chicken Golconda: chicken pieces with Indian spices. My appetizer for the day. I loved it to the core with meat properly cooked and spices so yummy you could just eat the dry gravy just like that. Something which I would be ordering when I visit next time again. It was served very attractively too.
Chicken Gold Coin: One of their speciality served to us. It was chicken mixed in mixed spices, brrad crumbs, and deep fried giving it a crunchy texture and a crunch every bite. It was served with schezwan sauce. Wifey loved it a lot but I found it a bit dry. It was a good appetizer if you are drinking and would want to satiate your taste buds with crunch and bit of spice.
Main course:
Chicken Do Abba & Butter Kulchas: a chicken preparation which was spicy, creamy and tender chicken pieces in it. A perfect gravy dish that we Indians would love to have with the kulchas, parathas and rotis. I really liked it considering it was well made and went really well with butter kulchas that were piping hot. The combination was just perfect to have complete our meal.
Dal Makhani: We were served dal Makhani with our Mains. This was a well cooked dal which went really well with the entire mains (supported it pleasantly). Although it was a little more liquud than I would have expected but it still manage to retain the taste of the dal (it didn't taste watery at all).
Dessert:
Caramel Custard: a creamy custard was served with caramel on top. To be honest this was icing on top after the heavy mains. Just something you would prefer to have after the heavy indian meal.
Overall the meal experience was fantastic taste wise and the Ambience too was perfect (Open air experience on a table) made it a real good experience. The place attracts different types of people to it for various reasons..for just drinks (golden wave), for celebrations & parties or just to have a casual drink or grab a bite. Golden wave is available for order taking on swiggy whereas cafe corner is available on Zomato only for ordering to your place. But once all the renovations are done I'm sure the place will be even more attractive.
Safety concerns are addressed at cafe corner with materials and safety being considered now. Havent visited any of the kitchens so can't comment on that. But felt golden wave interior seating needs to be a little free as the exists may get cramped up as they are used by service staff for moving in and out from the connecting kitchens and bar area. Golden wave following terms by municipal authorities but I feel they should still free up space in aisle and increase the door space from golden wave into the open cafe corner area.
Overall a place to hangout with friends and family over a great food and beverages in a area which is not known for fab food. You have a place where you can grab a bite or more from 11 am to 11pm in case of cafe corner and evening 6pm to 12.30pm in case of Golden wave. One place many eating options I would say visit to try it if you happen to visit that area.
I had order chicken tikka gravy and chicken kebab the food came on time the chicken tikka gravy was not great in fact no taste but the chicken kebab was very good . I called up the hotel to tell my review they told me they can send a other one if there was a mistake but I denied anyways I appreciate this . Rate is a bit high but will give a other try
Have never dined in, but the takeout has always been top notch! Don't hesitate to call for the dal-rice, palak paneer, or any of the meat dishes. This place is clean and super delicious. Truly a saviour of people living in this area.

The delivery even at 12.15 am was quick, it reached my home by 12.30am.

The Chicken Tikka Biryani is awesome!! Overall good for home delivery if you live around the area. Life saver for us whenever we don't want to go out.

Ambience is nice..Service is bit slow.It was first time here and had good experience.I tried Chicken Banjara Kabab it's was good in taste also had Dal Tadka and rice which was nicely prepared.

One of our regular places to order from. The food has always been good. The restaurant decor and ambience is only decent.. nothing more... But staff is good. We mostly order the Punjabi stuff like kebabs, curries and biryanis.. never had anything to complain about... Biryani is a bit oily so just ask them to make it less oily when ordering. Delivery time to Vakola is decent and much better than some restaurants from Vakola-kalina area.
This was the place I would order non-vegetarian from when living there. Never been to the place though.

