Hi I visited #Hungryvilla because of its ambience and reviews I came across recently. I went here at night to try their pizza. Couldn’t try other dishes as I had other plans. But I would be definitely going again to try shakes and other pizzas!! Coming back to my review I would say the paneer tandoor pizza was good with thin base (as I like) and it was good I’ll give this one 3.5/5 as the flavour didn’t come out well. I would like to mention that lot of people love their outer arrangements but lately it has become too hot to sit outside but it’s beautiful. My recommendation would be:
** putting a cover outside would make it desirable during monsoons while sipping a coffee and having some of the munchies in your menu. As any coffee lover would love to (kindly consider this)
P.S also please keep alternatives for payments as their swipe machine doesn’t work and so they accept only cash ! And no #Paytm

Mexican pani puri: spicy with amazing taste of jalapeños.

As this was unique place for the vegetarian food lovers decided to go for dinner.They have Mumbai's lifeline -A Railway themed restaurant. And they have portrayed it very well.
We visited it on a Monday evening surprisingly it was packed, it has approx 8 tables but it was crowded, luckily got a table as we entered.
The service is a very important aspect which is what the management should work upon. I had to ask for the menu, after waiting for 15-20 mins..

Cottage cheese steak in paprika sauce- A very filling sizzler, good quantity with cottage cheese steak, with veggies & rice, served along with a bowl of paprika sauce & rice bowl. Easily serves 2 or 3 ppl.
Overall had a very good experience except the service part. The restaurant seems to very famous amongst the crowd be it for the food or the ambiance. Must visit with family or friends.

Pavbhaji Cappuccino with bread coins : this was the most amazing dish i have ever tasted so far. The bhaji was served as Cappuccino. Taste was amazing. Mouthwatering dish. I would recommend this. If u r pav bhaji lover. Try this once.
House veg pizza : this pizza was also good in taste. Base was thin. Flavors were just amazing. Nice 11 inch pizza. With nice amount of cheese, vegetables. One of the best pizza i have ever tasted.
Overall nice experience.

Food is delicious and service was quick. The taste of mocktails needs to be improved a bit. Not too many options in desserts too. But the food is tasty and worth the money. Do try their pav bhaji it was really tasty. They have got a vast menu. The presentation was also on point. Quantity Is also sufficient.

*Cheese Potato Lollipop: The classic potato and cheese balls made perfect. Nicely stuffed with mashed potatoes and processed cheese and fried to make them perfectly crisp. - 4.5/5
*Chatpata Chowpatty Pizza: Expected this one to be chatpata and have burst of chataka flavours. But that wasn't the case. It was little on the bland side. I am not a fan of super thin pizzas. So I didn't like this one much for my taste. Otherwise it was a decent pizza. A lot to is required to make it better tho. - 3.5/5

Kala khatta house special
It was like any regular kala khatta drink except it was very sweet though tje consistency was good and thick. Moreover it was little minted too.
Mini masala papad
It is a perfect started with small papad fried and topped with veggies and lots of sinful cheese. It tasted sweet for few bites because it has pieces of pineapple too. Overall it was spicy, sweet and of salty savor due to cheese. Crunchy to much on and marinated with herbs and lime juice. I can say it felt like some modern chat to me. Lastly it is served with bell pepper salad.
Papas a la saif
Best of all and a star dish for so it is basically thick slices of deep fried potatoes dipped and served with lots of yellow cheese sauce which was just yummy to create a memorable experience of cheesiness and spiciness . The juicy and watery pieces of bell pepper and olives felt so good to iur taste buds.
Pav Bhaji cappuccino served with herbed bread coins.
A huge portion of spicy masaledar Bhaji is topped with cappuccino foam which gives bhaji the savor of little sweetness and bitterness of coffee. Moreover the whole amalgation tastes awesome with herbed bread. Worry not this is not a weird combination certainly if you happen to be a coffee & pav bhaji fan, this is something that your taste buds wouldn't ever forget. .

