Just wanted to share that I must appreciate northern tadka for their excellent service. I order saag on lohri and they sent a complimentary jalebi and ravdi for the occasion. This made me feel extra special and personal. Thank you for your excellent service. Very nice personal touch and excellent marketing strategy.
Overall the place was good we went with family on Sunday so it was full and also noisy but the food was too good to complain .. makai-di+ roti with sarson ka saag and white butter made my day
Best restaurant for Northern food. We had dahi wale kebab, chicken galoutti kebab, paneer patiyala and tandoori roti. Every dish was yummy and tasty. But iceing on the cake was jalebi with rabdi. That was complimentary. Cost for 2 without alcohol is approx 1500 to 2000
As the name suggests "Northern Tadka" its food and ambience says it all... for starters dahi ke kebab , crispy corn are the must have irrespective if you are veg or non veg food lover... For main course my recommendation will always be paneer patiyala and murgh musallum with butter garlic naan .... If you are a nonveg lover nothing could relish your taste buds more than murg galoti kebab or the non veg platter.... Thanks to there courteous staff for serving a complementary plate of rabdi jalebi..... to me Northern Tadka is one of the finest North Indian food serving restaurant chain across Mumbai

One of my favorite dishes is Baigan ka bharta, Murgh Malai Kebab and Butter Chicken.
My favorite dessert is Jalebi and rabadi, its just mouth watering and satisfying.
I love the food overall here, never disappoints.
The ambiance is great, gives you feels. I love the way in which the food is served, gives you the feeling of typical authentic punjabi dhaba style.
The staff is efficient, quick and well mannered and friendly.
Better veg Options , More spicy food is expected . Better starters on Menu

Are you finding for a getter restaurant then you should visit this Resto named as Northern Tadka which is located in veera desai and is very easy to find and safe by the quality and quantity.
When we walked in, i really didn't know what to expect.. Wonderful courteous staff who greeted us right at the entry with opened umbrellas on a rainy day. Great recommendations by the captain and delicious lip smackin food. Tried the gulati kebabs, murgh Mumbai masala, veg lollipops, handi mastani and every item was soo good. They even threw in a complimentary jalebi rabri for us which only added to the delight! Even my granny thoroughly enjoyed it.
It has a Typical Dhaba type ambience, my only recommendation would be an on increasing the brightness around. On a gloomy cloudy day, it looked very sombre. Else It was 5 stars all the way.
Everyone here is so polite. The best place for non vegetarians. PS: I am a non-veg so yeah. The staff is good. They bring good quality food. ❤️❤️

We were about 14 people for dinner.
Ordered the basic nonveg and veg platter respectively,with rumali roti.
Upto the mark taste and good quantity.
We then opted for Chicken Dum Biryani and Mutton biryani.
To my surprise, the biryani wasn't dry and had a good amount of chicken/Mutton pieces in them. Served hot in a clay pot it looked ravishing as well.
For mocktails, we opted for BILLO RANI, VIRGIN KIWI & PEACH ICE TEA.
My favorite has to be Kiwi,it had such a refreshing flavor to it.
All in all the biryani with the kiwi drink stole the show.
Go to place if I have to eat Punjabi food. My favourite being Butter Chicken. Even love to order from this place. Lovely ambience and amazing food makes it a great place for family dinner
If you are ever craving delicious Indian food , then you've reached the right place . Northern Tadka has the best dal makahni and is hands down the best place for Punjabi food.It is also very pocket friendly.Would definitely recommend it

This place serves mind blowing north indian food. Staff is really awesome. On every Thursdays they have a candle light dinner which adds to the experience. During our visit here Sandeep and Mantu took very good care us. Jalebi with rubdi is must try, along with rajama chawal and sarso da saag. They also have discount on selected credit cards don't forget to ask abt it.

Spacious contemporary decor to make you feel Indian speciality. I had an almost perfect garlic butter naan and delicious tadka chicken. Dont forget to try their tandoor items. A casual but aesthetic decor and ambience will amaze you. At the same time a reasonable menu price will make you feel comfortable. Class of a food place remains in toilet & kitchen. I liked the cleanliness of their washroom. Service was just meeting expectation & the wow factor is -- complimentary hot jalebi with raabri!! Wow man.. you overwhelmed me.. so 5 star and best wishes! Recently dined at this restaurant which is located in Veera Desai. This restaurant is known for its speciality in Northern food. And the ambience also resembles that of North India. I had ordered for a paneer tikka with naan. It was delicious. The service was upto the mark and I wasn’t expecting to have such an experience but yes indeed I had a great experience.
Northern tadka is located very close to DN Nagar metro station so it is very accessible from there ...good place in terms ambiance... staff was polite and service was good..
Starter - we ordered nimboo chicken ...it was very nicely plated with prefect combination of spicy mix it was a must try dish here..
Main course - Butter chicken with butter naan - it was all time favourite as you cannot go wrong with it. Amazing taste with perfectly cooked tender pieces chicken. Naan was really done well too...
Dessert - Jalebi rabri - 8 pieces of really tasty Jalebi with centre placed rabri ...it was wow
Had one of the best Buffet in low rate enjoyed veg+non veg in just Rs 599 from starters to desserts every item is a must try dish in this buffet ambience is very nice and staffs are very friendly with their customers.

