Located in Powai/ Chandiwali area, this place serves some fresh catch fish in curries, fries. The speciality is the Coconut style preparation . This place have comfortable seating arrangement & ambiance is great. The staff were helpful and service was great.

A Huge slice of surmai Fish, is coated with SPices and is Shallow fried in tawa along with garlic. The Fish was soft and fresh & Had that hint of spiciness. Perfectly fried.
I had visited Fisherman's coove. They have maintained complete hygiene. I had ordered Beef stake. It was so delicious. I had the best experience at this place. This place is a must try.
I won't recommend this place for Fish thalis.. you can order food on Ala carte, you will get better options n taste on Ala carte food.. Mojito was good and refreshing. They should improve fish thali content.. like who serves green leafy vegetable in FISH THALI.!!
Few of my friends were vegetarian and they rated vegetarian food to the top. Big thumbs up for vegetarian food there. staff was courteous but service was too slow.
Fisherman's Cove has tasty food items which give you mouth-watering experience. I had bombil fry which was exactly how I wanted and chicken fried rice💜

I want to begin this review by a special mention and a hero of this restaurant Santosh. Massive recommendation to the owner - he is an asset, dont let him leave. The kind of warmth he has while talking to the customers is amazing.. What stood out specially for Santosh was the pride that he takes in the kind of food that is served at the restaurant. He recommended everything with a statement following - Sir ! Aap ye try karo , aisa _____ dish kahi nai milta. I blindly followed!
Best Surmai tava fry ever. In my opinion great dish is always the one where you dont need chutney or anything additional. This was exactly that. Flawless !
Fried Bombil (bombay dak) was amazingly done. Fried and perfectly crispy outside and inside was equally good.
Surmai in mangalorean gravy was very mangalorean . I know the cuisine in and out and it was bang on.

Went to this place on 23rd November and hands down biggest credits going directly to their staff. The team, never found that welcoming, suggestive and polite kinda staff not even in 5 stars, very sweet. The food was cherry on cake, the prawns fry, surmai fry, prawns ghassi with neer dosa, the blue lagoon mocktail, please try chocolate shake and please keep place for this delicious dessert ‘coconut cream roll’ my heart goes out and melts 💕💯😍

Fisherman's Cove - One of the best places to dine in and around Chandivali. Their authentic Mangalorian dishes and Chinese cuisines are lip smacking and delicious. Their ambience too is Mangalore theme based. The flooring and beautiful pictures on the walls displays the Mangalorean culture. Since my office is close to this place, I have been regularly dining here.
The other best part of this place is their service. When you enter this place, they will always greet you with a smile and willing to serve happily. Their Staff Shiva Naik is a Gem. He makes sure that you are having a good time and open for feedback. Even the owners are happy people and it is always delightful to have a conversation with them.
The pricing for the dishes is pretty much fair for the quality and quantity of food served here. I hope everyone enjoys visiting this place.

Not just seafood but the chicken dishes, particularly the Chicken ghee roast is out of this world. Tried surmai fish fry! It was delicious! Also tried their fish thali which is available in lunch hours. It tastes amazing. Also neer dosa is good to go with the gravy.
Delicious sea food ... we ordered Promfret tawa fry, surmai gassi and rice. The fish was really fresh and the spices were just right. Very friendly staff and excellent place for family lunch/dinner.

The food here is just awesome. The best that I have had in Mumbai. Specially try their pan fried fish. I am a hard core non vegetarian but I still love their aloo Gobi. I feel whatever you try here you will like it.

I had a Sunday family lunch at Fisherman's Cove. The food was excellent. The crab soup, chicken pulimumchi and sol curry are worth mentioning. Really tasty and value for money. We were attended by Krishna and his service was very good.

Tasty food served by a very polite and chivalrous staff. The food items are apt in quality as well as quantity. Both veg and non veg items are equally good. Veg items like burnt garlic soup, chilli milli kebab and dragon rolls are very delicious. For non veg lovers the place is heavenly. Murg mix platter is the one of the best items in non veg. They also have variety of fish items that can be customised as grilled/fried. Overall a place worth spending your time and money.....

The food is extremely good and the best part is the Southindian cuisine. All the Chinese starter are very tasty. The dessert, Cramel coconut custard is a must try, absolutely love the coconut flavour.

So we visited Fisherman for the first time just to give a try for seafood dishes and after having dinner over there we realized it was worth to have it. We ordered Surmai, Murg Tandoori Platter and Prawns Dum Biryani and were superior in taste. 😘😘
Excellent food joint for seafood lovers. Seafood is quite cheap as compared to other seafood restaurants around. Taste is good as well. Staff is also well behaved. The non-alcoholic beer is also good. Solkadi is a must try.

Recently opened place in Chandivali that is known to serve seafood dishes, specializing in Mangalorean delicacies. They display their fresh seafood catch & you can pick your favorite & have it cooked in your choice of masala & preparation!

The fish were well cooked - soft & moist. The prawns were a little overdone - they had become rubbery & hard. All the seafood could have been marinated longer in the respective masalas, I felt.. the flavors just seemed to be on the outside, not too well taken up by the meat.
The portion sizes were good and the staff was helpful & courteous. Would definitely like to try their Mangalorean specialties next time!

Fishermans cove, what a place I must say. Its a family place with good food and good ambiance. The food quality and quantity is very superior. I loved the north Indian dishes and they have some south Indian dishes also. I loved the murg sholay kebab and murg malai kebab. I loved everything.

