I dont have all the pictures . But we had hukkah which was made so well. The flavour was just so perfect . We ordered for a pizza that was rightly baked and beautifully presented. The soft and fresh paneer starter was a medium spicy one but every bite had a taste of its own. For main course we had a panner & chicken gravy . The butter chicken is a must try. The soft rotis served along were nice as well. The dessert actually stole my heart . A medium cake size which had chocolate oozing out once broken was so yummy not to sweet and extra heavy at all . Service was really good even though it was a weekend and the place was almost full. To top it all it was a rooftop restaurant with a live music band . Couldn't ask for a better weekend meal.
Chill out... Just relax and enjoy the time with your friends, better halves. Great ambience. They have live music nights many a times. As far as the Ambience goes, they have scored the points everywhere. Staff is polite haven't faced any rude behavior from anyone we dealt with. Food is something they will have to put some more efforts at. The serving timings are too long, the quality can be improved, new different dishes should be spoken about by the team. I'm giving this feedback on the food as its nowhere close to the ambience scores.

The ambience definitely "lights" up your evening! An outdoor themed place with the option of sitting in a "smoking" or "non-smoking" zone! They were screening IPL which was an added bonus.
We ordered the butter chicken, which was good in quality but short on taste. It was neither sweet nor spicy, somewhere in between. It was rich no doubt, but missed out on that zest!
The waiter serving us was overly enthusiastic, a small turn off! Breezers - just one option of Jamaican...
If you can't stand the smell or smoke of hukka, you may not want to visit, there's never a table without one!
We went on a Saturday night, 9 pm, booked a table but not needed...however by the time we left, the place was packed. So if your dropping by late, book a table!
Vallet parking - only for cars...which should be mentioned on the site...the guy at the front desk has quite an attitude problem related to this!!

I have always said there isn't anything more important than good sunglasses & chilled ice tea in the summers.
But now add these things to Mediterra while puffing on a smooth mint sheesha. And it all forms into a breezy terrace restaurant on Hill road, set with a mediterranean feel and live singing just adds to it's charm.

Always fun to get here for hookah and food and amazing. Not the usual norm to find a place with good food accompanied with hookah and the ambience, this one definitely cuts the bill. The staff is responsive and makes sure for a reasonably good experience.
We had gone there for Valentines day evening.. the ambiance of the place is good.. Ir is an Open air restaurant. It being valentines, they had live music (Singing) scheduled for entertainment.
You get Sheeshas there - almost everyone comes there for the sheesha (can't comment on the quality as we didn't try one).
We tried a couple of mocktails and icetea. the blue one was nice whereas the mint (something) was not that great. the iced tea was ok.
We had 2 starters - honey chilly potatoes which was nice. the double decker mushroom was not that great.
The blueberry cheescake too was nice.
Will we go there again - yes would like to try the non-veg fare that they have there.
The staff is attentive and polite.

Those of you who are Bandraites or if you frequently visit Bandra for hangouts with friends and family already know of the diminishing quaint and comfortable lounges or corners where you can enjoy the chats and just laze around with good food and company. I recently discovered this beautiful lounge called Mediterra which is located on a hot corner bang opposite Marks & Spencer on Hill Road in Bandra West. Other than the amazing location, it is also very spacious and they have options for both ac seating area and open area seating.
It's a perfect place to enjoy sheesha on a rooftop. The ambience of the place is decent and the service is quick. We had ordered humus and pita, Basil garlic paneer and double complex mushrooms were to die for. Paneer malai sheek kebab were too sweet spot we didn't really like it but even the shwenzane rice, Thai curry and balck dal were amazing. They had live singer who was singing and he was just too good. Overall a good place with descent ambience and not very expensive.

Have visited Mediterra for the Hummus Festival. The food is really good here... Tried a lot of dishes as below:
From the Hummus Menu tried the GARLIC HUMMUS and SOUTHERN MEDITERRANEAN GRILLED PRAWNS. The garlic hummus was a delight, but the the prawns were amazing. They were perfectly grilled with Harissa sauce.

