This place is really good for family and friends, both. Very hygienic and provides quality food. Though not so budget friendly, especially for students. But never the less, one can try the food here to enjoy authentic kerelan dishes. I have tried all their ranges of kerela's chicken main courses and my all time favourite is kerela paratha, chicken kozi varutharachathu and kozi porichathu. :)
Yup it was amazing delicious n yup ... the guantity n the quality of food was wow .. i have bever eaten before .
Had being there last night for some authentic kerala food. We had nadan chicken chilly, nadan curry and lots of appam. We expexted the Curry to be a little spicy however it wasn't so. Appam were soft and tasty. Chicken chilly was the best.
Hands down one of the best places selling Kerala food in the city. I've been going to this place for a long time now and I'll always be up for a meal at this place! The staff would even recommend the best dishes to you and they've never disappointed.
We called for:
1. Prawns fry: They fry the fish with the skin and serve them with it. It's crispy and very very tasty. Well you could always ask them to not keep the skin. Those ones also taste equally good.
2. Irachi Kutton: It's lamb curry and it tastes AMAZING. It's fairly spicy, club it with Malabar paratha / neer dosa/ appam and it will be a supreme combination!
3. Chicken Stew: It's a curry made with coconut milk and again club it with some bread and you'll be good to go! It's filled with these amazing flavours you'll definitely love it!
We always tend to order one stew and one kutton and the combination always works well for us. The curries are so yum, we just lose track of the number of parathas and dosas we order to finish it. Also we could never possibly get enough of the food out here
4. Fish curry: Another coconut milk preparation, should be clubbed with plain rice and there you've got a Kickass combination!
Pick any dish, I can vouch it won't disappoint you!
We literally wiped the curry bowl clean because not a single drop can possibly be wasted. If you're heading for lunch try to make it before 2pm so that you can avoid the rush and also avoid some of the dishes going unavailable.
Just go visit already!
We ordered the below dishes:
Starters- Naadan Chicken
Main course - Prawns Curry,Mutton spicy, Chicken masala, Meen pachhacurry
All these with Appam&Kerala Parotta.
Dessert - Palada
Everything was super duper tasty and a delight to the taste buds except the mutton was not properly cooked. Worth a try !
It was a special occasion of Vishu when we happen to visit udaya lunch home.
Variety of South indian delicacy served in banana leaf including pachadi, aviyal and mouth watering payasam made our day.
You should definitely visit this ones atelast to enjoy the authetic Kerala style veg cusine.
The old hotel located in center of chembur has maintained its quality over years. Famous for keralite dishes it also serves range of other variety of indian food.
Must try their chicken thaali which is available only in afternoon.
I also tried-
Chicken haandi - 5/5
A lovely treat to indian food lovers!
Primarily popular for its Kerela style food, this is a small and a very old restaurant near Chembur station. It serves amazing South Indian food and if you ever crave for Appams and Kerela style food, you should go here.
We started with really juicy and tasty chicken lollipops. Then came the dishes that were recommended by the restaurant - Kozhi Varutharachathu and Kozhi Porichathu. The latter is a dry Chicken preparation and the former is a chicken curry with coconut base. Both tasted supremely tasty with Appams (Appams are must haves here).
Service is prompt and staff is helpful and courteous.
Would return for the Appams.
It's tasty and pocket friendly especially if you're going out with friends and family, the special items , you should try are naadan chicken chilli, paaysam, chicken porichatha and parota with some fresh lime soda๐
My favourite place for keralite food. Right beside Chembur station
All time favourite dish is the appam and stew curry. The gravies are authentic and lovely.
Location: Udaya lunch home
This is the best restaurant to eat veg and non veg Food in South Indian style.
The taste food is very good in this hotel.
If u want to enjoy the non veg and specially seafood in South Indian style so I recommend you D Udaya..
I have try in this hotel bombil fry chicken crispy n pomfret thali.
ambiance of this hotel is very good
staff is nice
Best visit with family and friends.
