We had ordered amul pav bhaji which was okay in taste.really over hyped pav bhaji
Overall experience- 4/5
When it comes to pav bhaji, every Mumbaikar has their favourite and while we’ll never say with authority which one is the best, we will continue with our hunt. And I suggest trying Cannon because it might just get a spot in the top ten eateries serving the most amazing pav bhaji in the city.

One of the famous pav bhaji wala in mumbai. They serve pav bhaji for many year. This place is always crowded. One may this place.
The oldest and most famous place to have pav bhaji in mumbai . Fresh and hot pav bhaji for a resonable price . Ordered Butter pav bhaji and lassi . The pav bhaji was loaded with butter on top which made it taste even more gooood !!! The bhaji was not so spicy ; medium spicy you can say . The lassi along with pav bhaji is a good choice . Sweet and cold !!! Overall an excellent experience.
One of the oldest pav bhaji center, which has been devoured by many. The amount of butter they serve on bhaji is on next level, there are no seats but the food is great.

At cannon u will surely get blown off with one of the tastiest pav bhajis in mumbai.
Cost less then 100rs a plate.
Service awesome.
The ambience doesnt matter.
At cannon pav bhaji in your plate wil go on and on
Fairly priced. Breakfast menu is huge and mouth watering. The pav bhaji here is classic and cannot be misses
Go to place for pav bhaji and best part is it was very buttery in taste and not super spicy like other places. Usually go when I pass by this place as it’s not near my residence.highly recommend.
This place is known for one of the best pav bhajis in Mumbai. It is quite appetizing. It is simple and nice.
Its jst outside the csmt station gate
Very good pav bhaji.
There is no sitting area we have stand and eat
Canon Pavbhaji, this doesnt go with any connection with cannon camera but its a purely food centre just outside the CST station subway. A very prime location and famously very well known for Pav Bhaji since ages now. No table or seating arrangements, but the rush here for pav bhaaji keeps on going till you see its open. So its already a super hit place all together, whereas other than pav bhaji you also get some other food items like Vada Paav, Lassi Chaas, Kande Pohe, Vada etc. But people what mostly prefer here is the pav bhaji. Service is fast and quick. Preferable and pocket friendly. Hygiene can be improved.
Hence recommended :)❤
A place handled by ladies.
Very old and famous for PavBhaji.
Butter PavBhaji : 4.5/5
If u visit to CST, don't miss it guys!!!
Cannon pav Bhai CENTRE in Mumbai cst area is a well renowned location for having some tasty vada paav and pav Bhai...we were in cst for some work so decided to visit this place and had a nice mumbaiya tea and vada pav . As usual it tasted awesome...perfect tea and vada pav to kick start the day..
The speciality of canon is pav bhaji .
But You may also find another exciting dishes with good quality.
I was amazed to see old ladies working here.
All ladies are working hard and very friendly.
This place is very hygienic.
I ordered pav bhaji and lassi.
There was no delay in service.
My Love for pavbhaji is endless. Superb pavbhaji I must say. Not much costly. Best taste I have ever had. Not much spicy. We tried Cheesey pavbhaji. That was way too yummy.
Awesome place for Pav Bhaaji. Very well know and also about more than 40years old place with the same staff and very polite and friendly atmosphere.
Must haves are cheesy Pav Bhaaji and not to forget the different vada Pav which they have, something unique which we don’t get it every where .
Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've been to Cannon countless times right from 2003 to 2019(last visit in Jan 2019) and everytime I just blown away by the taste, flavor and textures. The paav bhaji oozes with butter and is definitely not a healthy meal and you'd need to run at least 3 miles to neutralize its effect. Anyhow, the food is tasty and cheap(however prices have crept up over this past decade in line with the WPI metric and in other eateries as well. "Purvichi Mumbai rahili nahi" people love to point this fact out)
The cons: Hygiene levels seem a bit iffy and I usually just rate them a bit leniently due to the fact it is street-food after all. But anyone who expects highly hygienic establishment can avoid this place and go to a proper sit-down restaurant instead.
One of the oldest & legendary place to have Pav Bhaji centre - Located Bang opposite to CST Station - I never forget to check in this place if i am at CST station - Superb Pav Bhaji but most buttery - Budget Friendly, Ambience is not so good but A must visit this place.
A decent place for having snacks. The iconic dish - The Pav Bhaji is overrated. I mean its not that great, but not bad also.
To sum up: a good place to have a snack anytime for a decent price. The taste is OK.
Service depends upon the crowd but it's mostly fast. You get it.
Amazing pav bhaji.. the aroma of pav bhaji near CST station.. can't go home with having the dish. Really love the place.. brings back all childhood memories back!!
The iconic pav bhaji outlet is one on every mumbaikars to do list and rightly so.
The pav bhaji here is much sought after and after having tried out their cheese pav bhaji and jumbo vada pav I can say the food here is fairly good
Pav bhaji here is delicious, layered with a generous amount of butter. The bhaji could have more flavor to it but it's quite a decent one.
The seating can be a bit tricky here given the chaos and rush all around the lane.
Hygiene freaks maybe apprehensive of this one as it's just more closer to the old roadside food joint feel rather than a fancy restaurant.
Try their pav bhaji, Lassi (if you're a fan of Lassi), jumbo vada pav.
The rest is just average at best so you may skip the other items
Service - 3.5/5
Food - 3.5-4/5
VFM - 3.5/5
This place is just something for the nostalgia lovers where one can have a taste of Mumbai right outside the CST station
Travelled 50 kilometers all the way from Mira Road to Fort to eat the all famous "Cannon ka Pav Bhaji". The ambience is that of a typical old food joint with a big bench to stand and eat. So not gonna compare it with any fancy restaurant ofcourse. The nostalgic ambience took us back to the 90's and early 2000s. And the Taai's working inside were just so sweet and friendly. They arranged a corner quickly in that chaos for 3 of us. Their efforts really made me leave a good tip for them.
Talking about the food, the pav bhaji definitely did not meet our expectations. The hype that has been created around it is what had set the expectation bar too high. Whenever I read about "top 10 pav bhajis in Mumbai", Cannon has always been 2nd after Sardar Pav Bhaji. But Sardar tastes much better. If this is 2nd on the list, I would say there is a huge gap between 1st and 2nd. But hey, definitely recommended. The intention is not to compare its pav bhaji with any other joint. The taste is definitely good. Not matching the hype ofcourse, but not bad.
But hey, their Jumbo Vada Pav is yummm. Above average. And the lassi... 😋😋😋😋 I am not really a lassi fan. But the sweet lassi here really made me one. Just the best combo I have had lately. Spicy Vada Pav complimented with Sweet Lassi. 😋😋
CAUTION: Gaajar ka halwa sucks. Just 🤮🤮🤮
What to eat:
1 - Pav Bhaji
2 - Jumbo Vada Pav
3 - Sweet Lassi
What not to try:
1 - Gaajar Ka Halwa
Food: 3.5/5

