The place is good in food and dine in to..🥰but as I was working in my corporate sector I was or having time for the meal so decided to order from home itself...and believe me tha taste was too good and fabolous..the delivery man was pleasant in nature and the time taken from outlet to delivery drop was not more and the food was warm..the important point was the Changing amount was also been carried by that man which saved the time and I was happy...

Ostaad is a place with one of the best ambience in the city! They have a perfect date night decor! Elegant and classy! Their menu consists of Iranian/Afghan cuisine and it's very diverese. The staff is very courteous and the food is yumm. I tried the Ostadi Polav and Iranian prawn curry and both of them were extremely delicious! Definitely will visit again!!!
Want to experience a true Afghani and Iranian cuisine, ostaad is the go to place. We tried their mezze platter, aloo quiran sabji with some Indian breads and also crispy haullomi fritters and hussaini paneer tikka. Their menu is very elaborate for both veg and non veg dish which I liked. Their dishes have some unique names on the menu which caught my attention and I enjoyed my time here. I will recommend this place to everyone.
Last week i was in mumbai in my aunt's home as there was a function. So one day i was alone there and i was hungry too, so i thought of ordering food from a restaurant and i came across this restaurant.
I ordered murgh parda biryani ,it was served with curd.
The biryani was so good , it was made up of good quality rice and the chicken was also in a good quantity.
The quality of the food was five star.
The packaging was also fine.
This is a great place to have the best Indian cuisine. You will get the best Indian food with some twists in it. The staff is very amazing and they will help you with the best food to select. We had murgh pastooni seekh which was very delicious. We had ostaad polov which was very unique and tasty and it was the signature dish. We ended our food with Kulfi rabri which was mouth watering.

We went here for holi lunch, and opted for ala carte instead of their set menu as it looked more tempting. Peshawari paneer - stir fried paneer with onions and bell peppers. This dish was super yummy and left us salivating for more.
Spanakopita - stuffed with spinach, the pastry was very buttery and flaky.
Mezze - the pita was quite flavoursome and even the 3 dips complimented it very well. Definitely a good dish to share with friends.
Mushroom galawati - these kebabs were the highlight of our lunch. The perfectly spiced melt in the mouth kebabs, had a strong mushroom flavour and definitely a must try.
Tajik stuffed potatoes - even this dish was a standout as the sweet and spicy flavour of the stuffing leaves you wanting for more.
Ostaadi pulav - it was a combination of a pulav and biryani, was well spiced and a good dish.
Ostaadi dal - this was a black dal made in dal makhani style. Tasted good. No complaints.
Baklava - i was assuming this to be the highlight of our meal but was a little bit disappointed. It was not bad but not great either. I have definitely eaten way better baklavas so this was a bit of a let down.
Chocolate fondant - a lava cake with ice cream was what we were served. The ice cream was a bit weird as it was a tad bit icy. And the cake was quiet regular.
The ambience is good, there were 2 musicians performing which was great. Initially it created a great ambience and they were playing very well for quiet enjoyable but later it became very loud and felt a bit noisy as it was difficult to hear to the person sitting next to you.
The service was decent, a bit slow specially for the desserts as they took quiet a lot of time to hit the table but the experience was good.
My rating is mainly for the starters as they were very good. Desserts- nothing to be missed can easily skip.

Yesterday I was feeling so hungry so I decided to order something online from ostaad at my place. I ordered murgh parda biryani at my place. This is such a nice place with beautiful ambience , the seating arrangement of this place was really good . Whenever I go there they full fill my expectations . I ordered sulatni kabab and kadak sekh roll . Both are very tasty . The sultani kabab was very tasty and they well cooked . Also the kadak sekh roll was very innovative and tasty.

Its more famour for non veg food, i love seafood so for the starters we tried “tandoori pomfret” its not a bony fish so quite easy to have, it was midly spiced and the flesh was so delicate, even if you are trying it for the first time “no fishy smell” would be there.
For mains we simply ordered the fragrant “zeerrsh polov” the berry pulao, very different taste and its a not to miss out dish from my side!
Next we tried “turkmani dal” quite a different concept as restaurants generally do not serve moong dal but this one is really delicious cooked in a different way!

