In the heart of Vile parle is this cute little tea lounge which I absolutely look forward to going because it has less chaos as compared to any other cafe type situation. The crowd coming here is majorly people who are up for corporate meetings or are here to have a high tea sort of experience.
Their adrak chai and khakra is the go to if you are feeling just TEA. I personally prefer the bun maska that they prepare the irani cafe way.
The sandwiches and croissants and puffs are great too. If not a tea lover you can opt for mojitos or any iced teas.
I would urge you to visit this place during rains because through the window glass you see the roads of vile parle drenched and if you belong to this place you can surely feel the vibe. It is beautiful
It is a good place to visit if u are a chai lover. This is a good place to chill out with friends or do formal meet up. They serve some snack items too.do visit
This tea lounge is one of the best places have seen to meetup with your friends and family too other than those costly cafes . I don't know why this is underrated as 3.7 it should be 4 because ambience, staff and food is on the mark with pocket friendly prices. Loved the atmosphere.
Thank-you for the good food and service.

Wagh Bakri Tea Lounge
Chilled and friendly environment. Perfect place to sit, work and chill. Tried their tea cake and chocochip cake. Both were delicious. Had a great time. 5star for staff.
Great place to have a cup of tea! The ambience is good and the service is great too. The place has a wide variety of tea to choose from. The food is great too.
The outlet is located at vile parle east, opposite to parleshwar temple at 2 minutes walking distance from vile parle Station. This outlet is famous for its tea and snacks. They serve a huge variety of tea with amazing flavours from different states. One can get every type of chai over here. They also serve delicious snacks such as puffs, bun, dhokla, samosa and what not. We ordered paneer puff & paneer croissant.
Amazing place & amazing service.
#mint tea - a must try for tea lovers!
Value for money.. great hangout arena for tea lovers and those tired of ccd ..
Nice and healthy food 👌, tried sandwiches ,both sandwiches was good , if you are health freak try multi grain sandwich . Well behaved and helpful staff
One of the best places in town to have ghar jaisi chai.
Excellent service and decent variety of snacks to compliment a cup of tea. They have extensive variety of teas but their adrak chai / masala chai are too good, made to perfection. A must try.
This place serves refreshing tea coupled with snacks like samosa, dhokla and sandwiches. The place is not very well maintained if one compares it to the time when it was launched first time in Mumbai.
We ordered paneet Tikka sandwich (Toasted bread with soft roasted paneer pieces, topped with tangy sauce and mayonnaise), samosa chat and tea.
I feel there should be more items in the menu in order to maintain repeat customer.

If you are chai lover this is the place to be! A cafe near Parleshwar Mandir, the place is home to various kinds of teas and snacks! A must for tea lovers
This place is located in Mumbai near Ville Parle station, opposite to Jain Mandir. At first I thought this place is a tea store where they just sell different types of tea. One my friend invited me here for tea and when I got to know that it’s just not a tea store and it is a tea lounge. From that first visit till today, it’s been over half a decade and I find myself visiting this place over and over again, with a minimum count of twice a week. This tea lounge is quite old and you will get a lot of tea variants and Gujrati type of snacks. If you order any hot tea, that means there will be two cups of tea in a pot along with two khakras. Also you can tell them if you need strong or light flavours in the tea. They also have Gujrati type of snacks such as khandvi, dhokla. Other snacks such as kothimbir wadi and various types of sandwiches & muffins.
Adrak Strong Tea: Adrak and tea flavour blended together perfectly! That stronger adrak works for me, half of the satisfaction I get just by its essence before the first sip.
Bun Maska: When you visit any tea place, this dish is a mandatory one to order. These guys serve this dish with two buns cut in quarter pieces. The quantity is enough as an evening snack.
Kothimbir Wadi: Most people think that kothimbir wadi comes in bigger size version but here it's an exception. You will get 10-12 small pieces which are easy and quick to eat. This dish can also be shared within 2-3 people if they are not much hungry and want something to munch on. It tastes average and it has more of that Gujarati style cooking essence.
Italian sandwich: I have tried a lot of Italian sandwiches earlier but this one is my favorite. In the first bite you will have mild sweet taste and by the time you finish your bite it will turn out to be medium spice. Specially with tomato ketchup it tastes super yummy.
Ice Tea: I tried Lemon-Mint and Guava flavors and just loved both of them.