Fisherman's Cove, it's a place dedicated to seafood. The location is quite unusual on the busy streets of Chandivali. Talking about the space, it's quite spacious with an amazing mezzanine floor. Nothing fancy as such but the entire seafood menu is divided into South & North Indian cuisine. With Mangalorean food being their specialty I ordered few of those dishes and were quite amazing on the palate.
Surmai Tawa Fry - A decent slice of surmai well marinated in their spices. It was spicy as well as tangy on my palate and it could not get better. Also, the fish was fresh, so all good to go if you love surmai.
Bombil Rawa Fry - Shallow fried to perfection. Also crispy enough and the taste was fantastic.
Mangalorean cuisine definitely calls for "Prawns Gassi" with a portion of rice & neer dosa. I was quite shocked by the quantity, can be easily had by 2 people and can be full within no time. Also, the neer dosa was an absolute delight, soft and perfect.
In desserts, we had an indulging portion of "Coconut Roll". Just for it if you love coconut-based sweets. Also, the quantity was more than enough and was barely priced at 150 bucks.
Can't really complain about anything. The service was good, also the dishes were priced moderately. The best thing was the quality of the seafood that is the freshness of it.

We visited this restaurant for lunch. It is nestled in a busy street of chandivali adjacent to ICICI Bank with a lot of development going on around in its vicinity. As this restaurant falls right on the main road finding parking seems challenging thanks to valet parking offered by them.
As soon as you enter this place you will feel a cool vibe free of all the hustle and bustle of the city which gives a relaxing feeling.
We directly went up stairs and occupied the biggest available table.
Initially, they didn't play the music so the atmosphere was a bit dull but later felt better once it was switched on.

Fish tastes yum. I believe fish is cooked in Coconut oil over here. Can feel the taste of coconut oil. Price is a bit high. Ambience is nice. Ambience gives a pleasure of village. Overall experience was nice
We ended up at this eatery unintendedly and it turned out to be a good experience. Basically Manglorean food joint, they are serving Chinese and Mughlai, too. Have North Indian veg and non -veg options, too. So in a way, you can have your pick. Suggest, try their sea food, the mangalorian stuff. We tried and were happy. The two floor AC restaurant has bar at first floor offering you another option. Service is okay and the boys polite. Ambience is decent. Negative point is no parking, valet or otherwise!

My quest for sea food lead me to this place. It was an online delivery. After reading a few not-so-good reviews, I was a bit skeptical but still decided to pursue this place for my dinner cravings. I ordered Prawns Schezwan Fried Rice which came on time. The ingredients and spices were all to the point with finely cooked pieces of prawns. However, there was a little spill over due to the schezwan sauce which is understandable. I loved the food, and will definately order again in the future.

I've been passing by the restaurant on the regular and always wanted to try it out. Honestly, I don't know why we didn't come here before. And now that we have, it's hand's down my favourite Sea food restaurant, in this part of town.
I really liked the whole vibe of the place, especially the hand painted murals on the 1st floor seating area. Comfortable seating, spacious yet cosy.
Their speciality being Mangalorean cuisine, we obviously had to try the staples! So we started with their superb Prawns Rava fry, coated and shallow fried in the most crunchy rava coating, is a must have. It was so good we ordered 3 plates! Same goes for their Prawns Koliwada fry, with delicious crispy bits of curry patta, adding an amazing punch of flavour! Both these come highly recommended by everyone.
You also must try their 'Sukkha Masala' - with any seafood of your choice. We went for their Teesria or clams. The masala has a heavy dose of fresh grated coconut, spices and well balanced flavors.
For the mains, Please do not leave without trying their Ghee Roast. It's the best I've had in Bombay. Right up there with the famous one from Nagarjuna, Bangalore. Perfect roast masala with liberal amount of cashews in it. Best eaten with Neer Dosas. I just wish their quantity was a little more. It's just enough for one good eater.
The Prawn Gassi with Kori Roti is another Mangalorean speciality you cannot miss! Their Fish thalis are also very good and reasonable too.
The verdict: Superb food and good service are a delightful combination!
UPDATE: Visited the last two times and I'm sad to say that they lost the title for the best ghee roast. Since the chef changed, the dish is very mediocre, with maybe two-three bits of cashews in it. :( Taste is not right too
Wanted to try out a seafood place in the Andheri/ Powai area. Must say, this place didn't disappoint.
The seafood was very tasty and brought back memories of the meals I've had in Mangalore and Goa.
The prawns ghee roast with neer dosa is a must try. Did not check out too many items on the menu but will definitely be visiting this place again when I crave for seafood.
One thing not advertised anywhere is that this place also serves alcohol. A chilled beer with the seafood hit the spot.
Sea food lovers should definitely try this place out. We went for the lunch service, was quite crowded at noon but didn't have to wait too long for the table. Helpful staff and super fast service. There are some options for vegetarians as well but primarily it is a sea food restaurant. The prices are quite reasonable too. Nothing much to say about the ambiance and decor. All in all, a good experience.
We have been looking for a good place to try non vegetarian thali and happen to come across this place. We tried the chicken thali, pomfret thali and Surmai thali..Each and every dish was delicious and had authentic taste. Pomfret masala fry was out of the world. We also had fish tikka and that was yummy as well. We wanted to try more dishes on the menu but had absolutely no space in tummy. We would definitely visit this place anytime. Highly recommended and full value for money
