Had been to Stax Bar for dinner last week to try their special Italian seafood menu. it's a big classy place with beautiful ambiance. the chef explained the menu to us and we knew this is going to be great experience. the seafood menu is very exclusive with 1q dishes on offer. we tried the Buridda soup which had prawns and calamari in it. the bowl came with prawns nicely presented in it and the soup was poured onto it which had the calamari. it was a good start to the evening. Then we tried Polpo, Bombay Mushi Frito Misto, Anatra Bombay which basically was braised Octopus, Mushi fish and Bombay Duck. I have to say I loved all three Appetizers. the Anatra Bombay which was a croquette of Bombay Duck stuffed with cream cheese and the coating had the perfect crisp! The braised Octopus was a new experience for me and I completely relished it. it was served with peppercorn sauce. the Mushi fish had to be my favorite among the Appetizers. it was very well suited to my Indian palate, if was served with pistou sauce which is a slight variation of pesto sauce. We also had the Spaghetti Scampi which was made from in-house made spaghetti with scampi prawns. this was another dish which had an very authentic touch, it really felt good to try something different from the pasta game. For the mains we had Pomfret which was marinated with herbs and chilli. it was steam cooked to perfection. the fish was the freshest one will find in the market. I usually like the fried version of Pomfret like many of us soo steamed fish is not really my most favorite. but for those who love it. it was perfectly cooked. we also had the Vongole. it had clams and made from fresh cocunut and onion. this one had a very Indian feel to it. the taste gravy reminded me of the aromas of the konkan region of Maharashtra. it was served with garlic bread. and then finally, we had the classic Tiramisu and I must say, this was one of the best Tiramisu's I've ever had. I wouldn't mind just walking in to have a piece of it. The service was absolutely fantastic staff was very polite and friendly. it was all a very classy affair. Instagram: @thechowsquad

Italian fine dine at its best is what STAX offers! It is everything you could expect from Hyatt and not a morsel was disappointing. 5 star service with the chef explaining each dish and the servers explaining the plating. The food on each plate I had was a story and narrated that way.
I went to STAX for their Sea Food Festival which they are conducting till the 25th of January 2020. A selection of 11 Italian dishes given the twist of indigenous sea food of mumbai.
My favourites among the lot I tried-
CIOPPINO - a broth based in tomato and shellfish with super healthy clams. The stew was mildly spicy and tangy and a much needed on this unusually cold night in Mumbai.
BURIDDA - this was a prawn and calamari soup. Again the soup in itself was tasting enough sea food and the texture was really smooth.
ANATRA BOMBAY - I have never had bombay duck (bombil) like this. When this lovely fish is stuffed with cream cheese and deep fried in croquette crumb you are bound to get a good appetizer. Along with the tomato salsa chutney these croquettes were outstanding.
BOMBAY MUSHI FRITO MISTO - mushi deep fried in a fish and chips style batter with herbs in the batter was a fabulous crunchy goodness for me. Pesti just took it to another level.
GRANCHIO FAGOTTONI - when sweet crab meat paired with lemon and chilli is wrapped in pasta and drizled with creamy white wine based sauce is just royally pleasing.
POMFRET - okay so pomfret is not my favourite fish but STAX just simply put it in front of me steamed to perfection with herb and chilli marination. I had no choice of stopping from digging into this fleshy goodness.
TIRAMISU - my favourite dessert and plated so well with a thank you note written in coffee. After all the savoury this completed my meal on a high note.
Other notable mention from my meal included the Spaghetti Scampi (made with shellfish bique).
So head to STAX to enjoy this sea food fest and Italian lovers can try this Indian fish twist. I was served and made felt like a Royal.
So I visited this place on my birthday and I was floored by the wonderful hospitality by our sever Yuvraj. The taste of Rissoto and Pizza was quite authentic , and the portion sizes were large enough for three of us. Chef Yuvraj extended their hospitality by baking a special dessert for my birthday . Special shoutout to our server Yuvraj, chef Yuvraj and his team with Dheeraj . Loved the place - 5/5..
A special evening spent well thanks to Stax team. Service given by Sagar’s team member Sandhya at our table was upto the mark. The humble attitude towards guest is all a customer wants thanks for it.
About the food it was marvellous a perfectly cooked pasta was all I needed for the night. Thanks to chef Balvant I had the best Roast chicken in years.