A great place in Bandra on hill road opposite to Marks and Spencer hotel! I was surprised that it has more than a year and I didn't know it existed.
Being on a terrace it takes away the brownie points along with Sheesha being served too!
It was swarmed with crowds even on the weekday. The food is great too. There as a live band late evening and the place was buzzing. I will be writing the detailed review on my blog.
Although, the service is quite slow and they could revamp the place with some nice interiors!
Ambiance was great Food was literally what you call finger licking good we had Hummus with Pita bread and Crumbled Fish and Spaghetti in Alfredo sauce with prawns đđ. Visited this place for dinner on a week day. It is located right above Barbeque Nation on Hill Road. They have an open rooftop area which is great for an evening chat with friends. The overall ambience of this place is good.
The food served had good taste with a unique flavours. We tried their mezze platter, honey chilli potato, murg dildar kebab and fungi Turkish flat bread. The mezze platter and fungi Turkish flat bread are a must try. The kebabs had an amazing stuffing inside them unlike the regular ones. We would rate this place a 4/5 in terms of taste. But the service was very sloppy, which would have been better.
Located right above Barbeque Nation in Hill Road, I fell in love with the white and blue hues of the place. An open-air space, comfortable seating, yellow lights complete the ambience.
We ordered the watermelon and feta salad - it was well-served with the watemelon on one side, but the portion size was too small. Their hummus and pita bread was quite exquisite. The pita bread came in poori-like shape and is something I haven't seen elsewhere.
The paneer tikka was rather dry and slightly over done to my taste. Their sangria too was a little on the sweeter side. They serve sheesha as well.
Service was okay - nothing to rave or rant about.
As it's name suggests, this place is supposed to have a Mediterranean feel to it. However, I couldn't see the Mykonos or Santorini they'd probably want me to see through their decor. Something is off about the lighting and confused choice of the colour theme they want to follow. Blue interiors for the AC section and yellow for the rooftop. However, I could sit at this place for hours and forget about the "wannabe Mediterranean" ambience with the live music. The artist tunes you into the all time famous Amit Trivedi and Atif Aslam kind of songs. Food was average and I ordered a bottle sula Riesling which I was charged Rs2000/- for (way too exp for domestic wine).
But when you're looking for sheesha and some soulful live music you could always consider this place as an addition to 24, uturn and sheesha lounge in the bandra area.

I thought a lot about it and then decided on 3.5 rating, If it was on basis of service they deserve 0 but overall place is good keeping service aside. Visited Mediterra as a part of chefs basket hummus festival and tried few dishes from the menu. Restaurant is located opposite to Globas mall,hill road. It is located on first floor and divided into two sections. First air conditioned zone is right at the entrance with good seating capacity and second is open roof zone, which is again quite capacious. We choose open roof area as wanted to try Hookah. Open roof zone is nice place specially in winter,ambience is nice with blue and white colors,seating is comfortable.
Staff Service :- Â One of the worst service encountered. Staff are arrogant,rude,not interested and not available. This attitude doesn't work in hospitality industry. I hope owner reads my review and make some changes in service. He/her is the one who is losing out on business ultimately. No one tolerates such service.
Sheesha :-
I Tried double apple flavour and hookah was smooth,strong as requested by me. However, after a while there was no one from the staff to change coal ( it should be done at regular interval )and I gave up on hookah because without coal change it effects your throat. Ambience is so appealing, a prefect place to have hookah but such a service is not acceptable.

1.Roasted Garlic Hummus with Pita --- Â Â Loved it to the core,pita and hummus both were delicious. Hummus quality was superb just the Quantity was very less.
2.Tangadi Mumtaz :- Â Quantity was this one was huge. Minced chicken stuffed coated with egg was decent in taste.
3.Chicken Shawarma :- Â Chicken wrapped in pita bread was tasty.

One of the most chill places in Bandra! A great rooftop seating with pretty lights, the restaurant is the perfect place for a relaxed evening. Try the sheesha, it is pretty good. Try the veg platter, the duplex mushrooms for the vegetarians and the murg Rajasthan and murg Patiala for the rest! Don't forget their special wood fired pizzas! End the meal with the yummy choco lava cake. Oh and don't forget the cocktails!

Recently visited Mediterra on a weekday. While most of the places in Bandra are empty on weekdays, Mediterra flaunted a packed house with a chill blue orange white Mediterranean ambiance. The bulbs that routed across the restaurant look very pretty and a vibrant flavor to the restaurant.Â
The food is mainly global. They have a good variety of medi, italian, indian and conti cuisines. While the food is good and satisfactory, i really loved the sheesha! Really loved the SHEESHA! I feel this is one of the best sheesha's you get in Bandra! The sheesha is not expensive and the quality and service is super!Â
Coming to the bar, the alcohol is very reasonably priced. The variety of brands is on point and one will get what they order.Â
The service is good and the staff is friendly.Â
Overall, i am definitely visiting again!
This is a new place at bandra. The ambience is really pretty with some good music being played. There are 2 sections for dining and Hookah. Found it on the higher range in terms of price. If you are a meat lover, definitely visit. Recommended mainly for families, colleagues. Washrooms are well maintained. Service is slow.

