Kaju Katli from Brij Albela is a must try!! It's absolutely Amazing!!! ❤️❤️
Brij albela is one of the most trusted mithai shop when it comes to ordering tasty delicious snacks or fresh milk product.
They have wide variety of snacks to choose from they started chat section few months back which is so refreshing.
I'm in love with thier sweet section they have bengali and punjabi sweets and also milk products and milk mithai
Kalakand and angoori rasmalai are my favourite from here and in snacks I prefer thier spongy soft dhokla and crispy hot samosas🥐🧀
I highly recommend as they sell hygienic and high quality products and they ofcourse charge high for this service
Brij Albela is a chaat and sweets joint located exactly opposite Wadala station.
They offer varied variety of chats and sweets, delicacies ranging from south of India to the extreme north.
They're samosa and chutney is best consumed hit and is an amazingly prepared and succulent to have.
I also tried their katori chat which is wholesome and fills your stomach till the neck.

Have grown up eating sweets at brij albela memories are from those days when samosa plate was served for 13 rupees and half lassi at 7. With 20 rupees pocket money during school days was spent in evening once a week. I remember the price of rasmalai , malai sandwich @8 rupees a piece.
Location. Opposite Wadala station west. At left hand side on R.A.K Road.
Things to try.
1 dry fruit sweets ( kaju katri )
2 bangali sweets pick up any won't disappoint u.
3 rabdi. It has lost its charm of those old days when it use to be simple thick malai but then to can try.
4 hot masla milk.
They have started with chart counter and cakes also but never tried them. Can try there samosa too but for me it's ages i had it so can't comment on taste. But yes recomend for sweets can try won't be dis appoint you . Bit pricey but worth the money.

One of the most tasty nd flavourful sweets nd dessert shop. Hygienic nd clean. Very happy to been there. Gulabjam is one of my favorite dessert in this shop
I will rate it 5star only for quality of der product but for service it’s 1star. Some of the staff is rude n uneducated they don’t care if they loses customers I hope the owner realise this n improve customer service.
Amazing place discovered by my hubby.. We love almost all the sweets and especially brownies from here.. Must have their brownies and rasgullas
Amazing stuff! I think they sell best rasgulla in town .Here the Bengali sweets are worth trying.you rarely see to get such amount of variety in other sweet Shop in Mumbai
Best place to have sweets in wadala. Variety of sweets are available over. You have sweet there itself or you can take parcel. Even they make sweets on order. Their famous Pani Puri is must to taste once and Somosa and sweet chutney one should try😍
This is the best place to eat sweets, snacks and much more.I just love their rasgullas, malai roll,Rabdi,...(And the menu doesn't end). It's location is best (just opposite to Wadala station).I love their service and experience too.
I have tried almost 8-9 types of #sweets from this shop. except one (kiwi flavoured) none of them have disappointed me.
Kesar #Kajukatli is my most favourite sweet from this shop.
The shop has so many variations of #Rasgulla
Snacks and Sweets place... being closer to home we generally get here. One of the best places in Wadala for samosas and jalebi! These two are their best items.
The covering of their samosa is crisp and not very thick; the filling is nice and spicy...more North Indianish. I do like their kachoris as well but am not much of a kachori person...so my preference is the steaming hot samosa. The samosa is served with the dates and imli chutney.
You also get other snacks like dhokla, khandavi, kachoris, farsan and dry fruits! There are a lot of options in sweets ...gulab jamuns, ras malai, bengali sweets, kaju barfi etc....their jalebis are the best (nothing beats standing there and eating freshly done jalebis)! Their dry fruit based barfi and boondi ladoos are also very good.

Normally a Shev Puri is served in a regular gol puri but this is something unexpected like it is served in baked Basket like structure with it's fresh and tasty fillings💯🔥
It is a chat corner plus sweets store.
Famous for its sweets like rabdi, ras malai ,ras gulla etc. & Chats like samosa, kachori, bhel etc.
Taste of food here is exceptional & worth to try.
It is very hygienic place also for a chat corner.
Do visit if you are nearby wadala station as it is opposite to wadala station.