Went over for my birthday dinner date, and let me tell you, over the years after being at almost every luxury dinning place in the city, be it from Taj, Lalit, Hilton to Hyatt. This one truly takes the cake at one of the best looking places, the moment you enter Stax, you’re just overwhelmed by the decor. And one of the most exceptional service that I’ve ever seen in, with the promptness & the polite attitude. This place is surely to be in my top 10s for this magnificent city.

Special thanks to chef balwant he was amazing and loved his creation regarding the menu and agonoloti with ricotta and truffle with beurre Blanc was amazing. Seabass was cooked too perfect and salmon was perfect as well. Dish of the show was semi Fredo with berries and sorbets. Once again thanks to chef balwant for taking so much of care.

After a tiring day at work was looking for a laid back dinner, what better place than stax as I have been there earlier for a quick bite and as expected the food and service was at par with my expectations.
CHEF JO had come to the table to help me pick the best dish and thanks to her I had the most amazing BOLOGNAISE LASAGNA ever.
The service associate KARAN was very warm and attentive and made my evening comfortable.
At the end I had a tiramisu, no other place makes tiramisu as theirs.
To sum up stax always given me an experience that would make me come back for more
To start off with the team of staxx, amazing smiling, attentive to need of the customers .... Let me mention that I was not very confident of the kokum drink I was asked to try... But let me tell you sanket did a creative job of making this fresh cocktail.... A very creative manager who was not only with the team but also serving us with full enthusiasm... Will come back soon
We had visitor at our office so thought of taking him to Stax coz they had recently curated new menu. Service was top notch and quick, chef has done a great job in creating a new menu. The bartender was so sweet that he curated a mocktail on the spot based on my preference of fruit. I had duck and bacon for first time and it tasted amazing. Desserts here are to die for and don’t miss the tiramisu, baker herself comes and serves you the same on the table.

Had a lovely experience with my friends here. The food was excellent; from the Burrata as an appetizer to our mains (pastas, pizza) and a generous portion of Tiramisu, every dish we ordered was well balanced and delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the ambience was lovely. The restaurant has a classy and modern feel to it, the only thing that's missing is People - more people ought to visit, they are missing out!
A very classy Italian restaurant with a peaceful ambience. We went here with our 3 month old kid and she was quite fascinated by the ambience too:) we tried the duck ravioli and chicken milanese . Very tastefully prepared and garnished , it was indeed a treat for the taste buds. Loved the mushroom sauce in the ravioli and the way baked mozzarella blended with the chicken. Very courteous and professional staff. Worth visiting

For food that oozes romance, STAX is a fabulous place to take your better half. It is one of the best Italian restaurants I've personally been to & worth every dime.
From their pasta options, I fell head over heels in love with the ravioli dish, Tortellini All'Anatra (Tortellini with Duck). The ravioli dumplings are filled with duck meat while the dish is topped with wild mushroom ragout or sauce. Overall, it's an exotic dish with the duck meat being super tender to bite into & heavenly delicious.
Since it was my birthday, I got spoilt with champagne & cake by the staff making this an incredible birthday dinner to remember & cherish.
What started as an impromptu dinner, felt like a proper date thanks to the wonderful staff of Stax.. there was a long list of things to try, but we settled for Spaghetti with Crayfish, prawn and bisque alongwith Duck Tortellini with wild mushroom ragout!
Followed with a very generous portion of Tiramisu. I have to commend the chef for the wonderful spread. The seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the pasta was al dente! It’s definitely one of the restaurants I will visit again when I visit the city!

I visited this awesome place yesterday along with my son. We were warmly welcomed by Mr. Sanjeev Jaiswal who was very kind and made us comfortable. He explained in detail about this fantastic restaurant and instructed his team to look after us. The ambience is amazing. My son, Dwayne loved the artistic beauty of this place. I want to thank Omkar who is a very kind and sweet person, always smiling and he helped us choose the right dishes. The seafood soup was amazing and just out of this world. The Lamb and Prawn main course meals were really tasty and presentable. And yes, I have to mention the signature dish - the Tiramisu is something you should really tried out at this place. I have never tasted such amazing and yummy dessert anywhere else. Thank you very much team. You guys rock and need a bow. Hats off to you for such a splendid service. I look forward to visit this place again for the Christmas Brunch with my family.