A rainy sunday... And we friends planned to meet up for dinner. Since this place was owend by my friend's friend, so she suggested to meet uo here. We all reached around 9 pm. Got a very nice table on the open terrace. Awesone ambience, Good Interiors (can be more creative), So Spacious, and prompt topnotch service. A MUST GO... I STRONGLY RECOMMEND!
The best part about here is the open terrace serves sheesha.. Good and bevarages together, unlike other places.
We tried Pan Rasna and Double apple mint sheesha... Worth ... So smooth.. Long lasting flavours. Next time I shall try one of the fruit sheesha's.
We called for a Sula red wine, breakfast martini and Bloody Mary. Again very well made... Too good. In starters we jus called for "Middle Eastern Chicken Kebabs" - have to tell... Nice juicy soft chickens.. With a pita bread and small portion of flavoured rice... And excellet, yummy it was. And another freind of mine called for "Creama Di Cavalo Romano Con Pollo e timo"- that is Broccoli and chicken soup with thyme and cream.... This was jus tooo yummmmmmmmm... .
Main course we tried "Lebanese Roast Chicken with Ooze Rice"- which is wood fried half skin chicken on bed of lamb minced rice, reading this only I was slurping... And it turned out more slurpy wen they served us. Perfectly cooked , soft, juicy chicken... And minced lamb rice was again awesome.
Jus one minus was that wen the food was served... The cutleries were kept on the table next to the plate. I wud suggest to keep on a table mat or jus roll it over a tissue and keep it, considering the hygiene!

We were three of us who went on a WOW tables reservation... it was a pre set menu and we were truly grateful for that because it helped us try some of their BEST dishes
For starters we had the Creama Di Cavolo Romano Con Pollo E Timo , Bouillabaisse and the Chicken Caesar Salad.
Both the soups were full of flavour.
The Bouillabaisse is a sea food lover's delight!!! Full of squid rings, shrimp, fish bits and a mussel!!
The Chicken Caesar salad had a lovely crunch to it and was not too heavyily drenched with dressing
Appetisers were:
Middle Eastern Chicken Kebabs - had a lovely smoked flavour and was mildly spicy
Crumbled Fish - the flavour of the parmesan did not stand out, but all in all was a good dish
Adana Kebab - thankfully they use LAMB as mentioned and not SHEEP. Spiced perfectly these kebabs truly melt in your mouth
To be honest, because of the amazing portions they offer, we were a bit full after the appetizers, but thankfully because Mediterra cooks their food fresh, service takes a good 10 - 12 mins which you are informed about and thus you get some time to digest your earlier course
Mains were:
Pollo Ala Valdastana - The spagetti was def too hard to be al dente. It felt like it was a bit undercooked, but the chicken breast stuffed with cheese and chicken mince, more than made up for that.
Samak Harrah Al Sahara - the pieces of fish served were a bit too thin and plain. I would definitely not recommend this dish at all
To end this wonderful meal we had the Hot Lava Lava which is basically a chocolate lava cake served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce... this again is freshly baked and thus is served hot and leaves you licking the sauce till the very end
Hopefully Mediterra maintains their good portions and the food stays consistent..because I cannot wait to make another reservation soon.

Mediterra is the latest addition to Bandra's vast list of restaurants. However, there are two major advantages this restaurant has: first, it's a rooftop eating place in Bandra, which makes it great for couples. Second, it's part of the Sayaji Group (the same people who run Barbeque Nation) and therefore, will survive despite the ever-increasing demand of the Mumbai foodie.
We went on a Friday evening, but were surprised to find a pretty empty restaurant. In fact, for the first half an hour, we were the only guests present. The manager said that the restaurant had opened only a few weeks ago, so business had not yet picked up. He, however, assured us that the food was good and we took his word for it.
We started our dinner with two starters: a char-grilled mushroom and a fried fish. The mushrooms were good, but the fish was outstanding. It was cooked well and melted in the mouth. The best bit: it had no bones and therefore, wasn't too much of a problem to eat. We were also given a complementary bread basket along with numerous dips including hummus. For main course, we split a baked salmon with rice and gravy. While the fish was good, the rice was an unnecessary addition. The dessert, a lava cave, needed more cooking as the taste and the smell of egg was still present. We would definitely make another trip to the restaurant, but order based on gut rather than recommendations.