Just Opposite the CST station,Cannon Pav Bhaji Stands tall since 40 odd years. its around the corner adjacent to the subway exit gate making it easy to spot.
Well Balanced Flavours, Slice of Butter on top, Sliced onions, Maska Loaded Pav!!!
All of this for INR-100
2 extra Maska Pav will cost you INR-10 only!!
I bet, Cannon Can easily be listed in the top 5 places serving the best pav bhaji's around Mumbai.
If not visited yet, readers should make it a point to do so and enjoy the flavoury PavBhaji and other Delicacies as well!!
This is one of the iconic restaurants of mumbai and always on the to do list. The shop is mostly handled by women and is particularly famous for its amazing pav bhaji. The pav bhaji along with butter dipped pav is awesome. The pickled onions , raita and the warmth of the women serving them will surely delight you. Additional tip: do checkout the soda guy two shops apart from it, if you also want something cool to drink.

This place is one of the best places in fort area. It's the only safe area where you can beat the hunger.
Mostly known for pav bhajis and yes it's worth eating.
I would also recommend trying raita it's sweet and tastes perfect with pav bhaji.
Must Visit😍 Pav bhaji over here is just amazing. The service is good. Highly recommended for Pav Bhaji lovers. Would definitely visit again.🥰🥰
Cannon pav bhaji: Mumbai enjoys attention as a food haven because it serves the all-time-favourite snack – pav bhaji. Although, almost every North Indian restaurant has this delicacy on its menu, gorging on a pav bhaji in Mumbai is an unmatched experience and what is better than the modest pav bhaji?
Food review: The pav bhaji here is served real hot and the pav(bread) is kept on the tava and is served a little crisp which only adds to the taste to this lip smacking street food.
The bhaji is served with loads of Amul butter and enhances the taste of it.The only issue I had that the green peas was not smashed properly otherwise this was one of the best pav bhaji.
Worth: Definitely a worth visiting place for ₹100 only and if around CST do visit this place in khau gali to satisfy your hunger in budget
One can visit here for quick bites.
It is one of the oldest Stall in Mumbai.
They serve mouth-watering varieties of Pav Bhaji.
#Canon Pav bhaji#Csmt
This place situated right outside the cst station in the khau gali. it is famous for its buttery and lip smacking pav bhaji.
This place serves pav bhaji, cheese pav bhaji, vada pav, lassi , chaas etc.
I tried its pav bhaji and masala chaas.
Its pav bhaji is worth trying. its bhaji was very spicy yet tasty. they added an extra cube of butter to the bhaji while serving it. its pavs were also quite soft and buttery.
they served it with a vegetable raita which was sweet but it was a great combo with buttery pav bhaji.
Its masala chaas was little salty but its density was quite good.
As it's name says.. This place serves one of the bestpav bhaji in cst.. Makes u feel like street food.. Not a restaurant so always crowded place
It is located exactly opposite to CSMT station main gate. Very crowded place throughout the day. They been serving pav bhaji, vadapav from a long time in Mumbai. Its very famous for Pavbhaji. Food: 3/5
Pav bhaji is my fav. I hardly get my type of Pav bhaji but this place is just awesome. They made amazing pav bhaji with butter. It’s so mouthwatering and delicious.
Pav bhaji is very good in taste.
Cheese pav bhaji is recommended.
Raw mango panha is also good.
There is no as such place for sitting.
I would rate the place 3/5
I hv been coming to this place since last 6 yrs ... 10/10 ... the food delicious,, fresh and the service is super quick.. the only problem wth this place is that there is no place to sit .. in summers it gets difficult to eat standing in sun ... bt the taste of the food n humble behaviour of the people serving thr makes it a must visit place .. thiz has the best pav Bhajji in the town #lovecannon
Very famous place for pav bhaji located right outside CSMT station platform 1 side. Its quick bite place where one can stand and eat their food. Seasonally they serve aam panna as well.
Since childhood I’m visiting this place.I would suggest pav Bhaji lovers to try Pav Bhaji. Service is super fast as well as it’s near by cstm station.
Cannon pav bhaji near CSMT is very famous place for paav bhaji. The ambience is not that good but the taste of paav bhaji is too good. Many people from far stations visit here specially for pav bhaji. It is served hot with a slice of amul butter on it which looks very mouthwatering and actually it is very much delicious. Paav bhaji lovers must give it a try.
It is located at food lane opposite to CST station. This place is for pav bhaji lovers. This place is run by senior citizen ladies, they deal with huge number of customers everyday and people stand in waiting too sometimes. Being senior citizens the staff always be so active, so fresh and so always there to help each other.
Taste is very nice only the thing is they had raised price very high.
Amazing taste. It may taste little bit salty if you order Cheese pav bhaji because of cheese and butter is surved together in it. There is no place to sit. They have Platforms to put dish. Lassi and Butter milk is another item to try.
They serve hot piping utterly butterly delicious Pav bhaji in Mumbai.. it's one of the best Pav bhaji's you will get in Mumbai.. much better than Sardar PavBhaji which is hyped.
Must try place.
It is mandate to have their pav bhaji when u r at CSMT station..Have heard a lot about d place , so hav to try this one . My goodness it was some other level .. Delicious at its best . One of d best pav bhaji I had.. It’s a street shop types, so there was no ambience but cleanliness was maintained..Priced at rs100.. A must try!!
JUST COMING UP FROM THE UNDERGROUND TUNNEL OF CSMT STATION YOUR EYES WOULD AUTOMATICALLY SEE A GLANCE OF THIS SHOP I.E CANNON PAV BHAJI... THE SMELL OF PAV BHAJI IS SOO GOOD THAT YOU CAN'T RESIST OF HAVING A BITE OF IT...
Best pav bhaji in the Mumbai cst area with a buttery taste and lott of spices mixed up to give it a special flavour. The rates are also pocket friendly and one can eat to it’s heart content.
Visited this place for the first time as it's one of the best pav bhajis in Mumbai. It is located just opposite the CSMT railway station. The place was crowded as usual (visited on Saturday evening)
We ordered :
* Amul Pav Bhaji - The amul Pav Bhaji was quite average in it's taste. The package was soft and good
* Cheese Pav Bhaji - The taste was good. The flavour of pav bhaji combined with cheese and butter turned out to be a winner.
* Gulab Jamun - The piping hot gulab jamuns, they were so yummy. It's not too soft nor too hard. It just melts in your mouth.
With no seating arrangements I had less expectations for hospitality, but to my surprise they were good at it. A glass of water was served to each customer.