Recently visited Ostaad located in Lower Parel, Mumbai. I ordered barrah kebab and sultani kebab. And the kebab's were so delicious and yummy. The flavour was totally different and superb. I tried those kind of kebab for the first time. If we talk about ambience it was lavish and beautiful. If you're near Lower Parel, Mumbai then you must pay a visit to Ostaad for some delicious food and cozy ambience.
Few days back i visited Ostaad for a family dinner. Its a nice place with modern interiors and comfortable seating. You can visit here for lunch or dinner dates, get toghether with friends, kittie parties, office lunch and dinners.

Went to this place when I was in Mumbai. I Ordered Raan ostaadi. The staff was very responsive and gente plus the ambience was really good. Slow music played gave good vibes. The crowd was good too and really enjoyed eating the tasty and fresh food. Will surely recommend this place to everyone.

Ostaad is a really good place to go for a team lunch. Being situated in a business hub, they have made the most of it by promoting their corporate lunch menu. A hassle free, time saving way to order food. The 4+ set selections in both veg and non-veg, gives enough variety and is very tasty. The corporate lunch gets you roti, curry, salads, pickle and a sweet dish.
Ostaad- Very delightful place. We had visited the place with a bunch of colleagues ad had a great feast time.
Food is good. They serve alot of varieties. Ambience is Pleasant. Professional staff. Ask them for help and they are there.

Visited Ostaad recently with couple of my friends. Good ambience and Good hygience defines the place. The management is in order and the server were very polite and courteous.
We went with something the manager recommended and was highly satisfied.
Some of the things we ordered were :
Chicken soup with chickpeas dumpling. Highly recommended. The use of pepper or kalimiri is what elevates the taste of soup.
Their chicken kebab is to die for. Spicy and perfectly charred. For all the mutton lover raan zafrani is a delight to have and is lerf ct with the Afghani khamiri.
All in all a good Afghani dining experience. Will surely visit the place again

This is a nice fine dine restaurant which has an very cool and an Arabic ambience and the ambience is quite luxurious which makes our dining experience very awesome I loved the restaurant very much the service also which they provide is pretty nice and gives an amazing authentic sign of luxury. I had ordered 1x Seekh kebabs the presentation of the dish was also very nice and cool like the dish itself shows that there was a sort of hard work for making that dish. I liked the restaurant very much.

Ostaad is the famous lounge in lower Parel serving delicious dishes like kebab, afghani and Indian too. They have live music night everyday to enjoy and have a pleasant time with loved ones. Also they held Sufi nights on weekends to attract the crowd and make it a memorable night. Full bar is also available at the outlet. Staff was very well versed with the menu and friendly in service too. Outlet was very decorated in infra. Have been here last week, we have ordered for paneer kebab and afghan dishes too. Paneer kebab was perfectly roasted and topped with veggies and spicy sauce served with green chutney.

What a stunning spot to be.. truly feel is so tasteful and astounding.. furthermore, the perspective on encompassing is basically extraordinary vibes.. I went to this spot last weak with my buddies when we were there for some conference indeed, even this spot is so well known among voyagers and vacationer as well.. to be straightforward.. Nourishment was alright in taste.. administration was excellent and the ambience of the place is pretty amazing totally loved the place..and food was really pretty by name n taste too

This casual dining cum bar in Lower Patel, serves authentic Iranian and Afghan kebabs and dishes that have super exotic ingredients and names!
The menu itself excited me so much that I could barely resist trying quite a lot of them.
First, the instanbul baked lamb kofta with cheese - mince mashed lamb well marinated in Persian spices and topped, rather literally wrapped up in spicy cheese.
For all sea food lovers, I would recommend the skilley fried fish cakes with olives - do ask them which fish they use as it might depend on the availability sometimes.
They also have a special section known as "from the cash iron grills" Where food is prepared the authentic way. My favorite was the Shiraazi Jhinga - jumbo prawns marinated in red wine, jalapenos and garlic paste giving it a really delicious twist.
For mains, I had the Murgh samarkand which is a slow roasted preparation of boneless chicken in cured in yellow chilli and star anise and cooked slow with warqi parantha.
After this, I was really tempted to have the baklava that is enriched loads of dry fruits and nuts but I was too full for it.
Can't wait to go back!

