The food was lip smacking..very delicious and family friendly ambience..the owner and the other staff was very polite and helpful ..I ate chicken with rice and caramel custard.. it's a lifetime experience.. may God give them more and more success..I wish I remembered the waiter's name who attended me..he is a true gentleman..he got a taxi for me too as it was late and I was alone and tourist.

I started to go to foodplaza in 2012 well then i had chicken gold coin which was its best dish.After a couple of years i tried crispy chicken which is the best crispy chicken in SOBO i really loved it in main course chicken lazeez is good and for veg veg kadhai is kind of average ambience is good it is situated just opposite to strand cinema.The only con i have is with biryani it doesn't meet my expectations.Rest everything is good

Located at Colaba, this restaurant is not very fancy or attractive but the service staff is good with good food .

This one is a bit better built, mildly fancier in appearance, so tad more expensive than the usual places down these roads. But the food is decent and with sizeable portions, so, that makes it a viable option for return trips.
I like this place since my childhood, locating this place is very easy but for new comers not. The place has a decent sitting arrangements with good service. The food is perfectly good to have. One of favorite here is Chicken Sathey on the menu which is this spicy juicy crispy chicken . Even tandoori items are great to eat.

Hidden in the same lane as many other small and nice restaurants in Colaba this place serves some really nice food and the quantity is enough for two persons for sure. We had some lovely mutton soup which was very similar to what my granny used to make for me when I was a kid. It had generous pieces of mutton that one normally does not get even in a regular mutton dish and all that for just Rs.70. We ordered a fish biryani which came with two thick sliced pieces of surmai fish fried in batter and with a slightly dry but tasty spices at Rs.280. Next was a fantastic dabba gosht which is a mix of boneless chunks of mutton with a thick spicy gravy with some spaghetti topped with an omelette. This was just Rs.230 for lots of mutton pieces. Had this with some tandoori rotis at Rs.15 each. Desserts was a nice caramel custard for Rs.50 and ended the meal with a mint tea (no milk) for Rs.15 only. Enjoyed the meal and highly recommend the place for good food and they even have an air conditioned section which was closed when we went late at night. The ambience may not be great but then you could order home delivery or take away if you wish.

One of my favourite place to dine for breakfast in colaba.Masala omelets, lemon mint tea etc are great options to go for.Apart from this Biryani, tandoori and kababs and too can be tried.
Staff is very courteous and ac section is the only place to eat.This is one of the place which is less rated in colaba.
My friends.. The restaurant was an old time favorite when I lived here in Colaba over a decade back and it served as an excellent home delivery option. After all these years passing by after a marathon shopping session turned out to be a blessing in disguise..!
Tandoori chicken with subdued flavor (where do you find it these days) and Kheema Paratha to live for... The seekh Kababs were succulent and yummy with butter Naan... So if you know my taste; go ahead and eat here if you want a really easy on the pocket meal that more than satiates your stomach..

This place is quite close to my house, so this place is my saviour if there is no dinner made at home. The place is decent but if you want to eat there you must go to the AC section. The service is quick and the staff is decent. As for the food, my favourites are butter chicken, chicken tikka biryani, dhaba ghosht. It is not expensive and a good place for mughai food lovers!

My wife and I had dinner here. I had the Arabic Shawarma and my wife had the Malai Kofta. We also shared a garlic naan. It was absolutely delicious in particular the malai kofta which was amazing. The staff were awesome especially Sharif and Imtiyaz who made us feel welcome from the second we walked in. Was a lovely local experience.
Sharif is welcoming and responsive man. In food plaza you will find delicious food. I wish to come back many more times in future

Perfect place to have yummy butter chicken thats all i have been having there its tasty. I have seen people trying Arabic dishes as its famous for that as lot of Arabs visit food plaza for typic Arabic food. The restaurant has two sections AC and non AC. Its at end of causeway. So if you tired shopping then you can try food plaza for good food. Hygienic and decent ambience.