Such a great experience here felt like I was in Punjab, the food taste yummy the staff here are polite and helpful, it was our 2 anniversary and I told manager to play some music or celebrate after the bill and the whole staff came to congratulate us with boards in their hand. And yes they offer free rabdi and jalebi after the bill.
Went for a late dinner. The entire experience was wonderful thanks to the courteous staff and the lovely service. We ordered one starter and then on the recommendation of the waiter, we had reshmi parantha. The surprise was the complimentary rabdi-jalebi and the student discount. Bit pricey but worth it.
This place is good to go out with family for dining. They have an array of dishes in their menu. I hav tried just a couple of them, as I didn't enjoy the place much. It was an overall good experience, but cannot say that it was great.
You must try their butter chicken and mutton biryani. These are my favorite. The service can be slow at times. But the food is really good.

This is my forever comfort food place. I would recommend their kebabs, paneer preparations, biryani and mostly everything else. If you love Punjabi food, this is the place to be! Spices are well balanced, gravies are well cooked, everything is fresh and nothing is too oily, and the decor is absolutely perfect!

Heard a lot about this place finally went there today for lunch with some friends on the eve of Diwali. Its a cool place with nice dhaba style ambience and staff was also nice. We decided to go for buffet and starters arrived, murgh seekh kebab,2 types of chicken tikkas and a fish tikka, paneer was there. Starters were nice. They didn't have too many options for main course, dal and rice was nice, 2 veg gravies, chicken and mutton gravies were there. Pineapple raita and green salad was there for salad and for dessert they had tiramisu,firnee and cut fruits. Overall it was nice experience. Food was awesome and at reasonable prices
Visited here for a friend's birthday party. The ambience is well lit , soothing and quiet big. As the name itself says northern tadka, the seating arrangement here is different giving it a dhaba feel (maybe modern dhaba). The water was served in kullads which was actually fascinating and unique.
The staff was courteous and polite and also helped out with the best of their menu.

Jhilmil panner tikka (4/5) - The paneer was soft and well marinated.
Murgh phuljari kebab (4/5)
Main course - paneer sangam masala with butter nan and cheese garlic nan.. the gravy was awesome and quantity was enough for 2 persons.

Hello guys this place is located in andheri west at ceera desai road. This place has a good look and feel of punjabi dhaba as the theme of this place is itself that. It’s a fine dine place with good indian food. Food quality of this place is great ad it has multiple options on their menu. Disher recommended are chicken kebabs, Tandoori,mutton seekh, Biryani. They also serve hot poping desi ghee jalebi’s with cold rabdi. Malai kulfi was soemthing i loved at this place. Definetly a place to go with family and friend ad they also serve alcohol.
Northern Tadka on Veera Desai Road is one of the most famous restaurants in the area serving good North Indian food at a reasonable rate. It is just beside the skoda showroom and is opposite to the juggheads. Coming to the restaurant, it is not exact a fine dine for you can expect a lot of chirping of kids and the waiting is usually long on the weekends. The food is great with some relatability to the ones served in the north of India. You get drinks as well here. I believe they give one on one on pitchers. So the crowd is an eclectic mix of students and family in equal measure. All the food items here are worth a taste and it is no doubt that missing North Indian food makes me go back to this place without any inhibition. Shorba gets a special mention here and so does the lemon chicken. A must go to place if North Indian food is your style.

I often visit this place with my family. The food here is no doubt one of the best. It has a lot of varieties aswell specially in chicken it has the famous north taste in its food which everyone wants.
One of the best north Indian food I have had in Mumbai. Not just the taste but the service is also really nice. And in the end to make our day they gave this jalebi rabdi as a sweet gesture.

This is a nice Punjabi style restaurant for a family dinner. They can take large groups and we were a group of 8. The food was good and they had a lot of vegetarian options. The ambience is good for the theme. Service is fine.

Nice ambience and good sitting arrangement. You can chose to sit beside the glass wall to have view of a busy road. All staff is in Punjabi attire. You get water served in kullhad and food in brass plates. Food is tasty.
Bar many keeps the similar price trend compared to other clubs in the vicinity. Washroom is shared with other restaurant.
Downside is little bit slow service and you need to call staff some times. The sitting arrangement near glass wall is less lit and reading menue is difficult. Washroom doesn't have paper napkins or air dryer and round handles need to touched when you come out.

If you want to relish on authentic Punjabi food in Mumbai suburb, then this is the place to be hog at. Amazing Non-veg platters and yummy chicken dishes to choose from. The ambiance is great and the service is maintained to high quality standards. It is usually crowded during the evening especially over the weekends and even if you come at 10pm. So make sure you come early especially when you are with a group. Fun-fact it has a common washroom corridor that connects with Pop-tates restaurant, so in case you wish to shift the style of cuisine, you can just walk in between corridors and relish a nice meal.

Loved this place, especially the non veg platter, the spices and the taste of kebabs are really good. The manager was kind enough to help us with the reservation inspite of reaching a bit late before shutting down for lunch hours. You must try the lassi here and the jalebi with firni. The butter chicken is one of the best here too. Good for a group of 6-8 people.
I have been to this restaurant multiple times and my experience is always pleasant. It is a Punjabi themed restaurant. The food is delicious however slightly on saltier side. The ambiance is great. The staff is well trained, friendly and helpful. You can rely on their recommendations. Chicken tikka biryani is a must try. They also provide corporate discount for a few companies. So don't forget to carry your office identity card.
