Ark is an amazing restaurant for a family lunch or dinner. The quantity and quality are almost perfect. Jalepeno Poppers in starters is superb. They even serve Phulkas with punjabi sabzi. There is just one condition which you need to take care, when you go for lunch... You need to be there latest by 2 pm. Their kitchen shuts at 3 pm SHARP. So preperation for closing kitchen starts from 2:45 pm. All in all a good experience...

I tried the Punjabi dishes Paneer Tikka masala with nan and Dal Tadka with Jeera Rice it was awesome and also the service. The staffs were courteous and well trained. One should visit this place they serve great quality food and loved the Ambience.

A very late review but yeah finally doing it .!! Had been to this place . The place looks premium with some good decor . Also the hygiene is very well maintained . Coming to the food part I had ordered for starters Paneer Mastani Tikka . The taste was good and had a smoky flavor on it . For the main course had ordered Paneer Butter Masala , Ajwain paratha , Butter Roti and Cheese Kulcha. The taste was pretty nice not too spicy . However portion size was less for the price it is kept at . And had ordered two coolers Berry Blast and Kiwi Fever absolute disappointment with both as they had just loads of syrup mixed with Sprite and no natural taste to it ..

Visited here with family in evening last Saturday, after reading positive comments on Zomato.
Ordered Veg Mohini & Paneer Tawa Mehefil based on suggestions of waiter along with butter roti & naan. The service was quick & the staff was polite. Both the subzi's were very very tasty & quite different in taste from normal punjabi subzi & also were well presented. The quantity was a bit less in comparison to the rates charged. But the awsome taste made up for prices. Also the repeat order was quick for roti's.
The ambience is very nice with soft music & live matches can be watched on big screen. Also ample of paid parking place available in complex. Overall had a good dining experience & will surely visit again in the future.

A small place with very nice decor and courtagious staff. This place is in the premise of milap cinema. Awesome Punjabi and Chinese food. We have ordered Veg Masti, butter roti, garlic naan and butter kulcha. All the items were very good. Lastly we have ordered Veg pot rice and that was the best of the day dish. A must visit for kandivali gujjus !!

So we went to Ark Vegetarian Fine & Dine on a Sunday evening. The place was crawling with people. Here's what I have to say about the place.
Ambience: 4/5. The place looks classy. The interiors are well crafted. Although there were a couple of flies roaming on top of some of our heads but that can be taken care of by more cleanliness measures, I guess. Soft music played throughout & the lights were very well placed to create a cozy environment.
Food: 4.5/5. Food was pretty amazing. Everything was fresh & tasty. We relished the following dishes.
1) Veg Manchow Soup : All the spices were mixed well & it had all the elements of a Manchow soup.
2) Veg Rajwadi and Veg Maratha: We insisted on getting spicy vegetable dish & that's exactly what we got. Both the dishes were tasty & spicy. It left a fire-y after taste.(just what we wanted). Veg Rajwadi is yellow gravy & Veg Maratha is red, not to forget, freshly made.
3) Butter Rotis: Nothing special, but over all not bad either.
4) Jeera rice & Dal tadka: The Jeera rice was steaming hot & well cooked. Dal was ultimate. Such rich taste & good mend of spices.
Few negligible cons:
The place has its own personality. The staff(includes everyone) walks around with a bit of a pride of some sort. Its hard to explain here in a review but you'll know when you go there. Nothing wrong in that either, its just that I found it a little odd, that's all.
Our order took a loong loong loong time to arrive. I don't know if it was due to a busy evening or if they insisted on making everything from start or if they were short on staff inside the kitchen. But, we spent almost 2 and half to 3 hours in the restaurant, out of which about 2 hours we spent waiting for the food.
Initially, when we went, we sat for about 5 to 10 minutes & then asked for someone to serve us water. Then we asked for tissues, then we asked for salt and pepper. None of those things were available on the table. Only thing we were given upfront was the menu cards.
However, over all, it was a good experience, the price of the food was just about right considering everything. The boy who served us(couldn't get his name or his picture, unfortunately) was too good. Very humble, polite & on his toes to serve us. Also the person who was coordinating(a possible owner) the queue on 1st come 1 serve basis outside the restaurant, forecasted an hour & gave us the table in 30 minutes. So a BIG "well done" on his coordination.
Definitely going back, however may be during odd hours to avoid the crowd.
This place was on my 'go to place' since a long time. Totally worth the wait.
North Indian food. Not very spicy. Innovative starters and value for money.