The name sounds slightly sad for those upmarket and tech savvy orderers but for food lovers I can say this is worth 4.5 / 5. I ordered reading some reviews n took a chance. But have to say the food is fab. In gravy tried Chicken Varutharachathu sounds smthn crazy but tastes simply superb. Wheat parathas r yummy n appam here is authentic n tasty. Chicken sukha is defi worth trying. U wana taste a yummy authentic kerlaite food. This is strongly recommended. Go for it. Chicken, Mutton n Fish is 100% worth treating your tummy. Cheers
If you are craving for authentic malabari food, you should definitely visit this place. Ambiance is not great but it is compensated by the food. I loved everything i tried here. Would recommend fish moilie, Nadaan chicken, mandeli and any fish fry. A must visit for all seafood lovers. Have also visited on onam. They serve authentic onam sadya and it is delicious vegetarian wholesome dish.
When your dad is happy with the food . It means a lot !!!
As it was my birthday yesterday , I asked dad what do you want for dinner and he was like food from Udaya Lunch home . So mum and me came to pick up food for him. For dad we ordered for Fish Moilee ( 300 ) which was loved by him . He found it tooo tasty and same goes with the Crab Masala ( 250 ) , he even loved the Mandil Fry ( 100 ) and Ghee Rice ( 110 ) . I drank Fresh Lime Soda ( 40 ) which was nothing special , just like how we get always and mum had Chicken Sweet Corn ( 120 ) which was okayish.
Ambience wasnโt anything great as such nor do I care much for it.
Servers were prompt and humble.
In short when dad is happy , the food has to be good.
Total bill - 920
An old traditional south indian resturant situated at a nook corner near chembur station. south indian non veg food is a must try here.. ofcourse they do seeve chinese too which is also very tasty.. we go here specially for appam, chicken malabar style the authentic one. we had prawns fry, chicken crispy as starter. prawns ere very fresh n soft inside. there malabari dishes r must try.
in all a good pocket friendly resturant. Go treat ur frnds n collegues with full on nin veg treat at a very affordable rate....
Udaya has been there ever since I've been a kid and I must say thses guys come in the legendary category as you never would be disappointed there, ever!
These guys are Bosses when it comes to Kerela cuisine.
Must trys are:-
Nadan Chicken Chilly
Chicken Ishtu
Fish Moilee
There's another Malabar dish which I can't spell or even pronounce so I suggest ask the server (the same guy has been there since forever.)
&
Malabar Paratha
Do not give this a miss.
I've given them. 4.5 for discontinuing the beer.
Have been a regular here now over the years.
The restaurant is inside one of those tiny lanes near Chembur station.
Absolutely love their food. Gives you this sense of having food at home. Lovely aromatic flavours alongwith the essence of coconut in almost all their dishes.
It is authentic Malabari food at its best. The Nadaan Chicken Chilly, Chicken Ishtu and Nadaan Kozhi Korma are dishes that you must absolutely try from here.
Nadaan Chicken Chilly is essentially fried, chunky bits of chicken. The fact that it is fried in coconut oil separates it from your run of the mill chilly.
Ishtu and Korma are essentially similar and coconut milk based gravies where the spices eventually differentiate it from Thai. The difference in the gravies is probably the level of spiciness.
I recently visited the place late at night. The waiters were very friendly and they served amazing food. Fish stew with appam is my all time favourite in Udaya. The Mandeli fish fry was fresh and crispy. Awsome food!! Value for money!!
A bit crowded place. But the wait is worth it.
Proper south indian delicacy outlet.
Kerala paratha, shrimps are the best.
Ambience is okayy.
Food quality is good along with the service.
Have been to this place since childhood .
Its located in an ally near chembur railway station .
This place has a decent ambience ,very calm and soothing.
I always prefer the Ac section .
Their speciality is Malabar dishes.
A few dishes that you must try are :-
* Fish Moliee
* Nadaan Chilly Chicken
* Paya soup
And any of the malabar curry in chicken ,mutton as well as seafood .
The bread of choice is apam or the malabar paratha.
Overall its pretty decent place and people must try it .
Highly recommended ๐๐ป
Had Onam Sadya yesterday. It was delicious. Udaya have been my "Onam" ADDA for last 6 years...