Summary: Mediterranean cuisine smack bang on Bandra's Hill Road, an open gazebo seating on the terrace, makes it a bit too hot in May even with air chillers around you. Run by Indore's famous Sayaji Hospitality Group, you get Prompt service, some bold "hidden" menu jewels in a the hands of a young North Indian chef. Staff are recommended to know what the dishes have, I found them strangely going to the kitchen to check. But do Try Medittera folks .
Mediterra struggles to create a name not for its tasteful cuisine or prompt interactive service , but simply the fact that Hill Road residents prefer the Italian or Desi Khana more. Even after reaching the restaurant by 1330, only one table of the 7Â was occupied. Blue mosaic tile chips, white chairs with cushions, blue and orange colours on the walls & rustic blue street paintings give me Santorini Blues. Today's Wow Tables reserved lunch experience is a four course meal. The Salatah Lubnaniya Al Dijaj (8.5/10) is a simple 4 ingredient salad. The cherry tomatoes,diced cucumber, chilled lettuce & shredded chicken in a Moroccan marinade with lemon juice. Surprised me with its clean bite sized flavours. The appetiser was more a main meal itself. Middle Eastern Chicken Kebabs (9/10), 6-7 char grilled meat pieces in a peppery cumin marinade, a subtle tangy tomato pilaf, smokey midly sweet harissa dip that I shamelessly ask for another serving, ring onions ( needs some lemon to give it more acidity) and two tiny pieces of Zaatar bread. The main course was cottage cheese steak..2 big pieces of cheese grilled with chilly flakes & sundried tomatoes served with a light bland herb parsley rice, grilled bell peppers & courgettes topped with a red sauce that I find had tomato ketchup to give its sharp sweetness. The steaks were paneer, I suggest haloumi cheese instead, still a hearty meal. Dessert was a creme saffron pudding (9/10) with gooey nectar syrup & few strands of saffron floating on the plate. The pudding was a hearty English type, the egg taste strong but good for me. By 1445 the service is over, I'm sweating a bit in the hot dry heat despite the chillers around me. The staff take my name & number in a book.. Perhaps a Zomato review holiday in Corsica is in wait..as Deepika says "what happens in Corsica stays in Corsica !!!!
Amazing place and amazing food. It has a very calm ambiance and the service is good too. If you are ever around. Definitely visit this place.
The service was topnotch. I would definitely go there again when the opportunity arises. We had an annoying and noisy toddler with us, but the management was very understanding and even offered to keep her occupied while we enjoyed our meal. They even comp'd her beverages. The complementary bread baskets with assorted dips were so scrumptious. Kudos to the lovely ambience as well. We hit the jackpot with the drinks ( I had a Mai Tai), but when it comes to the mains, they could do much better. Since the place is relatively new, there's no crowd, so I suggest you check it out and enjoy a romantic evening with your loved ones.

An excellent touch was the bread basket. It contained pita , lavash and focaccia  and 4 dips (hummus , babaganoush ,olives and sundried tomatoes).Â
This was the best compimentary bread basket i have been served .Â

Situated opposite just above Barbeque Nation on Hill Road. It's a cute little rooftop restaurant. The AC area just had a couple of coolers and was covered on top in a tent like manner.
The place serves a variety of cuisines like Greek, Italian, Spanish etc. When you are seated they give you a complimentary bread basket with four different types of dips.
The food quality and the quantity is perfect and filling. It was scrumptious and a delight to eat. I was definitely not disappointed.
It's a beautiful place and should be visited.

Wow is the only thing I can say. What a lovely place. Great staff too. It's a total date place with superb twisted cocktails. And awesome food. Love it been here 3 times in less than a month.

Good Ambience, Good service. Range of food available is good and does justice to the theme- Mediterranean. My friends and I were very happy with the service quality and food options etc. We had Mojito, Starters, Risotto, Pasta, Pizza, Desserts of many varieties and all of them were well done and nicely served. There was no delay anywhere. Staff is well trained and courteous. There is valet parking- very important in a location like Hill Road.

