During this Covid 19 Lockdown, my family has been ordering from this place. The Masala Dosa, Idli Sambar & Chutney, paneer items on a regular basis we have enjoyed and were delighted at the way they packed the items so neatly done

Where it was difficult to find a place for lunch, this place was open for dine in. We had pav bhaji and rawa masala dosa. The taste was good. The restaurant was also maintained and utmost care was taken in sanitizing and maintaining distances.
I live this place because it’s pure veg & going to pure veg restaurant is the first priority when I go out with my family.
This place makes it's own pav so must try something which includes pav in it, although this place doesn't have great ambience but the dishes are worth the price.

A great place for dinners located in Sakinaka . It's one of the best vegetarian serving hotel in the locality. Totally loved the food and the service.
Sudarshan is quite an old and established hotel, with hands on serving delicious and typical south Indian food. They have also incorporated other cuisines as well in their menu.
Visited here on a busy Sunday for dinner , not to my surprise, the restaurant was jam packed.
And it mostly is like this, huge seating rows filled with people, several waiters for serving food, chilled ambiance, and customers enjoying their food !!!
Their service is quick with polite staff.
Their prices are pretty decent, and the food that you get under this price is really good ! 💯

If a fond of veg dishes then this is the place I'll prefer for. This outlet is located near Sakinaka Metro Station. The time suitable for visiting this place is in the morning or for dinner times. Or u can order brunch from the outlet.
The dish which I would recommend will be the jeera rice and the pulav with some panner gravy. It will be worth the value of ur money.
If ur visiting during snacks time u can have pav bhaji the most loved food by everyone. It's also very famous for south Indian dishes specially dosa and vada. The service and the ambience was pretty good. Best place to go with family.

Sudarshan Veg restaurant is located at Sakinaka Junction, Andheri East towards kurla. This is a casual family restaurant where one can enjoy South Indian, Fast Food, North Indian and Chinese Cuisine. A basic ambience with limited indoor seating arrangement. service is quick and alert. They don’t accept card whose bill amount is below 400.
One of the perfect 'family resturants' I have been with my fam here a few times and totally in love with the food! My mom loves the green chutney here and the dal khichdi! Other Indian dishes are also really tasty and totally worth it in terms of quality and quantity!
If you want to try something vegetarian and you are in Saki Naka I recommend you to try Sudarshan. Sudarshan is a south Indian restaurant that undoubtedly serves the best south Indian food in this vicinity. You should try their dosas, vadas and idlis. Even their thalis and pav bhaji tastes great. But what I recommend the most here is their neer dosa which also comes with a jaggery and coconut mixture besides the sambhar and chutney. They also serve the best coffee, tea and buttermilk.
The only way to order from Sudarshan if via Zomato. If you call them up, they flat out refuse to deliver anywhere in Marol. With a severe shortage of good udipi restaurants in and around Marol, this one is a saving grace. Reasonably priced and tasty South indian fare. I've tried their Dosa, Idli, Vada and Sabudana Vada so far and they've been satisying price and quantity wise. A bit cold on arrival always, but nothing a hot tawa or microwave can't fix. Recommended!
You get good breakfast options here. The taste of typical south Indian chutneys is found here. I have been here only once but I really enjoyed it. I don't know about their other cuisine as u have never tried it. But sour Indian breakfast; dosa and medu vada that I had were really good.

I liked all the dishes but pav bhaji was excellent curry was nice and thanks for adding butter with that pav bhaji become more tasty and that different type of thali is also good.
Sudarshan veg restaurant😍, it is pure veg restaurant as name suggested itself. Not only for veg it's gives lots of veg variety of food, south Indian,falooda, pizza, thali almost everything. Food was very tasty and also good in quantity and quality.💞💯 If I am talking about ambiance then it is also good with great service.staff are also very friendly💯. I am going there from more than 35 years.The taste is the same as it used to be 35 years back.the staff are also very friendly and the quality of food is excellent.the ambience is also very good.