Being a regular to this place..I recommend Nadan Kozhikurma, Appam and Neychoru..๐๐
I ordered food through Swiggy from this restaurant, this place serves authentic Kerala Cuisine.
We ordered Appam and Lamb stew, Malabari Paratha and Chicken fry and they all were received hot and really tasty.
The pricing is reasonable and thanks to Swiggy food reached very much in time as expected.
Will definitely order again.
I have been der today.. Superb food.. Budget frndly... We had fish biryani and chicken lollipop gravy.. N it was yum .here .. .......great experience.. Loved it...

Authentic Kerala Restaurant. More than 50 years old. As I'm a vegetarian my options were very limited. Malabar Paratha with Kadal Curry is must try. My friend was speaking very highly of Non Vegetarian Dishes served here.
I saw pictures of the south Indian thaaliย (served on the banana leaf). Two questions- When do they serve this? And is itย Malyaaliย style or Tamil? Thanks in advance!
A very good eating restorant having age of almost 50 yrs. Seafood the only taste of food is good. If sitting in AC then cost more. If AC sitting not then cost not more.
Udaya Restaurant(also called as Udaya Lunch Home)is one of the oldest establishments in Chembur. It specialises in South Indian (Kerala and Mallu) Cuisine.
Although it is located near Chembur Station, the place is situated in a quiet area. Parking space might not be available.
โAMBIENCE: There's nothing special as such about the ambience. The A.C dining hall is preferable and comfortable.
โFOOD: The 'Malabari Special' Menu is highly recommended..
Had NADAN CHILLI CHICKEN(batter-fried Chicken pieces tossed in the typical kerala-style) and KOZHI VARAATHARACHAYADU(lighly spiced coconut-based Chicken curry) with APPAM. Appams are a must-have out here along with any gravy.
Service isn't remarkable but the food is Must-try if in Chembur. ๐
Tucked away in a corner and almost a stones throw away from Chembur Station .. This place serves awesome Mallu dishes ... Nothing fancy about the ambience ... AC section is a bit more comfortable though ... Must try are the chicken and mutton items from their Malabar menu along with delicious appams ... And Paaaya soup !
I also loved their veg ishtew ... And from that I presume the chicken ishtew should also be great ... This place is really light on the wallet too ...
This restaurant is located in Chembur station hidden away in a small galli , one can notice it if you see the small board pointing to the restaurant. This hotel serves Kerlaite Food and most of the dishes do taste good. The ambience is just about okay but the preparation and quality of food served on the platter is truly great . It cheap and thus easy on the wallet.I do recommend you guys to try out apam and payasam !
This place is a small outlet tucked in a little corner but the ambience is pleasant and nice. If you love sea food you'll love the menu. The recipes are completely traditional Kerala style. I tasted some of the best seafood marinated in kerala spices and herbs and cooked to perfection. If you are in and around chembur then you really have to visit this place.
Food you need to try - Pomfret fish fry/ tawa fry, fish curry, prawn masala fry and chicken 65.
If you want to try authentic Kerala food this is the place. We had ordered Sukka chicken and Appam and it was just beyond our expectations. Food is very tasty and yes last but not least the restaurant is very economical.
Near railway station. No big sign boards,no great decoration.Nothing fancy. If you are a foodie who will kill for a good fresh prawn chilly, just go to this place and order authentic kerela dishes.Ordered Appam, parotta, kadala curry, cauliflower chilly, manadali fry, prawn fry, fish garvy with coconut milk.Went with my "foodie guy" who went high after his first byte of prawns.
I had been to udaya lunch home last week with my family, the food was absolutely amazing, one of the best keralite food serving restaurant in Mumbai. Was absolutely worth it.
Extremely good restaurant if you are a big fan of Kerala paratha! It is an affordable restaurant which serves you almost all kerala dishes!
Service -5/5
Food quality-4.6/5
Ambience-3/5
If you want to eat authentic karelite food then this is the place to be. You get amazing appams here with spicy chicken gravy which is to die for
It's one of the finest restaurant you can find for a quiet family dinner. Ambience is pleasant. The speciality over here is southern style food. Malbar paratha with any of the southern chicken dishes are must try. The manager is friendly and service is good.

