This place is quite good to visit with family and friends... They have ac as well as non-ac section... We ordered some mocktails and then continued further with crispy paneer... They were quite good to start with...and then we went for chinese friend rice and it was also upto the mark...and at last desert was very much heart fulfiling and i had a great night here with a friend.. I visited for dinner with my family and were seated in the lawn area; there was live screening of cricket match.
We ordered virgin pinacolada and fresh lime soda for mocktails. They were quite good.
We had prawns Koliwada, surmai tava fry and fish fried for appetizers.
Opted for butter chicken and rumali roti which was impeccable.
To end our meal we had sizzling brownie.
The services were prompt and food is scrumptious. Must visit.

This Restaurant is located at Chembur Station. They Serve North Indian, Mughlai and Chinese Food. Indoor and Outdoor seating available. Big Screen to enjoy sports is available. Music played is very nice. Ambience is very good and the crowd visiting the restaurant is decent. Special occasions like Birthday Party and Kitty Party can be celebrated here. Service by the staff is good. Its a Hygenic Place. I tried Paneer Makkhanwala along with Tandoori Roti. Paneer was soft, Taste and Texture of the Paneer Makkanwala was good.

I went there with my family and they have 2 sections one is. AC and non AC we went for the AC section but trust me non AC is Better because in the evening there are some amazing live gazal performances they arrange.
So we ordered a mocktail called “Toxic Kiwi” which I personally liked it. (5/5)
For starters we ordered Mutton Seekh kebabs and chicken hot pan both were extremely delicious. (5/5)
And in veg we ordered paneer kalimiri tikka which was also very nice. (4.5/5)
And in main course we ordered some green Thai curry and steam rice which was also great.
And in dessert we ordered Red velvet and New York Cheese cake. Both are mind blowing and served with a scoop of ice. Cream.

Golden Lawn is at a walkable distance from the Chembur Monorail station. It has a outdoor as well as indoor seating arrangement. The outdoor section even has the screening of sports events on the big screen. The service is good and the food was delicious. We ordered for Chicken Manchow Soup followed by Reshmi Tikka and Chicken Tandoori which comes with the standard Green Chutney, Lemon and Onions. For main course, we had Chicken Tawa with Butter Garlic Naan and Tandoori Roti. Overall a very good experience :)
Me and my family was looking for some place with live music in chembur like where old hindi or gazal plays, so this was recommended by one of my college friend, the place is good, food is something which is ok.. But the ambience is something that brings me here always... But a FYI dont visit this place on 31st december, their prices go over roofs where in a plate of manchurian will cost you 900 which personally I dont find worth.. (you can 🙃) overall the place is good.

It has a sitting outside with a live sangeet (ghazal). The place is just perfect if tou want to celebrate withh tour family. We prefered to dine outside and enjoyed the late evening with some diced chicken chilly that came in no time and it was just finely cooked and tossed as expected.
In the main course we tried Aloo Kulcha and chicken biryani with accompaniments. All cooked to perfection, chicken was too soft and melted in the mouth.

Our favorite restaurant in Chembur that delivers upto Ghatkopar. Golden Lawn serves some of the best Pahadi Kebab, Chicken Tikka, Sabzi Shaam Savera, Afghani Sabzi, Roghan Josh! The quantities are decent for 3 people to eat their fill. They have live Ghazal every evening and is has outdoor seating. However the traffic noises are a damper! Don't forget to try the roomali roti with everything else that I mentioned!

Talking about the food, we ordered quite lot. The best dishes were paneer Tikka, babycorn mushroom and lahori paneer. Seekh kabab was average. Overall the food was decent ( 3/5).

This is probably one of my favorite restaurant in mumbai. Their chinese, esp Chinese chopsuey, noodle and exotic veg gravy is amazing, even chicken pot rice was very good. Had a sumptuous lunch on a friend's birthday. Started with Chicken Masala Tawa Fry and Paneer Pahadi. The chicken was delicious but it does not beat the Paneer Pahadi which still makes my mouth water. We ordered Chinese and our table looked ravishing when the order was brought in. Chinese Chicken Fried Rice, Burnt Chilly Noodles (Chicken), Burnt Chilly Garlic Noodles (Veg.), Chicken in Oyster Sauce and Veg. Manchurian filled our table. The ambiance was good and the waiters did a great job. But we realized that the night ambiance would have been much better in the lawn/terrace arrangement which the restro provides. Overall, the experience was mind blowing but if you can bear it with a tiny pinch from your pocket.
Went yesterday... Read the reviews from zomato and hence decided to be here.. but unfortunately a bad decision. The platter that was ordered wasnt upto the mark as expected. The kabab was bland. Then was the turn for main course. We ordered roti and roomali roti and some fish curry.. The fish curry was just some watery masala and two pieces of fish... and to top it was the bill they charged us with. Coming to the ambience.. it was good but the live music was somewhere irritating.