This place was just amazing. Its built so beautifully and the ambience was just amazing. The things that I liked the most were Hussaini Paneer Tikka and Kadak Seekh Roll. Well had a lunch with my friend at this amazing restaurant. Which is located at Lower Parel. The food here is literally mouth watering. The service was very nice. The ambience is too cool also!! The quality and quantity of the food is also great too.!!!

Kebab:- Superb delicious starter ever had. It was damm tasty and was literally mouth watering. The one who loves kebab should not miss this dish if you ever plan to visit here!!

Went here for a Sunday lunch with my father. We wanted to eat some really good Afghani food. I was zomato-ing few restaurants and I absolutely loved the menu of this place, hence I planned on visiting it. The ambience is very classy & decent. It's kind of a fancy place as well. They have good menu for drinks as well as food.
What I ordered :
* MOCKTAILS
• So berries (5/5): This was a good combination of berries and some milk added to it. It was a bit sweet and had a good texture to it.
• Apple & Mint Mule (3/5): This was classic apple and mint Mojito kinda. Refreshing enough!
* STARTERS
• Murgh Pashtooni Seekh (4/5): These were rectangular chicken seekh. These were very very delicious and had a nice saffron-y kinda flavour. A must try.
• Spanakopita (4/5): This is an authentic dish, stuffed with spinach, onions, cheeses and herbs that are all enfolded by crispy, flaky phyllo dough. Something different I tried as recommended by the chef. Really good!
* MAINS
• Murgh Samarkand with Afghan Khameri (4/5): This was boneless chicken gravy. Mildly spicy but had a good flavour. Went well with the Afghan Khameri which is a nice thick naan like & was whole-wheat.
• Ostaad Chicken Biryani (3/5): Had a good aroma to it. The quantity was pretty good and tasted really well when you have it while it's warm.
* DESSERT
• Baklava (4/5): Sweet dessert pastry made of layers of filo filled with chopped nuts & honey. A good one to end your meal on a sweeter note.
Would definitely like to visit this place again to try other stuffs of theirs!

Mumbai’s Kamala Mills area in Lower Parel has a new addition to its roster of luxury, fine-dining spaces, and this one comes with a distinct edge. Ostaad is a Central Asian restaurant - a rarity even in a city that is otherwise overwhelmed with all manner of contemporary and traditional cuisines—and as the name suggests, has a distinct, almost romantic inflection of old-world regalia. Chandeliers, geometric tiles and arched mirrors infuse Ostaad with the Central Asian touch. Blue chairs, white tables and a big contemporary bar balance the ornate décor. The restaurant will serve the cuisines of Balochistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan. Coming to food pallete we started with red bean salad a perfect start for the meal. In main course we ate Damboli which was truly delicious, it consists of fresh vegetables cooked with ginger & ostaad spices. After that we had Mezze platter, it includes 3 types of hummus. we also tried scrumptious mushroom baklava, Iranian prawns curry. We ended up with Afghani Dessert Umali which was satisfying & delicious, it's a freshly baked thick & sweet condensed milk puff pastry topped with crunchy nuts.