Overall, I can suggest this place which is good for tea lovers, business meets.
If you are a Chai lover then this is the right place for you to explore. Being a coffee person I always prefer to go to coffee lounge but the friend who took me there, he insists to go because he liked it and he is a kind of frequent over there. I have heard about their ginger tea so orderd that with bun maska and kotambir wadi... Tea and food was good.. Service it a bit slow but anyhow we had a lot of time in hand and preferred to spend time here instead of roaming around in hot afternoon. It's a place where you can hangout with your group for a long time and they won't ask you to leave the lounge even after you are done.. Nice ambience and value for money..
One of the best place to relax with a cup of tea and I request them to add the jain menu so that people can have more food ;-) and staff are also very supportive
Place is heaven for tea lovers, other wise also one must visit for their bun maska and paneer sandwich. I visit this place quite frequently. Once a staff was bit rude but it's OK
Very good place in vile parle east.. tea lovers can enjoy variety of tea.. adrak (ginger) tea is what I liked the most.. ambience is good.. value for money..
Amazing Cardamom Tea and Khari! Really made my morning with old friends (school mates) really wonderful...we had rounds of tea without counting!!! Everytime the taste was constant...and equally inviting...really appreciate
I loved the nasala chai here.
It’s a must try if you are a chai lover. Also the kothimbir wadi was good. The chocolate chip cookies were nice and yummy.
In other outlets you get fries. Was disappointed on not seeing fries in the menu.
Tea was perfect. Its not that expensive. They had different varieties of snacks too. Perfect for tea lovers. Do visit when you have to work for 2 hours in a peaceful ambience

A perfect place for tea lovers , this place comes with varities of tea served with khakhra. If you need a refreshment then surely visit this place.
Ambience is nice and cozy, it is always a question in mind that can a cafe be for only tea lovers , yes is the answer and now a days there are lot many cafe for specially tea lovers.
Well the cafe is small in Vile Parle and service here is quick , staff has a dress code and are well trained.
I just had a cup of tea as had gone for a meeting and had a Magic masala tea which was a combination of adrak elaichi , taste was nice and was served with a khakhra.

A lovely place for tea time conversations. The bun maska is a must try. It’s a small place but the ambience is very nice. The varieties of tea are good and iced tea options are again a must try. Loved the way they serve tea in colorful kettles. Do try this place

Zomato gold successful. Use my code "SANCHIP" and get a month free for both you and me (:
Frankly I went here as it was near my work place and a gold partner and I was expecting a small place with 2 3 tables but it's surprising big. You should have seen my friends face when I told her I want to try this place as the name is a little weird, anyway we ended up having a lot of fun.
What we had-
∆ Paneer pizza 3/5- We got half a pizza first as the other half was getting cooked which was a little weird but we ended up getting 8 prices so I'll count that a win. The pizza was decent with soft base and decent topping.
∆ Junglee Panini 4/5- I was always fascinated by Panini and finally got to have it here. It was a little on spicy and very messy to eat but it's definitely worth it.
Ambiance is average, there is this wall clock made of teacups which was really adding up to the decor, Service is quick, food is cheap, crowd is decent. This is a good alternative if you are bored of places like CCD and I am definitely coming back.
I definitely recommend Wagh Bakri Tea Lounge.
Great place for evening tea and snacks. Very cosy and calm. However the option of one plus one is not available on the Tea selections. The muffins and sandwiches are great.
Chai with a side of Khakra! 💜 The chai was very good. It gave a very homely feeling with Khakra on the side.