One of the most under rated fine dine restaurants in Chembur. Recently the place has been revamped and has been made very well. The overall look of the place is classy. You have a huge outside seating area with a bar. There is a huge TV out there for live telecast of sports events. They even have live music on weekends. The Ac section is also well made.
We started with a Gin and Tonic and some whisky. We took the cheese chilly toast which was yummy. Also tried the Chicken Afghani kebab which was served in a fancy manner and tasted delicious. The Biryani was decent and filling. Another amazing item was the Sizzling Brownie which was just perfect. Staff is attentive and courteous. Service is also really good. They also have a paan wala in the restaurant premises. Prices are on the higher side. The upper section is well made and can be used as a banquet. Overall a pleasant experience and a nice place for a fine dine meal with family.

We came across Golden lawn accidentally, when we were looking for a good place to eat little late at night. It was long back, but this one experience at this place ensured we came back here when ever possible. The Food, Ambiance, Service, etc has been very good, and it remains one of the best fine-dine restaurants in Chembur.
The place is located opposite Fine arts society Chembur, and is easy to locate. They offer good seating arrangements in the AC hall as well as in the Open-air lawn. While AC section is good, there open air section has live Ghazal performance through out the evening. Recently revamped, they have improved a lot upon the interiors and seating scheme.
The menu card offers a variety of offerings in Indian/Chinese and some continental fare. (the menu card featured here is an old one, meant for home delivery). But the clear winner in there Punjabi menu. Be it Vegetarian or Chicken or the red meat, Tandoori and Punjabi food stands out. The accompaniments like, Roti/Naan/Raita/ Others go very well with the main course.
Service has been good, though it can always be improved. But we have no complaints.
In fact another pleasant experience we had last time when we were here. Recently my parents visited Mumbai and they have been fond of Golden lawn for a long time. Last time when they came to Mumbai this place was under renovation. So this time when my father complimented them about the renovation work done here, the manager and a staff personally took my parents and showed them the entire place, the new party hall, and other renovated areas.
So another reason for me to like this place even more.
I think this is one of the places, which will always remain in my good books.
BTW- they used to have game machine, which my kids loved a lot. It was not working since last couple of times. Please bring it back.

Golden Lawn was one of the first restaurants in Chembur to host a lovely outdoor ambience. I still remember the lovely fish tank and the outdoor decor they had during my school days.
They still have good ambience but I expected a lot more. You can't stay stagnant for a decade.
I visited the place again after a decade. The food quality has gone down although I still like their colourful presentation of food.
We tried the Sweet Corn Soup which was not up to the mark. The Paneer Makhanwala was fairly good but lacked the smokey, creamy taste it once had. The Mutton Bhuna was delicious and thankfully we were saved from a disappointment.
It's important not to serve food that's not stored in a refrigerator. Chembur unfortunately has many restaurants that serve rubbery Chicken that's stored in a fridge. I got the same taste here when we tried Chicken Kebab.
The Naans were good but they lack consistency. You cant serve three soft and juicy Naans followed by 2 rock-like Naans.
A big meal for three with Coke would cost you 2000 bucks.

There's nothing really special to say about this restaurant other than it has the best coriander soup I've had. It's called the Imperial Coriander. Rest, this place is an average family dine-in restaurant. The service is good and the ambience is calm. The place is shockingly quiet and peaceful, considering its location. The menu offers a fine range of options.

As a youngster and student, I used to always dream about dining in this restaurant. That I will get an opportunity in this way was a surprise. I was very apprehensive on having lunch over here. Partly due to the reviews and overall ratings on Zomato and party the fear of the unknown as to what to expect here.
But everything got washed away once we sat in and started with our lunch. There are three separate seating with I think the indoor active during lunch. But the place must be truly coming on its own during evening. Anyway that is for another day.
The inside seating is a class apart. Fine dining at affordable price. Ample seating inside, ample parking too. Seating may appear limited at first, but that way service is good because of the limited number of tables. Menu is large and covers all kinds of food items. In Starters we ordered tandoor platter. We went for two types of Mojitos and for the main course we ordered a chicken curry and chinese dishes. Since we were in a group, no problem with the waiting, but food is good and for the items we had ordered, they came on time.
With the wide array of dishes on the menu, the food was prepared well, not too spicy and not too bland. Chinese dishes are especially good. For dessert, good chocolate based options are available. Nice portions too for a group of three to four.
The only problem which I found for this place is that, if they have modeled after fine dining or similar concept, the presence of waiters should not be overwhelming and the customers need to be given some privacy to have their meals. Where just one of two waiters could have been suffice, there was a team of waiters milling around. But thats just a minor issue. Overall experience was good and I enjoyed having a meal at a place which I always used to admire in my childhood days.