A great place to visit if you're near airport and looking for drinks. Thanks to Mr Roshan for making our evening. Food is delicious and staff is very supportive.
I was fortunate enough to have stayed at the Hyatt Regency twice this year. 3 weeks in October and 2 weeks in July so I found myself at Stax on many nights. They have a large selection of beers, the food is amazing and the Ambience makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. However what really sets this place apart is the staff. The staff here go completely out of thier way for their patrons. Special mention for Roshan and Sarfraz. The bartenders are exceptional. On one night one of my colleagues was raving about some ridiculous, exotic drink she loves, the next day they had the supplies at the bar to make her drink. Talk about impressive. They never rush you out when its closing time. They encourage you to relax and finish your drink. I love this place. I recommend everyone come for dinner or drink. You will love it also.

Elegance and solitude define the mood here, both expected qualities in a fine dining restaurant. Vinay, our server, was remarkably amiable and efficient. We had a lovely Meta-E-Meta Pizza, in a surprisingly generous size of 12" with a crisp base. Followed that up with lamb rigatoni which was absolutely superb. This restaurant was chosen for dinner because of its proximity to the airport but I think I will be making the trek here from SoBo again. The rest of the menu looked very enticing!

I visited The BAR by myself this tuesday for a quick celebration of acquiring a job. Where i was greeted by Pankaj. An energetic individual. Who introduced me to the Oktober fest offers. Which were very cheap for the price of imported beers. I was unassisted by Chandan in The BAR for selection of beers. He was a great help as he had a good product knowledge. To speak about ambience it is a well lit bar with a combination of different colours. Bar is on the upper floor whereas the floor below is an ITALIAN Restaurant named STAX. I headed towards the restaurant to for the next part of my celebration PIZZA!! I met Vinay in the restaurant who got me seated on a table near a glass wall.. my seat had a view of fountains. And he helped me select a great pizza META-E-META which is a half n half of aragula pesto with prawns and squids other half has lamb ragout with lamb neat on the same and just to mention.. PIZZA was just amazing. Pizza was quite a big portion for one person so if you are planning to date your girlfriend for a pizza this is the right place. After i was was done there had to be a dessert. My favourite Italian dessert being Tiramisu i went for a portion of it. It was the best tiramisu i had so far. Texture, flavours, colour all were at its best. Seems like Chef Gauri plated this tiramisu with all her heart.. cuz her plating was not even a point lesser than the taste of tiramisu. During my meal restaurant supervisor. Ms. Alolika was constantly making sure i was comfortable. To wrap it up. A great place with outstanding ambience, amazing food and most importantly staff who really cares and makes sure you leave happy. It was a good celebration altogether.
Lovely Hidden Gem nestled in the Hyatt Regency Mumbai. If you want some authentic lovely Italian fare and are bored of the commercialised Italian at Romanos I reccomend this place. Healthy is an option here too!
I reccomend the lamb chops as well as the pastas that burst with flavour.

Very subtle ambience. So quiet and peaceful. I think that's the USP of a 5 star restaurant. We were for an official meeting. We ordered spaghetti and mushroom risotto. There was also one salmon dish which I cannot review as I am vegetarian. I also ordered apradh ice tea. Risotto was amazing. it balanced. It was light. Spaghetti was aglio olio which was mild and olive oil was good taste to tongue. One can surely try it. And those who ate salmon were also happy with its cooking style.
Soothing place, service upto the mark. Ambience was apt upto the mark.. Crazy Food, luvd it. Service was fast. Will be visiting this place soon.

It was a beautiful setting, had visited this place on a weekday for breakfast. Had opted for A la carte instead for Buffett. This service was excellent and quick. Enjoyed my food and time here. One of the highlight here was their Masala Tea (a must try if you love tea)
Yesterday i visited stax for dinner and had the best experience so far. The ambiance and the service is worth going especially we were assisted by chandan he suggested really good dessert to order and even served us another complimentary dessert tiramisu (fantastic to end ur meal). The slow music just makes ur mood right. The garlic bread tastes d best and the desserts are heaven♥️ while the veg pizza was just ok. Just a bit disappointed to notice the prices of bottled water to be such high. Overall a good experience and a must visit place.

One of the oldies, but as they say old is gold.
Stax is one place you have to visit if you like Italian food (like me). It’s pizza is easily in the top 3 in my list of best pizzas I have had in Mumbai.
The pasta is pretty good too. And the tiramisu is to really die for. I can easily rank it at par with what i have eaten in Florence.
Go and you will not get disappointed. Negative one for how they messed up gold discount.
Went at 9 in the evening and found the restaurant really good. We ordered vegtable pizza and the taste of pizza was really good. Good service and nice embience.
Been there a couple of times love the ambiance and food quality..!! Be it there New menus Berry risotto, or old menus spinach ravioli or even a basic salad or closing it all with a gelato or a tiramisu sums up to a complete package of delectable food.