Their hot masala chai is to die for! Order without having any second thoughts. 4 stars cos those untidy interiors. And complete 5 stars for the chaiiiiii
Fabulous place , Just bang next to Signal , easy for parking . Amazing staff , Lots of space , Generally crowded in the Evenings , Recommended for IceTeas . Totally value for money in this race of cafes and bistro .
A great hangout place for friends 🎀 The teas and snacks stole my heart. Interior of the place is very pleasing. A must must for all the tea lovers 💗
Love the Masala Chai but the Browny wasn't good. They offer pot of chai. Very nice to visit on a rainy day and sit here with your friends or colleagues or hold appointments and have tea with snacks. Highly recommend and one can buy their favourite tea too.
Nice place to hang out. If you are a tea lover you should visit this place. We ordered pudina tea and adrak tea. It was a super idea to visit Wagh Bakri!
It was around 10ish that I decided to call my friend for a chitty chatty session and we decided in to this place since it is very lose to my house. I am a huge fan of masala chai so was sure about my order. I ordered masala chai along with bun maska ❤️. It came in a beautiful kettle. The chai was as good as I had thought it to be. If you love masala chai then I would suggest this place. Unfortunately the pic that I had clicked of the beautiful kettle got deleted. May be on my next visit I click one and post it.
Great place to have a corporate meeting or a casual hangout with your friends.
Serves great varities of tea and is a paradise for Tea lovers. Also it has a great munching options like kachori, khari toast etc.
Ambience is quiet good. Half of the times when I visit there, they don’t have all the munching options listed in the menu since they are over. :(
However, a good place to hangout & tea lovers must try this atleast once!! 🤘🏻
A perfect place for tea lovers and to hang out with friends..they have various types of tea and multiple munching options along with tea..and they also heat up up the tea incase you wish to do so after sometime..A good nice decent place in parle east
been here a lot of times .. a perfect place for tea lover's .... if you want to have NO FUSS TEA .. this is the place .. they have good traditional options of tea.. served in a tea pot which is sufficient for two full cups of tea... usually served with a small khakra or a cookie.
best among them is adrak wali chai and masala tea ..
you can team it up with khari biscuits or bun maska .. they do have few combos to offer as well ..
overall a good place for a quick meeting or for an evening tea.

A GREAT PLACE. A typical tea lounge. Great concept. Great staff. Great ambience. Above all best thing is the tea. I’m a ardent fan of tea thus this place immediately became one of my favourites. Impressive varieties of tea.
Quotes n Facts on the walls are well selected.
The time piece n the lamp is also themed around tea.
They offer discounts after 7 pm.
Wagh Bakri tea lounge has been for a quite a long time, the place is perfect for small meetings, snack corner, or just to have a good cup of tea. Other tea cafes around the area are damn expensive and I find this place very reasonable. The place is nice and cozy, I liked the colors of the kettle in which they serve tea. Fairly good snack options available. The cheese and mushroom sandwich and ginger tea were good. It's a place you can visit time and again.
All I can say is keep the good work and cheers. Tea is life. :)
For such more amazing post and updates follow me on Instagram(@bigfoodieguy) and Zomato.
Happy fooding and don't forget to spread the joy with your loved ones :)
The place seems good if you are meeting someone for some official work or even if you want to hang out with friends for long. They serve decent number of options for snacking & obviously you will want to order tea being at a tea lounge. But my personal take on tea isn't very positive, hou get a pot that serves two people for 100 bucks, since I didn't like the tea that much I didn't find it worth the money. The snacks seemed good so you may go for them, also they have stacked various varieties of tea so if you happen to be a tea lover you can pick up something from there !!
This is my family's favourite place for a goood evening with hot masala tea. A small and a cosy place. Reasonably priced menu. Wide range of varieties for beverages, both hot and cold. Their wagh Bakri masala tea and black currant iced tea are my favs. Good and tasty snack spread also. 😁
Right across tea villa cafe is this quite tea lounge. It has a good sophisticated look. As soon as you enter, you can smell fresh brewing tea. I ordered the masala tea which was served in a cute tea pot. It serves two cups. The flavor was just perfect. I also tried their paneer puff, which was okay. Overall, a quiet place for having a good conversation and tea.
Good tea.. variety they have.. again there is problem of parking especially on weekends.. good pocket friendly place.. I'll definitely like to go again..
We had a lovely lemon grass flavoured tea and bun maska. The tea is something I recommend to get refreshed. The ambience is nice and cosy. Value for money.
Being a start up is never easy.. we have a new office everyday !
And a piping hot cup of afternoon tea is a mandate ! This place in Parle East is best for long work hours where they do not disturb their regular customers at all and let them work for hours at a stretch.. there is nothing fancy about this place but still it's so warm and cozy.. they serve Gujju food like khandvi, dhokla, khakhra and also Maharashtrian food like kothimbir vadi to make your tea break happening..in the pic there is the magic masala tea and the mobile khakhra that comes along with it, Italian Sandwich and Corn, Spinach Panini.. I strongly recommend visiting this humble place for your business meetings, temporary work station and to have a great time chatting with a friend.. 😇
Out for a mandir visit on a Saturday morning?
Casual meet up with an old friend?
Wanna sit down and relax after a long shopping spree.
Whatever may be the reason come visit Wagh Bakri Tea Lounge for a quick escape from the humid Mumbai weather.
Located right next to the Lakshmi mandir.
This tea lounge happens to be a very apt spot for a quick bite of you favorite Gujarati snack and a variety of tea options to choose from.
We tried Cocktail Samosa, they serve four pieces in a plate, small in size with crushed peas stuffing.
Along with the killer samosas we also ordered Italian sandwiches , I would personally recommend them if you are looking for some quick bite which will be filling as well. So that you can resume your shopping spree.
For tea we had ordered for classic Wagh Bakri tea and a pot of adrak chai.
Since childhood Wagh Bakri Tea has been a popular brand , owing to it's high reach tv commercials.
So this place is a favorite amongst people of all age groups .
Wagh bakri chai is truly amazing.
Come visit soon.
The staff here is very courteous and friendly.
Wagh Bakri a amazing place for breakfast as well as after dinner Scenes the tea is pretty aromatic and amazing so are the snacks I had a cardamom tea and they give a piece of khakhra something with tea as a nice combination.
I Love the teapots they have and the decor is also pretty good overall this is a nice place for tea ...... *Chai lovers
I am not a tea fan as I have never had tea. Since childhood I prefer having milk or coffee. Last week I happened to visit this place with a friend who is just so opposite of me.. She loves tea and hence we decided to head here. I tried on the Tea Companions..Fruit Bun, Cookies and Muffin which were good to go for me.