Finally experienced the most talked about PavBhaji.
This crowded big joint, just opposite CST station... totally portrays the spirit of Mumbai.
The noise, chaos and crowd...where life is just rushing. Amidst of all these chaos, these Maharashtrian ladies run this joint full heartedly...
They serve the rushing travellers with calm, poise and a smile. Quickest service ever.
Menu is quite short but consists of yummy Maharashtrian snacks and yes, THE PAV BHAJI...for which it is famous for.
So we ordered:
1. PavBhaji (Normal): It tasted yumm...with a good blend of vegetables and spices (unlike other joints in the area that serve potato mixture oozed in spices), soft and generously sautéed pav.
Happie soul
2. Vada Pav: It was again authentic Vada Pav smeared with spicy chutney...
I liked it more than many other similar joints in the area.
3. Masala Chai: This cutting chai, where masala was very well induced, was good to complete the meal.
All in all, a good experience.... Should try once
Was little skeptical to visit based on some reviews on Zomato...
But, I was totally satisfied, received what for expected from a street style food joint.
Reason for 1 point less is just the hygiene factor...
As such the staff tried their level to maintain the cleanliness.
But yes...u cannot expect more than this from a roadside joint...tat is situated amidst all city traffic.
One of the best pav bhaji available here. It's a locate opp CSMT Station. Nice Cheese pav bhaji available here but test was avarage. Good service and good ambiance. If you are like pav bhaji do visite here. 👌
This is the famous and very old Canon Pav bhaji near CST station. We visited this place a couple of days back. The taste was amazing😋. It was not too spicy. The taste was worth the price. It was served with onion rings, a piece of lemon and a lots of cheese 🧀on it. We enjoyed it. If you want to enjoy this, look out for this place.
If u r a pavbhaji freak then just go try this place. It's a tasty pavbhaji.
Pavbhaji is prepared with good taste. In Mumbai pavbhaji is know fast food and that too canon pavbhaji. The place is always busy and near CST station.
We also tried sabudana khichadi which was authentic and had a good taste.
Have heard so much about this Pav Bhaji place!!
Loved the homely hospitality of all the women clad in aprons giving you water and food just like your mother. Everyone is attentive and alert in their work.
Ordered a generic Pav Bhaji plate which was completely different form whatever versions I had previously ever. The Bhaji was good and chunked with butter. Would have tried for the Bulan Jamuns but was full after one plate of the Bhaji
Whenever at CST area sure to visit this place.
Though they have plenty of food options and meals & breakfast, their pav bhaji and cheese pav bhaji is to die for. Buttery bhaji and soft pavs are unbeatable. Staff is predominantly women who serve you like you are at home. Place is hygienic and although there are no tables to sit and eat, you can rest your plate.

It was a fasting day and I was damn hungry...and guess what..they served me quickly Sabudana khichadi... and I was surprised to see so many tasty elements... cashews, dates, grated coconut, pomegranate..and the taste was great...added with their special chutney...infact the aunty's was generous enough to give a big second helping... Surely would recommend for a quick and fast and tasty Sabudana Khichdi
Look who's back!! Being new to the city, had heard a lot about this place! Lucky to see it open and after enquiring if it was the same owner operating it, i decided to try out their famous pav bhaji!! Having had no expectations, since this is my first time here, tried it. It was indeed good. It was served with a slice of butter to top the bhaji, some onions and lemon on the side. Costing 100 rupees for a plate, i felt a little bit more bhaji could have been provided. Nonetheless, for people who carry that nostalgia with them regarding this place, the news is, they are back!!! With a bang or without it, is for you people to decide!!
One of the best places to eat Pav Bhaji in Mumbai. Famous since ages. But now due to Metro railway work there is space crunch. Taste also has changed over time.
Amul Butter is added in almost all dishes. This makes it really yummy.
We ordered pav bhaji, and it was really nice ,and we had to order 2 more pav to finish the bhaji
Located outside csmt. Very simple and tasty prav bhaji, not too spicy and not to buttery. had chaas to accompany with it and for the scorching heat in mumbai, it was a heavenly combo. mostly run by ladies and the service was prompt and quick
Amazing place great staff lassi was to yummy and chas was to good .,and pav bhaji will hit different never had like this taste so amazing taste and clean . wonderful experience and staff was so good and friendly like family.
Thats Amul pav-bhaji.. Good taste..

This is one of the nicest street food joint around CST. It has retained its old charm. The owner is mostly around and pays attention to all customers. The pav bhaji is good with a lot of Amul butter in it. Another thing I like about this is there is no artificial red color in there. Bhaji. Even the Chaas (buttermilk) is nice. It’s a cramped place but a good hygiene option conveniently located opp CST.
It's a very old eatery right opposite CSMT. Their Pav bhaji is absolutely delicious. I know it might seem like an odd combination but their raita compliments the pav bhaji really well. Dahi vada was another dish I tried and it was also really good. It's easily a must try place. ❤️
This place is a very famous for the special butter pav bhaji's. Its exactly opposite to the CST subway. A must try with the Lassi/Chass(Butter Milk).
I am giving 4 stars for the standing arrangement and the weird smell which comes, other than that the food is just delight and buttery.