I have been here many times with my family since childhood. We love the food they serve and the ambiance. They have the best dal makhani and vegetable manchurian in Mumbai. The service is very good and the staff gives you good suggestions on specialities. I would suggest you reserve a table , especially if you plan to visit on weekends. A must visit! They also have an adjoining party hall for approx. 100 people. I had few of my wedding celebrations in that hall and my family and guests were very happy with the arrangements.

I arrived here with my friends for dinner before we headed down to lonavala. For starters the goti kabab, chicken tikka and gold fingers are delicious. The goti kabab and chicken tikka melts in your mouth and the gold fingers have the right amount of crisp in them. Next we called for the butter chicken with some butter naan and black daal. It did not disappoint but exceeded expectations. The butter chicken was tasty and rich as was the black daal. The management is friendly and polite and the service is quick and efficient. Would surely go back again and order it all again.

I had organized my son's 5th birthday party at Galaxy Hotel's AC Vallabh Banquet.
From the day i went to inquire about the booking and till the day of the party, i really had a great experience.
I was shown the party halls and was given various options/ideas for arrangements, food options, decoration etc.
The party hall is well furnished and enough to accommodate around 100-120 people. The food counters are placed outside the hall and that area is also really spacious.
The hotel has a good party planner contact (Anil) who did all the arrangements for the party (decoration, host, games, others
artists like Magician, Tatoo artist, Balloon art). I also opted for a Moonwalker kept outside the hall. where kids had a blast jumping
The DJ was really good and my friends and family had a blast on the dance floor.
I am a pure veg with many of my guests pure Jains. I had opted for welcome drinks, starters, chat counter and other
live Counters(Dosa, Pizza, Chinese) for food. The welcome drinks, starters and food at all live counters were really Scrumptious. Separate Jain counter was also kept. All my guests really liked the tasty food and service.
I would give the service of the hotel staff a big 5 stars. They are really courteous,helpful and just gave us no
chances for asking about anything or any complaints for service or anything during the party.

Situated in prabhat colony, golden wave is like an oasis admist the dessert. Its a very relaxed prperty which shares its boundaries with galaxy hotel and nirvana party hall. So its like you get a restaurant a party hall and a hotel all together at one place. Eat, drink, dance and sleep! How cool is that!
Coming back to the restaurant, golden wave is a proper family dining restaurant with its menu ranging from indian to chinese and classic alcohols to some really yummy cocktails.
Every single dish you order is just delicious. Some of the must try are black daal (reminds you of chandigarh), golden fingers( they serve a really amazing schezwan sauce with it), spring rolls, papad rolls, dum biryani, paneer pasand and the list goes on.
Everything you order is so succulent that it is very difficult to point any single shortcoming.
The staff is very courteous and amicable and the price is at par with the quality and quantity of the food served.

We had ordered chicken lollipop, chicken Gold coin, prawns hakka noodles & chicken schewzan fried rice.The quality & even quantity of the place was too good. Greatly Recommended for all.

The things we tried :
*Oreo cookie shake - good Consistancy , great Taste. Not the best one I've had but still good enough.
*Strawberry shake 🍓 - didn't like it. Made of essence and not fresh strawberries hence wouldn't recommend this one.
*Rumless Ricky -🍸 damn refreshing and good. You can't absolutely guess that it's without alcohol. Amazing taste.

*Cream of mushroom - Absolutely recommended 😍 this so soo delicious, I probably can't Penn it down.🍄
Savoury :
*Veg Golconda - a very different masala is used in its preparation. Personally loved the taste and the dish.
*Veg dragon roll - something nice , unique and crisp.
*Veg gold coin -more like a sesame toast on a crisp bread. Tastes great.
*Fish tikka - basa never goes wrong and the tender fish wins hearts. Loved it.
*Prawns chilli - prawns well cooked and cleaned. No complaints .

This is very good restaurant for both vegetarians & non vegetarians. Menu is elaborate. They also serve your spirits here. Best recommended for a family when all family members want to try different dishes. Someone would go for Punjabi, someone will go for Moghulai and kids may want Chinese... Here's the place where everyone will be happy.