The presentation of the dish looked so delicious. The dish includes rice tossed in paprika chilli which was nice and spicy served along with some mashed potato which had cheese in it and some creamy paprika sauce and assorted veggies.
Cream of broccoli
It was made of fresh cream and broccoli which was boiled well and grated which was an absolute delicate for our taste buds. A very healthy Pic and must try.

Hungry Jd's is one of the best vegetarian restaurant I've come across with.
It is located at Borivali West on the link road near shubharambh ground.
It is a local train themed restaurant with open seating area decorated with car scraps, lights and big tires having board on the them with names of the stations. It is open area (non AC)still wonderful.
They also have an AC area upstairs it is made like a whole train compartment with seats and tables really really loved the concept and they also have some made up lines and quotes frame on the wall like "Director main director ek hi Karan johar pudhil station Ghatkopar"

I really loved their cheese pavbhaji fondue too is was really very cheesy and a must have.Salads aren’t that great won’t recommend to try but the food main course is just worth going for.
In main course I tried cheese pav bhaji which was loaded with cheese it was just epic.
Drinks were good to go with the Ganga jamuna was freshly made .
Desserts are great too tried the kulfi , sizzling brownie and the chocolate martini 🍸.

Hungry jd just visted today has very good varieties as well as good taste like pani puri vada pav crispy vegetables pizzas... its just yum 😋 whoever will taste this will go here again and again.. It gives good feeling like sitting in train and having dinner... New concenpt here in borivali.. So i would suggest everyone to just visit this place and experience yourself... A Good Place, With Completely a Different concept of Mumbai Local Train theme.. Ambience is good..service is also good..owner is quite polite and handles all the cuatomers very well.. just quantity of food is less compared to other restaurant with same price range.. apart from it everything is good.. a place to visit 👌

The food is amazing...I have tried Punjabi dishes and they were great....if u have Zomato gold then this place is a bargain for u... Ambience is also great the A.C section feels actually like a train... The outdoor section is soothing.

Located on Link Road, Borivali West, not to difficult to locate coz of the proper sized sign boards.
JDs has 2 sections, 1 is the open spaced arrangement and other is the closed one, with AC..on the first floor,
The theme here is the usp..its Like a snapshot of Mumbai Life with its life line - Mumbai Locals..❤️
The open space has a great Decor with seating amidst the dim lights which pleases your eyeballs.. a true Mumbaikar will definitely find it amazing 😀
Visited on a sunny afternoon so chose to sit in the ac area on the first floor, surprisingly we had the feeling exactly of an AC First Class Coach of Local trains..Lovely Arrangements..
After much of discussion and pondering thru the menu..our order consisted of
1. Spiced Water Chipotle Pani Puri
Good in taste, something different than the regulars we've been having since years..
2. Cheesy pakoras
Loaded with cheese wholly from inside..served piping hot..had a great taste..along with the chutney..
3. Desi nachos with Chatpati Chat
Among the 3, liked this one the most.. nice taste and well prepared nachos along with tomato pury type chutney and Cheese..
All dishes well served , liked the service as well..
Aside, Don't know if I am right enuf..but found the menu a little over priced.. at the very start of venture..the menu shouldn't be overpriced.. anyways, just a personal opinion..
will visit again for sure to try other delicacies..

Pls educate your staff about the menu you've designed, they were not much confident while giving us suggestions..though polite, they Shud be quick to address our queries..

The food here is just amazing and unique in taste all their dishes are with a twist.. must try restaurant the service is a bit slow . Also it's recommended to sit in the non AC area. As their AC section gets too noisy . Overall a great place with great food

The place has the best decor. There are two sitting areas one is air-conditioned and the other is outdoor which is open in the evening. 🔥
The place is done smartly giving it a look of Mumbai local train. We had to wait for a long time because it was Sunday and there were lot of people in waiting. The food we found little expensive but we had zomato Gold so we got a discount. The food i would rate 4.5.😍
The quantity of Alfredo Pasta was very less. Otherwise the taste of everything was worth the penny. The quantity of noodles and sizzler was good. The food was piping hot and scrumptious. The overall experience was very beautiful. We would like to visit the place again to explore the menu.