The starters with Vasa was little dissapointing but there Surmai was absolutely brilliant which we had with butter naan. After series of disappointment this restaurant was like a ray of hope in Chembur!

It was there on my 'restaurants to visit list' since quite a long time. Finally visited this place on a sunday evening for dinner. Being a sudden plan on a sunday, we thought there would be too much of waiting but to our surprise there was none...we were happily welcomed and seated just as we reached. Talking about the place...it has been divided into 3 portions...it has an open party space on one side, in centre it has a proper a/c seating area and on the other side it has an open restaurant with live gazals playing in the background as well as screening of ipl matches! We chose to sit in the open restaurant...since it was a pleasant n breezy evening. Coming to the food...being jain we were a bit skeptical about the taste of jain food there...since its a veg/non-veg restaurant so we dint go for a much experiement and opt for their north indian dishes with a few dos n dont's specifications and to our surprise they were made just perfectly....neither too oily nor too spicy or sweet... ☆☆ for dat! Also its very reasonable....so overall its a good family restaurant with good food n pleasant ambience...(recommended for gazal fans) :)

Golden lawn has been an old favourite for Chemburites and after the new renovation it looks absolutely amazing.... I had the cream of chicken in soups and it was good. The paya soup was very good. In starters we had the hara bars kebab , chicken 65 and lucknowi chicken and it was worth having. In the main course we went for the hot garlic pot rice which was the best . The place is excellent and we really enjoy . I highly recommend it . :-)

Tried Veg Thupa Soup - Would rate in 5/5 Followed by Paneer starters, Paneer was really tender and well marinated. Try Pahadi Paneer if you live green gravy.
Butter Chicken is must try over here, Absolutely loved the taste.
Paneer Biryani was also great asked the chef to make it less spicy and it was cooked to perfection.
All in all a hidden Gem in Chembur

We happen to attend a Birthday function here two days back in the outside area.
The area was nicely maintained, clean and well decorated.
Food was also top class with special mention to that lip smacking mutton curry.

Great food and service. Prime location too. Vallet parking is available here. You can come here for some live music in the evenings or even have your special occasions celebrated here.
We went there to celebrate our uncle's 50th birthday. Thankfully they allowed to us to decorate the table with flowers and candles.
The place is nice and the ambience is subtle. They also have live Gazal program in the outdoor seating area.
We were almost 10-12 people and I must say they managed quite well inspite of this. Food was good and on time. The quantity as well is satisfactory. If you are looking for fine dine with soft music then it is definitely a must try.
The only problem one might face is 4 wheeler parking.

Service is good and staff is friendly.

They have seating capacity of 84 guests in the lawn and 51 seatings in AC hall.
Budget wise it is a good option and for 13-14 of us overall price was 7500/-.
Washrooms are available seperately for Men as well as Ladies but can be used by a Single person at a time.
Overall 5 stars and one visit is definitely recommended.
Quite good ambience with good staff and management. charged us double for our visit on new year day but it is fine for now.

This restaurant located on the road towards Fine Arts, Chembur is indeed a golden gem when it comes to quality of food, quantity, service, hygiene, ambience and absolute value for your hard earned money.
I have been visiting here since last 10 years and let me tell you the evening outdoor setting with open roof top and live Ghazal nights were just miraculous. The musician who used to play tabla and sing all at once was a real seasoned artist. There were sitarist and harmoniam players to accompany him to elevate your dining experience to next level with their soulful music.
The staff is polite and helpful and every single dish on the menu is high of taste and flavour

Non- veg: Murg musallam is too good! We tried starters - Chicken Afgani and chicken Angaara, they tasted good, perfectly cooked chicken.

It's a fine dine restauramt for family and friends. Theur hospitality is so good. And so is their food but i didn't like sabji which i ordered. We chose to order north indian and honey chilli potatoes in starter. I loved honey chilli potatoes.