And fruit salad with ice cream and jelly Taste is so good especially fruit salad with ice cream and jelly... Can't wait to go again there... Even though the place might look shabby they serve GOOD and INEXPENSIVE food. It must be tried by food lovers. Be rest assured and visit the place. I am regular to this tiny joint on Khairani road, trust me it is awesome for Dal Ghost Desi style chicken chili and tandoori rotis are awesome. Vada Sambar is just perfectly crisp and tasty. Nothing can challenge it's freshness and authenticity. It's our weekly breakfast menu. Idlis are good too followed by potato vada

We ordered misal, idli and rava sada dosa and it was nice. This place is an affordable little joint for your usual food items. The service is fast and the place is clean.
My preferred place for lunch in the afternoon. Pav bhaji and dosas are excellent. Punjabi thali is my favorite. Staff is good and you always get value for money.
A great place to take your family. Couldn't click more pics of the food I ordered but worth going. A very quick and delightful service as well as the staff is very well behaved how to keep interacting with the customers. Just a thing on weekends do visit a bit early or book table in advance as there is a huge crowd outside all the time.

If you're in Sakinaka and looking for decent pure veg restaurant then this is one of them. They serve Chinese too. I had Paneer Crispy in starters and Paneer Makhanwala with Garlic Naan. The taste was good. And also it's not that expensive. You can try it out. I heard they serve delicious dosas, will try next time for sure
This was our go-to place during office days! Quick service, good quality food and reasonable rates made this our favorite place for lunch. Usually ordered for Masala Pav or Rava Sada Dosa but have also tried their Thalis. The Thalis are worth the price and sufficient for 2 people with average appetite. An extra plate of Puris with the Thali would be required though.

A good Landmark hotel. The dishes were tasty and the staff politely managed the crowd. We ordered a Punjabi Thalia which came along with a host of curries, salad, papad, a plate of jeera rice and five poori. We relished everything as it not too spicy and the taste was comfortable to our palates. Also had a tall glass of royal falooda while hubby gulped down a yummy glass of Lassi. We left off happy and as satisfied customers.

This restaurant is right next to Sakinaka junction. I was traveling for work and visited this place twice. The food was fresh and pretty good taste wise. The staff is really courteous and served with a smile. They also suggested food options, which I really appreciated. All in all, a great place for grabbing a quick bite or meal.

Sambhar tasted really good
To get into the main gate is bit tricky, but once done, they have valet parking. The place is always crowded, as the food is good and reasonable. But the sitting arrangement is pretty tight, you can’t sit comfortably. Each table is for 4 people to sit, but for 4 adults, you have to struggle a bit to sit and eat. We ordered poori South Indian thaali and it was pretty good. And the service is pretty quick.

The place usually remains crowded with families. That makes it a jolly place. Just that the place is pretty small with little or no big space between the tables. I had order Chapati and Chole. Wheelchair accessible entrance available here.
One of the busiest resto in sakinaka .. post COVID there has been a lot of resto-cattering Chinese or briyani however Sudarshan is one of the oldest serving authentic Indian food ..we all keep trying new restaurants displaying menus with exotic dishes . Sudarshan kept a simple variety of Indian food with a good taste .. we got here a little late around 4:30 so we couldn't enjoy the tandoor however they served us with butter Roti. Ambience 5 star Food 5star service is good but they are always in hurry

A clean hiegenic affordable pure veg restaurant at Sakinaka crossing. They serve both north Indian and south Indian cuisines. They have a desert section where they sell ice cream and pastries other than Indian sweets which is in menu card. The taste and quality of food resembles home cooked food. It is not a place for having party but to satisfy your hunger it is a good choice. The restaurant is very clean and they serve very fast. The cost per head won't be more than 200-250 rupees per person. We took a north Indian thali costed 230 rupees, ate by two.