Shevpuri panipuri lassi dhokla samosa must try.. good and quality food.. Been there many times.. Good place for mithai n fastfood...........
The best place for sweets in Wadala, Matunga, Kings Circle area! The owners see to it that the taste never changes. They use premium ingredients. The only place I know which makes fresh Rasgullas 3 times in a day - the best n freshest!
The Raspberry Sorbet (Aarti Iyer)
+4
In Wadala area, I think this is one of the best shops for chaat and sweets. The quality of products is very good.
Ambiance:
It's a small shop nothing fancy or unique about it.
Food:
The food is to die for. Their chaat is awesome. There is a live counter for jalebis and Ragada Pattice. Their sweets are absolutely delicious and they have good variety too.
Love their rasgullas 😍They sell like hot cakes here. Tried few other sweets they taste delicious 😋
Waffers are also good. They have a variety of khari. Do try them they taste awesome!
Overall, a good place to get your snack items.
Simply yum.Their samosas are world's best.sweets n lassi too is good.if u ever visit this place don't go wtot trying the samosa.
Yum
Lip smacking sweets served here. Fresh mithai with superb taste. The snacks are fresh and delicious. They have a special sweet called gulmohar which has a little taste of chocolate in it, simply melts in the mouth. Also, the kesar malai roll has a very unique taste. The lassi here is just perfect with a dash of thick malai on top of it. It a little on the costlier side but definitely worth it.
Must try - kaju katli, bengali sweets, gulmohar, lassi, samosa, Kachori and sev puri.

A good landmark for people here in Wadala will be Brij Albela mithai waala an very good place for chaats and lip smacking samosas here. Followed by awesome variety of sweets this place is a must visit for the chaat lovers especially. I would suggest everyone to try there Bengali sweets for those who are sweet lovers around please make a visit nearer to the Wadala station.
Some really great amazing crazy stuff to eat at this place.
I've had their gulab jamuns (all shapes and sizes) as well as their Kalla jamuns all the time. Their samosas with cutney are also fantastic.
they even keep sponge cakes (various flavors) which is also really good.
And they have another section where they make lassi. Their mango lassi is soo good. sooo good.
This place is probably as good as damodar (in my opinion atleast)
It is a good sweet shop - quite a variety of khoya based sweets... the barfis and laddus galore. They also have different savouries - dalmoth being really tasty. However in my opinion they make the best rasgolla in the city. They also serve chats n samosas - which is avoidable.
Quality and service: first class
Variety: good variety of sweets to choose from. Plus, the chat options are brilliant.
Service: very pleasant
Personal experience: I was out shopping sweets for my visit home and the swipe machine did function. The shopkeeper was considerate enough to allow me to pay later, whenever I returned from my native. Was truly touched.
The home of authentic Punjabi Halwai made it's way to Wadala some time back. People who live in the locality know of the quality of their products. Be it their Jalebi or Masala milk. The chamcham or the gulab jamun. Their sweets are absolutely amazing. Getting a hand at Mithai during any festive season is impossible from Brij Albela.
Thanks for adding the much needed sweetness to Wadala.
Had been here couple of times before and had their satiating samosa and sweets. This place serves you sweets that are fresh & their samosa might be expensive however it will keep you full :)
Today went here with a friend and had their Chaat
* Punjabi Bhel &
* Sev Puri
We shared the items and were full only with Chaat. They have made arrangements for small tables outside where one can sit and talk amidst the chaos of vehicles & traffic. The place is clean and hygienic too. For a street food joint it's quite good.
Amazing place to hang out with your friends.
You have the options of chaat and sweets.
A lassi at brij albela is my personal favourite.
A must visit place for sweets .
The sweets were very nice. The service was also prompt. The salted cashews was very nice. The gulab jamun, milk cake, peda was also nice. The laddu was just awesome.
Swwwet place indeed ... Rossogullas are fantabulous ... Try the Pakeezah and Chcoc delight too .. I got to see all the things were heavenly .. Must visit if u get down at Wadala station any day .. Just opposite the station
Well a decent place for sweet lovers in Wadala. Quite known for some astonishing snacks. Have seen this place growing from a small sweet shop to a Stop and Eat place now. Must try Rabdi and Veg Pattices.