Food was very tasty and quality was also good ; decent place to visit with family , over all experience was good...ordered two veg and one chicken thali , staff is also simple and hardworking - highly recommended place.....
Always had a pleasant experience, with friends and family alike. Love the flavours, especially the chicken ishtu and mutton. Nice place for a quiet, sumptuous meal!
One of the few places in chembur where you can enjoy non-veg delicacies that are absolutely amazing. It's been known and famous for quite a long time, and located in intricate galiya of chembur, you might miss it if you don't search carefully.
Tried the chicken tikka and chicken chilly here, and the masala was the best part no doubt!
According to my experience this restaurant has the best value for money in the whole Chembur.ย Their South-Indian dishes are delicious and the reason to come for, but you also can get very good chinese from here. Service is prompt and food comes quickly to the table. Owner of the place isย a nice person and he gives good details about dishes.
There are a few handpicked restaurants that serve authentic South Indian food and Udaya is one of them. Located in a tiny lane near Chembur Station this place will not disappoint you. And with lesser places to visit in this locality, this place is surely a blessing for cheap and delicious South Indian Non-Veg Food.ย
After months, re-visited this place and the quality has not dropped an inch. The chicken Ishtu and Praratha is the best dish and would recommend it. Do try their fish Masala as well.ย
Please donโt judge the place through its ambience. The food is what matters and they surely serve the best.
A good south Indian restaurant serving non-veg food in the vicinity is a blessing for both non veg and South Indian food lovers..udaya was a good find by one of my friends as it is located in one of those tiny little shady looking lanes that no one will be able to spot it.. Yet we discovered it and we were happy to visit only to realize that there is humongous waiting at this restaurant on both week days as well as week ends..and we decided to visit on a week day and got a table with a waiting period of 10 minutes..
It is a tiny little place with AC in one section and they serve variety of chicken, prawns and mutton gravy with appam and parotha.. The food is very well cooked with lot of spices and kadi patta..the butter chicken here tastes different from that in a good punjabi joint but it is delicious..
The best part - loved this restaurant even more after getting the check..4 of us could finish our meal for 500 per couple only..service is just OK but you can't expect more out of this..all in all recommended
It's very rare to find an authentic Kerala restuarant in this city and Udaya Lunch Home puts an end to that worry. This place is strictly for food. Don't expect fancy chairs, plates, spoons, tables here...but be rest assured about the food, the Kerala food.
Do try nadan chilli chicken, veg or chicken stew with appams or porota, fish curry rice and adda payasam.
I was the last one to enter the restaurant and only 2 mins were left in closing but still they didn't deny me the pleasure of good food. The staff was courteous and humbly accepted my request for chicken ishtu which was cooked freshly though kitchen was going to close. The taste was good and I was eating Malabar paratha with chicken ishtu but the manager/owner suggested that I should have ordered appam with it instead of paratha. Nice experience!!!
In the crowded markets of chembur , did i actually discover a gem of a restaurant. Talk to a foodie about good food and nothing else matters. Not even dirty kitchens, to rats running around, or even for that matters crab shells on tables. Definitely any logical human will derive an inference that this place doesn't score well in the hygiene category, but keeping apart the hygienic standard issues , the food here is gobsmackingly delicious.
For 5 adults, the bill didn't even cross 1.5 k , which was a tremendous achievement for my wallet. Anyway coming back to the food, we had the prawn fry , which was served with the head and the entire shells including it's legs .
The mutton coconut fry was beautiful served with a thick gravy and well done meat .
The highlight of the evening was the chicken in yellow coconut gravy which was orgasmic ! We also ordered another chicken item which had a thick gravy to it and spicy chilly masala teamed with coconut and kadipatta .
Generally i have seen that people don't enjoy an overload of coconut and kadipatta , but me being a south indian and an ardent south indian non veg food fan absolutely enjoyed it . also had a plate of meen polichattu , which is a unique kind of keralite paste applied on the fish , but i didn't quite enjoy this one as it had a lot of mustard. The Chicken lollipop was delicious. All of this was accompanied with sumptuous kerala parathas . A perfect stuffing meal .