Summery Sunday’s set against large windowpanes, and filling the room with
natural sunlight! Sounds perfect, just as was the delicious Italian meal prepared
at the Italian Food Festival at Stax, at Mumbai’s Hyatt Regency.
The event hailed the celebration of the Italian National day. I saw vivid streaks of
Italy in every aspect of the on-goings there, and got into the groove to celebrate.
The array boasted of a sumptuous variation. The dishes hailed from Tuscany in
Italy and were prepared in lieu of those who cherished a fine Italian meal, and
had a fine palate. I enjoyed my meal with a rather delicious wine that I sipped on
while I ate. I was smitten by the homemade pasta, prepared in an array of
authentically prepared sauces of your choice. The pesto was especially delicious.
It was just right, and the pungent garlic flavours didn’t smack you in the face
when I took to the very first bite.
I enjoyed the Risotto that Stax is well known for. It was perfectly creamy, and
cooked well. I cherished the flavour of the different cheese that was incorporated
in the dish.
I was simply transported to heaven with the delicious and most aptly prepared
bacon wrapped scallops. The meat in the slow cooked lamb was tender and
cooked to perfection.
I always like to end my meal on a sweet note. I simply enjoyed the Tiramisu. It
was fluffy and I could feel Italy melting in my mouth and smoothly running down
my throat.
All in all this was a very delicious meal indeed. I truly cherished every moment at
the restaurant. The stewards were quick on a heel, and ensured I was served
food promptly. The staff and support have been very courteous.
Have dined at this restaurant a couple of months ago. The ambience was excellent, the staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Now coming to the food, the pastas served were pretty amazing. Over looking the Al Dente pasta (as I prefer my pastas well done) I truly savored each morsel.
The dishes I tried were -
1. Insalata Dello Chef :
The salad was fresh, crunchy and refreshing. Was a great start to the meal we had
2. Ravioli Di Zucca :
The sage butter sauce was delicious and not too rich, just as per my liking
3. Lamb Rigatoni :
I actually liked the dish, though I am not a big fan of Lamb
4. Spaghetti in Pink Sauce : Was well cooked and I couldn’t get enough of it
5. Tiramisu :
One of the best Tiramisu cakes I have had in this city. It had this rich chocolate that just melted in your month. Would highly recommend this.
Had a great time at Stax - Staff is friendly and helpful in suggesting dishes, apart from finishing a full bottle of wine 🍷 we did enjoy the food out there, did have a variety of food but only thing I felt is the portions being little on the smaller side but apart from that the Taste was amazing. Ambience is amazing along with a light music it just adds up to create the right mood. Must visit place.

So we visited stax at hyatt regency yesterday..we spotted it on the list of zomato gold restaurants and wanted to try the food..the ambience, service and the food everything is great...also overall i felt like they really put in effort by doing little things that made our meal a little healthy...for example with their breads they did not serve butter but Sundried tomato dip which is anyday better than butter and we ended up saving some calories also their dessert is mind blowing without being too sweet because they did not add any additional sugar to it and just kept the basic chocolate flavour which again i loved...rare to find places where the dessert tastes amazing and is not too sweet either ...akshay was taking care of our table...anyways so heres what we tried and our rating for each dish -
1.) Lasagna alle verdure (4/5) - Delicious and classic you can never go wrong with this.
2.) Mille fille mousse di avocado funghi trio (5/5)
This is a masterpiece our favourite dish overall...loved the creamy avocado with mushrooms and the filo pastry was nice too.
3.) Sundried tomato dip with in-house bread (5/5)
They serve this with your meal their Sundried tomato dip is just too good, dont miss out.
4.) Chicken milanese with parmesan crust & truffle oil (5/5) - Loved this one the most...chef rajiv das was very kind and humble to us, and customized this excellent dish as per our liking we loved it.
5.) Chocolate & Rum Lava Cake (5/5)
Wow what can i say, this is served with orange ice cream..we loved it as I mentioned before no added sugar made this perfect for our taste and liking.
6.) Semi Berry Froddo (4/5)
Another dessert that we tried...we liked this a lot, they just need to work on the base of this dessert, its a little hard rest everything was perfect.

