I have tried fried rice, fry bangda and non veg thali of bangda and bombay duck.
The thali is basically all in one combination and a pocket friendly buy.

I had ordered Bombay duck rava fry, prawns rava fry,reshmi kebab, chicken stuffed kebab, everything I had ordered was very delicious, less oily, perfect taste, the staff is amazing, the service is great, the interior is also amazing. I visit this place most often with my family and friends.

If there is any place better for juicy, fresh fish fry and a great great variety I'm fond about is this place.
If your in a mood of having some good sea food then this is it.
I had surmai fry and prawns fry here, which is so crispy and juicy and really mouthwatering.
The chutney they serve is a perfect shade of geen having the perfect taste and a perfect go along with the fish.
This place is towards gorai near mhb in borivali west, I'd trade anything for good seafood like this.
Ambience - There are very few places offers candle light dinner in borivali, so when we heard they have it we had to try but it was not as expected because it was very dark and lights were not controlled properly as they should controll it when you host a candle light dinner.
Crowd type - Family crowed, young couples. place is ok for family groups and friends, also safe for only ladies groups to go.
Food taste - their specialty is malvani food and it was good i give them 4 stars for taste. only the red fish curry was not having that proper malvani taste so i had to cut 1 star otherwise it was delicioues.
Services - Slow and it was looking understaffed. we waited very long till someone came and took our order and took more time to get the food as well so i give 2 stars to service.
Cleanliness - very neat and clean place. i give 4 stars.
Recommend to try - Fish Thali, Surmai thali, Paplet Thali. Tandoori paplet was amazing. sol kadi was perfect must try.

Pangat is always famous for its non veg food. Malwani, konkani, sea food are just beyond amazing. The hotel is usually always crowded...there is a waiting queue most of the times...The place has veg food too but Non veg food is the heart of the place.
I ordered :
Paya soup, crab lollipop, bhakari, chapati, butter roti, kharwas, solkadi, prawns biryani, Wade, mutton & prawns gravy. The quantity, quality and taste was upto the mark. The food was spicy as the malwani cuisine is known for its spicy non veg food. The solkadi is soothing and the kharwas is the add on to make it a perfect meal 😍
The staff is courteous, orders are on time. Quick service. Ambience is good. A place highly recommend for non vegetarians.

Best sea food so far I've tasted. I hope you do visit sometime, if you do try the crab lollipop. The owner is also very friendly and the staff is always ready to help. Most of all very reasonable prices. They also have a branch in dahisar east. I came all the way from Thane, just to enjoy their delicious food. Hope someday they open a branch in Thane.

We have had tried their Prawns masala, Tawa Pomfret, Egg masala, Surmai thali, and the most delicious komdi vade, bhakri and solkadhi
What to say, none of the dishes lacked anywhere. They all went just perfect.
Best seafood joint of Borivali for sure
Pangat is located at Borivali west nearby Gorai. The restaurant is well known for their sea food. They mostly make it the Maharashtraian way which is always a Lil spicy. They have both AC and non AC seating. Their service is quite good as well. If the really love sea food, you need to try Pangat. All kinds of sea food are available here on the menu. They also serve chicken dishes and vegetarian dishes which are quite good as well. I would recommend Pangat to everyone.

The best place for candel light dinners and also for malvani food there you can also get nonveg thalis the ambience and the service is very nice the quality of the food is very good.

Had the best meal ever 🥘. The prawns fry and bombil fry were fresh and tasty. Both the thallis i.e pomfret and bangda thalli were wholesome. The fish was marinated well in the masala. The best place to have a fish thalli is PANGAT ❤️

Finding such great malvani cuisine in and around borivali is always a task in itself! But fear not when Pangat is here. This restaurant is popular for its fishes and for malvani cuisine as a whole. We had ordered surmai thali, bangda thali, kombdi wade, chicken thali etc. (couldn't take photos of all of them though) and it was surely delicious. They have good interiors with AC hall & Non-AC hall and the delicious fragrance of the fish lingers in the hotel thus further increasing the desire to try it. Definitely worth visiting atleast once if you are into eating fish. Also, the service is a teenie bit slow but surely worth the wait!
I like the traditional food served. Extremely tasty food🍴🍕🍔. I literally like to visit here once a month with family for get togethers. The service is also good with proper hygiene. Must visit here once, recommend to try Bombil Fry very crispy n tasty

This is my favourite place to have sea food from past 5 years. They serve fresh sea food and they have various thali options as well. This time for a change I tried their chicken biryani and trust me it's the best biryani I've ever had in borivali.

Went for the Bombil fry, the Bombil was fresh and well fried.
Prawns Fry was good, prawns were fresh too but I would go for the Prawns Koliwada, the size of the prawns were big and well fried.

After going to EsselWorld we plan to visit pangat restaurant which was quite nearby, ordered some seafood which was decent, the crab was really Juicy and good but still there is a lot of improvement possible in the restaurant like service and some improvements in food.

It has downstairs seating which is non AC and upstairs seating which is AC.
You might have to sit for waiting because it's usually crowded over weekends.
For a non vegetarian food options are great ranging from fish to chicken to mutton.
We had Bombil Fry, Prawns rava fry, Surmai tava fry and Kala mutton and kobdi vade. All dishes were fantastic would definitely recommend trying out kala mutton.
The ambiance is pretty well and service is great. It deserves its 5 * rating.
Overall a very nice experience and would definitely return to this restaurant with family and friends.

It's a very nicely done up place. Maharashtrian cuisine made delicious. Produce is of excellent quality. Taste is good. Spice levels are managed according to the urban taste. Clean and hygienic. We tried bombil fry, crab curry, and mussels masala accompanied with wade and rice. We enjoyed every bit of it.
We waited for an hour and a half to get seated and my advice would be to not visit this place on a Sunday. Once seated we took out all our stress on the food. The fish fries were good. The Vada and chicken curry combo also was something I had for the first time. Did not like it completely but was ok. The chicken curry was of mild spicy which didn't bring out the best in the chicken. The pink drink you see in the picture was really good. Do ask them about it. First sea food restaurant i have visited in Mumbai. Definitely not a bad start.

Everything we ordered was from Malvani cuisine.
We ordered Shell Fish Masala the taste was amazing. Ate it along with bhakri which was a medium size bhakri. (3.5/5).
Next we ordered Gavran Chicken Masala which was Okay but the Wade we ordered with it was superb had perfect crunch.
Lastly we ordered Chicken Tikka Biryani and Sol kadhi which was again Okay. Biryani had minimal taste and Sol Kadhi was over powered with coconut and less of kokum.
Overall the experience was good and my famil enjoyef alot.

We went to this place for lunch.. waiting for the next 25min for our turn .. The ambiance was superb. The fish was amazing we tried pomflet thali bhombil fry and oyester curry. Amazing food.. Oyester garvy is a bit sweet.. last we tried kharvas.. which is not good at all.. overall costing is a bit expensive I feel .Suggest you all go 12 30pm if you are planning to take lunch at 1pm there is a long time waiting..