There are quite a few udipi kinda restaurants around but none that comes close to nice cosy fine dine feel.
Ark gives you just that!
Yellow lights lit just enough to give you a warm feeling. Chandeliers and decor has a modern touch.
Service :
Staff is courteous and helps in suggesting their best sellers, of which most turn out to be good. Service is a little slow, so you need to go with a little patience and a lot of time! Especially if it's a weekend, you may have to wait even longer.
Food:
They only serve Punjabi and Chinese but they do a fantastic job at that. While I have tried limited dishes in Chinese, Punjabi dishes have been delicious.
What did we order:
Palak Cheese Soup - Awesomeness!!! Right amount of creaminess to the palak taste makes it a hit combination! RECOMMENDED
Broccoli Soup - Good soup but was mild in flavor and I've definitely had better. Can give it a miss.
Tomato Basil Soup - A good choice for Tomato lovers
Masala Papad - Crisp fried Papad topped with finely chopped onion, tomatoes and coriander. Perfect!
Veg Mohini - Best seller! Finely chopped veggies in red gravy cooked to perfection. MUST HAVE!!!
Veg Makhanwala - Medium spicy sabzi with mixed veggies with a tinge of sweetness. A distinct taste and a good change from the regular ones.
Butter Tandoori Roti - Soft rotis that you can have by itself.
Paneer Onion Kulcha - This one's not on the menu but was made on request. Soft paneer merged with Onion makes up a delightful kulcha! MUST HAVE!!
Veg Pulao - Exactly what you need when you have had enough food but need a little rice to complete your meal. Rice cooked with veggies in a mild flavor. Light on tummy and delicious in taste.
Ice cream - Basic vanilla ice cream but apparently they use a very good brand because it tasted amazing and 2 scoops in a serving makes it enough to satiate your sweet tooth.
Recommendation :
Two reason I haven't given it a 5 star:
1. I would LOVE to try more cuisines at this place that serves EVERYTHING so yummy! If nothing fancy, at least inclusion of Pizzas, Pav Bhaji, Sandwiches/ Burgers & South Indian dishes is much needed.
2. No Home Delivery - While they do have take away options, they don't deliver & neither do they have a tie up with Delivery Partners like Zomato/ Swiggy.

Today I was in a mood for Punjabi food. Ark Vegetarian was nearby, so I thought it would be the best place to dine.
A meal cannot be done without starters (for me), so we took Roasted Masala Khichiya Papad and Jalapeno Poppers.
Roasted Masala Khichiya Papad was a bit spicy, so I didn't eat much of it. Jalapeno Poppers is a must try. It was rolled in crushed papad. The taste was awesome. The tiny peices of jalapeno were also yummy.
A meal also cannot be done without main course (obviously). We took Paneer Butter Masala, (my favourite paneer ki sabzi) Naan, Butter Roti and Kulcha. The PBM's Paneer was soft and spongy as expected and the gravy was also creamy.
A restaurant can't be done without ambiance, (I can't write anything in this bracket) so the ambiance of Ark was also very nice. I liked the soft instrumental music playing in background which was very soothing, but unfortunately, it was nearly inaudible due to noisy crowd present 😒. The staff was quite friendly.
Overall, Ark is a fine place to dine.
Heard alot about this place since it was a complete pure veg restaurant. Visited this place on Saturday. Ambience was pretty good & simple. Staff was quick, courteous & friendly. We had ordered Tomato Basil Soup which was superb!! Had to ordered 2 times because the taste was too good. We ordered Hakka Noodles & Manchurian Gravy which was good. Will visit this place again & try other dishes.

A family dining restaurant. Make sure you're okay with people chatting all around (not a place for people who love a quiet and peaceful environment while eating).
For starters, one can look for the Jalepeno poopers here. The kebab platter is an equally good option.
The main course, Mumtaz and Mohini should do the trick. Good texture and blend, should serve about 3-4 people easily.
If you're in for coolers you should probably go for the basics, pina colada or the virgin mojito. I wouldn't recommend any mocktails though, they don't decorate the drinks (which partly takes away the essence I'd say).

I had heard about this place from a close friend, so went there yesterday to find.
Ark Vegetarian is a fine dine restaurant with a beautiful interiors and ambience is really good alongwith a soft music playing the background.
Food is different from what other restaurants have.
We had ordered the Kurkure Kebab which was soft from the inside and had a crispy coating on the outside. It was served with a spicy cabbage salad.
For the main course we ordered Stuffed Paneer Masala with Garlic Naan.
Service of the staff was very good.
In all , we had a good time and will be visiting Ark Vegetarian once again.
Got to here about this place from a friend. A fine dine restaurant serving delicious North Indian and the best Dum biryani I can say. After waiting for 40 mins we finally got place to sit worth for wait.
A must visit for vegan lovers therefore don't be surprised if you see a long queue of people waiting to get a spot in there especially on weekends. Prompt service, awesome food especially the way they present and superb ambience is what you expect when you go out with family/friends and that is what exactly this people deliver.