As the name goes, the place has lavish interiors with the same kinda vibes to make your visit worth your time! I went two days before at the peak time and the service was so quick then too which I liked the most! The food here is good too, we had seena kebab, hakkari pot roast chicken which were perfect in taste. My visit was really an amazing one! I'd highly recommend this place ✔

A very pleasant ambience with a nice atmosphere. Ostaad is a recommended place for some best Central Asian Cuisine. I tried some of their best dishes and they are as follows-
Azerbaijani Chicken Stew Soup-
Fine Yellowish color soup with a balanced amount of creaminess and chunks of soft tender chicken. An absolutely must try soup.
Baghdadi Murgh Tikka-
A non spicy starter, Baghdadi Murgh Tikka is a recommended starter by the staff here and must say that it was an excellent recommendation.
Tabarah Murgh Wazina-
A medium spicy main course with a good texture and large chunks of chicken. The Tabarah Murgh Wazina is a must try main course with Afghan Khameeri bread and Naan, thats the best combination certainly.
Baklava-
Last but not the least, coming onto the sweet surprise there is none other than Baklava to try out for here. Must say evey bite of this dessert was just awesome with a very nice texture of little sweet honey and Pistachio on top.
Will surely come back to this place to try out more

Some of the juiciest kebabs that I have had in Mumbai in recent times. The Sultani Kebab is my favourite out of the many varieties that they serve here. Delicious food, great ambience and good service. The perfect place to dine on a weekend and the pricing isn't too high as well. A lovely venue to relax and have a good time with friends.

We decided to visit this place on Thursday to brighten up our day.
To avoid any disappointment, we had done our reservations.
Ostaad offers wide range of Kebab, Iranian, Afghan cuisines.
This casual fine dine place was outstanding for the evening with indoor seating.
Food was delicious and full of flavours.
And the hospitality too was great.
Nice and elegant décor with classy personalised cutlery.
They have live music nights over the weekend.
Reservations are recommended on weekends.
Staff was very courteous and made us feel very comfortable.
I was so eager to try out Afghani flavours, loved all of them.
We ordered couple of Vegetarian dishes.
They have good varieties for Vegetarian too.
I tried Kala Khatta in drinks which was nice.

A place that serves shahi food and makes you feel like you're sitting in one as well. The Mezze Platter and Turkish roll are to die for. I totally recommend going here for a light brunch with close friends. Also that the ambiance is so cool and the staff are so courteous, sure for you to love this place. I was here with my cousins on my visit to Mumbai. I was just in love with The taste of the food. Everything was so amazing.
Also the Beetroot galouti require a special mention. We tried many of their vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes and also their Signature cocktail was the best. The ambiance is also so lively and the staff were so calm and good to us. The food was served in so less time and tasted so good too. It's a must visit place if you are in Mumbai. Ambience:- As you enter one thing you surely notice that royale feeling. They have put the theme of black and gold. The music was Arabic which was not understood but it was going with the place and we enjoyed it. The Sitting was quite comfortable. They have sat for 4 people to 10-12 People on a single table. The places can easily hold 60-70 people at a time. There was a bar on one side and mirror with lighting under them on the other side. They have put the hanging lamp on each table. You will get the feeling you are having lunch/dinner in the Arab country.

The staff had a good knowledge of every dishes which is important. We finalized the dishes and waited for drinks and food.
In some minutes we got our drinks and without much time waiting for the dishes started to come one by one. Service was quite good.

this place is situated in the very famous kamala nagar in the trade tower on the ground floor which is just 10-15mins walking distance from the nearest lower parel station. it has a very cool and indian themed restaurant which is just perfect for a family lunch or dinner.

🔹 Turkish roasted cauliflower and broccoli florets with cumin- tried this for the first time but this is perfect for all the health conscious crowd. it had cauliflower and broccoli which were roasted qith very minimal spices. it was very light in its taste.
🔹 Sultani chicken kebabs- it was just perfect for someone who loves kebabs like me. it was very nicely tandoored and the marination was very flavourful. chicken was very soft.
🔹Murgh parda biryani- this dish was the highlight of my lunch. it was very tasty with perfectly balanced spices in it. it had a very good quantity which was totally worth the price.
🔹murgh Samarkand- This was a chicken gravy which had very buttery taste to it. its quantity was little less but after having so many dishes..it was ok for us.
🔹 Afghan khamiri- this was something that i tried for the first time. it was good. it had the texture of a tandoori roti but it was quite different in its taste.
🔹aish al saraya- this is a must try dish if you visit this place. it was kind of a custard but had bread in its lower layer. the custard part was too yummy. just loved it.