Situated just opposite to Wadala Station. Mostly known and famous for sweets, deserts! You have to try out the Rabdi! And even they have 3-4 varieties in it. Irresistible rabdi! Must visit this place if you are a total sweets lover!
Brij Albela is blessed with a great location opposite the Wadala Station. As college students, we frequented the place to have savoury chaats. Everything in the chaat section: pani puri, bhel, sev puri, dahi papdi chaat, etc. is extremely delicious. Also, it is a great place to visit if you have a sweet tooth. I simply loved the rasmalai, jalebi, gulab jamun served here! Next time you cross Wadala station, make it a point to treat yourself to some wonderful chaat and mithai in this shop!
Being right below my house - all the sweets at home were always bought from here - even before i was born!
Some must try things : samosa, malai peda, gulab jamun, rasgulla, sandwich mithai, chamcham, kala jamun, dahi puri, peda, kalakand, rabri !! Gosh then list doesnt end!
Waiting for someone ? Want some snack bites ? This place is suitable.....once you go in it's the paradise of snacks.....from samosas to rasgullas....every unique chat and dark chocolates are tongue melting....truly palatable !!!
When at wadala Brij Albela is a must vist.
The punjabi samosas and the Khasta kachori are just YUM.
Try their regular snack Bites , freshly made but the best is the RasGula and Rasmalai. they are i gues the best in Mumbai.
Do try the Chats as well ....
This place is awesome ..
Must visit.
Amazing Sweets and Chat Items..i travel all the way from Thane to pick up sweets from Brij Albela..the counters are kept clean..the products are fresh and the staff is very helpful..do visit the place if you are in the area around early evening..great value for money.
Keep up the good work Albela guys..
Decent place. Awesome Jalebis and Halwa. a bit overpriced. It was a place of frequent visit when I stayed in Matunga for a year
Wanna visit this place again when I come back to Mumbai.
Have been knowing this place since childhood. They have drastically improved over these years. I love their piping hot samosas with honey sauce. Their malai sandwich is second to none.
My in the neighborhood place! Good for chat and lovely sweetmeats! :) Its just opposite Wadala Station. Try their halwa as well, its yumm! :).
I only discovered this place by chance when, during a pot party, someone got rasgullas from Brij Albela! They are easily the tastiest I've ever eaten! So soft and perfectly made, their rasgullas are to die for! They aren't very annoyingly sweet either, the ones which are soaked in thick consistency sugar syrup! I'm quite sure everybody will enjoy these rasgullas.
They also serve some great chaat - sev puri and Ragda Pattice specifically are very tasty!
It's reasonably priced and it is my go to destination for a sweet fix when I crave Indian Mithai. ❤️
This place is just so near to wadala station... Suggested by one of the friend.. So we decided to try.. Their chats are reaaallly good.. Especially samosa chat, shev puri.. Pricing is fare according to quality, quantity and taste..
Visiting since 1989 now bit a lil on costlier side.
But lassi samosa labbri jalebi is among the best.
Hygienic food if u have sweet tooth than this place is where u should be!!
Indulge in sweetness
Just few days back while crossing wadala station we halted this well lit aloof in the row sweet and farsan sort of outlet .. I had heard about it but never managed to halt and visit once ..but at night one can definately not miss it as it seems to be the only rushed and lit place bang opposite wadala station..may be in disguise its a bliss for them for there arent any competitors in that lane ..
About the PLACE :- Albela as fondly called by locals is divided into sweet and farshan ( S n F ) portion and chat and jalebi section ..well there are some 2 -3 4 seater tables just outside the main shop in pavement and 2 seater tall tables around 3 outside the chart portion ..
The S n F part is well loaded with variety of namkeens n sweets pretty exhaustive to even remember the names of varieties available..and very neatly maintained very hygienic !!.. the chaat n jalebi section has facilities to fry n sweeten the jalebi right before ur eyes making is so very tempting and treat to ur vision senses too yummmm...also there are many chaat options like aloo tikkas which they fry on the spot on yhe huge tawa...and best is they has some new contemorary infusions too like the cheese core bhel without kurmura but sprouts n corn n cheese a new twist !!..they have beautifully crafted customised boxes for parcel making them very professional than just a moderate outlet in deserted lane ..