A very nice and decent place to chit chat with family and friends especially if they are tea lovers... The masala tea is very refreshing served with Khakhra they also have a decent variety of snacks... but the only drawback this place have is that if you go late the snacks they serve gets over and then you dnt get anything except muffins n cookies... They should work on this otherwise the place is very good
Authentic chai with a variety of options. Great place for tea lovers! Need to try chai with ice cream though. Good ambience with helpful staff. :)
This place really does not needs any review , best chai ever . Just could add up more snacks , the chai is fabulous and staff is also very polite and efficient
With an cosy seating arrangement and also overlooking outside hustle and bustle. As of the brand goes , had the Wagh Bakri Masala Tea. No doubt it's good , but the price was not worth it! The crockery and specially the kettle is handly crafted (seems though) . Service is slow and yeah can be better . The staff is not well aware about the menu. If you are fond of the Indian Masala tea , this is the tea cafe you might love.
One of the Best Place for a TEA LOVER.
There are many varieties of TEA served.
So we had ordered :
Apple Ice Tea was Good but almost tasted like an APPY FIZZ, Moroccan Mint Tea was Good & Tea with Vanilla Ice Cream was just AWESOME (must try).
HALF OF THE THINGS MENTION IN THE MENU WAS UNAVAILABLE
AMBIANCE: 3/5
Tea: 3.5/5
HYGENIC: 3/5
PRICE: 3.5/5
SERVICE: 2.5/5
I stay on same road. I use to love this place and go here since the time it started here.. But it has compelled me to write a review as the service instead of going up is simply going in pits and mind you not by the staff but by shitty policies the management makes. Their new n unique policy is they won't give an extra set of cup if there are 3 people coming there. In this web connected world Whr ppl offer free WiFi not only in restaurants but now also at railway station, these ppl forget WiFi but do not allow to even charge your gadgets and the heights is with this new policy they don't give extra cup.. Really!! Even their own staff doesn't like this policy.. The ops manager Parag is even more pathetic than the policy
And trust me this use to be my favorite place.. But to be honest there are much better places in the same area.. AVOID THIS PLACE...
Disappointed loyal customer!!
If you are a tea lover and looking for place equivalent to outlets like CCD/Starbucks which serve Tea then, this is the place. Personally Tea is always enjoyed if it is made in the 'desi' style and not the ones which serve it with tea bags, hot water & milk. WBTL gives you this option and serves...

