Best missal in chembur. Very close to my place, so I'm a regular visitor. Self Service, Good seating arrangement. I bet you will love the missal pav. Must have: Missal Pav, Kanda Bhaji, Malpuva and Lassi.

Bhatt restaurant serve traditional maharashtrian food. Do visit with your family and friends and try some maharashtrian breakfast and lunch.
The puri bhaji with chole and aloo bhaji is really good over here. The Misal is also drooling of this place. would really recommend this place to give it a try,

This hotel is one of the best things that could have happened to Chembur. I really love the food that they prepare and it is one of my favourite places in all of Mumbai for Misal Pav. One stop for misal. It is sooooo good. Like I always prefer and this is the only place that comes in my mind when I'm craving for misal pav. And yeah a vada with it is just too perfect. You guys should really try this place.
This time when I visited this place I ordered two misal and one vada plate the total was 130 so the misal is for around 50 per plate. The vada must be around 20-30 bucks. Then i even ordered for chaas and it was Rs.15 per glass and it was so satisfying.

Bhatt, is a legendary outlet in Chembur. It has been around for a long time. The taste of the Misal has not changed through the years. It is as spicy and delicious as it was when my dad was a kid. The place has been renovated in the past few years. We visited this place in the afternoon yesterday. We were hungry and on a budget.

This is a must have at this place. Make sure you have a bottle of water or something sweet already ordered, cause this misal is hot, even without the Tari. Tari, is the layer of red masala oil, floating on the top of the misal. If, you do not like your misal too spicy, let the person at the counter know while he takes down your order.
#Kanda Bhaji -7/10
We had never tried this earlier at Bhat. The bhaji was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chutney served with the bhaji was yummy and something which we have never seen being served with bhaji.
TIPS:
1. The place has limited seating, so it might be difficult to find place to sit during peak hours.
2.It is a self-service outlet.
3.If you are thinking of getting a parcel, carry your own containers as they charge Rs.30-40 for a container( it is a nice one)but, still carrying your own container is preferable.
This place is worth going to. It’s my ritual place to go here every Sunday Sunday and have the spiciest misal. It is so good that I can’t wait for Sunday anymore.

You do half century cycle ride on weekend and are craving for something spicy very very badly, what comes to the mind when you are in Chembur- Navi Mumbai area is this place then you head to this place for awesome brkfst.
An authentic maharashtrian food eatery place where you get, Misal, vadapau, bhajiyas, lassi, Puri bhaji and more but when we come here we usually have these things.
1) vadapau - the authentic maharashtrian taste accompanied with yellow chutney and lasun powder, this is something I personally don't miss having here.
2) bhajiyas - always opt for Kanda bhajiya... Methi bhajiyas are good but if it's kept for a longer time and not hot then taste is not good.
3) Misal : though the Misal qty is less comparatively but still it's really one of the best Misal ever found in central line.
4) Sheera : today we had Pineapple sheera which was good though not the best.
5) lassi and chaas : the proper thing to have to end your snacks.
So next time whenever you are in this chembur do stop at this place to grab Vadapau and Misal.

We tried the Missal Paav here.
Missal Pav- Usal i.e. a broth made with matki (moong sprouts), a variety of masalas and topped with some farsaan which converts the usal into a Misal. Misal is usually spicy but the spice level is altered at many places to suit the likings of the people. The Misal here is spicy but not to the extremes.
Overall it's a good deal for the price.

I had read the reviews here and thought to give it a try and I must say.I just loved the missal Pav.Its a very simple hotel which has self service but the food is authentic.
The place for missal in Chembur! It's been around since my father was a teenager and has only gotten better with time. I've never ordered anything else from this place except:
Missal Pav with extra batata (potato) bhaji and tari (for additional spiciness). They used to remain closed on alternate Fridays (which ones, I'm not sure) but in the risk of it being closed, I avoid going here on Fridays.
The only issue is that they have no home delivery :(
This is probably the only place for authentic missal in city. I have never tasted such missal in mumba thane Area .
And above all , along with good quality it’s price are the lowest in Mumbai city.