FOOD :- we were around two third full so just wanted to have some spicy tang crisp chaat ..
We first had the pani puri ...crisp puris but sadly not the sindhi homemade puris which I just love ..but any ways they were crisp n the accompanying spiced water was good although cant say awesumm as I have memories of some of the best pani puris from north (chandigarh) and other few chains in mumbai
we then ordered the jalebi and what a delight when he deep friend ever piece to perfection n dipped in the flavoured sugary syrup yummmmyyyy ..
Next was the corn cheese bhel with sprouts which came as a surprise what a revolutionary dish !!! For me it was very new and yes it added so much nutrition in a funky way ! Just awesum n must try !!
Service :- quick and at ease even when there were quite a lot customers and chaat was the target..
Cost :- its a bit above averagely priced but definatley lesser than Elco chaat in bandra.
Value for money ( VFM ) :- not at all bad .. looking at their location space and quality they can demand this much atleast .. also quality n quantity of food was good EXCEPT Panipuri 6 for 40bucks which I found over priced as they arent cheese or corn or exotic herbs laden to have shooted their prices to that extent !
Will i visit again (w.i.v.a.) ? :- yes to try their other chaats and S n F and Jalebiiiii !!
Brij albela famously know as albela !
Well know for its samosas and kachoris in snacks along with other farsan items hot and fresh !
They have a wide range of chiwdas.
The mouth watering sweets like ras malai which is one of my favourite and gulab jamuns and a variety of bengali sweets !
You get clean pani puri and other chat items which are sold by the shop !
Nice place for indian desserts. Even samosas and other chat items are good. But staff needs some attitude training.
The quality of food is just excellent and the taste even.
I recommend,
1. Kala jamun,
2. Gulab jamun,
3. Ras Malai,
4. Jalebi,
5. Masala Milk,
6. Lassi,
7. Sandwich dhokla,
8. Samosa,
9. Dahi papdi chat.
You should also try the dry snacks which is also really good, esp. Nadiadi mixture
Good, tasty mithais. Try their Malai Sandwich, Ras Malai, Ras Gullas, Faraali Chhivda, etc. and also the ubla huva milk with kesar. One can also have chaats sitting on the temporary seating they provide.
FOOD : Rasmalai, Roshogulla and the chaat items (Dahi Bhel, Dahi Kachori, Sev Puri) are my Favorites. This is a great place for Sweets.
PRICING : Fair according to the quantity, quality and taste.
AMBIENCE : No no.
It's a great place to go with friends, just opposite to wadala station. Do try Dahi bhel and rasmalai as I found them pretty Unique and tasty.
grt desserts vit great quality ..
I loved the food. Tried Veg Biryani and Veg 65. Biriyani taste authentic. They have great variety of food. However was bit disappointed couldn't get Pav bhaji. Talking about the ambience, it's quite decent. If it's completely full, you need to wait outside for your turn. Great service from the staff.
Nice ambience with great food!! Must try Medu Vada.
An awesome place for the local , travellers and for any crowd , it has ac as well as non ac rooms ! But if you want an ac room then you need to be with at least 2 members or more . As well as in ac rooms you will be charged a bit extra. The staff is very good. Also the food is awesome . I had vada sambhar, pav bhai , and cheese dosa , you also try that too. Also the prices of the products are reasonable. Must go place it is . Also it is a cozy place.
Best place near wadala station (w) ....I love Vishnu's dal khichadi ....good place for south Indian food too .... nice staff and fast service
Good Chinese food and paneer chill , noodles also can try worth visit, affordable price ..can visit ..near the station
Delicious food. Well maintained kitchen and sincere staff.
Awesome food...specially south indian food items.
This is my favourite place for South Indian food. I had idli, dhosa and medu Vada several times but the quality was always the best. This place is so clean and just behind the Vadala railway station.