Excellent Ambience majorly Clear & Colored Glass used with 2 Level’s, one with Bar upstairs where kids are not allowed & lower level with open Kitchen concept gives the place a wonderful look
Being Vegetarian we started with Caprese & Bruschetta for Antipasti & opted for Tortelli Di Ricotta E Spinaci Pasta Margherita & Ortolana Pizza & Risotto Agli Asparagi E Burrata
The food was fantastic & great service makes this place for special occasions
As a gesture knowing we were there to celebrate my wife’s birthday our Server Chandan did offer us to try the Tiramisu which was a wonderful

5 stars for the buffet ! Of late the variety on offer has decreased but the original buffet they had was to die for. The chefs are extremely gracious and ever willing to cook live if you want something special. The service is flawless. My brother and I have had some awesome times at the buffet here much to the embarrassment of our parents ! I highly recommend the crepe with berry compote and basically the entire dessert counter !
Wow! That is the sound that escapes you when you walk down the small bridge connecting Stax with the rest of the hotel. Ambience is awe inspiring. This is the place to go if you are in the mood for a quiet dinner. Food has always been good.This time we ordered a caprese and a chicken pizza which were both delicious. One thing you must never miss here is the Tiramisu.It is excellent.
Had been for a family dinner. Table was booked and confirmed in no time. We were attended by Chandan Tiwari, and he ensured all requirements were met with a smile. On duty Chef Basant too met us twice to get clarity on the kind of food we expect. Decent choice for vegetarian in the menu. Service is excellent, ambience and food is decent. The team did their best to ensure a good experience.

What a fantastic staff, amazing service and delicious food. I had the seared scallops as an appetizer and the Ravioli type pasta with Ricotta and pine nuts. Exquisite cuisine and world class service, especially from Jokina, beautiful and super sweet. Definitely will return here on my next trip to this beautiful city ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Simply Amazing.Am so glad we chose Stax to spend our Valentine's Evening. It was just perfect..the live music was mesmerizing ..the food fabulous. I can't stop at fabulous...the food was extraordinary...we relished every bite...and good portion size.Pankaj was so efficient. Enjoyed my special evening . Looking forward to many more such evenings.

Stax at Hyatt Regency has an amazing oozing ambiance. The entrance is royal, the lighting designs are to the perfection. With a huge space to accommodate 50-70 people. They also have STAX bar differently above the STAX restaurant. This place is famous for its Italian cuisine. The concept is inspired from Lombard cuisine. This restaurant offers you a never experienced Italian sort flavors.
Surrounded by other famous restaurants STAX stands out to be the best.
Service is bit disappointing, short of staff & also had to wait very long for food even though the guests were less.

> ANTIPASTI (Appetizers)
1) BURRATA, OLIVE, CARCIOFI

This dish was something new for me, the main ingredient was Burrata cheese, Burrata is a fresh Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream. It aslo had roasted artichoke, Cailletier(type of olive) & cherry tomatoes to garnish the same. The Burrata cheese was something new for me. They also had a spicy sauce on the dish.
2) PERE, CAPRINO, NOCI

The main stuff of this dish was the Goat cheese, it also had poached pear dipped in red wine & walnut pesto. Goat cheese is generally salty but i felt the combination of walnut pesto and goat cheese was not a good idea, it was sour in taste. The poached pear tasted good.
> ZUPPE (Soup)
1) MINESTORNE DI VERDURE

A true Italian soup this was. Minestrone is a soup of Italian origin made with various vegetables also in addition it had pasta. They had onions, carrots, & tomatoes. One of the best every tried soup. Spicy and perfect combination with vegetables.

This is actually a Non veg dish which was prepared Veg on our request to the chef.
They have their own self-made spaghetti pastas. The spaghetti was perfectly blended with delicious sauces and also had few vegetables.

This was the simple risotto, with asparagus & burrata. The rice were not properly cooked. It had a very mid way taste, neither spicy nor plain.

The only cocktail we tried, flavor was bit over powered, which took over the taste of whisky. It had a star shaped chocolate on top to garnish. This one can be improved.

Had a taste of mango bite. It was served in a fancy glass. Sweet in taste. Had a dried orange slice on top to garnish.
3) GUAVA MARY

This one was drink of the night. The name and type is common, but the blending matters. They had perfectly blended the guava and spice. Taste was amazing.

One of the best variety of Panna Cotta ever tried. Sweetened to the perfection, the thickness was also proper. This was marinated in Strawberry.
2) SELEZIONE DI SORBETTI FATTI IN CASA
Food Epicurean rating: 4
Strawberry flavored sorbet, had a chocolate stick on top to garnish. Taste was good. Similar to the regular sorbet. It can be improved.