Bhatt Vishranti Gruh is the place very much famous for missal pav. They serve the spiciest and the tastiest missal according to me. This place is located at chembur naka. And it’s here since 3-4 decades ago. So being a chemburkar this is surely one close to my heart.
Earlier this place was just a tapir with wooden tables and benches but now more like a hotel. It’s a self-service hotel; with pay first and they collect your order. Along with missal they serve yellow sheera (sweet), vada pav, missal pav,and main course too. From my grandfather, to my father to me, it served almost three generation and more.
I took my boyfriend here and he was amazed to taste the spiciest and the tastiest missal. And he loved. Not exaggerating, it was worth. They have lassi and other soft drink too, which will be must after having missal. The oil will be floating all over your missal and served along with sev, onions and two pav (bread loaf). Without sev is 30rs and with sev around 40.
This place gives me a pure maratha kind of feeling whenever I visit, with frames of shiv sens, shivaji maharaj.
Trust me don’t miss out the best missal out there. At least try whenever you are around.

Tried this place out today and must say was pleasantly surprised. It’s a small but neat little joint that serves Maharashtrian fare and has a very limited menu. You have to first pay at the counter and pick your order from the delivery counter. Quite liked the concept for a small non-description joint. This way they save expenses and are probably able to keep the prices down. I guess they are predominantly good at Misal Pav, Usal Pav etc and that’s what my wife and I tried today. Must say it was one of the better misal Pav that we have had in a long time. It’s very spicy and hot though and you can increase the level of spice by adding more ‘tari’ (red spicy oil given in vati). Also had a plate of kanda bhajia which came with dry and wet chutney. Again this was very tasty.
So if you are in mood to have some misal pav in the morning - head to this place which is right on Chembur Naka opp MTNL exchange building.

Have been a regular visitor to Bhatt since 1988, those days it used to be a tapri with wooden tables and benches, over the years the flavors have remained similar. Happened to visit it this morning for misal pav (probably after a year or slightly longer period). Miss the serving on table - it's self service, pay first & collect ur order. Also miss the rajgiri chikki that we used to top up the spicy misal at the cash counter. Haven't had equivalent misal elsewhere in Bombay. If u are in a pissed mood - ask for extra tari (spicy gravy). Trust me the spices make your anger vanish. It will remain a mouth (and eye) watering experience. Must try
Just tried! Ordered from here as one of our staff person giving Misal pav party. Must try misal pav. It's so spicy, so delicious! Guys should try at least once. Sheera is add on which goes with the dish. You can also have batata Wada which also goes with the misal.

This is an amazing joint for trying out local Maharashtrain snacks. Majorly known for their moderately spicy but tasty Misal pav; they have lovely batata vadas too. I remember coming to this place with my parents when I was a kid; the taste of food is still the same. The place is clean, the service is quick and I love watching the fish in the fish tanks kept there while waiting.
Eco-friendly ways: While taking parcels, they allow you to carry your own steel containers. This saves us from getting unnecessary plastic containers.

People in and around chembur know this iconic joint. This place is well known to all misal/ Usal lovers. From so many years people are coming in for their misal pav and chai. Most of people walking in order these 2 things. Definitely a must visit place.
* Ask for the tari seperately to make it more spicier
Parking for 2 wheeler is there for four wheeler will have to find place nearby.
Awesome place to have a spicy Misal.... without dahi u get the Jada farsan and with dahi u get the thin sev version, u also get Usal / usal with vada, Malpua etc.... but Misal tops the list..
They need to work on their iconic Misal again there is something changed which is not the same as the old misal they used to serve. I think it's paav they need to work on little and if they can provide some lemon with it while eating it would be great also if they can automate this ordering thing then it will be faster as the current ordering process is weird.
This place is quite famous for some lip-smacking breakfast .
Misal pav is the best here and popular
Beside that the wada pav is really delectable and the green chutney is mind-blowing
Sabudana wada is also delicious and all dishes are really affordable