Good Keralite food
Chicken Ishtu, nada chicken chilly as a starter, prawns masala are some of the tasty dishes. You can also try other Keralite dishes but most of them will contain coconut stuff. But I like it.
Its very easy to miss this place in Chembur...coz its entry is in the bylanes of Chembur station road, if you are not attentive u might miss the gulley. But when you do have your first meal here...u wil surely remember this place for repeat visits. The absolute best for Kerala cuisine...I have always ended up eating...rather over eating to the fullest satisfaction at Udaya. Am jst gonna go on listing my fav dishes: the rasam... Epic is the only yet understated word to describe it. Authentic as hell. The Appams...the very best that can be manufactured in any kitchen...the range of seafood gravies that go well with those soft rice appams are just as drool worthy as spicily delicious their gravies are...the desserts options are also very regionally epic...to the caramel custards to the rice kheer...this hotel is very close to my stomach.. Must visit for any chemburite who loves his dose of Kerala cuisine from time to time.. With Sharvari Kotnis
You may not come across or notice Udaya unless you already know of it since it's hidden in a small lane close to the station..Udaya has been serving Kerala cuisine since decades (1958 as the board says).
This frills free simple looking place has some of the most delicious Kozhi dishes. The chicken ishtew, naadan kozhi kurma, iraachi kootan, malabari parotta, appams are some of the must try dishes...don't step out of the place without trying the chicken or mutton sukka.
Vegetarians can maintain safe distance.. And pls don't bother with ordering Chinese or regular Indian food.. This place is just about scrumptious Kerala non vegetarian cuisine. I'm not the best person to judge authenticity but it's worth a try for sure.
5/5 for authentic home style Kerala food ... the Avial, appam, Kerala rice, coconut curry veggies, sambhar, rasam.
2/5 for service
2.5/5 for ambience
Small place with about 20 odd tables divided in 3 sections in a small lane
You will not be able to find Udaya easily but when you do it's like finding a treasure. They serve Kerala style authentic food. Their appams and ishtu (stew) is just too good. For sea food lovers, there is a lot of variety! Best thing: it's very economical!
This place has been in chembur for years and only great foodies know about its potential. This is one of the few restaurant which serves the authentic Mallu food which is tasteful and exotic both at the same time. My personal favourite would be prawn masala fry n mutton masala.
A lovely place situated just adjacent to Chembur station on the east side. The ambiance is quite homely and the food is authentic malabari.
The aapams are just as any South Indian mom prepares at home. All dishes are reasonably priced and would not burn a hole in your pocket.
Service is little sluggish. So please have patience and built up your appetite .
A very small restaurent at a very shady place in Chembur serving heavenly Kerala food. We were craving for some succelent meat in Kerala style and landed up here and it was definitely a hit. We ordered for a Lamb sukha dish and a mutton gravy. I dont really remember the exact names though. They tasted extraordinary with the extra tender and soft meat alongside Malabari Parotha. Also after a heavy main course we opted for Payasam to end the heavy meal. It was heavenly making us lick our spoons to glory. All this for a very good price. We are definitely going back.
Best place to have Kerala dishes at chembur.
Specially nei choru is fantastic. Poratta is really awesome. Need to add some sine very dishes.
Great kerala sea ๐ food ๐ฒ.
Try she'll fish fry in starter.Highly recommended.
Prawns gravy, crab sukka but all in kerala style.
Prawns gravy is mouth watering, it's cashew coconut milk thick gravy with pepper and different spices.
Crab masala is just awesome.
Please eat with malbari paratha or simply with appam. Or any other kerala bread
It's very difficult to find the restaurant. It's hardly 20 meter away from the station but inside the narrow lane.
They only need to work on the atmosphere although it's good.
Visited this place after 10 long years and it is still the best to get some traditional kerala food. But I must say the ambience is not that great even inside the AC chamber.