'Dum Aloo Amritsari' at Ark is a must-order main course dish. It is spicy and has paneer mixed up with aloo with an authentic tandoor taste which is spicy as well. Reminds me of my days in Delhi where my aunt's neighbors took us for food trips and we had delights similar to this one here^ ♨️

Ark, is the place you want to go to have amazing North Indian food. It has a good ambience. Be it with family or friends! The best part is, they prepare the food on order. (So it does take sometime for the food to come on your table). But once it's there, it's yummmm! The soups, starters, everything on the menu is too delicious. U should try stuffed paneer rolls, dum biryani and malai kofta! Malai kofta is A Must Try, for the malai kofta lovers. You won't be disappointed!

A nice pure vegetarian fine dine near home... So definitely going back! We ordered the broccoli corn soup.. perfect consistency and a healthy option for a yummy soup! In starters after reading so many zomato reviews, we ordered jalapeno poppers.. it lived up to the positive reviews.we loved it.. the papad coating gave it a very good taste. In the main course we ordered what ark is famous for.. the Dum biryani! We loved this too! Good option for a family dinner. Tip: they don't take table reservations and have got only arnd 20 tables. So make sure u walk in before 8 pm. Gets a little noisy after 9.

Food taste is great, ambiance is great staff is great only problem I had was i was seated next to the door and while having a main course flies came and sat over food they changed the dish but overall had a bad Experience also pay and park is available.
So tried this restaurant for the first time , easy location to find this place . The ambience is really good with soothing music . The food was good especially the kebab platter it's a must try it gives you different kebabs which will please your taste buds #let's guide
Food is really good.. restaurant is always occupied.. even on weekdays expect to wait at least 10-15mins minimum.. food is yummy n quantity is also apt.. but service is miserable.. very very very less staff.. no one comes to take order on time.. we go here only for food.. so be patient enough for the service.. they really need to improve in that.. else great place for vegetarian.. bit over priced
Best place for having good food with Family and Friends. Service also very fast according price quantity and quality is best. ambience is amazing lowlight with light music. I can suggest to couple go for date😄

The food is great in every aspect, may it be the taste, or the presentation. Roomali papad is highly recommended. Great ambience too. The only flaw was in the professionalism of the staff.

5 stars for food and ambience. The restaurant is small in size thus be ready to wait for and hour or two before getting in (also, no good seating available for waiting). The owners are on the floor and make sure that they host their customers with best hospitality possible.
Small place but with good food. So go early or go late or be ready to wait. Corteus staff. Quick service. What's more a movie theatre in the building. The downside is no valet parking and you have to pay and park. Recommendation- pot rice
Starters were awesome (Cheese Corn balls and chrunchy kebabs). Main Course was ok types (sabji was a bit spicy). Place is quite spacious, liked the ambience. Would definitely recommend to try out. Parking is available in the pvr milap parking area.

Located right below PVR cinemas in Kandivali is Ark. Between Goregaon and Kandivali, this has turned out to be one of the few good fine dining experiences accessible on SV road. Let me first start with the ambiance. Overall great, but nothing extraordinary about it. Lets just say you'll be pleasantly comfortable with the decor. Be prepared for all the gujju commotion on a sunday, along with an hour of waiting. The food was good though don't have much to say about the starters, We had jalapeno cheese balls, which are basically paneer balls with marked absence of jalapenos. The paneer chilly could have been better with the paneer. Soups were generally good, you could make a go for brocolli soup. Over all a decent fair. Though, the vegetables are pretty great. More memorable are the breads, especially the Onion Kulcha. Try it! The gravies are generally very rich and you can expect to leave the table with a heavy stomach. The service could have been a bit better. Not only is it slow, but at times, the waiters tend to be too eager to please or generally clueless about missing ordered items
Overall, its a decently good vegetarian fine dining restaurant, worth the money that you can visit once a while. If you have the patience for long waiting lines.
Excellent Kurkure Kabab and multani Mushrooms, Mojito was just perfect. Decent ambience and service. Good BGM, Great value for money overall. Been there with my wife and had a fulfilled experience with Barbeque.
