I tried the aloo pyaaz paratha.. flavour was simple but too good..topped with loads of butter/ghee..
The mirch tamatar paratha i liked the best.. different flavour but very good..
Lassi also is good.. best part is jaggery is used instead of sugar.. however nice thick and heavy..

This is one of the hidden gems of Carter road. It's plain amazing Paratha. I remember the first time I had spinach corn cheese paratha there, the owner himself was making it, and he was so energetic, it was visible that he was enjoying what he was doing.
The next time I went there, the small stall was replaced by a small shop where two young people were making parathas, the owner was not there. But paratha tasted more or less the same. Too yummy.
Jeera rice rajma, Daal Balti and Tandoori butter roti ordered from zomato were delivered to us in less than 30 minutes.

We ordered Aloo pyaaz and Methi pyaaz parrontthe and jaggery milk lassi. The parathas were cooked nicely with mustard oil, stuffing was great and fresh. It was full of spice and flavours, hot paratha with matka dahi was awesome. I wanted to try their chicken seekh paratha but its was over. Price is bit on the higher side but taste of the parathas makes it worth every penny. Would love to visit again.

A quaint little place located at Carter Road, Lassi Te Parrontthe serves some great comfort food like Rajma Chawal, Lassi, Parathas, etc.
We tried their Sindhi Koki which is a traditional flaky flatbread made from whole wheat flour, dough blended with onions and spices. The Koki looked beautiful and had an amazing texture. It was served alongwith Dahi and mango and chilli pickle. It was hot and crispy and made for a perfect meal.
Service is self service. (Though this place is always overcrowded and receiving your order may take time.)

The parathas are so crispy. Ordered gobhi matar parantha and corn capsicum&cheese parantha. Both the paranthas were really good . Gobhi parantha was little spicy but really good.

I've been eating food at Carter road for years. I can say hands down the parathas I have eaten here are the best thing to eat on Carter road right now. All the other places serve boring fast food / junk food for a quick buck. This is the one truly authentic street food experience you are going to have on Carter road. I would rate it one of the best street food joints in Bandra as well.
The owner knows every dish in and out and helps you through the menu. A good friendly lad who makes mouth watering parathe. There's no place to sit but once you start eating you forget about it, it's that good!

Tried their Lola Parrontthe ...it was awesome...a blend of ghee, sugar and atta (whole wheat flour) without using any water... Do try their mint chaas..all other paranthe were over....so was not able to try anything else.

This is a pure place for having amazing parathas.
Located at a prime location at Carter road this place always pulls in great crowd.
Serving authentic Punjabi parathas, rajma chawal and lassi this place is sneakingly located having huge place to stand and eat.
Taste of parathas are very good and add ons are the dahi and pickle which adds to the taste in much better way.
Be ready to have good strength in your legs to stand and eat as this place has no sitting arrangment.
Finally the prices are on a higher side as compaeed to the quality and size of parathas.
Approx probs of 1 paratha is bombing 180 approx.
Lassi is definately good but ask before ordering whether it is chilled or room temperature, as we got a room temperature lassi which killed it's taste.

Best place to have parathas are here. The guy who owns this place also the cook is so humble and nice. Although there is a waiting time for his Parantha or may be on week end it is so crowded but the tasty crispy aloo Parantha are meant to be here. When you are walking on the Carter road and feel a hunger of something north indian then this the place. So just Loved it.

Though, I found this on quite an expensive side, the parrontthe here are actually quite good and filling.
We had the classic aloo parrontthe. And he cooked it for a good 15-20 minutes and served it with achaar, chutney and dahi.
It's not a big place with stools and tables, so you gotta stand. But then again, we're all over borderline foodies, who would be willing to do anything for a try for taste!