Happy to be a Bandraite and experience new dining places to review. Yes, Mediterra is the new entrant in the fine dining restaurant category. Situated opposite Marks & Spencer on Hill Road in Hotel Metro Plaza. Its a rooftop restaurant having outdoor and indoor seating space.
Ambience- The ambience is lovely with itâs white washed walls, turquoise interior and mood lighting. It has neat tables and cushion back chairs. I was excited and all set to savour some Mediterranean cuisine.
The complementary bread basket came with an assortment of dips and herbed butter. For starters I recommend the Crumbled Fish. This was Basa crumb fried. It was a constact of texture, crusty from outside and soft and well cooked from the inside. I loved it.
The other starter we had that day was Chicken Shish Taouk. Well cooked and smokey but a bit unseasoned for my liking.
For Mains we had the super hero of a dish ie Lebanese oast chicken with ooze rice. I liked the presentation of this dish, quite colourful. This was half skin chicken which was wood fired and served on a bed of lanb minced rice with butter sauted veggies. Lip smacking and yummy.
The chicken Palermo thin crust pizza was enjoyable and not so chewy.
But they always say save the best for last and indeed the Hot Lava lava cannot be missed. Infact its something I will come back for. A hot lava cake drenched in smooth chocolate sauce and topped with vanilla ice cream. A perfect way to end a lovely meal.
Psst Psst- A romantic place for couples. You will find many cosy corners. Some slow great music to hum too.

Dotting the lines of Bandra skyline comes yet another rooftop restaurant, with some rather swanky ambiance. Mediterra is your place to be for a perfect date or to celebrate some quality time with your loved ones. Of the food that you need to try here, definitely have their pizzas and the bread platter with hummus.
One thing that sets Mediterra's level a notch above would be their stellar desserts.
The "Baklawa","Choco Lava Lava cake" are something that you'll come back here again and again for!

On of the latest additions to the Bandra food circuit is Mediterra
We went there on a Friday night.
We chose to sit in the open air roof top area.
We ordered the Moroccan Harirra soup.
I did not like the outcome.The blend of flavours just did not work for me.
So then I decided to order Caribbean sunset mocktail which was a good surprise after the disappointing soup.
In the starters we ordered the
Falafel wrap veg- which was good when it came to the taste however did not have the authenticity of the falafels
Chicken pizza- who doesn't love pizza .Loaded with cheese , however I would have loved more chicken pieces.
Middle eastern chicken kabab- this dish lifted my spirits a little.
The flavour was spot on and the chicken was tender.
Crumbled Fish - the fish again was perfectly cooked. The crumbled outer coating was perfectly crispy.
Southern Mediterranean grilled prawns - the prawns had the authentic Mediterranean flavour and were grilled to perfection.
In the Main course we had the
Moroccan Chicken with garlic mash- here the chicken was the star of the dish as it had to be , but another important component which is the garlic mash was not upto the mark.
Pollo-Ala-Valdastana - this was truly an amazing dish and one of the star dishes of the night for me.
Then we moved to the Desserts
Hot Lava Lava- if I could use one word for this I would say heaven .
As soon as we cut into it the chocolate just oozed out.
This is highly recommended for all chocolate lovers.
Baklava with Ice cream- another great dessert which even after an entire portion did not make us feel heavy.
All in all our experience was decent at this place.
However they can work on the taste and presentation of the dishes.

Romantic date is one of the things that will first come to your mind as you step in.
Outdoor seating with white and sky blue interiors gives you a feel of being seated at a shoreline. Blissful!
The service is very courteous and this is a statement I make after noticing the service across the tables. So CHEERS FOR THAT!
Coming to food, it is a mix of Mediterranean and Italian giving you a wide range of choices. So a plus one for this too.

Mezze palate: BANG ON! AMAZING! A basket of assorted breads served with six dips namely
€ Salsa - Crunchiness of the veggies and perfect seasoning is a win win for this

Make your own Pizza - AND THEY LITERALLY MEAN THAT. You can actually try your hand on making a pizza đ The most fun part of the evening. Otherwise you can choose your toppings and the pizza can be made for you.
Creama de Fungi - I am a big fan of soup made out of mushroom and cream and this one was good. CAN TRY!
Baklawa with Ice-cream- DROOL! YOU CAN'T COME BACK WITHOUT TRYING THIS! Definitely a must order.
Blushing Lady - OH MY! A mocktail that is very subtle none of the content over powering other, infact bringing the best out of each. MUST ORDER!