We had aatin kaalu soup ( mutton leg soup) it was the best with all the flavors along with pepper.
Then we had ordered naadan chicken curry and porotta. Super is the word I can say about the chicken curry ;) :)
Overall a good meal ;)
Food 5/5
Ambience 3.5/5
Service 5/5
I have been visiting this restaurant for the past 12 years and the food has been the same with no,change in taste or flavour whatsoever. The old school wooden ambience lends itself really well to the authentic Kerala cuisine served here . I have virtually tried every possible dish on the menu. Its fun reading the menu card cuz the actual Malayalam names for the dishes are given . Good luck trying to pronounce them ๐. The appams, the seafood curries , the chicken starters , that wonderful lunchplate. Wow!! Amazing place ! Nd it's such a shame that such a nice restaurant is literally hidden from plane sight ppl who frequent this restaurant will know what I am talking about. Nd the best part is the reasonable price .
There are some restaurants which you visited often but never thought of reviewing... because only word of mouth publicity was enough.
If you want to authentic Kerala dishes and don't want to go the town: this is place for you. Situated between a paint and jewelry shop: don't get fooled with the appearance. Families and food lovers visit alike. It's one of oldest joint in Chembur.
We ordered Mutton Stew, mutton nadan (it has curry leaves flavor), appams and Ada Payasam. The dishes are not messed with, though missing a few finishing touches.
Tip: There is a signal in front of this place and its a junction.
Great family restaurant.
Look out for their sunday lunch special,
My personal favourites are their king size prawns ,appam and mutton stew, fish thali and their kalumakkai.
Must try ย for authentic Kerala delicacy.
Had been here for dinner. It was a place which I used to visitmore often during my college days. The place remains the same over these years. No renovation or stuff.
Coming to the food we had lamb soup, chicken fry, neichoru, chicken curry, caramel custard and payasam. All the items were excellent. Portion size is good and as all mallu restaurants the cost is on the lower side. I would definitely love to see some renovation of the hotel. It is clumsy in size and the a.c. sitting area only accommodates five table.
Udaya Family Restaurant is simply the best place to go try Malayalee Food. It is located in one of the by lanes next to Chembur station and it is one of those restaurants which are difficult to spot even if you have directions.
But once you find this place make sure you try their Parota with Chicken Kurma. The Kurma is so well made. It is light and made of coconut curry. It is mildly spiced but tastes oh so good. Even their biryani is quite good. Do try their Tandoori Chicken Kerala style and their Naadan Chilly Chicken. They have taken the best of both the worlds to create these two dishes and they have done a good job of it.
They take a lot of time to serve so be prepared to wait. But the wait is definitely worth it!
Udaya is chembur market's well kept secret . Situated in a tiny alley by the main road ,it's a blink and miss sort of situation .
The ambience is very homey and down right south Indian with appetizing aroma everywhere .
The food is amazing .Kerala cuisine is highly recommended although judging other people's reactions ,Chinese food is equally tasty . Prawns Ghee Roast, Naadan chicken chilly and their Daal Tadka are an absolute delight to your senses and nothing less .The fish thaali is nice too.
The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Quick service.
If you're in the area and crave authentic, lip smacking Indian food ,you can visit this place without a second thought .
Udaya has been providing comfort meals to students of TISS for a while now, and my friends and I are not to be left behind. When my friend's father (bless the kind soul) decided to take us out for lunch somewhere close, we promptly decided that it had to be Udaya for that nice, homely, satisfying Sunday lunch. We went for the staple chicken ishtu and the appams. We also decided to go for their Mutton Nadan Korma which was a treat to the tummy. The mutton was tender and the gravy so delicious that it would make you forget the meat. However, the service is excruciatingly slow and would make you snatch expectant looks every time a dish enters the room.ย
I have also tried their biryani, chicken lollipops and fish moiley on seperate occasions. Though they are great too, it is the chicken ishtu and the new found love for nadan korma makes me miss Udaya now that term is over.
Udaya is one of my favourite restaurants in Chembur. And there is no other reason apart from the DELICIOUS food.