The place is great. The staff is very helpful(service). You will willfully tip them. The energy is wonderful. Mainly that tea was very tasty. All the options for eating are great. A quiet place. It's spacious. There is space between tables. There are Indian options for eating. Overall creative place. Great ideas can be worked on here. Value for money place. Friendly environment. First tea place in Vile Parle. A great option for all typical coffee shops. TV for entertainment. Great place for professional meetings, friendly meetings or alone time. Visit once and decide for yourself.
My favourite place so far... for Chai!
Small place and first of all very well arranged.
Tea options here are not in a wide range..but worth having each one of it... i tried them all!
Must try:
Waghbakri spl. Tea (serves two)
Brun maska
Kothimbir vadi
Overall experience is pocket friendly & tasteful!
It's nice place to have tea , but B/F is ok , bun muska is not up to mark , khari is nice , tea and seating arrangement is superb 😂😂😂 WC back
Great experience! I would like to visit soon again. The tea and the biscuits gave a homely feel. They need to open up at new locations like Borivali and Andheri.
Sunday mornings are the best to hang around with a few school friends and sip from a cup of cold coffee or cold tea.
Wagh Bakri is fairly innovative. It's definitely among the better outlets that have opened in the recent months.
Service here is rather lethargic. They need to get used to the fast pace that this city always had. Hospitality industry has zero tolerance for slow service forget bad service.
We tried quite a few teas here
Black Currant Iced Tea - not certain if this is the best Black Currant Iced Tea I've had but it was definitely one of the best.
Litchi Iced Tea - not bad at all. Litchi is more of a flavour that goes well with SMIRNOFF BLACK {Europe Edition}. Had they added 60ml of SMIRNOFF to this tea, it would be magic. Of course this is not an outlet that serves alcohol.
Blue Iced Tea - tea with a hint of Blue Curacao. Very delightful. Blue Curacao and Electric Blue are some of my all time favourite mixes along with Triple Sec. Loved it.
Try their Khus Tea and Moroccoan Mint Tea if you prefer exotic hot teas. They have an average snacks section too.
Most of the teas are priced at 100 to 150 bucks for 300ml which is fairly good. Honest pricing.
Highly recommended!
This place was one of the first tea lounges in the city. As the name suggests, the speciality is the tea, which is pretty reasonably priced with above average quality and quantity that's enough for two people. The snacks are only vegetarian but are fine in quality although a bit over priced. Service is polite but can get inattentive and clumsy at times.
This is a nice place to meet friends over tea. You can also purchase a variety of tea leaves from the same brand. The café is clean, and the prices are reasonable, neither too low nor unaffordable. They serve tea in pots and accompany it with masala khakra. In summary, it offers a pleasant experience overall.
Exotic teas are very good and economical
Similar to normal tea rates but complete different taste
Quality and quantity of chai was really good. Served with khakra. Service is kinda slow they don't serve water unless and until asked nor clean the table. Prices on higher end
A beautiful tea place, it's small and cosy and not like the run of the fare, over the top places. The tea is freshly made and is delicious. Food offered however, is the sole point that needs improvement as it is not freshly prepared but that is the trend, I believe with all chai/coffee joints

Perfect combinations of tea , polite staff , location is too perfect right on the main corner opposite side of parleshwar temple. Tulsi tea is must try. Masala tea is also nice. Clean toilet is the Plus point of this lounge. Served tea with 1 piece of khakra.

I don't drink tea, but I visited many times with friends, and I love the atmosphere and kind of vibe I get. The arrangement is good. You should try once 👍

They offer Tea in pot an sever a masala waffer along with it. They open at 0800hrs in Morning do not have wheel chair acess
The palace is like having great ambience .
I love the chai with kharis n rusk .
We can also purchase tea powder . Great place for discussion over tea.

Wagh Bakri Tea Lounge located in Vile Parle East, Just Opp. Parmeshwar Mandir. Good tea options along with snacks. Newly introduced tea with ice cream and hazelnut Oreo smoothly are awesome. Value for money and good ambiance. Few people using a laptop while enjoying tea and snacks. Some of them discussing business deals.
Have some very light snacks along with drinking tea, there is an option to order tea here. Coffee and green tea is also available. Sandwich Jain is not available but Khandvi, Khakhra and Tea Cake can be eaten.