Jibnah kebab: 8-10 cubes of paneer tossed in mint+coconut+garlickey chutney! The paneer was soft,juicy and succulent!

Wholesome pockets of pita bread filled with hummus, soya kebabs and pickles! Loooveeeed it!
Now comes the main course:
Sort to say but the main course was a disappointed!
We had cottage cheese steak!
The rice was too salty, and the steak lacked salt! Unexpected but I was thoroughly disappointed!!

Desserts were like our savior for the evening after having a not so good main course!
I fell in love with the Baklava :
A rich, sweet pastry made of layers of filo filled with chopped nuts and sweetened and held together with syrup or honey. The very thought of it makes me drool!
The brownie with ice cream was nothing extraordinary!
Hot lava lava: Man - o Man everyone fell in love with it! I am short of words already and I'd highly recommend each and every one of you reading this review to go and try this sinful dark beauty served here!
Overall verdict:
Go here for the view and their desserts! A bit heavy on your pocket but this place is worth a 1-2 times visit!! :)

Hill Road has another new entrant in the form of Mediterra specializing in Mediterranean cuisine (no prizes for guessing that). Located opposite Globus mall and bang in front of Rude Lounge, lies this brand new establishment that promises to offer its patrons a wonderful mélange of unique dishes.
As a part of a bloggersâ meet, we were invited for sampling their creations. There is regular indoor seating and an al fresco space. The chilly winters enabled us we enjoy the latter format. The ambiance is warm and welcoming with the perfect blend of colors and light.
The table was set and the show was just ready to begin.
We were first served the cocktail, Blushing Lady â It was a tad too sweet for me and lacked the punch. Should have been more potent. The teetotalers were given Caribbean Sunset which was looking absolutely stunning.
With our drinks, we were given a bread basket â Grissini, Toasted Pita, Focaccia, soft rolls with an array of flawlessly delicious dips. Break, dip, eat repeat! Yes, go for this FOR SURE!
For us carnivores, we had the Moroccan Harirra which was essential a lamb and chickpea soup â The soup was average and I was not so comfortably with the grainy texture. Those who dig coarseness might like this. Also it has chickpeas! You have been warned.
Our next sampling consisted of Chicken Kebabs, Crumbled Fish, and Southern Mediterranean Grilled Prawns.
The chicken kebabs were too dry in my honest opinion. They should have been rubbed with more spices and should have been juicy.
The crumbled fish was deliciously soft and crusty. I loved munching on this aquatic delight. The herbs made it all the more flavorbomby!
Prawns are bae and my bae was beautifully coated with green harissa paste. I loved devoring the juicy spicy prawns.
Fellow bloggers also made their own pizzas. We had two fresh pizzas and I must say the VEG pizza outscored the NON VEG one which rarely happens when meat rests on top of sauces, dough and cheese.
The Falafel wrap was exceptionally good as per some fellow bloggers. I did not get a chance to sample this because well, what is great doesnât stay in plates for long.    Â
For our mains we had
Moroccan Chicken with Garlic Mash â They should really work on their chicken preparations. This was unacceptably dry and the mash couldnât save this dish from becoming a damp squib either.
Pollo-Ala-Valdastana â One of the winners from the evening! Gooey cheese and minced chicken stuffed inside chicken breast! I loved this cheesy delight. The mince chicken was such a winner and the cheese accentuated our experience. Served with fresh veggies, put this one on your to-eat list.
Coming to the item girls â the desserts!
Baklava â No Mediterranean meal can ever be complete with this flaky nutty delicacy. The Baklava was really nice. Served with cold creamy vanilla ice cream, four hands come from four directions and the plate was clean.
Brownie â Exactly the same as above except the food technicalities. Delish in every bite!
Hot Lava Lava â In unison, all of us declared this dish as the man of the tournament! Warm soft lava cake making peace with hot chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. This is a MUST HAVE! It is because of this dessert, I upped my ratings. We also requested a second helping of this. This time, the plate was wiped fasted than the earlier instant.
Overall, a good enough experience. They need to work on certain pointers like potent drinks and upping the ante as far as chicken preparation is considered. A few needed changes, and Mediterra can find itself a place in the best Mediterranean places in the city.
For the price you pay, the portion sizes are decent enough as far as mains are concerned. The starters are a little exorbitant imo. Desserts are love!
"Mediterra" is quite new and we decided to visit.
The decor is nicely done, the paintings compliment it well.
As soon as we were seated, we were served with a bread basket with various accompaniments.
Then we skipped directly to the main course and ordered the ravioli (Raviolini di spinaci funghi e erba cipollina)which was not very pleasant. Quite a long name for a dish.
Next we had the Quattro Fromaggio which was delicious.
They have a wood fire pizza oven.
To our surprise after asking for the bill we were graciously served two pieces of baklava, complimentary. The baklava was good.
The waiters are attentive and were very helpful.