You must absolutely order their Chicken Ishtu. Chunks of chicken cooked in a coconut base. The dish is very light but very, very tasty.
i also love their Mutton Nadan Kurma. The mutton is so tender and the gravy is so fabulous, that you will keeping asking for more.ย
The dishes go perfectly well with Appam, which are likes rotis made out of rice flower.
Food: 5/5
Ambiance: 3.5/5
Service: 3/5
The food takes a LOT of time to arrive. But its definitely worth the wait.
The absolute taste of Kerala! Chicken sukha for the starters, Chicken Malwani with Appams for main course and Prawns Biryani makes a complete superb dinner. The Appams are just too good, a small lunch home hidden away but worth a visit or even delivery.
Visited this place on Sunday. Really hard to find but they all say good things are difficult to get... We tried the chicken thali, the Kerala paranthas, kallumakya masala and pachakari Kurma.
Before I talk about the taste let me warn you guyz of the quantity they dooll out... the portions were quite surprisingly large. Now to the taste... surely authentic Keralite. I just loved the taste of the food here. Special mention of the sambar.. it was just amazingly good. The pachakari Kurma was also really delicious, thanks god we tried it. Regarding the chicken dish, it was good but have tasted better chicken dishes in keralite cusine. I would surely recommend this resturant..
This place is little difficult to find as it has a very narrow entrance which you would probably not be able to locate due the crowd on chembur station road but the Kerala food served here is delicious. Don't hesitate to ask for Kallummakya varathathu even if you don't know how to pronounce it, the waiters do understand. Also try malabari paratha and appams with Nadan kozhi kurma.
Besides the Kerala food you can try butter chicken.
My all time fav food destination. Despite being there umpteen number of times , got around writing a review only now. Apart from being close to home , The deliciousness of the food keeps me coming back for more . by now have arrived at my staple favs here Ayakura Pollichattu ( steamed fish in yummy tasting spices in banana leaf) , Prawn Fry ( crispy fried spicy prawn in curry leaves and chillies), Kozi Korma( Light yellow divine Chicken in coconut gravy) , Parotha. In Veggie delites its the Sambhar that steals the show and love the Banana Leaf Sadya served during Onam.
For Sweet tooth theres the tastiest Ada Pradaman.
A fully loaded meal trying out all these dishes for 4 could cost you less than rs.1500/-
High recommended, a family fav!!:)
Overall, it's good. If they could add some variety to the thali, it would be great. They give normal green chutney and extra fish gravy in another cup, which could make way for another 2 dishes. Chicken lollipop was prepared in a hurry, which remained uncooked inside.
This place has a lot of good things. Some of them are as follows :
1) Good food
2) Good Hygenie
3) Good Gensture
4) Smile on everyone's face in the restaurant
5) Reasonable price
I think everyone who looks for a good place to eat, the above mentioned things are more than enough. If you are thinking of going to this place, don't think twice. Just move in. You will love everything here.
Lovely food. Very affordable. Will surely visit again with me family.
It's a small place, but congested. We always have to wait at least for half an hour. But for that food quality and taste it's worth waiting.
Nice, clean and good place for Malvani food. Earlier there use to be a restaurant called Tendulkar Malvani at this place.
The staff is courteous and service is good. Good place for some tasty food.
Serves good authentic sea food and non vegetarian food. Enjoy.,.small place but good for lunch....no parking available
Great ambience with authentic Malvani taste. Affordable rates and good place for after-work hangouts. You can even take a laptop and work here as charging points are available at every table.
Loved the mutton masala and bhakti. Authentic malwani taste
Amazing food, worth the money!
Must try the thali's Veg, Egg, Fish!!
Teesrya malasa and prawn masala were good.
Love the rice bhakri here!!!
Worth it. Go for it.
Very good food. Humble service. Cost effective.
Thali was served very quickly.
Food is very tasty.
Loved the thali items here.
Fish thali was so good.
A very awesome ambience and peaceful place with yummy filling appetite, we had 2 non- veg thali as well as was very happy with service, and daughter also enjoyed ๐ it's only costed us near by 650/- for 2 thali, soft drink and water bottle