Ostaad is famous for its Middle-Eastern fare with equally good Indian cusine as well.
As soon as you enter, you're bound to go "Wow"
The ambience is very well done up, with yellow lights and greenery on the ceiling.

For Appetizers we tried -
Black Bean Chilli Paneer: Soft cubes of paneer sautéed with veggies in a spicy and tangy sauce.
This was one of the best paneer dishes we've had.

Hakka Style Lotus Stem with Water Chestnut: Thin slices of lotus stem, fried and sautéed with veggies and lots of garlic.
This is the first time we've tried Lotus stem and we absolutely loved it!
Definitely a must-try🙌
Spicy chicken dumplings: Dumplings stuffed with chicken and steamed to perfection.
This is served with chilli oil and schezwan sauce which provide a strong additional flavour to it.
For mains we tried -
Messy Wonton Triangles: Fried wonton with a medley of exotic veggies in a sweet and tangy Hunan sauce.
The flavours were amazing in this. However, the wontons should have had some sort of a filling, which was amiss.
We ended our meal with Brownie and Icecream.
A chocolatey brownie topped with vanilla ice-cream.
Perfect combination!
All-in-all, Ostaad is a great place for a meal at Lower Parel.

I was overly surprised by this place. The service is impeccable and the food is just great with really good portions. Not to miss out on the Baklava that was served warm and melted in our mouths. A definite place to visit. It will keep you coming back for more.
A really good restaurant for food from the Middle East and Central Asia, with a good range of kebabs and Raan dishes. There is a fair bit of food for vegetarians to and I did find a lot of people enjoying veg food as well. The staff is good, very helpful and prompt. Cocktails were pretty good and they did customize them for us a bit. From the ambience perspective, we would have liked brighter lighting to make the colors on the dishes really pop.
Ostaad is one of the most beautiful place in Lower Parel. Recently dropped by here for an amazing lunch. Ambiance is so beautiful & eyecatchy. You can’t take your eyes off this beautiful place & the vibe here is just amazing.
They’ve introduced Tangra Chinese Hakka Style which was quite good and worth trying. Messy Wontons, Veg Exotic Dimsums & Pan Fried Noodles is just worth try here. I loved the Veg Exotic Dimsums. Perfect in taste, just loved it. Pan Fried Noodles is a must try. Semi fried noodles with exotic gravy was too good & fantastic in taste. Just loved it. For Desserts I tried the Aish Al Saraya which was recommended by the staff here and I genuinely fell in love with the taste of it! It was so good.

This one situated in Kamala Mills makes sure you have a great time. With Central Asian food, kitchen and cooks, this place serves you some yummy authentic food from across the Central Asia.
It comes in category of Bayoute and Taftoon; we thought this place has so much variety of food which is more so of a mix of Bayroute and Taftoon.
To add on to, this is also one of the few places in Mumbai to serve QUAIL.

The place is new but you see crowd coming in big numbers already to try their food as the location is good and ambiance is classy.
We started with their plum shooter which is a plum puree mocktail and were blown away. This one was different and super refreshing.
We tried their Iranian Berries cocktail which was a sangira with berries. Superb.
We also tried their Pommy Bomb which is pomogranate with chilli and vodka. We loved it's after burn .. haha so unique
For starters we ordered the chefs special ones -
The Moorgh Pashtooni Sheekh - which was minced chicken in native spiced mix , was so tender and is finished in a clay oven
Lamb Adana Kebab from Turkey which is so tender and juicy and makes for a treat
Kadak Sheekh roll was again Lamb Kebabs but with cheese and coated with chef special spices.
The best was Zafrani Tandoori Jheenga which is tandoored with saffron infusion and spices.

For mains - we tried their Mutton which was made in onions and tomatoes , sweet and tangy but super succulent
And their spicy chicken dish
But the highlight was their kaali dal - It is marinated for an entire night to give it that perfect flavour