It's really easy to walk by Mediterra without even realising it's there. I say this cause I've passed it numerous times and have just walked on by cause the small door that leads up to the restaurant is flanked by BBQ Nation on one side and Dr. Bubbles on the other.
Anyway once you do get there, there's a winding staircase that takes you to the restaurant which had both an inside and a terrace seating area. As the weather is currently quite pleasant we chose to sit outside and also cause the inside area was empty.
The restaurant is done up in the typical blue and white theme which is supposed to make you think of the Mediterranean region. A particular country or two maybe but the blue and white does not really speak for the region as a whole.
The menu is quite varied with dishes from Turkey, Greece, Egypt and Italy. I was hard pressed to find dishes from any of the other countries and that's probably cause the food can get quite similar in some parts.
We decided to have the adana kebab (an old favourite from when we visited Turkey) and the Fusilli Curry Pasta.
The adana kebab was wonderful. There were atleast 6 kebabs on a bed of rice, served with some pita bread. The meat of the kebabs was soft and tasty.
The fusilli curry pasta was not so good. It was just pasta in a creamy pesto sauce which tasted quite like the maggi masala noodles. I wonder if any tastemaker went in there. There was exactly 1 cherry tomato and 2 tiny pieces of broccoli in the pasta. I do wish they would've added a few more veggies like some baby corn, bell peppers, etc.
As it was closing time we did not order any dessert. Prices can be quite steep at first glance though the portions are more than adequate.
Mediterra is the latest entrant at Hotel Metro Palace. I do hope they stick around for longer than most of the others that have been here in the past.

Lovely experience. The staff right from the valet to the waiters and even the manager Abhay was very pleasant and treated us fantastically. The food was yummy and fresh. Will definitely visit this place again and also recommend it. The only disappointing thing was the restroom......and that's why I didn't give it a 5 /5.
Sunday eve means dinner plans. Saw this restaurant's ad and decided to try it.The ambience was superb here with roof top view. Food is on par and veg and non veg starter are of great taste, the staff is also courteous and friendly. Main course kabab and panner item are catch to the eyes.Non veg is specially awesome. Nice hotel by Sayaji group.

Mediterra was an unplanned afternoon lunch affair for me. After a shopping session across the street, hunger was at its peak and food on my mind. I happened to notice a new restaurant open on the upper floor of Barbecue Nation and being a foodie found an opportunity to explore more. I was quiet surprised with the complete look and feel of the place, reminded me of my time in Greece instantly. The food served was outstanding and so fresh that I have actually taken this time off my routine to write this review. The place would be an excellent option for Dinners as its got an open roof area for your chill out time with family, friends, and dates of-course.Â
After speaking to the Manager, I realized that its just a few days old restaurant and the first of its kind by Sayaji Hotels . I would only wish that this restaurant maintains the food quality and service for a long time to come and branch out to more cities for other foodies like me to enjoy the same.

We visited Meditterra at Bandra after seeing a review in Mumbai Times. It is a new restaurant from the Sayaji group and food was excellent. We ordered for a couple of items and everything was very good and reasonably priced. the baked fish was excellent and light on the stomach and would recommend it. The staff was very cordial and they left no stones unturned in giving us superb service. The complimentary bread basket was constantly refilled and would recommend a visit to this place. The surprise is that they do not take a tip but service at same time is not compromised.

Went for dinner on Sunday Night, its a newly opened place. The ambiance felt like we were not in Bombay. Literally reminds me of my time in Europe. The Service was friendly and the food was great. had a nice time. Although missed the alcohol which was not available due to the licence not yet come as explained to me by the captain. Gonna go back soon.
It has amazing food. I m in love with the chef and restaurant. May be the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. Elegant and nice. This restaurant belongs to the same owner who owns Barbeque nation and Sayaji hotels.