They have some amazing parathas to eat a small place where the parathas are home cooked from the nostalgic aloo paratha too mutton seekh paratha. All the Sindhis in house would not miss the Lolo or koki

One of the few names that come to my mind when I think of good Paranthas.
A small outlet at Carter Road, hard to miss with all the people crowded around the place!
I love their Gobhi and Methi paranthas, the entire experience of seeing your parantha being cooked on a tawa right in front of your eyes, the aroma, and the crispy-crunchy texture of the parantha is total a thumbs up! (I think they use mustard oil for grilling the paranthas, which is a clear winner). Their chilli pickle on the side adds that extra punch, and add some lassi for a thoroughly satisfying meal.
This place is a little hard to find bcoz its small and always over crowded. (Hint - Its next to The J)
Coming to the food options.
Wide variety of Paraths both veg n Non veg whuch are deliciously amazing. Served with 2 different types of pickles n curd. The most perfect of the combinations.
Must try is their Lassi n Chaas.
Note - Go early in the evening to select from all the Paratha options before they run out of options.

Thanks Nikhil for running small yet a lovely place. Parathas which have either mustard oil or desi ghee. Nikhil claims to not use any oils, also his jaggery lassi is worth trying. The earthen pot is a fantastic idea to serve lassi and dahi. He uses leaf to serve parathas which is again a eco friendly initiative. Wish he had a chair or two for us to sit and enjoy the food.

We ordered garlic paratha and paneer green paratha. Both were extremely tasty. Garlic was spicy. Would give 4.5/5 for taste n quality. Otherwise it's a tapri where you have to eat standing on the road or sitting on parked bikes. Good for paratha lovers.
Great parathans. Have tried there methi , aloo pyaz , mooli mint and chili cheese parantha. All are yumm. Specially the kulhad dahi they serve is fresh and tasty

We had paranthas here during a stopover at a friends and loved it to bits.
The paranthas are value for money. Crisp and piping hot. They serve with 2 pickles, one green chilli, and the other being our patented mango pickle. And the secret success add-on is the dahi. They set the curd in small earthen khullads, cold, thick and creamy, goes so so so well with the fingertip burning paranthas.
We ordered the gobi and paneer veggie paranthas. We drooled over each bite.

Their parrontthe are really full of butter which makes it crisp and the stuffing inside are well combination of flavours. We had a Aloo Ka Parrontha with Jaggery lassi served in Kulad. The food is served quick and really hot. A must try once. But only thing I really don’t like are the kids who are selling some Books & tissues keep coming asking for food 🥘 I did got few of the kids Food but to My surprise they wanted Money than food. And I had a lot of them asking Money so couldn’t try more until next time.

My personal favourites are the Aloo Onion Paratha & the Mooli ka paratha..
They smother their parathas with desi ghee & accompany it with a michi ka aachar & a mango pickle.. You can ask for Dahi as well which they serve in a mini clay pot (wati)..
The parathas are always made with a sufficient stuffing & crisp outer covering..
After Elco I hopped into this outlet.... and tried for alu-pyaz parantha .... was nice and crispy wiht loads of butter , aachar & curd.....tasted really great only thing is the size was small although was quiet thick (as here instead of stuffing the ingredients in one chapati, they just make 2 separate chapatis and spread the stuffing in between).
Lassi Te Parrontthe, is a tiny eatery located at the very bustling Carter Road, Bandra. Unfortunately it simply is a stall with no seating available which makes it a little difficult to eat the steaming hot, ghee-laden Parathas they are known for.
In addition to the usual aloo pyaz and paneer varieties they also offer chicken sheekh and mutton sheekh Parathas. Decided to try the chicken Seekh one and although the paratha isn't large, it is definitely well stuffed with a tasty filling. I would however stick to the vegetarian varieties they have on offer, those are even better!
For Rs: 190 this is definitely one of the cheaper food options down that road and a decent one!

One of my favorite places in the city to order parathas from. The chilly cheese paratha and the pyaaz Tamatar paratha are to die for. Cooked in pure ghee, the parathas are served with pickle and curd and that makes them a lot more tasty. A good place to pick if you want to have a meal under 500 bucks
A small but famous food joint at the Carter road of mumbai. It serves various delactable Parathas (Stuffed Indian Bread) beautifully presented. Parathas are served with Curd,Pickle and some fired green chillies. One plate of paratha is enough to get your tummy fully filled up because it is too thick. I tried it for the first time and became a fan of their parathas.