Total feel of Mumbai in the place. You’ll find some great food and amazing ambience. The food actually left us happy. Good quality of food and fresh feel. We tried:
Cranberry Mojito and Pineapple Caipiroska: very very refreshing! Great flavour and chilled. Loved it the most.
Thepla tacos with paneer: spicy and delicious. Good blend of Mexican with Indian. Definitely a must try
Spinach cheese ball: good taste. Not extra ordinary but will satisfy your taste buds
House veggies: loaded with veggies, crispy and tasty.
Mexican pani puri: spicy with amazing taste of jalapeños.
Veg Paprika: this is our another favourite. Properly flavoured rice with creamy spicy sauce.
Chocolate martini: it’s like having melted ice cream. Super yummy
Overall a good place on link road, Mumbai themed with good decor . We were sitting in the open and the staff was kind enough to let my pug inside with us as he is pretty quiet and does not disturb any 1. Pav Bhaji fondue was good. The drinks were good. Some other stuff we ordered was OK ok. It's a good place to sit and chill. Overall I felt it was a bit over priced.

It has non ac open seating on the ground floor with counters on one end , one side train and station is seen on the opposite wall station names are written, and ac seating on first floor which are interiored like local train coaches. During our visit to Borivali this time we decided to enjoy a dinner at Hungry JD which we have heard a lot about .
The place has very Aamchi Mumbai feel where there is AC seating in a local train kind of Ambience . However we loved the open space downstairs which has good seating and lighting as well . Mosquitoes may hinder your good time here so request for a repelant coil straight away below your table .

We tried their two variants ie Classic and Mexican . Classic was better however the Mexican touch was also a delightful one .
Mini Masala Papad:
Best starter and a must try for all you people fond of Masala Papad .
Papas A La Saif:
That's the house Speciality . Basically Crisp potato discs topped with their special creamy Sauce . Loved the Delicacy .
Spring Roll:
Favorite Chinese dish of ours. The stuffing of their spring Roll is very fresh and has a perfect balance of all the ingredients .
Aloo Phal Chaat :
This luscious chaat which has combination of Aloo , onions , along with Pomegranate and Pineapple along with tangy and spicy Chatni and finally topped with Corrainder with mint leaves .

These were yummy and exactly the way it got to be . The juicy Manchurian balls were super tasty and fresh.

A cool dessert to end a great meal . Sweet and creamy endeavour after all .
Overall a lovely experience and can't wait enough to visit this place soon again .

The food at Hungry JD's is exceptional. The variety and the fusion is fantastic. Some of the dishes such as Mexican Pani Puri was very tasty. The service they provided was also perfect. The Ambience is good for dinner.
Have never seen such an amazing menu. The place is really comfortable and really cosy. It’s local trains theme rocks. Good for families and also for a group of friends to hangout. We ordered the famous Latino cheese burst vada pav which was a bit spicy, but seriously loved it. We also had ordered cheese corn balls from the today’s special menu. They were good too. And dal khichdi was awesome too. Would love to visit again! The open space below the restaurant building is beautifully set up. Overall, it was one of the best restaurants I had visited.
The place is little bit far from borivali station but it has really a good ambiance. It's like a 2floor building which is made as such as Mumbai local train and it looks quite amazing. Ambiance is good. And when we take a look at restaurant menu, it's like all the Mumbai junk food with a different twist of taste. I tried Cream of broccoli soup, Bangkok style veg crispy, Maharaja pizza, Veg paprika, Desi nachos. And it was good in taste.
Tasty food, here you can enjoy food with your friends & family good for vegetarians because they serves only vegetarian food...we have ordered so much all items was good specialy veg Albela, Chee's burst vada pav & Tulsi mojito...

good food, amazing ambience, nice outdoor seating. it's got a very other worldly charm. reminds me somehow of auroville, with its quirky decor! a great way to spend an evening, chilling out instead of merely "dining"!
We've tried a few restaurants in Mumbai and this is the best one yet. Nice and cozy inside with some funky touches