I would have called it a hidden gem, but it's right there on the busy lanes of Carter Road for everyone to enjoy. It started as a mini stall and has gone on to become one of the most cherished Carter Road outlets.
Pipin hot paranthas, served with butter and love. The place has evolved over the years, but the food quality has remained top notch. The lassi here is lip-smacking, Punjab ki yaad aa gayi, type lassi. They also serve pretty bas-ass Momos.
But obviously, it's the paranthas that steal heart. They usually run out of paranthas extremely quickly and one just has to settle for whatever is available. But don't be disappointed, everything they serve is delicious. I've tried a lot of their veg lot (they run out of chicken and mutton paranthas way too quickly), and I cannot decide my favorite because each tastes so frigging delicious.
They are heavy, like paranthas should be. Served with ghee and achaar in a biodegradable plate, the place is all things good about Desi food.
Shout-out to the Man behind the counter tossing paratha with love and pride. He's the real gem, truly.

This food joint has the best list of paranthas. The menu is small but the paranthas are a big surprise. I ordered chicken seekh parantha, it had that proper punjabi touch which blew me. I love their way of serving on a small leaf plate with the chutney . Total worth of a try!

Very happy that I visited this place. The aloo paratha was damn nice. Rajma chawal could be better but I guess not everyone gets it right. Overall a decent experience and value for money kinds of place.
Our random mood swings include eating something different and this time it was something Indian made by a foreigner. Probably the coolest chef you'll find on Carter Road.
We went here twice. Once we had the cheese chilly one because chicken was out of stock. Just imagine the demand they have. While both of them were just so filling, we obviously loved the chicken one more. Though you get sweet thick dahi with the cheese chilly, chicken has no competition.
Huge chunks of spicy marinated chicken is sure to get into your mouth with every bite. We'd not recommend you to try anything else because these two are the best selling ones. Perfect for the winter weather or if you're really hungry.
What to say about this small but tastiest food joint. The parathaas here are LOVE! You can’t control your self if you will have even a small bite of any of their paratha. I usually order mushroom cheese paratha and the chilly cheese one. But I am sure let it be any parathaa it tastes HEAVEN! Also they serve lassi and rajma which is again a good option for a complete meal. The only thing I do not like about this place is that you need to stand and eat all your stuff. There must be atleast a small seating arrangement so that you can enjoy the food with ease to your legs and hips!

This place is situated at Carter road. It's just a normal stall which serves this authentic parothas with a variety of chutneys. I had mushroom cheese and chicken parotha, the mushroom parotha was amazing. You will get all the flavours of the chutney they had added to that it's was awesome. The best part is they had a lot of stuffing in that parotha rather than the other outlets that had a big fat chewy bread with no stuffing. The chicken one that I had was good.

Lassi te parronthhe is a hidden task food place. Here u get typical north ke parranthe, rajama chawl, chaas, kulad Wali dahi, n the parathas here are nicely baked in butter and ghee. U will feel ur in Punjab. All the parathas are served with mirch ka achar and amm ka achar. Dhai is must have on paratha. The person who is the owner only cooks and serves with his huge smile and overwhelming gratitude. He is always very humble even when he is very busy servitude baking parathas for others. Very hard worker. The taste is like whenever ur on Carter road u must try the parathas. Meal for 2 may cost around Rs. 200-300. Superb place.

This is an awesome food experience. Make sure to try the lassi which comes in a clay cup and is made with jaggery. Also I thought the garlic paratha could use more garlic but otherwise it's crispy and soft and oily and delicious!

The novelty of this place is that this solo guy makes paratha's right in front of you. Though they are extra greasy they are yummm. The lassi is good and so is the chaas. Every thing is served in an eco friendly plate. And matkas for the lassi. Good place but not much seating and if you like to stand for a long time this place is good.
This places gets all my stars and probably more. No frills, no distractions; only mouth watering parathas with pickle and curd. Don’t forget to take a sip of the lassi too.
